- 1:08she provided the results directly to
- 1:10holmes the defense is methodically
- 1:13demonstrating that she is getting a lot
- 1:15of
- 1:16positive
- 1:17information showing that ellen
- 1:19kreitzberg is a law professor at santa
- 1:21clara university she said gangak
- 1:23hedkar's testimony will be key in
- 1:25proving intent the charges that are
- 1:28being brought against elizabeth holmes
- 1:30are not just that she gave investors
- 1:33inaccurate information some of that may
- 1:36or may not even be disputed it's that
- 1:38when she gave the information to
- 1:39investors
- 1:40to doctors and to patients that her
- 1:43state of mind at that time her intent
- 1:46was to defraud them gengakh hedkar quit

- 2:09that a patient was having a miscarriage
- 2:12when she was not she testified i felt
- 2:15uncertain of the validity of the results
- 2:17and felt uncomfortable as a provider
- 2:19having my patients draw there theronos
- 2:21later sent her a corrected test
- 2:24after she already received accurate
- 2:26tests from a different testing company
- 2:32now just before court adjourned today
- 2:34that patient who got those faulty test
- 2:37results saying she was having a
- 2:38miscarriage she took the witness stand
- 2:41to testify
- 2:42reporting live in san jose evan
- 2:44swarnovsky ktvu fox 2 news
- 2:47evan do we know about how many more
- 2:49witnesses are expected to take the stand
- 2:51and possibly who will be called up next
- 2:55well just before the trial started the
- 2:58prosecution put out a witness list
- 3:00there's more than 20 witnesses on there
- 3:03including high profile people like henry
- 3:05kissinger and the journalists for the
- 3:07wall street journal who broke this john
- 3:09kerry roo we don't know if they're going
- 3:11to actually take the witness stand and
- 3:12they may very well call other people to
- 3:14the witness stand as well julie evan i'm
- 3:17wondering how technical is the
- 3:19prosecution can get sometimes you can
- 3:21get overly technical talking about the
- 3:24um
- 3:26the the the the thing that that cam the
- 3:28einstein uh and and how it was created
- 3:31and all of the inner workings and it can
- 3:33just jurors can just glaze over and and
- 3:36it's not effective are you getting any
- 3:38sense of of of how technical they're
- 3:40going to get in their prosecution
- 3:44frank this is a technical case it's a
- 3:46white-collar corporate fraud case it's a
- 3:49paper case they call it so it's not like
- 3:51a criminal case where you have an
- 3:53autopsy and gunshots for example it's
- 3:56all in the documents and it's very
- 3:59technical it's technical for the
- 4:01prosecution and it's even more technical
- 4:03in some cases for the defense who's
- 4:05really picking apart the prosecution
- 4:07piece by piece but so far i've been
- 4:09watching the jury and they seem very
- 4:11engaged with the testimony so far
- 4:13frankly and just real quick how about
- 4:15elizabeth holmes what's she doing during
- 4:17the trial is she engaged any reaction
- 4:19from her
- 4:20that's visible to you
- 4:23yeah elizabeth holmes is very engaged
- 4:25she's sitting upright listening very
- 4:27intently to all of the testimony paying
- 4:29close attention she's got her family
- 4:31there most of the days today as you saw
- 4:33she came in with her mom holding hands
- 4:36this is something that's near and dear
- 4:37to her something she knows every bit
- 4:39about and she's paying very close
- 4:41attention to every word that's being
- 4:43said by every witness all right evan
- 4:46thank you
