- 0:01What's good YouTube and welcome back to
- 0:02the channel. Today we are going to be
- 0:04doing a postbless tier list. These are
- 0:08the decks that I think are going to be
- 0:10the best going into this little sub
- 0:12format right before Magnificent Maestros
- 0:15and the release of Tunes in November.
- 0:17These are the decks that I think are
- 0:19going to be the best. And I'm going to
- 0:22give a very brief description of why I
- 0:24think these decks are good or bad in any
- 0:26given format and kind of like a
- 0:29postbless analysis on how the ban list
- 0:32affected these decks and whether or not
- 0:33I think they're going to be good moving
- 0:35forward. So, first things first,
- 0:37starting with branded Rolad. Um, I think
- 0:40that branded Rolad going into the next
- 0:42format is going to be a top 32 to top 64
- 0:45deck. I still think that people are
- 0:47going to play it. It does have a fairly
- 0:49good angelic matchup. Part of the reason
- 0:51why I had a good angelic match up was
- 0:53because of Griefo. Now that grief is at
- 0:55one, you're going to be opening Griefo
- 0:57way less often than before. But I still
- 1:00think that the deck has the tools in
- 1:02order to counter Angelic pretty well.
- 1:05And for those reasons, I do think that
- 1:07people will continue to play it. I also
- 1:08think that the deck is honestly just a
- 1:10fan favorite deck and people really like
- 1:13um branded Roland. I know that the
- 1:15branded engine has been hurt, especially
- 1:18without Albon, and I think that maybe
- 1:20calling it branded Rolad is the wrong
- 1:23way because I don't know if people will
- 1:25play it with the branded engine, but I
- 1:28do think that Rolad in general is um
- 1:31really really strong and people will
- 1:33continue to play it. The next deck is
- 1:35Fairy Tale, Indemian, Spellcaster, Slop,
- 1:39whatever you want to call it. I think
- 1:41that this deck is a top 32 to top 64
- 1:44deck. I know some people will say
- 1:45otherwise and put this deck a lot higher
- 1:47on their tier list. I honestly don't see
- 1:49it. I think that this deck is very
- 1:51strong going first and is a FTK deck,
- 1:54but every deck pretty much that we're
- 1:55going to be talking about is very strong
- 1:57and FTK is going first. I think this
- 1:58deck is terrible going second. I think
- 2:00this deck has no unique non-engine that
- 2:03it can play that gives it an advantage
- 2:04over any other combo slop deck that's
- 2:07trying to play hand traps. And yeah, I
- 2:09don't think that this deck's angelic
- 2:11matchup is that great, which I think is
- 2:12going to be a big thing going into the
- 2:14next format for why I think a deck is
- 2:16good or bad. I do think that as opposed
- 2:18to the role variants, it still has
- 2:20consistency. It's pretty much gone unhit
- 2:22on the ban list other than losing
- 2:23Charmer Quartet, which does hurt this
- 2:25deck. Um, this deck was one of the best
- 2:28decks that used Charmer Cortet. And now
- 2:30that Charmer Cortet is banned, that is a
- 2:32small hit to this deck. However, I do
- 2:34think that this deck will continue to
- 2:36see more play cuz it isn't really seeing
- 2:38too much play right now, but I think
- 2:39it'll see more play in the future. The
- 2:42next deck is D Heroes, and I'll put D
- 2:45her Heroes in day two. Um, I think that
- 2:47this deck is not that good, but and a
- 2:51lot of their combos loosen Nibiru, but
- 2:53at the beginning of this next format, I
- 2:54think less people are going to be main
- 2:56decking Nibiru just out of fear of
- 2:57Angeliki. Like, that card is terrible
- 2:59against Angeli. And I expect Alangeliki
- 3:01to be the most represented deck going
- 3:03into the next format. It already seemed
- 3:05like it was one of the most represented
- 3:07decks pre-band list having three out of
- 3:10the eight slots in top eight tied with
- 3:12Elf Note, which is an an extremely
- 3:15impressive feat for its debut um
- 3:18tournament pretty much at full power as
- 3:20a pure Angelic deck. So I think that
- 3:22going forward now that Elfno has been
- 3:24hit a bit, people are going to be
- 3:26looking at Angelic. We've already seen
- 3:28um cards from Angelici like almost
- 3:30double triple in price. Cards like um
- 3:33strategy game are almost like $50 for an
- 3:35ultra rare which is really really crazy.
- 3:38Um so yeah, people are really hyped for
- 3:40Angelici. Pretty much going unhit on the
- 3:42last ban list. Next is my baby Art Mage.
- 3:47I think that Art Mage is one of the best
- 3:49decks of the format. Like I said last
- 3:51format, I thought that Art Mage was the
- 3:53best deck of the format, but it alpha
- 3:54matchup was so abysmal. I thought that
- 3:56it was holding it back. I still think
- 3:58that's true. I think Art Mage's success
- 4:00is purely going to be based on how many
- 4:02people play Elf Note. If a lot of people
- 4:04don't play Elf Note and move to other
- 4:06decks, then I think Art Mage is going to
- 4:07thrive in this format. However, if
- 4:10people try to salvage their investments
- 4:13into the art uh Elf Note deck and try to
- 4:16uh play the deck in different ways, then
- 4:18I think that Art Mage will suffer a bit.
- 4:20However, I think overall Art Mage's
- 4:22position is just way better than it was
- 4:23last format. Uh, speaking of Elfnote, I
- 4:26still think that Elfnote is a um
- 4:28tournament winning deck. I do think that
- 4:30it is a lot worse without Tinia. I think
- 4:33losing Tinia, you lose a bit of
- 4:35consistency. It makes your lines a
- 4:37little bit more awkward. It also makes
- 4:39your June pride like turn zero worse.
- 4:41Like resolving Regina turn zero feels a
- 4:43lot worse with Alinia. just having like
- 4:45a spell trap bounce plus a monster
- 4:47bounce plus some engine recursion while
- 4:50it's still extremely powerful like that
- 4:52banish from the hand like in order to
- 4:54like widow your opponent's resources was
- 4:56a big deal also like having Tenia hand
- 4:58rip on like a half board was really
- 5:00really powerful um and you kind of just
- 5:02lose access to home um welcome home
- 5:05completely unless you use your um uh elf
- 5:08no power patron to specifically search
- 5:10the card out and I've seen some lists
- 5:11going as far as to even cut homecoming
- 5:13because tiny is banned which I don't
- 5:15necessarily disagree with, but I need to
- 5:17do my own research on the Elfno deck to
- 5:19see if it's still worth playing
- 5:20homecoming without Tenia, but some
- 5:23people have decided not to.
- 5:25The next deck is Doomsy. I'm going to
- 5:27put Doomsy in day two. I'm going to put
- 5:31it against um above Destiny Heroes. I
- 5:33think it's a better deck than Destiny
- 5:34Heroes, but I I do think we've all come
- 5:37to understand it is the worst of the
- 5:39media lore decks. It gets to take the
- 5:41least amount of advantage from the power
- 5:43patron cards and Arsmagna cards and its
- 5:46ceiling is way lower than the rest of
- 5:48the the other two decks being Art Mage
- 5:51and Elf Notnote. I think his ceiling in
- 5:52comparison is way too low and it suffers
- 5:55a lot from that. So yeah, I think that
- 5:58uh Doomsy is a day dude day two deck.
- 6:00The next deck is Pure Power Patron. I'm
- 6:03going to put this deck in top 16. I
- 6:06don't want to put it in the top eight
- 6:07area because I don't know what this deck
- 6:09wants to do now. Like it lost Charmer
- 6:11Quartet. It lost Verudras. It lost Zena,
- 6:14which a lot of his combos were using
- 6:15Zenna in order to do um goofy things. I
- 6:18know that you can play Mercurium the
- 6:20Quicksilver because God knows why that
- 6:21card is not banned after banning 34
- 6:23cards. But anyways, um so you can still
- 6:26do some interesting things and try to do
- 6:28some FTK combos. But I think that this
- 6:30deck is really weakened to Fua. I think
- 6:31Droll going to one was really good for
- 6:33this deck. So that's why I think this
- 6:34deck is a little bit better than it was
- 6:35before. But this deck still loses to
- 6:37FUA, and I still think this deck is
- 6:39pretty poor going second. I don't think
- 6:40the fact that this deck can play dominus
- 6:42cards is enough to make this deck a good
- 6:44deck going second. Um yeah, the next
- 6:47deck is, shout out to Enzo. Um Enzo
- 6:52Click. I think Enzo Click in the TCG um
- 6:55is probably a day two deck. I don't I
- 6:58don't think it's that good. I know that
- 7:00uh Sako thinks that it has a really good
- 7:02angelic matchup and I think that
- 7:04obviously it destroys cards. It has
- 7:06access to pretty unique non-engine
- 7:08cards. Um things like um Gordian slicer
- 7:12which I think are like very powerful. Um
- 7:14so it has some things going for it but I
- 7:17think that his engine is just very
- 7:18inconsistent and that has not changed.
- 7:21Um nothing has changed to make the
- 7:22engine more consistent and you drawing
- 7:24your uh combinations better. So I for
- 7:27those reason I think that it's capped at
- 7:29a day two deck. The next deck is
- 7:31branded. Shout out to my my lead mod. Um
- 7:36I don't want to put this deck in like
- 7:38and subscribe. To be honest, I don't
- 7:40think I have a single deck that I would
- 7:42put in like and subscribe.
- 7:44I [sighs]
- 7:46I think Branded might be the closest
- 7:49that I put to like and subscribe other
- 7:51than just D heroes. Like these honestly
- 7:53could be here. Um I I don't I don't
- 7:59think anyone is going to play Branded.
- 8:00Like the deck already had a suspect
- 8:03Angeli matchup with Albian, but now you
- 8:06have no Albian in order to like properly
- 8:08recur your FMVs in order to try to break
- 8:10the board. And then this deck is
- 8:12terrible going second against the combo
- 8:13decks and FM like Albon like searching
- 8:16an FMV during the end phase or like
- 8:18getting your plays going during the end
- 8:20phase was so powerful for this deck. and
- 8:22losing two copies of high spirits, which
- 8:24was your best starter and two copies of
- 8:27opening. While yeah, it doesn't matter,
- 8:28but having multiple openings matters
- 8:31when your consistency is hurt and your
- 8:32ceiling is hurt. You want to be able to
- 8:34get to at least your plays more often.
- 8:37So, opening probably would have been a
- 8:38two to three of if they only hit high
- 8:40spirits and Albian. But hitting opening
- 8:42also is just like it's overkill. Like
- 8:44the memes are all true. like they really
- 8:46went super hard on Branded for no reason
- 8:48realistically, but they did a good job
- 8:50at removing it from the format. So, I
- 8:52think that yeah, like Branded is rogue
- 8:54at best. I I don't think that it's that
- 8:56good.
- 8:58The next deck is Sky Striker. I want to
- 9:00put Sky Striker in the top 16 area.
- 9:03Shout out to my boy Jason. He ended up
- 9:05getting, I believe, top 32 or top 64
- 9:08with Striker at um Houston, but he
- 9:11started off day one 900. He literally
- 9:13went 900 day one first after Swiss was
- 9:15Sky Striker of all things. I think that
- 9:18this deck has a really good angelic
- 9:20matchup and if you have a good weekend
- 9:22and you play against mostly Angelici,
- 9:24you're actually going to go crazy.
- 9:26So, I think that like Sky Striker having
- 9:29a really good angelic matchup is going
- 9:31to propel this deck um more than it
- 9:35having like a good combo matchup because
- 9:37I don't think that it has a very good
- 9:38combo matchup. The next deck is Trains
- 9:41or like Earth Machine, whatever you want
- 9:42to call it. I think that um putting this
- 9:46deck Gustaf Max to one really hurts this
- 9:48deck. This deck was already not seeing
- 9:50much play. Um I think that this deck can
- 9:53go into like and subscribe. Like I I
- 9:55don't think that this deck was a good is
- 9:56a good deck. Uh I remember when um Sean
- 10:00Pitman was saying that Earth Machines
- 10:02was better than Art Mage. That just
- 10:04showed me what he knows about Yu-Gi-Oh.
- 10:06That was crazy. Earth Machine is
- 10:08terrible. It's been terrible. It's a
- 10:11YouTube combo deck that got hit on the
- 10:13ban list because people were crying
- 10:14because of a YouTube combo deck. Shout
- 10:16out to DB Grinder. This deck sucks and
- 10:19they just made it worse by hitting
- 10:20Gustaf Max one. So yeah, I think that
- 10:23this deck is not that good. The next
- 10:26deck is Malice. I want to put Malice at
- 10:29the top of top 16. I think that this
- 10:31deck is actually really really strong
- 10:33right now. Like very very strong right
- 10:35now. Um, it's one of the best hand trap
- 10:38decks and it's a really strong combo
- 10:39deck. So, I think that this deck has a
- 10:42lot going for it. It can play impulse.
- 10:44Its engine is pretty intact and I think
- 10:46it has a good angelic matchup um because
- 10:49of the non-engine that it's able to play
- 10:51and I think it's combo matchup is fairly
- 10:53even. Like it can play a lot of
- 10:55non-enine as opposed to some of the
- 10:56other combo decks and has access to
- 10:58impulse with no like drawbacks as
- 11:00opposed to elf note. But um yeah, so I
- 11:03think that Malice is actually in a
- 11:05really cool spot and it's better than
- 11:06it's been in the last four to five
- 11:08months, I would say. Um
- 11:11the next deck is Sacred Beast. Sacred
- 11:14Beast is another deck that I want to put
- 11:16in this top 16 area. I think that this
- 11:19deck um doesn't get enough burn, at
- 11:22least in America, and Europe is seeing a
- 11:24lot more play and a lot of a lot more
- 11:26better players are playing Sacred Beast.
- 11:28And I think that this deck is good. For
- 11:30sure good. Um, and I think it's very
- 11:32much underexplored in the current
- 11:34format. So, I would say that yeah, I
- 11:37think that this deck is pretty good. Uh,
- 11:39the next deck is Invoked.
- 11:42I know a lot of people are hyping up
- 11:43this deck right now. I personally don't
- 11:46see it. I think that I'd probably put
- 11:50Invoke similarly to like where I put
- 11:53Sacred Beast. It's like a deck that I
- 11:54think is a little bit underexplored. I
- 11:56know. Shout out to my man Shannon. like
- 11:58he one tricks the out of this deck
- 11:59and he was doing pretty good day one at
- 12:01Houston. I don't know what happens to
- 12:02him day two, but um yeah, like invoked
- 12:07it's not terrible. Like Aon is a crazy
- 12:09card. Oceanis is a crazy card. Like the
- 12:11deck has access to a lot of very
- 12:12powerful cards. Super poly is extremely
- 12:14good in this deck. So yeah, I I think
- 12:17that it's all right. I will say that. Uh
- 12:19the next deck is Radiant Typhoon.
- 12:21Radiant Typhoon I would put in the top
- 12:2432 area. I think that this deck has
- 12:26gotten a little bit better. I think his
- 12:27angelic matchup is really good. And if
- 12:30you're trying to make a meta call and
- 12:31you want to play something that you
- 12:33think has a really good angelic matchup,
- 12:36um you can play Radiant Typhoon and
- 12:37probably have a really deep tournament
- 12:39run. Um if you queue into a lot of
- 12:41angelic, which I think that a lot of
- 12:43people are playing Angeli. Um people
- 12:45just like the deck and it's funny, I
- 12:47guess. Like people like being um sickos
- 12:49and burning their opponent to death or
- 12:51stunning them out of the game with the
- 12:53king. So So yeah. And then I think last
- 12:57but not least is the deck that I think
- 12:59at least at the beginning will be the
- 13:01best deck of the format which is
- 13:03Angelic. Um the deck just has a lot
- 13:05going for it. Like going first your stun
- 13:07deck, you set up your lock. If your
- 13:09opponent does not have an out to your
- 13:10lock, you auto win the game. Some decks
- 13:13just cannot beat this deck's lock and
- 13:15you will auto lose the game to the lock.
- 13:17Um going second, you play the most
- 13:19non-engine. Like I was talking with
- 13:21Sako, he was saying he was main decking
- 13:2224 hand traps and postside he was going
- 13:25to 27. So most of his deck was hand
- 13:29traps postside. Um also going for the
- 13:31deck is siding cards like inspector
- 13:33border which is an insane card just to
- 13:35try to beat hand traps that you would
- 13:37use against the deck. The best hand trap
- 13:39hands down against the deck was Griffle
- 13:40into spell shattering sword. Konami,
- 13:43I don't know if it was a strategic hit,
- 13:45but Konami decided to remove Spell
- 13:47Shattering Sword Griffle combo from
- 13:49every deck's arsenal except for decks
- 13:52that are strictly rolet deck. So, um,
- 13:54there the best hand trap against Angeli
- 13:57got removed. So, that's also a big boost
- 13:59to Angeli. That was like the one hand
- 14:01trap that they really couldn't do much
- 14:02about. So, yeah, like Angeli has a lot
- 14:06going for it right now in the upcoming
- 14:08format and it's for sure at least the
- 14:10deck to beat. Um,
- 14:13will it stay the best deck? I don't
- 14:15know. But like I said, it's for sure the
- 14:17deck to beat going into the upcoming
- 14:18format. And with that being said, I hope
- 14:21you guys enjoyed the video. Let me know
- 14:22in the comment section below if I missed
- 14:24any of your favorite decks or if there's
- 14:26anything that you disagree with. And I
- 14:28will catch you guys on the next one.
- 14:30Peace.
