tiktok slideshows as a marketing strategy — Transcript
Full transcript
- 0:00Hey everybody, my name is Matt. I'm the
- 0:01creator of Real Farm. And in this video,
- 0:03I'm going to tell you why your business
- 0:04should be doing Tik Tok slideshows as a
- 0:06marketing strategy, as well as ripping
- 0:08on some uh slideshow formats that
- 0:10different businesses should be doing.
- 0:11So, I'm going to have Claude give me
- 0:13three random businesses. And from there,
- 0:14I'm just going to give you my opinion on
- 0:16what I think they could be doing. Um, so
- 0:18slideshows are important to me because
- 0:21it is the only video format I have found
- 0:23that you can create with AI and code and
- 0:25no one knows is created with AI and
- 0:27code. Not only that, but it's inherently
- 0:29valuable and has a really high
- 0:30engagement rate. And the reason why I
- 0:31say that is because it's evergreen. If
- 0:33you don't know what evergreen means, it
- 0:35just means that the information doesn't
- 0:37fade with time. Like a news cycle or a
- 0:39story might have a lifespan of 48 hours.
- 0:43Typical evergreen content doesn't fade
- 0:45like that. It just it stays the same for
- 0:47years and you can still come back to it
- 0:50and it can still be valuable. That's
- 0:51what I mean by evergreen. So, that's
- 0:54slideshows and why I think it's really
- 0:56important. But, let's go do some
- 0:59riffing, right? Uh, three random
- 1:02businesses. Let's see what it gives me.
- 1:04Okay, so we get Headspace, Gym Shark,
- 1:06and Risk. Uh, so Headspace um I would
- 1:10probably do
- 1:13um a video format like this. So,
- 1:14Headspace is a meditation app. It is the
- 1:17niche
- 1:19is why am I
- 1:21blinking? Being, you know, just the idea
- 1:23of being serene, calm, bring yourself
- 1:26back to your body, peaceful. And I think
- 1:28these images in this uh page match that.
- 1:32So, I would probably take the images
- 1:33just like this um for the meditation
- 1:36app. And if we had to put meditation in
- 1:41as a solution to any problem, it would
- 1:43probably be fixing anxiety and stress.
- 1:45So, I would probably cater the hook to
- 1:47anxiety and stress and kind of leverage
- 1:50that as a way to promote a meditation
- 1:53app to be more calm and bring yourself
- 1:54back to your body. So, I would probably
- 1:56do a hook something like you don't have
- 1:58to figure it out all right now or you
- 2:01don't have to have it all figured out
- 2:02right now. The next slide could be
- 2:04something like
- 2:05um it's okay to not feel okay or along
- 2:09those lines, right? And then the last
- 2:10slide would be like a long- winded way
- 2:12of saying you're doing great like just
- 2:14take take 30 minutes or take 10 minutes
- 2:17to feel grateful for where you are or
- 2:20something like that. Just it has to
- 2:22relate more emotional on an app like
- 2:25this because you got to know your
- 2:27audience. So in order to sell an app
- 2:30like a meditation app with a format like
- 2:32this like like I said you got to know
- 2:35your audience. I don't think you should
- 2:36sell your app because it doesn't feel
- 2:38right to say something like you have
- 2:40like you have this all figured out don't
- 2:42worry and then the next slide says
- 2:46download this headsp space and meditate
- 2:49you know you can but I personally it
- 2:51might not feel right
- 2:53because you don't want to feel like
- 2:55you're trying to sell something to the
- 2:56audience um you can have the link in bio
- 3:00and make content so when they like this
- 3:02content and go back to your page and
- 3:03look at more content more these posts,
- 3:05they can correlate your brand headspace
- 3:08to this content. So every time they see
- 3:09this content, they think of your brand.
- 3:11Um, which is really important. So
- 3:12there's brand awareness there. Um, as
- 3:14for Gym Shark, I would probably do
- 3:17something
- 3:18like lean into hustle culture, lean into
- 3:22getting yelled, you know, gym stuff. Um,
- 3:26I'll probably do a listical format which
- 3:28is more education based um because or
- 3:31more self-help if anything and do stuff
- 3:34like
- 3:36um like kind of like this uh but lean it
- 3:42towards working out and Gym Shark. So,
- 3:45in terms of the images, you're it's not
- 3:47you're not really selling a uh a
- 3:49solution, but you're selling a a feeling
- 3:52with clothing. So, it's a little bit
- 3:53different. I would probably need the
- 3:54photos to be of the clothing itself, not
- 3:56as like a here's my shirt thing, but
- 3:58like actual photos of people or people
- 4:02working out in that clothing because
- 4:03that's the environment where you're
- 4:04supposed to wear that clothing, right?
- 4:06So, I'd probably do something like this.
- 4:08Um, same narratives honestly, but I
- 4:11would change the images to
- 4:13have the exact same images honestly, but
- 4:17have the people
- 4:18wearing your Gym Shark clothing, right?
- 4:22And the last one is a risk game, a
- 4:26little bit different. Um, it has to do
- 4:28with history.
- 4:32Um, this is actually perfect. Um, so
- 4:35something just like this. Strongest
- 4:37countries of every century. Historical
- 4:39figures with the most aura. Um, top
- 4:42eight greatest cons. Top six greatest
- 4:45medieval kings of England. I would just
- 4:47stick to like this. Yeah. This evergreen
- 4:49like top this. um um whatever it's
- 4:52called um but relate it to history and
- 4:56conquering because it has you know the
- 4:58risk game and you know how to sell that
- 5:01how do I sell the risk game in these
- 5:05posts honestly I would probably think
- 5:08about having the last slide be something
- 5:11along the lines of if you're like saying
- 5:13if you're interested in history or if
- 5:15you're interested
- 5:17in
- 5:18war Um, you might be interested in this
- 5:23game I made and then say risk link in
- 5:26bio, right? But I think it m it has to
- 5:28come from the perspective of a first
- 5:30person saying I made this, right? If you
- 5:32just say buy my thing link in bio, it
- 5:34just feels like okay, there has to be
- 5:36some story there, right? And if you're
- 5:38making posts about history, I think you
- 5:41need to cater toward that c that CTA
- 5:44towards history. I Yeah, probably just
- 5:46like if you like
- 5:47history, check out this like if you like
- 5:51history, you might be interested in this
- 5:53game I made. I think that would probably
- 5:55be good do decent. Um, honestly, um, but
- 6:00but once again, it really depends on the
- 6:03slideshow and the narrative that you're
- 6:04you're trying to spin. So, that's my
- 6:06little riff. Honestly, that was a lot
- 6:07harder than I thought. Um, I thought
- 6:09it'd be kind of easy, but um, this is a
- 6:11great exercise for me. So, thanks for
- 6:13watching the video and I will see you
- 6:17later. I don't How do I end these?
