- 0:00anchor support slayer and probably the
- 0:02most frowned upon position
- 0:05j these are the four main roles you can
- 0:07play in competitive cod mobile and today
- 0:09we are going to learn how to do each
- 0:11role effectively one thing a pro team
- 0:13must know how to do is to manipulate
- 0:15spawns the anchor player's job is to
- 0:17make sure their team gets the best
- 0:19spawns for the team depending on the
- 0:20location of the current or next
- 0:22hardpoint hill it's the player that you
- 0:24usually see alone holding down an area
- 0:26usually a spawn point which makes him
- 0:28and his team respawn there so they have
- 0:30the advantage when engaging in gunfights
- 0:32to defend the current hardpoint how do
- 0:34you do it it's pretty simple if you
- 0:36watch pro scrims or tournaments whenever
- 0:38there's 15 seconds left in the current
- 0:41hardpoint you'll see at least one guy
- 0:43lurking to the next point and securing
- 0:45spawns why that way if his teammates
- 0:48lose gunfights in the current hill they
- 0:50have the chance to spawn near the next
- 0:52hill securing positions instead of
- 0:54having to break off enemy defenses some
- 0:56maps are tricky to do anchoring alone so
- 0:59maybe you'll ask support players to
- 1:00accompany you on the way to the next
- 1:02hill if you thought of going to the next
- 1:04point early there's a good chance that
- 1:06the enemy team would wanna secure spawns
- 1:09for next two so having a buddy to trade
- 1:11for in case their anchor player has the
- 1:13same idea is good so you can have the
- 1:15advantage for the next hill you can also
- 1:17do this in ranked matches you just
- 1:19respawn and you notice that there's less
- 1:21than 20 seconds on the current hill
- 1:23don't make another push rotate early and
- 1:26secure the more favorable spawns for the
- 1:28next point you'd want the enemy team to
- 1:30spawn as far as possible so you could
- 1:32have the time to set up and get the
- 1:34points once the new hill starts on your
- 1:36way to the new hill you might want to
- 1:37stay cautious and pre-aim your way as
- 1:40well as walk instead of run if you
- 1:41suspect enemies are smart to rotate
- 1:44early just like you you also need to
- 1:46know how to hold your own in case the
- 1:48enemy team starts to rotate first
- 1:51memorize the spawns and lanes in each
- 1:53map so you can utilize power positions
- 1:55that will give you the advantage if they
- 1:57decide to engage you a typical loadout
- 1:59would be a weapon that's good for range
- 2:01with flak jacket or lightweight combined
- 2:03with toughness or quick fix with that
- 2:06silence or hardline you can use any
- 2:08lethal equipment you want just make sure
- 2:09you got a trophy system to defend
- 2:11yourself against a barrage of grenades
- 2:13coming your way i called obj probably
- 2:16the most frowned upon position because
- 2:18when people think obj they automatically
- 2:20think that you sit in the hill sit in a
- 2:23corner and chill until the next hill
- 2:25nope it's not that an objective player's
- 2:27job is to win gunfights in the hill and
- 2:29stay alive while on the objective you
- 2:31may think it's the easiest job to do but
- 2:34it's one of the more important ones that
- 2:35you really need to do well because at
- 2:37the end of the day you need points to
- 2:39win the game here's how you do it do it
- 2:41with a teammate or a friend and enter a
- 2:43private match on a map you want to learn
- 2:46today we'll look at standoff go to each
- 2:48point and learn where all enemies might
- 2:50come out of have the muscle memory to
- 2:52flick to each as well as the best angle
- 2:54you can peek at those lanes know where
- 2:56you can position yourself depending on
- 2:58where your teammates spawn you also have
- 3:01to know how to deal with enemies inside
- 3:03the point know the best angles and head
- 3:05glitches you can peek at when enemies
- 3:07decide to challenge you not only that
- 3:09you also need to know how to catch them
- 3:11off guard as they are entering an
- 3:12attempt to break the hardpoint the best
- 3:15obj players don't sit inside a hill and
- 3:17do nothing they eliminate enemies
- 3:19whether they're inside or out in
- 3:21domination you'll often see them
- 3:23initiating the capture then hold a power
- 3:25position if a flag is in their team's
- 3:28position and try to keep enemies from
- 3:30stepping foot on the objective you'll be
- 3:32encountering enemies in close medium and
- 3:34even long range so you might want to
- 3:36pick a more versatile weapon the rest of
- 3:38the loadout will be almost the same as
- 3:40the anchor player utilizing trophy
- 3:42systems to defend yourself and use
- 3:44bricks such as black jacket quick fix
- 3:46and dead silence you can use hardline
- 3:48but being on the obj already gives you
- 3:50more points so you can utilize dead
- 3:52silence to surprise enemies let's look
- 3:55at everyone's dream role slayer role is
- 3:57usually given to the team's best player
- 3:59when it comes to racking up kills and
- 4:01has the freedom to roam the map and cut
- 4:03off lanes in the most unpredictable ways
- 4:05possible in short the slayer's job is to
- 4:08be annoying killing enemies is pretty
- 4:10straightforward right but here's how you
- 4:12can play like a slayer first look at the
- 4:15map in a game at any given time you need
- 4:17to know where enemies might make their
- 4:19way through depending on where they
- 4:21might spawn then you pick your choke
- 4:23points these are areas where you can
- 4:24come out of nowhere and send enemies
- 4:26back to their spawn learn how to take
- 4:28the most advantage out of these spawns
- 4:30how you can be unpredictable and how you
- 4:32can outmaneuver enemies if they try to
- 4:34eliminate you put yourself in the most
- 4:36engagements possible and do everything
- 4:39in your power to delay their push if
- 4:41you're defending a hill or a flag if
- 4:43your team needs to break or retake you
- 4:45might do the entry and create openings
- 4:47for your team because you're the most
- 4:49talented at eliminating anyone who gets
- 4:51in your way you'll have to have the best
- 4:53movement and the best gun skill in your
- 4:55team not only that but in order to be an
- 4:58effective slayer you have to play
- 4:59according to what your team needs to do
- 5:01the typical slayer loadout usually
- 5:03consists of the best weapon in the game
- 5:05with lightweight quick fix and dead
- 5:07silence have the best lethal equipment
- 5:09you can use along with a smoke or
- 5:11concussion grenade as your tactical
- 5:13equipment next up the support player if
- 5:16you support players as the guys who fill
- 5:17in the gaps of the team basically they
- 5:19need to have an understanding of the
- 5:21three previous roles we just mentioned
- 5:23and make their lives easier they are
- 5:25usually paired with the objective player
- 5:27and when it comes to supporting obj they
- 5:29might stay inside the objective hold
- 5:31lanes or power positions to make their
- 5:33job easier they can also support the
- 5:35anchor player serving as a buddy and get
- 5:37the trade if ever one of them gets
- 5:39eliminated lastly they can step in and
- 5:41fulfill the slayer rule for just a bit
- 5:43or hold down the fourth and make sure
- 5:45the team still has control of the map
- 5:47before the slayer can respawn and regain
- 5:49precision support players are usually
- 5:51overlooked because when you look at the
- 5:53scoreboard they are usually in the
- 5:54middle or at the bottom of the
- 5:56scoreboards but they are essentially
- 5:58what keeps the team effective whenever
- 6:00one of the three main roles gets taken
- 6:02out a loadout they usually use can be
- 6:04similar to any of the three previous
- 6:06roles depending on their specialty or
- 6:08what the team needs so use the best
- 6:10weapon in the game and have the best
- 6:12lethal you can use with smoke grenade
- 6:14equipped use lightweight or flak jacket
- 6:17quick fix or toughness with dead silence
- 6:19or hardline as your perks in harmony
- 6:22you'll see the obj holding down
- 6:23hardpoint hills capturing flags slayers
- 6:26annoying the enemy team anchor rotating
- 6:28early to secure spawns and support
- 6:30players filling in the gap but who
- 6:32directs the team in game but it's none
- 6:35other than the in-game leader the igl
- 6:38should be the smartest guy in the team
- 6:39and is usually the one calling the shots
- 6:41and giving out orders in the game he
- 6:43knows how an enemy team behaves and
- 6:45thinks multiple steps ahead to put his
- 6:47own team in the best position to win
- 6:49games not only that the igl is also the
- 6:52one that keeps the team's composure
- 6:54making sure that everyone is playing at
- 6:55their best and boosting morale whenever
- 6:57needed if you're the most experienced
- 6:59player in your team you might want to
- 7:01take the role of igl because of multiple
- 7:03reasons because you have faced more pro
- 7:06teams than your teammates you should
- 7:07have the ability to develop strategies
- 7:10and see plays before they even happen at
- 7:12a macro level you should also be the
- 7:14most mature among your teammates and
- 7:16keep them level-headed whether you're
- 7:17winning or losing games the igl is
- 7:20basically the one that steers a team
- 7:22into the right direction and can be the
- 7:24difference between a team that's working
- 7:25together versus a team that will look
- 7:27lost against the best teams in the game
- 7:30which position are you looking to play
