  1. 0:00Okay, so as usual, I was scrolling
  2. 0:02Twitter and I came across this tweet
  3. 0:03that was going viral. And what it
  4. 0:05claimed was pretty crazy. Basically,
  5. 0:07someone used clot to turn their super
  6. 0:08slow Android TV into a blazing fast TV
  7. 0:11with just a prop. And not just that, the
  8. 0:13UI looks as clean as the Apple TV UI. In
  9. 0:15fact, many of my teammates tried it on
  10. 0:17their older than God TVs with just 1 GB
  11. 0:20of RAM. And the difference was very
  12. 0:21noticeable. At first, I thought it was
  13. 0:23really cool because, let's be honest,
  14. 0:25Android TV have a lot of problems. Some
  15. 0:28get slow within a few months while
  16. 0:29others are sluggish right out of the box
  17. 0:32even in 2026. And over time, things only
  18. 0:34get worse. And to add to it, there are
  19. 0:36lots and lots of unnecessary apps. There
  20. 0:38are sponsored recommendations,
  21. 0:39background processes, and even tracking
  22. 0:41features that you do not want running on
  23. 0:43your TV. So today, I'm going to try this
  24. 0:45on few of our office TVs and show you
  25. 0:47the entire process and also tell you if
  26. 0:49there's any catch. But before that,
  27. 0:50it'll be really great if you can hit the
  28. 0:52like button from your slow TV. Now that
  29. 0:55you've done that, let's get started. So,
  30. 0:57this is one of our office TV. It's
  31. 0:59obviously pretty old. Navigating through
  32. 1:00the UI is not the smoothest experience.
  33. 1:03The home screen is just filled with the
  34. 1:04things that I just don't need, and it
  35. 1:06gets worked up even when I'm just trying
  36. 1:08to open the settings. Let's change that
  37. 1:09today with the flawed. Here's how to do
  38. 1:11it. Just bring your laptop and make sure
  39. 1:13it's on same Wi-Fi as your TV. Now, go
  40. 1:15to your TV and enable USB debugging. But
  41. 1:17here's the thing. USB debugging is not
  42. 1:19available by default. So, you have to
  43. 1:21unlock it first. And it's very simple to
  44. 1:22do. Just go to settings and to about and
  45. 1:25here press the build number seven times.
  46. 1:27It's okay if you do it more than seven
  47. 1:28but seven is the minimum. Pressing it
  48. 1:30seven times will unlock the developer
  49. 1:32options which is what we wanted. Now
  50. 1:33once again go to settings then to
  51. 1:35developer options and now turn on USB
  52. 1:37debugging. You can now leave the TV
  53. 1:39alone and go back to your laptop. First
  54. 1:40launch the claude app and then open this
  55. 1:42link called clean your TV in your
  56. 1:44browser. Now copy the prompt from the
  57. 1:45link and paste it here. The cloud will
  58. 1:47automatically find your TV. And once it
  59. 1:49does, you just have to approve the
  60. 1:50debugging connection on the TV. And
  61. 1:52that's it. Your laptop and your TV are
  62. 1:54now connected. And here's where things
  63. 1:55get very interesting. Cloud asks which
  64. 1:57apps you actually use. So it knows what
  65. 1:59to keep and what to get rid of. After
  66. 2:00you confirm, it backs up your entire TV,
  67. 2:03disables unnecessary apps and background
  68. 2:05processes, and lets you remap remote
  69. 2:07controls, install Adgard DNS, and even
  70. 2:09install a completely new launcher for
  71. 2:11your TV. It takes like 20 to 25 minutes
  72. 2:13to finish off this entire process. So
  73. 2:15during that time, you can just finish
  74. 2:16your coffee, your tea, or just keep
  75. 2:18scrolling. Totally up to you. Once it's
  76. 2:20done, you can start using the TV like
  77. 2:22before, but this time it's so much
  78. 2:24faster. The home screen is much cleaner,
  79. 2:26and navigating through the interface
  80. 2:27also feels quite smoother. In fact, this
  81. 2:29is how the TV was behaving before. And
  82. 2:31this is how it's working now. Honestly,
  83. 2:33quite a big improvement. And you know
  84. 2:35what the best part is? All of it is done
  85. 2:37with just a single prompt. So, you don't
  86. 2:39really have to be a techie or don't even
  87. 2:40have to know the coding. Literally,
  88. 2:42anyone can do it. This is what I call AI
  89. 2:45for the good. And by the way, if you
  90. 2:46don't like the look of your TV, you can
  91. 2:48also change it. You can just ask Claude
  92. 2:50to customize the interface however you
  93. 2:51want. For example, I asked Claude to add
  94. 2:53a tile that shows RAM and storage usage,
  95. 2:56customize the wallpaper options, and
  96. 2:57even add a name on it. Even after all
  97. 2:59these additions, the launcher used just
  98. 3:0133 MB of RAM. So yeah, it's quite
  99. 3:03lightweight. And it's not just this TV.
  100. 3:05We tried this on multiple TVs in our
  101. 3:07office, and the difference was quite big
  102. 3:08on all of them. As for the creator of
  103. 3:10this tool, this trick has been tested in
  104. 3:12over 200 TV models from 69 different
  105. 3:14brands and it works every single time.
  106. 3:16Of course, we have to be careful when
  107. 3:18disabling system apps because disabling
  108. 3:20the wrong app might break things. But
  109. 3:21the good thing is Claude does take a
  110. 3:23backup of everything and if you mess up,
  111. 3:25you can just undo the changes with just
  112. 3:27another prompt. Now, I use Claude code
  113. 3:28with Cloud Pro subscription which made
  114. 3:30the entire process pretty seamless. But
  115. 3:32just so you know, this will work even
  116. 3:34with the free model. It's just that you
  117. 3:35will have to put a bit more work from
  118. 3:37your side. And if you're wondering
  119. 3:38whether this will work with other AI
  120. 3:39models, well, yeah, it will. So, if you
  121. 3:41have paid version of Chad GPT or maybe
  122. 3:43Gemini, it will work with that as well.
  123. 3:45By the way, I will leave all the links
  124. 3:47in the description along with the prompt
  125. 3:48and guide so you can easily do it all on
  126. 3:50your TV. So, yeah, that's it for this
  127. 3:52video. I really hope you found it
  128. 3:53useful. If you did, please press that
  129. 3:55like button. It really means a lot. And
  130. 3:57if you have an old TV sitting at your
  131. 3:58home, just give this trick a try. It'll
  132. 4:00definitely work. And if you already
  133. 4:02tried this trick, tell us about your
  134. 4:03experience in the comments. Thank you
  135. 4:05for watching and I'll see you in the
  136. 4:06next
