  1. 0:00I built a six-figure a month business
  2. 0:01solely just by learning the skill of ads
  3. 0:03with no prior case studies, no prior
  4. 0:06followers, and no prior experience. And
  5. 0:08in this video, I'm going to show you how
  6. 0:09I would make my first $100,000 in
  7. 0:11freelance brand scaling over and over
  8. 0:13again, starting from complete scratch
  9. 0:15with no experience. You're getting the
  10. 0:17full step-by-step blueprint. You're
  11. 0:19going to know how to sign your first
  12. 0:20client, how to run your first ad
  13. 0:21campaign, and how to exactly make your
  14. 0:23first $10,000 a month. Section one, what
  15. 0:25is freelance brand killing, and why
  16. 0:27should I do it? To put it simple, it's a
  17. 0:28skill where you run ads for businesses
  18. 0:30and get paid for doing so. Which means
  19. 0:32you're not building the brand. You're
  20. 0:33just scaling it with ads. And you're
  21. 0:35probably asking, why would people even
  22. 0:36want this if they can do it themselves?
  23. 0:38But here's the thing. Most businesses
  24. 0:40either suck at running ads or don't have
  25. 0:42the time to run ads. So what they do is
  26. 0:44they outsource the skill of running ads
  27. 0:45to an outside company, which in this
  28. 0:47case would be you. To them, ads manager
  29. 0:49platforms can seem too overwhelming, too
  30. 0:51complex, or they just simply don't have
  31. 0:53the time to do it. So they'd rather pay
  32. 0:54someone who's an expert. But to some
  33. 0:55freelance brands killing up in its
  34. 0:57entirety, it means you're basically the
  35. 0:59middleman between the platforms like
  36. 1:00Instagram, Tik Tok, Google, all the ad
  37. 1:02platforms you're going to be running ads
  38. 1:04for these businesses on. You run ads for
  39. 1:06them so they don't have to do it
  40. 1:07themselves. You can get paid in three
  41. 1:08different ways. A flat monthly fee that
  42. 1:10they pay you upfront, cut of the revenue
  43. 1:12you make them, or a cut of their ad
  44. 1:14spend. And it's not hard to learn how to
  45. 1:15run ads. There's tons of YouTube videos
  46. 1:17out there on my page. Buy a course or
  47. 1:20literally just play around inside of the
  48. 1:21ads manager. Even if you're not an
  49. 1:23expert, you should just try to sign your
  50. 1:24first client and learn by actually
  51. 1:26running ads for them. Then pick a niche
  52. 1:27that makes sense for you. Whether it's
  53. 1:29clothing brands, whether it's lead genen
  54. 1:30businesses, service-based businesses, or
  55. 1:33just generalized ecom stores, any and
  56. 1:35every type of business is a prospect. If
  57. 1:38they own a business, there's a way you
  58. 1:40can make them more money by running ads
  59. 1:41for them. If you help a business get
  60. 1:42more leads and more customers, they're
  61. 1:44happily going to pay you. And the great
  62. 1:45thing about this business model is it's
  63. 1:47only getting bigger and bigger as more
  64. 1:49stuff moves digital and online. But let
  65. 1:51me show you proof that this business
  66. 1:52model actually works. Let me tell you
  67. 1:54about Josh, who's 18 with no experience
  68. 1:56prior, four months after discovering
  69. 1:58freelance brand scaling. He was clearing
  70. 2:0010K a month from just one client. I've
  71. 2:02been trying to tell you guys literally
  72. 2:03anyone can do this. In high school, I
  73. 2:05used to work a normal ass job, was a
  74. 2:07normal ass kid, didn't get the best
  75. 2:09grades in high school, and lived a
  76. 2:10completely normal life in a small town.
  77. 2:12You're broke. You're [ __ ] poor. I
  78. 2:15simply just found a skill on the
  79. 2:17internet, learned it, mastered it, and
  80. 2:19scaled it. I always knew that I had that
  81. 2:21drive inside of me to do something like
  82. 2:22this online. I just never knew what it
  83. 2:24was. I was trying so many different
  84. 2:26business models throughout high school.
  85. 2:28From crypto to NFTTS to drop shipping to
  86. 2:30trading. None of it ever worked for me
  87. 2:32until I one day started a clothing
  88. 2:34brand, learned how to run ads for that
  89. 2:36clothing brand, and then realized I
  90. 2:37could make a [ __ ] ton more money doing
  91. 2:39it for other brands. So, I went from
  92. 2:41being a normal kid who played Fortnite
  93. 2:43in his parents' basement all day to
  94. 2:45making 10, $20,000 a month online, ended
  95. 2:48up dropping out of college, two months
  96. 2:49in, moving across the country and now
  97. 2:51making multiple six figures a month. If
  98. 2:53I can do it, so can you because like I
  99. 2:55said, I'm a normal ass kid and there is
  100. 2:57nothing special about me. If I were to
  101. 2:59do it again from zero, I would do it
  102. 3:01pretty much exactly how Josh did. He
  103. 3:03joined my ERT program and learned by
  104. 3:05doing, not just waiting. He spent months
  105. 3:07experimenting with Facebook ads. And
  106. 3:08then he landed his first high ticket
  107. 3:10client after doing just a little bit of
  108. 3:12outreach. He even was going to in-person
  109. 3:14events to network and close leads in
  110. 3:16person. The first week of April, he made
  111. 3:18$7,300 just from one client. Real skill,
  112. 3:21building trust, being transparent with
  113. 3:23these brands. That's all it takes.
  114. 3:25Section three, how to get clients with
  115. 3:26no experience. Here's the part that
  116. 3:28holds most people back. They always say,
  117. 3:30"I don't have a personal brand. I've
  118. 3:31never signed a client. How is anyone
  119. 3:33supposed to trust me?" I had all those
  120. 3:34same doubts and thoughts when I was
  121. 3:36starting at 17, but I still built a
  122. 3:38six-figure a month business thanks to
  123. 3:40the way I go about doing my outreach.
  124. 3:42And the truth is, you're probably
  125. 3:43focusing on the wrong skill from the
  126. 3:45start. 99% of the time, someone who has
  127. 3:47confidence in their outreach is going to
  128. 3:49beat someone who has experience but has
  129. 3:52no confidence. It all starts with being
  130. 3:54confident in yourself. And I know that
  131. 3:55may like sound corny, sound like I'm
  132. 3:57just yapping, but that is genuinely the
  133. 3:59truth. If you can believe in yourself
  134. 4:01that you can sign a client and that you
  135. 4:03can get results for that client, that
  136. 4:04client is going to be much more drawn
  137. 4:06towards it, and you're literally wasting
  138. 4:07your time. If you're just practicing
  139. 4:09learning the skill of running ads, but
  140. 4:11not actually going and signing the
  141. 4:12clients and throwing yourself into the
  142. 4:14fire, you have to put yourself in a
  143. 4:15situation where your back is against the
  144. 4:17wall and you are forced to get results
  145. 4:19for that client. You got to put yourself
  146. 4:20in tough situations to succeed. But this
  147. 4:22is the exact outreach methods that I did
  148. 4:25and that also Josh did. Number one, cold
  149. 4:27call. Very simple. You could use AI to
  150. 4:30write a basic pitch for you. And not
  151. 4:31even necessarily a script to follow when
  152. 4:33you're cold calling these businesses,
  153. 4:35but more so of a framework that you can
  154. 4:36follow along with and use over the phone
  155. 4:38when you're cold calling these
  156. 4:40businesses. Next, you could use
  157. 4:41Apollo.ai for lead scraping. Basically,
  158. 4:43a software where you can just scrape
  159. 4:44tons of phone numbers and emails of
  160. 4:46businesses that you can then use to
  161. 4:48actually reach out to. In this case,
  162. 4:49Cole, literally practice for 30 minutes
  163. 4:51a day. Whether that's in the mirror,
  164. 4:52whether that's just practicing on the
  165. 4:54phone, looking at the wall, or whether
  166. 4:55it's actually just dialing these
  167. 4:57businesses and learning through
  168. 4:58failures. A lot of people have the fear
  169. 5:00of cold calling, but in the end of the
  170. 5:01day, who really gives a [ __ ] It's not
  171. 5:03like you're ever going to see that
  172. 5:04person in your life if you fumble the
  173. 5:06bag on the call. And nobody really does
  174. 5:08cold calling anymore. So, if you can
  175. 5:09make yourself stand out simply with
  176. 5:11confidence, you're going to do well,
  177. 5:13which means you are going to sign
  178. 5:14clients. You just have to actually go
  179. 5:16and do it. I could sit here and give you
  180. 5:18all the information in the world about
  181. 5:19cold calling, but if you don't just go
  182. 5:21throw yourself in the fire, you're never
  183. 5:22going to be successful with it. So,
  184. 5:24outreach method number two, cold email.
  185. 5:26Use Smartle.ai to automate these emails.
  186. 5:29Try multiple different angles of your
  187. 5:31emails, whether that's Loom videos, case
  188. 5:33studies, direct. Again, write a little
  189. 5:35bit of a paragraph that you can email to
  190. 5:37these brands, mass scale, or maybe
  191. 5:39you're sending a 2-minute long Loom
  192. 5:40video explaining what exactly you can do
  193. 5:42for them. And then obviously the whole
  194. 5:43objective of this email is to get them
  195. 5:45booked in for a call where you actually
  196. 5:47sit down, consult their brand, and close
  197. 5:49the deal. Again, make sure you're
  198. 5:50focusing on personalization at scale.
  199. 5:53What a lot of people tend to do with
  200. 5:54cold emails is just blast out emails,
  201. 5:56blast out emails, copy and paste the
  202. 5:58same message. But personalization is
  203. 6:00huge with these emails. That's where
  204. 6:02you're going to draw these businesses
  205. 6:03in. When they realize you're putting
  206. 6:05real time and effort into personalizing
  207. 6:07an email for them, feels much more
  208. 6:08direct to them rather than just your
  209. 6:10mass emailing and just trying to sign
  210. 6:12clients, makes it seem like you care
  211. 6:14much more about actually helping. So,
  212. 6:16the third and final outreach method is
  213. 6:18going to be social media DMs. Now,
  214. 6:20first, make sure that your profile looks
  215. 6:22clean. If you're outreaching these
  216. 6:23businesses and they go to your profile
  217. 6:24and it looks like [ __ ] they're going to
  218. 6:26show no interest in working with you.
  219. 6:27So, make sure you have a good
  220. 6:29wellresented Instagram or Twitter or Tik
  221. 6:31Tok, whatever you're outreaching on.
  222. 6:33React to their content before pitching.
  223. 6:34Show that you truly care about their
  224. 6:36business and you're there to help them,
  225. 6:38not just there to pitch them and get
  226. 6:40their money. Building that connection,
  227. 6:41building that trust, and building that
  228. 6:43relationship between you and a prospect
  229. 6:45is huge. I cannot stress that enough.
  230. 6:47Keep it short, casual, and confident.
  231. 6:49The whole goal is a couple DMs back and
  232. 6:50forth, get them booked in for a call
  233. 6:52where you can actually make your pitch
  234. 6:53and then close them. And if you want
  235. 6:55personal help inside of the ERT with
  236. 6:56this where I work one-on-one with you to
  237. 6:58help you land your first client, build
  238. 7:00your offer and run ads the right way or
  239. 7:02students like Josh came from, you can
  240. 7:04tap the link down below in the
  241. 7:05description and I'll see you inside. But
  242. 7:06once you've got a client, how do you
  243. 7:07actually run ads and get them results?
  244. 7:09Section four, running Facebook ads. Yes,
  245. 7:11outreach gets you paid, but delivering
  246. 7:13real results is what gets you paid again
  247. 7:16and again and again. Doing it right all
  248. 7:18comes down to a few factors of setting
  249. 7:19your ads up properly. And it's crazy cuz
  250. 7:21it's really not that hard. But before we
  251. 7:23actually hop into the Facebook Ads
  252. 7:24Manager, we need to make sure these
  253. 7:26three things are all dialed in, or else
  254. 7:28your ads might just burn money. Number
  255. 7:29one, your content needs to be nice and
  256. 7:31just good-looking overall aesthetic
  257. 7:32content. It needs to be eye-catching and
  258. 7:34captivating. Make sure it's intriguing.
  259. 7:36Make sure it's aesthetic. The first
  260. 7:37thing customers see when they see an ad
  261. 7:39is the content. So, if it's not hooking
  262. 7:41them and reeling them in, well, your
  263. 7:43content's [ __ ] Your product obviously
  264. 7:45needs to actually be a good product.
  265. 7:47That's pretty much the first, if not the
  266. 7:49second thing that customers are going to
  267. 7:50see when they see your ad is the product
  268. 7:52itself. They don't think the product is
  269. 7:54something worth buying. They're not
  270. 7:55going to buy it. Simple as that. That's
  271. 7:57self-explanatory. It needs to be unique
  272. 7:58and it needs to actually stand out
  273. 8:00against the other people who are also
  274. 8:01running ads to the same customers. And
  275. 8:03then three, your offer. Make it
  276. 8:05exclusive to make customers feel like
  277. 8:07they are the one getting the win when
  278. 8:09purchasing from the brand and not just
  279. 8:11they're making money. This could be a
  280. 8:12discount. This could be free shipping.
  281. 8:14This could be a buy one get one free.
  282. 8:16This could be a free item included if
  283. 8:17you order now. For example, like a
  284. 8:19bracelet or keychain or something, some
  285. 8:21sort of offer that actually incentivizes
  286. 8:23customers to go and purchase from the
  287. 8:25brand, the business, whatever. And once
  288. 8:26that's all good to go, this is how you
  289. 8:28actually run and set up ads the right
  290. 8:30way. Let's hop on the computer. Let's
  291. 8:32set this [ __ ] Facebook account up.
  292. 8:34How about that? First things first,
  293. 8:35we're going to go to all tools. We're
  294. 8:36going to go to business settings. Like I
  295. 8:38said in the last video, this is where
  296. 8:39everything essentially is going to be
  297. 8:41set up. So, this is going to be real
  298. 8:43simple. It's not hard to do at all. So,
  299. 8:45first things first, when a client is
  300. 8:46inviting you to their ads manager, if
  301. 8:49you're running ads for your own
  302. 8:50business, ignore this, but if you have a
  303. 8:52client and he's trying to invite you to
  304. 8:54the ads manager, very simple. Boom.
  305. 8:55Invite people. He sends an invite to
  306. 8:57your email.
  307. 9:01Make sure he gives you full control. The
  308. 9:03other stuff isn't set up on this
  309. 9:04account, so you won't see things like
  310. 9:06the page, the Instagram account, but
  311. 9:08it'll all display here on the left side.
  312. 9:10And then make sure you select all of
  313. 9:11these and give it full control. Each
  314. 9:13asset is going to be a different thing
  315. 9:14like ad account, like page, like
  316. 9:16Instagram account, so on. Data set, so
  317. 9:18on and so forth. When you hear me say
  318. 9:20pixel, data set, by the way, same thing.
  319. 9:22Same thing. They used to be called
  320. 9:23pixels, but they rebranded it to data
  321. 9:25source. So, I still say pixel sometimes
  322. 9:27cuz that's my nature. I've been doing
  323. 9:29this for years, so that's just in my
  324. 9:31nature. Same thing with the business
  325. 9:32portfolio. Sometimes it's called
  326. 9:34business portfolio. Sometimes it's
  327. 9:35called business manager. I've been doing
  328. 9:37this for years, so it's just my nature
  329. 9:38to call it the old [ __ ] but it's the
  330. 9:40new stuff. Now, make sure they give you
  331. 9:41access to all those assets. That's how
  332. 9:43you invite someone to the account. Next
  333. 9:45page. Real real simple here. The page
  334. 9:47again is just like the Facebook profile.
  335. 9:49So, we're just going to come to add,
  336. 9:50create a new page. I'm just going to
  337. 9:52name this price scales. Choose a
  338. 9:54category. Let's just say marketing
  339. 9:56agency. Sure. Bio, whatever. Blah blah
  340. 9:59blah. This is just going to create page.
  341. 10:02So, boom. We create that. GTA 6 going to
  342. 10:04come out before this loads. All right.
  343. 10:06Perfect. This is an asset. So, you're
  344. 10:07going to want to make sure that when the
  345. 10:09client does this, you have access to it.
  346. 10:11Full control. Boom. As long as he gives
  347. 10:13you full control when you come here and
  348. 10:15he invites you, you'll be able to give
  349. 10:17yourself full control to the assets. So,
  350. 10:20if he doesn't give you full control to
  351. 10:21the assets, but full control of the
  352. 10:22account as a whole, you can add yourself
  353. 10:24as a member to those assets. Add
  354. 10:26account. Again, you're just going to
  355. 10:28same thing as the page. I already made
  356. 10:29one, so I'm just going to leave it. But
  357. 10:31come here. Instagram accounts. Simple.
  358. 10:32Just going to come here. Connect your
  359. 10:34Instagram account. Log in. Again, when
  360. 10:35you have a client though, you're not
  361. 10:37going to want to ask him, "Yo, bro,
  362. 10:38what's your Instagram log?" Just record
  363. 10:40demonstration of how to do it. Send it
  364. 10:42over to him. Have him do this as well as
  365. 10:44inviting you, as well as the payment
  366. 10:47method, cuz that's just confidential
  367. 10:48stuff. You don't want to break trust
  368. 10:50with the client by asking him for that
  369. 10:52[ __ ] So, next data source. Oh, we're
  370. 10:54going to skip over that for now. Okay.
  371. 10:55So, payment method. Simple. You're going
  372. 10:57to come in here, accounts. You're going
  373. 10:58to see the ad account. You just have to
  374. 11:00add a payment method to that ad account.
  375. 11:01So, literally just click add payment
  376. 11:03method. I recommend doing a debit or
  377. 11:05credit card and then this will just
  378. 11:06automatically pay as you're running ads.
  379. 11:08It'll just automatically bill the card.
  380. 11:10Now, one thing that commonly happens is
  381. 11:12the card or the bank starts to decline
  382. 11:15the payment method because the bank sees
  383. 11:17randomly transactions from Facebook
  384. 11:19coming in and when you first start
  385. 11:20running ads, it's going to charge you in
  386. 11:22really small increments. So, you may be
  387. 11:24spending $50 a day on ads, but it's
  388. 11:26going to be charging you every like $5
  389. 11:28that it's spent. So, it's going to
  390. 11:29charge you 10 times in a day if you're
  391. 11:31spending $50 a day on ads. And then the
  392. 11:33bank might be like, "What the hell is
  393. 11:34going on here? Is this card getting
  394. 11:35hacked? Block the transactions." To fix
  395. 11:37that, just have your client call their
  396. 11:39bank and just say, "Hey, can you
  397. 11:40whitelist transactions from Facebook?
  398. 11:42Can you stop blocking transactions from
  399. 11:44Facebook? This is me running ads for my
  400. 11:47business. Can you stop blocking these?"
  401. 11:48Simple as that. When setting up the data
  402. 11:50set for an ecom store, let's just say
  403. 11:53that they're using Shopify, for example.
  404. 11:56We're going to come here, data set.
  405. 11:57We're just going to create a data set.
  406. 11:58Very, very simple. Brez scales.
  407. 12:02create. Now, there's two ways to set up
  408. 12:04a pixel. One, manually, and two, with
  409. 12:06partner integration. Manually would be
  410. 12:08like coding the pixel into the website
  411. 12:11because there has to be code in the
  412. 12:12website header to be able to track all
  413. 12:14the data coming from the ads into the
  414. 12:16website. With partner integration, it
  415. 12:18automatically does that for you. With
  416. 12:20manually, you have to custom code it in
  417. 12:22there, which sounds complex, but it's
  418. 12:24not hard at all. You literally just
  419. 12:25paste the line of code that it gives you
  420. 12:26into the header of the website. It's
  421. 12:28very easy. So when you have a client
  422. 12:30like a lead genen client where they
  423. 12:31built their website customly like had a
  424. 12:34developer build it or they use
  425. 12:35clickfunnels or some sort of platform
  426. 12:38that they built their website on where
  427. 12:39the integration doesn't have partner
  428. 12:42integration. Like watch if you click
  429. 12:43check for partner here. It'll show you
  430. 12:45all the different websites that you can
  431. 12:47create a website on and if they have
  432. 12:49partner integration or not. So most ecom
  433. 12:51stores are going to be on Shopify,
  434. 12:52right? So Shopify partner integration is
  435. 12:54really easy to use. I'm going to show
  436. 12:56you guys how to do it. If your client
  437. 12:57uses one of these other sites, which
  438. 12:59probably isn't high odds, it's going to
  439. 13:01be very easy to do as well. I'm not
  440. 13:02going to go through a tutorial for
  441. 13:04everyone. I'll show you guys how it's
  442. 13:05done on Shopify. And then if it's on
  443. 13:07anything else, it'll be self-explanatory
  444. 13:08to set up yourself. So, close. All
  445. 13:10right. So, we did this. We got to assign
  446. 13:12myself and conversions API is full
  447. 13:15control. We're going to come into
  448. 13:16Shopify and we're going to go to the
  449. 13:18sales channel, Facebook and Instagram.
  450. 13:19You're going to have access to your
  451. 13:20Shopify, your client's Shopify store.
  452. 13:22You're going to come to sales channels
  453. 13:23and you're either going to install
  454. 13:24Facebook and Instagram if you don't
  455. 13:26already have it installed. Otherwise,
  456. 13:27you're just going to go to Facebook and
  457. 13:29Instagram. So, it'll come to a screen
  458. 13:30like this. You're going to click get
  459. 13:31started and then obviously this isn't
  460. 13:33actually linked cuz this is the account
  461. 13:35that I'm demonstrating on for you guys
  462. 13:37as a brand new account because most of
  463. 13:38you are brand new. So, I wanted to do it
  464. 13:40on a brand new Facebook account so that
  465. 13:42it looks the same as it does for you
  466. 13:43guys and you don't get confused. So, I'm
  467. 13:44not going to be able to actually link
  468. 13:46this, but you're basically going to
  469. 13:48click next. You're going to connect your
  470. 13:50Facebook account. So, you'll click
  471. 13:51connect and it'll just ask you to log
  472. 13:53in. Very, very simple. Under business
  473. 13:55assets, it's going to show the pixel.
  474. 13:57You're just going to click connect.
  475. 13:59Simple as that. That's literally all you
  476. 14:01need to do. Connect your Facebook
  477. 14:02account by logging into your Facebook.
  478. 14:04And then under business assets, it's
  479. 14:05going to show the pixel there. And
  480. 14:07you're just going to click connect. To
  481. 14:08make sure that it's connected properly,
  482. 14:10you'll see the data set has an ID
  483. 14:13573479355445725.
  484. 14:18when it displays the pixel here under
  485. 14:20business assets. You just want to make
  486. 14:21sure those IDs match. You connect it,
  487. 14:23you submit it, you're good to go. Data
  488. 14:25set is connected. All of your ads will
  489. 14:27be able to track everything. So, I'm
  490. 14:28going to show you guys how to set up
  491. 14:29what's called a cold conversions
  492. 14:31campaign, which a cold conversions
  493. 14:32campaign essentially is when you are
  494. 14:34running ads to solely just a cold
  495. 14:36audience based on who Facebook thinks
  496. 14:38this ad will perform best in front of if
  497. 14:41it shows it to. So cold conversions is
  498. 14:43basically using Facebook's algorithm to
  499. 14:45automatically target customers who they
  500. 14:47think are likely to engage with the ad
  501. 14:49or end up being a customer from that ad.
  502. 14:51For example, like an interest stack is
  503. 14:53basically the same thing, just getting
  504. 14:54more specific with the audience based on
  505. 14:57interests. Retargeting campaign is
  506. 14:58retargeting customers who have already
  507. 15:00engaged with the brand or business or an
  508. 15:03ad. Lookalike is an audience similar to
  509. 15:06something based off of what you set the
  510. 15:08lookalike made off of. So, you could set
  511. 15:10a lookalike up based off of purchasers
  512. 15:12you've had in the last 30 days. Let's
  513. 15:14say it's an ecom store. People who have
  514. 15:16purchased from the website within the
  515. 15:17last 30 days. You could create an
  516. 15:19audience that Facebook would think is
  517. 15:21similar to them and target those people.
  518. 15:23I'll go more in depth on that. And then
  519. 15:24CBO is just a different kind of style of
  520. 15:26campaign that I'll get into in a little
  521. 15:28bit. Coming into the ads manager, like I
  522. 15:30said earlier, creating your first
  523. 15:32campaign. Boom. Top left. Create. Now,
  524. 15:34I'm going to show you an example of
  525. 15:36running a cold conversions campaign for
  526. 15:38a leads company. For I'm going to do
  527. 15:40roofing. I just have some random images
  528. 15:42and a random uh website here. They're
  529. 15:44not going to look good, so don't take
  530. 15:46this too serious. So, obviously for
  531. 15:47this, our goal here is leads. Now, say
  532. 15:49you're setting ads up for an ecom store.
  533. 15:51Obviously, you know, your goal is sales.
  534. 15:53You select whatever your goal here is.
  535. 15:55If you're running an engagement
  536. 15:56campaign, your goal is going to be
  537. 15:58awareness or engagement or traffic
  538. 16:00depending on just what you want to do.
  539. 16:02But in this case scenario for this
  540. 16:04roofing company, I want to generate them
  541. 16:05leads. So that's what I'm going to
  542. 16:07select. We're going to go to manual
  543. 16:08leads campaign. We're going to click
  544. 16:09continue. We're just going to name this.
  545. 16:11I'm going to name it just cold
  546. 16:13conversion campaign. You can name it
  547. 16:15whatever you want. The name does not
  548. 16:17affect anything. Just however you want
  549. 16:18to organize your stuff. If I was doing
  550. 16:20it for a client, usually probably do
  551. 16:22like res/ like Trojan, let's just say is
  552. 16:25the roof name of the roofing company.
  553. 16:27Res Trojan. Cool. Complete. Next, we're
  554. 16:30not going to touch any of the settings
  555. 16:31in the campaign level. Here you can see
  556. 16:33we have our campaign level. This is the
  557. 16:34adset level and this is the ad level. So
  558. 16:37in the campaign is where you're just
  559. 16:38basically naming the campaign, but this
  560. 16:40is going to be what's called an ADO.
  561. 16:41Automatic budget optimization versus
  562. 16:44vantage plus campaign budget. Next, come
  563. 16:47into the ad set. Again, I'll just name
  564. 16:49this gold conversions. Doesn't matter.
  565. 16:52Name it whatever you want. And the goal
  566. 16:54here is going to be to generate leads to
  567. 16:57your website because I'm going to be
  568. 16:58generating leads to this website where
  569. 17:00you can see they have a free estimate at
  570. 17:02the top. Now, in your case scenario,
  571. 17:04that might not be the same. Maybe you're
  572. 17:05generating clients or generating leads
  573. 17:07to an instant, websites and calls or
  574. 17:09messenger, wherever the business wants
  575. 17:11their leads generated to wherever you
  576. 17:14want to drive traffic to that convert
  577. 17:15into leads. That's what you're going to
  578. 17:16select. So, you know, maybe your client
  579. 17:18has an app and you're going to generate
  580. 17:20leads to their app. Maybe leads straight
  581. 17:22up call them. Maybe you want to generate
  582. 17:24them to Instagram. Maybe you want to
  583. 17:25generate them to a Google instant form,
  584. 17:27but in this case website. Now, the
  585. 17:29pixel, obviously, you know, there's the
  586. 17:31tutorial on how to set that up. So,
  587. 17:32follow that to set that up. I haven't
  588. 17:34done that because this isn't actually a
  589. 17:35roofing company that I'm running ads
  590. 17:37for. This is just an example. So, I
  591. 17:39don't have a website to connect this to,
  592. 17:40but you would just select your pixel
  593. 17:42here and like that. Very, very simple.
  594. 17:44Next, our goal here is obviously to
  595. 17:45maximize the number of conversions
  596. 17:47change for you? Probably not. Probably
  597. 17:49just conversions. But if you are trying
  598. 17:52to have a different goal with your ads,
  599. 17:53then select the goal that's applicable
  600. 17:55for you. Next, budget. This really just
  601. 17:57comes down to whatever your client is
  602. 17:58comfortable with spending per day.
  603. 18:00Whether, you know, they tell you they
  604. 18:01want to spend 50 per day, whether it's
  605. 18:0320 a day, 10 a day, whatever it is. Now,
  606. 18:05depending on how many creatives you
  607. 18:07have, this budget will vary. Now, I'm
  608. 18:09going to set up one creative. So,
  609. 18:11ideally, with one creative, just like
  610. 18:1310, 20 bucks a day. Um, could be more,
  611. 18:15could be less, but think about it like
  612. 18:16this, right? If you have five creatives,
  613. 18:18then you're only spending 20 bucks per
  614. 18:20day. Those that 20 bucks per day is
  615. 18:21going to spend amongst five creatives.
  616. 18:23Five different ads are each going to get
  617. 18:25only a little bit of spend. So, it's
  618. 18:26going to take a long time for you to be
  619. 18:28able to figure out which ads are
  620. 18:30performing the best. So, ideally, you
  621. 18:32know, you want to allocate like five to,
  622. 18:34you know, 20 bucks per creative. So, if
  623. 18:36you have four creatives, 20 to $80 a
  624. 18:39day. Just kind of depends. But in this
  625. 18:40case, I'll just say my budget is 20.
  626. 18:42Audience controls. This is where, you
  627. 18:44know, I was where this other stuff kind
  628. 18:46of comes into play. Interests,
  629. 18:48targeting, lookike. Like I said, we're
  630. 18:50just going to be setting up a cool
  631. 18:51purchase campaign. So, we're going to
  632. 18:52switch this to original audience. We're
  633. 18:54just not going to touch anything. The
  634. 18:55only thing that I'm going to change is
  635. 18:56most likely in this case, an 18-year-old
  636. 18:59isn't going to need a roofing job. Think
  637. 19:00of like since it's a roofing company, it
  638. 19:02would be homeowners that would be
  639. 19:04interested in this service. And what age
  640. 19:06demographic owns homes? Probably like 25
  641. 19:08and up. That's what I'm going to go
  642. 19:10ahead and select for my targeting. So
  643. 19:11depending on what the business is, just
  644. 19:13think about it from a customer
  645. 19:15perspective and what their average
  646. 19:16customer would look like. Placements. So
  647. 19:18this is where you're going to choose
  648. 19:19where you want your ads to actually be
  649. 19:21displayed. Meta obviously is owned by
  650. 19:23Facebook and Instagram. So if we come to
  651. 19:25manual placements, you can see there's
  652. 19:26all the different options you can turn
  653. 19:28on, you can turn off. I most likely
  654. 19:30recommend, you know, if they're if their
  655. 19:32business can be ran both on Facebook and
  656. 19:34Instagram, just use Advantage Plus. If
  657. 19:36it's only one, then just select the one.
  658. 19:38So like if my business was only really
  659. 19:40applicable to Facebook, I'd only select
  660. 19:43Facebook. But in this case, Advantage
  661. 19:45Plus. So just again think about where
  662. 19:47from the customer's perspective, where
  663. 19:48would they be scrolling? That's pretty
  664. 19:50much all we got to do for this. Just
  665. 19:52give it a good look. Make sure we didn't
  666. 19:53miss anything. Now another setting here
  667. 19:55you can use is Advantage Plus audience.
  668. 19:58This is where Facebook basically has AI
  669. 20:01to kind of optimize your campaign in a
  670. 20:03sense. Um so you could test running
  671. 20:05Advantage Plus. That's basically the
  672. 20:07same as a cold conversions campaign or
  673. 20:09you could just do it straight up just
  674. 20:11regular custom audience and just have
  675. 20:14that set. So that's what I'm going to
  676. 20:15do. You could test a binge plus. I'm not
  677. 20:17going to tell you one performs better
  678. 20:18than the other because you never really
  679. 20:20know until you just run it and see.
  680. 20:22That's what the game of ads is. Is
  681. 20:23running a bunch of stuff, testing it,
  682. 20:25finding what works, and repeating it.
  683. 20:27Again, we're going to come to the ad.
  684. 20:29Now we're finished with the ad setup. So
  685. 20:31we're going to come to the ad, and
  686. 20:32inside of the ad here, just going to
  687. 20:33name this ad number one. Uh, you can
  688. 20:35name it whatever Instagram account. I
  689. 20:37don't have one linked for this roofing
  690. 20:39business, but you would link it here.
  691. 20:41Make sure you have your Facebook page
  692. 20:42set. Then you're going to come down here
  693. 20:44to the actual app setup. So, in this
  694. 20:46case scenario, we want to manually
  695. 20:48upload an ad, and we're going to have it
  696. 20:50be a single image ad. Now, there's
  697. 20:51multiple options for ads. You can do
  698. 20:53videos, pictures, you do single image,
  699. 20:55you could do carousels, which is, you
  700. 20:57know, there's multiple pictures in an
  701. 20:58ad. So, it's like it shows the first
  702. 20:59one, and then they swipe and there's
  703. 21:01another picture, they swipe, there's
  704. 21:02another one, there's swipe, there's
  705. 21:03another one, so on and so forth. website
  706. 21:04URL. We're going to come to charging
  707. 21:06roofing and we're going to grab that
  708. 21:08URL. So, copy paste. This is where when
  709. 21:12they click when they click on the ad,
  710. 21:14basically it'll take them exactly to
  711. 21:16here. So, if we preview it, it'll take
  712. 21:18them exactly here. Boom. There's the
  713. 21:19lead form. Now, we come down here. We're
  714. 21:21going to click setup creative image ad.
  715. 21:24Next. Now, we're going to import one of
  716. 21:27our images. So, again, I never said that
  717. 21:30this would be good creative to use. So,
  718. 21:32primary text. try to come up with
  719. 21:34something off the dome here. Uh let's
  720. 21:37just say free. What's their offer on
  721. 21:39their website here? Free roofing
  722. 21:41estimate. Completely free. We're going
  723. 21:43to emphasize free. Done for
  724. 21:47done. Now, the copy is important. That's
  725. 21:50the first thing people are going to
  726. 21:51read. So, think about copy. You can
  727. 21:53obviously add multiple different options
  728. 21:55here where it'll test multiple different
  729. 21:56lines of copy. So, I recommend, you
  730. 21:58know, writing out a couple lines and it
  731. 22:00can kind of automatically test those for
  732. 22:01you. And then basically just move
  733. 22:03forward with whichever one it thinks is
  734. 22:05going to perform the best. But call to
  735. 22:06action. Now this is what is going to be
  736. 22:08displayed on the button with the app. So
  737. 22:10in this case we're going to put get
  738. 22:11quote because that's you know what this
  739. 22:14is. Now if you have like a ecom product
  740. 22:16or whatever you would probably go with
  741. 22:18like shop now, contact us, whatever kind
  742. 22:21of is applicable for this app. So in my
  743. 22:23case it's the get quote music and
  744. 22:25everything. None of these stupid ads are
  745. 22:27off. Maybe turn on like visual touchups.
  746. 22:29You can play with some of these
  747. 22:30overlays. See, it automatically kind of
  748. 22:31adds on. We'll see what that looks like.
  749. 22:33Adding overlays. See, I think that made
  750. 22:34that look better. Visual touch-ups.
  751. 22:36Maybe we'll turn that on. If it seems
  752. 22:38like it's, you know, worth turning on.
  753. 22:39That's what our ads going to look like.
  754. 22:42And then boom, you click the green
  755. 22:44button, publish, and you're good to
  756. 22:45roll. So, by now you've seen the whole
  757. 22:47blueprint of how freelance brand killing
  758. 22:49works and how you could get started. And
  759. 22:50yeah, it's literally that simple. But
  760. 22:52I'm sure you probably still have a few
  761. 22:54questions and few concerns getting into
  762. 22:56it. So, let me hit the most common
  763. 22:58questions real quick. Should I niche
  764. 22:59down before I get my first client? What
  765. 23:01you should be doing to sign your first
  766. 23:02client is signing any and every business
  767. 23:04you can get your hands on. Whether it's
  768. 23:06even some sort of connection you already
  769. 23:07have in person like a family friend,
  770. 23:09uncle, like dad's friend, maybe even
  771. 23:11your parents' business, any sort of
  772. 23:13business you can get your hands on and
  773. 23:14sign as your first client to just get
  774. 23:16that hands-on experience. What if a
  775. 23:17client asks me to guarantee results?
  776. 23:19Well, you could work that into some term
  777. 23:21of contract if you're comfortable with
  778. 23:23that, assuming you're confident you're
  779. 23:24going to be able to get them results.
  780. 23:26But I try to stray away from it simply
  781. 23:27because you just never know what's going
  782. 23:29to happen. And there's also things that
  783. 23:31you have to depend on your client for in
  784. 23:33order to be able to get those results.
  785. 23:34And if they don't do their job, but you
  786. 23:36do yours and you don't get the results
  787. 23:38that you were promising them because of
  788. 23:40them not doing their job, they're going
  789. 23:42to look to blame you. Can I run ads
  790. 23:44without showing my face at all? 1,000%,
  791. 23:46bro. Just cold call, cold call, sign
  792. 23:47clients. You run ads of their content
  793. 23:49and their business. You would never have
  794. 23:51to be seen. It's kind of a common
  795. 23:53misconception with freelance brand
  796. 23:54scaling is I need to build a personal
  797. 23:56brand to be able to sign clients. No,
  798. 23:57you don't. Not at all. Some of my top
  799. 23:59students don't even post online. Next,
  800. 24:00who pays for the ads? The client always
  801. 24:03pays for the ads. What if I mess up a
  802. 24:05campaign and it loses money? Assuming
  803. 24:06you're signing businesses that are
  804. 24:08actual good businesses to run ads for,
  805. 24:10you won't. But if you do, you know, you
  806. 24:12just work that out with your client.
  807. 24:13It's not that big of a deal. And that's
  808. 24:14also why you start spending low and see
  809. 24:16the results. And as you see results
  810. 24:18start to come in with a campaign, that's
  811. 24:19when you start to scale the budget. Once
  812. 24:21you have that proof of concept, how do I
  813. 24:23price differently versus lead genen
  814. 24:24versus ecom brands? I mean, generally,
  815. 24:26if you can get a retainer up front, get
  816. 24:28a retainer up front. But for lead genen,
  817. 24:29if you're working performance-based pay,
  818. 24:31you take percentage of every lead you
  819. 24:33generate. So, you have x price for every
  820. 24:35lead you generate. Let's say you have $5
  821. 24:37per lead you generate. You generate
  822. 24:39a,000 leads in a month, you would get
  823. 24:40paid $5,000. For ecom, the other
  824. 24:43performance base would be 10% of the
  825. 24:45revenue you generate them. So, if you
  826. 24:46make them $10,000 in a month, you would
  827. 24:48take 10% of that. you would get paid
  828. 24:50$1,000. Who makes the creatives? The
  829. 24:52client makes the creatives, but you
  830. 24:53could also take it a step further and
  831. 24:55upsell them on making creatives for
  832. 24:56them. You kind of learn the skill of
  833. 24:58making creatives for these businesses
  834. 24:59and use that as an upsell for your
  835. 25:01services. Or you could partner with a
  836. 25:02graphic designer who could make them for
  837. 25:04your clients. But in the reality of it,
  838. 25:06you could use Canva templates, which are
  839. 25:08super [ __ ] simple to use. Next,
  840. 25:09what's the first thing you look at when
  841. 25:11a client asks you to run ads for them?
  842. 25:13Creative, the product, and overall just
  843. 25:15the brand and the way they present
  844. 25:16themselves. Next, do you ever reject
  845. 25:18clients if they're not a good fit? I do.
  846. 25:20Yes. I think early in your journey, you
  847. 25:21shouldn't just to be able to get that
  848. 25:23hands-on experience, but once you have a
  849. 25:25couple clients, you should kind of be
  850. 25:26picky with who you choose because, you
  851. 25:28know, some businesses are going to be
  852. 25:30easier to make money for than others.
  853. 25:31Next, can I use the same ad strategy
  854. 25:33across different clients? 100%, bro. You
  855. 25:36find something that works and you
  856. 25:37replicate it. That's the game of ads.
  857. 25:38You test different things. Once you find
  858. 25:40what works, you replicate it. Next, how
  859. 25:42long did it take me to start seeing
  860. 25:44money come in once I started freelance
  861. 25:46brands scaling? For me, it was in my
  862. 25:48first month. I signed my first couple of
  863. 25:49clients on an upfront retainer and was
  864. 25:51collecting cash before even having to do
  865. 25:52any of the work. Next, how do I know
  866. 25:54when I'm ready to raise my prices? It's
  867. 25:56pretty simple. Once you start to get
  868. 25:58clients coming to you and once you start
  869. 26:00to get really good at outreach and you
  870. 26:02get good at getting clients results,
  871. 26:03that's when you have proof of concept to
  872. 26:05be able to show these prospects, hey,
  873. 26:07I'm able to get these results for other
  874. 26:08businesses. I can do it for you, too.
  875. 26:10This is what it's going to cost up
  876. 26:11front. So, if you're interested in
  877. 26:13actually doing this the real way, not
  878. 26:14just watching videos, but actually
  879. 26:16landing clients, running ads, and of
  880. 26:18course, getting paid. I'll walk you
  881. 26:19through the entire process one-on-one.
  882. 26:21From setting ads up properly to closing
  883. 26:23your first client, scaling past 5, 10,
  884. 26:2515, 50K a month. Got students like Josh
  885. 26:28doing 20K a month, students like Jaden
  886. 26:30doing 40K a month, students like Jose
  887. 26:32doing 25K a month, students like Aiden
  888. 26:34doing over $200,000 a month. They all
  889. 26:37started from zero and now are making
  890. 26:39consistent crazy money. And there is
  891. 26:41nothing different from you versus them
  892. 26:43or even me versus you. So, if you're
