- 1:13the trial but prosecutors presented her
- 1:15statements to the jury nonetheless hunt
- 1:18was tried and convicted of first-degree
- 1:20murder on appeal the north carolina
- 1:22supreme court overturned the conviction
- 1:24because prosecutors introduced Hans

- 2:03the DNA profile from the crime scene
- 2:05matched a man who was incarcerated for
- 2:07another murder Willard eat brown the man
- 2:10whose DNA matched the profile of that at
- 2:13the crime
- 2:13scene later pleaded guilty to the murder
- 2:15of Deborah Sykes on February 19 2007 the
- 2:20City of winston-salem settled with hunt
- 2:22in his lawsuit against the city hunt was
- 2:24awarded 1.6 million hunt passed away on
- 2:27March thirteenth 2016 a documentary
- 2:31titled the trials of Darryl hunt was
- 2:33named a Sundance Film Festival selection
- 2:35in 2006
