91. 2:59self-explanatory. Yet, a lot of people
92. 3:02don't know how to make these. So, I'm
93. 3:03going to break down everything I did for
94. 3:05this short right here. Uh, to start off
95. 3:08explaining what the short even is, this
96. 3:10is a Spanish commentary short. So, this
97. 3:12right here is in Spanish. If you guys
98. 3:13hear the voice over, it's actually in
99. 3:15Spanish, but it's the exact same thing
100. 3:17if you guys do it in English. I also
101. 3:19have English channels, obviously. Um,
102. 3:21but I the reason I made this channel and
103. 3:23the reason I made and start started a a
104. 3:26Spanish commentary channel is because I
105. 3:28feel like there was a big gap in the
106. 3:30market when it came to commentary
107. 3:32channels. There is commentary channels
108. 3:34in Spanish, but I've always seen like
109. 3:36viral English videos that I wish that
110. 3:38the Spanish market could uh see as well,
111. 3:40if that makes any sense. So, that's what
112. 3:42initially initially made me start this
113. 3:45channel. And this video right here is
114. 3:47about this like artist that does like
115. 3:49hand drawings like uh optic uh what is
116. 3:52it called? Optical illusions. And it's
117. 3:55basically it. So, as you can see right
118. 3:57here, I got the two clips. These clips,
119. 4:00I believe I got them from uh her
120. 4:01Instagram. Shout out to this artist. And
121. 4:05uh one of them, actually, no, I think
122. 4:06the one on the left was from her YouTube
123. 4:08and then the one on the right was from
124. 4:09Instagram. And what I did was I compiled
125. 4:12different um art of hers in the hand. So
126. 4:16I didn't just use one single optical
127. 4:18illusion. I compiled different ones. And
128. 4:20where this video really comes in is the
129. 4:22voice over that I added. So to break
130. 4:25down this video, it's the actual clip
131. 4:26itself, the voice over, all of the sound
132. 4:29effects, um and then the visuals, which
133. 4:32I think this one only has uh one arrow,
134. 4:35but yeah, that's basically it. and then
135. 4:37obviously the uh captions that I added
136. 4:40after. Um, a few things to keep in mind,
137. 4:44like a few things that I want to point
138. 4:45out that I think made this video do very
139. 4:47good is number one, this video itself,
140. 4:49like the clips itself are super super
141. 4:51interesting. Like these optical illusion
142. 4:53videos, I've had multiple viral videos
143. 4:55with like uh art type stuff like uh
144. 4:58because if you think about it, art is
145. 5:00like you're waiting until the end to see
146. 5:02the finished product or you like to see
147. 5:04transformations. Like, think about it. P
148. 5:07put yourself in a viewer's perspective.
149. 5:09You've probably been scrolling and
150. 5:10you've came across an art video and you
151. 5:12stay all the way till the end cuz you
152. 5:14want to see how the art comes out. So,
153. 5:17number one, and I talked about this in
154. 5:19another video that I made about how to
155. 5:21make viral commentary shorts, and one of
156. 5:22the things I talked about is that your
157. 5:24actual clip itself, the actual video
158. 5:26that you're using has to be interesting
159. 5:28enough to where people would watch it
160. 5:30without any commentary or without any
161. 5:32edits. So, if I came here and I muted
162. 5:34the commentary and I took out the
163. 5:36captions, would I still watch this video
164. 5:38on mute? Like, would I still watch this?
165. 5:40And the answer, to be honest, yes. I
166. 5:42love watching these little videos and it
167. 5:44seems like other people do. So, that
168. 5:46checked out. And I knew this was a good
169. 5:48video because I also saw a type of video
170. 5:51that someone did in English with these
171. 5:53clips. So, I was like, you know what?
172. 5:55I'm going to do it in Spanish.
173. 5:57And yeah, that was basically it. I then
174. 5:59added my script. So, I made this in 11
175. 6:01Labs. As you can see, this is an 11 Labs
176. 6:03voiceover. Let me let me let you guys
177. 6:05actually hear this real quick.
178. 6:11And then for those who don't know
179. 6:12Spanish, the this little um intro right
180. 6:15here, I added a suspense r sound effect.
181. 6:17So, from the beginning, people feel like
182. 6:20something is going to happen. And what I
183. 6:22say in the beginning is this is my hook.
184. 6:24I said this guy has a hole in his hand.
185. 6:27So, it's basically like a good hook. and
186. 6:29people are like, "What? Does he actually
187. 6:30have a hole in his hand?" Blah, blah,
188. 6:32blah. Because, as you can see, and then
189. 6:34people are going to stay. So, you always
190. 6:35want to make sure that you have a strong
191. 6:37hook. And I added this little suspense
192. 6:39rise, a little sound effect in the
193. 6:40beginning just to trigger the viewers
194. 6:43brains and satisfy them from the start.
195. 6:45So, uh uh you can see all of this
196. 6:48combined, the arrow, the sound effect,
197. 6:50and then the suspense rise. Look how it
198. 6:52looks together.
199. 6:55>> Boom. And that's the hook. this guy has
200. 6:58a hole in his hand and people are either
201. 7:00going to be confused, they're going to
202. 7:01be, you know, wanting to watch more
203. 7:04because they don't understand what's
204. 7:05going on. And then I start uh explaining
205. 7:07after the hook, I say, "Actually, this
206. 7:09is not a hole in his hand. This guy's
207. 7:11actually a professional artist that does
208. 7:13optical illusions, blah blah." You guys
209. 7:15get the point. You want to make a good
210. 7:17story line behind your your interesting
211. 7:19clip. I can't even talk. Um, and yeah,
212. 7:22that's basically all I did for the hook.
213. 7:24Little suspense rise. Boom. and then
214. 7:26into the storyline. So, a good hook that
215. 7:29is gonna catch viewers attentions or
216. 7:31it's going to make them sad, mad,
217. 7:33interest, interested, confused. I always
218. 7:35say this to everyone in the private
219. 7:37community. I'm always like, "Bro, you
220. 7:38have to cause emotions out of people in
221. 7:40the first few seconds. You have to make
222. 7:42sure that something sparks inside them."
223. 7:44For example, on my cop channel, the the
224. 7:47first clips that I use are always super
225. 7:49dramatic, right? I did a video where
226. 7:51this guy got pepper-sprayed in the face
227. 7:53in the first few seconds and people
228. 7:55automatically stayed because they were
229. 7:56mad at the cop pepper spraying the
230. 7:58innocent man and then I just cut it off
231. 8:01so they don't know what happens next and
232. 8:02they are kind of forced to watch. Kind
233. 8:04of what I did with this but this one is
234. 8:06kind of different. This one is kind of
235. 8:07like a storytelling, like a full
236. 8:09storytelling video where um I start off
237. 8:11with a strong hook, then I start
238. 8:13explaining that this guy does art and
239. 8:15then I made a little interesting story
240. 8:18uh just saying that this guy colors his
241. 8:20hand and he makes uh in in within
242. 8:24seconds he makes it look like something
243. 8:25else. And then I'm constantly showing I
244. 8:28think I showed around um I think this
245. 8:31was like six different optical
246. 8:32illusions. So every like I think every
247. 8:36like 10 seconds I change the optical
248. 8:38illusion. Yeah. So I did like four and
249. 8:40every 10 seconds I would change the
250. 8:42optical illusion. That way people
251. 8:43wouldn't get bored and they were looking
252. 8:44at something new. Cuz for example, if I
253. 8:47just used this last one. Whoops.
254. 8:51Um what did I do, bro? All right. If I
255. 8:53just use this last one right here and I
256. 8:56only did this singular optical illusion
257. 8:58and then I just left it for like 10 like
258. 9:01if they started with this one and they
259. 9:03just washed it all like I could have as
260. 9:05you can see I I turned this optical
261. 9:07illusion that was like 20 30 seconds
262. 9:10into like five to 10 seconds. You only
263. 9:13want parts that are necessary. You don't
264. 9:15want to make your video longer than it
265. 9:17needs to be, right? because in these 5
266. 9:19to 10 seconds I showed everything that
267. 9:21was needed to be seen start to finish.
268. 9:25Um, and I did that for each one of the
269. 9:26optical illusions. And yeah, that's
270. 9:29basically it for a viral short like this
271. 9:32is really super super crazy because a
272. 9:35short like this can generate you
273. 9:37hundreds to thousands of dollars. And
274. 9:39it's super simple to make. Have a good
275. 9:41clip, have a good story behind it, and
276. 9:43have, you know, satisfying visual edits
277. 9:46and sound effects behind your video. And
278. 9:48that's basically what makes a viral
279. 9:50video. And then at the end, I added this
280. 9:52like sound effect. Um this is a little
281. 9:54thing that I always do. Well, not I
282. 9:56always do, but um it's a it's a good
283. 9:59little trick I add in the end uh for my
284. 10:01drop off. I say even even if he's an
285. 10:04amazing artist, he only got three likes.
286. 10:07In this uh specific one, I said even
287. 10:10after all this, he only got two likes.
288. 10:11And then a little drop off sound effect.
289. 10:13Let me show you guys how this how this
290. 10:14looks.
291. 10:18Boom. With a little goofy sound effect
292. 10:20at the end. And this also sparked a lot
293. 10:24of rage in the comments of this video. A
294. 10:26lot of people were fighting that this
295. 10:28short didn't get two likes because
296. 10:30obviously a lot of people are not going
297. 10:32to understand what I'm saying. Like if
298. 10:33you say this short uh even after all
299. 10:36this he only got two likes. A lot of
300. 10:37people thought I meant the actual video.
301. 10:39So they went to the comments and they
302. 10:41were saying, "Bro, this this has 20k
303. 10:42likes. This doesn't have two likes."
304. 10:43Stuff like that. And a lot of people are
305. 10:46also gonna give it a like because they
306. 10:47feel bad and they think that this guy
307. 10:49actually only got two likes. So this is
308. 10:51basically a click to action without
309. 10:54necessarily saying subscribe to my
310. 10:57channel or subscribe if you like what
311. 10:59you saw or subscribe if you like this
312. 11:00video. You're making people comment and
313. 11:02making people like without even actually
314. 11:04telling them to do that. That's a very
315. 11:06good tip at the end of your videos and
316. 11:08um something I've been using for a lot
317. 11:10of my videos as well. But yeah, this is
318. 11:12basically everything. Um, I did use some
319. 11:15transitions and stuff like that as well,
320. 11:17like between the 20 second mark, so
321. 11:19halfway, almost like halfway through the
322. 11:21video, more than halfway through the
323. 11:22video. Again, this is just a visual so
324. 11:25people don't get like super, you're not
325. 11:26going to spam transitions. Like, I'm not
326. 11:28going to come here and then add a glare
327. 11:31to every single clip, you know what I
328. 11:32mean? But you want to add it every here
329. 11:34and there just to, you know, keep
330. 11:36viewers hooked because, as you can see,
331. 11:37I used one at the 9second mark, then I
332. 11:39used one uh 10 seconds after. So, it's
333. 11:42pretty well distributed throughout the
334. 11:44video and I'm not just spamming pullins
335. 11:46and and you know sound effects
336. 11:48everywhere. Same with the sound effects.
337. 11:50Look, they're not like spammed
338. 11:52everywhere. I just used them when I had
339. 11:53to. Um,
340. 11:56but yeah, that would basically be it on
341. 11:58how I made this short. Again, this is in
342. 12:00Spanish, but it's the same exact thing
343. 12:02for English commentary. It's the same
344. 12:04thing. And if you do this well enough,
345. 12:07like I'm showing you I'm showing you
346. 12:09guys all the sauce right here. This is
347. 12:11all they took. Literally, copy this
348. 12:13format if you want. Like, use the same
349. 12:15format that I used for this video, apply
350. 12:17it to your videos, and you guys should
351. 12:19do much better. But yeah, um if this
352. 12:22channel was monetized before this video
353. 12:24went viral, this short right here would
354. 12:27have made me probably around pro I would
355. 12:30guess like $1,000. Depending on the RPM,
356. 12:32it could be higher because for my other
357. 12:34channels, if I got 7 million views, I
358. 12:36would make like $1,400 with like a
359. 12:39almost 40 cent RPM, which is crazy.
360. 12:43And it took me probably like 30 minutes
361. 12:45to make this short, but yeah, this was
362. 12:48basically me breaking down this viral
363. 12:50short. I hope I showed everything. Um, I
364. 12:53I know you guys really like these
365. 12:54editing videos, and I always add little,
366. 12:58you know, exposure down. I always lower
367. 13:01the exposure, up the contrast, sharpen
368. 13:03the vids. But yeah, that's basically it.
369. 13:06I think I'm not missing anything. I hope
370. 13:08I'm not. I'm trying to really speedrun
371. 13:09through this whole video. Oh yeah, the
372. 13:11captions. A lot of people ask me about
373. 13:12my captions.
374. 13:14I just come here, go to um I go to
375. 13:17animation, then I go to captions, and I
376. 13:19use color bounce. Super good for
377. 13:20commentary channels. Um I don't
378. 13:23obviously use this these captions for
379. 13:25all my channels, but for commentary, I
380. 13:26usually do use these. But yeah, that's
381. 13:29basically it. Again, 7 million views is
382. 13:31not like a crazy amount, but for a small
383. 13:33channel that's starting, this right here
384. 13:35can get your channel monetized. And two,
385. 13:37it can really build your momentum. And I
386. 13:39I I wouldn't complain for getting 7
387. 13:41million in one short. And this is on the
388. 13:44low end. Honestly, a short like this can
389. 13:46pop off and go to like 20, 30, 40
390. 13:48million. I've seen shorts like these go
391. 13:50up to like 90, 80 million. I'm sure you
392. 13:53guys have seen them before. Um, it's
393. 13:55totally possible. Keep grinding. And as
