- 0:02Hey everyone, Geio Physicist Safon Burns
- 0:04here reporting for you live on what is
- 0:07happening right now in Indonesia which
- 0:10is home to some of the largest and
- 0:14deadliest volcanoes in the world and
- 0:18well uh that includes Toba. You may know
- 0:21of Toba super volcano.
- 0:25We have good evidence that the eruption
- 0:27of this about 65,000 years ago created a
- 0:31human bottleneck and almost wiped out
- 0:34the human race, other species, Neanderls
- 0:38as well. It was very devastating. Well,
- 0:40we've just had the eruption of Crakatau
- 0:43volcano,
- 0:45often known by many people as Crakatoa.
- 0:48Now it's Anac Crakatau, the child of
- 0:52Krakatoa, but we can just call it
- 0:54Crakatoa. Crakatau gets the point
- 0:57across. This was back on the 4th and 5th
- 1:00of September. Lava fountains to 5,000
- 1:04ft. That is about a mile up. So, this
- 1:08was a gigantic eruption sent off a bunch
- 1:12of ash into the atmosphere. And well
- 1:16that rained down across the area and
- 1:19caused quite a lot of problems, flight
- 1:22delays, health problems, and more. Now,
- 1:24Krakatoa is famous for its eruption in
- 1:271883
- 1:28where it just violently exploded, killed
- 1:31more than 30,000 people. There was one
- 1:34town in particular, just read about this
- 1:36today, where the ash came down, it was
- 1:38searing hot, thousand people gone. So,
- 1:42you know, I it gets a little gruesome,
- 1:44but these volcanoes are serious
- 1:48business. Of course, we have more than
- 1:49just these two in Indonesia. We can also
- 1:52go over here to Mount Tambbora. And you
- 1:55may know of Mount Tambora for having
- 1:57erupted in 1815, triggering the year
- 2:00without a summer.
- 2:03So we have two of the last biggest
- 2:07eruptions right here next to each other
- 2:09in Indonesia with Krakatau in 1883 in
- 2:13Mount Tambbor in 1815.
- 2:16Toba being a super volcano does not
- 2:18erupt as frequently but the reason why
- 2:20there is a lake there is because well
- 2:22the whole thing exploded.
- 2:25So Indonesia has many other active
- 2:27volcanoes. These are probably the three
- 2:31big ones, but there are others as well.
- 2:33We've been seeing a lot of volcanic
- 2:34activity actually. It's quite notable
- 2:36across uh this part of the globe with
- 2:39Indonesia, the Philippines, but really
- 2:43those two countries have been
- 2:45exceptionally active. The Ring of Fire,
- 2:47Eastern Pacific has been uh or sorry,
- 2:50Western Pacific has been exceptionally
- 2:52active. Well, let me show you the
- 2:54earthquake activity that we've had just
- 2:56this year. Okay, 2026. So, let me turn
- 2:58this on. Boom.
- 3:01Look at the pattern that we see. We see
- 3:04a big earthquake magnitude 6.5 that
- 3:08struck just a week after this big
- 3:12eruption at Anac Krakattow right here,
- 3:14right outside deep earthquake, deep
- 3:16focus 340 kilometers down.
- 3:20So that's interesting that after this
- 3:23very significant eruption, largest since
- 3:252018, some people are even saying it's
- 3:27the largest since 1883. I I'm not
- 3:30exactly sure about that, but generally a
- 3:32big notable eruption, the biggest of
- 3:352026. Um, we have a week later a deep
- 3:39magnitude 6.5. And this very well could
- 3:42be connected into the whole magma
- 3:44plumbing system of a nacraattow. Either
- 3:47that could be a melt pulse like a pulse
- 3:50of melt of magma coming up from the
- 3:53mantle or that could have been a conduit
- 3:55collapsing.
- 3:57It's also possible that they're
- 3:58completely unrelated, but I don't think
- 4:00so because we see this connection
- 4:02between earthquakes and volcanoes. And
- 4:04when the timing is just one week after
- 4:06the most significant eruption and it's a
- 4:08deep focus, which is an unusual
- 4:09earthquake to begin with, then you know
- 4:12something is up. Okay. Well, look here.
- 4:15Toba super volcano. Okay,
- 4:18look at that. There's a magnitude 6.9
- 4:20that struck just outside Toba. Also
- 4:23pretty deep. That's an intermediate
- 4:24depth earthquake. Actually, those are
- 4:26some of the most rare um 175 kilometers
- 4:30down that occurred less than a month
- 4:32ago. Okay. one day before that
- 4:37uh we had over here that was actually on
- 4:40the um depends on your time zone but
- 4:42basically less than 48 hours after just
- 4:46before that we had this magnitude 7.8
- 4:49that struck initially came in as a 7.7
- 4:53it was at a 7.7 classification for quite
- 4:57a long time I just checked the data
- 4:58again now it's at a 7.8 8. So, they
- 5:00reviewed it, they bumped it up. Uh, this
- 5:03originally came in as a 6.6 and it took
- 5:06them some time to to reclassify that as
- 5:09a 6.5. Look how close Mount Tambbora is
- 5:13to the location of the 7.8. And also
- 5:16consider how much stronger a magnitude
- 5:187.8 is. It basically blasted a shock
- 5:21wave all across Indonesia, up, down,
- 5:24around everything. We also had the 7.8 8
- 5:28that struck the Philippines here,
- 5:30southern part on the 7th of June.
- 5:33Basically getting this whole party
- 5:35started. We had some other notable
- 5:37earthquakes that we'll talk more about
- 5:39uh as well. But this one here being
- 5:41unusual because of how deep it is uh 630
- 5:44km down on the 22nd of February in a
- 5:48location that's never seen a deep
- 5:50earthquake. So effectively we are seeing
- 5:53some pretty significant changes occur
- 5:55here with the upper mantle and with the
- 5:59lower athenosphere because when you're
- 6:01in that 630 km range you're in the upper
- 6:03mantle and then we see these other big
- 6:07earthquakes right next to the biggest
- 6:11volcanoes in Indonesia which are some of
- 6:13the world's deadliest.
- 6:15So um
- 6:18basically Krakatoa it's already its own
- 6:21story in terms of how this eruption at
- 6:23Krakatoa
- 6:25could get worse. Here we see what's
- 6:27happening now. This is recent footage
- 6:29after the big eruption on the fourth and
- 6:32fifth. And because it's still been
- 6:34erupting ash plumes to 3 kilometers, ash
- 6:36plumes of 5 kilometers, not 15 km like
- 6:39the initial eruption that launched it
- 6:41into the stratosphere. And in fact, on
- 6:43my flight back from Maui to San Diego
- 6:47yesterday, I think I saw some of that
- 6:49ash up there. I think we flew by it. Uh,
- 6:52pretty wild, but it's still going. So,
- 6:55there's actually been a little bit of
- 6:57growth on that central volcano because
- 7:00you can see if I really zoom in here,
- 7:03you can see the how the entire thing was
- 7:06basically exploded, right? That's 1883.
- 7:09This used to be one island. the whole
- 7:11thing exploded. There's been a little
- 7:13bit of growth now from this uh recent
- 7:15eruption for this central part. So, let
- 7:19me show you this ash from my flight in
- 7:22San Diego. Uh I did my best to get it in
- 7:25focus, but this is very unusual. We saw
- 7:28all the clouds uh around it looking
- 7:31totally normal and then there's this
- 7:33clear, very long trail of just dark.
- 7:38I mean, I guess it could be dark clouds,
- 7:41but basically, I think it's really like
- 7:43dark clouds that have the ash mixed in
- 7:45from Crakatoa. That's what it seems to
- 7:47me. Uh because we can also look at a
- 7:50different photo I took here just to get
- 7:53a time comparison a little bit later. We
- 7:55see that these clouds, the resolution is
- 7:57low. Uh but these clouds still showing
- 8:00up very dark and the other ones taking
- 8:02on those uh pinkish and orang-ish hues.
- 8:07So I can't definitively say that that's
- 8:10ash from Crakatoa, but it's soon enough
- 8:12after that eruption and I was also going
- 8:14from Hawaii to California and so that's,
- 8:17you know, it's all in the Pacific
- 8:18theater, you could say. I think it is
- 8:21because it's just so bizarre when you
- 8:23look at it. Uh it very clearly stands
- 8:26out. So, we've been having some really,
- 8:28really, really big volcanic eruptions
- 8:31and uh this very likely could continue
- 8:34because what we're seeing is a pattern
- 8:38with our earthquake activity and also
- 8:41just in general a geometric pattern with
- 8:44these volcanoes. Look at how we have
- 8:46this perfect equidistant relationship
- 8:48between these volcanoes here. Pretty
- 8:50interesting. So, there's and this is all
- 8:52right along this major seduction trench,
- 8:54right? No surprise that we get big
- 8:58volcanoes on this huge subduction trench
- 9:01here and also we get huge uh earthquakes
- 9:04in this area and now we're seeing this
- 9:07larger widespread activation with this
- 9:10uh plate here. So, there's different
- 9:13plates of the crust and they move and
- 9:15everything. And if we're seeing changes
- 9:17to the mantle,
- 9:19uh maybe it's just a little bit more
- 9:22fluid, a little bit more melty, and
- 9:24therefore pushing up strongly, the
- 9:26plates are able to glide a little
- 9:28easier. Everything could start to go
- 9:29off. Earthquakes, volcanoes, and more. I
- 9:32think Krakatau here could be just the
- 9:35first of perhaps a sequence of volcanic
- 9:38eruptions to occur. I've been discussing
- 9:40the possibility
- 9:42of big volcanic eruptions striking in
- 9:46the years ahead because of a variety of
- 9:48factors. Earth geohysical factors,
- 9:51geological factors, space weather
- 9:52factors, solar activity factors. The
- 9:55next two years are really quite critical
- 9:56critical for this. As we go into solar
- 9:58minimum and then to solar cycle 26, we
- 10:01generally see more volcanic activity
- 10:03during the descending and minimum phases
- 10:06of a solar cycle. So, if this is what
- 10:08we're seeing already and we're not, you
- 10:10know, we're like two, three years away
- 10:12from solar minimum, maybe we could get
- 10:14something a lot bigger. Uh, that is a
- 10:17concern. So, hello and welcome everyone.
- 10:19I'm yours Burns, geologist, geohysicist,
- 10:22space weatherman. And let us get right
- 10:25into it. Quick reminder though before uh
- 10:28we go any further. I do have a sale
- 10:31right now going on the website. This is
- 10:33earthevolution.com/store.
- 10:35Also, we're going to be building out our
- 10:36data analytics page quite a bit more.
- 10:39Um, so get ready for that. Some cool new
- 10:41apps are coming your way. That's really
- 10:43going to be quite a step above over uh
- 10:46the general web apps people use to track
- 10:48what's happening with the Earth, the
- 10:50sun, and more. So, I'm really excited to
- 10:51offer that to you guys. But, as you can
- 10:53see, there's different data feeds here
- 10:54that you can check out. Uh, one place to
- 10:56do it rather than having search all
- 10:57around, that's
- 10:58earthvolution.com/energy-analytics.
- 11:01or you can just go to the store if you
- 11:03want to check out this sale and uh we
- 11:05have all a lot of products in stock. So
- 11:07this is earthrevolution.comstore.
- 11:10The code is birthday15 all one word for
- 11:1315% off. We have all organic herbal tea
- 11:15blends u made and mixed in house. My dad
- 11:18and I, we pack, we ship, we do the whole
- 11:21deal. Uh with attention to detail,
- 11:23quality is no mistake. A whole bunch of
- 11:25other really high quality products here
- 11:27for you. The authentic blue lotus
- 11:29flowers are in stock. the real deal.
- 11:32Most people call blue lotus flower um
- 11:35something else. This is the real stuff
- 11:37right here. So, we have uh that in stock
- 11:40ready for you.
- 11:42And uh yeah, check this out. It's
- 11:44birthday 15 for 15% off. We don't often
- 11:47have sales at this level. We do have
- 11:51sales uh maybe once a month, once every
- 11:54two months. Uh because this is already
- 11:56priced pretty fairly, but because of the
- 11:59special occasion, well, 15% off using
- 12:01the code birthday 15 at checkout going
- 12:04to lasting about another two days or so.
- 12:07So, expires on the 14th. So, if you
- 12:10haven't bought something, pick it up
- 12:11now. American USA uh orders only. So,
- 12:17here we see our latest earthquakes for
- 12:19the past week. And we see this magnitude
- 12:226.5 that popped off here. And this is
- 12:25just north of Jakarta. So when I first
- 12:28saw this, I I focus on the fact that it
- 12:30is a deep focus earthquake. And you can
- 12:33see that this is the largest earthquake
- 12:35of the entire last seven days. Um I
- 12:39really was like, oh wow, deep focus 372
- 12:42km down. That's interesting. Then I
- 12:45noticed the proximity of Jakarta, the
- 12:47met metropolitan area here is like 40
- 12:50million people. So this being a major
- 12:53subduction trench, this could easily at
- 12:57some point, you know, it's happened
- 12:58geologically. It's going to happen again
- 13:00in the future. Who knows when you could
- 13:02get a magnitude 9 to pop off anywhere
- 13:04along this subduction trench basically.
- 13:07And if one hit right under Jakarta, it
- 13:09would be really bad news. Uh but the
- 13:12thing is it's already basically bad news
- 13:16because we have crack right here. Now
- 13:19the big question the big question is
- 13:22okay was that eruption a week ago on the
- 13:244th and 5th of September 2026 was that
- 13:27just like the big discharge and that's
- 13:30all she wrote and we're good or is that
- 13:33a preliminary eruption for something
- 13:35much bigger? again, lava fountains going
- 13:39up to uh basically 5,000 feet, like
- 13:43gigantic eruption. Ash plume up into the
- 13:46stratosphere.
- 13:48Um ash falling all around is a big deal.
- 13:52So that's kind of the we don't know. I
- 13:56mean, here's the before and after. I'll
- 13:58turn myself off here. This is the after
- 14:00on the 9th of the 11th of September.
- 14:03Here's the 30th of August. And you see
- 14:05that central little island has actually
- 14:07grown a little bit unlike in 2018 where
- 14:10there was a collapse and then a tsunami
- 14:12which uh was deadly for I think a few
- 14:15dozen people.
- 14:17So we are seeing growth out of this and
- 14:19honestly it seems to me that this could
- 14:21be the beginning of a new phase of
- 14:23eruptive activity for Krakatau uh
- 14:26because it's still been erupting
- 14:27afterwards and then we had this 6.5.
- 14:32So again mo you know a lot of people
- 14:35some geologists whatever they're going
- 14:37to say they're totally unrelated but uh
- 14:39let us consider for example how this
- 14:43year in 2026 we had two deep focus
- 14:48quakes strike Italy that were magnitude
- 14:516 and 6.1 we had 6.2 a whole sequence um
- 14:57one of those the 6.0 Z I believe was
- 15:00directly under Campy Play, Italy's super
- 15:02volcano and well that then I think
- 15:06actually I have it up on the the next
- 15:08slide right here though maybe I drew a
- 15:11map area. No. Okay, so I can just show
- 15:13you this directly. So look at this one.
- 15:16Here's this magnitude 6 that struck
- 15:18under camp for gray. I mean campray is
- 15:21here. Okay. And this 6.0 zero is there,
- 15:26but again it's 375 kilometers down.
- 15:29Notice how they're similar in depth,
- 15:32right? There's different geologic layers
- 15:34at different depths. So the the depth
- 15:37here is very very similar, which is
- 15:39interesting. We have to go to our our
- 15:416.5 here uh to see this guy 372 km.
- 15:47Okay, almost the same depth. Well, that
- 15:50was back uh on the
- 15:549th of March. And then it was only a few
- 15:57months later,
- 15:59only a few months later that we had a
- 16:01magnitude 4.7 earthquake strike camping
- 16:05for gray, which is the largest
- 16:06earthquake ever recorded. It was right
- 16:08in that super volcano system.
- 16:11And it has a weak lid. And basically, I
- 16:15mean, Campy Fra could go at any time. So
- 16:19that that's a clear example of how often
- 16:21these deep focus earthquakes precede
- 16:24largecale volcanic activity. We can just
- 16:26simply go back over here
- 16:29um to this guy, our 7.1 that struck on
- 16:33the 22nd of February, 629 km down,
- 16:37preceding the shallower but still deep
- 16:40earthquakes have occurred all around.
- 16:41This guy here 175 kilometers down.
- 16:43That's the one right outside Toba. You
- 16:46know, you think of super volcano, it's
- 16:48connected all the way to the mantle. You
- 16:50have to for there to be a volcano that
- 16:53big, it needs extensive magma plumbing
- 16:57going straight into the main source,
- 16:59baby. Like it it has to connect in. Um
- 17:03so here, this 6.5 372 km down. Smaller
- 17:07than the actually well bigger than the
- 17:086.0 that struck Italy. Smaller than the
- 17:127.8 which just rattled everything. uh
- 17:15back on the 14th of August and then we
- 17:18also had this magnitude 7.8 there in the
- 17:20Philippines just a couple months before.
- 17:22But this guy here, if you look at the
- 17:24record, there's no record of there being
- 17:26a magnitude 7 that deep in this zone.
- 17:30And actually just in general, the
- 17:31magnitude 7 activity or plus is
- 17:35deficient right in this zone. You have
- 17:36some like kind of clustered around which
- 17:39makes sense closer to the plate
- 17:41boundaries. So interesting that you have
- 17:43that right in the center of this plate.
- 17:48Uh and you also have this this pattern
- 17:50that exists. So if we go back here,
- 17:54if I turn off I'm going to turn off the
- 17:56uh the different markers so we can see
- 17:58this a little better. Okay. But you're
- 18:01going to see this pretty clearly here.
- 18:03I'll put our measuring tool right here
- 18:07on Crackatau.
- 18:09And look at this nice pattern that
- 18:11exists. See this fan kind of sweeping
- 18:13across? There's a little bit of variance
- 18:15of course in the length of this. But
- 18:18we're seeing like a really clear pattern
- 18:20here. So here we see the distance from
- 18:23Krakattow to this uh earthquake and
- 18:26let's also just call it Toba in general
- 18:281,200 km. You go over here to Tambbora
- 18:31that's 1,400 km. So not much distance
- 18:35between uh and it's fairly equivalent
- 18:37about 1300 km average between Tambbora,
- 18:40Crakatau and Toba. So of this regular
- 18:43pacing which is interesting. If you go
- 18:46here it's 1780 kilometers from the from
- 18:50Krakatau to that 7.8. Uh then 1740
- 18:55km from Krakatau to 6.7 which struck uh
- 18:59north Sului here which is where we just
- 19:02had a freak meteor fly over and explode
- 19:07yesterday. So we'll check that out in
- 19:09just a little bit. Uh but often, you
- 19:12know, when you get these meteors to come
- 19:13in and like sonic booms, they're really
- 19:15just like messengers from the cosmos and
- 19:17like a hey, time to wake up. I mean, we
- 19:20got huge earthquakes, huge volcanic
- 19:22eruptions. We're getting meteors to
- 19:24explode over Indonesia. There's
- 19:26something happening here. At at some
- 19:27point, you just got to call it. And
- 19:30that's what's happening. Uh here we see
- 19:32the distance of 1880 kilometers. So, you
- 19:34see that they form a fairly regular
- 19:36sweep across here. There's other ma like
- 19:39lower magnitude sixes in that data uh
- 19:42that we can look at, but these are the
- 19:44largest most significant earthquakes and
- 19:45they form this clear trend. Here we go
- 19:47to the 7.4, 4 which struck the 1st of
- 19:50April that's 2400 km and the 7.8 is 2500
- 19:54km. So they're also fairly equivalent in
- 19:57their distance from that central uh node
- 20:01there looks like of Krakatau which is
- 20:03the volcano that has erupted. We haven't
- 20:05seen something from Tambbora. We haven't
- 20:08seen something from Toba in this recent
- 20:10time frame. Uh but we can see what it
- 20:14could look like uh with this
- 20:18uh graphic here. So let's check this
- 20:21out.
- 20:23Here is a comparison graphic. So we have
- 20:26Krakattow 1883.
- 20:30This number here is dry rock equivalent
- 20:33volume. So it's blasting up ash and that
- 20:36ash eventually solidifies into different
- 20:39layers. And so you can take the what's
- 20:42known as dry rock equivalent of that
- 20:44ash. And for crackatoa it's like 16 to
- 20:4820 cubic kilm. So it's a you know think
- 20:51of take a a kilometer in cubit like a
- 20:55nice perfect cube. Imagine you're like
- 20:56in an open vista. You see this giant
- 20:59stone square just sitting there a
- 21:01kilometer across. Uh make that 16 or 20
- 21:05of those. Okay. That was 1883. Largest
- 21:08sound ever heard. blew out people's
- 21:09eardrums again very very destructive
- 21:12right near Jakarta so you if you were
- 21:14just to have something similar to that
- 21:15VEI6 eruption from Crackatau
- 21:18that'd be very bad for 40 million people
- 21:20in the metropolitan area of Jakarta and
- 21:22then that's of course there's everyone
- 21:24else nearby too there's a lot of people
- 21:26in Indonesia it's one of the most
- 21:27populous countries in the world Tambbora
- 21:301815 they estimate that to be like a 100
- 21:33or sorry uh 80 to 100 cubic kilometers
- 21:36that's like getting close to a VEI7 the
- 21:39lower boundary of a VEI7 eruption and
- 21:42then Toba 75,000 years ago. So sorry I
- 21:45said 65 75,000 years ago and this was an
- 21:49absolute monster near 3,000 cubic
- 21:52kilometers. So I mean that is just an
- 21:54apocalypse basically and that's why
- 21:56there could be a human bottleneck
- 21:57because conditions were so rough for so
- 21:59long not just a year or two we're
- 22:01talking decades afterwards. Um, I mean
- 22:05that's probably like a 100, 200, 300
- 22:07plus year climate shift that follows at
- 22:09least. So massive, massive changes that
- 22:13we had to migrate. I'm sure humans in
- 22:15Africa and everywhere uh had to move to
- 22:18get supplies, food, resources, and more.
- 22:21And well, that human bottleneck is a
- 22:23testament to just how much mother earth
- 22:26can affect us should she choose. And
- 22:29well, one reason I'm reporting on this
- 22:31for you is because we've been seeing an
- 22:34exceptional amount of control from
- 22:38uh the Earth as it relates to volcanic
- 22:40activity. We're seeing the
- 22:42synchronization again, as I mentioned,
- 22:44between the earthquakes and the
- 22:45volcanoes. But check out what's
- 22:47happening right now at Kiloa volcano on
- 22:49the big island of Hawaii. Okay. Uh we've
- 22:52had a huge amount of eruptions here. I
- 22:55think we're coming up on episode 55. Uh
- 22:59that will be soon. So that is that's
- 23:02happening. But it was supposed to
- 23:04actually happen a few days ago. Here's
- 23:05an overflow event. There's been dozens
- 23:07and dozens of these overflows now over
- 23:09the past few days. But we can go to our
- 23:12tilt data which really shows us what's
- 23:14happening with this volcano.
- 23:17And you notice our past week, look at
- 23:19how it charged right up to about its
- 23:21eruption threshold.
- 23:23Instead, it stayed steady. Now, it's
- 23:26right there. That's why it's been
- 23:27overflowing like this cuz it's right
- 23:29there filled up, but it hasn't released.
- 23:32And the odd thing about that, we can see
- 23:34how this looks in comparison to the
- 23:36prior eruptions. And we've seen these
- 23:38deflationary episodes, and then it would
- 23:40surge up and erupt almost like it
- 23:42couldn't stop itself. You know,
- 23:43deflation, surge up, and erupt. Same
- 23:45thing here. Each one very clear. Well,
- 23:48this eruption has been different. and it
- 23:51had this deflation very early on where
- 23:53all the others charge up very quickly.
- 23:55Had a little bit of pause there. Now
- 23:56it's having this very long duration
- 23:58pause. We don't see anything like that
- 23:59in the record. Here it is right here.
- 24:02You see some similar activity there
- 24:04before in February, but it wasn't as
- 24:06precise. Uh the Hawaiians believe in a
- 24:09goddess known as Ple, the the lava
- 24:12goddess, the volcano goddess. She
- 24:14traveled from Indonesia in those Pacific
- 24:17Isles to then reside at Kilawea. And so
- 24:21there's the spirit of Ple according to
- 24:24the Hawaiians. A lot of people believe
- 24:25in this. And I mean I personally have
- 24:28being there checking out Kiloa like she
- 24:31she synchronizes her eruptions with
- 24:33clear events. The last eruption was
- 24:36synchronized with the anniversary of
- 24:37Volcano's National Park which is
- 24:40interesting. you know, the caretakers of
- 24:42of the area, the National Park Service.
- 24:45All the other eruptions going back like
- 24:46seven have been synchronized with the
- 24:48full moon, the new moon. And in general
- 24:50with uh the historic activity of Kiloa,
- 24:52we see that there is a pre preferential
- 24:54synchronization with those tidal peaks
- 24:57because of, you know, new moons and full
- 24:58moons are tidal peaks. Well, uh we are
- 25:01just now exiting our new moon period.
- 25:04So, if she starts to erupt now, she'll
- 25:07still be synchronized with the new moon.
- 25:09Uh but this in my mind is showing an
- 25:11incredible level of precision and
- 25:15control by the earth as it relates to
- 25:19volcanic activity because it took it
- 25:20right there to eruption level and now
- 25:23has been holding it precisely. And you
- 25:26can't forget that uh Hawaii
- 25:30in the Big Island is connected into one
- 25:34of the world's largest hotspots if not
- 25:37the world's largest hot spot. And this
- 25:38in many ways is the world's largest
- 25:40volcano. The only reason it doesn't
- 25:42really go kaboom is because the the the
- 25:45magma that's coming up from depth is
- 25:47very very basaltic. It's very, you could
- 25:50say thin. It runs out easily. It's it's
- 25:53not sticky. So basically it comes up and
- 25:55runs out. So uh this is one of the
- 25:59premier places on the globe to look for
- 26:04signs of what's happening in the deep
- 26:07earth. And we're seeing this incredible
- 26:09level of precision and control right
- 26:11now, which gives me some, you know,
- 26:13gives me a feeling that there's there's
- 26:15something to this. Now, if we go back to
- 26:18that that tilt data, okay, um right
- 26:21here,
- 26:23right, right when it peaked up, this
- 26:26being the 7th of September, that's when
- 26:30we had Hurricane Lao rage over Kauaii
- 26:34and also Nihow, that category 2 status.
- 26:37There's been two big hurricane impacts
- 26:40to the islands this year in 2026. We're
- 26:42in a super El Nino. Uh and that's very
- 26:45notable. I'm going to talk about that
- 26:46more in a separate video because in fact
- 26:49both the hurricanes LA and Lao they
- 26:51swept over some of these billionaire
- 26:53doomsday bunkers. I think that's mother
- 26:55earth really being like hey I you know
- 26:58just because you think that you're safe
- 26:59from everybody doesn't mean you're safe
- 27:00from me. That's a whole different video.
- 27:02But right as that hurricane passed over
- 27:06the westernmost islands of uh Kauaii and
- 27:10Nihow over here that's when this
- 27:13eruption paused. So that's also showing
- 27:15how there's effect with perhaps effect.
- 27:18I mean, it's too much of a coincidence
- 27:20for me, especially when you evoke in the
- 27:23spirit of PLE and more. It's just
- 27:25personally, it's too much of a
- 27:27coincidence for me. You can make up your
- 27:28own mind. I'm just presenting the dates,
- 27:30the facts, the data, and also that bit
- 27:33of that open perspective. But the moment
- 27:35that passed over, the eruption paused,
- 27:37it's been paused since. Clearly, a big
- 27:39state change has occurred once again
- 27:41with the Hawaiian hotspot. And uh we're
- 27:44seeing that was also Crakatau erupted
- 27:46right before that occurred. Um and you
- 27:49know there's all this history of the
- 27:51migrations and the movements of people
- 27:53from the Pacific Pacific Islands and
- 27:56from Indonesia and uh and Tahiti and
- 27:59more to Hawaii and the other more
- 28:03eastern islands.
- 28:05So it's very very interesting. We can
- 28:07look at zoom actually see the path of
- 28:10that uh hurricane. We see new ones
- 28:13forming here. But let's go back to the
- 28:178th of and the 7th of September. And
- 28:21here is Hurricane Lao at a category
- 28:23three status. Okay. And here is the 8th
- 28:28of September. There still category three
- 28:31or category 2 now coming in hot. And we
- 28:34go forward is swept over Kawaii on the
- 28:39on the 9th or sorry on the uh the the
- 28:44morning of the 8th and then passed over
- 28:48on the 9th.
- 28:51It's now starting to move away and
- 28:53that's right when we started seeing a
- 28:55big change the volcanic system there.
- 28:56And there's old magma tubes and tunnels
- 28:59and everything connecting all the
- 29:00islands together because they were all
- 29:02connected to the hot spot. So now
- 29:04they're solidified and you know there's
- 29:06just not active magma flow through them
- 29:08but energetically they're all still
- 29:10connected together. So there's a lot of
- 29:12very interesting things uh occurring
- 29:15right now. But this this pattern of
- 29:19seeing these big earthquakes strike near
- 29:22these some of the world's deadliest
- 29:24volcanoes and already seeing Krakatau
- 29:26just explode violently is a little
- 29:29concerning to me. Now, in addition to
- 29:31that, we had this fireball that was uh
- 29:34that exploded over uh Indonesia here uh
- 29:38to the north. So, let's check out this
- 29:41video that was captured. No good video I
- 29:44could find yet of the fireball itself,
- 29:48unfortunately. So, I think you should
- 29:50take just a little grain of salt with
- 29:52this. There's nothing that I'm I'm not
- 29:54getting any intuition that this is fake
- 29:56or made up, but it was actually kind of
- 29:58difficult to like precisely verify this
- 30:00because the uh American Meteor Society,
- 30:03which often hosts these reports for
- 30:05people to submit their videos, they just
- 30:07had a uh web attack to their website.
- 30:10So, they're down right now for like the
- 30:13next couple weeks. And uh someone picked
- 30:15up the seismic waveforms for this on the
- 30:18real- time feed and they posted that,
- 30:20but I was unable to like get my eyes on
- 30:23that data myself. It was all these
- 30:26different seismic networks. It's very
- 30:28difficult to access the data actually.
- 30:30And they've they've actually just now
- 30:31implemented some changes with some of
- 30:33the biggest ones that make it harder for
- 30:34some reason. So, you know, it's not a
- 30:36conspiracy, but it's just it's odd. And
- 30:39so I can't fully confirm this for you,
- 30:41but we see this big flash from the
- 30:43fireball. And this is the local time
- 30:46right here. This was at uh was it 1618?
- 30:50Well, it looks like actually 1614
- 30:53uh universal time on the 11th. Now, if
- 30:55that time stamp is accurate, but in
- 30:57general, people saw this in between uh
- 31:00roughly 15 minutes to 20 minutes after
- 31:04midnight.
- 31:05And uh that exploded right over. So, you
- 31:08know, a bit of a cosmic messenger coming
- 31:10in. We get these every now and then, but
- 31:11for there to be a sonic boom, bright
- 31:13flash of light and everything, that's
- 31:15pretty rare. We had a big surge, as you
- 31:17may recall, back in uh February,
- 31:20February, March into April. Really,
- 31:22March was huge for these big explosive
- 31:25fireballs. Uh, and we really still don't
- 31:28have an explanation for that because the
- 31:29orbits that we calculated came in from
- 31:31all over the place. Now, one other thing
- 31:34to keep in mind is that we do have some
- 31:38space weather coming up which is
- 31:39indicative of there being some high
- 31:42magnitude earthquake activity and well,
- 31:44we've been seeing big activity in the
- 31:47western Pacific. So, that this could be
- 31:50uh the next trigger mechanism that's
- 31:53coming up here. We're looking at our
- 31:54sun, our 304 or sorry, our 193 anstrom
- 31:57view and we see these two coronal holes
- 32:00here on the sun. this area there being
- 32:03uh definitely larger but still connected
- 32:05into this smaller one over here. So I'm
- 32:07just calling them one hole but kind of
- 32:09two separate holes. This hole up here
- 32:12being the largest one. Uh we are going
- 32:14to be hit by this highspeed stream
- 32:16around the 14th and 15th of September
- 32:19and then we'll be embedded within it. Uh
- 32:21so we did see uh an earthquake response
- 32:26from the prior coronal hole highspeed
- 32:28stream and the S1 radiation storm and
- 32:31all that stuff that occurred just a few
- 32:33days ago. You know I talked about that
- 32:35uh the biggest earthquake was that 6.5.
- 32:39So we you know that's not a huge one but
- 32:41it was clearly a shift up in energy
- 32:44because we can see that right here. If
- 32:46we go back to our live data, we see our
- 32:48global seismic activity level and look
- 32:50at how we had this very clear
- 32:52significant shift right after uh those
- 32:55factors converge and also with the new
- 32:58moon because we had some other activity
- 33:00too that bumped up that day. So very
- 33:02clearly a significant shift shift since
- 33:05this global seismic burst came to a
- 33:07close. Um
- 33:10and now we have an even more significant
- 33:13coronal hole coming up. Last one was a
- 33:14little tiny guy. It really didn't do
- 33:15much. This one will be more significant.
- 33:17So, we're looking like uh there's going
- 33:20to be more active conditions. There's a
- 33:23higher probability of there being more
- 33:24active conditions. This is a forecast,
- 33:26right? I'm not uh Nostradamus and just
- 33:29putting down expect on the, you know,
- 33:3213th of November the world to end. Like
- 33:34that's not at all my jam what I do. It's
- 33:37really just about what are the factors
- 33:38and what can we forecast. It's just like
- 33:40you look at the radar for the weather
- 33:42and then you issue forecast for rain,
- 33:44right? You you you listen to the wise
- 33:47people a little bit and put your finger
- 33:48up. You incor you sprinkle that in as
- 33:50well. Um but this is another factor
- 33:53coming in and there's already been so
- 33:55much activity in the Western Pacific
- 33:57specifically for Indonesia and you're
- 34:00having the earthquakes, you're having
- 34:01the volcanic eruptions, you're having
- 34:03the meteors. I mean at some point it
- 34:05starts to get a little biblical. I mean,
- 34:07I'm not really uh I'm not really
- 34:10convinced by any means that like this is
- 34:12the end. That's not that's not my jam.
- 34:15Um but I do think that God works in
- 34:18mysterious ways. And I think he's a
- 34:19little bit of a joker. And I think that
- 34:21you are we are given these these warning
- 34:24signs by uh the sun, the earth, the
- 34:27cosmos, God to let us know like, hey,
- 34:30there's some stuff coming. If you can
- 34:31read the signs, then more power to you.
- 34:33That is the oldest science known to man
- 34:35is learning to read the signs of the
- 34:37stars and more. So we've lost a lot of
- 34:40that ancestral knowledge and wisdom uh
- 34:43that we you know cultivated over
- 34:45thousands of years with our shamans and
- 34:48mystical leaders and just wise elders
- 34:51who understood what the land was saying
- 34:53and how she was uh responding to
- 34:56everything that's happening globally. So
- 35:00a lot happening right now. Uh here's
- 35:02some more info on that uh that meteor
- 35:05that popped off. This was confirmed by
- 35:09the meteorology, climatology,
- 35:12and geohysics agency. Uh they picked it
- 35:16up with their seisographs over over uh
- 35:19goron talo in the early morning hours
- 35:23and did not come from activities like
- 35:25earthquakes or volcanoes. So, they
- 35:29picked up this vibration on their
- 35:31seismometers, and there's a bunch of
- 35:33CCTV footage of uh that flash of light,
- 35:37but there's no footage I could find of
- 35:39the actual meat fireball streaking
- 35:41through. So, that's why again, just a
- 35:42little grain of salt, but I feel pretty
- 35:44good about this. Uh, but I can't, you
- 35:46know, sit here and confirm it for you,
- 35:48unfortunately. I tried my best to spend
- 35:50a lot of time looking try to do that.
- 35:52Can't do it. Uh but there's just a lot
- 35:55happening right now in Indonesia as you
- 35:58can tell and uh we're going to continue
- 36:01to probably get more activity based off
- 36:04the pattern that we're seeing. U these
- 36:06sort of big earthquakes, the 7.8s or
- 36:09just in general high magnitude 7, you
- 36:11know, they can precipitate changes that
- 36:13take a few months to uh to occur. So
- 36:17just because this was on the 14th of
- 36:21April and now it's the 12th of
- 36:22September, that's less than a month. But
- 36:25these these pressure waves moving
- 36:28through the volcanic systems and the
- 36:29magma chambers that they have and the
- 36:31sills and the dikes that then triggers
- 36:34changes that take some time. So, it's
- 36:36not a the next day thing, though it can
- 36:38be, but often if you look at history,
- 36:41these big earthquakes that hit near big
- 36:45volcanoes that do spectacular eruption,
- 36:47sometimes it's two, three, four years
- 36:49before that volcano really goes nuts. Um
- 36:53so just the fact that we're seeing you
- 36:55know these aren't magnitude 8
- 36:57earthquakes or magnitude 9 earthquakes
- 36:59though we did have of course the
- 37:01magnitude 9.1 Simata 2004 you know in
- 37:05this area and then Japan 9.1 in 2011 so
- 37:08those have popped off recently uh in
- 37:11this theater. The last magnitude 9 were
- 37:14Alaska 64 and Chile in 1960. Right?
- 37:19that's not going to more directly
- 37:20implicate the Eastern Pacific than the
- 37:22ones happening right nearby.
- 37:26Uh but it doesn't have to be these like
- 37:28ultra mega quakes. It just needs to be a
- 37:30big earthquake near a big volcano
- 37:33because you know the energy dies off
- 37:36with distance and everything. So it's
- 37:38really about the scaling factor, the
- 37:40relative strength of it. And while this
- 37:427.8 striking so close to Tambora,
- 37:45[snorts] I mean let's zoom in on this
- 37:46guy. Check this guy out. I mean, this
- 37:48volcano here is mean. You do not want
- 37:51this erupting like it did uh 211
- 37:57years ago now, and it's it's certainly
- 38:01looking I mean, it could go at any it
- 38:03could go at any time. There's going to
- 38:04be warning signs, but basically what
- 38:08I've seen with my research and and and
- 38:10more and like Krakatoa took people by
- 38:12surprise, right? Uh it's just that
- 38:15sometimes it just boom boomshak kalaka.
- 38:17It just goes. And that's all she wrote.
- 38:21I mean, here, look at all these other
- 38:23volcanoes
- 38:25scattered around because of the
- 38:26subduction trench. And you have that 7.1
- 38:31here, 629 km down, right? That's guiding
- 38:34that boundary, the deep boundary between
- 38:36the plate and the mantle. So, you had
- 38:38that entire thing unlock. And now you're
- 38:42having these earthquakes along the
- 38:44trench itself. We're seeing big movement
- 38:46now with this plate here and as a result
- 38:50of that we could see follow-up big
- 38:52activity from Tambbora or from Krakata.
- 38:55We hope to God we don't see anything
- 38:57from Toba but we have to be mindful of
- 39:00this. This is really my take-home
- 39:01message. We need to be really mindful of
- 39:04this. So that is your video for today.
- 39:07I've been your host Burns. I'm going to
- 39:09check out what we've gotten via super
- 39:12thanks just to look at this really
- 39:13quick. Uh thank you to everyone here on
- 39:15the live stream. Hope you're all doing
- 39:16well. Char uh with a super thanks. Thank
- 39:19you for sincere. Thank you sincerely for
- 39:21everything you contribute to educating
- 39:23the general public about earth science
- 39:24and challenging the college educated
- 39:26community as well. Blessings and
- 39:28gratitude space bro been here since 19.
- 39:30Thank you so much. Uh I mean I haven't
- 39:32been doing this since 19 but uh thank
- 39:35you so much. And then Justice here with
- 39:38a $20 super sticker. That is awesome.
- 39:40and Gerald Dean big supporter with a
- 39:43nice super thanks. I wondered maybe have
- 39:45you looked to compare data on Iniki and
- 39:48Lael. Yesterday was 34 years since Eniki
- 39:51both just turned north. Thank you. Yeah.
- 39:53Uh Iniki went over Kauaii at a category
- 39:564 and Lau went over at a category 2. So
- 39:59Eniki was was worse, but Lao was also
- 40:02not good. Um, so yeah, it's been really
- 40:07rough for the Hawaiian Islands recently
- 40:11and uh I think that's likely to
- 40:13continue. Uh, it's certainly possible.
- 40:17We we we we hope not, but we're in this
- 40:20super El Nino and things are really
- 40:22getting quite serious. So, uh, I'll be
- 40:26back with more. I don't know when Kiloa
- 40:28is going to erupt. It could be any time
- 40:30now. So if I catch that, I will live
- 40:32stream it for you all. Uh do some more
- 40:34commentary on what's happening there
- 40:36because we're seeing big changes once
- 40:38again with Kiloa now that Lao passed
- 40:41over seemed to have triggered a
- 40:42significant shift with the volcano all
- 40:45the way to the east at the big island.
- 40:47That or just coincidence that in this
- 40:49earthquake just right after this
- 40:51gigantic eruption from Krakatau is
- 40:53coincidence. You know, there's just too
- 40:55many coincidences. Add in the meteor
- 40:58fireball explosion. There's just too
- 40:59many coincidences to chalk it up. I
- 41:02personally believe in the fact that
- 41:03there are some larger plans at play and
- 41:06just also all the systems are
- 41:08interconnected, right? It doesn't have
- 41:10to be uh some crazy conspiracy or
- 41:12anything. It's just everything's
- 41:14connected in ways that we still barely
- 41:16understand. There's so much that we
- 41:17don't understand and we don't even know
- 41:18we don't know. So, in 200 years time,
- 41:21we're going to be looking back and be
- 41:22like, "Oh, yeah, of course." you know
- 41:25this deep mantle convection of course
- 41:27influences this and that and whatever.
- 41:29So uh we're very new to all this. Our
- 41:32data feeds and our data sets are very
- 41:34very short. Like our high resolution
- 41:37earthquake data is only I don't know not
- 41:40even like 50 years maybe. Uh we have
- 41:43data going further back but we missed a
- 41:44lot of data in the oceans and lesser
- 41:46magnitude quakes like magnitude 5. So
- 41:49there's just our solar our solar data
- 41:51especially the high resolution stuff now
- 41:53like with modern space telescopes is
- 41:55super limited only maybe two three
- 41:57decades if that more like three three
- 41:59four decades so we're just at the
- 42:01beginning of putting these pieces
- 42:03together that is my job that is my
- 42:05mission if you like the sound of that
- 42:06then please subscribe smash that thumbs
- 42:07up button help the channel grow I
- 42:09release videos almost daily now that I'm
- 42:11back from my vacation I'll be releasing
- 42:13more videos though I will be leaving
- 42:15again probably about two weeks uh but
- 42:18I'll be active also when I'm on that
- 42:20trip. So, thank you all so much. Wishing
- 42:22each and every single one of you well.
- 42:24Prayers for everyone that's been
- 42:26affected by these natural disasters
- 42:27recently. It has been a crazy summer uh
- 42:30with big earthquake activity, big
- 42:32hurricanes in Pacific. It's for a lot of
- 42:35people, it's been a big wakeup call. So,
- 42:38if you haven't had a big shakeup as a
- 42:41result yet, don't cons don't just think
- 42:44that it's not going to happen to you. Uh
- 42:46it's just better to be prepared. So
- 42:48that's my closing out message. Be
- 42:50prepared. Uh be aware of what's
- 42:52happening. You know, track this to some
- 42:55degree. You don't need to get lost in
- 42:57the sauce, but just be aware of what's
- 42:58happening on our actual planet rather
- 43:00than all the fake news stuff that's
- 43:01occurring um that they're trying to
- 43:04brainwash you with. At least that's what
- 43:06I think. It none of it's good uh in
- 43:08general. This is what's actually
- 43:10happening though. So, thank you all so
- 43:12much. Have a great day. I'll see you all
- 43:13in the next video.
