0:17It's been about a week or two since
0:19we've actually had a little Pokemon
0:20conversation update. I am coming around
0:22here. So, we're gonna have a uh a little
0:25chatter on the state of Pokemon, the
0:28updates with this new Pokemon set,
0:30the Pokemon 30th situation.
0:34Sorry, I don't have any card shop. I
0:36don't have any card shop chairs at this
0:38location, everybody. There's actually uh
0:40I don't have any my Where's my plastic?
0:42I don't know where they are. I can't
0:43find any card shop chairs at the Pokemon
0:45location. All right, so how's everybody
0:47doing today? It's been a couple weeks
0:49since we've really discussed Pokemon.
0:51Just a straightup Pokemon video. So,
0:53first we are in the middle. This is
0:55being filmed at the end of October in
0:572026. For those of you watching this
0:58into the future, we are halfway through
1:02the Pokemon 30th releases with wave 1 of
1:06ETBs,
1:08posters, and weird things and ancillary
1:10products of Pokemon 30th. Wave two is
1:12starting to come out, I believe. I don't
1:15think it's Have I I don't think I've
1:16gotten my wave two, but I believe it's
1:18supposed to be shipping in the next 7 to
1:1910 days or something. And we're probably
1:22a couple weeks away from the next wave
1:23of different ancillary products and
1:25ultra super mega king dingling premium
1:28collections and different things the
1:29next 30 days as we come to an end of
1:31Pokemon 30th I think in like December.
1:34But then again, you guys know in 2027
1:36there's going to be another reprint
1:37whatever of Pokemon 30th. If if the
1:39price starts climbing, they're going to
1:41keep reprinting like unless it collapses
1:42and nobody wants it, which I don't think
1:44that's going to happen. So, I think the
1:46chatter now is I want to address some
1:49questions and patrons and you guys are
1:50messaging me and kind of answering you
1:52guys privately. So, let's just give a
1:53general conversation. The next Pokemon
1:56set,
1:57ME6, I think technically it is after
1:59Pitch Perfect Black and Perfect PP and
2:02Chaos Rising on your X's face. I believe
2:04ME6 is coming. And ME6 obviously I think
2:08that's the Rayquaza crazy one that
2:09everyone's going nuts for and it does
2:12not appear to be short printed. does not
2:14appear to be overprinted. It appears to
2:15be very similar to me as ME5 pitch
2:18black. It does not appear to be much
2:20changes, at least for my personal
2:22allocations from multiple distributors.
2:24I don't really see much getting better
2:25or worse right now. I kind of thought
2:28going into this set and the next one in
2:30Q1 of 27, I kind of thought we were
2:32going to I I don't know, maybe I was
2:35just maybe I was just on Hopium. Maybe I
2:36was I was hoping I kind of thought we
2:38were start I was hoping to start getting
2:40bigger allocations. Like back in the
2:42day, if I wanted 5,000 ETBs between all
2:45the distributors, I would get around
2:464,000 ETBs. And as patrons would know, I
2:50just sold ETBs by the case. They were
2:52usually like, I don't know, $499 for a
2:55case of 10 ETBs, that kind of thing. You
2:56know, sometimes they would tank and I'd
2:58have to do $3.99 for a case of 10 ETBs.
3:01I was kind of hoping that I would see
3:03some evidence of more print run capacity
3:05and larger allocations for this next
3:07set. Does not appear to be the thing.
3:09Now, I don't know if that's because this
3:11is the same and they're using the any
3:13extra capacity to to make sure they just
3:15print a lot of Pokemon 30th. Um, so
3:19let's pause right there.
3:22So, um, let's understand what's coming
3:24on the schedule. So, we do have new
3:26Pokemon stuff coming for the patrons
3:27coming up, uh, this weekend. We're
3:29actually do a little throwback. I'm
3:30going to try something different. I'm
3:31going to do a little throwback Pokemon
3:32sale. Um, if you're watching us on
3:34Friday or Saturday here, we're going to
3:35do something like let's mix some older
3:37stuff like Silver Tempest, maybe some
3:38Pokemon 30. Let's make a little Pokemon
3:40variety kit. I feel like we haven't done
3:42that in a while. And then, you know,
3:44we'll make a little $500, $600 variety
3:45kit, then maybe just take 50 bucks off
3:47the price of the market price, little
3:4910% discount. And let's I just want to
3:51do something different. I'm kind of just
3:52kind of see how you guys are standing
3:53right now because the overall consensus
3:55is the market is definitely still not
3:58the greatest. Um, the amount of you all
4:00contacting me to unload collections, the
4:02amount of people in stores with extra
4:05inventory of Pitch Black or even some
4:07other, you know, not as much on Chaos
4:09Rising and Destined Rivals anymore.
4:10That's leveled out already. But there's
4:12definitely just still there's a lot of
4:14paranoia. There's still a lot of
4:16opposite of FOMO. There's there's still
4:17a lot of I don't know, jittery anxiety
4:20that the because everyone's realizing
4:22that nothing's going up in Pokemon now.
4:24I guess unless it's vintage slabs that
4:26are going for millions of dollars, but
4:28the overall market itself is very
4:30stagnant to negative, which again, I'm
4:32still on record, is an incredibly
4:34positive thing. And I think that people
4:37are kind of I think we're seeing some
4:40deleveraging from LGS's and businesses.
4:43And I think you're seeing some people
4:45that were buying as much as they could
4:48to flip and churn and burn. I just I
4:50think we're just seeing an unwinding of
4:52some of these uh positions. And I think
4:55the market on on like ME3, ME4 is is
4:58trying to crawl back, but I think that
5:01every time we have an uptick, you're
5:02seeing more product just surprise come
5:04to market. And I think that's a side
5:06effect of people unwinding positions. Um
5:09obviously, um I am at the Pokemon
5:12location here today. Um, a lot of
5:14security, a lot of pain in the butt
5:16here. But in this location, this is
5:18everything you see in this background.
5:20Um, there everything in this background,
5:22the newest Pokemon at this location is
5:26Scarlet Violet. There is nothing past
5:28Destin Rivals is the newest item here.
5:31So everything you see in the background
5:32here, you're going to be dealing with
5:34SVO6,
5:36SVO3, you know, Char Lizards, SVO4,
5:39SVO2, SVO, you know, everything here.
5:42And then you go further, you go into uh
5:44Sword and Shield. So at here to give you
5:46guys an idea, everything you're looking
5:47at on this video freaking out or some of
5:49you who are new to this channel. U
5:50there's nothing in this background
5:52that's actually well new product
5:54anymore. Everything in this video is
5:56older products. Scarlet Violet or older
5:58and out of print. Well, I guess
6:01technically the end of Scarlet Violet's
6:03not out of print yet. We got like six
6:04months. So let's pause right there.
6:07Here, I want to jump over to you guys.
6:08Want me to discuss the prismatic
6:10evolutions cuz I haven't really talked
6:11about in a while. Uh, you know what? I
6:14should have I should have filmed at the
6:16prismatic spot. I never got to show you
6:18guys my prismatic evolutions. I told you
6:20guys about my super premiums, but uh
6:22anyways, dang. I should have I should
6:23have filmed there today. Kind of a
6:25awkward positioning. Um,
6:28it's interesting to see the company, the
6:30Pokemon company, how obsessed they are
6:34with printing prismatic evolutions. The
6:37last time I saw the Pokemon Company
6:39print something this many times over its
6:42life cycle
6:44was definitely um I'm going to say it
6:49to me the last time I really saw this
6:52was either going to be a chilling rain
6:55it even evolving skies with the three
6:56reprints we had on evolving skies we had
6:58release wave we had a 30% second wave
7:01and a 10% third wave of evolving skies
7:03back in the day 5 years ago
7:05chilling was four waves.
7:08I think the last time I saw a prismatic
7:10evolution type behavior where there's
7:12been reprints of booster bundles to ETBs
7:15to ancillary to the was it the Pokemon
7:18pouches or the purses? Remember the
7:19Eevee pouch or purse thing that
7:21collapsed because I remember that
7:23because I got a wave. Oh, I should I'll
7:25tell you that story real quick. That was
7:26the one I screwed up really bad. Um, the
7:28last time I saw this was Pokemon
7:30Evolutions XY era where Evolutions was
7:32just endlessly reprinted the entire life
7:34cycle of the product. Um, but it
7:36reminded because I remember like even
7:38like a year and a half ago I think it
7:40was was it a year and a half like 15
7:42months ago they reprint they printed so
7:45we had those Pokemon prismatic evolution
7:47Eevee pouches. I called them the purses
7:51[clears throat] and um my main
7:54distributor contacts me. He's like,
7:56"Hey, Rudy, there's another reprint and
7:57you know, I know you say you want as
7:58much Pokemon as possible, blah blah
8:00blah. Stop hosing me on price and
8:02reprints, blah blah blah. I'll do the
8:03best I can. It is what it is." And I
8:05said, "No problem." And I think and my
8:08main distributor sends me a message
8:10like, "Hey man, I got you 240 of the uh
8:13of the Pokemon uh purses." And I was
8:16like, "Dang, that's a lot. 240 is
8:17awesome." Okay, I didn't expect that.
8:21And then delivery day rolls around and
8:24my security guy Vlad calls me. He's
8:27like, "Uh, Rudy, we got a little problem
8:30here. You said there's a pallet coming
8:32of Pokemon purses." I said, "Yeah, it
8:35should be like 240. Maybe they're going
8:37to bump me to 270. Maybe maybe even 300,
8:39whatever. One pallet." And he and he
8:41goes, "No, no, no. Uh, Mr. George, uh,
8:44how much you pay new guy? Uh, something
8:46not right here, sir. Um, hold up. Hold
8:49up. Hold up. Something ain't right. And
8:53he calls me. He goes, "Rudy, there's
8:55like [ __ ] five to 10 pallets. There's
8:57an entire almost [ __ ] freight truck
8:59with other [ __ ] here. We have an entire
9:00It's not even a partial load. We got
9:02like an 18 pallet freight truck." I was
9:05like, "What is going on?" And I called
9:08the distributors like, "I think you
9:10[ __ ] up." And my distributor, my main
9:12guy I've been talking to, I call his
9:13cell phone. I'm like I'm like, "Hey man,
9:16I think your warehouse uh call the guys
9:18in the warehouse real quick." And he
9:19goes, "What are you talking about? I got
9:20you like 300. I got you 300, right?" I
9:23said, "Yeah, dude. There's [ __ ]
9:25pallets piled up everywhere." He goes,
9:27"Yeah, I got you 300 cases."
9:30I was like I was like I was like, "Wait,
9:32what? What did you just say?" He said,
9:33"Yeah, I got I told you 300 cases." I
9:36said, "I I thought you were getting me
9:38300 Prismatic Evolutions purses." He
9:41said, "Yeah, I did." He goes, "They're
9:44cases. Each case is six." I was like,
9:47"Hold on. I just committed I I just I
9:52just committed to 300 time. I just
9:55committed to 1800
9:57[ __ ] Prismatic Evolution purses.
10:00Do I get a discount like release wave
10:03when it was like $15, $20?" He goes,
10:05"No, no, it's double the price. You're
10:06paying like 40 a piece." I was like,
10:09"Bro, they're 35 on TCG Player. I can't
10:11even sell these to patrons. I can't do
10:13anything. I can't even sell these and
10:15break even. And he goes, I mean, I you
10:17already paid for everything he's done. I
10:19mean, I, you know, I'm so I apologize
10:20for the confusion. So, I ended up buying
10:22like [ __ ] almost 2,000 of these
10:24stupid purses at a cost basis of 40.
10:27They were TCG player for 35 release day.
10:30Originally, they were MSRP for like 20
10:32and like they're supposed to pay like 12
10:33to 15. And I paid like4 $40 and I got
10:37hos in this [ __ ] And I I was like, "All
10:39right, whatever. Um, I'll run a patron
10:41sale immediately. I'll bump it up on the
10:43schedule just to offer patrons some
10:44cases of these to try to unload cuz I
10:46bought too many. So, I put a patron sale
10:49for $39.99 shipped times a case of six.
10:52So, it was $239 for a case of prismatic
10:55purses to patrons. Um, and this was
10:58about a year ago, I think. And I think I
11:01sold like 17.
11:04And I was and then Vlad and my family
11:08started laughing at me and I think my
11:10son ran by, opened one of the things and
11:12like was running around the house with
11:13like a Pokemon [ __ ] Eevee purse like
11:15laughing at me and we were throwing them
11:17around playing hide-and-seek, some
11:18stupid [ __ ] So it just became this huge
11:21internet meme, everybody. And uh
11:24obviously fast forward, you guys know
11:26where the story is going. Um, somebody
11:28can price check, but I assume the
11:30Pokemon purses, the Prismatic Evolution
11:32ED pouches, those are those box sets.
11:35Um, well, the market's crashed, so maybe
11:37not now. But I'm hoping, at least last
11:39time I saw, they were $50 to $60 and I
11:41paid 40. So, I paid double MSRP. So,
11:44they have climbed back to 5060. I'm
11:46afraid they may be collapsing because
11:47Prismatic Evolution collapsed again. But
11:49anyway, I thought you guys would
11:50appreciate a fun story on the importance
11:52of clear communication, everything like
11:54that. button. Uh if you're a patron a
11:56year ago, you probably remember that uh
11:57prismatic evolution pouch sale thing I
11:59tried I tried to do. And uh yeah, that
12:02was funny. That was funny. So anyways,
12:04um to to zoom out in the conversation, I
12:06want to give you guys a fun story today
12:07on this uh this Friday. And uh
12:12this is the moment I just want to give
12:14you guys a thing.
12:16This is the tail end of prismatic
12:18evolutions. If you're new to the market,
12:20these are the moments that whales and
12:23smart money are making big moves. Um, I
12:26don't know how much Prismatic
12:28Evolution's ETBs, kind of the benchmark
12:30items since there's no, you know,
12:31there's no booster box. So, people the
12:32benchmarks ETB and like the booster
12:34bundle. I don't know how much these
12:36things are going to drop. I know
12:38Prismatic Evolution ETBs peaked at like
12:40200 then dropped to 150, 140, 130. I
12:43think they're 110, 115 maybe. They've
12:46collapsed about 45% from the high of 200
12:49210. So while a lot of people are are
12:52unloading, everybody's moving forward.
12:54Pokemon 30th, Rayquaza, new set, ME6,
12:59Magic the Gathering, Star Trek, we got a
13:01new Weiss set with wrestling and
13:03signature cards of course. Yes, folks,
13:05there are some crazy other things
13:07coming. I know there's a new Power
13:08World. I know you patrons, yes, I think
13:10next week's the new Power World set. I'm
13:12like whatever. I know we got the Star
13:14Trek stuff coming. Um, the Weiss
13:16Wrestling thing coming. Um, I think
13:18there's a new Godzilla and Hollow Alive
13:20coming in the next month or so. Um, I
13:22know Gundam Riftbound doesn't matter
13:24because nobody can get thousands of
13:25boxes, but apparently it's doing really
13:26well. Um, let's see here. I know
13:28Sorcery, the next Sorcery big release is
13:31not till Q1 of next year. So, we got
13:33like three or four months till
13:34excitement is going to start. Sorcery,
13:36send me some cool like teaser stuff or
13:38like an empty box or let me sew some Let
13:40me let me look at some cool give me
13:42something cool to share with the world.
13:43I know you watch my videos, guys. Um,
13:45that's about it with that. Um, Weiss is
13:48that that's I mean, in Flesh and Blood,
13:52the mark the last set's doing the best
13:55I've seen in a while, which is really
13:57positive, encouraging. I'm really
13:58excited about that. Um, if you guys want
14:00me to make another video, a dedicated
14:02video on Flesh and Blood, there's a lot
14:04going on right now because the company
14:06is now uh revamping and shifting the
14:08road map a little bit. They've announced
14:10Flesh and Blood 3.0 know and some pretty
14:13interesting changes and a lot of people
14:15online are freaking the [ __ ] out about,
14:17you know, there's a lot of negativity
14:19from the game piece army because the
14:21vibe I'm getting, if you guys want a
14:23whole video on this, I will. I don't
14:24want to fluff it. I want to go back to
14:25Pokemon real quick, but um on the flesh
14:27and blood thing, the vibe I'm getting is
14:29they're trying to tighten the secondary
14:30market and they're trying to stabilize
14:32and have some actual value collector
14:34appreciation is what it seems like
14:36they're subtly trying to do. And
14:38obviously because of that, the hardcore
14:41player base of Flesh and Blood, the
14:42really hardcore organized play
14:44tournament, you know, the or they're
14:46just they're very serious about that
14:48organized play. And a lot of those
14:50people are very flipping the [ __ ] out.
14:53So that's going on. If you want a whole
14:55video on that, just comment below. I
14:56don't know how many people want me to
14:57ramble 30 minutes on these details of
14:59flesh and blood and what you guys are
15:00messaging me and what people think. And
15:02if you guys want me to do that, comment
15:04below. But anyways, back to Pokemon.
15:06So, new Pokemon sale coming up in the
15:09next week or two because a new release
15:10is coming. We got a nice variety
15:12throwback Pokemon kit this weekend. We
15:14have some interesting fun Magic Monday
15:16variety kits coming up here for those of
15:18you guys. Uh oh. Um yes, I will tell you
15:21real quick then I'm going to go into
15:22some other older Pokemon stuff. Uh yeah,
15:24I sent out the official opening of the
15:26PCG Premier card grading corporate
15:28campus. Uh we are my VIP concierge
15:31people and in communication with a lot
15:33of you guys. We are doing patrons as our
15:35testers first. Um we are getting a
15:37pretty pretty solid response. We're
15:39looking at 10 to 20 different dates and
15:42bookings right now. So it does look like
15:44over the next 7 to 10 days um the entire
15:47month of looks like from now to the end
15:50of the year the entire month November
15:51December range could be getting fully
15:53booked. So once we start taking on
15:55general public for high-end grading in
15:57person private stuff, looks like that
15:59might not be taking from uh taking
16:01information on that from the public and
16:02you guys till January or next year. It's
16:05looking like depending how many people
16:06are going to follow through with booking
16:07and payments. Um we could be solidly
16:09booked from now at the end of the year
16:11for the in-person high-end stuff in
16:13person grading, take your cards with you
16:15stuff with me and fun [ __ ] So that
16:17heads up that is going very well. It's
16:19very busy. Please be patient on your
16:21replies. Give us a couple days to go
16:22through everything and reply. Uh, back
16:24to Pokemon. Don't forget PSA sucks.

16:48service response times are pretty much
16:50averaging one day. Everything is really
16:51smooth right now. We made it to the
16:53buildout though. That's been really uh
16:55stressful. It's been going really well.
16:56So, thank you everybody. Population
16:58report has broken 405,000 slabs now. So,
17:02it does look like within the next 60
17:04days, we are going to be shattering half
17:06a million slabs of Premier card grading.
17:08So, appreciate you guys and all the
17:10stores, you guys, vendors and everything
17:12going on, customer orders, middlemen,
17:14LGs around the country. I appreciate
17:17everything you guys believing, trusting
17:18us with your cards. It's been really
17:20great. Um, no, I'm not going to go
17:21further into the comments on the PSA
17:23heist, the Beckett problems, the H. I'm
17:25not Those are other companies problems.
17:27Everybody knows what's going on. So,
17:29thanks again for everybody allowing us
17:31to really push forward and uh take on
17:33this industry and what I believe should
17:35be the right way. Not sir, not
17:37overcharging, not holding people's cards
17:39for a [ __ ] year, not surprising
17:41people with thousand bills. Um, I
17:44believe card grading should go back to
17:45the proper way and proper respect
17:47between the grading company, the graders
17:50and the customers. Everybody should be a
17:52certain level of business and respect
17:53that we're trying to get back to. So,
17:55thank you guys. Back to the video. So,
17:57as we wrap up this video, which means
17:58we're halfway through uh on the Pokemon
18:02uh vintage Pokemon um Sword and Shield I
18:04want to talk about real quick.
18:06Completely flat. Absolutely no
18:08excitement around it. Chilling Rain,
18:10Evolving Skies, The Brilliance, The
18:11Lost, the whole, I don't know, Silver
18:13Tempest, Fusion, Astral, I don't know,
18:15Battle Styles, Vivid, Darkness, Base,
18:18whatever. Don't get me wrong, prices are
18:20not tanking at all, but the demand, the
18:23volume, the velocity of money going to
18:25older Pokemon from Sword and Shield era
18:27is very low. There is no excitement to
18:29it. There is not a lot of chatter to it.
18:32There is not a bunch of new money
18:33chasing anything in Sword and Shield
18:35era. It is very, very quiet, I have to
18:38admit. Same thing with XY and Sun and
18:40Moon. Some small pockets of upticks on
18:43certain cards or slabs or boxes, but
18:45overall
18:46the overall market of XY and Sun and
18:48Moon, even getting back to that older
18:50era, very flat, very boring, not new
18:52money chasing anymore. A lot of people
18:54trying to lock in huge gains, a lot of
18:56people wanting premium pricing, not just
19:00not not a lot of not a lot of excitement
19:02to report. Um, I do believe the biggest
19:05catalyst right now is like I told you
19:08guys 15 minutes ago was a lot of
19:09unwinding of new Pokemon positions in
19:12the ME and the Scarlet Violet era. I
19:14feel like the market of ME345 has
19:17already bottomed. I feel like the market
19:19in Destin Rivals is now in the bottoming
19:21process or we have bottomed. I can't I'm
19:23not going to call that one yet. I can't
19:25tell on Destin Rivals. And the fact
19:26we're 30 days out from the whole Black
19:28Friday, stepsister Tuesday thing, Cyber
19:30Monday, we're too close to that. And
19:32that is the ultimate capitulation
19:34bearer. That's always that's massive
19:36selling pressure and negativity in the
19:38market every year for the last pretty
19:39much six years since pre-COVID. So I can
19:42never call a bottom. I don't want to
19:44call anything and try to be all king
19:45dingling on that [ __ ] because the
19:47market's just too going into that.
19:49There's too much turbulence and pressure
19:51and too much demand to raise capital
19:53going into that time of year. So it
19:55feels like Destin rival reprint is
19:58pretty much worse is over with. We're
19:59bottoming. We're going to have some
20:00upticks. It feels ME3, four and five has
20:03bottomed. It feels that way and it feels
20:05like anytime there's a little uptick, it
20:07feels like more product comes and kind
20:09of knocks it right back. So, we're kind
20:10of seeing that kangaroo court kind of
20:12that kangaroo market where any little
20:14uptick gets popped popped. In other
20:16words, it's keeping it kind of stagnant.
20:18So, that seems to be where we're at
20:22right now. Um,
20:26I'm still more excited about older
20:28Pokemon. I still I feel like I'm like
20:31the last man standing when it comes to
20:32Sword and Shield. I still feel some of
20:35the biggest opportunities right now. If
20:37I had to give you a hierarchy of recent
20:39stuff that's not outrageously priced, in
20:41other words, XY era, Sun and Moon, that
20:43three, four, $5,000 boxes. No, no. I
20:46still think Sword and Shield because
20:48it's already it we're past the fiveyear
20:50marker for most of those sets. And the
20:52fact that those Sword and Shield has
20:54five years under the belt, it served a
20:56lot of time. We've got that alligator
20:58mouth of time and pricing is really
21:00spreading apart. Giggity and I feel like
21:02because of that I still think the number
21:04one opportunity
21:06and at least for me I like the Sword and
21:09Shield era right now. I feel like risk
21:11the risk is the lowest because it's
21:13oldest and it wasn't overprinted like it
21:15is as much today. The market's treating
21:17it differently and I think Sword and
21:19Shield is the best riskreward
21:21parameters. It's definitely within my
21:23risk tolerance. Scarlet Violet. I told
21:26you guys, I'm huge, huge on SVO1234.
21:31And just so you guys know, this around
21:33me is SVO1234. Now, some of it, you
21:36know, um, you know, some of it, as you
21:39guys can see, you know, that is not
21:42that's SV06. So, so yeah, there's, you

21:50still am incredibly bullish on that kind
21:52of stuff. I don't think any and and
21:54folks these are the times we we went
21:56through all this craziness and now we
21:59are like six months in to no major price
22:02swings on sealed product nothing
22:04skyrocketing on sealed product and it's
22:06like all these people begging for prices
22:08to to calm down prices to retrace 10
22:1120%. We're getting it and nobody's
22:14appreciating it. No one's going man
22:15maybe I should make a move. Like no
22:16one's doing anything. Like all these
22:18people that were obsessed with MSRP
22:20penis, all these things like this is
22:22your time. Why aren't you stepping up?
22:26People begged for this. They begged for
22:28prismatic evolutions to crash. They
22:31begged for all these prices to stop
22:33going up. I mean, ME345, I'm pretty
22:36sure, is all MSRP game. Is isn't all
22:39MSRP? I think it is. I could be
22:41slightly. Maybe it's 10 or 20% over.
22:43Let's just call it around that range. Uh
22:45maybe you're you buy from someone who
22:46doesn't charge you additional sales tax
22:47and shipping so you can get MSRP or if
22:49you adjust for tax and shipping you're
22:51paying MSRP plus tax. It's got to be
22:53there. And like this this is the
22:55opportunity. But ladies and gentlemen,
22:57the these are the moments when it's not
23:00as fun. It doesn't feel as good. These
23:04are the times that it's time to transfer
23:07wealth and go after opportunities. And
23:10these are the times I encourage people
23:12to make moves. If you're in the
23:14situation, to have capital, you have the
23:18ability to store things, your life is
23:19stable, you're in good health for
23:21longevity, you're not using leverage and
23:24debt because we're in an interest rate
23:25environment that's rising. If you have
23:28the proper parameters, if your skill
23:30tree in this world as a human is on the
23:34right path, if you have the proper skill
23:37points and intellect and resources, not
23:40in strength and you're not a barbarian,
23:42if you have the proper, you know, kind
23:44of skill set in place, this is the time
23:47to make these moves. And guess what? You
23:50won't feel any, you won't feel good
23:51about it. Many times you're going to buy
23:53things now and you're going to be like,
23:55"Well, dang, Rudy. I think I'm down 10%
23:57in the last six months. And my email to
24:00you is going to be good. You're a real
24:02collector investor now. You're not
24:04supposed to click the button and buy
24:06something and just make money. I don't
24:08know why that's a thing. Oh, look. It's
24:10down. Must be heavy bags. You This whole
24:13heavy bag mentality is only a postcoid
24:162020 concept mindset. This was never a
24:19thing pre2020 era there. Nobody used the
24:22term heavy bag and all this stuff that
24:24was very derogatory towards dumb people,
24:27people who overbought. You know, Rudy
24:29trying to unload all the [ __ ] to his
24:31patrons and dump everything on eBay and
24:33local and, you know, all of this concept
24:35is a very new principle. It was not like
24:38this, you know, years ago. This was
24:40never a thing until it became more
24:42mainstream social media due to crypto
24:44bros, sneaker bros, all these different
24:47hobbies and, you know, I'm sorry, luxury
24:49watches and APs and batics and Rolexes
24:53and oh, I'm going to buy this and I
24:54bought this $100,000 watch, I'm going to
24:57flip it for 200,000. You know, this is a
24:59new concept. you know, pre-2020 when
25:01I've been doing when I was doing this
25:03from 2010 to 2019. Um, that was never
25:07even a phrase that was used. So, just
25:13I'm hoping we continue on the path we
25:15are and Pokemon doesn't do much of
25:17anything. I'm hoping prices remain very
25:20boring. Boring is our key right now. the
25:23more boring we get, the better and
25:26stronger and healthier and the more the
25:28market's going to thin the herd. And
25:30that's what I'm seeing happening. There
25:32are already signs of many short-term
25:35people that are shedding out of this
25:37industry and market because things are
25:39at MSRP from ME345. Let me put it this
25:42way, everybody. Let me put it this way.
25:45There are more people hoarding the
25:47legendary prismatic evolutions right
25:49now. And guess what? There's almost
25:52nobody hoarding ME345.
25:55That's all I'm going to say.
25:58That's it. Nobody right now is spending
26:01their days analyzing and buying Sword
26:03and Shield era [ __ ] No one right now is
26:06going online every day trying to add to
26:08their positions of ME345.
26:11Like that's not a thing. Well, Rudy, I
26:13am. I bought one ETB. That's great,

26:23not people out there every day buying

26:32a lot of people who love Prismatic
26:34Evolutions and everybody's sitting on
26:35it. Doesn't mean it can't go up. It just
26:38means like I told you guys 3 months, 6
26:40months, and a year ago, I still believe
26:42Prismatic Evolutions is going to do
26:43really well. But I also believe the
26:46growth rates of Prismatic Evolutions
26:48once it's fully out of print, which
26:49we're about there now. We got a couple
26:50months. There might be one more wave of
26:52[ __ ] you in the in the face thing. But
26:53overall, once prismatic evolutions ends
26:55in the next 6 months, folks, the growth
26:58rate is going to be fine, but it's going
27:00to be slower than what you guys want to
27:02admit in which you're acceptable.
27:03Prismatic Evolutions is not going to be
27:05no 20, 30, 40, 50%, 10 extra money. ETBs
27:08are not going to $1,000 in two years.
27:10Prismatic ETBs that are 110 right now. I
27:14literally they're going to go out of
27:14print. They'll climb back to 120.
27:16They'll climb back to 130s, 140s, 150s.
27:19They're going to make a run to one of
27:2080s to 200 for prismatic ETB. But these
27:23things are not going to dry up like
27:25Imagine the Gathering Collector Box and
27:27going to spike to $1,000. That's just
27:30not going to happen. Well, at least in
27:34the next 5 year. I Well, maybe 10 years
27:37we can get it to a couple hundred in
27:39ETB. Folks, this stuff there. It's just
27:41there's the the framework and the path
27:44that that item is going to take is just
27:46not going to be to most people's
27:47tolerance. They're you're not going to
27:49like it. That's the problem. Now, are
27:51you going to make money if you just do
27:52nothing and wait? Absolutely. Are you
27:54upside down? Did you buy Prismatic
27:55Evolutions for 200 on TCG Player and
27:58eBay 6 months ago and you're like,
28:00"Rudy, I'm down 40%." But I don't need
28:01the money, so I'm going to sit on it.
28:03Fine. If you wait 5 years, you're
28:05probably still going to double your
28:06money, and you can probably sell it for
28:073 400, but it it's just not going to
28:10have major growth. You may have to wait
28:12a decade to sell it for 3400, but you'll
28:15still make money. But maybe it's only
28:17going to be five, eight, 10, 15% a year
28:20growth rate instead of your 50% a year.
28:22Things are going to go back. It's just
28:23it's not going to be as good as you all
28:26want to you're hoping it is. The other
28:29side of the coin, you buy a $500 box of
28:32Chilling Rain, you buy a $2,500 box of
28:35Evolving Skies. [ __ ] Evolving Skies
28:38can easily be 5,000 plus anytime. That
28:41[ __ ] can swing on a dime. a $500
28:43chilling rain box from 5 years ago, a
28:45fusion strike box, a lost origins, a
28:47silver, any of these boxes that are 400,
28:50500, 600. You know, you dude, a
28:535-year-old Pokemon box that no one's
28:56paying attention to that everyone ripped
28:57and shipped and is grading and slabbing
28:59and mystery this and that. Easily easily
29:02$500 Pokemon boxes can be 1 to two to
29:043,000. That is not that that is more
29:07probable than a prismatic ETB going from
29:09110 to a,000. That's you have to view
29:12things on percentage scales and
29:13probability based on supply what the
29:16market's doing. That's why again
29:17everybody made fun of me when I bought
29:19thousands of chaos rising in your ex and
29:21everybody thought ME4 you know for
29:23example and I I showed you guys I was
29:25buying out the botters and things. I
29:26bought thousands of these and everybody
29:27was like Rudy's paying60 $70 and 55 and
29:32he's paying MSRP and o like dude those
29:34are terrible sets. Okay, I don't care.
29:36They that's the market believes they're
29:38terrible sets and right now they seem
29:40pretty terrible, but that doesn't mean
29:42that one year from now people are going
29:44to view it with that that lens and that
29:46perspective and 5 years from now
29:48everybody who views those as terrible
29:49sets. They're not going to be in the
29:50market. They're not even going to be
29:51around. They're not going to feel that
29:53way. It's going to be a whole different
29:54group of people. It's going to be a
29:55whole different market. Everyone's
29:56attitude is going to be completely
29:57different. And that's what you need to
29:59understand today's view of what's good
30:01and bad and who's smart and dumb. That's
30:04why I tell everyone, you must be very
30:06careful when you make a Rudy attack
30:08video of how much how bad and how I'm
30:10pumping garbage on people. You must be
30:12very careful bashing an LGS. You must be
30:15very careful bashing a Pokemon set is
30:17dog [ __ ] You must be very careful
30:20putting a permanent time capsule of an
30:22opinion of something being terrible on
30:25the internet unless you're going to
30:26delete it in the future because the
30:29perspective is not viewed the same every

30:44box of Obsidian Flames was viewed as
30:45complete Charizard or bust [ __ ] set.
30:48SVO3 was a dog [ __ ] set that I was
30:51laughed at. I think the third time I
30:52sold this [ __ ] for $5.99 for sealed
30:55cases. I think I, you know, maybe two to
30:573% of the patrons bought it and then two
31:00or 3% of the patrons closed their
31:01account, told me to [ __ ] off, and then
31:02another 2 3% probably returned it or
31:04just, you [ __ ] [ __ ] show because
31:07everybody viewed it as trash. Okay. Now,
31:10in 2026, this is a What year is this?
31:14It's a 2023 box. It's been three years.
31:18And you ask anybody now of SVO3 and
31:21everyone's going to give you very
31:22different. They're going to view it with
31:24a different set of lens. They're the
31:26colors are going to look different. What
31:28you think is good and bad is going to
31:29feel different. The you view things
31:32every year of your life as a human.
31:34You're a different person. Hopefully,
31:36just like me, I try to be a better
31:38person every year. Just like you guys, I
31:40hope you guys are better people every
31:41year. You're more open-minded. You're
31:43respectful to everybody. Doesn't matter.
31:45Young, old, black, white, trans,
31:48straight, gay, losing your hair, lot of
31:51hair, cool hair, you know, it doesn't
31:53matter what category of life you're part
31:55of. You could work in the restaurant
31:56world, the automotive world, doctor,
31:58teacher, lawyer, police officer. You
32:00could be anything. Every year of your
32:02life, you are a different person from
32:04last year to five. Ask any human what
32:06you were like five or 10 years ago. And
32:09most people will smile and say, "Oh, I
32:10was that was a different time, Rudy. I
32:12was in a different life." Everyone will
32:14tell you very, very different. And
32:17understand that is the evolution of
32:19humans, culture, our brain, growing up,
32:21getting older, and getting, you know,
32:23I'm still a complete [ __ ] Timmy. I'm
32:25just less stupid and less dumb than I
32:28was a few years ago. I'm still [ __ ]
32:30and stupid. That's me. I'm still an
32:32idiot, but I'm I like to believe I'm
32:35less stupid and I'm getting less things
32:37wrong than I did a year ago or five
32:39years ago. You're never going to be
32:40right 100% of the time. Anybody who
32:42claims that, you need to immediately be
32:44very suspicious of those people. You
32:46know, we all do the best we can. So, the
32:48reason I'm giving you guys that speech
32:50to end this video is remember everything
32:52I just said about viewing and changing
32:55the boxes in the sealed product changes
32:58just like you and I do. Okay. How you
33:02feel Lord of the Rings holiday special,

33:09How you feel today does not represent
33:122028 version of you. 2027, 2030, and God
