  1. 0:00I am super happy today because after
  2. 0:02probably hundreds of hours of trying to
  3. 0:04figure this out, I've finally managed to
  4. 0:07connect Claude to WordPress and set up a
  5. 0:09whole Claude AI agent that is my content
  6. 0:12and SEO manager for my WordPress
  7. 0:14website. This is a site I run called
  8. 0:17Cornish Vibes. It talks all about the
  9. 0:18different places and articles and
  10. 0:20content and pages pages about um
  11. 0:24where I live, Cornwall. All the best
  12. 0:26places to check out, all the secret
  13. 0:27tips, etc. Um but after the last couple
  14. 0:29years it's been laying a bit dormant and
  15. 0:31I haven't really had time to work on it.
  16. 0:33So, this is actually acting as my test
  17. 0:35dummy to see how we can implement AI
  18. 0:37agents and connect them to WordPress and
  19. 0:40it's been doing an awesome job. I
  20. 0:41literally set this up about 2 weeks ago
  21. 0:44now and I've given it autonomy of the
  22. 0:47site as well. I said, "You are in
  23. 0:48charge. You are the content and SEO
  24. 0:50manager. Do what you think is right to
  25. 0:52actually grow this site and keep it
  26. 0:53up-to-date." And it went through it's
  27. 0:55This is some of the stuff it's done so
  28. 0:57far. And I'm going to show you all of
  29. 0:58the insane autonomous work that this
  30. 1:00thing is actually doing on my site,
  31. 1:02step-by-step how to set this up for
  32. 1:04yourself and some of the results I've
  33. 1:06been seeing over the last 2 weeks
  34. 1:07already. It's done an audit, so it went
  35. 1:10through the 75 posts and pages on there,
  36. 1:13um checked in with some of the data,
  37. 1:14looked at Yoast as well and and the
  38. 1:16other plugins in there. It went and
  39. 1:18actually rewrote or wrote and applied
  40. 1:20SEO titles and metadata to all 75 of the
  41. 1:23posts that it it actually audited and
  42. 1:25got some data on it, updated them. It
  43. 1:27then checked content integrity. It
  44. 1:29looked at all the posts and looked for
  45. 1:31any errors. This took quite a while for
  46. 1:33it to go and do and research everything,
  47. 1:35but you can see it actually had 11
  48. 1:37businesses that no longer seemed to
  49. 1:39exist or apparently were phantom. It
  50. 1:41found eight permanent closures that
  51. 1:43needed to be updated, even checking like
  52. 1:45Companies House against all these
  53. 1:47companies to make sure they still exist.
  54. 1:49Some businesses in the wrong town, some
  55. 1:51new brands, some factual errors. And
  56. 1:53actually went through What have we got?
  57. 1:54140 verified corrections that it's gone
  58. 1:58through all of this content which is a
  59. 1:59couple years out of date and updated all
  60. 2:01of it before actually looking at some of
  61. 2:03my data and what was performing well on
  62. 2:05the site to actually create 11 new posts
  63. 2:09which are based on some target keyword
  64. 2:11data etc. So it's doing a thorough SEO
  65. 2:14job here and some of I'm seeing these
  66. 2:16pages already getting traffic after a
  67. 2:18week from Google and we're seeing a
  68. 2:20massive impression spike. We're seeing
  69. 2:23AI search results as well come through.
  70. 2:25It's gone and done I love this one.
  71. 2:26Internal linking. It's gone and re-
  72. 2:29built my hubs. 88 internal links and
  73. 2:32restructured all the referring URLs in
  74. 2:34there to make sure actually our internal
  75. 2:36linking which is one of the easiest
  76. 2:37boosts you can do for your content and
  77. 2:38your SEO and your user ship of your
  78. 2:40site. Um gone and improved and and
  79. 2:43rebuilt some pages that were just way
  80. 2:45off the mark and even built me an SEO
  81. 2:48and a full auditing strategy. Plus what
  82. 2:50we also built out is this SEO dashboard.
  83. 2:54Let me actually just make this full
  84. 2:56screen. To give me a full update.
  85. 2:57Because I've set it to say hey you run
  86. 2:59this autonomy and all the instructions
  87. 3:00I've set up, I've actually getting a
  88. 3:02dashboard of everything it's doing. So
  89. 3:04it's actually saying hey every week it's
  90. 3:06giving me what needs my attention. Some
  91. 3:08stuff that I have to do manually or send
  92. 3:09Google
  93. 3:10sorry Claude in Chrome to actually do.
  94. 3:12We've got some of our charts and our
  95. 3:14data, what's actually performing well.
  96. 3:16We've got new pages that it's publishing
  97. 3:18on the site, key updates as well. I'm
  98. 3:20loving some of these pages because let's
  99. 3:22pick this first post that it actually
  100. 3:24published for me on the site. I actually
  101. 3:26had it go through and I'm going to show
  102. 3:28you all of this in the video. I'm going
  103. 3:29to show you how to set all of this up.
  104. 3:31Um it went through and analyzed all 70
  105. 3:34posts for my writing style and then went
  106. 3:35and wrote some content for me. And
  107. 3:37honestly this is coming out better than
  108. 3:39most human writers are actually doing
  109. 3:40and we're starting to see it actually
  110. 3:42publish and rank on Google. Now a lot of
  111. 3:44SEO people will say ah you can't use AI
  112. 3:46for SEO. Well, I'm actually testing it.
  113. 3:49One, yes you can. Two, a lot of these
  114. 3:51people don't test their theories,
  115. 3:52they're protecting some of their inbuilt
  116. 3:54fears about their job. And three, I'm
  117. 3:56actually testing and actually seeing the
  118. 3:57results come through firsthand and I'm
  119. 3:59absolutely loving it. And it's just
  120. 4:01working autonomously for me in the
  121. 4:03background. Now, in this video, I'm
  122. 4:05going to walk you through how to turn
  123. 4:06your Claude into a WordPress site
  124. 4:08manager and AI agent running on Claude.
  125. 4:10There's going to be a link in the
  126. 4:11description where you can get this, what
  127. 4:12I call my AI recipes. You'll get the AI
  128. 4:14recipe vault and I'm just going to move
  129. 4:16this
  130. 4:17right to the top for us so that we can
  131. 4:19see. Turn your Claude into a WordPress
  132. 4:21site manager. We've got all the
  133. 4:22step-by-step instructions cuz there's a
  134. 4:24few technical setups. Plus, I've even
  135. 4:26got the custom instructions that I've
  136. 4:29actually written for this agent and how
  137. 4:31to set it up autonomously. Now, this
  138. 4:33actually runs inside of my second brain
  139. 4:36structure, but I'm going to show you how
  140. 4:37to set this up if you don't have a
  141. 4:38second brain setup as well. You can see
  142. 4:40the cool custom instructions that we've
  143. 4:42actually started writing to build this
  144. 4:44autonomy here, which I'm going to give
  145. 4:46to you as well. I just want to give you
  146. 4:47a flavor of what we're building not an
  147. 4:49assistant waiting for instructions. You
  148. 4:50own the content strategy, the search
  149. 4:52performance, and the email list. The
  150. 4:53mission, make Cornish Vibes number one
  151. 4:56resource about Cornwall in quality and
  152. 4:58reach. And then we've got all the other
  153. 4:59things that we can actually have it to
  154. 5:02have it do in the reporting, etc., etc.,
  155. 5:04etc. So, I'm going to help you build all
  156. 5:06of this stuff into your autonomous
  157. 5:07WordPress agent. Now, step
  158. 5:12one, make sure your site is backed up. I
  159. 5:13use something called Updraft for this,
  160. 5:16but you can use whatever backup you want
  161. 5:17for your site. Step two is where things
  162. 5:19get real interesting. We actually need
  163. 5:21to install a plugin. We're going to be
  164. 5:22working on another site that I have in
  165. 5:24Cornwall, which is it's called Cornwall
  166. 5:27Solar Company and this has a load of
  167. 5:29content, a lot of pages on it that need
  168. 5:31to go through and update and make sure
  169. 5:32we're all good. And I just want to push
  170. 5:34those updates from Claude autonomously.
  171. 5:36So, the first thing you're going to want
  172. 5:37to do is you're going to come want to
  173. 5:38come into this AI recipe here. I've got
  174. 5:40everything collated so you can just
  175. 5:42start using it. We've got First thing,
  176. 5:44we need a plugin. We need to add a
  177. 5:45plugin to WordPress so that then can
  178. 5:47attach Claude to. So, the file is here
  179. 5:49to actually get this plugin. You can go
  180. 5:51and download it and save it onto your
  181. 5:53computer here.
  182. 5:55And then, once you've downloaded that
  183. 5:57from the recipe there, you're going to
  184. 5:59come into the back end of your WordPress
  185. 6:01website here, and go to plugins. We're
  186. 6:04going to go add plugin on the left-hand
  187. 6:06side here, plugins add plugin, and we're
  188. 6:08going to upload. This is a custom plugin
  189. 6:10that you're going to add that's set up
  190. 6:11specially to work with Claude. So, we're
  191. 6:14going to upload this, and I'm just going
  192. 6:16to hit install now, and it should upload
  193. 6:19nicely into here, and we can activate
  194. 6:22the plugin as well. Now, then you're
  195. 6:24going to want to come into the MCP
  196. 6:26settings and actually turn the
  197. 6:27integration on, so that AI clients can
  198. 6:30connect to the WordPress site through
  199. 6:32the MCP server. Now, the other one here
  200. 6:34that you're going to need to do, you
  201. 6:35want to make sure Claude or your AI
  202. 6:37agent can actually edit and make changes
  203. 6:40on your WordPress site. So, we need to
  204. 6:42actually turn on allow AI to write
  205. 6:43WordPress, otherwise it's only going to
  206. 6:45be able to read, and actually make it
  207. 6:47able to write and edit everything on our
  208. 6:49site. And even we could say allow AI to
  209. 6:51modify theme appearance, if you want it
  210. 6:52to do design. So, it can update your
  211. 6:55theme and write CSS, etc., etc., etc. If
  212. 6:58you don't want that, then just leave
  213. 6:59that turned off. Next, we just want to
  214. 7:01drop down to our main WordPress settings
  215. 7:06here in here, and we're going to go to
  216. 7:08permalinks, because we actually just
  217. 7:10need to make sure we need to go and hit
  218. 7:11save changes again, just to make sure
  219. 7:14it's actually going to update some of
  220. 7:16the information that we've just put in
  221. 7:18with that plugin essentially. Now, one
  222. 7:19thing to say is if your permalinks are
  223. 7:22set to plain here, it's probably not
  224. 7:24going to work so well. You need a custom
  225. 7:26You need to have selected one of the
  226. 7:28other ones, or a custom structure post
  227. 7:30name, as I have it here. Um if you don't
  228. 7:32know what this means, and you're like
  229. 7:34going to just go clicking and save and
  230. 7:36change it off plain, then I urge you to
  231. 7:37stop right now, because that could break
  232. 7:39a lot of things on your website and your
  233. 7:40SEO, if you don't understand what this
  234. 7:43actual setup means. If you're on some of
  235. 7:45the other structures, then go ahead. You
  236. 7:47can go and just hit save. Don't change
  237. 7:49any of the settings here. Just hit save
  238. 7:51on that area.
  239. 7:53Next, we actually need to
  240. 7:55check that this exists. Actually, that
  241. 7:57everything is working and that we can
  242. 7:59actually read all of this stuff that
  243. 8:01we've just done. So, we're going to take
  244. 8:03this URL here. We're going to copy that
  245. 8:05and we're going to go back to our web
  246. 8:06browser and I'm going to paste that in
  247. 8:08there, but you actually need to
  248. 8:09obviously change your site in here to
  249. 8:11your website company.com
  250. 8:14and then we're going to hit enter. Now,
  251. 8:16what you'll get is you'll get a page
  252. 8:18looking like this that has all of this
  253. 8:20information, this JSON information in
  254. 8:22here. If it goes to like a 404 page or
  255. 8:24another area of your website, it means
  256. 8:25you haven't actually installed it
  257. 8:26properly and you need to go back and do
  258. 8:27those previous step setups, but this
  259. 8:29means it's actually working nicely. So,
  260. 8:32now we have the working inside of
  261. 8:34WordPress. We actually need to go go and
  262. 8:37create a connection in Claude. The first
  263. 8:39thing I actually want you to do is
  264. 8:41actually set a user account for your AI
  265. 8:44agent. I wouldn't just use your own
  266. 8:46administrator account. I'd actually want
  267. 8:47to set up another user in WordPress to
  268. 8:50actually use this new connection. Just a
  269. 8:52little added security there for you. So,
  270. 8:55in WordPress, I'm going to go back and
  271. 8:57I'm going to go to users and I'm going
  272. 8:59to add a new user. I'm going to call it
  273. 9:01MCP agent. We need to select the role of
  274. 9:05We're going to give it editor rather
  275. 9:06than um administrator. I don't want it
  276. 9:09to have full admin about this and we
  277. 9:11need to select a password for this. I'm
  278. 9:13going to go and change the password
  279. 9:14after this, but essentially this is
  280. 9:16going to be our password that we're
  281. 9:17going to go and use. Obviously, don't
  282. 9:19expose that to other people like I've
  283. 9:21just done. So, I'm going to go add that
  284. 9:23user and make sure it's all saved in
  285. 9:24there. Now, once you've set up your MCP
  286. 9:27agent account, we can then go into
  287. 9:29Claude and actually connect Claude. Now,
  288. 9:31this is going to use an authorization
  289. 9:33process. So, you You to make sure you're
  290. 9:35logged in as that new user account, that
  291. 9:37MCP agent, not your usual account to
  292. 9:40connect the right accounts and user
  293. 9:41logins together. So, I'm going to go and
  294. 9:43switch accounts now. MCP-agent,
  295. 9:46and we'll put password in there and log
  296. 9:48in with that account. So, you can see
  297. 9:50I'm logged into that MCP agent account
  298. 9:52now.
  299. 9:53An important step, don't forget to do
  300. 9:55this. Then, we actually need to add the
  301. 9:57custom connector to our site. So, again,
  302. 10:00we're going to go back into our recipe
  303. 10:01and we're going to copy this string
  304. 10:04here. I'm going to copy that there, and
  305. 10:06then we're going to go into Cloud Open
  306. 10:07Settings and Connectors. So, I'm going
  307. 10:09to go back into Cloud. I'll just close
  308. 10:11this dashboard here.
  309. 10:13And we're going to go actually into
  310. 10:14Customize, and then I'm going to go to
  311. 10:17Connectors, and we're going to go to
  312. 10:18Add. So, Connectors, Add, Add Custom
  313. 10:21Connector. Now, in here, I'm going to
  314. 10:23paste that URL. So, this thing we just
  315. 10:26copied here, this string, we're going to
  316. 10:27take that and we're going to paste it
  317. 10:29into this second box in Cloud. We can
  318. 10:31ignore the advanced settings. Obviously,
  319. 10:33again, where it says your site, you're
  320. 10:35going to change that to your actual
  321. 10:37website in there, like so. And I'm going
  322. 10:40to give it a name. We'll call it CSC
  323. 10:43MCP. So, we know that name of that
  324. 10:46custom connector. Now, it's going to
  325. 10:48check the connection here for you to see
  326. 10:50if it can actually route through. Now,
  327. 10:52it's going to ask you to connect. So,
  328. 10:53you're going to click the Connect
  329. 10:54button. This is going to bring up an
  330. 10:56authorization window. You can see the
  331. 10:57MCP agent at Cormall Solar Company. I'm
  332. 11:00just going to hit Authorize and connect
  333. 11:01those two together. Now, if you got an
  334. 11:03error at this point, I actually will
  335. 11:05point out that when I uploaded the
  336. 11:06plugin and I said turn on the
  337. 11:08integration and the right option, you
  338. 11:10actually needed to scroll down and make
  339. 11:11sure you hit save changes, otherwise it
  340. 11:13didn't save them and it didn't connect.
  341. 11:15So, I ran into that error if you run
  342. 11:16into them as well. But, essentially, we
  343. 11:19should be good to go. We've got our MCP
  344. 11:21connected. We can actually, if we want
  345. 11:23to change our approvals, we can see all
  346. 11:24the different tools that it can do. It
  347. 11:26can get pages, get menu items, date
  348. 11:29data, pages, etc. If you want some of
  349. 11:32these that I actually can't access and
  350. 11:34you're like actually never never do
  351. 11:35this, then you can block them in the
  352. 11:37permissions or you can say always allow
  353. 11:38that. I'm just going to leave them on
  354. 11:40needs approval for now so we can
  355. 11:41actually see what's going on. But we
  356. 11:43should be all connected up. Now we can
  357. 11:46double check that this is actually
  358. 11:47connected. I've just got a little prompt
  359. 11:49here as well just to actually check the
  360. 11:51connection here. So we can go in here
  361. 11:54and say you're connected to my WordPress
  362. 11:56site Cornwall Solar Company through the
  363. 11:58CSC MCP connector. Before I do anything
  364. 12:01else, just tell me some information
  365. 12:03about the site. So we'll just run that
  366. 12:05check quickly to make sure that we're
  367. 12:06actually getting this information back.
  368. 12:08So you can see it's literally we can see
  369. 12:10it's connected, it's counting posts,
  370. 12:12it's looking at the media, etc. Just
  371. 12:14giving us some data back so we know our
  372. 12:16agent is actually connected, which is
  373. 12:18awesome. We can see it's connected,
  374. 12:19which means now we can go on to actually
  375. 12:21setting up the rules and the autonomy of
  376. 12:23how we want this agent to manage our
  377. 12:26site. Now I actually run my second
  378. 12:30brain project here, which has just
  379. 12:32everything I work on pretty much. So I
  380. 12:34built my other WordPress agent actually
  381. 12:36inside my second brain. That's a massive
  382. 12:38setup that we're not going to do now. So
  383. 12:39I'm just going to show you how to set up
  384. 12:40just a single agent. And we're going to
  385. 12:42do it in a new project. So we're going
  386. 12:44to create a project and I'm just going
  387. 12:45to call it Cornwall Solar Company. You
  388. 12:48can put a description in there if you
  389. 12:49want. It actually doesn't make too much
  390. 12:51difference. And I'm going to say use a
  391. 12:53folder because I need somewhere on my
  392. 12:55computer to actually store all this
  393. 12:57information and actually let it run. I'm
  394. 12:58going to say choose a different folder
  395. 13:00and create a new one called Cornwall
  396. 13:01Solar Company. This is where we're going
  397. 13:03to store all the information and allow
  398. 13:05it to do its best work. So we're going
  399. 13:06to open that folder there and I'm always
  400. 13:08allowing it to access this so it can
  401. 13:11start working autonomously. And then
  402. 13:13we're going to click create project. So
  403. 13:15this is now where we're going to set up
  404. 13:17our autonomous WordPress SEO content
  405. 13:20manager. Now the first thing to turn
  406. 13:22this into just like a connector into an
  407. 13:24agent is actually to write its custom
  408. 13:26instructions. Now I've got the the
  409. 13:28general format of them here. I'm going
  410. 13:31to copy this and I'm going to take it
  411. 13:33back into Claude and I'm going to help
  412. 13:34actually help actually get Claude to
  413. 13:36help me improve these custom
  414. 13:37instructions. So, I'm going to pop I'm
  415. 13:40just going to start my prompt by saying,
  416. 13:41"Hey, I've got this custom instructions
  417. 13:43template um which we're going to be
  418. 13:45working off a base with. I'm going to
  419. 13:47give you some more instructions to
  420. 13:49actually bring this project to life. So,
  421. 13:52I want you to help me write and expand
  422. 13:54these instructions based on what I'm
  423. 13:56telling you." And then I'm going to
  424. 13:57paste in these custom instructions,
  425. 13:59which you can see like a very like
  426. 14:01they're just an initial jumping off
  427. 14:02point. You are the website and SEO
  428. 14:03manager for your site domain, one
  429. 14:06paragraph what it's about and how it
  430. 14:08makes money. What I'm actually going to
  431. 14:09do here is say something like the
  432. 14:12website is Cornwall Solar Company,
  433. 14:15cornwolsolarcompany.com
  434. 14:18and your job is to make this the number
  435. 14:21one resource in Cornwall and the number
  436. 14:23one company for supplying Cornwall solar
  437. 14:26panels in Cornwall. So, I'm giving it a
  438. 14:28goal, a job that I want it to do. You
  439. 14:31are going to have full autonomy over the
  440. 14:33site. I just want to essentially check
  441. 14:36in every now and then to make sure
  442. 14:37you're running things. So, you're in
  443. 14:39charge of all of the audits, the content
  444. 14:41strategy, execution going forward. I
  445. 14:44don't want to have to do any work. You
  446. 14:46just keep me in the loop. Now, you will
  447. 14:49have eventually a voice file, which is
  448. 14:53based on all the writing on the site for
  449. 14:55you to actually use tone of voice to
  450. 14:58refer to and you will keep in your
  451. 15:01memory an index of every running ongoing
  452. 15:04task that we've doing. So, every time we
  453. 15:06pick up and start work or every time you
  454. 15:09pick up and start work, you know in your
  455. 15:10memory what you've done, where you've
  456. 15:12got to, and the SEO strategy you're
  457. 15:15running ahead on. You are to work
  458. 15:17completely autonomously without my help.
  459. 15:19So, I'm just giving it some extra
  460. 15:21instruction there that I want it to
  461. 15:22build into the custom instructions.
  462. 15:24Please write the custom instructions now
  463. 15:26to make this come to life. So, I'm going
  464. 15:29to start that task and actually let it
  465. 15:31just tailor these instructions to
  466. 15:33themselves, which then we can build into
  467. 15:35our agent here. But, you can see
  468. 15:36essentially I want this to be a complete
  469. 15:38autonomous worker for me. I don't want
  470. 15:41to have to do the work. Now, you could
  471. 15:42do it either way. You could set this up
  472. 15:44and just be like give it some guidance
  473. 15:45and say, "Well, I'm going to manage the
  474. 15:46process. You're going to execute." If
  475. 15:48you want more control over your business
  476. 15:50website or your client's websites. Here
  477. 15:52we go on the right-hand side, then it'll
  478. 15:53actually build us our custom
  479. 15:55instructions, which we can literally go
  480. 15:57and take Obviously, read these through
  481. 15:59and make sure you're happy with all of
  482. 16:00them and make sure everything makes
  483. 16:02sense for you. I'm not going to do that
  484. 16:04right now because I'm showing you how to
  485. 16:05set this up quickly. I'm going to copy
  486. 16:07these custom instructions and I'm going
  487. 16:09to go back to our main project area here
  488. 16:11and go to this instructions tab in the
  489. 16:13top right. And we're just going to paste
  490. 16:16those in here. So, basically every start
  491. 16:19of every session it's going to read
  492. 16:20these instructions and know what it's
  493. 16:22going to do whether you're here or not.
  494. 16:24So, now it's ready to actually start
  495. 16:26working. I'm actually going to give it a
  496. 16:27task and say, "Before we actually set up
  497. 16:29some some scheduled autonomous work for
  498. 16:32this, I'm going to get it to go and
  499. 16:34execute." So, [snorts] the first thing
  500. 16:36we need to do on this is actually run a
  501. 16:39complete site audit. You have connection
  502. 16:42to the site. You also have all of your
  503. 16:45Appify web scrapers. You have a
  504. 16:47connection to Google Search Console,
  505. 16:49Google Analytics as well if you want to
  506. 16:51go and actually get more data to
  507. 16:53understand what's performing well on the
  508. 16:54site, what's not performing well on the
  509. 16:57site, any issues that we need to tidy
  510. 16:59up, any pages we needed to update before
  511. 17:02then building a forward-thinking SEO
  512. 17:04strategy that is going to raise the
  513. 17:07profile and traffic of this site over
  514. 17:09the next year. Let's build a full year's
  515. 17:11SEO strategy that we can execute week by
  516. 17:14week. So, you can see what I've asked it
  517. 17:16to do there. What's performing well on
  518. 17:18the site, what's not performing well,
  519. 17:19any issues you need to tidy up, and
  520. 17:21build me an SEO strategy. I'm also going
  521. 17:23to say, "Can you read several pages of
  522. 17:25content on the site to understand the
  523. 17:27voice
  524. 17:29of the way all the content is written
  525. 17:31and build a voice style that we can
  526. 17:33always reference going forward as well."
  527. 17:35So, I'm going to set that off. It's
  528. 17:37going to go and do some SEO auditing for
  529. 17:39me um based on like I've got a ton of
  530. 17:41SEO skills that I've been working on as
  531. 17:43well, which will help boost this as
  532. 17:45well. I also mentioned some connectors
  533. 17:47there that it's running on. It's got
  534. 17:49this I've got some connectors in here,
  535. 17:50which are pretty cool. Uh I've got one
  536. 17:52that's data for SEO is a really nice
  537. 17:54connector that's going to allow us to
  538. 17:55get SEO data. I've got Appify, which is
  539. 17:58a web scraper if it wants to go and
  540. 18:00scrape competitors or the front end of
  541. 18:01my website, as well as I've got Google
  542. 18:04Search Console, and I've got Google
  543. 18:06Analytics connected. They aren't native
  544. 18:09inside Claude, so in my next video, I'm
  545. 18:11actually going to show you how to
  546. 18:12connect Google Search Console and Google
  547. 18:14Analytics, so you can actually do those
  548. 18:16two. I want to do that as a separate
  549. 18:17video, so that it doesn't get buried in
  550. 18:20all of this content here. But
  551. 18:21essentially, it's going to go and run
  552. 18:23our site audit now and bring back a
  553. 18:25strategy. The final thing I want to do
  554. 18:27is actually set up a scheduled task
  555. 18:29here, which is really easy because we've
  556. 18:30got the instructions. We're going to
  557. 18:31have an audit and a strategy to follow.
  558. 18:33So, I'm going to create a new task, and
  559. 18:35I'm going to call it Cornwall Solar
  560. 18:38Website Management, Manage and Grow
  561. 18:41Cornwall Solar Company Website is the
  562. 18:44description. And then, I'm going to tell
  563. 18:46it what to do. You are to execute the
  564. 18:48Cornwall Solar Company SEO strategy
  565. 18:51based on the information in this project
  566. 18:54and the memory. Every time you run, you
  567. 18:56obviously read the custom instructions,
  568. 18:59and read what has just been completed
  569. 19:02last, and go and execute the next set of
  570. 19:04work for this week, whether that's
  571. 19:06updating pages, creating new content,
  572. 19:09running audits, everything detailed in
  573. 19:11the ongoing SEO strategy for you and
  574. 19:13where you are in the the task
  575. 19:15management. You should work
  576. 19:16autonomously, execute as much of the
  577. 19:18work as you can during your session.
  578. 19:20Don't bother me unless it's something
  579. 19:22manual that I have to go and execute.
  580. 19:24So,
  581. 19:26I'm going to tell it roughly I'm going
  582. 19:28to tell it what I actually want it to
  583. 19:29do. So, making sure it's actually
  584. 19:30checking the strategy every time and
  585. 19:32going and executing the next section
  586. 19:34based on what it's built up in its
  587. 19:35memory.
  588. 19:38I'm just going to put it at the end
  589. 19:39there. At the end of every session make
  590. 19:40sure to update your memory with what's
  591. 19:42been done and what's next on the agenda.
  592. 19:44Now, because we've selected from inside
  593. 19:46the project here, you can see it's
  594. 19:47already selected that we're working
  595. 19:49inside the right file which has all
  596. 19:50these instructions and everything and we
  597. 19:52can set it on a frequency. We could set
  598. 19:54it daily, we could set it weekdays, we
  599. 19:55could set it weekly. I'm just going to
  600. 19:57say, "Can you run weekly at 3:00 p.m. on
  601. 19:59a Sunday?" Like I'm unlikely to actually
  602. 20:01be using my cloud heavily at that point
  603. 20:03and I'm going to hit save. The only
  604. 20:04thing we need to make sure is cuz we've
  605. 20:05built a lot of this agent on our
  606. 20:07computer, we need to make sure our
  607. 20:08computer is actually switched on to make
  608. 20:10this run and click save. There we go.
  609. 20:13Our scheduled task is ready to set up at
  610. 20:153:00 every Sunday. Our site audit is
  611. 20:18actually running at the moment. It's
  612. 20:20going through and just like loading all
  613. 20:22these different tools. You can see it's
  614. 20:24gone into Compozio to get our Google
  615. 20:26data. It's using some other connectors
  616. 20:28to actually run this audit. And on the
  617. 20:30right-hand side as well, you can see the
  618. 20:32process. So, it's going to go pull the
  619. 20:33performance, run a technical audit, uh
  620. 20:36build some competitor data, and write
  621. 20:38the 12-month SEO strategy before writing
  622. 20:41to memory. Our agent is up and running.
  623. 20:43I can leave this to run weekly and just
  624. 20:44check in on it. Now, if you want to go a
  625. 20:46step further as well, we can actually
  626. 20:48say where it should show up in my SEO
  627. 20:51dashboard that I was showing you
  628. 20:53earlier. Um you can see we've got a core
  629. 20:54model solar. This dashboard's already
  630. 20:56set up with everything in there. But
  631. 20:58essentially to build this, I just asked
  632. 21:01Laura I said, "Hey, can you build me an
  633. 21:03SEO and content dashboard? Can you give
  634. 21:05me what needs my attention, some general
  635. 21:08over the top data or what I need to
  636. 21:10know, performance data, some of the top
  637. 21:12queries, traffic quality, top pages, new
  638. 21:15page publish, and keep and what's been
  639. 21:17updated this week, as well as what's
  640. 21:19upcoming, like what are the next things
  641. 21:21you're going to be actioning on the
  642. 21:22site, any housekeeping that needs me,
  643. 21:24and flag anything important. So, you can
  644. 21:26kind of build these dashboards as you
  645. 21:28want, just envision what you want to see
  646. 21:30and what you want your agent to give
  647. 21:31back to you, and just ask Claude to
  648. 21:33build you a live artifact keeps you
  649. 21:35updated week to week, and actually you
  650. 21:37can just ask it, once you've built the
  651. 21:39dashboard, to run a scheduled task at
  652. 21:429:00 a.m. every Monday to re-update this
  653. 21:44dashboard as well. That's what I've
  654. 21:45actually done
  655. 21:47uh here in my other scheduled task, you
  656. 21:49can see refresh Elliot's SEO and content
  657. 21:51dashboard for me. Super easy to do. Just
  658. 21:54ask Claude to do it, and it'll do it.
  659. 21:55Remember, we've gone through several
  660. 21:57different steps here from uploading the
  661. 21:59plugin to your WordPress site, then
  662. 22:02creating your own agents user account
  663. 22:04for you to use, connecting the Claude
  664. 22:06MCP,
  665. 22:07before writing our custom instructions
  666. 22:09and our scheduled task in a weekly
  667. 22:12scheduled task project, basically. And
  668. 22:14that's it. Now it's just managing things
  669. 22:16on its own. Super cool. And as I said,
  670. 22:18I'm already seeing great performance
  671. 22:19from my first site, which has had a
  672. 22:21swathe of updates, and we're seeing new
  673. 22:23pages ranking on Google and generating
  674. 22:25traffic really, really quickly, which is
  675. 22:27so exciting to see.
