The Victims of Matan Even — Transcript
Full transcript
- 0:00There's no one who strikes fear into the
- 0:02hearts of modern-day celebrities quite
- 0:03like Matan Evan. Known to some as the
- 0:06Bill Clinton kid, he's been making waves
- 0:08online since the age of 12 by crashing
- 0:10awards ceremonies, conferences, and
- 0:13basketball games to immediately cause a
- 0:15ruckus.
- 0:16>> Hi Slasher, it's me. Here's the shirt I
- 0:18wore. It's the proof.
- 0:20>> But that headline making bait and switch
- 0:22with a Clippers jersey was just the tip
- 0:24of the iceberg. and he's been wreaking
- 0:25havoc on everyone ever since, becoming
- 0:28one of the most divisive trolls in the
- 0:30entire online realm.
- 0:32>> You know, I didn't know that I was going
- 0:33to be sitting talking to a bunch of
- 0:34illiterate people who don't know how to
- 0:36read. But, uh,
- 0:37>> you're literally 15. What do you know?
- 0:39>> You know how to read?
- 0:40>> Yes, I do know how to read.
- 0:41>> Name 10 books.
- 0:43>> Are you serious?
- 0:44>> Yes, 100%. Name 10 books. Yet somehow
- 0:46people are still either arrogant or
- 0:48stupid enough to get in front of a
- 0:50camera with him and assume that they
- 0:51aren't going to come out embarrassed or
- 0:53just straight up angry about how it all
- 0:56plays out. Do you think your family
- 0:57would be relieved if you told them this
- 0:59whole thing was just a prank and you
- 1:00didn't actually believe you were a
- 1:02raccoon?
- 1:02>> If I told them it was a prank, they'd
- 1:04probably be like, "Well, you invested a
- 1:05lot of time into that prank."
- 1:07>> Like thank the Lord [laughter] Jesus.
- 1:10>> It's your boy Louisa and these are the
- 1:12many victims of Maton Evan. After his
- 1:14initial appearances as a 12-year-old,
- 1:16where he protested in support of Hong
- 1:19Kong's democracy movement, Maton
- 1:21realized the power of a publicity stunt.
- 1:23But instead of fighting for a cause, he
- 1:25turned himself into one of the biggest
- 1:27pranksters around. One incident that
- 1:29helped to create this reputation was
- 1:31when he made a big splash at the 2022
- 1:33Game Awards. Baton bought a regular
- 1:35ticket to the show at the Microsoft
- 1:37Theater in LA. But he had no intentions
- 1:40of simply watching from the sidelines.
- 1:42Once the development team of Elden Ring
- 1:44took the stage, Evan decided to show
- 1:46just how terrible security at the event
- 1:48was by rocking up in front of the crowd
- 1:50and adding his own contribution to their
- 1:53acceptance speech. [music]
- 1:54>> And we create the games we want to
- 1:56create and do our best because of you.
- 1:59Um, thank you so much.
- 2:02I think if if God of War Ragnarok came
- 2:05out just a few months earlier, it would
- 2:07have a bigger chance.
- 2:09>> You know, real quick, I want to thank
- 2:11everybody and say that I think I want to
- 2:14nominate this award to my reformed
- 2:17Orthodox Rabbi, Bill Clinton. Thank you
- 2:19everybody.
- 2:20>> Uh,
- 2:23who was that guy?
- 2:28>> All right. [laughter]
- 2:29>> Who was that guy? The whole thing got
- 2:31him detained by the cops for a
- 2:33theatrical exhibition, but the publicity
- 2:35was priceless because once again, the
- 2:37young kid had shocked the entire world
- 2:39with his absurdest stunts. Honestly, the
- 2:42fact that he just respectfully stood up
- 2:43there with the dev team for the entire
- 2:45presentation and giving applause is
- 2:48funnier than the speech itself. Speaking
- 2:50to Polygon after it went down, Maton
- 2:53played into the weirdness of his
- 2:54comments, telling them that I thought
- 2:56there was an extremely high chance that
- 2:58Bill Clinton himself would get a
- 2:59personal invite. He would be sitting in
- 3:01the front row, maybe be nominated for at
- 3:03least as many awards as there are. And
- 3:06the fact that he was not even nominated,
- 3:08not won any of them, I was completely
- 3:10devastated. Plenty of people who pull
- 3:12off little stunts like this disappear as
- 3:14fast [music] as they come, unable to
- 3:16capitalize on their 15 minutes of fame.
- 3:18Instead, Matan made himself into an
- 3:20online phenomenon by simply appearing
- 3:23everywhere as if he was some mystic time
- 3:25traveler. If you're looking to increase
- 3:27your profile, then one of the best ways
- 3:29to do it is to get yourself in the orbit
- 3:30of the world's biggest streamers. And
- 3:32for a little while, Matan basically made
- 3:34a career out of boosting his own profile
- 3:36by ambushing some of the most popular
- 3:38creators when they least expected it.
- 3:40Among the people who suffered this
- 3:41firsthand was Kaisen. During a stream
- 3:43with XQC at Universal, I got very
- 3:46clearly pressed by his presence and
- 3:48immediately ensured that security knew
- 3:50he wasn't supposed to be there.
- 3:53>> Yeah. Yeah.
- 3:55>> Yo, I thought I seen him before. How you
- 3:57doing?
- 3:58>> What the hell?
- 3:59>> What's going on?
- 4:00>> You're the most random person.
- 4:02>> You're not with us. You're not with us,
- 4:03but I've definitely seen you before.
- 4:04>> How you doing today?
- 4:05>> I'm doing good. You know what I'm
- 4:06saying?
- 4:10>> Can I get a quick photo? Yeah. Quick
- 4:11quick.
- 4:13Whoa. Stop doing that. Just a quick
- 4:16>> Stop doing that, bro. I just told you to
- 4:17quit.
- 4:17>> I'm trying to be low. Stop doing that.
- 4:21>> Keep doing that, bro. Like, you're not
- 4:22low.
- 4:24>> Come on. Be mad. ANNOYING. HE DISGUISED
- 4:26himself to try to blend in. Like,
- 4:28>> even though Kai let it be known that he
- 4:29was shook over it, the incident didn't
- 4:31stop Matan's legend from growing online.
- 4:34Kai having to say, "You're not with us."
- 4:36Because bro [music] just blends in with
- 4:37the crowd like he's from Assassin's
- 4:39Creed. Another streamer who learned that
- 4:41you're never safe from Maton Evan in
- 4:43your more low-key moments was I chose
- 4:45Speed. [music] During a trip to a fast
- 4:46food place with some of his boys, Speed
- 4:49was caught off guard by the sudden
- 4:50arrival of Maton, [music] who trolled
- 4:52him by gifting the famed Ronaldo fan a
- 4:54Leono Messi jersey. And as he left, it
- 4:57looked like things were pretty heated.
- 4:59>> Thank you.
- 5:00>> Hey, man. How you doing? What's going
- 5:03on? I brought you like a nice kit from
- 5:04your your favorite guy. It's signed by
- 5:06all of the players. You can have a good
- 5:08time with this.
- 5:09>> All right, bro.
- 5:10>> It's signed by the best. He's right over
- 5:12here on the bottom. [music]
- 5:15Is
- 5:15>> that what?
- 5:16>> No, it's messy on there.
- 5:20>> All right, bro.
- 5:24>> Who the This weird ass man justing gave
- 5:28me a messy shirt.
- 5:30>> The hurt your ass song. Oh, hell no.
- 5:33Once again, the whole exchange had
- 5:35audiences cracking up about his unique
- 5:37ability to freak out everyone that
- 5:39encounters him. Bro met Acceleration.
- 5:41Bro was hella confused. By this stage,
- 5:43there was no one quite as prolific as
- 5:45appearing on these high-profile
- 5:46platforms without being invited as
- 5:48Matan. And yet, they just couldn't find
- 5:50any way of stopping him from doing just
- 5:52that. During one of Neon's streams,
- 5:54Matan appeared to insist that the
- 5:55polarizing creator was being exploited
- 5:57by his girlfriend Sam Frank [music] for
- 5:59his cash. What you doing?
- 6:02>> What's up?
- 6:06>> Oh, it's thiser.
- 6:08>> Listen, I want to tell you something.
- 6:09>> Oh my god.
- 6:10>> I want to tell you something. Listen.
- 6:13>> Listen. Honestly, I think that Sam girl,
- 6:15I think she really loves you, man.
- 6:16>> Oh, thank you, bro.
- 6:17>> Not
- 6:19>> even someone like Hassan [ __ ] wasn't
- 6:21safe from the mental torture of having
- 6:23to deal with Maton. While the left-wing
- 6:25content creator appeared at a protest on
- 6:27behalf of the writer's Guild of America
- 6:29strike, the teenager that no one likes
- 6:31to see coming appeared and made his
- 6:33presence felt. What's going on? How you
- 6:35guys doing? We love landlords. We're all
- 6:37against unions. We're here to protest
- 6:39against the landlords and the unions.
- 6:41We're all against unions. They're not
- 6:42fair to the corporate companies. This is
- 6:45a crazy protest.
- 6:46>> Realistically, Hassan should have known
- 6:48better than let it get to him. But
- 6:49instead, he really took the bait and let
- 6:51it be known that he was angry about it.
- 6:53more you do that and the more you end up
- 6:56hurting
- 6:56>> you end up hurting
- 6:57>> the more you end up hurting capital
- 6:59>> hurting the capital
- 7:00>> the quicker the strike will end
- 7:01>> the strike will
- 7:02>> this little fetus brolord
- 7:05>> we love landlords
- 7:07>> we love them we love landlords
- 7:09>> you want to move uh move away a little
- 7:11bit
- 7:12>> we love landlords
- 7:13>> no we like union I mean we hate you we
- 7:16love landlords
- 7:17>> yeah yeah we're leaving I'm just waiting
- 7:19for
- 7:20>> what's
- 7:22No, no, no, no, no. They're they're here
- 7:25to Yeah, they're trolling.
- 7:26>> I'm not interested. I don't like to show
- 7:29people that are very desperate for
- 7:30attention and clout, especially for the
- 7:32game.
- 7:32>> Yes, 100%.
- 7:33>> For you specifically?
- 7:34>> Yes. Um, that's why we're leaving right
- 7:36now. They'll shut the up and leave.
- 7:38They're kids.
- 7:39>> Bro looked like he wanted to put a shot
- 7:40collar on Maton and teach him some
- 7:42manners. Although streamers regularly
- 7:44wound up in his crosshairs, he didn't
- 7:46exclusively target them. Really, it's
- 7:48just anyone who's famous and happens to
- 7:50have the misfortune to be around him
- 7:52because even athletes are not safe from
- 7:54his wrath either. This included
- 7:55three-time NBA champion Javale McGee,
- 7:58who found out firsthand just how
- 8:00relentless Matan could be when he wants
- 8:02to get your attention.
- 8:03>> What's the dude here who think I don't
- 8:05know what he do on the internet and
- 8:06[ __ ] I don't know what he trying to do.
- 8:08He's on some weird [ __ ] We grown men
- 8:11around here. We grew up before this
- 8:12social media age [ __ ] You know what I'm
- 8:14saying? This [ __ ] don't faze us. We
- 8:15didn't had real We didn't had real one
- 8:17step to us and we really had to put [ __ ]
- 8:19down. You know what I'm saying?
- 8:21>> It's cool. Look, he's
- 8:24>> gonna be on one of podcast or something.
- 8:25>> I'm like a [ __ ] paparazzi.
- 8:27>> Some of y'all see it.
- 8:28>> Can you look to the right? I'm trying to
- 8:30get like a face scan.
- 8:31>> Just know.
- 8:31>> By maneuvering his way into all these
- 8:33random interactions with famous people,
- 8:35Baton had built a name for himself that
- 8:37ensured people tuned in whenever he
- 8:39popped up. But that's not exactly
- 8:41monetizable. So, the next step was a
- 8:43platform of his own. And that's when he
- 8:45decided to launch his podcast. Since
- 8:47first going live in 2023, Matan's show
- 8:50has basically given him a free pass to
- 8:51get notable people into a room and
- 8:54antagonize them however he sees fit.
- 8:56Flanked by his co-hosts Mike and his
- 8:58manager, Viral Flooring, Maton has made
- 9:01an art out of making excellent oneliners
- 9:03at the expense of his guests egos. You
- 9:05often claim that you could beat UFC
- 9:07fighters because you weigh 260 lb. If I
- 9:10gained 100 lb, do you think I'd become
- 9:12that stupid, too?
- 9:14>> [laughter]
- 9:15>> But not everyone takes it as well as
- 9:16Bradley Martin did, leading to some
- 9:18truly wild moments where it looks like
- 9:20it could explode. Someone who suffered
- 9:22this firsthand was none other than Fly
- 9:24Soulja of the Island Boys. By the looks
- 9:26of it, he hadn't done much research on
- 9:28what to expect as his historic clout
- 9:30chasing incident that was kissing his
- 9:32own brother was naturally brought up.
- 9:34And Fly Soldier really didn't like it.
- 9:37Sue into Florida statute section A26.04,
- 9:4004. Kissing your brother would warrant
- 9:42criminal charges. Why haven't the
- 9:44Florida authorities taken this seriously
- 9:46and seized you and your boyfriend? I
- 9:48mean your brother. I mean your brother
- 9:49who's also your boyfriend.
- 9:51>> My brother's not my boyfriend. You [ __ ]
- 9:53face. And go back and you said what's
- 9:56illegal?
- 9:57>> Pursuant to Florida statute section
- 9:59826.04.
- 10:00Kissing your brother would warrant
- 10:02criminal charges. Why haven't the
- 10:04Florida authorities taken this?
- 10:05>> This is not a act and my religion is
- 10:07Muslim.
- 10:08>> Your religion is Muslim? Yeah, you
- 10:10little [ __ ] What does that have to do
- 10:11with kissing your brother? I don't think
- 10:12that's something Muslims do.
- 10:14>> Once Matan knows he has someone rattled,
- 10:16then he's obviously going to hone in on
- 10:18it. And that's exactly what he did with
- 10:19the island boy. And as he continued to
- 10:22pick him apart, things got increasingly
- 10:24heated.
- 10:24>> What an what an interesting grift to
- 10:26claim your Muslim so you can kiss your
- 10:28brother.
- 10:30>> If by the way,
- 10:30>> you want to get punched?
- 10:32>> You're I'm not scared that you're going
- 10:33to punch me, but hold on,
- 10:35>> dude. I'll make your face on that wall
- 10:36right now. Fair to say you're one of the
- 10:39more disgusting people in the world?
- 10:42>> Maybe.
- 10:42>> I would say that it's pretty disgusting
- 10:43to pretend to suck your brother's.
- 10:45>> Yeah, it is.
- 10:46>> So, why'd you do that? Or will you
- 10:48escalate and have real with your
- 10:50brother?
- 10:50>> No.
- 10:52>> Why?
- 10:53>> I'm good.
- 10:56>> I can't hear you. You have your food
- 10:58stuffed with a bunch of You have your
- 10:59mouth stuffed with a bunch of food.
- 11:01>> I'm good. No more.
- 11:03>> No more food.
- 11:04>> No. Although everyone knows by now that
- 11:06they're pretty soft, it didn't stop Fly
- 11:08Soulja from threatening to get physical.
- 11:10But it was obvious that Maton wasn't
- 11:12concerned about it in the slightest and
- 11:14was just thinking about the views this
- 11:16ridiculous interaction would yield. In
- 11:18is what you're known for now.
- 11:21>> I'm I'm known for in but I still have
- 11:23more followers than you on every
- 11:25platform.
- 11:25>> I would rather not have to do in to have
- 11:28followers on Instagram.
- 11:29>> I had more followers than you before I
- 11:30did the in. So [snorts] then why'd you
- 11:32do it? To get even more followers.
- 11:33>> Cuz I got greedy.
- 11:35>> Yeah, I think that's what differentiates
- 11:36us. And probably actually, no, that's
- 11:38what differentiates you and your brother
- 11:40from everybody else in the world.
- 11:42>> How did that conversation go with him
- 11:44initially? You were like, should we
- 11:45should kiss each other? I mean, how did
- 11:46you convince him to do that or did he is
- 11:48he the one who came up with the idea?
- 11:50>> Listen, is that the only thing you could
- 11:53talk about? Like did you sit there and
- 11:54off to it?
- 11:56>> No, I didn't. After withstanding more
- 11:58and more jokes about his weird behavior
- 12:00with his sibling for money, Fly Soulja
- 12:02was obviously ready to snap. Before the
- 12:04show ended, things got a little physical
- 12:06only for Maton to essentially son a dude
- 12:09that's so much older than him in a way
- 12:11that there's just no coming back from.
- 12:13You're just misunderstanding how a
- 12:15question this show is going to go the
- 12:16way I want to go.
- 12:19>> I mean, anybody can choose to not answer
- 12:21a question.
- 12:26>> [snorts]
- 12:33>> Stop.
- 12:34>> You better relax. Stop.
- 12:35>> I caught your punch. You better relax.
- 12:37>> I'm not cuz I'm not trying to punch for
- 12:38real. Stop.
- 12:38>> You Well, I caught it.
- 12:40>> Look. No, I'm not I'm not trying to
- 12:41punch you. I'm not trying to punch you.
- 12:43>> Okay, back up, guys. Get the [ __ ] out.
- 12:45Back up. Back up. Back up. Back up. Back
- 12:48up. Get the [ __ ] out. Chill. Get the
- 12:49[ __ ] out.
- 12:53You're a little more of a [ __ ] than you
- 12:55thought, huh?
- 12:55>> So guys, they want to jump me if if if
- 12:57anything happens. I'm sorry, but you're
- 13:00not going to do [ __ ] You're not going
- 13:01to do [ __ ] and you're not going to do
- 13:02[ __ ]
- 13:03>> Generally, it's internet celebrities
- 13:05like that whom Maton targets. Not only
- 13:07because it's easy for someone with that
- 13:09kind of trolling ability he possesses,
- 13:11but it's always going to go viral.
- 13:13However, this isn't exclusively the
- 13:15case. as there is one other group that
- 13:17he seems intent on roasting whenever he
- 13:20gets the chance and that is rabbis.
- 13:22Apparently, Matan comes from a Jewish
- 13:24family and may even have some family in
- 13:27Israel. But even if that is the case, it
- 13:29certainly hasn't stopped him from
- 13:31bringing those of the religion onto his
- 13:33podcast purely for the purposes of
- 13:35infuriating them.
- 13:36>> Do we do we have time to put money in
- 13:38the meter?
- 13:39>> Always about money.
- 13:41>> You're definitely Jewish. [laughter]
- 13:43>> No doubt about it. How does somebody
- 13:46become a rabbi? I heard you have to get
- 13:49bitten by a raccoon.
- 13:50>> Um, that's how you get rabies. I think
- 13:52you confuse the word.
- 13:54>> Aren't those two guys similar?
- 13:55>> Rabies and rabbis.
- 13:56>> Yeah.
- 13:57>> I think that maybe it's your accent that
- 13:59confused that.
- 13:59>> No.
- 14:00>> But all of this was just training for
- 14:01his real showdown with the controversial
- 14:03Rabbi Ms. Rocky. After somehow
- 14:05convincing him to appear on the show,
- 14:08Baton tried to troll him from the outset
- 14:10by putting a clearly not kosher Burger
- 14:12King right in front of him.
- 14:13>> No problem. Remember, I got to tell you
- 14:15something. When you make fun, when you
- 14:17commit sins, it's also multiply your
- 14:20punishment.
- 14:21>> Okay?
- 14:21>> So, you don't you think now that you're
- 14:23joking and you're happy, you're going to
- 14:25pay for it.
- 14:26>> And while the rabbi tried to discuss his
- 14:28theological views, Baton really went for
- 14:30his neck.
- 14:31>> Do you think there is any man in the
- 14:33world who has contributed more to
- 14:36anti-semitism than you?
- 14:39[laughter]
- 14:39>> Probably you.
- 14:40>> Not even close. As much as I try, I
- 14:43could never get on this man's level.
- 14:45>> Listen, anti-semitism started thousands
- 14:48of years before I was born and will
- 14:50remain many years after I would leave
- 14:52the world.
- 14:53>> You're the poster boy. You're like
- 14:54LeBron.
- 14:55>> Tell me one thing I said I'll make
- 14:56someone into
- 14:58is worshiping a false such I'm telling
- 15:01you a fact.
- 15:02>> And Matan opted to discuss some of Ms.
- 15:04Miss Rocky's more infamous statements,
- 15:06pulling receipts whenever he tried to
- 15:08weasle out of it. You keep saying this
- 15:10thing about righteous Gentiles. Do you
- 15:12even believe these exist?
- 15:13>> Absolutely.
- 15:14>> Because here's an interesting clip I
- 15:15think we should go over.
- 15:16>> Between Chinese, Hindus, Buddhist, and
- 15:19Christian, at least six 6 and 12 billion
- 15:22people are idol worshippers. That
- 15:24according to the Torah do not have the
- 15:27right to live.
- 15:28>> Naturally, talk turned to both Israeli
- 15:30Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and
- 15:32the ongoing side in Palestine. Once
- 15:34again, Matan was ready for what was to
- 15:36come, catching him off guard with facts
- 15:38and witty put downs that showed the
- 15:40hypocrisy and what he was saying.
- 15:42>> Netanyahu as a leader of a country is
- 15:45trying to avoid missiles on innocent
- 15:47civilians.
- 15:48>> But that's the last thing he's
- 15:49concerned. [clears throat] That's his
- 15:50concern is doing missiles on innocent
- 15:52people.
- 15:52>> For instance, Muslims, if you're
- 15:54terrorists and you're a murderer and you
- 15:55want to kill children and women, that's
- 15:57a different kind of a scene.
- 15:58>> Is that all Muslims to you?
- 16:00>> Not all Muslims. I
- 16:01>> So why even mention that? not asking you
- 16:03about terrorists who want to kill women
- 16:04and children. We haven't got to Israel
- 16:06yet.
- 16:06>> You can guess that after being
- 16:07embarrassed by a kid, Ms. Rocky hasn't
- 16:10been a recurring guest on the show.
- 16:12Instead, Matan revealed that he really
- 16:14left an impression on the rabbi and was
- 16:16clearly pleased with himself over it.
- 16:18>> Okay. Well, regardless, this rabbi told
- 16:19me that I'm the most wicked man in the
- 16:21world, basically. And I'm also He was
- 16:24serious.
- 16:24>> He was serious.
- 16:25>> He was serious.
- 16:26>> Did he know like you do a bit?
- 16:28>> Well, that's that's part of it that he
- 16:31thinks I'm doing a bit. I'm not. But he
- 16:32thinks I'm doing a bit. He thinks I'm
- 16:34mocking him
- 16:36>> like on the show or off camera too.
- 16:39>> I didn't really interact with him that
- 16:41much off camera to be honest with you.
- 16:42>> Although not said in those exact words,
- 16:44this was basically confirmed by Ms.
- 16:46Rocky himself in a live stream where he
- 16:48let it be known how little respect he
- 16:50had for Maton.
- 16:51>> Just watch the last two debates that I
- 16:53had with these two people. One Muslim,
- 16:56became Muslim, and the other one is a
- 16:59serious clown.
- 17:01I'm sad and embarrassed to say that he's
- 17:03a Jew. If he is a Jew, at least that's
- 17:06what people say. He of course is not
- 17:08proud to be a Jew. When I see the level
- 17:12of this people and thinking to myself,
- 17:15how is it possible in the lowest level
- 17:17of humanity have millions of followers?
- 17:21I said, you know, you can enjoy the
- 17:22Bergen or Bur over here because soon,
- 17:24very soon, you're going to pay for it.
- 17:26In hell, you're going to have to pay for
- 17:28what you do. And when you make fun and
- 17:30you laugh, you're only increasing your
- 17:33punishment. But usually when you say to
- 17:36a person that have a brain, he loses
- 17:40desire to eat the non-coosher food
- 17:42because he's thinking, "What if this
- 17:44rabbi is right?"
- 17:45>> By this stage, it should be pretty
- 17:46obvious that Matan will take on anyone
- 17:48in a debate. And when he's not bothering
- 17:50religious leaders, he has no issues
- 17:52fighting with of girls. And because of
- 17:54his ruthless style of interviewing, he
- 17:56has proven himself capable of getting
- 17:58them to react when they usually
- 18:00wouldn't. After early debates with OF
- 18:02girls proved that he could be a savage
- 18:04with them, it's a miracle that anyone in
- 18:06that profession would come on his show,
- 18:08particularly after he wasn't exactly
- 18:10nice to Lily Phillips.
- 18:13>> You keeping a table from me? [music]
- 18:15>> Yeah, I think you're disgusting and I
- 18:16just want to make sure that I keep my
- 18:18distance from you.
- 18:19>> Don't want to catch the comedia. Hey,
- 18:20>> I mean, I'm sure that's not surprising
- 18:22to hear. No, no. I get that a lot.
- 18:24>> But if you thought that was pretty mean,
- 18:26he took much more extreme measures with
- 18:28her rival, Bonnie Blue. During her rise
- 18:30to fame, Bonnie has usually seemed
- 18:32unfazed when trolled by people over her
- 18:34decisions, to the point that people have
- 18:36wondered what was wrong with her. I've
- 18:38>> heard people call you a psychopath
- 18:39>> many times.
- 18:40>> And that's probably because people don't
- 18:41see you laugh much that, you know, when
- 18:43I'm normally um abusing women in the
- 18:45street, I shout, "Oh, cheer up, love.
- 18:47Might never happen." But with you, it's
- 18:49almost like, "Come on, love. Look a bit
- 18:50more sad. It's always happening.
- 18:52>> [laughter]
- 18:53>> It's happening all the time.
- 18:56>> Yeah.
- 18:57>> So, it's fair to say that getting under
- 18:58her skin would take a real expert. And
- 19:01that is certainly what Maton is.
- 19:02>> Introduce yourself, please, in case
- 19:04anybody doesn't know you.
- 19:05>> Okay, no problem. I am the girl that sat
- 19:07with 157 men in just 12 hours. And I
- 19:10take anyone from to barely breathing.
- 19:14>> Okay, so essentially what she's trying
- 19:16to say, she's a disgusting. He then
- 19:19asked her some hypotheticals that very
- 19:21obviously made her angry, even if she
- 19:23tried her best to downplay the rage that
- 19:25was just underneath the surface. What do
- 19:27you think will be the average lifespan
- 19:29of your children? 12, 13 years old?
- 19:32>> No, a lot older. I think they're going
- 19:33to live a very happy, long life. If I
- 19:35have children, they'll be able to get
- 19:36good health care. [music] And what more
- 19:38can you ask for?
- 19:39>> But healthcare won't solve a broken neck
- 19:41from hanging yourself or a shotgun to
- 19:44the face.
- 19:44>> For sure. Uh, that's not to say my
- 19:46children aren't going to be happy or
- 19:47they're not going to support my career.
- 19:49>> When that wasn't enough, he took pot
- 19:50shots out of her appearance, leading
- 19:52that usually cool demeanor of hers to
- 19:54begin to crack.
- 19:56>> You look like you're 40 or 50, but
- 19:57you're actually 26. Wow. Did you know
- 20:00that?
- 20:00>> Yeah, I see that comment a lot.
- 20:02>> I'm making my own personal observation.
- 20:04I'm sure other people have said it
- 20:05because it's a little obvious. What I
- 20:07mean, did you know that?
- 20:08>> I've just said yes.
- 20:09>> Do you agree with that?
- 20:10>> No, I don't.
- 20:11>> So, how old do you think you look? 55,
- 20:1360? No. 26.
- 20:14>> You think you look 26?
- 20:16>> Yeah.
- 20:16>> You think that if a person wasn't
- 20:18familiar with you and they looked at
- 20:19you, they would think that you look 26
- 20:21years old.
- 20:21>> I'm in good shape. I've got good hair,
- 20:23good skin.
- 20:24>> And by the end of the interview, Maton
- 20:26had her on the ropes, leading Bonnie to
- 20:28get really aggravated and defensive in a
- 20:30way that we're not used to seeing.
- 20:32>> Are you funded by Apac?
- 20:33>> No, I don't know what that is.
- 20:35>> The American Israel Public Affairs
- 20:37Committee.
- 20:37>> No,
- 20:38>> you're not funded by them.
- 20:39>> No.
- 20:39>> I've heard some rumors.
- 20:41>> Okay. Well, I don't even know what it
- 20:42is. So, told you what it is. Or you
- 20:44pretending not to know. Is that your
- 20:45tactic here to get out of that question?
- 20:47>> No, I generally don't have much
- 20:48knowledge about the world or what's
- 20:49going [music] on to be honest.
- 20:50>> But I think you're lying here. You seem
- 20:52very defensive about it.
- 20:54>> I'm not. You just don't really listen to
- 20:55anything I [music] say, so it gets
- 20:56boring answering your questions.
- 20:57>> Well, I'm hard of hearing a little bit
- 20:58because I've put a screen here to block
- 21:00me from you.
- 21:01>> Yeah. I mean, I thought the [music]
- 21:02sound would travel over and through the
- 21:03side, but okay, maybe sound doesn't work
- 21:05that way.
- 21:06>> No, it doesn't. You're not a scientist.
- 21:07Remember that. You're a
- 21:09>> Mhm.
- 21:09>> The end result of the whole thing was a
- 21:11master class in humiliation. one that
- 21:13people were surprised that Bonnie
- 21:14endured for almost 40 minutes by the
- 21:16time that it was all said and done. But
- 21:18she's far from the only person to feel
- 21:20that uncomfortable in Maton's presence.
- 21:22Unlike Bonnie Blue, Clavicular is a
- 21:25notoriously sensitive individual who's
- 21:27not known for his sense of humor.
- 21:29>> No offense, but you're sitting there
- 21:30gesture gooning like a subhuman beta.
- 21:33You I'm out here oramaxing like an S
- 21:37tier gighat. [laughter]
- 21:39speaking in English,
- 21:43>> dude. [ __ ] millennials are such
- 21:46[ __ ]
- 21:48because they have no they have no
- 21:50culture of their own. Really?
- 21:51Millennials are soing gay.
- 21:53>> So, the fact that someone who takes
- 21:54himself that seriously agreed to appear
- 21:57on Matan's show in the first place seems
- 21:59like a serious oversight. Straight away,
- 22:01Matan began his interrogation in his
- 22:03signature style, finding holes in the
- 22:05intentions of the looks maxing
- 22:07philosophy. Who do you think is the most
- 22:09attractive man in the world?
- 22:10>> Matt Balmer scores the highest. I think
- 22:12he's
- 22:13>> Is this a little gay?
- 22:14>> But it's all based on mathematics. So
- 22:16it's not like a attractive
- 22:17>> Who do you think is the most attractive
- 22:19man in the world?
- 22:20>> Yeah, when you say it when you phrase it
- 22:21like that. Uh it it does sound a little
- 22:24bit homosexual.
- 22:24>> This is homosexual on your end. No,
- 22:27>> not necessarily. No.
- 22:28>> Can you give me your top five most
- 22:29attractive men that you like?
- 22:31>> Um well, you see your phrasing is a
- 22:33little bit Can you give me the top five
- 22:35men that you're most attracted to?
- 22:36>> Okay, there we go. This is what
- 22:37Clvicular's whole existence revolves
- 22:39around. So when Matan kept finding
- 22:42angles to make fun of it, he got
- 22:43increasingly angry.
- 22:45>> First glance, like when we lay out all
- 22:46this new information, it kind of like
- 22:47mind pucks people. I could see that's
- 22:49happening to you a little bit. Like you
- 22:50don't really understand.
- 22:51>> I understand the entire concept. I get
- 22:53the whole thing.
- 22:54>> It just doesn't seem like it. It seems
- 22:55like you're saying one thing, but
- 22:56you're, you know, articulating another.
- 22:58>> Okay, I'll articulate it and explain it.
- 23:00And
- 23:00>> there are there are certain traits that
- 23:02will make somebody objective.
- 23:03>> I think I think you just you don't get
- 23:05it. So let's just move on to the next.
- 23:06There are certain traits that will make
- 23:07somebody objectively good-looking,
- 23:09>> right? So, someone could be
- 23:10>> But because of that, you're attracted to
- 23:12them.
- 23:12>> No, no, that's not how it works.
- 23:13>> Not I'm not attracted to them cuz the
- 23:15traits are objectively good looking.
- 23:16>> But someone could be someone No. So,
- 23:18you're So, do you want to just tell me
- 23:19what I am for the rest of the podcast?
- 23:21You want to tell me that I'm attracted
- 23:22to someone?
- 23:23>> I was just gathering from the hints you
- 23:24were giving. It's like that's what it
- 23:25just seemed like. If you're denying it,
- 23:27then that's fine.
- 23:28>> As the discussion carried on, Lav took
- 23:30to the stage where he was ready to storm
- 23:31off, but just about managed to retain
- 23:34his cool. I don't know if you're trying
- 23:35to like troll or or anything, but I'm
- 23:37trying to be like genuine and like give
- 23:39you an understanding of like looks max
- 23:41and aesthetics, but like if you want to
- 23:43have like middle school level
- 23:44understandings and just make jokes the
- 23:46whole time.
- 23:47>> I'm not joking.
- 23:47>> We can do that, too. Like I
- 23:48>> might be misunderstanding. I I don't
- 23:50know.
- 23:50>> Well, I I love to, you know, [ __ ] around
- 23:52and be But I didn't know if we were
- 23:54doing like a formal thing. Like if you
- 23:55want me to just like sit here and be all
- 23:57like
- 23:58>> No, do whatever do whatever is most
- 23:59natural for you, I would say.
- 24:00>> Yeah. Yeah. I was just trying to, you
- 24:02know, lay it out for your audience. kind
- 24:03of explained a little bit.
- 24:04>> After it was all said and done, the
- 24:06looks maxer discussed his appearance on
- 24:08the stream, insisting the way we see him
- 24:10online isn't convicted to the cameras.
- 24:13And that's really what he's like,
- 24:15>> guys. That's the thing about Matan is he
- 24:16doesn't actually like that's not really
- 24:18his character. Like he's always kind of
- 24:20like that way off camera. He's not
- 24:21really like an act that much. Maybe it's
- 24:25exaggerated, but like the way he talks
- 24:26is like very consistent. There's really
- 24:29no length that Maton won't go to in
- 24:31order to get a reaction out of his
- 24:33target. [music]
- 24:34Even if he's not the host of the show
- 24:36and is just a guest, then the mission
- 24:38remains the same. Just ask Steiny. Matan
- 24:40has appeared on his podcast on two
- 24:42separate occasions, leading the comments
- 24:44to be flooded with fans who say they're
- 24:45only there to see him and wouldn't
- 24:47usually be caught dead watching a Steiny
- 24:49video. All in all, they probably thought
- 24:51it was worth it just to watch the way
- 24:53Maton made him squirm. During a joint
- 24:55podcast with Steiny, Ryan Garcia, and
- 24:57Maton, a conversation about a major
- 25:00conspiracy theory gave Evan every
- 25:02opportunity to troll the wildly disliked
- 25:04Nekboy about his powerful family ties.
- 25:07And rather than take it and laugh, it
- 25:09was pretty obvious that it really
- 25:10annoyed him.
- 25:11>> Is that what pizza gate is? Or when
- 25:13people make pizza, that's what that
- 25:14refers to?
- 25:15>> Yeah. Yeah. They have they were calling
- 25:17something beef jerky. In the files, they
- 25:19often refer to I I want 6 to 8 ounces of
- 25:23beef jerky, but I need it in a freeze.
- 25:26Like, did you see one of the owners?
- 25:27>> They need to take it to the lab. Like,
- 25:29who takes beef jerky to the lab? That
- 25:31don't make
- 25:31>> Did you see one of the owners of the
- 25:32pizza place got leaked?
- 25:34>> I think so.
- 25:34>> Harvey Steinberg.
- 25:36>> Who the
- 25:37>> It's my dad. I mean, this is like
- 25:38>> Oh my god.
- 25:39>> I'm telling you, it's
- 25:40>> You're saying some really crazy things
- 25:42about
- 25:43>> You know where you're at? That's my
- 25:44house, bro.
- 25:45>> Yeah, I know. I'm just saying like you
- 25:46have him here and he's talking about all
- 25:48of this stuff. It just seems strange
- 25:49because he's like looking at the enemy
- 25:50right in the eye while he says it.
- 25:52>> No, I have nothing to do with that. I
- 25:53agree with what Ryan just said.
- 25:55>> I don't know why the hell I invited you
- 25:56here, but we're already here.
- 25:57>> While Matana often seems strange and
- 26:00different to the masses, [music]
- 26:01it's good to know that one thing he has
- 26:03in common with the masses is how little
- 26:05respect he has for Steiny. Because every
- 26:07time they're on the same show, he will
- 26:09go out of his way to cook him. Has Jake
- 26:11Paul's father, Greg Paul, ever ordered
- 26:13pizza at your Domino's establishment?
- 26:15>> I wouldn't know. Honestly, I didn't even
- 26:17know who uh Jake Paul's father name was
- 26:18till now. Honestly,
- 26:19>> Greg Paul.
- 26:20>> There has been some people who walked
- 26:21in. I was just kind of like, "Oh,
- 26:22>> did you met some famous people?
- 26:24>> Some famous people come in there.
- 26:25>> He's the most famous."
- 26:26>> If you're familiar with Shoreline Mafia,
- 26:28Phoenix Flex, I met a couple guys there.
- 26:29>> See, they eat Domino's pizza, too.
- 26:31>> Why would Steiny rank among them?
- 26:33>> Forgive me, but I I've just he
- 26:35>> doesn't have a [ __ ] clue who you are.
- 26:37>> It's all good. Yeah, that's fine. No
- 26:38matter what you may be insecure about or
- 26:40whatever you're trying to avoid talking
- 26:42about, that's exactly what Matan will
- 26:44focus on. Across many episodes, Matan
- 26:46has made it clear that jokes about
- 26:48someone's appearance are all good with
- 26:49him. Like when he tortured Cuff with
- 26:51plenty of comments along those lines
- 26:53that clearly got under his skin.
- 26:55>> What is the expected lifespan for
- 26:57whatever you are?
- 26:58>> I think I'm going to live until I'm like
- 26:5993.
- 27:00>> No.
- 27:01>> What?
- 27:01>> No way.
- 27:02>> What you mean? All I do is smoke weed,
- 27:04that's all. And what?
- 27:07>> Dude, I'm losing weight, bro. I was
- 27:09bigger than this, you know.
- 27:10>> And also, that wasn't even a fat joke.
- 27:11It's for whatever you are. In the end,
- 27:13this was nothing compared to what
- 27:14awaited Dave Blunts when he waddled on
- 27:17set. It's unclear what he thought the
- 27:19conversation was going to be. But anyone
- 27:21who was familiar with Matan's content
- 27:23should have known that there was going
- 27:24to be plenty of jokes about his
- 27:26unhealthy physique.
- 27:27>> Yeah, I've been to New York a couple
- 27:29times.
- 27:29>> Do you think you could initiate a
- 27:31ceasefire between Israel and Gaza by
- 27:33standing in the middle? That's pretty
- 27:34good. Um, one can only hope. One can
- 27:37only hope that uh anybody or anything
- 27:39would be able to cause a ceasefire.
- 27:42>> Well, I guess they could still shoot
- 27:43rockets over you, but maybe if they like
- 27:45they might. I don't know. Did you ever
- 27:47play hide and seek?
- 27:48>> Yeah, as a kid. Yeah.
- 27:49>> I mean, how did that go? How the do you
- 27:52get on a plane?
- 27:53>> Uh, I usually get two seats.
- 27:55>> Two. But that like I'm not trying to be
- 27:57an [ __ ] or sound like
- 27:58>> a douchebag, but like do you fit in the
- 28:00airplane door?
- 28:01>> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I've been on the plane
- 28:03numerous times.
- 28:04>> Do you go first class or something or
- 28:05you you need actually the row?
- 28:07>> I don't know. It's been a minute since I
- 28:08fly. I don't fly anymore, but
- 28:10>> you just do like drive if you have to
- 28:12get somewhere.
- 28:12>> Yeah. Yeah. I don't I haven't done it
- 28:13since I've gained notoriety, fame you
- 28:16want to call it, or whatever.
- 28:18>> In the end, Dave took the jokes without
- 28:20getting in his feelings about it. And in
- 28:21the history of Matan's show, that really
- 28:24hasn't always been the case. A duo that
- 28:26is really incapable of dealing with what
- 28:28Matan was putting out there was Dean the
- 28:30Gray and Adrien Broner. When Dean first
- 28:32appeared on the show, Matan led with
- 28:34Jibes about his guests small stature.
- 28:37>> Usually the black people who are Muslim,
- 28:39I don't know if their IQ or higher than
- 28:40the blacks who are not Muslim, but they
- 28:42usually have a more profound thought
- 28:44process. Like they're able to decipher
- 28:46things, ideas, and explain them better.
- 28:48You are at the lowest level. You don't
- 28:50even understand what words mean.
- 28:51>> You don't even understand how to
- 28:52interview. So
- 28:53>> maybe if you get better at that, maybe
- 28:54we we'd see more eye to eye.
- 28:57>> But we wouldn't see eye to eye because
- 28:58you're about 5 in shorter than me.
- 29:00>> I'm not that [ __ ] small,
- 29:01[ __ ] How tall are you?
- 29:02>> Probably like 5'8, 5'9.
- 29:03>> Okay, let's stand up.
- 29:07>> Four, 5 in.
- 29:08>> Why are you trying to insinuate you're
- 29:09as tall as me?
- 29:10>> I'm trying to situate that you was a
- 29:12[ __ ] Once he knew that he had Dean
- 29:13right where he wanted him, he changed
- 29:15course and began making jokes about his
- 29:17recent altercations with Larry Wills and
- 29:19Ticky Gazen where the influencer boxer
- 29:22wound up getting smacked around. What's
- 29:24the point of instigating people to slap
- 29:26you if you're not even going to sue them
- 29:28after? Is your goal to look like a small
- 29:30insulent fool?
- 29:31>> Uh, how I'm going to sue someone for
- 29:33slapping me?
- 29:33>> Because it's assault.
- 29:34>> I'm not no [ __ ] though. If someone slap
- 29:36me, I'm going to get my look back.
- 29:37>> So then why are you trying to get people
- 29:38to slap you if you don't even stand?
- 29:40>> I'm not getting nobody to slap me. Ain't
- 29:40nobody slapping not slap me. Nobody in
- 29:42is going to slap me. Nobody in real life
- 29:44going to slap me.
- 29:45>> I get slapped by people.
- 29:46>> I don't get slapped by under.
- 29:49>> Somehow Maton convinced Dean to go back
- 29:51once more with former boxing world
- 29:53champion Adrien Broner. And this time
- 29:55they were ready for combat.
- 29:56>> You already know it's AB. Always
- 29:58balling.
- 29:59>> Adrian Brody, you're from the Problem
- 30:01Broner. Four time world champion.
- 30:03>> Adrian, the problem Brody,
- 30:04>> stop showing me off. I'll smack the [ __ ]
- 30:06out you. All right.
- 30:07>> Dean, do you want to introduce yourself?
- 30:09>> Hey, why you got me over here by this
- 30:10trash though? Okay.
- 30:11>> To keep you some company.
- 30:13>> Even if Matan acted completely unfased
- 30:15by the physical threat they posed.
- 30:17>> Would it be in the heavyweight division?
- 30:19>> No, probably cruiserweight though.
- 30:21>> But I'm saying tomorrow. No weight
- 30:22cutting. You know,
- 30:23>> probably cruiser weight.
- 30:24>> So, what are you weighing at right now?
- 30:26>> I'm not sure, but I I'm pretty sure I'm
- 30:28I'm I'm about cruiserweight.
- 30:30>> That What is cruiser weight? Like uh you
- 30:31know 180 something like that?
- 30:33>> Yeah.
- 30:33>> I'm like 165. I feel like you're
- 30:35probably like more than
- 30:36>> I never gave a bro. I think you're like
- 30:38maybe a little more than
- 30:39>> I never asked what you weighed, bro.
- 30:41>> Instead of backing down, Maton kept on
- 30:42racking up detention, leading AB and
- 30:45Dean increasingly ready to lose it.
- 30:47>> Would you cheat on your boyfriend if he
- 30:49cheated on you?
- 30:50>> Now, look, you got three strikes. That's
- 30:51one,
- 30:52>> you know. Okay, that's no good.
- 30:53>> No, you got three strikes. That's
- 30:55>> okay. Your girlfriend. Your girlfriend
- 30:56will change it.
- 30:57>> Hey, you know they can't save you.
- 30:58>> I know I know kung fu,
- 31:00>> man. She going to go to sleep. You can't
- 31:01kick. I ain't never seen nobody kick
- 31:03sleep.
- 31:03>> I mean, I'm always up.
- 31:04>> No, you going to sleep. Just move the
- 31:06trash can. Move me. Mike, move the trash
- 31:09can for him. Other mic.
- 31:12>> Dean, what do you think? Who's the
- 31:13greatest boxer of all time?
- 31:14>> You got me in the corner, gang.
- 31:16>> No, you have a mic.
- 31:17>> I don't, bro. What the am I doing in a
- 31:19corner? Like I'm just like some ass that
- 31:21nobody give.
- 31:21>> No, it's cuz this set is smaller than
- 31:23our last one.
- 31:24>> You could have scooted one of them over.
- 31:26>> Do you want to come over here?
- 31:28>> I don't know. But you should have did
- 31:29that, bro.
- 31:30>> We can bring you over. I tried.
- 31:31>> I get the trolling [ __ ] but this
- 31:32disrespectful as
- 31:33>> clearly not down with the shenanigans of
- 31:34the show. AB, let it be known that it
- 31:37could go off at any second.
- 31:38>> Cuz if we crash out, we'll crash out in
- 31:40the
- 31:42>> Get up, [ __ ] You ain't talking anyway.
- 31:45Your ass up.
- 31:46>> Okay. My seat over there by the trash so
- 31:48they don't come out, crash out, and kill
- 31:49us.
- 31:49>> I wanted to slap the [ __ ] out of
- 31:51somebody today. And you look like a
- 31:52candidate. Now, now get the [ __ ] out
- 31:54before I slap you.
- 31:55>> Oh, that's the neighbor. We can't
- 31:57attack. Don't get evicted.
- 31:58>> What? What? How can I control that?
- 32:00>> And then you gave
- 32:01>> You think I know that guy?
- 32:02>> You're not going to be able to control
- 32:03me either. I'm just letting you know,
- 32:05bro. You got a real gangster in your
- 32:06show, gang. All this all that one [ __ ]
- 32:08Stop that, bro.
- 32:09>> I don't know that guy, though. What?
- 32:11What can I do?
- 32:11>> And I'mma slap the [ __ ] out the next
- 32:13that do some dumb [ __ ]
- 32:14>> Eventually, the energy was so off that
- 32:16AB and Co straight up just left.
- 32:19>> Huh?
- 32:22>> That That wasn't offensive. It's a
- 32:24question about his boxing career.
- 32:26>> [ __ ] Halo.
- 32:29Whether or not you're capable to endure
- 32:30what Maton puts you through is a real
- 32:32test of your character. Because if you
- 32:34have any skeletons in your closet, Evan
- 32:36will use them to his advantage. This is
- 32:38something comedian Brian Callen learned
- 32:41firsthand when he appeared on Matan's
- 32:43show at a time where he wasn't exactly
- 32:45killing it in the standup world. For
- 32:47starters, he wound up using some of his
- 32:49own most ridiculous quotes against him.
- 32:52>> By the way, I'm just going to warn you
- 32:53now. Don'ting bully me. I'll show up
- 32:55right to your house.
- 32:56>> I'll show up at youring house. BANG.
- 32:58BANG. BANG, BANG, BANG.
- 32:59>> COME ON. YOU'RE DOING ME on Rogan, DUDE.
- 33:01I KNOW WHAT YOU'REING DOING. I don't
- 33:03give a [ __ ] about your UFC [ __ ] I don't
- 33:04give a [ __ ] about your UFC [ __ ]
- 33:06Well, that's what I used to be like, and
- 33:07then now I'm not that way.
- 33:08>> Afterwards, he made reference to Ken's
- 33:10faltering career and suggested that his
- 33:12audience was dwindling down to nothing.
- 33:15>> If you signed a blank Gilden shirt,
- 33:17would it decrease in value?
- 33:18>> Wait, if I signed what?
- 33:19>> A blank Gilden shirt. Just like a blank
- 33:21black t-shirt.
- 33:22>> Okay, I'm going to tell you a story, and
- 33:24you better noting make fun of me.
- 33:25>> I wouldn't want to bully someone. I
- 33:26signed I signed an iPhone and I put it
- 33:29on eBay and I said I'm selling this and
- 33:32no one bought it.
- 33:33>> That's a big surprise. What's your
- 33:34message to your fan?
- 33:35>> Fans.
- 33:36>> I wrote it here. What's your message to
- 33:38your fan?
- 33:39>> Okay, but I have fans and my message
- 33:41>> You have a big fan out there. What's
- 33:42your message?
- 33:43>> My message to my fans is
- 33:44>> fan singular.
- 33:45>> With Ken pushing 60, the generational
- 33:48divide between the two was apparent for
- 33:49all to see. And it quickly became
- 33:52obvious that he didn't know what to do
- 33:53with this kid at all. Would you rather
- 33:56get $480,000 right now or 16 cents that
- 33:59doubles every day for a week?
- 34:01>> 16 cents that doubles every day for a
- 34:03week.
- 34:03>> That would add up to 2048 total.
- 34:05>> Is that true?
- 34:06>> That's true. I just did the math in my
- 34:07head. I didn't write it down or nothing.
- 34:09>> Damn. Cuz you want to go usually
- 34:11exponential. You know what I'm saying?
- 34:12>> Yeah. Are you Jewish?
- 34:13>> Well, my last name, the Italian side
- 34:16isani.
- 34:17>> So, you're Italian.
- 34:18>> I'm Italian. But they look more like
- 34:19they come from Israel, not from Italy.
- 34:21Does that make sense?
- 34:22>> I know. For example, my mother looks
- 34:24people think she's Ashkanazi.
- 34:27>> Replace her face.
- 34:28>> Sorry.
- 34:28>> Maybe your mother should replace her
- 34:29face.
- 34:31>> She What the is that supposed to mean?
- 34:34That's so insulting, dude.
- 34:35>> And while he had every right to despise
- 34:37him, Ken actually came away with some
- 34:39reverence for the young man for just how
- 34:41little he cares about offending anyone.
- 34:43>> I would be the worst [ __ ] poster on
- 34:45Twitter of all time. I'd be a total
- 34:48troll. I'd be talking mad [ __ ] all day
- 34:50long.
- 34:51>> You know that kid, Matan? He's that kid,
- 34:53the Israeli kid who's like 17 years old
- 34:55and a complete troll. I did his podcast.
- 34:57It was so fun. But he's just like that
- 34:59those kids at that age, they are about
- 35:01just there's no reverence to anything.
- 35:03No,
- 35:03>> they want to tear it all down.
- 35:05>> They want to tear it all down. Also,
- 35:06it's all about making a a living getting
- 35:09eyeballs on you. Yeah. Right. That's
- 35:10what their their business is, eyeballs.
- 35:12>> However, not everyone shares that view
- 35:14at all. George Santos is one of them.
- 35:16>> [music]
- 35:17>> You'd think that a disgraced member of
- 35:18the House of Representatives who pleaded
- 35:20guilty in August 2024 to wire fraud and
- 35:23aggravated identity theft really should
- 35:25have known better than to have anything
- 35:26to do with Maton. But all these people
- 35:29really care about is clicks. So perhaps
- 35:31it's no big shock that they'd put
- 35:32themselves in the firing line for the
- 35:34views. During his trip to Santos's Pants
- 35:36on Fire podcast, Baton quickly made it
- 35:38obvious that he had less than an ounce
- 35:40of appreciation for the people he was
- 35:41talking to. I do like and I'm not a
- 35:44violent person but I want I I want it
- 35:47like I want to tell you something how
- 35:49slow that was.
- 35:50>> What's your goal with your ass?
- 35:51>> You know why I would stick this heel
- 35:52>> this very expensive shoe that you could
- 35:54never afford.
- 35:55>> Is you guys whole thing that you were
- 35:56like arrogant that you have money?
- 35:58>> No. You said that we had you said we're
- 36:00poor. I was just making a racist.
- 36:02>> You call me trans. You
- 36:04>> I was asking
- 36:05>> you literally said you said already
- 36:07you've crossed so many boundaries. Why
- 36:08do you do that?
- 36:09>> You told me you only had
- 36:10>> Do you have a girlfriend?
- 36:10>> You told me you only had one. He's never
- 36:12been touched by a girl and he never will
- 36:13be.
- 36:14>> Are you gay?
- 36:14>> You You Oh,
- 36:16>> are you
- 36:16>> You told me you only had one boundary.
- 36:18>> Are you racist?
- 36:19>> Yeah, absolutely.
- 36:20>> Whether it was their first time
- 36:21encountering a troll of his magnitude or
- 36:24something about Maton that just really
- 36:26bothered them, things would escalate
- 36:27over the course of the interview that
- 36:29his co-host Naja challenged the teenager
- 36:32to a fight.
- 36:32>> Let's go. Let's go ahead and get up.
- 36:36>> Are you Are you air punching a woman?
- 36:38>> I would like to punch her for real in
- 36:40the face. You said no physical, but
- 36:41>> I said you don't touch me.
- 36:42>> You don't touch me.
- 36:43>> But you think you can touch me?
- 36:44>> Yeah.
- 36:44>> I'll throw a a leg kick in your face.
- 36:47>> Mhm.
- 36:47>> Oh,
- 36:48>> now you're only a child, so I would
- 36:50actually be the one to go to jail if I
- 36:52pulverize.
- 36:52>> So I win completely.
- 36:54>> What did you take before you got here?
- 36:55>> Nothing.
- 36:55>> Why did you stand up like that? Who
- 36:57raised you? Mom or dad? Are you single
- 36:59single mother? Probably.
- 37:00>> To this day, it's Santos's most
- 37:02successful podcast episode on YouTube by
- 37:04a mile. Mainly because it's all of
- 37:06Matan's fans who watched it and felt
- 37:08like he won the entire exchange. Hands
- 37:10down, them not understanding they're the
- 37:12butt of the joke and being so hostile is
- 37:14the funniest thing I've seen all month.
- 37:16Eventually, George returned the favor
- 37:18and appeared on Maton's show. Left
- 37:20without the constraints of a normal
- 37:22podcast, Maton delve deep into how
- 37:24Santos' sentence for his crimes was
- 37:26commuted by Trump and just wouldn't let
- 37:28up. Did you offer your ass to various
- 37:30prison gangs for protection?
- 37:36Why are you looking at me as if that's
- 37:37not a reasonable question to ask? a
- 37:39basically handicapped gay guy who went
- 37:41to jail.
- 37:43>> I'm going to give you a shot to ask a
- 37:45decent question.
- 37:46>> Seriously, why the hell did Trump pardon
- 37:48you from jail?
- 37:48>> I don't know. Ask President Trump.
- 37:50>> What? What happened? Did you offer him
- 37:51like a sexual favor?
- 37:54You said if you release me, I'll owe you
- 37:56a sexual favor.
- 37:59Is that what happened? You're quiet
- 38:01about it. Are you under some NDA?
- 38:02>> No, I'm I'm just trying to think like
- 38:05you know what's going on in my brain
- 38:06right now? You're talking and you're
- 38:07going yap yap [music] yap yap yap. I
- 38:09mean it's not like you're saying
- 38:10anything interesting to me. So I mean
- 38:11I'm just
- 38:12>> I'm just I had
- 38:13>> I'm playing Gloria Stefon in my head.
- 38:14I'm sorry.
- 38:15>> I actually asked you a pretty tame
- 38:17question. I said
- 38:18>> you think it's tame to ask me if the
- 38:19president of the United States bartered
- 38:21with me on favors?
- 38:22>> No, I was referencing.
- 38:23>> You think that'sing tame? You think
- 38:25that's a normal question you ask a human
- 38:27being?
- 38:27>> Yes, actually. And you're sick.
- 38:29You'reing insane. Go ahead. Along the
- 38:31way, he proved once again that he was
- 38:33among the most fearless comedians out
- 38:35there when the talk turned to Georgia's
- 38:37support out of Zionism with Maton
- 38:39responding in a way that would have most
- 38:41content creators terrified about the
- 38:43consequences.
- 38:44>> What's your take on Israel?
- 38:47So, you're a big Israel guy.
- 38:49>> You can say that.
- 38:50>> So, that's how you got out of jail.
- 38:52>> Oh my god. There goes the conspiracy
- 38:54theories.
- 38:55>> There he goes.
- 38:56>> So, let me ask you a question. What's
- 38:57your take on Israel?
- 39:01>> [sighs]
- 39:02>> At this point, it's a miracle that
- 39:04anyone voluntarily goes on Maton's show
- 39:06because no matter who you are, there is
- 39:08virtually no chance that you're going to
- 39:10make it through the whole thing without
- 39:11him yielding a viral clip where he's
- 39:14making you look ridiculous or incapable
- 39:16of taking a joke. That is his
- 39:18superpower. And at the moment, it seems
- 39:20like there's no chance he'll fall
- 39:22anytime soon so long as people remain
- 39:24stupid enough to think that they're the
- 39:26ones who will be the exception to the
- 39:28rule.
