- 0:00How would you like to have a technique
- 0:02that you can use to have alpha
- 0:03functioning instantly at any time, even
- 0:06with your eyes
- 0:08open? How'd you like to have a technique
- 0:10that you can use to help you learn to
- 0:12say the right thing at the right time?
- 0:15Oh, can you imagine how that would help
- 0:16you to be more successful more
- 0:18often? You can learn to do those things
- 0:20and a lot more with the Silva methods
- 0:23three-fingers technique. The
- 0:25three-fingers technique is a trigger
- 0:27mechanism that reminds you of something
- 0:28that you have programmed before. You
- 0:31program yourself that whenever you bring
- 0:33together the tips of the thumb and first
- 0:35two fingers of either hand, something
- 0:37that you program for will take place.
- 0:40For instance, let's say that you want to
- 0:43be able to relax better in tense
- 0:45situations. Sometimes when you get
- 0:47uptight and you don't want to and you
- 0:48want to relax, you can use the same
- 0:51basic programming system, programming
- 0:53formulas that you've learned before and
- 0:55incorporate the three fingers technique
- 0:57into your
- 0:58programming. Remember how we did that?
- 1:01First, you enter your level and state
- 1:03the problem. I get nervous when talking
- 1:05to my boss might be the problem. Next,
- 1:08you identify your goal. I want to remain
- 1:11relaxed and confident. Third, you make a
- 1:14plan. So you would bring the tips of the
- 1:16thumb and first two fingers together of
- 1:18either hand or both hands. And you would
- 1:20tell yourself mentally whenever I'm
- 1:22talking to my boss and I feel tense and
- 1:24nervous, I'll bring together the tips of
- 1:26the first two fingers and thumb of
- 1:27either hand as I am doing now. Take a
- 1:30deep breath. As I exhale, I will relax
- 1:34and I will be relaxed and
- 1:36confident. Then the next time you're
- 1:38talking with your boss and you get
- 1:39nervous or something, use the
- 1:41three-fingers technique. Take a deep
- 1:42breath and relax. And remember that
- 1:45final step, act as if you are relaxed,
- 1:48make believe. If you have to pretend,
- 1:50play like, make it happen, and it will
- 1:54happen. Now, let me explain to you
- 1:56exactly how to apply the three fingers
- 1:58technique. You got to do it right.
- 2:00There's a special way. You bring
- 2:02together the tips of the first two
- 2:04fingers and thumb of either hand. It's a
- 2:06circular kind of a motion. It's not the
- 2:08flat part of the hands where the fingers
- 2:10and thumbs are kind of sticking out in
- 2:11front kind of parallel to each other,
- 2:13but it's a circular motion. We do this
- 2:17because a great deal of energy is
- 2:19radiated out of the tips of the fingers.
- 2:21You know, the fingers, the fingertips
- 2:23are kind of like valves radiating
- 2:24energy. So, when you short circuit this
- 2:27energy, when you recirculate the energy,
- 2:30you keep it from escaping. You're
- 2:31building it up within you. Then you can
- 2:33program with more energy.
- 2:36Now you don't need to use any amount of
- 2:38pressure or anything like that. You just
- 2:39touch the fingertips together, the thumb
- 2:41and the tips of the first two
- 2:42fingers. In the conditioning cycle, we
- 2:45will program that by bringing together
- 2:47the tips of the first two fingers and
- 2:49thumb of either hand. This causes your
- 2:52mind to adjust to a deeper level of
- 2:54awareness for stronger programming.
- 2:56Stronger programming of information
- 2:58results in easier recall, producing a
- 3:01better memory.
- 3:03Then we'll program two ways that you can
- 3:05use the three-fingers technique to
- 3:07program yourself to remember information
- 3:09better. And we will also go on to
- 3:12program the test taking technique which
- 3:14uses three steps including ESP to help
- 3:17you get the answer that you need when
- 3:19you need it. Here's how it
- 3:22goes. To read a lesson, let's say you're
- 3:25going to study a lesson. Perhaps you're
- 3:27in school and need to study a lesson.
- 3:29Perhaps you're not in school, but you
- 3:31want to improve yourself on your job or
- 3:32in your career or you want to do
- 3:35something special like learning to fly.
- 3:37There's so many times that you need to
- 3:39learn
- 3:41information. So, when you need to learn
- 3:43something, you're going to read a
- 3:44lesson. Enter level one with the use of
- 3:47the 3:1 method. Tell yourself mentally
- 3:49that you're going to count from one to
- 3:51three. And at the count of three, you
- 3:53will open your eyes and read the lesson.
- 3:56Mention the lesson title and
- 3:59subject and add in there noises will not
- 4:02distract me but will help me to
- 4:05concentrate. I will have superior
- 4:07concentration and
- 4:09understanding. Count from 1 to three.
- 4:11Open your eyes and read the lesson. Now
- 4:13when you have read the lesson once again
- 4:15enter level one with the 3:1 method.
- 4:18Tell yourself mentally, I will recall
- 4:20the lesson I have just read. mention the
- 4:22title and subject anytime in the future
- 4:25with the use of the three fingers
- 4:28technique. Now the result of that is
- 4:31that later when you come back and you
- 4:33need to remember and you put your three
- 4:35fingers together, it will feel like you
- 4:36just finished studying that lesson a
- 4:38short time ago. You do need to make
- 4:40impressions when you are studying.
- 4:43Remember to remember what we talked
- 4:45about memory being uh easier with
- 4:47visualization. So, when you're reading,
- 4:49visualize what it is that you're
- 4:51reading. If you're reading a history
- 4:53lesson, visualize it. If you're reading
- 4:55about uh how to navigate an airplane,
- 4:58picture yourself doing that. Picture the
- 5:00things that you would do. Even courses
- 5:03that don't deal too much with visual
- 5:04things like uh maybe bookkeeping or
- 5:07accounting. Visualize that. When they
- 5:09talk about a profit and loss statement
- 5:10has to have certain elements on it, your
- 5:13assets, your income, your liabilities,
- 5:15and so forth. You can picture what a
- 5:17profit and loss statement looks like.
- 5:20Make mental pictures. Make a strong
- 5:22impression so that after you finished
- 5:23reading the lesson, you will remember
- 5:26most of what you read. Then later when
- 5:28you come back and use the three fingers
- 5:30technique, you'll remember it as well as
- 5:32you did after you had finished the
- 5:34lesson. Now, to hear a lecture, it's a
- 5:37little bit different procedure. To hear
- 5:39a lecture, enter level one with the 3:1
- 5:41method and tell yourself mentally that
- 5:43you're going to hear a lecture. Mention
- 5:45the title, subject, and lecture's name.
- 5:48Tell yourself that you're going to use
- 5:49the three fingers technique. Keep your
- 5:52eyes open during the lecture. Tell
- 5:54yourself that noises will not distract
- 5:56you, but will help you to concentrate.
- 5:58That you will have superior
- 5:59concentration and
- 6:01understanding and that you will recall
- 6:04the lecture. Mention the title, subject,
- 6:05and lecture's name anytime in the future
- 6:08with the use of the three-fingers
- 6:10technique. Now, it's the same way. Make
- 6:12strong impressions while you're hearing
- 6:14the lecture. What do you remember after
- 6:16the lecture is over with or whatever
- 6:19somebody is telling you. Sometimes
- 6:20somebody's simply giving you
- 6:21instructions on how to do something. You
- 6:23can do the same thing is say later today
- 6:25I'll be getting instructions on how to
- 6:27perform a new procedure. So you can
- 6:30program yourself in the same way with
- 6:31the three fingers technique.
- 6:34Now, you notice that for reading, you
- 6:36prepare yourself before you program
- 6:39yourself before you begin to read
- 6:41because you're going to open your eyes
- 6:42and focus, which is going to bring you
- 6:43back to beta. Focusing your eyes
- 6:45requires beta frequency, remember? So,
- 6:47you have to prepare yourself ahead of
- 6:49time. You have to sandwich in what
- 6:51you're going to get. Do the before, the
- 6:54pre, and then the after, the
- 6:56postprogramming. Pre and post
- 6:58programming. Before and after. I'm going
- 7:00to read the lesson. You mention the
- 7:02subject name, the title, whatever. It's
- 7:04like you're classifying it, like you're
- 7:06indexing it so that you can get back to
- 7:07it later when you need to find that
- 7:10information. Then you come out of your
- 7:12level and you read the lesson. After
- 7:13you've read the lesson, enter your level
- 7:16again and strengthen the programming.
- 7:19The lesson I have read, if I need to
- 7:20recall it anytime in the future, this
- 7:22lesson, the title, the subject, all I
- 7:25need to do is the three fingers
- 7:27technique. And you put your three
- 7:28fingers together. This is all I need to
- 7:29do. You tell yourself this at level.
- 7:31Follow the formula the way it's written.
- 7:34So you have two different ways of
- 7:35programming. To read a lesson, program
- 7:38before and again after you've read the
- 7:40lesson. Sandwich the study part in the
- 7:42middle because you're focusing your eyes
- 7:43and
- 7:44concentrating. To listen to a lecture,
- 7:46you don't have to keep your eyes focused
- 7:48all the time. You can defocus. So do it
- 7:50all in one session. Use one hand or the
- 7:52other all during the lecture to use the
- 7:54three fingers technique and to lock it
- 7:57in. Okay. two different formulas
- 8:00depending on the set of circumstances
- 8:02that you're going to be
- 8:04using for test taking with the
- 8:06three-fingers technique. Follow the
- 8:08three cycle method. First, read your
- 8:11test questions the way you always do.
- 8:13This is what we'll be programming in the
- 8:14conditioning cycle. Read your test
- 8:16questions the way you always do, but do
- 8:18not stay too long on any of them. If you
- 8:20have a ready answer, put it down. If
- 8:22not, skip that question and move to the
- 8:24next one. Second, use the three fingers
- 8:28technique. Do us on the first cycle, but
- 8:30stay a little longer on the unanswered
- 8:32question. When an answer comes, put it
- 8:34down. If not, skip that question, move
- 8:37to the next
- 8:38one. Third, use the three-fingers
- 8:41technique. Read the unanswered question,
- 8:44and if still no answer comes, close your
- 8:46eyes, turn them slightly upward,
- 8:49visualize or imagine your professor on
- 8:51your mental screen, and ask your
- 8:53professor for the answer.
- 8:55Then clear your mind and start thinking
- 8:58again to figure out the answer. The
- 9:00answer that comes is your professors.
- 9:02Write it down. Do not turn in a blank
- 9:05paper. Let me back up here and make a
- 9:08couple of comments on this formula,
- 9:10these formulas here, and why Mr. Silva
- 9:12put them in. Most people who have
- 9:15trouble on a test have trouble with it
- 9:17because they get too tense. They get
- 9:18uptight. They're all stressed out. And
- 9:20that blocks memory. Makes it difficult
- 9:22to use your mind when you're tense.
- 9:24you're at a high beta. We need to relax.
- 9:27It's easier to do. So, odds are you
- 9:30probably know half the answers on most
- 9:31any test. So, you're pretty close to
- 9:33passing it right off the bat. So, go
- 9:36through. Don't get hung up on a question
- 9:37you don't know. Don't worry about that.
- 9:39Skip it. Just go down. If you've got an
- 9:42answer, if there's an answer already on
- 9:43the tip of your tongue, put it down. If
- 9:45not, skip it. Answer all the ones that
- 9:48you can. Accumulate as many points on
- 9:50that test as you can with all the easy
- 9:52questions. Then back up, go back to the
- 9:55beginning again and go down until the
- 9:57first question that you weren't sure of
- 9:58and you skipped it. Now you still don't
- 10:00have an answer. Okay, we start pulling
- 10:02out our secret weapons. You put your
- 10:04three fingers together and you think
- 10:06about it again using the three fingers
- 10:08technique. Where did I read this? Where
- 10:09did I study it? What will come back to
- 10:11me? Relax yourself. Have that alpha
- 10:14functioning. Remember, bringing together
- 10:16the tips of the thumb and first two
- 10:17finger of either hand causes your mind
- 10:19to adjust to a deeper level of awareness
- 10:21for stronger programming. Stronger
- 10:24programming of information results in
- 10:26easier recall, producing a better
- 10:29memory. Remember, that's what we program
- 10:31there. So, just doing that, you're
- 10:33relaxing into the alpha level and your
- 10:35memory is automatically improved. So,
- 10:38you want to do that. You go back and
- 10:40most of the questions that you skip,
- 10:41you'll be able to answer that way. Now
- 10:43you've already got your passing grade.
- 10:46Now you go back in the third cycle and
- 10:48we use ESP. If you've been in a
- 10:51classroom studying with a professor, you
- 10:52have very close rapport with that
- 10:54teacher, with that professor. Very close
- 10:57rapport. You're within the aura range of
- 10:58each other. The the energy that the body
- 11:01radiates electrical energy coming off
- 11:03the brain that can be measured with an
- 11:04EEG, an
- 11:06electronraph. There's other energies,
- 11:08heat and various other kinds of energy
- 11:10radiating out from our bodies. that
- 11:13energy radiation extends out about 25
- 11:15feet. So if you and your teacher are
- 11:18within 25 feet of each other, your auras
- 11:21are completely overlapped. So you can it
- 11:24makes it much easier to sense
- 11:26information. So what you do is you want
- 11:28to detect information that your
- 11:30professor has that you need. We've heard
- 11:33students come back telling stories about
- 11:35questions that were about subject matter
- 11:37that was covered on a day when they
- 11:39missed the class. They had not been
- 11:41taught this subject matter and yet
- 11:43somehow they were able to detect the
- 11:45information and come up with the right
- 11:47answer. Wow. It gets pretty exciting,
- 11:50doesn't it? In fact, uh on the final
- 11:52tape on tape 12, Mr. Silva even speaks
- 11:55about an early experiment they did way
- 11:57back early in 1966 before he began
- 12:00teaching the class publicly to people at
- 12:03a college. They taught students the
- 12:05three-fingers technique. They taught
- 12:06them the course. They gave them a test
- 12:08that they had not studied for. They had
- 12:10never covered the subject matter. And
- 12:12the students passed the test. They got
- 12:14some educators really upset. You're
- 12:16going to ruin the educational system.
- 12:18What are we going to be able to do?
- 12:19Well, of course, these are additional
- 12:21tools to allow us to function even
- 12:23better. Please trust me here. This is
- 12:26not a substitute for study. You still
- 12:28need to study. This is in addition to so
- 12:30that we can do even better. The world's
- 12:32getting more competitive all the time.
- 12:33We need everything that we can get. So
- 12:36you put your three fingers together, you
- 12:38recall that feeling of being at level.
- 12:39You turn your eyes upward and you ask
- 12:41your professor for the answer. Then
- 12:43clear your mind. Clear your mind. What
- 12:46does that mean to clear your mind? Let
- 12:48me explain that. It's like to start with
- 12:51you're in a transmitting mode. You are
- 12:53sending information. You are sending out
- 12:55the information. I need the
- 12:57answer. Then you want to reverse that.
- 13:00You want to come back in a receiving
- 13:02mode. So what you have to do is to it's
- 13:05like unplug from transmit. So here's how
- 13:07you do it. You ask the question to clear
- 13:09your mind. Think about an entirely
- 13:11different topic. Totally different
- 13:13subject matter. Okay. Later this
- 13:15afternoon I have to remember to stop by
- 13:17the store and pick up some milk. Okay.
- 13:19You're thinking about something entirely
- 13:21different. That clears your mind. Then
- 13:24you're able to go back again the other
- 13:27direction to go back and pose the
- 13:30question again. and say okay my question
- 13:32was about such and such and the answer
- 13:34is and you're in the receive mode now so
- 13:37you expect to receive an answer then it
- 13:40says in the formula what does it say
- 13:43start thinking again to figure out the
- 13:46answer this is not a passive course here
- 13:49that you're learning these are not
- 13:51passive techniques we have changed the
- 13:53meaning changed the meaning of the
- 13:55letters ESP originally they were coined
- 13:58to mean extra sensory perception
- 14:02We know now that the mental senses are
- 14:05not extra senses. In fact, they predated
- 14:07came before the physical senses. We
- 14:09think the physical ones are probably the
- 14:11extra ones. The mental senses were
- 14:13always there. We think that's the
- 14:15primary sense. So he calls it effective
- 14:19sensory projection. We do not sit back
- 14:22and wait for something to come to us. We
- 14:24do not sit back and wait for the answer
- 14:26to the test question to come to us. We
- 14:29project and get it. start thinking again
- 14:32to figure out the answer. The answer
- 14:34that comes is your professors. That
- 14:35means whatever you think about that's
- 14:38your professor's answer. So you don't
- 14:40just sit back and wait. Think about it.
- 14:42Write it down. Do not turn in a blank
- 14:45paper. Now this technique, like all the
- 14:48others that we have in the course, has
- 14:49applications far beyond the examples
- 14:52that are given here. What you're really
- 14:54doing is learning how to say the right
- 14:56thing at the right time, how to get the
- 14:57right answer when you need it.
- 15:00When you're going to a meeting, use your
- 15:02three fingers technique to help you
- 15:03remember what you need to remember.
- 15:05Pre-program yourself with it to respond
- 15:07in the most appropriate and beneficial
- 15:09manner. If you get into a disagreement
- 15:11or an argument with a family member on
- 15:13the job, use your three fingers
- 15:15technique to help you remain calm, to
- 15:17understand what the real problem is, to
- 15:20take the most appropriate action so that
- 15:22everyone will be satisfied. You can
- 15:24program yourself that you will not react
- 15:26in anger, but you will respond with
- 15:29wisdom and good judgment. Isn't that
- 15:31better? Now, it's always best if you
- 15:34pre-program for the specific situation.
- 15:36For instance, if you get into arguments
- 15:38from time to time, if you kind of lose
- 15:40your temper, if you're reacting rather
- 15:41than responding, then enter your level
- 15:44and analyze the problem. You'll get more
- 15:46ideas at your level than you will at
- 15:48beta. So, analyze the problem. Perhaps
- 15:50you will understand the real reason
- 15:52that's causing the arguments. Perhaps a
- 15:54little insecurity that you have. This
- 15:56alone may be enough to solve the
- 15:58problem. If not, or if you're concerned,
- 16:00you want to be sure, then what you want
- 16:03to do is to pre-program yourself with
- 16:05the three-fingers technique so that you
- 16:07will respond the way that you desire.
- 16:11Many SOA method lecturers, especially
- 16:13when first starting out, program
- 16:15themselves that they'll say the right
- 16:16thing at the right time when presenting
- 16:18the course, when doing their lecturing.
- 16:20We program to serve the needs of the
- 16:22people in the class. We program to be
- 16:25able to answer questions in a way that
- 16:26helps the people who ask them that
- 16:28provides a greatest benefit for the
- 16:30class. Well, you get the idea about how
- 16:32you can use the
- 16:34technique. In uh test taking step three,
- 16:37you learn how to use ESP to detect
- 16:40information. so that you can get a
- 16:41higher grade on a test. With practice,
- 16:44you can learn how to detect information
- 16:46in a similar manner when you're talking
- 16:48with someone, even with your eyes open.
- 16:51Remember that whenever you focus your
- 16:52eyes or whenever you attempt to focus
- 16:54your eyes, your brain adjusts to beta.
- 16:57If you want to be an alpha with your
- 16:59eyes open, you must defocus them. Sort
- 17:02of like a daydreaming state. You're
- 17:04aware of what's going on around you, but
- 17:06you're not focused on anything. This
- 17:08takes some practice. Remember to
- 17:10practice the fundamentals first. Get the
- 17:11techniques working the way you're being
- 17:13taught. Practice the memory pegs to
- 17:15improve your visualization and
- 17:16imagination. Practice entering your
- 17:18level three times a day so that you
- 17:20become so familiar with being at alpha
- 17:22that it will be easy for you to be at
- 17:24alpha anytime, even when you're active
- 17:26and have your eyes open. Practice. It
- 17:29all comes with
- 17:31practice. This is an outstanding
- 17:33technique. Mr. Mr. Silva altered it for
- 17:35his son Tony when Tony was drafted in
- 17:38order to go to Vietnam during the
- 17:39Vietnam
- 17:40War. Mr. Silva explains that that he
- 17:43felt it would be very difficult to keep
- 17:45the tips of your three fingers together
- 17:46when you're in a fighting situation like
- 17:48when you're firing a rifle. You know, if
- 17:51you make a fist, you don't have your
- 17:52fingertips together. So, he programmed
- 17:55Tony in a different way. What he did was
- 17:57to have Tony press the little finger of
- 17:59his hand into the palm of his hand. This
- 18:02happens naturally when you make a fist.
- 18:04It's also an easy position when you're
- 18:06handling a rifle. Your four fingers on
- 18:08the trigger and you can hold the tip of
- 18:10your little finger against the palm of
- 18:11your hand. He pre-programmed that
- 18:14whenever Tony held the little finger of
- 18:16either hand against the palm of that
- 18:17hand, he would be more intuitive and
- 18:20aware of any dangerous situation. How
- 18:23did the technique work? It worked great.
- 18:25Tony told a story about coming to a fork
- 18:28in the road and selecting one path over
- 18:30another and learning later that there
- 18:32were Vietkong soldiers waiting to ambush
- 18:34them on the path that they avoided. This
- 18:37happened frequently during the year that
- 18:38he was in Vietnam. In fact, Mr. Silva
- 18:41not only programmed Tony, he programmed
- 18:43about 30 other young men from Larredo
- 18:45along with Tony. They were all sent to
- 18:47the same area. I was told by someone who
- 18:50was there at the time that at the same
- 18:52time that Tony and these young men from
- 18:54Larredo went into Vietnam, the area that
- 18:56they were sent to had such a bad
- 18:58reputation that when new soldiers
- 19:00arrived, the paperwork was prepared for
- 19:02their purple hearts when they got there.
- 19:04Only the date was left blank. But all of
- 19:07the young men from Laredo, using their
- 19:09little finger in the palm of the hand
- 19:10technique, came home safely. Well, after
- 19:14they got back to Larredo, whenever any
- 19:15of these young men would see Mr. Silva
- 19:17on the street, they'd wave to him with a
- 19:18little finger folded into the palm of
- 19:20their hand. In fact, the three-fingers
- 19:23technique has become our Silva method
- 19:24salute. Graduates all over the world may
- 19:27speak different languages, but they all
- 19:29understand the three-finger salute. So,
- 19:31whenever you see somebody wave to you
- 19:32with their three fingers together, wave
- 19:34back the same way. You'll know they're a
- 19:36Silva Method
- 19:38graduate. Now, this next conditioning
- 19:40cycle is relatively short. It's only
- 19:42about 15 minutes. When we get to the
- 19:44impression of new material, I will ask
- 19:46you to bring together the tips of the
- 19:47thumb and first two fingers of either
- 19:49hand so we can program the
- 19:51technique. Now, when you are ready, make
- 19:53yourself comfortable and let's program
- 19:55the three-finger exercises for the Silva
- 19:58method three fingers
- 20:00technique. Now, prepare for this mind
- 20:02training exercise by finding a
- 20:04comfortable position.
- 20:10We will start this exercise with the 3:1
- 20:12method. Find a comfortable position.
- 20:16Close your eyes. Take a deep breath. And
- 20:19while exhaling, mentally repeat and
- 20:21visualize the number three three
- 20:29times. Take another deep breath. And
- 20:32while exhaling, mentally repeat and
- 20:34visualize the number two three
- 20:42times. Take another deep breath and
- 20:45while exhaling, mentally repeat and
- 20:47visualize the number one three times.
- 20:54You are now at level one, the basic
- 20:57plane level that you are learning to use
- 20:58for a purpose. Any purpose you
- 21:02desire to help you enter a deeper,
- 21:05healthier level of mind. I'm going to
- 21:07count from 10 to 1. On each descending
- 21:10number, you will feel yourself going
- 21:12deeper. You will enter a deeper,
- 21:14healthier level of mind.
- 21:1610 9 Feel going deeper.
- 21:208
- 21:227 6 Deeper and deeper.
- 21:265
- 21:284 3 Deeper and deeper. 2 1 You are now
- 21:34at a deeper, healthier level of mind.
- 21:36Deeper than
- 21:39before. You may enter a deeper,
- 21:42healthier level of mind by simply
- 21:44relaxing your
- 21:45eyelids. Relax your eyelids.
- 21:53Feel how relaxed they
- 22:00are. Allow this feeling of relaxation to
- 22:03flow slowly downward throughout your
- 22:05body all the way down to your toes.
- 22:25It is a wonderful feeling to be deeply
- 22:27relaxed, a very healthy state of
- 22:31being. To help you enter a deeper,
- 22:34healthier level of mind, I'm going to
- 22:36count from 1 to three. At that moment,
- 22:38you will project yourself mentally to
- 22:40your ideal place of
- 22:42relaxation. I will then stop talking to
- 22:45you. And when you next hear my voice,
- 22:47one hour of time will have elapsed at
- 22:49this level of mind. My voice will not
- 22:52startle you. It will take a deep breath,
- 22:54relax, and go deeper.
- 22:581
- 23:002 3. Project yourself mentally to your
- 23:04ideal place of relaxation until you hear
- 23:07my voice again. Relax.
- 23:42Relax. Take a deep breath. And as you
- 23:45exhale, relax and go
- 23:51deeper. You will continue to listen to
- 23:53my voice. You will continue to follow
- 23:56the instructions at this level of the
- 23:57mind and any other level including the
- 24:00outer conscious
- 24:02level. This is for your benefit. You
- 24:05desire it and it is
- 24:07so. Whenever you mentally or verbally
- 24:10mention the word
- 24:12relax. All unnecessary movements and
- 24:14activities of your body, brain and mind
- 24:17will cease immediately and you will
- 24:19become completely passive and relaxed
- 24:21physically and mentally.
- 24:24I may bring you out of this level or a
- 24:26deeper level than this by counting to
- 24:28you from 1 to five. At the count of
- 24:31five, your eyes will open. You will be
- 24:33wide awake, feeling fine, and in perfect
- 24:39health. The difference between genius
- 24:41mentality and lay mentality is that
- 24:44geniuses use more of their minds and use
- 24:47them in a special manner.
- 24:51You are now learning to use more of your
- 24:53mind and to use it in a special
- 24:59manner. The following are beneficial
- 25:02statements that you may occasionally
- 25:03repeat while at these levels of the
- 25:04mind. Repeat mentally after
- 25:07me. My increasing mental
- 25:12faculties are for serving humanity
- 25:15better.
- 25:22Every day in every
- 25:25way I am getting
- 25:27better, better and
- 25:35better. Positive
- 25:38thoughts bring me benefits and
- 25:41advantages I desire.
- 25:48I have full
- 25:50control and complete
- 25:52dominion over my sensing
- 25:56faculties at this level of the
- 25:59mind and any other
- 26:02level including the outer conscious
- 26:05level. And this is so
- 26:16The following preventive statements are
- 26:17for your better health. Keep in mind
- 26:19that from now on I will occasionally be
- 26:21speaking in your
- 26:23place. I will never learn to develop
- 26:26physically or
- 26:28mentally mental
- 26:30disorders nor psychossematic or
- 26:33functional ailments or
- 26:38diseases. I will never learn to develop
- 26:41physically or
- 26:42mentally. A dependence on drugs or
- 26:48alcohol. Negative thoughts and negative
- 26:51suggestions have no influence over me
- 26:55and any level of the
- 26:58mind. I will always maintain a perfectly
- 27:02healthy body and mind.
- 27:09mental projection statements for
- 27:11success. I am now learning to attune my
- 27:14intelligence by developing my sensing
- 27:18faculties and to project them to any
- 27:21problem
- 27:22area so as to become aware of any
- 27:26abnormalities if this is necessary and
- 27:29beneficial for humanity.
- 27:34I am now learning to apply corrective
- 27:37measures and to correct any abnormality
- 27:41I
- 27:44detect. Negative thoughts and negative
- 27:47suggestions have no influence over me at
- 27:50any level of the mind.
- 28:00We will now impress information for your
- 28:02benefit. Programming a formula type
- 28:05technique. The three-fingers
- 28:08technique. At this time, bring together
- 28:11the tips of the first two fingers and
- 28:13thumb of either
- 28:23hand. By bringing together the tips of
- 28:26the first two fingers and thumb of
- 28:28either hand, your mind adjusts to a
- 28:31deeper level of awareness for stronger
- 28:35programming. Stronger programming of
- 28:37information results in easier recall,
- 28:41producing a better
- 28:46memory. To read a lesson, enter level
- 28:49one with the use of the 3:1 method.
- 28:54Tell yourself mentally that you are
- 28:56going to count from 1 to three and at
- 28:58the count of three you will open your
- 28:59eyes and read the
- 29:01lesson. Mention the lesson title and
- 29:07subject.
- 29:09Add noises will not distract me but will
- 29:12help me to
- 29:14concentrate. I will have superior
- 29:17concentration and understanding.
- 29:22Count from 1 to three, open your eyes
- 29:25and read the
- 29:28lesson. When you have read the lesson,
- 29:31once again, enter level one with the 3:1
- 29:35method. Tell yourself
- 29:38mentally, I will recall the lesson I
- 29:40have just read. Mention the title and
- 29:42the
- 29:44subject anytime in the future with the
- 29:47use of the three-fingers technique.
- 29:54To hear a lecture, enter level one with
- 29:57the 3:1 method and tell yourself
- 29:59mentally that you are going to hear a
- 30:01lecture and mention the title, the
- 30:03subject, and the lecturer's
- 30:08name. Tell yourself that you're going to
- 30:10use the three fingers
- 30:12technique. Keep your eyes open during
- 30:14the lecture.
- 30:17Tell yourself that noises will not
- 30:19distract you but will help you to
- 30:22concentrate that you will have superior
- 30:24concentration and
- 30:26understanding and that you will recall
- 30:28the lecture. Mention the title, subject
- 30:30and lecture's name anytime in the future
- 30:34with the use of the three-fingers
- 30:39technique. For test taking with the
- 30:42three-fingers technique, follow the
- 30:44three cycle
- 30:45method. First, read your test questions
- 30:48the way you always do, but do not stay
- 30:51too long on any of
- 30:53them. If you have a ready answer, put it
- 30:56down. If not, skip that question and
- 30:59move to the next one.
- 31:04Second, use the three fingers technique
- 31:07and do as in the first cycle, but stay a
- 31:10little longer on the unanswered
- 31:12question. When an answer comes, put it
- 31:15down. If not, skip that question and
- 31:18move to the next
- 31:22one. Third, use the three-fingers
- 31:26technique. Read the unanswered question
- 31:29and if still no answer comes, close your
- 31:32eyes. Turn them slightly upward.
- 31:35Visualize or imagine your professor on
- 31:37your mental screen and ask your
- 31:39professor for the
- 31:41answer. Then clear your mind and start
- 31:45thinking again to figure out the
- 31:47answer. The answer that comes is your
- 31:51professors. Write it down. Do not turn
- 31:55in a blank paper.
- 32:01In the next session, we will program the
- 32:03mirror of the mind, a formula type
- 32:05technique that you can use for problem
- 32:08solving. Later, we will program the hand
- 32:11levitation method for entering deep
- 32:12levels of mind.
- 32:14We will program glove anesthesia for
- 32:17learning the control of physiological
- 32:19pain and in many cases control of
- 32:21bleeding and
- 32:25hemorrhaging. Every time you function at
- 32:27these levels of the mind, you will
- 32:29receive beneficial effects physically
- 32:31and
- 32:32mentally. You may use these levels of
- 32:34the mind to help yourself physically and
- 32:37mentally. You may use these levels of
- 32:39the mind to help your loved ones
- 32:40physically and mentally.
- 32:43You may use these levels of the mind to
- 32:44help any human being who needs help
- 32:46physically and
- 32:49mentally. You will never use these
- 32:51levels of the mind to harm any human
- 32:52being. If this be your intention, you
- 32:55will not be able to function within
- 32:56these levels of the
- 32:59mind. You will always use these levels
- 33:01of the mind in a constructive creative
- 33:03manner. All that is good, honest, pure,
- 33:07clean, and positive. And this is
- 33:11so you will continue to strive to take
- 33:13part in constructive and creative
- 33:16activities to make this a better world
- 33:18to live in so that when we move on we
- 33:21shall have left behind a better world
- 33:23for those who
- 33:25follow. You will consider the whole of
- 33:27humanity depending on their ages as
- 33:30fathers or mothers, brothers or sisters,
- 33:33sons or
- 33:34daughters. You are a superior human
- 33:37being. you have greater understanding,
- 33:40compassion, and patience with
- 33:45others. In a moment, I'm going to count
- 33:47from 1 to 5. At that moment, you will
- 33:50open your eyes, be wide awake, feeling
- 33:52fine and in perfect health, feeling
- 33:54better than before. You will have no ill
- 33:57effects whatsoever in your head, no
- 33:58headache, no ill effects whatsoever in
- 34:01your hearing, no buzzing in your ears,
- 34:03no ill effects whatsoever in your vision
- 34:05and eyesight. Vision, eyesight, and
- 34:08hearing improve every time you function
- 34:10at these levels of mind.
- 34:13One, two, coming out slowly now. Three.
- 34:17At the count of five, you will open your
- 34:19eyes, be wide awake, feeling fine and in
- 34:21perfect health, feeling better than
- 34:23before, feeling the way you feel when
- 34:25you have slept the right amount of
- 34:26revitalizing, refreshing, relaxing,
- 34:29healthy, wonderful
- 34:30sleep.
- 34:32Four. Five. Eyes open, wide awake,
- 34:35feeling fine and in perfect health,
- 34:38feeling better than
- 34:41before. This concludes the three fingers
- 34:44technique for the Silva method. Thank
- 34:46you.
