  11. 0:26devices weren't working very well in
  12. 0:28fact a company a bay area biotech firm
  13. 0:31wanted to make a deal with theranose but

  17. 0:39celgene in 2011 when that company was
  18. 0:41developing a new drug to treat anemia

  20. 0:45interested in theranose to test how its
  21. 0:47medication was working on patients
  22. 0:50because it promised to be faster easier
  23. 0:52and required very little blood but in
  24. 0:54head to head tests with other gold
  25. 0:56standard devices celgene found theranos
  26. 0:58results were off which made it unsafe to
  27. 1:01use on patients sung said celgene
  28. 1:03notified holmes in emails in a
  29. 1:04powerpoint before canceling the deal law
  30. 1:07professor ellen kreitzberg says the
  31. 1:08prosecutor's case is building
  32. 1:11so many witnesses provide small pieces
  33. 1:14that get put together to create an
  34. 1:17entire picture earlier defense attorney
  35. 1:19lance wade cross-examined ex theranos
  36. 1:21lab director dr adam rosendorf for the
  37. 1:24second straight day getting rosendorf to
  38. 1:26concede that in 2014 many validation
  39. 1:29tests on the theranos device were
  40. 1:31successful and rosendorf signed off on
  41. 1:33the results and he again drove the point
  42. 1:35that his lab director rosendorf was
  43. 1:37responsible for fixing any problems with
  44. 1:39the machine the defense is clearly
  45. 1:42trying to show it every step that
  46. 1:44elizabeth holmes either didn't know
  47. 1:46about these problems or if she knew she
  48. 1:49took whatever steps she could or
  49. 1:50delegated it to another person to take
  50. 1:53the steps
  51. 1:54so lynn there are reports today about dr
