This 2 Step Setup Works Every Time — M15 Sweep to M1 Entry — Transcript
Full transcript
- 0:00This is the simplest strategy I use. Two
- 0:02steps and works both directions, longs
- 0:05or shorts. And by the end of this video,
- 0:07you're going to see it play out on a
- 0:08real chart in both directions. No
- 0:10indicators, no complicated system. The
- 0:13M15 giving you a direction, a sweep
- 0:16telling you the move is about to happen,
- 0:18and the M1 for confirmation. Let me show
- 0:20you how it works. The first step is
- 0:22simply going on your M15 time frame and
- 0:24looking at the trend. Simplest way I
- 0:26like to do this is just look at recent
- 0:29highs and recent lows. Are we currently
- 0:32making lower highs and lower lows? Are
- 0:35we currently making higher highs and
- 0:37higher lows? If so, I'm purely looking
- 0:40for buys using the bullish sell. If the
- 0:42other one, I'm purely looking for sells
- 0:44looking for the bearish sell. That is
- 0:46it. Not that complicated. Now, based on
- 0:49that, we're looking for a sweep on this
- 0:51M15 time frame. Let me also show you
- 0:53what that means. So, if we are in that
- 0:56uptrend, okay, lows are are liquidity.
- 1:01It's pretty simple. These lows, okay,
- 1:04they can be any candle as long as it is
- 1:06a swing low on the M15. But, what is
- 1:10important is we need to see a sweep and
- 1:12it failed to close, or what I like to
- 1:14simply call, right, a
- 1:16FTC. It is that. So, I need to see price
- 1:19sweep this low on the 15-minute time
- 1:22frame, but not close below it. If it
- 1:24sweeps and closes below it, it's not
- 1:26right. If we sweep this and close below
- 1:29it, and I'm still If we sweep this and
- 1:30don't close below it, and I am still in
- 1:32an uptrend, this is a perfect sign. This
- 1:37is then when I want to drop down and
- 1:38start looking for an entry. So, I want
- 1:40to see see price sweep a low, remain in
- 1:43that trend, and then I start looking
- 1:46for a reversal.
- 1:47We cannot close below that low. Now,
- 1:50another interesting point is it needs to
- 1:52sweep with a bearish candle.
- 1:55This swing low can be any candle, but if
- 1:57we sweep with a bullish candle, this is
- 1:59a this is not right again. Can't use
- 2:01that. Don't ask me why. You want to make
- 2:02money or not? Then simply use the sweep
- 2:04as purely a bearish candle. Let's go
- 2:07into some examples and show you exactly
- 2:10what I mean. Here, on this NQ chart, you
- 2:14can see we are starting to push higher.
- 2:16So, this is what I want to see. I want
- 2:17to see a swing low, which can be any
- 2:19candle on the M15. Then price sweep that
- 2:23low. That market that swing low. We
- 2:25swept it and what did we do? Failed to
- 2:28close below it. This becomes a valid
- 2:30FTC. Why? A valid failed to close. Why?
- 2:34Because, as you can see, we swept the
- 2:36low with a down candle. This can be any
- 2:40candle. This has to be a down candle.
- 2:42Now, I can start looking for reversals
- 2:45back up after certain criteria is
- 2:46getting filled, but I just wanted to
- 2:48explain that first. Guess what? It's
- 2:50going to be the same if the M15 trend
- 2:53is in a
- 2:54down trend,
- 2:55highs
- 2:57are our
- 2:59liquidity. What do I need to see? A
- 3:00sweep, failed to close, okay? So, price
- 3:04failed to close, push lower. Pretty
- 3:06guess what I'm going to say next. This
- 3:08M15 had to close with a down candle.
- 3:10This now has to sweep, sorry, with a
- 3:12bullish candle, okay? In an uptrend, it
- 3:15has to sweep with a bullish and in a
- 3:17downtrend, it has to sweep with a
- 3:18bearish. And yes, this swing high can be
- 3:21any color. If we look at an example
- 3:24here, you can see price is clearly
- 3:27trending lower. So, what am I looking
- 3:29for? I'm looking for swing highs to be
- 3:32swept. What do we have here? We have a
- 3:35clean Oh, we have two swing highs. We
- 3:37have a clean swing high here. This swing
- 3:40high is any candle color. I don't mind.
- 3:44Most importantly, what did we do? We
- 3:46swept it. We failed to close above it.
- 3:50And then what did we do? We also swept
- 3:52with a bullish candle. If this was not
- 3:54with a bearish candle, we can't use it.
- 3:57That now tells me, okay, that this is
- 3:59going to be the high, the high of the
- 4:00sweep.
- 4:02I can start looking for shorts as long
- 4:04as we don't close above this. If we
- 4:05sweep it again and fail to close, it's
- 4:07still valid. As long as we don't close
- 4:09above this, I'm going to start looking
- 4:10for shorts, expecting our price to take
- 4:13out this
- 4:15low. Obviously, like I said, we're going
- 4:16to use confirmation and some other
- 4:18steps. The first step, as we saw,
- 4:20was the trend. The second step was
- 4:22getting this FTC with the correct
- 4:25colored candle. When we have this FTC,
- 4:28we can't just take every sweep and every
- 4:30FTC and think, "Yeah, we're going to be
- 4:31millionaires." You're going to be
- 4:32stupid, okay? We need it to be two
- 4:34things. Either, all right, we need to
- 4:36add a key area. Our key area is always
- 4:39our six-tap zones. 1 2 3 4 5. All right?
- 4:44So, that's my strategy. So, once we
- 4:47sweep that, two things here. We can
- 4:49either sweep this number four
- 4:52and get an FTC
- 4:55and I'll look for shorts, or
- 4:58we sweep number four, so I'm looking for
- 5:00shorts in this area here.
- 5:02And what do we get? We get something
- 5:04like this. So, let's say we get an FTC,
- 5:07I don't know, here.
- 5:10Like that.
- 5:12That is still valid. Why? Because we're
- 5:14still in our POI.
- 5:16We still have our six taps, and we now
- 5:18can look for shorts
- 5:20back down, okay?
- 5:22If I flip that,
- 5:24okay? What do we have here? Let's say we
- 5:26have
- 5:28a bullish zone.
- 5:31We can either sweep this number four
- 5:32with an FTC and look for a direct, or we
- 5:35sweep number four, come into the zone,
- 5:37get FTC, and then we can
- 5:40look for direct
- 5:42long. Okay, I promise you, it's not
- 5:44complicated. Shouldn't make sense. What
- 5:46one key thing is
- 5:49we cannot start doing this.
- 5:51Okay, let me fill in the background. We
- 5:53cannot start doing this, all right?
- 5:57Oh, FTC here. I'm just going to take my
- 5:59long line. What are we tapping into? Do
- 6:02we have a six cup?
- 6:03All right? No, there's nothing. You're
- 6:05just taking every FTC. What's going to
- 6:06happen? They're going to start looking
- 6:08for a long.
- 6:09You're going to be cooked. Still needs
- 6:10to be within your six tap zone or in or
- 6:16It still needs to be the sweep of four
- 6:18into your six tap zone or we get it
- 6:19whilst already in your six tap zone. If
- 6:22you're still confused, I'm going to show
- 6:23you some live examples. All right, when
- 6:25we look at this, we're also going to go
- 6:26into the lower time frame and look for
- 6:28entry confirmation on the M1. So, these
- 6:31examples here, I'm looking at the trend.
- 6:33I can see a break in structure to the
- 6:34upside, respecting bullish
- 6:38fair value gaps. Again, break structure
- 6:41to the upside and taking out a new high.
- 6:43So, just by looking at the
- 6:45I'm favoring uh buys over shorts. I can
- 6:48also see that we're inverting
- 6:50bearish gaps,
- 6:51respecting
- 6:53bullish gaps on this M15 time frame. I'd
- 6:55be a donut to look for a short compared
- 6:57to a long.
- 6:58Based on that, we have this swing break
- 7:00that's anchored swing low here.
- 7:03And we have our high up here.
- 7:10Now,
- 7:11where do we have swing lows? We have the
- 7:12first potential swing low here.
- 7:15Potential swing low here. Now, let's see
- 7:17what happens when we sweep them and then
- 7:18we come to see if they are valid or not.
- 7:21So, let's sweep this low. What do we
- 7:24need? We need it to sweep with a bearish
- 7:25candle and fail to close.
- 7:27In a downtrend,
- 7:29sweep with a bearish candle, fail to
- 7:31close. Now, let me drop down to my
- 7:331-minute time frame and see if I have
- 7:34any clear six tap. I'm starting to look
- 7:36for longs now.
- 7:37What do I have here?
- 7:40A clear
- 7:43six tap.
- 7:44So, is this valid?
- 7:46Yes. I can start looking for longs now.
- 7:48We have a bullish trend.
- 7:50We have a failed to close on the
- 7:5215-minute time frame.
- 7:54And we have a clear six tap on the time
- 7:56frame.
- 7:57What do I need for entry confirmation?
- 7:59Well,
- 8:01now again, I'm expecting this 15-minute
- 8:03sweep and failed to close to be the low.
- 8:04That's going to give me the high. So, I
- 8:05don't really want to see price come back
- 8:07below here.
- 8:08And I can see a great bearish and valid
- 8:10gap here. If we can inverse that,
- 8:14nice. I can start looking for my longs.
- 8:16On the pullback, stop was at the low.
- 8:19Target that high.
- 8:21Nice. Price came here.
- 8:24And boom, smashes.
- 8:26Take profit. The exact steps we did
- 8:29step-by-step. Now, I'll show you a
- 8:30bearish example. Step one as always was
- 8:32finding the trend. High, low, lower
- 8:36high,
- 8:37lower low, lower high.
- 8:39Looking to be what? Putting
- 8:41a lower low. That's our simple we need
- 8:43to be advised. What are we respecting?
- 8:45Respected this beautiful
- 8:48area of supply. This down to up here.
- 8:50So, I'm clearly bearish and my obvious
- 8:52target being this low here. Where does
- 8:54that bias change? Well, if I look at
- 8:57this
- 8:58price here, we made a new low,
- 9:01pulled back,
- 9:02and now we're making new lows. So, I'm
- 9:04expecting this
- 9:06to be the lower high. That's going to
- 9:07give me a lower low. This quite simply
- 9:08looks like a low,
- 9:10lower high, lower low. So, as long as
- 9:12this remains my lower high, I'm happy to
- 9:14look for shorts as long as we respect
- 9:16this high, looking for price to take out
- 9:19this low.
- 9:20Where do we have any swing highs here?
- 9:23A 15 swing high here.
- 9:25A 15 swing high here.
- 9:27A 15 swing high here. Again, not all of
- 9:30them are going to be
- 9:31um right. For example, this one here,
- 9:35All
- 9:36Let's just purely focus on this here.
- 9:39If we swept that, what would that look
- 9:40like on a lower time frame?
- 9:43It would be a tap into this zone here,
- 9:46but this zone is fully mitigated. Price
- 9:48left this area, returned into it, pushed
- 9:50lower. So,
- 9:51this wouldn't be right.
- 9:53We need to make sure it is a clean six
- 9:55tap.
- 9:57>> [cough]
- 9:57>> On the lower time frame point of view,
- 9:58but
- 10:00let's just keep the swing highs marked
- 10:01out for now to keep it easier and see
- 10:04the amount of getting that remember I
- 10:05asked you to be the bullish candle.
- 10:08Okay, adjust it. So,
- 10:10let's skip the bit ahead there, but
- 10:12we swept this
- 10:14high up here and also this high on the
- 10:16same candle. But, most importantly,
- 10:18bullish candle
- 10:20failed close.
- 10:21So, we can mark this as
- 10:24an FTC. Now, is this a clean six tap?
- 10:26Oh, yes, because I can really see it
- 10:28here. If I look at the higher time frame
- 10:29structure, we're in a high, low, high,
- 10:32low, high, low.
- 10:34Boom, so.
- 10:36This is where the origin is, right?
- 10:37Where we shifted, that change of
- 10:38character from bullish to pullback
- 10:40stopped and the expansion started.
- 10:43You can see a clean one, two, three,
- 10:46four,
- 10:48five. Very nice, very simple.
- 10:51So, I'm now looking for what? Drop down
- 10:53to my lower time frame.
- 10:55I need a one-minute shift again. I'm
- 10:56expecting this high now to be the high,
- 11:00which is going to give me the lower low.
- 11:03One-minute shift. I'm just looking at
- 11:04that price to close nice and strong
- 11:06below this low here.
- 11:09There was the close. Entry here, stop
- 11:11here, stop loss on
- 11:13the target
- 11:15that external low.
- 11:17And that's good dumps towards TP. And
- 11:21that's it. Just follow those steps every
- 11:23single trade. The simplicity is the
- 11:25whole point. When the rules are this
- 11:27clear, there's no error or no space to
- 11:29start second-guessing. If the setup is
- 11:31there,
- 11:32or it isn't. If you do want to work with
