  2. 0:02scoop, tongs.
  3. 0:03My name is Tom Brown and I create tiny
  4. 0:05foods.
  5. 0:06You got to start small sometimes.
  6. 0:07You do have to start small, yeah.
  7. 0:09Well, I'm a performance artist. I set up
  8. 0:11the miniature kitchen on the street. I
  9. 0:13cook this tiny food and give it away for
  10. 0:15free. The food that I cook is real food,
  11. 0:18fully edible. I've just shrunk it. Got
  12. 0:21masa. Into the tortilla press. Just a
  13. 0:24little scoop of refried beans. When this
  14. 0:26is done, you'll have a fresh hot
  15. 0:28empanada.
  16. 0:29I created the entire kitchen. All of the
  17. 0:31utensils are real. Everything's fully
  18. 0:33functional. I've created over 300 tools
  19. 0:36now.
  20. 0:37One of the things that I like the most
  21. 0:38about the kitchen is the sense of trust
  22. 0:40that it creates with other people
  23. 0:41because of the space that's created
  24. 0:43around food and around the miniature
  25. 0:45kitchen.
  26. 0:46It's a perfect miniature empanada.
  27. 0:48Around the kitchen, people are free to
  28. 0:51trust me. I'm free to trust them and in
  29. 0:54that space, it allows us to have a true
  30. 0:57conversation about life.
