- 0:00Welcome into the Flapjack Flipper. This
- 0:02is the Headless Horseman speaking here
- 0:04today, ladies and gentlemen. New alltime
- 0:06high in the public account. Posted this
- 0:08on my X page here today. 4.862
- 0:11million. Congratulations to everybody
- 0:14out there hitting all-time highs in your
- 0:15portfolio. Um, unbelievable to see,
- 0:17right? And you may say like, how is this
- 0:19possible? Because you're looking at the
- 0:20biggest stock in the public account,
- 0:22AMD, [clears throat]
- 0:24not doing so well, right? Well, we got
- 0:27so many stocks picking up the slack on a
- 0:29day like today when AMD is really weak.
- 0:31And you so you look at Meta. Meta's up
- 0:32almost $20,000 here today. Service Now
- 0:35is up 12,000. Salesforce up 11,000.
- 0:37Cheese Cheesecake Factory up 8,400.
- 0:41Celsius up 7,800. Palunteer up 6600.
- 0:44Palanteer is pretty hot lately. And uh
- 0:46Netflix up 6,300. On up 5,800. Uh E up
- 0:512500. Google McDougall up 2200. SoFi up
- 0:532,000. Right. So, we have a lot of
- 0:55stocks really picking up the slack on a
- 0:58day that AMD is down and then it seems
- 0:59like on days when AMD is doing well. Uh,
- 1:03it's just like, you know, the other it
- 1:05just way outweighs everything else. And
- 1:06so, we're just in a very very I would
- 1:08call it a sweet spot right now, which,
- 1:10you know, you just got to be thankful
- 1:12for being in that sweet spot, right?
- 1:13And, uh, if you look at the market since
- 1:15May, we've been in a real kangaroo
- 1:17market, right? This is a real kangaroo
- 1:19market. It's gone nowhere. This is since
- 1:21about I think I pulled up May 8th here,
- 1:23right? And so this is what we call a
- 1:25kangaroo market. It's going up, it's
- 1:26going down, but it ain't going nowhere.
- 1:28And that's exactly what's going on in
- 1:30this market. And so I posted this inside
- 1:32the private group here today inside the
- 1:33breadcrumbs tab. I said, if you've been
- 1:35hitting all-time highs the past few
- 1:36months, good for you. Real uh real
- 1:39kangaroo market we've been in since May.
- 1:41Uh you are positioned really well if you
- 1:44can keep hitting all-time highs in a
- 1:45kangaroo market. And uh so just
- 1:47understand, give yourself a pat on the
- 1:49back. Give yourself a thumbs up if you
- 1:51are out there and you're hitting
- 1:52all-time highs despite a kangaroo
- 1:53market, right? And this really goes to
- 1:56illustrate. I want to do something
- 1:58important. Okay, listen. This really
- 2:00goes to illustrate the point of how much
- 2:03money can be made in the market. Even in
- 2:05a kangaroo market, I always tell you
- 2:06guys there's always money to be made in
- 2:07the market. I don't care if we're in a
- 2:08bull market, if we're in a kangaroo
- 2:10market, or we're in a bare market.
- 2:11There's always money to be made if you
- 2:14know what you're doing in this game. And
- 2:15so if you look, this is the NASDAQ
- 2:17performance since that, you know, kind
- 2:19of early May time frame, right? It's
- 2:20gone nowhere. Just a kangaroo.
- 2:22Meanwhile, under that same time, AMD
- 2:24[clears throat]
- 2:25is up 13%. E's up 15%. Palunteer up 27%.
- 2:31MU up 28%. CRM Salesforce up 44%. Honest
- 2:36up 48%. Service Now 56%.
- 2:41Elf on a Shelf 58%. And jeez, Cake
- 2:45Factory, the greatest stock in the
- 2:46world, up 70%.
- 2:48Look at those moves up. Look at how much
- 2:50money there's been out there to be made
- 2:52even with a NASDAQ that has gone
- 2:54absolutely nowhere. Right. Three core
- 2:56subjects I want to get into in this
- 2:57video here today. Okay, first one up
- 2:59here is what are my plans with the
- 3:02public account. We're going to talk
- 3:03about moves I might be looking at that
- 3:05portfolio is getting very very close is
- 3:07flirting with going to 5 mil, right? So,
- 3:09we're talking about like where I'm going
- 3:11to position up next, what moves I might
- 3:13make. I want to talk about where my
- 3:15mindset is in regards to each and every
- 3:18individual stock in there, so everybody
- 3:19can get a glimpse of my picture on every
- 3:21single stock. Okay. Two, I'm going to
- 3:24give some advice for everybody out there
- 3:25that you're near all-time highs in your
- 3:27portfolio or you're at all-time highs
- 3:29right now. Okay. And the third subject
- 3:31we'll get into here today is uh some
- 3:33stocks that are next up to soar. I need
- 3:36you to do one thing, one thing only for
- 3:38me here today. I need you to just smash
- 3:40that like button for me if you could do
- 3:41that. That would mean the world. If you
- 3:43haven't already done it, I appreciate if
- 3:45you did it. If you did already do it,
- 3:47thank you so much. You're the best. Make
- 3:48sure you subscribe to the channel as a
- 3:50sign of my garage says. Okay, ladies and
- 3:52gentlemen. Okay, so let's start out.
- 3:54Let's look at the public account. I want
- 3:55to talk about every single stock in
- 3:57here. I want to talk about my plans if I
- 4:00want to sell these stocks, buy more,
- 4:01just hold, uh things like that. Okay,
- 4:04let's start. Where do you want to start?
- 4:06Let's start at the top. Okay. AMD. So
- 4:10AMD has been tremendous, obviously, you
- 4:11know, up around a million dollars. First
- 4:13off, AMD, in my opinion, is going to
- 4:17make another epic run over the next 3 to
- 4:206 months. I could be wrong on that, but
- 4:22I do believe over this next 3 to 6 month
- 4:24span. I don't know exactly what day it
- 4:26starts. So if you're wondering like what
- 4:28exact day is it tomorrow? Is it next
- 4:30week? Is it next month? I don't know.
- 4:31But I believe in the next three to six
- 4:32months AMD goes on an absolute tear.
- 4:36Okay. And so my plans with AMD is
- 4:42after the next big run is done or let's
- 4:45just call it when we're deep into the
- 4:46next big run, I want to sell some AMD
- 4:50shares. Keyword is some. Not a lot, but
- 4:54some. This is a huge overweight position
- 4:57in the portfolio. It's about 26%. Do you
- 4:59know how big the waiting is going to get
- 5:01when this baby goes on that next run?
- 5:03Right now, the thing that we 2027 is
- 5:08going to be fine for the semiconductor
- 5:09stocks in regards to their numbers. And
- 5:10when I'm talking about the stock, I'm
- 5:12talking Nvidia, I'm talking AMD, I'm
- 5:13talking the memory stocks. They're all
- 5:15fine, right? The issue is in 2028, in my
- 5:19opinion, we start keyword is start the
- 5:22slowdown of the semiconductor cycle.
- 5:25Now, this is not going to hit AMD's
- 5:28numbers yet at that particular time, but
- 5:30it will hit Nvidia. it will hit the
- 5:33memory stocks in 2028.
- 5:36And so with that, AMD will get pulled
- 5:39down at least some because you got to
- 5:41understand AMD's in a basket of stocks
- 5:42with these other stocks. And so if one
- 5:44moves down, they all start moving down.
- 5:46Okay? And so with AMD, I'm going to want
- 5:49to take some profits off the table uh
- 5:52likely after the next big run
- 5:54essentially. Okay? And I'm still going
- 5:56to want to keep a position in AMD for
- 5:58the super long term. So do keep that in
- 6:00mind as well. But essentially, as it
- 6:01starts going up more and more and more,
- 6:03I'll take a little profits here and
- 6:04there. Do I want to take profits right
- 6:06now at 493? Heck no. We're still quite
- 6:09we're still significantly uh below where
- 6:12I would even start taking profits on
- 6:13AMD. So, just keep that in mind, okay?
- 6:15You know, like if you asked my number,
- 6:18what is my number that I would consider
- 6:21starting to take some profits in AMD?
- 6:25700. 700. If AMD was 700 today, I would
- 6:29consider starting to take some profits.
- 6:32Okay. Now, from there, Meta uh Meta is
- 6:36just I feel comfortable with the sizing
- 6:38of the Meta position. As I've told you
- 6:40guys many times, Meta is in what I would
- 6:42call, you know, it's stuck, right? It's
- 6:44stuck between about 550 and 750. And so,
- 6:48it just kind of bounces in there. You
- 6:49know, if people are feeling real
- 6:50bearish, they'll push it down below that
- 6:52level. If they're feeling really, really
- 6:53bullish, they might push up. But at the
- 6:55end of the day, Meta is not going
- 6:56anywhere in the very very short term
- 6:59just because the capex numbers are so
- 7:00out of control and people are still
- 7:01confused on if they're ever going to get
- 7:04this payback in regards to this capex
- 7:06spend. Right? So Meta is just stuck
- 7:09longterm. It's a,000 to $2,000 stock. So
- 7:12do keep that in mind. Uh we just can't
- 7:14reach that level right now because we're
- 7:16stuck. Okay. From there, we're talking
- 7:18Amazon. Amazon, great company. AWS
- 7:22growth is accelerating. It's it's a
- 7:24cleaner story than Meta. And the reason
- 7:26it's a cleaner story from Meta is the
- 7:28AWS growth is accelerating rapidly. And
- 7:31that gives the spend a lot more leeway
- 7:35than with Meta essentially. Okay? You
- 7:37know, Meta is in a situation where
- 7:39they're spending so much money and
- 7:40people like, "Dude, what are you
- 7:41spending all this freaking money on
- 7:42meta?" Amazon at least people are seeing
- 7:45the some return on investment. They're
- 7:47seeing those AWS numbers accelerate much
- 7:49more quickly than anybody anticipated.
- 7:50like, "Okay, we're getting somewhere
- 7:52here." Uh, Amazon's just a great
- 7:54long-term hold. I feel comfortable with
- 7:55the position. So, I'm just not
- 7:57interested at all in selling stocks like
- 7:59Met selling Amazon. I'm um those are
- 8:01type of stocks you you buy them, you
- 8:03throw them in the filing cabinet, and
- 8:06you know, the short term is going to be
- 8:08the short term. At the end of the day,
- 8:09Meta is going to be a massively larger
- 8:11company 5 years from now than it is
- 8:12today in my opinion. Same thing with
- 8:13Amazon. And so, there's just I have no
- 8:17interest in selling those position. They
- 8:18were way oversized maybe, but they're
- 8:20just not. I feel comfortable with the
- 8:22sizing of those two positions given how
- 8:24strong those business models are. Okay,
- 8:26Cheesecake Factory. So, Cheesecake
- 8:28Factory done amazing for us. $29,000 in
- 8:30gains here. It's a 7% waiting here.
- 8:33Cheesecake just doesn't interest me in
- 8:35selling this one either. And the reason
- 8:36being is it pays me out those fatty
- 8:38dividends every 3 months, right? Which,
- 8:40keep in mind, from my cost basis, those
- 8:42dividends actually are pretty
- 8:43significant. Like a lot of the shares I
- 8:44have, I'm getting like a 3% plus yield
- 8:46on those just for holding them, right?
- 8:48But additionally, when it comes to
- 8:50Cheesecake Factory, like why do I need
- 8:52to run out of that stock? They get the
- 8:53next 10 years of growth ahead. So, what
- 8:56is the point? Like, what is the point of
- 8:58running out of cheesecake? So, that
- 8:59that's my perspective on that one. It's
- 9:01just continues to be a hold. If it ever
- 9:03got really overvalued, like the forward
- 9:05P went to like a 35 or something, uh,
- 9:08then I would probably position out or,
- 9:10and when I say position out, I still
- 9:11don't mean sell it all, but I would sell
- 9:12a big portion of my shares. But right
- 9:14now, forward P on Cake is probably
- 9:16realistically 20-ish. When I got a
- 9:19company that has a 10year runway of
- 9:21growth ahead,
- 9:23why am I going to position out when the
- 9:25forward P is maybe a 20, right? So, that
- 9:27that's my perspective on cake sales
- 9:30force. So, here's a deal with
- 9:33Salesforce.
- 9:35This is one I could feel very confident
- 9:37just holding right right now. They're in
- 9:40a a big investment cycle for the
- 9:42business. They're starting Keyword is
- 9:44starting to get some ROI on the spend
- 9:46they're doing and the the changes in
- 9:48their business model and really going AI
- 9:50first and foremost, right? But you got
- 9:53to understand like the opportunity in
- 9:55Salesforce is immense over the coming
- 9:58years. And same thing for Service Now.
- 10:01And so those companies
- 10:03are you got to understand like those
- 10:05companies the agents that you're going
- 10:08to be able to run in the different
- 10:09softwares like this all ties back into
- 10:12your company if you run a big large
- 10:14organization. So with a company like
- 10:16Salesforce, you need the protection in
- 10:19your business model that these agents
- 10:21don't go rogue, right? And you need the
- 10:23protection your business model from a
- 10:25securityurities perspective that agents
- 10:27from over here in your business can't
- 10:28get access to this other information,
- 10:30but you need it to be able to read this
- 10:31other information to give you better
- 10:32results for your business. And so it
- 10:34gets very complicated very quickly is
- 10:37when you run a large organization and
- 10:38you're starting to do all this AI
- 10:40related stuff in your business and every
- 10:41let's be honest, every single major
- 10:43company in the world is pushing heavy
- 10:45into AI because it has a great
- 10:47opportunity to accelerate your profits
- 10:50massively, right? And so Salesforce uh I
- 10:54you know I think we'll see a major
- 10:56acceleration of growth over the next
- 10:57couple years and that's going to be very
- 10:58exciting. That's why that stock is
- 11:00already starting. You haven't even seen
- 11:02the major upcycle in growth yet for
- 11:04Salesforce. You're going to see it over
- 11:05the next year or two. And so the stock's
- 11:07front running that essentially right now
- 11:09look at how the gains like it's crazy.
- 11:11We were down tens of thousands of
- 11:14dollars just a few months ago in
- 11:15Salesforce, right? And now we're sitting
- 11:17on $67,000
- 11:19of gains. It it's it switches quick in
- 11:22the market, ladies and gentlemen. Um, so
- 11:24yeah, Salesforce just is not interested
- 11:26at all selling that one. You know, 400.
- 11:29Okay, I'll start cashing. I'll start
- 11:31cashing a lot of shares. Maybe even 350.
- 11:33I would start cashing some. Okay,
- 11:35honest. Honest. So, this is one that
- 11:38I've I've talked about this one since
- 11:40the beginning of the year. I said this
- 11:41stock exits this year $5 plus. $5 plus
- 11:44in the bag. In my opinion, we're
- 11:45probably exiting this year somewhere
- 11:46between 7 and 9 based upon how strong
- 11:48the financials get. now up $81,000. So,
- 11:52Honest, oh, look at that number. You
- 11:54know, I love that right there. $222,000
- 11:56position. Honest just not interested in
- 11:58selling at all, right? Solid business
- 12:00model, diapers, wipes, soaps, shampoos,
- 12:03like all the the simple stuff, right?
- 12:05Makeup, beauty products, like um great
- 12:07business model. They've got a strong
- 12:09niche customer base. It's all good. Uh
- 12:12American Express,
- 12:14one of the best companies in the world
- 12:16to invest in, right? When you just think
- 12:18about the business model, like just a
- 12:20top tier business model. When you think
- 12:21about the client list of American
- 12:24Express, it is just top tier. Credit
- 12:27cards are very uh let's call competitive
- 12:29space, but American Express competes
- 12:31like no other, right? And the, you know,
- 12:34there's multiple great American Express
- 12:36cards you can get, but the gold card is
- 12:38just like, you know, that's just an easy
- 12:40top tier card to have um you know, as as
- 12:43an individual out there. And so American
- 12:45Express just a great company. um
- 12:47attractive valuation, top tier financial
- 12:49statements, top tier management team. I
- 12:52mean, you know, it's just one I could
- 12:54build into a very large position and
- 12:55feel comfortable holding for years and
- 12:57years and years to go in the future.
- 12:58Celsius Holdings, this one, uh very
- 13:00slight gain on this one. We're hardly
- 13:02up. We're up maybe $14,000 in Celsius
- 13:04here, right? A little under 4% waiting
- 13:06here. Celsius has an immense long-term
- 13:09opportunity in front of the I mean,
- 13:11there's still very early days in this
- 13:12company. Remember, no one heard of
- 13:14Celsius like 7 years ago, right? Let's
- 13:16just admit that. And so this company's
- 13:18come out of nowhere and now they've got
- 13:20around 20% of the market share for
- 13:22energy drinks in North America. It's
- 13:23unbelievable. And so we're so early days
- 13:26in this story. Like I think about where
- 13:28Celsius could be 5 10 years from now if
- 13:31John keeps running this company, right?
- 13:32He just purchased some shares on the
- 13:34open market recently which was very
- 13:35exciting just from a like a sentiment
- 13:38perspective around the stock. So
- 13:40Celsius, here's a deal. Do do I want to
- 13:42like what price would I sell Celsius at?
- 13:45I mean, there's there's not really a
- 13:47price you could give me right now that
- 13:48would make me want to cash Celsius if
- 13:50this stock doubled. 28 goes to 56. I
- 13:54just not interested in selling Celsius.
- 13:57And that's a big statement, right? Cuz I
- 13:59can tell you if AMD doubled tomorrow, I
- 14:01would absolutely be willing to sell some
- 14:03shares of AMD at right around a
- 14:04thousand, right? But Celsius could
- 14:06double. It could go to 56. And I'm I'm
- 14:08just not interested. I'm good. Thank you
- 14:10very much. Uh I'll continue to hold my
- 14:12shares. So that speaks volumes about
- 14:14Celsius, right? Elsa Lauder. Say it
- 14:17louder for the people in the back. Up
- 14:1851,000 52,000 roughly, right? Uh this
- 14:22one not interested in selling anytime
- 14:23soon. This is a stock that used to be
- 14:26$370. Not saying it's going back to 370,
- 14:29but could this stock go back to 200 to
- 14:31300 land over the next few years? Yes.
- 14:34And so I have no intention to sell Estee
- 14:36Lauder under 100. Give me a break. Um
- 14:38not even a consideration. Service Now,
- 14:42that one's running for us. Up now almost
- 14:4443%, up $52,000.
- 14:48Service Now, [sighs]
- 14:50I mean, up another 7% here today. Yeah,
- 14:55Wall Street's starting to get it. They
- 14:56know this is next up. Where are you
- 14:59going to see the next acceleration and
- 15:00growth? It's in these companies, Service
- 15:03Now and Salesforce. And so, you're even
- 15:05seeing CrowdStrike move. A lot of those
- 15:07companies have an immense opportunity as
- 15:09there's going to be more and more fear
- 15:10around AI and how powerful it can be. I
- 15:13mean Salesforce and Service Now are two
- 15:14of the most well positioned. I think
- 15:16Crowdstrike is another one. I don't own
- 15:17CrowdStrike, but I think that is company
- 15:19that's well positioned to kind of
- 15:20capitalize in the fear and the security
- 15:22and all this sort of stuff, right? And
- 15:24the governance of the data. Palanteer, I
- 15:27mean, when you think AI, you think
- 15:29Palanteer. Uh up 2,262%
- 15:32on this stock. This is just a long-term
- 15:33hold. There's not really a price you
- 15:35could give me to make me want to sell my
- 15:37other thousand shares of Palanteer. Like
- 15:38that's just a super long-term hold
- 15:40there. Netflix
- 15:43[sighs and gasps]
- 15:44is a still a buy. It, you know, it's
- 15:45starting to go up for us. We're up
- 15:4614,000 is a a relatively newer buy for
- 15:49me in the public count. Uh long long
- 15:51upside ahead. It's not a price you could
- 15:53really give me on Netflix. I mean, if it
- 15:55was 200, okay, you can have my Netflix
- 15:57shares, but there's nothing even
- 15:59remotely close to where we're at right
- 16:00now that would make me say I got to
- 16:02start selling my Netflix shares. You
- 16:04know, uh, like I said, 200, okay, take
- 16:06my Netflix shares off my hands right
- 16:08now. But anywhere around here, 80, 100,
- 16:11120, no, thank you. If anything, I'll
- 16:13keep buying. Elf on a Shelf, uh, great
- 16:16long-term buy. You know, I've said it a
- 16:18few times. I think the stock exits this
- 16:19year. Worst case scenario, $100. Best
- 16:22best case scenario 140. So that's just a
- 16:26short term. Longterm the stock has an
- 16:28opportunity to be a several hundred
- 16:30stock. When you think about the
- 16:31long-term opportunity for the ELF brand,
- 16:32the increase in margins over the next 5
- 16:3410 years, profitability, getting smarter
- 16:36about the business model, the brands.
- 16:38Yeah, Nike
- 16:43[laughter]
- 16:46Nike. Um,
- 16:48the crazy thing about Nike, you know,
- 16:51the crazy thing, guys, okay, obviously
- 16:53the position's done awful. There's no
- 16:56other way to put it, man. There's no
- 16:58other way to put it. We got the
- 16:59flapjacks flipped right on the floor.
- 17:01But the craziest thing is in regards to
- 17:03this Nike situation,
- 17:05I have lost zero conviction in Nike.
- 17:09Like, I'm as I have as much conviction
- 17:11in that stock as I did when I first
- 17:13started buying the stock. And so, that's
- 17:15pretty rare. I will say it's pretty rare
- 17:18when you could be down this much on a
- 17:20position and you're like I have lost no
- 17:23because usually when I go down big on a
- 17:24stock I you know when it like if you go
- 17:27down like 30% plus let's call it it's
- 17:30kind of natural to start losing some
- 17:31conviction be like oh shoot okay maybe
- 17:33maybe maybe something's going I've lost
- 17:35no conviction Nike that's the craziest
- 17:37part of this whole situation so we'll
- 17:39see what happens but um Nike I haven't I
- 17:43have no intention to sell Nike uh you
- 17:45know
- 17:47yeah I'm still as confident as I've ever
- 17:49been. It's just weird. It's very weird
- 17:51but that's how I truly feel. SoFi SoFi I
- 17:55mean my gosh SoFi is the most
- 17:56wellpositioned company out there in
- 17:58fintech in my opinion in banking to
- 18:00really become the next financial giant
- 18:02over the next decade. Anthony Notto just
- 18:04needs to never put the company under
- 18:05during a recession get overleveraged or
- 18:07something like that. If he keeps a
- 18:09company fairly leveraged right never
- 18:11overleveraged so they can always get
- 18:12through recessions. I mean the the
- 18:14company's on the way to becoming a
- 18:16financial giant. How? Because they keep
- 18:17attracting more and more members,
- 18:19especially the younger generation. When
- 18:21you attract those younger members, you
- 18:22got to understand their net worth grows
- 18:23immensely over the next 10, 20 years.
- 18:26And so's assets under management, assets
- 18:28in the business model grow immensely,
- 18:31then you can sell more products to those
- 18:32individuals. You get network effects. I
- 18:34mean, oh my gosh, it's insane, right?
- 18:36And so just got to keep executing. Don't
- 18:39get overleveraged and the world is
- 18:40yours, SoFi. I mean, that's a stock that
- 18:42could be hundred plus dollars long term.
- 18:45RVLV Revolve,
- 18:48great management team, great income
- 18:49statement, great balance sheet of this
- 18:50company. Um, if anything, it's a buy. I
- 18:53have no no interest in selling that
- 18:55stock. Google McDougall, I mean, it's
- 18:57hard to sell Google. I've already sold a
- 18:59lot of shares of Google. This is about a
- 19:00$76,000 position. 40 almost $42,000 of
- 19:04that is gains. Why why do I want to sell
- 19:07any Google McDougall? Like, you know, so
- 19:08that's my perspective there. Um
- 19:12yeah yeah yeah uh Fubo Fubo my tubo uh
- 19:17down 22% on that one.
- 19:20I think you know you're seeing more and
- 19:21more momentum come into Fubo. I think
- 19:23the company positions well for 2027 and
- 19:25beyond and profitability will expand.
- 19:27Ebida will expand for Fubo and I think
- 19:29that stock will be fine. Um you know
- 19:33it's never going to be like a Netflix
- 19:34you know like that's the other thing
- 19:36I'll say about a Fubo. It's never going
- 19:37to be like a Netflix. So, if you're ever
- 19:39expecting to be a giant like several
- 19:40hundred billion dollar market cap, no.
- 19:43Best case scenario for Fubo is they
- 19:45become like a Direct TV Dish Network in
- 19:48their prime type company, which we could
- 19:51be talking about, you know, uh 5, 10, 20
- 19:54billion market cap in that situation,
- 19:56right? Um, so yeah, Fubo. So, that's
- 20:00public account. You know, that's kind of
- 20:01my opinions there on buy, sell, hold
- 20:05perspective. I hope you guys enjoyed
- 20:06that. We just talked about a lot of
- 20:08stocks right there. Okay. All righty.
- 20:10Next up here, I want to give some advice
- 20:11for anybody out there that's got a
- 20:12portfolio near all-time highs or close
- 20:15to all-time highs, right? Um and then
- 20:18we'll talk about some stocks that I
- 20:19think are going to soar next up. Okay.
- 20:21So, if you have a portfolio right now
- 20:24and let's say I don't know, you're at
- 20:25all-time highs, you're very close to
- 20:27alltime highs, I want to ask you how did
- 20:29you get there? And I think this question
- 20:31is very important because
- 20:35if you want to know where you're going,
- 20:38you got to figure out the destination.
- 20:39You got to figure out how to get there,
- 20:41right? And so, how did you get here to
- 20:43this first part? Did you get lucky,
- 20:46right? Did you kind of gamble some money
- 20:48around? You know, I live in Vegas. I got
- 20:50the Vegas poster there, right? Uh like,
- 20:52did you gamble money around? You just
- 20:53threw some money in some stocks and they
- 20:55happen to go up and you're like, "Oh my
- 20:56gosh, were you watching my videos and
- 20:58you just piggybacked off my stocks?" you
- 21:00know, did you put in the real work about
- 21:02the income statements, the balance
- 21:03sheets, running the numbers, running the
- 21:05projections? Because if you didn't,
- 21:09I can promise you over the long term, it
- 21:11will come back to bite you in a major
- 21:12way. And so, I'll put it to you like
- 21:14this, right? I ran track. Now, when we
- 21:17talk about running fast, right? There's
- 21:19always some kids that are just like
- 21:21stupid fast, right? Like, h they're just
- 21:23born fast. They just run crazy fast,
- 21:25right? And
- 21:28what got them to that place? It might
- 21:30have been just God-given ability, right?
- 21:32They might have been eating candy and,
- 21:33you know, hardly even running and
- 21:35they're just naturally god-gifted and
- 21:37they run crazy fast, right? Somebody
- 21:38like myself, I had to work hard to do
- 21:40it. And so, you know, somebody that
- 21:42could have been smoking me, let's call
- 21:44it, uh, early when I first started
- 21:47running track, like I had I understood I
- 21:50had to put in like a lot of extra work
- 21:51and grind hard and next thing you know,
- 21:53I'm keeping up with these kids or
- 21:55beating these kids that used to, you
- 21:57know, absolutely decimate me. But it's
- 21:59because I understood I got to put in the
- 22:00work, right? I understood like, you
- 22:02know, I if I'm going to get to this
- 22:04place of success doing this thing, I've
- 22:07got to outwork everybody else to make
- 22:10this sustainable over time, right? Where
- 22:12somebody that just kind of lucks into it
- 22:13sometimes can get very, very lazy,
- 22:15right? So, I don't know if you guys know
- 22:17this story, but the first two stocks I
- 22:20ever bought when I started investing,
- 22:23uh, one was Walgreens cuz I was working
- 22:25at Walgreens when I first started
- 22:26investing. This is at like the very end
- 22:28of 2008, by the way. Another was this
- 22:30biioharmaceutical company, right? Now,
- 22:32this biioharmaceutical company, I lost
- 22:34$43 on it, right? And once again, this
- 22:37is like the end of '08 roughly, sometime
- 22:40around then, right? And by the way, part
- 22:41of that big loss was because the trade
- 22:43commissions were so expensive through
- 22:45Fidelity. I think it was like 1995 every
- 22:47time you bought or sold a stock. It was
- 22:48ridiculous. You guys have it so good
- 22:50nowadays. You can literally buy a stock
- 22:51for free and sell it for free. It's like
- 22:53insane, right? But I lost money on this
- 22:56stock and I was greeted with a moment
- 22:59there where it's like you either give up
- 23:01on it, right? And you say, "Ah, hell
- 23:03with this." Like, you know, or you go
- 23:05back to the drawing board and you say,
- 23:06"Okay, here's the thing. When I bought
- 23:08that bioharmaceutical stock, I didn't
- 23:09know freaking crap about the stock
- 23:10market. I barely knew how to like buy a
- 23:12stock, right?" Like, and so it's just
- 23:15ridiculous. I'm like just read about
- 23:17some biioharmaceutical stock on I don't
- 23:19I think it was like Yahoo Finance or
- 23:21something, right? and I buy the stock
- 23:23and um I ended up selling for a loss and
- 23:26I ended up losing $43 of my capital.
- 23:28Right from there I was like, "Dude, I
- 23:30got to freaking figure this stuff out."
- 23:32Right? [snorts] And there's something
- 23:33here. And so what I started coming
- 23:35across and I would watch these videos
- 23:38many times in the computer center. I
- 23:40don't even know if they still have
- 23:41computer centers at colleges and
- 23:43universities nowadays, but I go to the
- 23:45computer center uh cuz they had
- 23:47high-speed internet there and they had
- 23:48YouTube access, right? And I watched
- 23:50these old interviews of Warren Buffett
- 23:53and I came across him, I think by
- 23:54accident one day. He was speaking on
- 23:56CNBC or something and I was like really
- 23:58started to learn about this stuff,
- 23:59right? And so I remember watching this
- 24:01old interview, it's now posted 18 years
- 24:03ago. It's crazy to think like this was
- 24:05relatively new when I first started
- 24:06investing uh when it was posted, right?
- 24:08Uh Warren Buffett on his petrol China
- 24:10and his strategy and he kind of talks a
- 24:12little bit about that stock, right? And
- 24:13then I started kind of going down the
- 24:14rabbit hole um you know in 2009 2010 and
- 24:18just kind of like watching everything I
- 24:20could of like Warren Buffett stuff
- 24:21reading as much as I could about like
- 24:23how he looks at companies. Um meanwhile
- 24:26I'm also taking accounting courses and
- 24:28I'm learning I took three levels of
- 24:30accounting courses in uh college right
- 24:32to learn about income statements,
- 24:33balance sheets, cash flow. So I'm
- 24:34learning about all this financial side.
- 24:36I'm learning about how Warren Buffett
- 24:37sees business models and I'm learning
- 24:38about these new terms like moat. Never
- 24:41heard about a moat around a business. I
- 24:42was like, what is he talking about?
- 24:44Right? And so I'm just kind of like just
- 24:46gathering all this information. And so
- 24:48from what happens there is I start
- 24:52buying some stocks and I start building
- 24:53a portfolio and I buy a company named
- 24:56Walmart. I'm sure we all know Walmart.
- 24:58Very high quality company. Not the most
- 25:00exciting company to invest in, but it's
- 25:02a very solid business model because I
- 25:04start understanding. I look at the
- 25:05income statements, the balance sheets. I
- 25:07start understanding the business model.
- 25:08I understand the Buffett principles of
- 25:10value investing. I buy Walmart and then
- 25:12I buy a company named Kagra Foods,
- 25:14right? Another boring company, but they
- 25:16make food related products. I can see
- 25:18them on the shelves. I look at their
- 25:20income statement, their balance sheet.
- 25:21It looks good. Checks out, right? Low
- 25:23forward P. Same thing with Walmart. It's
- 25:25all good. Buy the next company, Kimberly
- 25:28Clark.
- 25:29Same exact situation as the other one.
- 25:31Good income statement, good balance
- 25:32sheet, needsbased products, and very
- 25:34boring stocks. But I start building this
- 25:36portfolio. Okay. And so now I'm starting
- 25:38to get it. I'm like, okay, like I'm
- 25:40starting to get this game a little bit,
- 25:42right? And now my portfolio might be a
- 25:44couple thousand bucks or so. And so from
- 25:46there, I start kind of venturing out a
- 25:47little bit. I get the job at Quick Trip
- 25:49toward the end of 2010. I start
- 25:51venturing out and finding other stocks
- 25:52to invest in that, let's just call it,
- 25:54are a bigger opportunity than some of
- 25:57these maybe little more boring stocks
- 25:58like Kimberly Clark where it's like I
- 26:00could kind of use the Buffett principles
- 26:02of value investing and buying at the
- 26:04right price, but
- 26:07they also have major growth. And that's
- 26:09what these sorts of stocks that I bought
- 26:11and started building that portfolio
- 26:12around did not have. Kimberly Clark,
- 26:14Kagra Foods, Walmart, they did not have
- 26:15that big growth, right? And so I come
- 26:17across Hansen's natural beverage, which
- 26:20nowadays you guys know is Monster, but
- 26:21Hansen's natural beverage. They own this
- 26:24Monster product and it was selling like
- 26:26crazy. I would work these overnight
- 26:27shifts at Quicktrip and being a manager
- 26:29right at the end of 2010 and into 2011.
- 26:33And you know, you get off at 7:00 a.m.,
- 26:35but a lot of the landscapers,
- 26:36construction workers, all those guys
- 26:38would be coming in 4:00 a.m., 5:00 a.m.,
- 26:406:00 a.m., and they'd just be buying
- 26:41these monsters two at a time, and I'm
- 26:43like, "Dang, man, this product sells
- 26:44well." And I would look at the sales
- 26:45numbers our store would put up, and the
- 26:47monsters just sold ridiculous. Like,
- 26:48we'd sell 2,000 plus cans at my
- 26:50particular store a week. It was a lot of
- 26:53Monster to be selling, you know, a week,
- 26:55like, you know, of just the regular
- 26:56flavor, never mind the other flavors.
- 26:58And so, I'm looking at this and I'm
- 26:59like, "Oh my gosh." So, I started doing
- 27:00research on the company. It's a little
- 27:02higher P than I'm used to paying. It was
- 27:04kind of like high 20s, low30s, forward
- 27:06P. I'm like, gh that's a little high.
- 27:08But I looked at the growth and I started
- 27:10understanding. I bought the stock,
- 27:11right? Made a lot of money on that
- 27:12stock. Found Trinity Industries. Start
- 27:14learning about what's going on North
- 27:16Dakota. A lot of fracking was starting
- 27:18to take off like crazy like 2010 into
- 27:202011. And this stuff had to get
- 27:23transported. And the company that was
- 27:24the most well positioned in the world to
- 27:27capitalize on that was this company
- 27:28named Trinity Industries. And it was
- 27:29very undervalued. People didn't
- 27:30understand the long-term opportunity
- 27:32there. Bought Trinity Industries end up
- 27:34making a fortune on that over the next
- 27:35few years. From there, I found a company
- 27:36named Cabelas, right? Found exactly what
- 27:39I was looking for. The profitability was
- 27:40increasing a lot. I was looking at the
- 27:42business model. I'm like, "Oh, they're
- 27:43starting to increase their stores and
- 27:44they're getting smarter about it cuz
- 27:45they started building these like smaller
- 27:46format stores that could be more
- 27:48profitable, much more profitable on a
- 27:50price per square foot, much cheaper
- 27:52construction costs." I'm like, "Oh my
- 27:54gosh, this is starting to make a lot of
- 27:55sense, right?" And uh made fortunate
- 27:57money on Cabela's over the next few
- 27:58years as they expand it, right? And
- 28:00eventually Cabela ended up getting sold
- 28:01to Bass Pro Shops and I think they
- 28:03rebranded all the stores Bass Pro Shops.
- 28:05It's a real shame. It was it was
- 28:06actually a really good company. They
- 28:07should have kept separate in my opinion,
- 28:09but whatever. It is what it is, right?
- 28:11Then I dabbled in even higher growth and
- 28:14I found a company named Cirrus Logic.
- 28:17Cruisy Doozy. Okay, Cirrus Logic. They
- 28:22got a spot in an iPhone. I can't
- 28:25remember because it's so many years ago
- 28:26now. It might have been the iPhone 3GS
- 28:29or the iPhone 4 or something like that.
- 28:31And it was huge for Cirrus Logic. It was
- 28:34like a gamecher for the stock
- 28:36essentially, right? And I saw this new
- 28:38mobile revolution taking off and I'm
- 28:39like, "Oh my gosh, this company Cirrus
- 28:41Logic is working extremely close with
- 28:43Apple. They're going to probably be able
- 28:45to get in future iPhones. These iPhones
- 28:46are going to sell more and more over the
- 28:48coming years. And they're probably going
- 28:49to be able to get in other devices like
- 28:51iPads and other things that will come
- 28:52down the years, right?" And so I looked
- 28:54at this company, great financials, the
- 28:57income statement was ballooning, great
- 28:59balance sheet. Uh I love the CEO of the
- 29:01company that was leading the company,
- 29:02his name was Jason RH, right? And um it
- 29:06was a very successful stock for me. Made
- 29:08a lot of money on that stock, right?
- 29:09Cruisy doozy. I love that stock. Okay,
- 29:11but that was my first time in a
- 29:12semiconductor stock, right? And so I got
- 29:16to that place and started building that
- 29:18confidence. And so when you when you
- 29:19look at me today, you say, "Oh my gosh,
- 29:21like my life's almost unrelatable,
- 29:23right? on a financial front.
- 29:25But you think about how did I get that
- 29:27early success that first let's call it
- 29:29five years, six years of success. It's I
- 29:32had to go back to that Warren Buffett
- 29:34stuff and like learn the about SWAT
- 29:37analysis, right? Strengths, weaknesses,
- 29:39opportunities, threats, and how to like
- 29:40really do that, right? The financial
- 29:43statements, uh, conference call
- 29:44analysis, how to value stocks, how to
- 29:46run projections on these companies on
- 29:48where this company's net income can go
- 29:50over the coming years and all that
- 29:51stuff. So that's all the stuff you've
- 29:54got to learn if you really want to play
- 29:56this game on a high level and you really
- 29:58want to make your success sustainable
- 30:01over the next 5, 10, 15, 20 years. Cuz
- 30:04any guy or girl can have success for a
- 30:07year, can have success for 2 years,
- 30:09right? Can have success for 6 months.
- 30:11But the real players, like I've been
- 30:13playing this game for 18 years now,
- 30:15right? The real players are the ones
- 30:17that can get through the bare markets
- 30:19out to the other side, capitalize on the
- 30:21bull markets, find ways to make the
- 30:24money even in the kangaroo markets,
- 30:26right? And so for you guys out there
- 30:29that maybe, you know, you kind of lucked
- 30:31into your success so far, learn all this
- 30:34stuff right here. You there's a lot more
- 30:36to learn, by the way, than just what I'm
- 30:37showing you here, but this is like a
- 30:39huge portion of what you need to learn
- 30:41over time and get to yourself to a high
- 30:42level. You need to be able to look at
- 30:44look at a balance sheet and be able to
- 30:46understand within
- 30:4930 seconds if that's a great balance
- 30:51sheet or a bad balance sheet. Within 30
- 30:53seconds, I can identif I can look at
- 30:54every single line item and I can
- 30:56identify if that's a great balance sheet
- 30:57or a bad balance sheet or if there's red
- 30:59flags in that balance sheet. Same thing
- 31:01with an income statement. The same thing
- 31:02with a cash flow. Right? SWAT analysis.
- 31:04You got to be able to perform that on a
- 31:05high level and know what you're actually
- 31:07looking for. Right? When you listen to a
- 31:08conference call, like you know, you got
- 31:10to really be locked in. Do you
- 31:12understand what are the little like
- 31:15let's call it the little breadcrumbs
- 31:16that the CEO and the CFO kind of leave
- 31:18for you out there sometimes the reason I
- 31:21listen to every single one of my
- 31:22company's conference calls and sometimes
- 31:23multiple times because they leave so
- 31:24many breadcrumbs that you don't get
- 31:26anywhere else right and so you got to
- 31:29know all this stuff so my thing to you
- 31:31guys is make sure you learn all this
- 31:33stuff right now I've been running the
- 31:35private group for what seven eight years
- 31:38now maybe longer than that and So
- 31:41that's always out there for you guys.
- 31:43That's I always put that as a pin
- 31:44comment. You don't have to join there.
- 31:45Like if you don't want to join the
- 31:46private group, don't join the private
- 31:47group. Like learn it on your own. That's
- 31:49the way I did. I learned it on my own,
- 31:50right? You So you don't have to join the
- 31:52private group. You can kind of go about
- 31:54it the hard way like I did, right? But
- 31:56the good thing about the private group
- 31:57and the real value in the private group
- 31:59is it's just going to bring you up to a
- 32:01much higher level much quicker, right?
- 32:03Whereas I kind of wasted my first few
- 32:05years of investing just trying to learn
- 32:07stuff and also got into some big
- 32:09mistakes over the years and things like
- 32:10that. Like I just kind of like fast
- 32:12forward you guys through all that crap
- 32:14that I had to go through, right? And
- 32:16just teach you all the stuff. And so the
- 32:18private group's always out there for
- 32:19you. That's always pinned comment down
- 32:20there. Like I said, you don't have to
- 32:21join it. If you know you don't want to
- 32:22be part of a group like that, that's
- 32:24perfectly fine. But you still got to
- 32:25learn this stuff. So do it however you
- 32:27want to do it. You can self teach
- 32:29yourself or you can go through the
- 32:30private group, whatever you want to do.
- 32:32But there's no other way about it. If
- 32:33you want that long-term sustainable
- 32:35success and to really build to the big
- 32:36boy numbers and big girl numbers, yeah,
- 32:39you got to you got to uh you got to put
- 32:40in the work. Okay. All righty. Next up
- 32:42here, let's talk about some stocks that
- 32:44I believe are next up to soar. So,
- 32:49I would be considered partially as a
- 32:51contrarian investor. Okay? And so I look
- 32:56for
- 32:57not what like if a stock's super hyped
- 33:01and like everybody's talking about it
- 33:02and it's talked about on CNBC and
- 33:04Bloomberg and everywhere, I'm usually
- 33:06going to avoid that stock like the
- 33:07plague. What really is interesting to me
- 33:10is when I can find stock market
- 33:11opportunities to buy assets that no
- 33:14one's paying attention to, no one gives
- 33:16a crap about at that particular time.
- 33:18Okay? And I'm kind of like going against
- 33:20the crowd. And I kind of enjoy it in
- 33:25some sick way of like being the one
- 33:27that's going the opposite way. But I
- 33:29love it. And you know, you hear Warren
- 33:31Buffett sometimes talk about things like
- 33:33you know uh what uh buying or you know
- 33:36sell when others are greedy and buy when
- 33:38others are fearful and things like that,
- 33:40right? And there's all these kind of
- 33:41great sayings from the top investors
- 33:43over the years, right? But I love being
- 33:45a contrarian investor and it's paid off
- 33:47pretty handsomely countless times for
- 33:49me. So if we just talk about some
- 33:51current positions I have, right? Meta,
- 33:53Meta had sold off 70% plus in 2022,
- 33:57right? No one wanted a piece of that
- 33:58stock and I just was gobbling up shares
- 34:01left and right in Meta, this stock that
- 34:03was dead and forgotten, right? No one,
- 34:06it was like a toxic asset, right? No one
- 34:10wanted to touch this thing. And now you
- 34:12look at Meta and it's like, oh, you
- 34:14know, yeah, that was a good contrarian
- 34:16buy, was it not? Right, Palanteer.
- 34:19Palanteer, you know, after they I can't
- 34:22remember if they did an IPO or they did
- 34:23SPACK, right? But the stock was 30 or
- 34:26$40 and, you know, at the lows it was
- 34:28like $5.98 in 2022. No one wanted that
- 34:31stock. No one wanted Palunteer. And I
- 34:34was picking up shares, gobbling up
- 34:35shares at 10 bucks, n bucks, eight
- 34:37bucks, $7, right? is still a bunch of
- 34:39shares from the sevens of Palunteer.
- 34:42Great contrarian buy when no one could
- 34:45see it at that particular time, right?
- 34:47SoFi, no one was paying attention to
- 34:49SoFi in 2024. The stock was trading at
- 34:51six bucks a share. I'm gobbling up
- 34:53shares. I'm like, I think there's a
- 34:55pretty big opportunity here over time,
- 34:56right? It's paid off handsomely. Google
- 34:59McDougall just last year, no one wanted
- 35:03a piece of Google. They thought like
- 35:04chat GPT1, no one's going to use Google
- 35:07search anymore. no one's going to use
- 35:08Google anymore. Like, it was ridiculous,
- 35:11right? Ridiculous. And so, I'm like,
- 35:14this is silly. So, I gobbled up I think
- 35:16it was $444 shares. I think I sold about
- 35:18half. Took that profits and invested
- 35:20elsewhere. But look at this. I still got
- 35:21222 shares of it. And the cost I got
- 35:24those shares at $156 last year. Now,
- 35:27people are out there today paying $3.45.
- 35:30What a good contrarian buy, right?
- 35:32Salesforce, this is one just from this
- 35:34year, right? You couldn't get somebody
- 35:36to touch this stock just a few months
- 35:38ago. Look at this. I got these shares in
- 35:40May at 178. Got these shares in
- 35:42February. 185 185 185 from March from
- 35:46April 185. Back in the springtime in
- 35:49late winter, no one wanted Salesforce.
- 35:51And look at this. Now we're up 67,000,
- 35:53right? Service Now, same exact. Look at
- 35:55this. April 24th, I got shares at 85
- 35:58bucks for Service Now. People are
- 36:00paying. It's still the same flipping
- 36:02flapjacking year. And now people are
- 36:04paying 142 for the stock just a few
- 36:07months later.
- 36:09Things switch fast in the market, right?
- 36:12Look at this. 90 bucks, 91 bucks. Is it
- 36:15crazy, right? Cheesecake Factory. Look
- 36:17at Cheesecake Factory. This is another
- 36:19perfect example of a contrarian buy. No
- 36:21one wanted this stock back in 2023,
- 36:232024. I was gobbling up shares at 32,
- 36:2631, 31, 30,30, right? And now we're
- 36:29sitting on $29,000 of gains. This
- 36:31doesn't even include all the dividends
- 36:32received. And I've averaged up on
- 36:34Cheesecake over time. My average is now
- 36:36$40.75. And so, man, can it pay off, but
- 36:40keep this in mind, it doesn't always
- 36:41work, right? Look at look at a Nike
- 36:43situation. That's been a contrarian buy
- 36:45for me. I've gone against the grain
- 36:46there and it hasn't worked. So, it's not
- 36:48like it's a foolproof plan. But the
- 36:50moral of the story is for every Nike, I
- 36:53got so many of these other ones that
- 36:54man, did they pay off handsomely, but
- 36:56you got to know where the contrarian
- 36:57opportunity is at. It's not it can't
- 36:59it's just not as simple as like oh the
- 37:01stock's down a lot so it's going to go
- 37:02up a lot. No, it doesn't work like that.
- 37:04The business model's got to be there so
- 37:07the comeback can happen and be a
- 37:09sustainable comeback over time. And
- 37:11that's the thing I've been able to
- 37:12identify in a lot of these companies,
- 37:13right? So
- 37:16the stocks I would say I'm kind of
- 37:18looking at first off I think Salesforce
- 37:21and Service Now have some still room to
- 37:24move. uh they've done a lot of the the
- 37:26heavy lifting now at this point in time,
- 37:28but they still got some left. Okay. But
- 37:30some of the contrarian stocks I'm really
- 37:32looking at and I really will be likely
- 37:35adding over the next few months is
- 37:36something like a wind resorts. This is
- 37:38one I want to really build out to a big
- 37:40position. This is one I don't even
- 37:41really I don't even have a position in
- 37:42the public account. A stock like wind
- 37:44should be in the public account in my
- 37:46opinion. And so that's a stock I'm
- 37:48looking at I really want to build into a
- 37:50very large position. They got the Middle
- 37:52East property opening next year. Like
- 37:54it's the reason wind's down is interest
- 37:56rates have gone up, right? And companies
- 37:59like when they have to take out a lot of
- 38:00debt to build resorts. So people don't
- 38:02want to hold a resort company, right?
- 38:05When interest rates are higher.
- 38:07Additionally, airline tickets are
- 38:09getting much more expensive. Um it's one
- 38:11of the biggest if you actually look at
- 38:12the CPI report, like airline tickets
- 38:14have gone insane because fuel costs have
- 38:16gone insane, right? Listen, the type of
- 38:19person that's going to win resorts
- 38:20doesn't give a flipping flapjack if they
- 38:22have to pay $400, $600, $800 for a plane
- 38:25ticket, okay? Those individuals like
- 38:28they're going to, you know, drop tens of
- 38:30thousands, hundreds of thousands or
- 38:32millions of dollars on a weekend at the
- 38:33win. So, it's completely irrelevant. So,
- 38:36it's just silly, right? And then wind's
- 38:38got arguably the best balance sheet of
- 38:40any resort company in the entire world,
- 38:42if not any travel company in the entire
- 38:43world. So they're just not nearly as
- 38:45negatively impacted by a higher interest
- 38:47rate environment. They're actually one
- 38:48of the most well positioned. So when
- 38:51that's one I want to build out and a
- 38:53contrarian buy over the next few months.
- 38:54RH is another one I want to build out.
- 38:56Their balance sheets improved a lot. If
- 38:57I recall the latest quarter they had
- 38:59something around 125 million in cash. So
- 39:02that's getting in a much better place.
- 39:03Uh this is one I look at contrarian buy.
- 39:06No one wants to own a stock like RH. The
- 39:09real estate industry has been trash for
- 39:11the last several years. Mortgage rates
- 39:13are skyhigh right now, right? They're in
- 39:15the sevens. No one wants a stock like RH
- 39:18right now. The stock was $700 five years
- 39:20ago. It's 100 something today, right?
- 39:23So, this is one I want to really be a
- 39:24contrarian on and build out that
- 39:26position over the next several months.
- 39:28And so, yep. Another possibility, this
- 39:31one I don't know if I'll do is Pool
- 39:33Corporation. And another possibility is
- 39:35Whirlpool. I'm interested in being a
- 39:37contrarian on these beaten down dogs as
- 39:39well, but I might stay away from those
- 39:42and I might stick with win and RH and
- 39:44and why
- 39:46win and RH really cater to the top
- 39:50income earners. They really cater to,
- 39:52you know, the top wealthy, right? Really
- 39:55the top 10%
- 39:57and even deeper in the top 5%, right?
- 40:00Whereas pool's really catering to more
- 40:03of the masses. Whirlpool's more catering
- 40:06to the masses. So, I I look at those
- 40:08stocks and I'm like, there's opportunity
- 40:09there, but I just I got to feel safe.
- 40:12And I would feel safer probably buying
- 40:15these top dogs than buying, you know,
- 40:18some of these other guys that are just
- 40:20kind of catering to the masses. Cuz at
- 40:22the end of the day, man, I'm going to
- 40:23just be honest with you guys. Rich
- 40:25people got money regardless of whatever
- 40:28[snorts] the short-term blah blah blah
- 40:29is going on out there. That's just how
- 40:31it is, man. You know, the guy that has a
- 40:34$50 million net worth, guess what? You
- 40:36know, his stocks go down, his net worth
- 40:38probably still 40 million. He's still
- 40:39stupid rich, right? And so, I don't
- 40:42know. Like, I've considered maybe just
- 40:44sticking to these, but I I'm still in
- 40:46consideration for pool. Still in
- 40:47consideration for Whirlpool. Hell,
- 40:49that's kind of funny. Pool and
- 40:50Whirlpool. Hilarious. Uh, another one I
- 40:53think has massive upside ahead that will
- 40:56move is Celsius. this stock. I'm just
- 40:58trying to gobble up as many shares as I
- 41:00can in between like 27 and 33.
- 41:02Obviously, if it was lower than 27, I'd
- 41:04still keep buying the stock. If it's 22,
- 41:06it was 25. But, um, 27 and 33 is kind of
- 41:09where it's been recently. And so, I'm
- 41:11just trying to gobble up as many shares
- 41:12as possible. It's kind of in this like
- 41:14bottoming formation. And understand when
- 41:16Celsius starts to move, it's going to be
- 41:18epic. Like, it's not going to be a slow
- 41:20move, right? Another one really high
- 41:23quality company is American Express. I
- 41:25think is another one that interest rates
- 41:27are higher right now. No one kind of
- 41:28wants to own it right now. Uh at the end
- 41:30of the day, man, this is the top this is
- 41:32like these tours are companies that
- 41:33really cater to the top income earners,
- 41:35the top wealthy. You just got to
- 41:37understand, man, those are the top tier
- 41:38companies, the top tier business models
- 41:40and American Express is one of those.
- 41:42And so that's one I look at as a
- 41:43contrarian buy. The stock's down about
- 41:4512% this year and um it should actually
- 41:47be up about 12% on the year in my
- 41:49personal opinion. So American Express is
- 41:51one I would love to build out u to be a
- 41:53much bigger position, right? You guys
- 41:55know I live in Vegas. We got the Hoover
- 41:56Dam. It's almost 100 years old, right?
- 41:59And um you want to build a portfolio
- 42:02kind of like the Hoover Dam. Like think
- 42:04about the heat that this dam has to go
- 42:06through, you know, when it's 110 115
- 42:08degrees out here and the cold. It gets
- 42:10cold here in Vegas, man. At night in the
- 42:12winter time, woo, gets cold, right? And
- 42:14all the wind and the water level being
- 42:16higher and the water level being I don't
- 42:18know where's it at now. here, you know,
- 42:19like like all the stuff that Dan has to
- 42:21go through and it just remains solid
- 42:24year after year after year, decade after
- 42:25decade. That's the type of portfolio you
- 42:27want to really build, right? Um, one you
- 42:30don't have to worry about. And so, keep
- 42:32building and when you're building that
- 42:34portfolio, build it strong like the
- 42:35Hoover Dam. Okay, ladies and gentlemen,
- 42:36I appreciate you for joining me. As
- 42:38always, this was a static video here
- 42:40today, but I appreciate you for joining
- 42:42me. Anyways, I hope you enjoyed it. Let
- 42:44me know in the comment section if you
- 42:45did. Additionally, uh if you're ready to
- 42:47join the private group and you want to
- 42:48become the most confident investor you
- 42:50possibly can, that will be the pinned
- 42:53comment down there today. Much love and
- 42:55have a great day.
