0:05I want to talk this morning about the
0:07war room.
0:09Last week we talked about welcoming
0:10people to know Jesus. Today I want to
0:12talk about the warfare. And I want to
0:13pray How many of you saw that movie the
0:15war room?
0:17I watched a little bit of it this past
0:18week thinking about this message and
0:20that sweet little
0:21uh lady that got in uh her prayer
0:24closet. She she She was trying to help
0:26that young mother and wife who was
0:29always in a fight with her husband and
0:32that that dear lady didn't know how to
0:34win and that precious old grandmother
0:35took her to her house and said, "This is
0:38where I go to war." And she took her
0:40into a prayer closet and said, "This is
0:42the war room." How many know there's a
0:44war room that's going to lead to the
0:45salvation of your friends and your
0:48family? Come on, your children, your mom
0:49and dad. How many know the effectual
0:51fervent prayers of a righteous man still
0:54produce much? Somebody say amen. So
0:56maybe if we get out of a chat room and
0:58get in a war room, we'd start seeing
0:59people get saved.
1:01That's what I really want to say. So so
1:03let's let's let's go to the war room.
1:05Look at your neighbor, tell them, "Let's
1:06go to the war room today."
1:10If you haven't put your friends, family,
1:12co-workers, neighbors,
1:13mothers, fathers, children, if you
1:15haven't put their name on the wall,
1:16people are filling it up. I want you to
1:18put your name put their name on that
1:19wall because we're believing God to
1:21save.
1:23How many know Jesus is coming?
1:26How many want your family to go to
1:27heaven?
1:31How many want your friends to go to
1:32heaven?
1:34How many know hell's a long time?
1:37Eternity's a long time. I I I want us to
1:39get a burden.
1:41I want us to get serious about praying
1:42for our lost friends and family.
1:45I don't want to go through church
1:46motions and shout and praise God about
1:48how good he's been to me
1:50without knowing he's
1:52saving and moving, touching the lives of
1:54people in my circle that are not right
1:56with him.
1:58I want people to be saved.
2:01First Timothy chapter 2 verse 1.
2:04I urge then first of all that petitions,
2:07prayers, intercession, and thanksgiving
2:10be made for all people, for kings and
2:13for all those in authority
2:15that we may live peaceful and quiet
2:16lives in all godliness and holiness.
2:19This is good and it pleases us pleases
2:21God our savior. Listen to verse 4, who
2:24wants
2:26all people
2:28all men to be saved and to come to the
2:32knowledge of the truth.

2:36All men to be saved and to come to the
2:39knowledge
2:41of the truth. Now,
2:43I also want to read a scripture for you
2:46and
2:48the Bible says in the book of 2
2:50Corinthians chapter 4. I mentioned this
2:53last week. 2 Corinthians chapter 4 verse
2:563 and 4 says this,
2:58"But even if our gospel is hid,
3:02it is hid to those who are perishing.
3:07Listen to this, whose minds the God Can
3:10you get that for me Tobin? 2 Corinthians
3:134:3-4.
3:14But even if our gospel somebody say our
3:17gospel
3:18is veiled or hid, it is veiled or hid to
3:22those who are perishing. Next verse.
3:25Whose minds the God of this age has
3:29blinded
3:30who do not believe less the light of the
3:33gospel of the glory of Christ who is
3:38Keep going. Who is the
3:41image
3:44of God should shine on them. I got to
3:46turn around cuz that's cutting words out
3:48and that ain't the whole gospel. That's
3:49the The gospel. Hallelujah. Next verse
3:51verse five. For we do not preach
3:54ourselves, but Jesus Christ the Lord,
3:56and ourselves your bondservants for
3:58Jesus' sake. Rewind to verse four.
4:00Rewind to verse four. Whose minds the
4:02god of this age has blinded. How many
4:05know lost folk that we know, whether
4:07it's our friends, family, neighbors,
4:09coworkers, they're not just lost, the
4:12enemy's got them blind.
4:14And how many want to know how many want
4:16to see the blindness come off their
4:18life?
4:19So that they can see the goodness of God
4:21and say yes to Jesus Christ.
4:24Come on. Father, help us today to to
4:26talk and to teach and to preach on what
4:29it means to go to war in prayer.
4:32There are people in this place and
4:34people watching me online today whose
4:35families are perishing.
4:38They're lost.
4:39Their eyes are blind.
4:41I'm praying for the grace today, Lord,
4:43to teach
4:45to the point, to the extent that someone
4:47catches a burden and beg- begins to
4:49believe
4:51that no matter how lost and blind their
4:53children are,
4:54no matter how lost and blind their
4:56coworkers are,
4:58no matter how lost and blind their
4:59friends and family are,
5:02you're able to give them sight.
5:05And that you'll rip the blinders off and
5:07let them see the glory of God.
5:09We ask in Jesus' name that our lives
5:11would be filled not with complaint,
5:14not with accusation, but with prayers
5:16and supplication and intercession so
5:18that those who do not know you may come
5:20to know you.
5:21In Jesus' name, and the family said,
5:24amen.
5:25Amen. It's so good to see you. I see my
5:27good friend Chuck and Jen here. We love
5:29you all from Reconcile Church. Come on,
5:31tell Pastor Chuck and Pastor Jen good
5:33morning.
5:35Drove all the way from Arkansas
5:37to be with us and their family, and
5:38we're grateful for them this morning. Um
5:42I I'm going to do something today I
5:43don't typically do. I'm not a guy that
5:45gives you, you know, seven steps. I know
5:47people like that and I do my best
5:50try to make things practical. But before
5:52we leave today, I want to give you seven
5:54things, seven prayer targets to pray for
5:56for your friends and family. Actually, I
5:58want to put something in your hand on
5:59your way out. I think we've got some
6:01bookmarks that have these seven things.
6:05They're they're a combination of things
6:06I've learned in my life.
6:08Many of them, at least four of them,
6:10came from my spiritual father who's in
6:13heaven today, Dr. David Horton, whose
6:15sweet mother, Ruby Horton,
6:18told her son David, who again was my
6:21spiritual father,
6:22um
6:23how to pray for her lost family.
6:26And how she prayed for them, and one by
6:28one systematically all of them have come
6:30into the kingdom of God. I hate making
6:33things feel like a formula, but there
6:35are some principles God just doesn't
6:37ignore.
6:38How many know you if you come to God and
6:40believe that he is, your prayers change
6:42things?
6:43And I want you to know what we've been
6:45talking about over the last couple of
6:47weeks is God's desire to save people.
6:50God's willingness and want to. God
6:52actually has a want to to save
6:55all people.
6:57Now, I think it's important. I don't
6:59want to go too deep, and I thought about
7:01where I would end this because
7:03even the introduction of this, some
7:05people really struggle with God wanting
7:07to save everyone because if God wanted
7:09everyone to be saved, why doesn't
7:10everyone get saved? And then everybody
7:12starts falling out with God because, you
7:14know, you wanted something, but it
7:15didn't happen. Did God create some
7:17people just to send them to hell? The
7:19answer to that question, at least in my
7:21understanding of scripture, is
7:22unequivocally no.
7:24God would never create someone just to
7:26send someone to hell.
7:29Well, why does God choose some and God
7:31doesn't choose others? God wills that
7:32every man be saved and actually paid the
7:35price so that all men could be saved.
7:37There is no one who will go to hell and
7:40blame God that they got there.
7:44All right. If a person goes to hell, it
7:46will not be because God would not save
7:48them. It is because they rejected the
7:50plan of salvation, and there's only one
7:51plan.
7:53And the scripture that I read to you
7:54today is just one of several that lets
7:56us know God is actually desiring to save
7:58all men. And I'm going to say this at
8:00the beginning because that affects how
8:02you and I pray or don't pray.
8:05If you and I come to God actually
8:06believing God would not save our family,
8:09we wouldn't pray for God to save our
8:10family. It And And And if we did, it
8:12would almost be in sort of a passive
8:14prayer mode like, "Lord, if you can."
8:16That is not how we are to pray for our
8:18lost loved ones. It's not how we are to
8:20pray. We We are to go to God in prayer
8:22convinced that as crazy, hellish,
8:26demonic, dark, and messed up as our
8:29friends and family may be,
8:31God wants to save them.
8:33He doesn't just want to save them. He
8:35actually went all out so that all men
8:38and women could be saved. And I think
8:40our church needs to make it hard for
8:42people to go to hell if they live in the
8:43region of Chattanooga and beyond. I
8:46think we need to make it really hard for
8:47people to to decide, "We want to go to
8:49hell." If they want to go to hell, may
8:51it be walking over the goodness and the
8:53grace and the mercy and the love and all
8:56of God's attempts to get the them to see
8:59how much he loves them. Listen to me
9:01very carefully. It's really important
9:03that you get this ingrained deep down in
9:05your heart and in your spirit. God is
9:07not willing, according to 1 Peter, that
9:09any should perish, but that all should
9:11come to repentance and find everlasting
9:13life. That is the will of God. And Paul
9:16told us here in 1 Timothy chapter 4, God
9:19wants all men to be saved. Now, I know
9:23some of us in this room have people in
9:25our minds. It's almost like we
9:26categorize people in our mind. These are
9:28people who are probably about to get
9:30saved. These are people who might be
9:32able to get saved. And then there's that
9:34crazy uncle in the family. You know
9:36he'll never get saved.
9:38But can I tell you that there's not one
9:40person you're thinking of in your mind
9:42right now, no matter how screwed up they
9:44are, how bound they are, how bad they
9:46talk even about God, I want to tell you
9:49right now there is not one person Jesus
9:51cannot save.
9:53He wants to save all humanity.
9:56And he did not come and pay the price
9:59just so that a few people who were born
10:02into a religious family could come in.
10:04He died and he rose again so that the
10:06wicked and the immoral and the godless
10:10and the addicted and the liar and the
10:13cheater, y'all looking at me like y'all
10:16hadn't done that in a while and so maybe
10:18you didn't need it, but I'm going to
10:19tell you all of us were screwed up, all
10:21of us were a mess, all of us needed
10:24Jesus. I don't care how many tongues you
10:26talk in this morning and how many gifts
10:28of the spirit you possess in your life,
10:30every person under the sound of my voice
10:32right now is only on their way to heaven
10:34because of the goodness of God.
10:36It's because of the grace of God and
10:38when we go into prayer, I'm going to
10:40teach you how to pray in just a moment,
10:42but it's important before you go into
10:44prayer that you are convinced that God
10:47you're talking to is actually wanting
10:49you to come into partnership with him so
10:52that the lost people you're praying for
10:54can be saved. You don't need to go into
10:56prayer thinking I've got to talk God
10:59into saving somebody.
11:02You're not talking God into saving
11:04anyone. God gave his only son so that
11:07the world could be saved. HE WANTS EVERY
11:10I'M TALKING TO SOMEBODY TODAY WHO'S BEEN
11:12RAISED in religion and taught that there
11:14ARE SOME PEOPLE GOD JUST DOESN'T WANT TO
11:17HAVE anything to do with. Friend, when
11:19you walk OUT AND YOU GIVE UP on that
11:21person THAT YOU'RE THINKING ABOUT, GOD
11:23IS JUST GETTING STARTED. GOD IS JUST
11:26GOING TO WORK. GOD IS ABLE TO MELT THE
11:29HARDEST HEART LIKE WAX WHENEVER HE
11:33BEGINS TO MOVE IN THEIR LIFE AND WHAT I
11:35WANT TO TALK ABOUT TODAY is the
11:36partnership we give with God
11:39where we come into agreement as
11:41intercessors with God's will to save
11:43even the most defiled, messed up people
11:46you can think about.
11:48I remember watching a um uh uh a story.
11:50It was It was like this um
11:53uh the the show that came on and and it
11:55talked about uh this mass killer, this
11:59this this this murderer, Ted Bundy, who
12:02killed people, who found Jesus in a
12:04prison.
12:06Some people do not think people like
12:08that, notorious sinners who have a
12:10horrible past, Jesus could save. It is
12:13because we have a thimble-sized
12:15revelation of the grace of God.
12:18SOMETIMES WE THINK BECAUSE WE were
12:20decent people and just needed a
12:21religious band-aid on our mess and we
12:23just needed a little bit of Jesus. We
12:25were pretty good people. We We didn't
12:27hurt nobody. We didn't lie. We didn't
12:29cheat. We just We just needed a savior.
12:31SOMETIMES IT'S HARD FOR US WHO'VE BEEN
12:33raised in church all of our life to come
12:35to AN UNDERSTANDING OF JUST HOW deep the
12:37mercy of God and the grace OF GOD ARE.
12:39BUT, I WANT TO TELL YOU, FRIEND, that
12:40there is no one THAT YOU'RE THINKING
12:43ABOUT OR PRAYING FOR or will pray for
12:46THAT IS OFF GOD'S RADAR OF LOVE, MERCY,
12:49and grace. He came to save to the
12:52uttermost. AND I HOPE IF OUR CHURCH CAN
12:55HAVE ANY KIND OF REPUTATION IN THIS CITY
12:57AT ALL, MAY IT BE A CHURCH THAT is a
13:00place FOR THOSE WHO HAVE FOUND NO HOPE
13:02AND FOUND NO SALVATION AND FOUND NO
13:05SECOND BEGINNING AND NEW BEGINNING. MAY
13:07THIS HOUSE BE A HOUSE NOT OF JUDGMENT
13:10AND CONDEMNATION AND SHAME, BUT MAY IT
13:13BE A HOUSE OF LOVE, ACCEPTANCE, AND
13:16FORGIVENESS WHERE WE DO NOT SEE PEOPLE
13:19ACCORDING TO WHO THEY'VE BEEN, BUT WE
13:21RECOGNIZE THAT BECAUSE OF GRACE, GOD IS
13:23WILLING TO TURN A PAGE, START A NEW
13:26CHAPTER, START A NEW LIFE, GIVE SOMEONE
13:29A NEW OPPORTUNITY, AND NO MATTER WHAT
13:31THEIR PAST LOOKS LIKE, IN CHRIST,
13:33THEY'RE A NEW CREATION. Somebody say
13:35amen.
13:39And why are we talking about this at
13:40Resurrection time? Because whether you
13:42like it or not, or whether I like it or
13:43not, people are actually open to talking
13:46about God around this time of year.
13:49Well, they ought to be OPEN TO TALKING
13:50ABOUT GOD EVERY TIME. YES, THEY SHOULD,
13:52BUT THEY'RE NOT. They're lost.
13:54THERE'S A THING CALLED CURIOSITY. YOU
13:57SAY, "OH, I DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'RE
13:58TALKING ABOUT." NICODEMUS HAD IT.
14:00HE WENT TO JESUS AT NIGHT TIME.
14:03DO YOU KNOW THAT NICODEMUS, A TEACHER OF
14:06GOD'S PEOPLE, WENT TO JESUS AT NIGHT
14:09TIME? WHY DID HE GO AT NIGHT TIME?
14:10BECAUSE he was scared.
14:12He didn't want anybody to see him
14:13talking to Jesus,
14:15but he went to Jesus. He was curious
14:17about Christ. THERE ARE A LOT OF PEOPLE
14:19IN OUR GENERATION WHO DON'T HAVE
14:21ANSWERS, AND THEY'RE CURIOUS. AND
14:23JUDGMENTAL, PHARISAICAL CHRISTIANS NEED
14:25TO GET OVER THEMSELVES AND STOP ACTING
14:28LIKE EVERYBODY NEEDS TO GET THE
14:29REVELATION. SOME OF THEM WERE NOT BORN
14:32IN CHURCH. THEY WERE BORN WITH MOM ON A
14:34BAR STOOL AND DAD ON A BAR STOOL, AND
14:36ALL KIND OF CRAZINESS HAPPENING IN THEIR
14:38LIFE. SOME PEOPLE HAVE NEVER HEARD THE
14:40NAME OF JESUS, EVEN IN THEIR 30S AND
14:4340S. AND WHILE THAT IS FOREIGN TO ME,
14:45AND maybe foreign TO YOU, FOR THEM, IT
14:47IS A REAL THING THAT LIVING IN 2026 IN
14:51AMERICA, there are people who do not
14:52even know who Jesus is.
14:57Why is that? Paul tells us,
14:59the god of this world, 2 Corinthians 4,
15:03has blinded them.
15:06They're Yes, they're living in
15:07wickedness.
15:10Yes, they're living in sin.
15:13But they're living in sin and wickedness
15:14because they were born in it and are
15:16staying in it because they're blind to
15:18the plan of God for their life.
15:23I think the church needs to get in touch
15:25with mercy.
15:28I think I'll walk around now.
15:31I think the church needs to get involved
15:33with mercy again.
15:35Do you recognize you can put a post
15:37about God's goodness on the internet and
15:39it takes four flat seconds for a
15:41Pharisee to respond?
15:45I I posted a couple of weeks ago
15:47just a post I'm I'm down the road and I
15:49felt like I needed to tell somebody,
15:50"Nothing can separate you from the love
15:52of God."
15:54I actually quoted the Bible.
15:57Imagine this, I quoted the Bible. What
15:59shall separate us from the love of God?
16:00Shall famine or peril or persecution
16:02shall sword and sword or nakedness or or
16:04or or famine or any of these things?
16:05Nay, in all these things we're more than
16:07conquerors. I just quoted the Bible and
16:08this person got on and said,
16:10"BUT SIN WILL."
16:14OKAY.
16:15THANK YOU.
16:16IT'S AMAZING. AND I DON'T DISAGREE THAT
16:18SIN WILL SEPARATE PEOPLE from the great
16:20FROM FROM GOD. SIN SEPARATES US FROM
16:22GOD, BUT THE WHOLE POINT IS THAT GRACE
16:24BRINGS US BACK TO GOD.
16:27IT'S ALMOST AS IF THE CHURCH HAS A
16:28PROBLEM AND I BELIEVE IN HOLINESS.
16:30YOU'VE BEEN GOING to this church any
16:32amount OF TIME, YOU KNOW WE PREACH
16:33HOLINESS. You know WE PREACH WE DON'T
16:35PREACH grace is a license to sin, BUT
16:38THERE'S GOT TO BE A MESSAGE SOMEWHERE OF
16:40HOPE FOR people who feel like they're so
16:42far from God they cannot be reclaimed
16:45and they cannot be redeemed AND THERE IS
16:47NO HOPE FOR THEM. FRIEND, I WANT TO TELL
16:49YOU THIS MORNING I DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU
16:50DID LAST NIGHT OR WHAT YOU DID LAST WEEK
16:53OR HOW LONG YOU'VE BEEN DOING IT AND
16:55EVEN IF YOU ENJOY IT, I JUST WANT TO
16:58TELL YOU IF YOUR EYES HAVE BEEN BLINDED,
17:00IF YOUR LIFE AND YOUR HEART HAVE GOTTEN
17:02HARD, IF YOU DON'T DON'T WANT ANYTHING
17:05TO DO WITH GOD, IF YOU DON'T WANT
17:06ANYTHING TO DO WITH CHRISTIANITY, IF YOU
17:09THINK EVERY BIT OF IT IS FAKE, I WANT TO
17:11TELL YOU JESUS IS REAL. YES, THERE'S
17:14CRAZY THINGS THAT HAVE HAPPENED IN
17:15CHURCH, BUT THE BEST THING THAT EVER
17:17HAPPENED TO ALL OF US HAPPENED BECAUSE
17:19OF A MAN NAMED JESUS WHO LOVED US WITH
17:22AN EVERLASTING LOVE. AND MAY WE BE A
17:25MERCIFUL PEOPLE. MAY WE BE A GRACIOUS
17:28PEOPLE WHO SEE PERISHING SOULS AND
17:31INSTEAD OF SAYING THEY DESERVE IT, THEY
17:33OUGHT TO GO GET IT, WE OUGHT TO FIND A
17:35WEIGHTINESS AND A HEAVINESS AND SAY,
17:37"GOD, GIVE US AN ANOINTING TO BREAK
17:40THROUGH THE BLINDNESS THAT THIS
17:41GENERATION IS EXPERIENCING."
17:45They're blind.
17:47And they cannot see.
17:50And so, what is the result? What is If
17:52God wants to save,
17:54if God really would save anybody,
17:58what role do we play
18:01in the lives of people that are in our
18:03circle of influence?
18:05What role do we play in helping them
18:08come to a place of salvation?
18:10Do I play a role?
18:12Or am I just
18:14watching on the side? That's your You
18:17have to answer that.
18:18Are you a fan watching the game
18:21or you on the field making a difference?
18:27ARE YOU A FAN WATCHING EVERYBODY IN YOUR
18:30CIRCLE just go through life and just
18:32catch what comes down the pipe and they
18:34get hooked on another drug and they do
18:35something else crazy and they get
18:37further and further away from God. Their
18:39heart seems to get harder. You're just
18:40watching it all happen.
18:42It's not that you don't care. You got
18:44tears in your eyes about it. The problem
18:45is, have you become so
18:47burdened that it leads you
18:50to a change in your behavior?
18:54Have you gotten burdened to the point
18:56yet that you actually get
18:58heavy?
19:01Now, I was grown I was raised with I
19:03told you all I was 15 years old. All my
19:05best friends were 70.
19:0760-year-old men and prayer mamas with
19:10big buns in their hair. That's who I was
19:11raised with. Don't feel sorry for me, I
19:13did all right. Come on, somebody.
19:16But they used to say stuff like this,
19:17and I don't hear this language in the
19:18church anymore.
19:20They used to say,
19:22"I got a burden for so-and-so. I was
19:24driving down the road.
19:26I just felt in my heart a heaviness for
19:28them, and I had to pray for them."
19:30Anybody know what that's like? Anybody
19:32ever had that experience before? I I
19:34just got a burden for somebody. Friend,
19:36I want to tell you right now,
19:37Christianity is not just peanut butter
19:39and jelly.
19:41It's not tiptoeing through the tulips.
19:43When you get the Holy Spirit on the
19:44inside of you, your life is not your
19:46own. He may tap you on the shoulder to
19:48pray for some people who need a
19:49breakthrough, who don't even know they
19:51need a breakthrough. He may get in your
19:53car and start talking to you about
19:54somebody's life and how they need
19:56prayer. You may intercept plans the
19:59enemy had for somebody's life. You may
20:01actually find yourself standing between
20:03hell and the harvest. Somebody who's on
20:06their way to hell, and you were you you
20:08are the one person God could trust with
20:10an assignment to pray, and you stood
20:12between hell and that person, and you
20:15told the Lord, "Lord, save them. Lord,
20:17forgive them. Lord, have mercy on them.
20:19Lord, Lord, don't let them don't let
20:21them keep living like they're living."
20:23And I know this is going to sound
20:24old-fashioned to some of us, but what
20:26we're watching happen in today's church
20:29is we are TEACHING PEOPLE SIMPLY HOW TO
20:31do live their best life now. And I want
20:34to tell you, IF YOU'LL WALK IN THE
20:36SPIRIT, IT'LL BE the greatest joy you've
20:38ever had, but it will also lead you to
20:40places OF FEELING THE HEART OF GOD,
20:43carrying a burden THAT IS NOT ABOUT YOUR
20:46COMFORT AND AND HOW WONDERFUL it can be.
20:48Sometimes you need to wake up at 3:00 in
20:51the morning and pray for THAT BABY THAT
20:54GOD GAVE YOU 20 YEARS AGO. AND YOU AND
20:56THE DEVIL MAY BE SITTING ON THEIR
20:58SHOULDER TELLING THEM THERE'S NO HOPE,
21:00AND IT MIGHT BE YOU WAKING UP IN THE
21:02MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT SAYING, "GOD, HAVE
21:04MERCY." THAT KEEPS THE HAND OF THE ENEMY
21:08FROM TOUCHING THEIR LIFE.
21:14AND I I'M I am just concerned. I'm
21:17wondering.
21:19Does today's church have place for a war
21:22room again?
21:25Cuz you teach like this and some people
21:26say, "Well, there you need to calm down
21:28a little bit. You know, Christianity is
21:30not about war." Tell that to Paul.
21:33Tell that to Paul who told his people
21:35how to put on the armor of God.
21:38This sound like a cruise ship to me. It
21:40sound like a battleship.
21:42Put on the whole armor of God that you
21:43may be able to stand in the evil day.
21:45What is that? I don't want anything to
21:48do with that.
21:49That ain't what I was told. I was TOLD I
21:51COME TO JESUS AND HE'S THE SUGAR DADDY

22:21AUTHORITY. SOME OF US ARE GETTING OUR
22:24TAIL KICKED.
22:28WE'RE GETTING OUR TAIL KICKED NOT
22:29BECAUSE JESUS TOOK A BREAK, NOT BECAUSE
22:32GOD IS A MILLION MILES AWAY. WE'RE
22:34GETTING OUR TAIL KICKED BECAUSE WE SPEND
22:36MORE TIME IN THE CHAT ROOM THAN WE DO IN
22:38THE PRAYER ROOM. AND IF YOU WANT TO HAVE
22:40VICTORY, YOU'VE GOT TO HAVE A WALK WITH
22:42GOD. I'M NOT GOING TO GET NO HELP TODAY,
22:44BUT I'M GOING TO PREACH AND DELIVER MY
22:46SOUL BECAUSE I BELIEVE THAT THERE ARE
22:47PEOPLE RIGHT NOW ON THEIR WAY TO HELL
22:51AND SOMEBODY'S SPIRIT IN THIS ROOM AND
22:53SOMEBODY'S SPIRIT ONLINE IS GOING TO
22:55WAKE UP TO THE FACT THAT I'VE GOT
22:57AUTHORITY. MY PRAYERS DO PRODUCE CHANGE.
23:00THERE'S SOMETHING ABOUT MY PRAYER THAT
23:03HEAVEN WILL MOVE UPON, AND I'M TRYING TO
23:06FIND JUST ONE PERSON WHO WILL GO BACK TO
23:08AN ALTAR TO SAY, "GOD, TILL IT HAPPENS,
23:11I'LL STAY HERE IN A PLACE OF PRAYER TILL
23:14I SEE IT. I'LL CALL ON THE NAME OF THE
23:17LORD."
23:21SO,
23:23God wants We have to establish this.
23:26God wants to save everybody.
23:30Well, I was taught at my last We're
23:31thankful what you were taught at your
23:32last church. We don't teach reformed
23:34theology here.
23:36I don't teach that some people were
23:37created and have no choice. They'll go
23:39to hell just like that. I don't believe
23:41the Bible teaches that kind of God.
23:44I'm not trying to pick a theological
23:46fight, but if you don't have it settled
23:48in your mind that God can save anybody,
23:50it will affect how you pray or don't
23:51pray.
23:53If you don't think God can save your
23:54drug-addict son because somebody told
23:57you he's not one of the elect, you won't
23:59pray right.
24:01If you're a mother, I'm I'm going to key
24:03in on this today cuz moms and dads, I'm
24:06here for you. I I I PROMISE YOU, DEVIN
24:09AND I KNOW WHAT IT IS TO contend for the
24:10soul of our children. WE WE YOU SAY,
24:13"WELL, YOU ALL your children love the
24:15Lord." WE'VE HAD TO FIGHT THE DEVIL. YOU
24:17SAY, "YOU SHOULDN'T TALK LIKE THIS."
24:18WE'VE HAD TO WAR. WE'VE HAD TO CONFESS.
24:21WE'VE HAD TO PROPHESY. WE'VE HAD TO BIND
24:24THE ENEMY. WE DIDN'T JUST WAKE UP AND
24:26ALL ALL MAGICALLY, ALL OF OUR CHILDREN
24:28LOVE JESUS. WE'VE HAD TO TEACH THEM THE
24:31TRUTH. WE'VE HAD TO MAKE PEOPLE MAD.
24:33WE'VE HAD TO TELL THE DEVIL TO GET OUT.
24:36WE'VE HAD TO REBUKE THE HAND OF THE
24:37ENEMY, AND WE'VE HAD TO PLEAD FOR GOD TO
24:40HAVE MERCY.
24:43SOME OF YOU CAN'T HANDLE THIS. YOU WANT
24:45ME TO STAND UP HERE AND ACT LIKE BECAUSE
24:47I'M YOUR PASTOR, EVERYTHING WE TOUCH
24:49TURNS TO GOLD. I WANT TO TELL YOU
24:51EVERYTHING THAT GOD'S CALLED US TO HAS
24:54ALWAYS BEEN MET WITH OPPOSITION. THE
24:56ENEMY WILL NEVER, EVER STOP FIGHTING,
24:59BUT HE WILL NEVER, EVER WIN. GREATER IS
25:03HE THAT IS IN US THAN THE I NEED

25:51I remember preaching the worst sermon
25:52I've ever preached in my life.
25:56It wasn't when I was 18. That was bad,
25:57but it wasn't the worst one.
26:00I was pastoring
26:01Mountain Meadows Church of God.
26:05It was the worst message I've ever
26:08preached.
26:10It felt like crackers in my mouth.
26:13I was fumbling and my mind was warring
26:17and on the second row
26:19on that Sunday morning
26:21somebody said, "WHY DO YOU MAKE A BIG
26:22deal about Resurrection Sunday?" CUZ MY
26:24SISTER came to church
26:26on a Resurrection Sunday.
26:28One of the worst messages I'VE EVER
26:30PREACHED IN MY LIFE.
26:31I'm sitting THERE GOING, "YOU GOT TO DO
26:33BETTER THAN THIS. YOUR sister's here
26:35and she NEEDS GOD."
26:37AND I'M SAYING, "LORD, I'm having a war
26:39in my mind."
26:41Worst message I ever preached. At the
26:43end of it
26:44my sister jumped up and ran to the altar
26:47and gave her life to God.
26:49How many of EVER HEARD THE CHARLIE BROWN
26:51PRAISE BREAK? You ever heard that? That
26:53was from that service.
26:55WHAT WAS THE HARDEST SERVICE I'VE EVER
26:58HAD IN MY LIFE WAS NOTHING MORE THAN THE
27:00ENEMY SAYING, "I'M GOING TO KEEP HER.
27:03I'M NOT LETTING HER GO." AND I WAS
27:05WARRING WHILE I WAS PREACHING. I'M GOING
27:07TO PREACH TODAY WHETHER YOU LIKE IT OR
27:08NOT. I WAS WARRING WHILE I WAS
27:11PREACHING. I WAS WARRING OVER HER SOUL.
27:14I FELT LIKE I HAD FAILED THE WHOLE
27:16FAMILY, BUT GOD SHOWED UP IN THE MIDDLE
27:18OF THE SERMON. I WANT TO TELL YOU THE
27:21DEVIL WILL NEVER STOP FIGHTING, BUT HE
27:24WILL NEVER WIN. GOD!
27:29GOD
27:30IS GOING TO BREAK THROUGH YOUR FAMILY.
27:33GOD IS GOING TO SAVE YOUR CHILDREN.
27:42I got to go to my notes.
27:44I'm
27:46God wants to save everybody.
27:50YOU DON'T HAVE A
27:51A SON OR A daughter
27:53so screwed up
27:56God can't save them.
27:58You don't got a co-worker or a boss so
28:00messed up
28:02God can't save them.
28:05So
28:06So I need you to catch this. God wants
28:08to save everybody,
28:10but we got to pray
28:12for their eyes to come open.
28:19You uh
28:21You may not be moved today,
28:25but when something you love
28:28comes under an attack,
28:31you'll move.
28:36Like Rizpah
28:39who stood on the rock
28:41and beat the birds off her boys
28:45so they couldn't be destroyed.
28:48And I know everybody needs this today,
28:49but some days you're not assigned to the
28:51whole crowd, you're assigned to that one
28:54who felt like giving up.
28:56Who said, "Pastor, you don't know how
28:58bad it's gotten." I'm going to tell you,
28:59friend, I don't know how bad it's
29:00gotten, but you don't for one moment
29:02look at your preacher and think you you
29:04can't imagine what I'm going through.
29:06You have absolutely no clue how faithful
29:08God's been to that woman over there and
29:09me.
29:10God's been faithful.
29:15God's been faithful to intercept plans,
29:19intercept bad relationships.
29:21I'm going to walk around here today.
29:23See, you got to understand something
29:25about the enemy. He'll sneak in and
29:27he'll do whatever he can, overtly,
29:29covertly, hidden, in plain view. The
29:33enemy will work in all kinds OF WAYS.
29:35WHAT I'M TRYING to tell you is the
29:36church has got to Do you know one reason
29:39why we have such a struggle sometimes on
29:41Sunday but with with with worshipping
29:43God or lifting our hands? It's because
29:44of what we carried in this room.
29:48And much of it is burden.
29:50Much of it is heaviness. Even for some
29:52mothers and fathers, it's the feeling of
29:54I didn't do enough.
29:57I screwed up as a mom or a dad. I didn't
30:00do what I was supposed to as a parent.
30:01The enemy just piles it on you. Look how
30:03bad it's gotten. Look at what you didn't
30:05do. Look at Look at how you failed. Look
30:08And at some point you just got to say to
30:09the devil, "Shut up."
30:12Just shut up.
30:14You say, "You shouldn't say shut up. You
30:15should say it this way. Talk to my hand,
30:17devil, because my ears are not
30:19listening. Y- Y- YES, I HAVEN'T BEEN
30:22EVERYTHING I WAS SUPPOSED to be. YES, I
30:25PROBABLY COULD HAVE DONE SOME THINGS
30:26BETTER, BUT I'M STILL holding on to the
30:28promises of God. I'm still holding on to
30:31the PROMISES OF GOD. I'M STILL BELIEVING
30:33THAT WHAT GOD SAID ABOUT YOUR FAMILY AND
30:36MY FAMILY IS GOING TO COME TO PASS. I
30:38STILL BELIEVE HELL WILL RUE THE day it
30:41ever messed WITH YOU AND YOUR FAMILY
30:43TREE. I STILL BELIEVE THE GOODNESS OF
30:46GOD IS BETTER THAN THE BADNESS OF THE
30:48DEVIL. I STILL BELIEVE THAT THE YES OF
30:51GOD IS GREATER THAN THE NO OF SATAN.
30:57LET ME GIVE YOU SOME MORE TO BACK THIS
30:58UP. Give me just 10 15 more minutes. Go
31:00to
31:01Let me see.
31:03Here. Go go to I'm upside down, that's
31:05why.
31:07Go to the book of
31:10Acts.
31:12I believe it was 11:14 I gave you or
31:1514:11.
31:17Uh
31:17Tobin
31:18and the team.
31:20And this is a story about
31:22Peter who was a Jew being called by God
31:26to to preach the gospel to the Gentile
31:29house.
31:30You know the story. He's up on the roof.
31:32Three times he hears the voice of God.
31:34Rise, Peter. Kill and eat. And Peter
31:37said, "I'm not touching that. It's not
31:38clean."
31:40Three times this kosher Jewish man
31:43argues with the voice of God.
31:46God says, "This is for you." And Peter
31:48said, "It's not kosher. I don't touch
31:49unclean things." And God essentially
31:51told him, "How dare you call unclean
31:54what I'm cleaning up?"
31:56I'm going to tell you right now you
31:56better be careful how you talk about
31:58people.
32:00Cuz the people you put your mouth on may
32:01very well may be cleansed by the grace
32:03of God and you might actually be lining
32:06your mouth up with the accuser of the
32:07brethren.
32:10And I'm going to tell you there's some
32:11people who wear suits and ties and have
32:12their name on eight different church
32:14membership rolls, but they are accusers.
32:17And if you walk around your whole life,
32:19you don't have to say amen, just sit
32:20there and handle this one. But if you
32:22walk around your whole life accusing
32:23people, you are not acting like God. You
32:26are not holy and you are not righteous.
32:29It's judgmentalism.
32:33And Peter said, "I'm not touching this."
32:34And God said, "How you dare you call
32:36unclean what I've cleaned?" and you know
32:37this Peter's telling this story. He's
32:39telling it to the Pharisees and the Jews
32:41and the reason he's telling them this is
32:43because they're mad that he's
32:45fellowshipping with Gentiles.
32:47And Peter said, "What do you want me to
32:49do?"
32:52He said, "Three men showed up at my door
32:54and God told me they were coming before
32:55they got there."
32:57And he told me to go with them and
32:58preach the gospel to the Cornelius
33:00household.
33:02Watch this. And here's what he said. He
33:04said, "And this message, I believe it's
33:0611:14 or 14:11, whatever I gave you.
33:09This message that I give you, Peter,
33:11when you give it to Cornelius, it will
33:13save him, listen, and his whole house."
33:18This message of the gospel will save a
33:21Gentile named Cornelius and his whole
33:23house. Did you hear that?
33:26God never intended to save the father of
33:29the house without saving the whole
33:30family.
33:37Now, ain't that the only place in Acts
33:38where it talks about that? Remember the
33:40Philippian jailer in Acts 16?
33:42"Believe
33:44Paul said to him. Believe, there it is,
33:46right there. Acts 11:
33:49verse 14. I told you, my brain hadn't
33:51left me yet, glory.
33:53Who will tell you by your words which
33:56you and all your house will be saved."
33:58Peter was saying, "God gave me a message
34:00to give to this Gentile man and by this
34:02message he would be saved and his whole
34:04house."
34:05And then in Acts chapter 16, the
34:07Philippian jailer, who was not a Jewish
34:10man, he was a Gentile, who kept
34:12oversight over the prisoners in the
34:14Philippian jail. And when God broke Paul
34:17and Silas free, that man was not going
34:19fit to live. He didn't even want to live
34:22and he said, "Don't kill yourself." He
34:23said, "You and if you'll believe,
34:27if you'll believe, you and your whole
34:29house
34:32shall be saved.
34:34Listen to me. That you you you've got to
34:36get into a place where you believe this.
34:38That when God saved you, it wasn't to
34:40end with you. It was to hit everything
34:43in your house. Everybody under your
34:45roof. And you say, "Well, you know,
34:47they're so far away from God." Good.
34:49What a testimony they're going to have
34:51when God brings them back. They I'm
34:53telling you they'll be the devil's worst
34:54nightmare. If they're out there sowing
34:56their wild oats right now, I am telling
34:59you Jack, THEY'LL STAND UP ON A PULPIT
35:02SOMEWHERE AND TELL OF THE GOODNESS OF
35:04GOD AND THE ENEMY WILL LOOK AT HIMSELF
35:07AND SAY, "Why did I ever get him
35:08addicted to drugs? Why did I ever let
35:11him mess AROUND WITH WOMEN? WHY DID I
35:13EVER LET HER GET LOCKED UP IN
35:15PROSTITUTION? NOW EVERYTHING CONNECTED
35:18TO HER IS GOING TO GET BROUGHT INTO
35:20FREEDOM BECAUSE OF WHAT GOD HAS DONE IN
35:22THEIR LIFE."
35:29He'll save everybody. That's the plan.
35:32I want to give you seven things
35:34to pray.
35:36Seven things. And if I understand it
35:38correctly, we have some uh
35:40Anna, you're just the best.
35:42She put these together for me this
35:44morning. Just bookmarks that you can get
35:46on the way out. Is that right? And if we
35:48run out, we have it. You can touch the
35:50seat back
35:52mark of the beast thing in front of you.
35:57I'm kidding.
35:58And there's a digital one.
36:00I'm going to walk through these real
36:01quick and I'm going to let them kidding
36:02you. That's not the mark of the beast.
36:05My mom was like, "I ain't paying my
36:06taxes on that." I don't know.
36:09Mom, it's okay. Ain't nobody coming to
36:10get you. Glory to God. All right.
36:14Somebody say mighty to save.
36:16I'm going to give you seven things to
36:17pray for.
36:21You got to get a target.
36:24I said you got to get a target."
36:27You can't just You can't just pray,
36:30you know,
36:31"Lord, save Bill." Okay.
36:34Get specific.
36:36Let's get a target.
36:38Who are we going to pray for this week?
36:41I'm asking you.
36:43Not rhetorically. I'm asking you right
36:44now. I'm putting you on the spot. Write
36:46it down. Who are you going to pray for
36:47this week?
36:49Write it on the wall out there.
36:51Who in your circle of influence
36:53has God called you and I to partner with
36:57him for the salvation of their soul?
37:02Number one,
37:03pray their spiritual blindness is
37:05removed. Somebody said, "These are seven
37:06points. How many How long are you going
37:08to teach on each one?" Very quickly,
37:09Mabel. Very quickly, okay?
37:13Here we go. Somebody say, "Pray for
37:14their spiritual blindness to be
37:15removed."
37:17Say it. Say, "Pray
37:19for their spiritual blindness
37:21to be removed."
37:23That's where it need to start.
37:25If they're lost, they're blind.
37:29Lost duck
37:32in high weeds.
37:34Blind as a bat.
37:36You can talk to them about how good
37:37God's been to you, and they look at you
37:38like they don't even have a
37:40comprehension of what you're talking
37:41about.
37:42You can say, "The I was driving down the
37:43road, and the Lord spoke to me," and
37:44they go, "What?
37:46God talks?"
37:48Blind.
37:49Unspiritual.
37:51Stop criticizing them. Start loving them
37:53and praying for them.
37:55Pray for When you go into your war room,
37:59put the names of these precious people
38:01that you're praying for.
38:02Put them somewhere. Have a place of
38:04prayer. I don't have time to teach that
38:06today, but have a place of prayer. And
38:08in that place of prayer, put their
38:09names. I was talking to Brother Dwayne
38:11this morning at pre-service prayer where
38:13the brothers came back and prayed with
38:14me. He told me a story about his mama.
38:17She had a pine tree in her backyard. Is
38:19this right, Dwayne? Had a pine tree in
38:21her backyard, and every person in her
38:22family she would begin to pray for them
38:24and she'd put a rock around that pine
38:27tree and he said before she died that
38:29stack of stones around that pine tree
38:31was above his knee.
38:34She just kept praying for people. He
38:35said, "I don't know which rock was me,
38:37but somewhere in that pile of rocks was
38:39my name and I'm standing in church this
38:41morning cuz my mama prayed for me. I am
38:43telling you family something happens
38:45when you pray." There he is standing
38:47right there with his hand in the air.
38:48Glory to God.
38:53Pray for the blindness to be removed.
38:55Lord, move the blinders from their eyes
38:57that they may see the love of God, that
39:00they may see the goodness of God.
39:01Secondly, pray for God to send, this is
39:04key, merciful laborers
39:08into their lives. Dr. Horton taught us
39:10this. He said, "Don't just pray for God
39:13to send them church people, pray for
39:15loving, merciful church people."
39:17Now, I'm I could preach on this one
39:19right here.
39:20Cuz the last thing I want my lost loved
39:22ones and lost friends to encounter is a
39:24Pharisee.
39:29Cuz how many know some people can come
39:30around and touch with religion and want
39:32nothing to do with God.
39:33And the reality of it is God and
39:35religion are not very connected. We just
39:37think they are and what we want people
39:39to do is come into a revelation of God's
39:41love through merciful laborers.
39:46So, when you start praying for your
39:47friends and family, start praying God
39:48send merciful laborers into their path.
39:51What's a merciful laborer? I think it's
39:53somebody who's always got joy,
39:55someone who's always tender-hearted,
39:59someone who sees compassionately,
40:02someone who can see past the place
40:04they're in and actually see them at a
40:06place in their future by the grace of
40:08God.
40:10Start praying for God to put merciful
40:11laborers in their path, people who
40:13actually want Jesus to save them and not
40:16condemn them.
40:19Number three,
40:21very important, pray for them to
40:22experience conviction of sin.
40:27Conviction of sin, why would I pray
40:29that? Because if you're Listen,
40:30conviction is to your spirit what pain
40:33is to your body. If you don't have pain,
40:35you could walk along a beach, cut your
40:36foot on a jagged
40:38glass bottle and bleed to death without
40:40pain.
40:42Cuz pain lets you know something's
40:43hurting.
40:44Pain lets you know something's wrong.
40:46Conviction to their heart lets them know
40:49they're wrong and they need Jesus to
40:51save them. So, you pray for them, "Lord,
40:53let them experience conviction." Now,
40:56listen to me, family, it's important you
40:57catch this. Conviction is necessary, but
41:00a revelation of God's goodness is what
41:02actually leads them to transformation.
41:04So, you want them to feel conviction,
41:06but you don't want them to sorrow like
41:08the world sorrows.
41:10Because when you sorrow like that, there
41:11is no hope left. And there's always hope
41:14in Jesus.
41:16Number four,
41:18pray their heart becomes open and
41:20receptive.
41:23Because how many know that if God sends
41:25good seed, it needs to fall in good
41:27soil?
41:28It needs to fall on a heart that's ready
41:30for it. That's why Listen to me, you've
41:32got to be patient with God's work in a
41:35sinner's life.
41:37Why do I say that? Because you got to
41:39hear me.
41:40You water some plants some water, but
41:42God is the one that gives the increase.
41:45You may not get to reap the harvest, but
41:48you are going to be a part of their
41:50salvation experience.
41:52I got a question for you. Do you have to
41:54get the glory for their salvation with
41:55some huge story or you okay if God
41:57raises somebody else to lead your family
42:00and friends to Jesus?
42:06So, pray for their heart to become open
42:07and receptive. Lord, give them a tender
42:09heart.
42:11Lord, get them a tender heart. Give an
42:13open heart. These These are These are
42:15strategies to pray. Number five, this is
42:17crazy. Some of you are going to disagree
42:19with this cuz you say they might get
42:20freaked out. They need to be freaked
42:22out.
42:23Pray for divine encounters.
42:26Wow.
42:27Well, we don't want it to get spooky. We
42:29don't want them to feel weird. I want my
42:31Someone said, "We don't want the lost to
42:33feel We don't want the lost to feel
42:34uncomfortable." I actually do.
42:37I want them to squirm.
42:40I want them to think, "What is wrong
42:42with me? I need something in my life."
42:45Pray for divine encounters for angels
42:46unaware.
42:51Pray for the glory of God to invade
42:53their heart. What if God doesn't need my
42:55sermon to communicate his deity to
42:57someone? What if he just wanted to
42:58reveal his goodness? This is crazy, but
43:00this is happening in the Middle East
43:01right now.
43:03There are scores of Muslims coming to
43:05Christ because of a dream they're having
43:07of a man standing in white who claims to
43:08be the Messiah, and they're giving their
43:10life to him, and they're waking up, and
43:12they're following him, and they're
43:13living for Jesus. And I want to tell you
43:15this and and rightfully so, we are
43:16praying for the church of Iran. Can I
43:18tell you the fastest growing church in
43:20the world is in the underground church
43:21of Iran.
43:25You said, "Oh, I didn't know that. I
43:27didn't know that. I thought it was
43:28America." Actually, America needs
43:30revival.
43:32But you take yourself over to Iran and
43:34you see these people who are willing to
43:35give their life for Jesus. Why? Because
43:37they're encountering the power and the
43:38glory of God, and nobody has to beg them
43:40to follow Jesus or yes say yes to
43:42Christ.
43:43Divine encounters. Pray for God to set
43:45them up.
43:49Number six, here we go. I'm almost done.
43:52Pray for boldness
43:54to witness and to invite.
44:01I'm going to ask you a and it's not a
44:02rhetorical question, and no shame is
44:04meant by it. Help me Seth, I'm I'm I'm
44:06landing.
44:07No shame is meant by this. When's the
44:09last time you you invited someone to
44:11the house of the Lord or witnessed your
44:13faith?
44:14No, don't don't don't answer. I'm really
44:15not trying to shame. I'm not in I'm I'm
44:17not even trying to put this on you
44:18personally. I'm trying to wake you up.
44:22If you have the baptism of the Holy
44:24Spirit and you're saved and you love
44:26Jesus,
44:27there is an intention of God filling you
44:29with His presence and power.
44:31It's not so you can feel a goosebump on
44:32your neck and be like, "Woo, I feel God.
44:34That's great."
44:37But the power of God is to witness
44:38boldly.
44:41Have you ever shared your faith with
44:43someone?
44:45I'm not talking about have cuz some
44:46people say, "Well, I don't know how to
44:47preach." I didn't We're not talking
44:49about Gary Keelan preaching here.
44:53I'm talking about have you just shared
44:54what God's done for you?
44:56Have you shared how he turned your life
44:58around?
44:59That's witnessing.
45:01Witnessing doesn't start out like this.
45:04You want to go to heaven or hell?
45:07Just answer now.
45:11Like
45:14My name is John. How about you? I was
45:16like
45:18That's That's not what I'm talking
45:20about.
45:21I'm talking about the loving
45:23bold communication
45:26with a person you know
45:28who's looking, searching. And what if
45:30you have found it?
45:33And what if you're just one of those
45:35people someone else has prayed for to
45:37encounter their loved one? What if you
45:39encounter them?
45:40What is that encounter going to look
45:42like?
45:43This week it could look like a co-worker
45:45who comes to your cubicle. Maybe a
45:48tear's in her eye because her family's
45:50falling apart.
45:52And maybe instead of typing through and
45:54ignoring her presence, maybe you have to
45:56stop for 30 seconds and say,
45:58"Girlfriend, I got you. Let's pray."
46:02Why don't you come to church with me and
46:03we'll we'll gang up on the devil
46:06together.
46:11It could be that single parent mother
46:15at the restaurant that you encountered
46:16today
46:17that you thought you would tip a dollar.
46:20I just got all up in our business,
46:22didn't I?
46:30It just happened to me and Rick this
46:31past 2 weeks ago, sitting there eating
46:34and you could tell when somebody wants
46:35to talk.
46:37I was like, I don't want to talk. I was
46:40I let dear to Davis talk. Lord, can I
46:42just have a peaceful
46:43lunch with this bald-headed man?
46:50He's not here, so I can talk about it.
46:52Um, he's in the back. Um
46:57He's over there. Okay, he's over there.
47:00He's still bald. It doesn't matter.
47:01Okay.
47:06And this lady just keeps talking.
47:10Sweetest
47:11and she starts telling her story.
47:14Her unfaithful husband
47:16who left her and her kids
47:18and she's trying to start all over again
47:21and was really successful
47:23while she was married, but now she's
47:27trying to pay for her house and raise
47:30her kids and
47:37You know, there's a man who got like
47:39that in the Bible.
47:41The Bible said he fell among thieves.
47:44He was going from Jerusalem to Jericho,
47:46which is a descent.
47:49And he got
47:50he got robbed and beaten up
47:53and a Levite passed him. You know what a
47:55Levite is?
47:57That's the preacher.
47:59And a priest passed him
48:01and kept on walking.
48:04Do you know that a Levite and a priest
48:06would have been on their way to
48:07minister?
48:11But a Samaritan walked by and saw the
48:13same beaten up man and didn't keep
48:15walking.
48:17He stopped.
48:24Poured in the oil and the wine.
48:27Bandaged up his wounds, put him on his
48:29donkey, sent him to the hotel and said,
48:31"I'll pay the bill."
48:34You might look at that story and think
48:35the Levite and the priest are the most
48:37important people in the story. They're
48:39on their way to minister.
48:42But the Samaritan was not on his way to
48:44minister. He was ministering while he
48:45was on his way.
48:53I think sometimes we the church have got
48:55to get engaged with God again in the
48:57role of people's breakthrough and
48:59salvation.
49:01What if God wanted to save our friends
49:03and family? He was just waiting on us to
49:05do some warring in prayer.
49:10Just binding the enemy.
49:12Telling the devil, "Get your hands off
49:14my friends. Get your hands off my
49:17family."
49:21The last one, set number seven, pray
49:23they have a yes in their heart to Jesus.
49:28He said, "I stand at the door and knock.
49:29If anybody will let me, I'll come in and
49:31sup with them." And what I want you to
49:32begin to pray with with targeted
49:34specificity is, "Lord,
49:37put a yes in my baby's heart for you.
49:40Put a yes in my friend's heart for you."
49:45How many have somebody in your circle
49:47who doesn't know Jesus as Lord
49:50and is away from God, lift your hand.
49:59Jesus is the answer
50:03for the world today.
50:07Above him there's no other. Hey, baby

50:32You know what I could have put as number
50:34eight, and this would be really good
50:35when we're done, but some of you needs
50:36to get a good prayer partner.
50:39If one can put a thousand to flight,
50:43come on, stand with me. Two can put ten
50:44thousand to flight.
50:46You might just need to go get you one of
50:47those sweet prayer mamas in this church.
50:54One of those sweet mamas that know how
50:55to get a prayer through, or a a brother
50:57that knows how to get a prayer through,
50:59and just hang out with them a little bit
51:01in prayer.
51:07But how many can come into agreement
51:08with me that God wants to save our
51:10friends and our family?
51:12Lift your hands up. Come on, let's lift
51:13your hands up. Lord, I pray today
51:17that an I don't care
51:21nonchalant attitude
51:24would just be ripped out of our heart.
51:27And that you'd put a mantle, a warring
51:30mantle, for the souls of those who mean
51:33most to us.
51:35Lord, no one is promised tomorrow, and
51:37I'm just asking you now, without making
51:40us feel unnecessarily heavy
51:43or guilty,
51:46teach us the difference between guilt
51:47and a burden.
51:50That guilt is about shame, but burden is
51:52about the future.
51:54And you're giving us burdens to pray so
51:56that the future of our family and future
51:58of our friends can be a very different
52:00kind of future.
52:02I pray God against my family and friends
52:05who are lost. I pray against them
52:06wasting the rest of their life.
52:10Come on, Lord, right now.
52:12We ask you to remove spiritual
52:13blindness.
52:15We ask you to Come on, get in agreement
52:17with me right now. Let's go. Father, we
52:18ask you to open their eyes, the eyes of
52:21their heart that they may see the
52:22goodness of God. We pray for merciful
52:25laborers to be sent into their life in
52:27the name of Jesus. Not just Not just
52:30church people, but merciful laborers who
52:32love God. Merciful laborers who are full
52:35of the love of Jesus. Father, for all my
52:37family who I've been praying for, for
52:39all my friends who I've been praying
52:40for, send them merciful laborers who
52:43will who will show how good and how
52:45loving you are. How kind you are.
52:46Father, we pray for a conviction of sin
52:49to rest on us in this house. I pray it
52:52would rest on our family and friends.
52:53The kind of conviction that lets them
52:55know I'm bleeding, my life is hurting,
52:57and I need Jesus. Lord, let conviction,
53:00true Holy Spirit conviction that leads
53:03to repentance. Come on, let it rest upon
53:05us. Some of Some of these Some Some high
53:07schoolers, some college students need to
53:08pray for some friends that you got. You
53:11need to pray for some friends that you
53:12got. You You You say, "Pastor Kevin,
53:14they'll finally find Jesus one day." No,
53:16no, no. That's the plan of the enemy for
53:18you to think that salvation can be put
53:21off. Today is the day of salvation. If
53:24today is the day of salvation, then God
53:26give us an urgency. God give us an
53:29urgency to pray in the precious name of
53:32Jesus. Lord, we pray right now that
53:34their hearts become tender and open and
53:36receptive. That people would begin to
53:38see and open their heart. Come on. Oh,
53:41God, give us divine appointment that
53:43people would we would we would encounter
53:45people who are just they're just ready
53:47to come in. I'm asking you Lord to give
53:48our church a hungry heart
53:51in the name of Jesus a boldness to
53:53witness a boldness to invite a boldness
53:56to bring a boldness to welcome a
53:58boldness to introduce in the name of the
54:01Lord. We won't JUST HAVE OUR SALVATION
54:03TO OURSELVES. LET US SEE THE WORLD
54:06TURNED UPSIDE DOWN. LET US SEE OUR LIFE
54:09AS A SALT THAT CAN BE TASTED a life that
54:12can be seen.
54:14God, I pray for divine encounters.
54:18And I pray their hearts would say yes to
54:19Jesus.
54:21I am asking you Lord.
54:26Save those
54:28who we know.
54:30Save those who we don't even know but
54:32you're going to put us in their lives.
54:38May a contagious
54:39salvation
54:45May a move of God that brings souls in
54:47break out in this house.
54:50May it be strangers and families.
54:53May it be people we don't know and
54:56loved ones that we help bring into this
54:57world.
54:59Save.
55:01Save.
55:03Lord, I pray this week somebody would
55:06get a war room.
55:09I pray somebody would get a place of
55:11prayer.
55:12I pray somebody would carve out an hour
55:16and just start going to war
55:19until their blindness is removed and
55:21their chains fall off.
55:23Until the hard heart melts like wax in
55:25the presence of the Lord. Bless the
55:27people of God today.
