  1. 0:00When I made the first video, I told you
  2. 0:02to go back to square one. In order to
  3. 0:03really build some muscle. And try to
  4. 0:06shed the idea that you can't build
  5. 0:08muscle without supplements, steroids,
  6. 0:09or a fancy gym. I had a very important
  7. 0:12goal. The idea is simply that when you
  8. 0:15convince yourself you can't build
  9. 0:17muscle naturally. You will always feel
  10. 0:20the need for a new product, whether a
  11. 0:22supplement or a steroid, to grow. Here
  12. 0:25is the important question. Can you
  13. 0:27really not do it? Or has the idea that
  14. 0:30you can't been planted in your mind?
  15. 0:32Let me tell you something simple. In
  16. 0:35Roman civilization, for example, you
  17. 0:37find many statues carved with muscular
  18. 0:39physiques. With very clear anatomical
  19. 0:41details. And this makes us ask. An
  20. 0:45important question: were these statues
  21. 0:48just artistic imagination, or a
  22. 0:50reflection of real muscular bodies the
  23. 0:53sculptors saw? And if humans back then
  24. 0:59could build muscles with that size and
  25. 1:01detail without supplements or steroids.
  26. 1:04Then we can certainly do the same and
  27. 1:06go even further. Why? Let's go back in
  28. 1:09time a little bit. Let's remember the
  29. 1:1380s generation, the people who worked
  30. 1:15out in very simple gyms. Without the
  31. 1:18modern machines we have today. Most
  32. 1:21training was just iron and free weights
  33. 1:24. And if a machine was brought in. Like
  34. 1:27a lat pulldown, it was a huge leap for
  35. 1:30them. Despite that, people still built
  36. 1:33very strong bodies. And achieved
  37. 1:36excellent results. Pull-ups were an
  38. 1:38alternative to the machine. So was the
  39. 1:41lat pulldown. Where was the power?
  40. 1:44There is no comparison to the
  41. 1:46supplement and steroid users of today.
  42. 1:49And after training, it was a glass of
  43. 1:51sugarcane juice from Farghaly's. The
  44. 1:53poor man's BCAA. And afterwards, they'd
  45. 1:55go eat a plate of Koshary. Or a can of
  46. 1:58tuna. Or any meal that fit their budget
  47. 2:00. And they were still able to build
  48. 2:03muscle back then. What is it, Megahed?
  49. 2:05Do you want people to just eat Koshary?
  50. 2:08Man, I just want people to get back to
  51. 2:10training properly first. Then we can
  52. 2:13look at the diet part gradually.
  53. 2:15Unfortunately, what keeps me amazed. Is
  54. 2:18seeing a 16-year-old kid walking into
  55. 2:20the gym for the first time. Instead of
  56. 2:23thinking about how to learn the
  57. 2:24exercises correctly. Or organizing his
  58. 2:26meals and getting good sleep. Or even
  59. 2:29being patient with his body, the first
  60. 2:31thing he thinks about is taking
  61. 2:33steroids to grow fast. Have you even
  62. 2:36figured out how your body responds to
  63. 2:39training? Do you know the risks of
  64. 2:41steroids? Have you even learned the
  65. 2:43proper form yet? Or are you convinced
  66. 2:45from the start that you can't reach
  67. 2:48your goal without putting foreign
  68. 2:50substances in your body? The problem
  69. 2:53here isn't the product you want to buy.
  70. 2:56Regardless of its risks or benefits.
  71. 2:59The problem is the idea that has taken
  72. 3:01control of your thinking. You have
  73. 3:02become too impatient for results. To
  74. 3:04the point that you don't want to give
  75. 3:06your body a chance to do its natural
  76. 3:08job. If you want to know how steroids
  77. 3:11convinced people. And how they were
  78. 3:13discovered. Wait for us in the next
  79. 3:15episode.
