  1. 0:00This is a post published on Reddit by a
  2. 0:02Minecraft player who claims to have seen
  3. 0:04something weird in their ocean. They
  4. 0:07describe a strange entity with large
  5. 0:09eyes, but the attached image is totally
  6. 0:12empty. So, if you're like me, you
  7. 0:14probably read this and think that's
  8. 0:16weird, but it's probably just nothing.
  9. 0:18And yeah, I mean, one post about
  10. 0:20something strange is likely just a hoax
  11. 0:22trying to get some attention. Two posts
  12. 0:24from different people, I mean, that's
  13. 0:26probably a fluke. But what about three
  14. 0:28posts? What about 10? A h 100red? What
  15. 0:32about 10,000 posts all from different
  16. 0:36people all claiming to see the exact
  17. 0:39same thing.
  18. 0:44[music]
  19. 0:47But okay, let's cut the music. My goal
  20. 0:49with this video investigation is to
  21. 0:51figure out once and for all what did all
  22. 0:54these people see? What is this Leviathan
  23. 0:56that so many people are talking about?
  24. 0:58If you haven't already seen, in the last
  25. 1:00couple of months, there have been a huge
  26. 1:02number of reported sightings of the
  27. 1:04Leviathan all over forums, Reddit,
  28. 1:07Twitter. But I can't be the only one
  29. 1:09skeptical that it's either some massive
  30. 1:11hoax or people are just seeing things.
  31. 1:13But how are you supposed to even figure
  32. 1:15out or not if this Leviathan is real?
  33. 1:18Well, there's a ton of reports I've
  34. 1:19collected over the past few months that
  35. 1:21I could try to prove or disprove. But
  36. 1:23before I look at them, I want to see if
  37. 1:25I can just find this thing myself. If it
  38. 1:27is as widespread as people say it is,
  39. 1:30maybe it's not that hard to verify.
  40. 1:32Rumor has it the Leviathan appears in
  41. 1:34oceans. And in fact, almost every single
  42. 1:36report I've seen claiming to witness the
  43. 1:38Leviathan is in an ocean. But loading up
  44. 1:41a random world and checking every single
  45. 1:44ocean would take way too much time. So
  46. 1:46instead, I'm going to reference the
  47. 1:48Leviathan's lore, which I found on some
  48. 1:50creepy pasta Wikipedia page. People say
  49. 1:53that it appears specifically when an
  50. 1:55ocean generates 20,000 blocks out on
  51. 1:58both axes. And when it does, you'll find
  52. 2:01an unnaturally deep ocean where the
  53. 2:03Leviathan is hiding. I mean, that
  54. 2:05shouldn't even be possible in normal
  55. 2:07Minecraft. But just to make sure, what
  56. 2:09you're watching in the background now is
  57. 2:11me loading up hundreds of random worlds
  58. 2:13and teleporting to 20,000 20,000 trying
  59. 2:16to find this alleged deep ocean and the
  60. 2:19Leviathan. Obviously, I did hit an ocean
  61. 2:21on 20,000 20,000 a few times, but
  62. 2:23nothing out of the usual.
  63. 2:45What the hell?
  64. 2:50>> [music]
  65. 3:09>> I'm going to spare you the fancy
  66. 3:11dialogue lines. This is not possible in
  67. 3:14Minecraft [music] at all. A regular
  68. 3:16ocean, for reference, looks something
  69. 3:18like this. This ocean is not only six
  70. 3:21times as deep, it's hundreds, if not
  71. 3:24almost a thousand blocks across. Oceans
  72. 3:26just do not generate like this in
  73. 3:28Minecraft. So, something is very, very
  74. 3:31wrong. On screen is my game version and
  75. 3:33the seed in case you want to check this
  76. 3:35for yourself. Coordinates are, of
  77. 3:36course, 20,000 20,000. I have no mods
  78. 3:39on, nothing. This is literally vanilla
  79. 3:41Minecraft. It just shouldn't happen.
  80. 3:45But be that as it may, I looked for a
  81. 3:48few hours and didn't find anything. No
  82. 3:52leviathan or monster or anything that
  83. 3:55shouldn't be in Minecraft. Anything
  84. 3:57except this ocean. So, what's going on?
  85. 4:01I tried loading up a few more worlds and
  86. 4:04after an hour, I hit another. This seed
  87. 4:07on the same version at the [music] same
  88. 4:10coordinates, an unnaturally deep ocean.
  89. 4:13I'm not sure what makes these two seats
  90. 4:16special compared to the worlds before
  91. 4:18them with a regular ocean at 20,000
  92. 4:2020,000. But also like the previous one,
  93. 4:23I didn't find anything weird in this
  94. 4:25ocean either. The only anomaly is the
  95. 4:27ocean itself. And this continued. I
  96. 4:30found two more deep oceans totaling four
  97. 4:33all at 20,000 20,000 on these four
  98. 4:36seeds. Why? I don't know. So, without
  99. 4:41any more leads, I decided to turn my
  100. 4:44attention to the reports.
  101. 4:47The reports are screenshots of the
  102. 4:49Leviathan sightings people have reported
  103. 4:51all over Twitter, Reddit, the Minecraft
  104. 4:53forums. You know the gist. I've compiled
  105. 4:55about 300 reports with a special thank
  106. 4:58you to this email address that just
  107. 4:59shared a folder with me when I asked my
  108. 5:01Discord server. Now, while some of the
  109. 5:03reports are very interesting, a lot of
  110. 5:06the reports are not very good. For
  111. 5:09example, you'll see a caption like, "I
  112. 5:12was swimming in my Minecraft world when
  113. 5:14all of a sudden the ocean opened up
  114. 5:16beneath me, swallowing me whole. At that
  115. 5:19moment, I was sent to the edge of the
  116. 5:21Understandable. An ethereal plane
  117. 5:24flanked by golden foliage and an endless
  118. 5:26sky. A world once inhabited now
  119. 5:29abandoned. The Leviathan is real." And
  120. 5:33the image on the post will look
  121. 5:34something like this. You get a few of
  122. 5:36these oddball reports, a lot of them
  123. 5:38talking about flexcks of gold when their
  124. 5:40screenshot is literally underwater, but
  125. 5:42the majority of reports are more
  126. 5:44sensible, but that doesn't mean that
  127. 5:46they're real. I don't know who started
  128. 5:48this rumor. This is the earliest mention
  129. 5:50of the Leviathan I could find, dating to
  130. 5:52January 8th of 2025. And I'll come back
  131. 5:55to that post in a second. But what ends
  132. 5:57up happening when a lot of people think
  133. 5:59that something like this is real is that
  134. 6:01they start to see things that aren't
  135. 6:04really there. Case in point, there's a
  136. 6:07lot of things in the Minecraft ocean
  137. 6:09that could be mistaken as the Leviathan.
  138. 6:12This user, Spunky Pickle, mentions
  139. 6:14seeing a weird shape flash in the corner
  140. 6:16of their screen, but from the
  141. 6:18screenshot, it's actually just a
  142. 6:20guardian's tail. Pugnacious claims to
  143. 6:22have seen a huge eye in an ocean ruin,
  144. 6:25but it's just a nautilus that swam in.
  145. 6:27And this is a very, very common pattern.
  146. 6:29All of these reports mistake a guardian
  147. 6:32or guardian tail as the Leviathan. All
  148. 6:34of these reports mistake a drowned as
  149. 6:36the Leviathan. These ones all mistake
  150. 6:38Kelp. These ones mistake Weird Terrain
  151. 6:40Generation. And these are all fake or
  152. 6:43edited. Even the earliest post that I
  153. 6:45could find mentioning the Leviathan is
  154. 6:48edited. Unless you believe that this was
  155. 6:51really in Minecraft, this post is a
  156. 6:54hoax. So, does that mean the Leviathan
  157. 6:57isn't real? No. But it definitely makes
  158. 7:01you wonder if this is just a Logess
  159. 7:03monster in Minecraft.
  160. 7:06That being said, there are a few reports
  161. 7:09that I can't explain.
  162. 7:12[music]
  163. 7:15This collection of screenshots are ones
  164. 7:17that I can't disprove as being fake or
  165. 7:20obviously photoshopped. And it doesn't
  166. 7:22really help that a lot of them don't
  167. 7:24have anything to disprove. Their
  168. 7:26eyewitness accounts claiming to see
  169. 7:28something flash on their screen, but
  170. 7:30their screenshot is empty. Almost like
  171. 7:33whatever they saw appeared for an
  172. 7:34instant, and this is the best they could
  173. 7:36get. Another example, check out these
  174. 7:39two screenshots of people's subtitles.
  175. 7:41This one is almost definitely fake. But
  176. 7:44this one looks somewhat believable if
  177. 7:46the Leviathan was some sort of bug. A
  178. 7:49lot of these reports also have shapes
  179. 7:51that look odd, but I can't fully tell if
  180. 7:53they're real or not. But of all of these
  181. 7:56reports, this one is by far the most
  182. 7:59interesting. It's from a user on Reddit
  183. 8:02going by Hummer 5718. The post reads
  184. 8:06like this. I was playing Minecraft when
  185. 8:08I found an unbelievably massive ocean
  186. 8:1220,000 blocks out into my Minecraft
  187. 8:14world on both axes. Of course, I knew
  188. 8:18what it was. I had read about it online
  189. 8:21and I was looking for it. The Leviathan.
  190. 8:24I can't say for sure that I saw it, but
  191. 8:27I swear something caught my eye. A tail
  192. 8:31darting through strands of kelp. An eye
  193. 8:33peeking out from under the waves. I know
  194. 8:36the Leviathan is real. Everyone else is
  195. 8:39going about it wrong. If you want my
  196. 8:41help finding it, email me. I don't
  197. 8:43respond to DMs.
  198. 8:47And this is Hummer screenshot.
  199. 8:55I don't know what exactly it was about
  200. 8:57how this was written, but something
  201. 8:59about it was interesting. I mean, this
  202. 9:01guy is definitely a little arrogant, or
  203. 9:03maybe he just actually knows something
  204. 9:05and doesn't want to tell us. But
  205. 9:07regardless, I sent him an email, and I
  206. 9:10got no response for several days. So, I
  207. 9:13decided to just look more on my own. And
  208. 9:17then I [music] found a gold mine. Bug
  209. 9:20report MC 373144
  210. 9:23on the official Minecraft bug tracker.
  211. 9:25Unnaturally deep ocean in Minecraft. and
  212. 9:30a response from a developer. Thank you
  213. 9:33for your report. We are investigating
  214. 9:35this and it is a known issue. It is
  215. 9:37currently believed to be due to an
  216. 9:39overflow in part of the terrain's PL and
  217. 9:41height map. Small errors accumulate
  218. 9:43around this area localized to around 2
  219. 9:4614 plus 2 blocks. The exact location of
  220. 9:49the overflow in the code has not been
  221. 9:51identified. However, the issue is being
  222. 9:53addressed. Thank you for helping us
  223. 9:55improve Minecraft.
  224. 10:00I mean, there it is. Mojang themselves,
  225. 10:02the developers of Minecraft, address
  226. 10:05that unnaturally deep oceans can
  227. 10:08generate, and it's because of a known
  228. 10:10technical issue in the game's code.
  229. 10:13Well, known kind of. This doesn't fully
  230. 10:16solve the case, but it sounds pretty
  231. 10:18good as an explanation, right? Someone
  232. 10:20was the first person to have experienced
  233. 10:23this bug. And because the coordinates
  234. 10:25are so convenient, they spun it into a
  235. 10:28story. A modern-day underwater
  236. 10:30herobrian. A leviathan that hides
  237. 10:33beneath an unnaturally deep ocean. Some
  238. 10:36people faked screenshots. Some people
  239. 10:38saw things that weren't there. [music]
  240. 10:40And the rest is history.
  241. 10:47But it still doesn't fully sit right
  242. 10:49with me. Ocean bug or not, so many
  243. 10:52people claim to have seen something. Am
  244. 10:55I really to believe that hundreds of
  245. 10:57people had a mass hallucination? Even if
  246. 11:00a lot of these reports can be debunked,
  247. 11:03some of them can't. So, is everyone here
  248. 11:06lying? Probably not. But if not, then
  249. 11:10what did they see? Well, as I was
  250. 11:12thinking about it, I got an email
  251. 11:14[music] back. Hello, I'd be willing to
  252. 11:17talk for 30 minutes. Please join this IP
  253. 11:20at 5:00 p.m. GMT with voice chat mod.
  254. 11:23You know the version, you know the
  255. 11:25coordinates. Yours, Hummer 5718.
  256. 11:42Um,
  257. 11:48[music]
  258. 11:53[music]
  259. 12:01[music]
  260. 12:09>> [music]
  261. 12:17[music]
  262. 12:21>> Hello.
  263. 12:24[music]
  264. 12:35>> [music]
  265. 12:45>> Hello.
  266. 12:46>> Hi. Hi. Nice to meet you.
  267. 12:47>> Oh, hi. Yeah, nice to meet you, too. Uh,
  268. 12:50welcome to my world.
  269. 12:51>> Yeah, of course. Thank you for having
  270. 12:52me. I appreciate you responding to my
  271. 12:54email, so out of the blue. Sorry for
  272. 12:55just messaging,
  273. 12:56>> but it's fine.
  274. 12:58>> Yeah, again, like, thank you. Is Hummer
  275. 12:59okay? Like, do you have any preference?
  276. 13:01>> Yeah. Yeah. No, Hummer is fine. I mean,
  277. 13:025718, whatever you want to call me, man.
  278. 13:04Okay, perfect. Yeah, I just wanted to
  279. 13:06ask you a few questions if that was
  280. 13:07okay.
  281. 13:09>> I read a post. I I saw your post and I
  282. 13:10was like, I got to message this guy.
  283. 13:12>> But really, are you some kind of
  284. 13:13journalist or something?
  285. 13:15>> I might make YouTube videos. Like, I was
  286. 13:16going to make a video on the Leviathan.
  287. 13:18>> Try to figure out what it is.
  288. 13:21>> That's That's interesting.
  289. 13:23>> Have you been hunting the Leviathan for
  290. 13:24a while?
  291. 13:26>> Well, I mean, I wouldn't really say
  292. 13:28hunting. I mean, I've been looking for
  293. 13:30Levi for like now over half a year.
  294. 13:32killing Levi.
  295. 13:35>> Levi I mean Leviathan. Levi is just a
  296. 13:37nickname I have for him.
  297. 13:38>> Yeah. Yeah. No worries. No worries. Um
  298. 13:41it's kind of cool.
  299. 13:41>> Yeah.
  300. 13:42>> So sorry. Could I ask uh why did you
  301. 13:44reach out?
  302. 13:45>> Oh, I Yeah. Like I said, I just wanted
  303. 13:46to ask you a question about your Reddit
  304. 13:48post if that was okay. Like this is the
  305. 13:50ocean where you took that screenshot,
  306. 13:51right? The 20k 20k.
  307. 13:54>> Yeah. Right over here. My my boat is
  308. 13:56over there. That's where I was near when
  309. 13:58I took the screenshot.
  310. 13:59>> Can I see it?
  311. 14:01No. [laughter]
  312. 14:03>> Okay. Uh, okay. Yes. So, you took that
  313. 14:05screenshot in this ocean.
  314. 14:07>> Uh, yes. Yeah. Yeah. Over there. It's I
  315. 14:10mean, it's close to the ice biome, but
  316. 14:11Yeah. Over there.
  317. 14:12>> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
  318. 14:14Why' you fake it?
  319. 14:16[music]
  320. 14:17>> Sorry.
  321. 14:21>> Why' [music] you fake your screenshot?
  322. 14:24>> I didn't. You see, I said I reached out
  323. 14:27to Hummer because I found his post
  324. 14:29interesting, but that's not exactly
  325. 14:31true. At least not for the reasons I
  326. 14:33alluded to. I [music] picked Hummer's
  327. 14:35report because it's meticulously fake.
  328. 14:38Minecraft has something called a biome
  329. 14:41temperature gradient. The game assigns a
  330. 14:43temperature value to each biome. Warm
  331. 14:46biomes get higher temperatures, cold
  332. 14:47biomes get lower temperatures. This
  333. 14:49impacts things like whether it rains or
  334. 14:52snows, but importantly, it also dictates
  335. 14:54which biomes can generate next to other
  336. 14:57biomes. The temperature gradient in a
  337. 14:59world is smooth. And what that means is
  338. 15:01that biomes like to generate next to
  339. 15:03other biomes with a similar temperature
  340. 15:06value. So warm next to warm, cold next
  341. 15:08to cold. Now look at Hummer [snorts]
  342. 15:10screenshot. A cold ocean biome with this
  343. 15:13temperature [music] right next to a
  344. 15:15coral reef with this temperature. That
  345. 15:18should be impossible. The temperatures
  346. 15:20are too far apart to ever generate
  347. 15:22together, and the screenshot must have
  348. 15:24been faked. But to go through all the
  349. 15:26effort to build two fake biomes right
  350. 15:29next to each other, no one just does
  351. 15:31that and expects nothing out of it. So,
  352. 15:33I wanted to see why did this random
  353. 15:36person on the forums lie so subtly.
  354. 15:41>> I mean, they are my screenshots. I I
  355. 15:43mean, I didn't fake them,
  356. 15:46>> right?
  357. 15:48Well, if you don't want to tell me,
  358. 15:50that's fine. But I have other stuff I
  359. 15:52got to get to, so I might just
  360. 15:56disconnect. And yeah. Okay. Wait, wait,
  361. 15:59wait. Don't go. Okay. I faked the
  362. 16:01screenshot. All right. I I admit it.
  363. 16:04>> Okay. Why? Why'd you fake them? I mean I
  364. 16:08mean because I was waiting for something
  365. 16:09like this to happen. So I I've been
  366. 16:11looking for somebody who cares about
  367. 16:13finding Levi and Okay. Here. Follow me.
  368. 16:18Okay,
  369. 16:19>> look, everyone on Reddit, on the forums,
  370. 16:22everywhere, they always fall for the
  371. 16:23spectacle, the idea of the Leviathan, a
  372. 16:26supernatural creature living in their
  373. 16:27world, but nobody really thinks about
  374. 16:31how to find it. Nobody thinks about what
  375. 16:33it might be. And like, yeah, sure, some
  376. 16:34do for like a second, but never really
  377. 16:36enough to consider all of the evidence.
  378. 16:38They're always so pigeonhold by only
  379. 16:40believing what they've seen with their
  380. 16:41own two eyes. And you know, as we both
  381. 16:43know, it's probably some guardian or, I
  382. 16:46don't know, drowned. Clearly, you not
  383. 16:48only noticed something about my
  384. 16:49screenshot that was wrong, but you've
  385. 16:50cared enough to ask me why it was fake.
  386. 16:52That's the kind of person I'm looking
  387. 16:54for. Someone that looks at the details,
  388. 16:56understands, and acts on them. So, uh,
  389. 17:00what's mine is now yours. Every single
  390. 17:03bit of research I've done on the
  391. 17:04Leviathan is here.
  392. 17:08>> So, the screenshot was was a test.
  393. 17:12sort of. Yeah.
  394. 17:14>> Uhhuh. And every one of these books is a
  395. 17:19different report.
  396. 17:20>> Yeah. Reports. Yeah. Someone made 689
  397. 17:23of reports about the Leviathan. The
  398. 17:25oldest one dating back to 2024. Here.
  399. 17:28>> 2024. That's That's way earlier than my
  400. 17:30earliest.
  401. 17:32>> Yeah, I'd hope so. I mean, it's taken me
  402. 17:34half a year to get all this together. I
  403. 17:36know more about the Leviathan than
  404. 17:38anyone else in Minecraft. And uh I'm
  405. 17:41certain that if we work together, we can
  406. 17:44find it.
  407. 17:47>> This is really impressive.
  408. 17:49Why do you need someone else, though?
  409. 17:51Why do you need me?
  410. 17:52>> Well, I mean, even my information isn't
  411. 17:56perfect. I bet you've dug up some
  412. 17:57information I haven't found. And there's
  413. 18:00certain things I want to try that need
  414. 18:02two people. And, you know, information
  415. 18:05is only half the battle,
  416. 18:06>> right? I've only like kind of seen Levi
  417. 18:10and facts are only facts and all of this
  418. 18:13information. You have to be able to
  419. 18:15interpret it.
  420. 18:15>> Wait, sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry,
  421. 18:17sorry, sorry. You said you've kind of
  422. 18:19seen the Leviathan.
  423. 18:22>> Kind of. Seen is a strong word, but I've
  424. 18:24felt him.
  425. 18:25>> Him?
  426. 18:27>> Him? It Listen,
  427. 18:30I can take you there, but it's up to
  428. 18:33you.
  429. 18:36>> What? You can take me to to feel the
  430. 18:38Leviathan.
  431. 18:39>> To the Leviathan? Yeah. But it's up to
  432. 18:42you.
  433. 18:43>> Yeah. Wait, 100%. If you can, that'd be
  434. 18:45great. I would love to.
  435. 18:46>> Let's get going before the sun sets. Uh,
  436. 18:48I've got a boat and it will go out to my
  437. 18:50ship.
  438. 18:53>> It's actually a pretty cool ship. Did
  439. 18:55you build it yourself?
  440. 18:56>> Oh, no. I just thought it from a YouTube
  441. 18:58tutorial. [laughter]
  442. 18:59>> I respect it. I mean, it looks pretty
  443. 19:01good, so whatever you did worked.
  444. 19:03>> Okay, we are here now. So, are we going
  445. 19:05to see this thing?
  446. 19:07>> Uh, yeah. But first, let's go to sleep.
  447. 19:09Um, I've got beds in this chest here.
  448. 19:10>> Is there a reason we're doing this in
  449. 19:12survival, by the way, and not in
  450. 19:13creative? I feel like it's just easier
  451. 19:14to look around without worrying about
  452. 19:16dying.
  453. 19:17>> Well, I mean, I don't think Levi really
  454. 19:18wants to be found in creative. Like,
  455. 19:20think about it. Do you want to be found
  456. 19:21by somebody that's flying around?
  457. 19:23They're immortal. It just doesn't make
  458. 19:24sense, does it?
  459. 19:26>> I mean,
  460. 19:28do you think Levi wants to be found? And
  461. 19:31he isn't just part of the game. I'm
  462. 19:33like, can it want anything?
  463. 19:35>> Okay, I mean, listen, you can do you or
  464. 19:37whatever, but you know, you're on my
  465. 19:39turf. And the way it's usually found, I
  466. 19:41think it's 98 and a half% of all
  467. 19:44accounts of Levi, they're found in
  468. 19:46survival. So, you know, you can fly
  469. 19:48around and be immortal. You can, you
  470. 19:49have the choice. You can do it the easy
  471. 19:51way or you can do it the right way.
  472. 19:53>> Okay. Yeah, we can do it in survival.
  473. 19:55That's fine.
  474. 19:56>> Okay. Lovely. Uh, take this tropical
  475. 19:58fish, by the way.
  476. 19:58>> Thank you.
  477. 19:59>> Um, okay. So, first of all, like open up
  478. 20:01your F3 menu.
  479. 20:02>> Mhm.
  480. 20:04>> Can you see everything? Like all of that
  481. 20:05clutter? Everything?
  482. 20:07>> Yes. Yeah.
  483. 20:08>> Okay. So, when you're finding Levi, you
  484. 20:09do not want that in your face, but
  485. 20:11there's some really important things you
  486. 20:12need to keep track of. So, we're going
  487. 20:13to just clear all of that and keep a few
  488. 20:15things.
  489. 20:15>> All right. Sounds good.
  490. 20:17>> Okay. Sweet. So, press F3 and F6.
  491. 20:19>> Yep. Okay. I'm pretty sure I have
  492. 20:22everything.
  493. 20:23>> Okay. Nice. Well, I'll run through
  494. 20:25everything quickly just so you know and
  495. 20:26you got the grasp of it. Yeah.
  496. 20:27>> Um, firstly, like FPS and memory. you
  497. 20:30can see them on the left hand side. Uh
  498. 20:31if your FPS drops or your memory spikes,
  499. 20:34that means something very big has
  500. 20:35happened in the server and you just need
  501. 20:38to flag that and try to find out what's
  502. 20:39changed.
  503. 20:40>> Yes. Okay, sounds good.
  504. 20:41>> Talking about the entity side of stuff,
  505. 20:43people always think all the false
  506. 20:44reports are always about them being
  507. 20:46drowned or guardians and thinking
  508. 20:47they're lever. You got to make sure what
  509. 20:48you're looking at is not that. So if you
  510. 20:50look at your entity render stats, uh if
  511. 20:53you look at me, it should say for
  512. 20:54targeted entity player,
  513. 20:56>> right? It does.
  514. 20:57>> Another thing as well is entity counter.
  515. 20:58If you look in the top left, it says
  516. 21:00zero out of two entities. Those two
  517. 21:02entities are you and me. There should be
  518. 21:04no other entities that spawn in this
  519. 21:06sea. Okay. So, if for some reason that
  520. 21:08says zero out of three, there's
  521. 21:10something else here. You need to find
  522. 21:12out where it is and what it is. Use the
  523. 21:15targeted entity to find out what it's
  524. 21:16called.
  525. 21:17>> Mhm.
  526. 21:18>> And take a screenshot, flag it, and
  527. 21:20return.
  528. 21:20>> Okay, that sounds good. That makes
  529. 21:21sense.
  530. 21:22>> The final thing is entity hitboxes. I
  531. 21:24give you that fish, right?
  532. 21:25>> Yes.
  533. 21:26>> Okay, put it in there. If you can see,
  534. 21:28there's a big sort of white box around
  535. 21:29it.
  536. 21:30>> Yeah. Yeah.
  537. 21:31>> So, this ocean, especially further down,
  538. 21:33it gets pretty dark. It's pretty hard to
  539. 21:35find an entity. If, for whatever reason,
  540. 21:37that entity counter in your top left
  541. 21:39goes up to zero out of three, like it is
  542. 21:41right now. You need to try to find a
  543. 21:43white bright box and go towards it.
  544. 21:45That's the easiest way you're going to
  545. 21:46find an entity.
  546. 21:47>> Okay, that Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I
  547. 21:49think I am ready.
  548. 21:51>> Nice. It's time.
  549. 21:53>> We're going down.
  550. 21:55>> Uh, yes. Actually, one more thing. Uh,
  551. 21:56turn on subtitles. That's really
  552. 21:58important. There's some really quiet
  553. 21:59noises in there. You need to know what
  554. 22:00they're called.
  555. 22:00>> Good idea.
  556. 22:01>> All right. Subtitles are on.
  557. 22:02>> You ready?
  558. 22:03>> Yes.
  559. 22:03>> Okay. There is a farm over there, by the
  560. 22:04way, if you need any food.
  561. 22:06>> Okay. Thank you.
  562. 22:08>> Okay. Nice. Uh, this is it. This will
  563. 22:09take you down.
  564. 22:11>> You're not coming with me.
  565. 22:12>> No. So, uh, no, I'm not. Get in.
  566. 22:14>> Okay.
  567. 22:16Uh, okay. Now you've got water
  568. 22:18breathing. Yeah. Keep going. Going. Uh,
  569. 22:20if you check your inventory, it should
  570. 22:21say in the top right how much time
  571. 22:23you've got. Once that goes down to 10
  572. 22:24seconds, I'm going to call this back up.
  573. 22:26Okay. You've got that long to go down
  574. 22:28there and explore and try to find Levi.
  575. 22:30You do you have any questions? No. Okay.
  576. 22:32Lovely. See you soon. I'll be back with
  577. 22:34like a minute left.
  578. 22:44[music]
  579. 22:49Heat. [music]
  580. 23:06[music] Heat.
  581. 25:04Wow.
  582. 25:07All
  583. 25:27right.
  584. 25:49Oh shoot. 1 minute left. I got to head
  585. 25:52back.
  586. 26:15Hello.
  587. 26:43I'm going to drown.
  588. 27:02Did you see anything?
  589. 27:04I When I got back, the flying machine
  590. 27:06was gone. I came back with like a minute
  591. 27:08left and I just drowned. Did you mispull
  592. 27:10it or something? Did you pull it early?
  593. 27:12>> No, I pulled it early. Yeah. But did you
  594. 27:14say anything?
  595. 27:16>> Was I supposed to? I I just ended up
  596. 27:18drowning. Why did you like Why would you
  597. 27:20pull it early? I just died for like no
  598. 27:22reason. I
  599. 27:23>> I mean, I don't know. This It sounds a
  600. 27:26bit weird, but I've got this theory.
  601. 27:28Okay. Do you remember what I said about
  602. 27:29all the people trying to find Levi and
  603. 27:31they're doing it the wrong way?
  604. 27:33>> Yeah. In the Reddit post, right?
  605. 27:35>> Yeah. I I don't think Levi wants to be
  606. 27:37found [music] with flying machines or
  607. 27:39water breathing or fancy museum
  608. 27:41exhibits. I think he just wants you to
  609. 27:43believe.
  610. 27:45>> Sorry. Can you explain what you mean?
  611. 27:49>> I mean, you have to believe that the
  612. 27:50Leviathan will come to you. If you leave
  613. 27:52yourself open and have faith, I think
  614. 27:56Levi would show himself.
  615. 27:58>> So, you just to make sure I get it. You
  616. 28:00pulled the flying machine early so that
  617. 28:02I would drown because then I'd be what?
  618. 28:04Like more vulnerable for the Leviathan
  619. 28:07and it would show itself.
  620. 28:11Yeah, sort of. Yeah. I mean, but he
  621. 28:14didn't, did he?
  622. 28:16>> No. I mean, the entity counter moved,
  623. 28:18but I didn't see anything.
  624. 28:20>> I mean, that makes sense. I mean, maybe
  625. 28:22it's because I let you drown that Levi
  626. 28:24knew that I was trying to
  627. 28:25>> Well, look, I don't want to sound rude.
  628. 28:26Listen,
  629. 28:28um, I don't know if I agree that the
  630. 28:32Leviathan
  631. 28:34cares about what we do, per se. Like
  632. 28:38there are definitely better and worse
  633. 28:39ways to go about finding it, but it's
  634. 28:42still just code in a game, right? Like
  635. 28:46it can't read our thoughts or anything
  636. 28:48like that. You know what I mean?
  637. 28:51I mean, you really believe that? I mean,
  638. 28:55you managed to look past what everyone
  639. 28:57else had said about Levi.
  640. 28:59You're the only other person who knew
  641. 29:01that they were all wrong. And like deep
  642. 29:03down there's more to Levi than just some
  643. 29:06stupid open andsh shut case.
  644. 29:09>> Wait, sorry. Who is wrong?
  645. 29:13>> I mean, where to start? I mean, Aronax,
  646. 29:17first of all, I mean, there's so many to
  647. 29:19go through. I don't know
  648. 29:20>> who who Aronax.
  649. 29:24Am I supposed to know who he is?
  650. 29:28Who she is?
  651. 29:30>> Sorry. Is she Am I supposed to know who
  652. 29:32she is?
  653. 29:35>> I mean, the mystery solver. I mean, kind
  654. 29:38of mystery solver. Basically, she's the
  655. 29:41one with the server. She claims to have
  656. 29:43solved the Leviathan. I mean, that's the
  657. 29:45one that everyone takes her word for.
  658. 29:47And I mean,
  659. 29:49now it's done. I mean, there's nothing
  660. 29:50to it, apparently.
  661. 29:53>> What?
  662. 29:56I know.
  663. 29:57>> No, I mean, like, I've What? What
  664. 29:59server? I've never heard of this server.
  665. 30:01Should I know what this is?
  666. 30:04>> What? But you actually don't you don't
  667. 30:06know what server I'm talking about. You
  668. 30:08said there's this person called Arinax
  669. 30:10who solved the Leviathan and put it on a
  670. 30:12server.
  671. 30:14>> Yes, the Leviathan server.
  672. 30:17>> I've never I've never heard of it. Is
  673. 30:19this like something we can join? Do you
  674. 30:21have an IP for it?
  675. 30:23>> I mean, [laughter] you can literally
  676. 30:24look up Leviathan Minecraft servers.
  677. 30:26That'll be the top result.
  678. 30:27>> I mean, so why don't we join? I feel it
  679. 30:28be something good to check out if she
  680. 30:30says that she solved it, right?
  681. 30:32>> I mean, yeah, sure. You can go.
  682. 30:34>> What? You're not coming?
  683. 30:38>> I mean,
  684. 30:40I guess I guess sure. Yeah.
  685. 30:43>> Okay. So, if I just look up Leviathan
  686. 30:45server, I'll get the IP and we can go
  687. 30:47on.
  688. 30:48>> Yeah. Aaron should be there. Yeah.
  689. 30:50>> I'll be there in like five minutes then.
  690. 30:51I'll see you there.
  691. 30:52>> Yeah. Yeah. Sweet. All right. Cool.
  692. 30:54>> Okay. I'll see you in five. Bye. Yeah.
  693. 31:03Whoa.
  694. 31:05Oh, there's a ton of people online as
  695. 31:07well.
  696. 31:08>> Hello.
  697. 31:10Hey.
  698. 31:10>> Hello. Dude, this place is insane. Like,
  699. 31:13this is actually [laughter]
  700. 31:14ridiculously well built.
  701. 31:17>> You've been here before, right?
  702. 31:19>> Uh, yeah. I You know, you got to scout
  703. 31:21out your competition, but I mean, it's
  704. 31:22nothing to write home about.
  705. 31:24I mean, it's way better than I could do.
  706. 31:26Okay. Anyway, anyway, what do we do
  707. 31:28here? Like, this thing says press me.
  708. 31:30So, do we just like listen?
  709. 31:32>> It's not important. We can just go
  710. 31:33straight down. It's
  711. 31:34>> Are you sure? Like,
  712. 31:37>> okay.
  713. 31:37>> Welcome to the Areronax Museum. All the
  714. 31:40research I've done about the Leviathan
  715. 31:42is right here in the biggest, most
  716. 31:44complete investigation ever conducted.
  717. 31:47There are over 700 documented reports of
  718. 31:49the Leviathan. But instead of having to
  719. 31:51find all of that on your own, it is now
  720. 31:54all yours, summarized in our special
  721. 31:56exhibits. Just hit a jukebox and audio
  722. 31:59will play telling you anything and
  723. 32:02everything about the Leviathan, like
  724. 32:04what biomes it has been seen in, what
  725. 32:06people commonly mistake it as, and even
  726. 32:09what it actually is. And if you want to
  727. 32:12explore for yourself, you can take our
  728. 32:14tunnels and water lanterns to see the
  729. 32:16ocean firsthand and hopefully catch a
  730. 32:19glimpse of the elusive Leviathan. Just
  731. 32:22be careful. The server is in hardcore
  732. 32:25mode. So, whatever you do, don't die,
  733. 32:28have fun, and keep searching.
  734. 32:30>> This place is nuts. I mean, so what do
  735. 32:33we do? We just got to we got to find
  736. 32:34these note blocks, right, to listen to.
  737. 32:37You coming?
  738. 32:37>> Uh, yeah, sure. I mean, if you want to
  739. 32:40listen to notebooks, you can. That's the
  740. 32:43whole point, right? Kelp.
  741. 32:46>> In our 700 reports, about 11% of them
  742. 32:50mistook kelp as the Leviathan. In older
  743. 32:52versions of Minecraft, kelp can break
  744. 32:54and float to the surface. And at a
  745. 32:57distance, are easily the most common
  746. 33:00misreport of the Leviathan. About 20% of
  747. 33:03all Leviathan reports are guardians,
  748. 33:06especially if their tail peaks out
  749. 33:08between some kelp. It can be easy to
  750. 33:10misidentify the oceans are one of the
  751. 33:12rarest biomes to get Leviathan reports.
  752. 33:14Reason being they're one of the
  753. 33:16shallowest ocean biomes and don't have
  754. 33:19any kelp for things to hide behind.
  755. 33:21>> I mean, yeah. Like, that makes sense.
  756. 33:23That's a really good analysis. Oh, you
  757. 33:25know what? Do you know if there's any
  758. 33:27way we can get contact with Arinax?
  759. 33:29Like, I would love to ask her about all
  760. 33:31this. Like, the data is insane. Like,
  761. 33:33she could be the next person that I talk
  762. 33:34to after you. [laughter]
  763. 33:37I uh well I mean I don't know she has
  764. 33:40like a thing you can contact but I mean
  765. 33:42I don't know I can just reach out to her
  766. 33:44then. I'm surprised you hadn't reached
  767. 33:46out to her before.
  768. 33:48>> What actually is the Leviathan? If
  769. 33:51you're like me you're probably
  770. 33:52suspicious of the whole thing. I mean a
  771. 33:54monster inside of Minecraft. There's no
  772. 33:57way that actually exists, right? Well,
  773. 34:00you might not know this, but the super
  774. 34:02deep oceans at 20,000 20,000, like the
  775. 34:05one this museum is built in, have
  776. 34:07actually been identified by Mojang as
  777. 34:09just a bug in the code. Bug 373.
  778. 34:12>> I found the exact same bug, the one on
  779. 34:14the claim to see something in these
  780. 34:16waters. So, what are they seeing? A
  781. 34:19tempting theory I see a lot of is that
  782. 34:22mob A, the barnacle, is the Leviathan.
  783. 34:25Mojang used to host mob votes where the
  784. 34:27winning mob would be let into Minecraft
  785. 34:29and the losers would be scrapped. And in
  786. 34:312017, an underwater monster, Mob A, the
  787. 34:35Barnacle, lost the mob boat to the
  788. 34:37Phantom. However, losing mobs aren't
  789. 34:39scrapped forever. The Copper Golem lost
  790. 34:41the 2022 mob boat, but was added to the
  791. 34:44game a year later. Maybe the barnacles
  792. 34:47code somehow activates at low YLE
  793. 34:50oceans, which should be impossible to
  794. 34:52generate, but do happen at 20,000 20,000
  795. 34:56because of the previous bug. But I don't
  796. 34:58think that the barnacle is actually in
  797. 35:00Minecraft. In fact, I think there's a
  798. 35:02much more elegant explanation for the
  799. 35:05Leviathan. If you've ever explored the
  800. 35:07Nether, you probably noticed that gas
  801. 35:09can behave very strangely in that if
  802. 35:11they escape your line of sight, they
  803. 35:13have the tendency to just despawn, as if
  804. 35:16they never existed. Well, what if I told
  805. 35:18you that the same behavior has actually
  806. 35:20been found in guardians. It's hard to
  807. 35:22reproduce, but it is a real bug on the
  808. 35:24bug track.
  809. 35:25>> Did you know about that? That guardian
  810. 35:26bug that Wait, that's actually an insane
  811. 35:28find. How did she even find that?
  812. 35:30>> They escape your line of sight. A
  813. 35:31guardian that just swam out of sight and
  814. 35:33despawned would cause anyone to wonder
  815. 35:35what they had just seen. That's what the
  816. 35:37Leviathan is. Even if the Leviathan
  817. 35:40isn't a real monster, it's still
  818. 35:42definitely one of the most interesting
  819. 35:43Minecraft phenomenons in history. The
  820. 35:46combination of two bugs working together
  821. 35:48to create a legend.
  822. 35:53>> So, what do you think about all this?
  823. 35:56>> I mean, it's it's insanely well
  824. 35:58researched and it's pretty convincing,
  825. 36:00right? I mean, it's incredible the fact
  826. 36:02that she compiled all of this into such
  827. 36:04a digestible like data dump. I don't
  828. 36:07even know how to describe it. I mean,
  829. 36:08that that literally could be all the
  830. 36:10Leviathan is. I mean, it's just I would
  831. 36:12love to talk to her and see if I can get
  832. 36:14just any bit of her data or they're just
  833. 36:16her thoughts about the whole thing.
  834. 36:22All right, cool. Yeah, you can go do
  835. 36:24that.
  836. 36:27But like at the same time,
  837. 36:31I don't know. I think it's hard to
  838. 36:34definitively say that something doesn't
  839. 36:37exist, right? Like the the bug reports
  840. 36:39are very very good at explaining it, but
  841. 36:42it's also guardians which only spawn by
  842. 36:45ocean temples. And we there's a majority
  843. 36:47of reports which you should also know
  844. 36:48about that aren't by ocean monuments.
  845. 36:52Yeah. I don't know. I think I mean as
  846. 36:54long as you're down to look a little
  847. 36:55longer like I'll do my own my own bit of
  848. 36:59research before I fully agree with her
  849. 37:01that the Leviathan isn't real.
  850. 37:04>> Uh yeah. Yeah. I sure Hey, listen.
  851. 37:08>> Mhm.
  852. 37:09>> I don't like most of this place, but
  853. 37:10there's one thing that is impressive.
  854. 37:12You want to see it?
  855. 37:13>> One thing? Yeah, sure. I'd love to.
  856. 37:15>> What is it?
  857. 37:17>> Um I mean the commercialization of Levi,
  858. 37:20all of this. It's a bit It's not my
  859. 37:22thing, but you can't hate but love a
  860. 37:25good bit of redstone, especially when
  861. 37:26it's impressive. Okay.
  862. 37:28>> Yeah, I'm done.
  863. 37:28>> Leviathan hunters need to be able to
  864. 37:30explore [music] the ocean. And that's
  865. 37:32why we have this. This is a water
  866. 37:35lantern, a [music] custommade redstone
  867. 37:38flying machine built exactly for
  868. 37:40descending to the depths of the ocean.
  869. 37:43It works with two stations. The first
  870. 37:45receives an update that synchronizes the
  871. 37:47top of the diamond.
  872. 37:48>> Okay. Okay. It's in here. This is it.
  873. 37:50Yeah, yeah, yeah. Uh, press the, uh,
  874. 37:52note block.
  875. 37:53>> Okay,
  876. 37:54this is kind of insane.
  877. 37:56>> Press it. Press it.
  878. 38:01Holy crap. Wait, this is actually sick.
  879. 38:05>> Yeah.
  880. 38:06>> Yo, how long did this take to make?
  881. 38:09>> Hey, no, it's an impressive bit of
  882. 38:11engineering.
  883. 38:12All right, come through here.
  884. 38:15>> What? You just get to explore the
  885. 38:16outside.
  886. 38:17>> Yeah. Yeah.
  887. 38:19And there's a condo. We can't even die.
  888. 38:21This is actually so good. So, how far
  889. 38:24does this actually go? Can you just go
  890. 38:25like the entire way out?
  891. 38:27>> It's about uh 2,000 by 2,000. It's ced
  892. 38:30off. Yeah, they don't they don't really
  893. 38:32let you leave. Um and also the conduit,
  894. 38:34you'll end up drowning. We're stuck in
  895. 38:35adventure mode.
  896. 38:37>> True.
  897. 38:38[music]
  898. 38:44>> [music]
  899. 38:52>> So, what do you think we should do now?
  900. 38:56I mean, have we seen all there is to see
  901. 38:58in this place or is there anything else?
  902. 39:01>> I don't think [snorts] there's anything
  903. 39:02else. Most of this place, you know, you
  904. 39:05see the glass, you see like the
  905. 39:07guardians, and that's about it. Wait,
  906. 39:10wait, wait. Hm.
  907. 39:13>> There's a Nether portal.
  908. 39:16>> Uh, no, there isn't.
  909. 39:18>> Wait, no. Come here. Come here. Come to
  910. 39:19where I'm standing. [music]
  911. 39:21>> There's just a Nether portal on the
  912. 39:23other side of that wall.
  913. 39:28>> Why is there
  914. 39:29>> Why Why is it blocked off?
  915. 39:30>> Yeah.
  916. 39:38>> Yeah. You can't You can't see it from
  917. 39:39down here.
  918. 39:41Why is that there? Do you think anyone's
  919. 39:43just No one's noticed it?
  920. 39:46>> No, I mean you can't see it from here.
  921. 39:49Ah, how do you get through?
  922. 39:52>> You're probably not supposed to, right?
  923. 39:53We can't break any blocks.
  924. 39:56If we got onto that pipe, then we could
  925. 39:58parkour in, I think. But
  926. 40:02>> yeah, maybe parkouring.
  927. 40:05>> There's no good way to get there. Just
  928. 40:07do this.
  929. 40:10Now you just can't get anywhere.
  930. 40:12>> No, I don't think there's anything you
  931. 40:13can do. Unless there really is.
  932. 40:16>> I mean, even if you get there, where are
  933. 40:18you going to go?
  934. 40:20>> Yeah.
  935. 40:23>> Can you go anywhere from here? Is this
  936. 40:26possible? Oh,
  937. 40:30low key.
  938. 40:32Okay, now you can definitely make that.
  939. 40:34Try that.
  940. 40:35>> Yeah. Yeah, it's okay. You're going to
  941. 40:36get better at parkour.
  942. 40:38>> Okay. Oh, okay. [laughter]
  943. 40:41>> Oh, wait. That's actually a good idea,
  944. 40:42though.
  945. 40:44Oh, you can make that. Oh, nice. Nice.
  946. 40:47No. Where do we go from here? There's
  947. 40:50just a bunch of bugged fences, so we
  948. 40:51can't even like Can we get to the other
  949. 40:54side?
  950. 40:55>> I don't Can you go on the glass? Wait,
  951. 40:57can you go on the
  952. 40:59the left glass, right? Go on the right
  953. 41:01when you get stuck. And then you go up.
  954. 41:04Wait, it's actually maybe possible.
  955. 41:06>> Maybe. Try that. Try that. Try that.
  956. 41:09There we go.
  957. 41:10>> Oh, nice.
  958. 41:11>> And then you go into the fence and then
  959. 41:14and then you can actually get up.
  960. 41:18>> Wait, why is this actually possible?
  961. 41:23>> Oh, wait a second.
  962. 41:24>> There's
  963. 41:25I've never seen the reason for red
  964. 41:27parkour.
  965. 41:33You really think that no one that's ever
  966. 41:35logged onto the server has ever found
  967. 41:37out you could do this?
  968. 41:39I mean, yeah. I don't know why you
  969. 41:41didn't even try.
  970. 41:42>> I'm here. I'm here.
  971. 41:45>> Get down there.
  972. 41:48[laughter]
  973. 41:48This is This is not inconspicuous.
  974. 41:51>> Wait, we're actually in. You got to make
  975. 41:54this jump, though.
  976. 41:57Not that one. You go down to the pipe.
  977. 41:59Ah, let me try.
  978. 42:01Nice. Nice.
  979. 42:07>> Nice.
  980. 42:07>> So, there is no way back out, but
  981. 42:13I think it's fine. [laughter]
  982. 42:17>> What? There's literally not a single
  983. 42:18corridor. What?
  984. 42:19>> Yeah. Is this just This is just fully
  985. 42:21closed off.
  986. 42:24>> What is the point of this room? I mean,
  987. 42:27we got to go through, right?
  988. 42:31>> There's only one way out. So, don't
  989. 42:34really have a choice.
  990. 42:35>> Yeah.
  991. 42:36>> All right. After you.
  992. 42:41>> I'll see you on the other side.
  993. 42:44Don't die.
  994. 42:53>> We're on the Nether roof.
  995. 42:57>> It's a piston bolt.
  996. 42:58>> Wow. Piston bolt. Nice.
  997. 43:00It's been ridden before as well,
  998. 43:02obviously. I mean, you wouldn't make one
  999. 43:04of these unless you were going thousands
  1000. 43:06of blocks out.
  1001. 43:08>> It's headed towards 00.
1002. 43:10>> Wow. That's just takes some dedication.
  1003. 43:13This is nice.
1004. 43:15>> But why though? Like, why?
1005. 43:18>> I mean, I guess we got to ride it,
  1006. 43:19right?
1007. 43:20>> Yeah. Only one way to find out.
  1008. 43:26>> Okay.
  1009. 43:27Well,
1010. 43:28>> yeah, you go first.
  1011. 43:30All right.
  1012. 43:30>> Definitely curious.
1013. 43:32>> See you on the other side.
  1014. 43:36[music]
  1015. 43:45[music]
  1016. 44:13Heat. Hey. Hey. Hey.
  1017. 44:36Oh,
  1018. 44:38>> yep.
  1019. 44:40Negative 2500. Negative 25500. The exact
1020. 44:43opposite end of the world. Why would she
1021. 44:45build something that goes to the
1022. 44:46opposite side of the world? This far
1023. 44:48away from the ocean. Why?
  1024. 44:51>> I don't know.
  1025. 44:53>> I genuinely have no idea.
1026. 44:58>> Well, there's only one way to find out.
1027. 45:02>> Yeah. Didn't come this far to not see
  1028. 45:04something.
  1029. 45:06>> All right.
  1030. 45:14What?
  1031. 45:14>> Wait.
  1032. 45:16>> What the
  1033. 45:18>> Is this a deep ocean?
  1034. 45:20>> We're at - 20,000 20,000.
1035. 45:23How's there a deep ocean here? What?
  1036. 45:27>> I don't know.
1037. 45:29You've never heard of that, have you?
  1038. 45:31>> No.
  1039. 45:33How? How?
1040. 45:39The fact that she she didn't mention
1041. 45:40that in the museum at all, did she?
1042. 45:43>> This is I had no idea it could generate
  1043. 45:46a 20,000gative 20,000.
  1044. 45:49>> They don't they what?
  1045. 45:53What is that? It's a lighthouse.
  1046. 45:58Might have some answers.
  1047. 46:01Yeah, I don't understand. Why is this
1048. 46:03not mentioned in the museum? Why isn't
  1049. 46:04this isn't mentioned anywhere? This is a
1050. 46:06Why would you keep this a secret?
  1051. 46:09I don't know.
1052. 46:11It must have been Arinax who built this,
1053. 46:13right? Who else would have made it? It's
1054. 46:14her world. Everyone else on adventure
  1055. 46:16mode.
1056. 46:26>> Wait, there's something in the water.
  1057. 46:28>> What?
  1058. 46:29>> What's that?
1059. 46:29>> What? Wait. Like um like a mob or
  1060. 46:32>> What is that? I I I don't know. I don't
  1061. 46:34I don't know what that is. I mean,
1062. 46:35that's not natural generation. What?
1063. 46:39It's like a [music] block. What is that?
1064. 46:43>> I can check it out, right?
  1065. 46:48>> Oh, it's obsidian.
1066. 46:49>> What? Oh my god.
1067. 46:52>> Oh, water breathing. Water breathing.
  1068. 46:53Come here.
1069. 46:53>> Oh, nice. Nice. Nice.
1070. 46:57>> What is this? [music and singing] This
  1071. 46:58is
1072. 47:02>> What am I looking at? It kind of looks
1073. 47:04like one of the water lanterns, but No,
1074. 47:07I think it is just
  1075. 47:09[music] in ruins.
  1076. 47:12Oh my god.
  1077. 47:14How
1078. 47:16[music] I mean, why' you build this and
  1079. 47:19mess it up? Why?
  1080. 47:22What?
  1081. 47:24[music]
  1082. 47:26I This clearly doesn't work, right?
  1083. 47:28Yeah. There's holes everywhere.
1084. 47:31>> I know. This is nothing but the one in
  1085. 47:32the museum.
1086. 47:34>> Is that it? Is it just
  1087. 47:35>> No, there's something else. There's
1088. 47:36something else. Something else right
  1089. 47:37there.
  1090. 47:37>> What?
  1091. 47:38>> The that way.
  1092. 47:40>> Oh, yeah. I see. I see. I see.
1093. 47:43>> What happened here? [music]
  1094. 47:49>> This doesn't even look like a finished
  1095. 47:50build. What is this?
  1096. 47:53I have no idea.
  1097. 47:57>> I just
1098. 47:58I don't know if this makes sense.
1099. 48:09Why build all of this
  1100. 48:12[music]
1101. 48:14but then not like mention it to anyone?
  1102. 48:16Cuz I take you weren't supposed to be
1103. 48:18here, were we? It was blocked off.
  1104. 48:23Is there anything else?
1105. 48:25>> I don't know. Uh, okay. You You just
1106. 48:28check further. I'm going to check the
  1107. 48:29coast. in there.
  1108. 48:32[music]
1109. 48:33>> Yeah, I'll call you over if I see
  1110. 48:35anything.
1111. 48:36>> I'll let you know as well.
  1112. 48:46I found something.
1113. 48:50>> Come here. Come here. Uh just kind of
1114. 48:52where the base was. Just come. Yeah.
1115. 48:55Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Just come this
  1116. 48:58barrel.
  1117. 49:10Check this out.
  1118. 49:15My regards.
  1119. 49:24This world is special.
1120. 49:27It has a deep ocean at both positive
  1121. 49:3020,000 20,000 and negative 20,000
  1122. 49:3520,000. I thought that maybe I had
1123. 49:39missed something, that maybe the
  1124. 49:41Leviathan wasn't just a bug, that there
1125. 49:45was something more to it all. I I wanted
  1126. 49:48to find it.
1127. 49:51I wanted to be the one to say I found
1128. 49:54the Leviathan. to be the one to end the
1129. 49:56mystery once and for all. Then I could
1130. 50:00be one of those great [music] detectives
1131. 50:02you hear about in legends. I had thought
1132. 50:05that maybe the Leviathan was more than
1133. 50:08people said it was and it didn't want to
1134. 50:12be found by exploring the whole ocean
1135. 50:15and creative that no one would ever see
  1136. 50:19it walking through my tunnels. That's
1137. 50:22why this server is in hardcore mode. I
1138. 50:25hoped that if I called out, the
1139. 50:27Leviathan might answer. If I came to
1140. 50:31this ocean and looked for it alone,
1141. 50:33maybe it would show itself to me.
1142. 50:36I wanted so badly to see it.
  1143. 50:41But the Leviathan doesn't exist.
1144. 50:46I was right. It really is just a bug.
1145. 50:51As much as I wanted to prove myself
  1146. 50:54wrong,
  1147. 50:56I can't.
  1148. 50:58There is no Leviathan.
  1149. 51:02There never was.
  1150. 51:38So, this is like a base
  1151. 51:42that she used
1152. 51:44while I guess she was [music] searching
  1153. 51:45this area.
  1154. 51:47I mean, that's wild. I guess that's why
1155. 51:49she didn't tell anyone about this place,
  1156. 51:52given that
1157. 51:54we weren't even meant to find it.
1158. 51:58What are you looking for?
  1159. 52:00I
  1160. 52:01>> I'm trying to find a reason.
1161. 52:03>> What do you mean a reason?
  1162. 52:06>> Like
1163. 52:08I mean the reason why why she couldn't
  1164. 52:10find Levi.
  1165. 52:15Right.
  1166. 52:18A reason other than I don't know. It
1167. 52:21really was a bug and she was right.
1168. 52:24>> Wait. Come here. Come up here. Come.
1169. 52:25What? Whoa. What? Is there something?
1170. 52:27>> Think so. Come, come, come quick.
  1171. 52:30>> Wait, what'd you find? I didn't even
1172. 52:31realize this place was here. [music]
  1173. 52:33>> Look at this.
  1174. 52:35>> Look at
  1175. 52:35>> potions.
1176. 52:37Uh-huh. Up here. Look. Water [music]
  1177. 52:39breathing.
  1178. 52:39>> Mhm.
1179. 52:40>> Night vision. Look at that. Just
  1180. 52:42everything to make potions.
1181. 52:44This is why. This is the reason.
  1182. 52:48>> The reason that
  1183. 52:49>> nice.
  1184. 52:50>> What?
  1185. 52:51>> I mean the reason she couldn't find
  1186. 52:52Levi.
  1187. 52:55potions.
  1188. 52:56Water breathing. I mean, night vision.
  1189. 53:01Nice. All right. Well, that's that
  1190. 53:03figured, isn't it?
1191. 53:04>> Wait, sorry. What do you mean she
1192. 53:06couldn't find it because of the potions?
1193. 53:09Are there water breathing down there,
1194. 53:10weren't there in the barrel?
1195. 53:12>> Yeah, that's true as well. I mean, you
1196. 53:14know what I said about believing in
  1197. 53:16Levi? [music]
  1198. 53:18>> She clearly didn't believe water
  1199. 53:20breathing. And then that that's not
1200. 53:21putting your faith into Levi. I mean,
1201. 53:23that's the difference between us and
1202. 53:25her. [music] That's the reason why she
1203. 53:28couldn't find it and we can
1204. 53:32>> was because she used potions.
  1205. 53:35She didn't put her faith in Levi. That's
  1206. 53:37why. [music]
  1207. 53:41You don't think that
1208. 53:43there's a chance that she was right
1209. 53:46and that as crazy as it is that an ocean
  1210. 53:48generate that negative negative
  1211. 53:51Leviathan really is just a combination
  1212. 53:53of two bugs.
  1213. 53:55[music]
  1214. 53:58It is just a game.
  1215. 54:02No.
1216. 54:04Listen, do you trust me?
  1217. 54:08Why?
  1218. 54:10[music]
  1219. 54:11>> Okay.
  1220. 54:14Uh, grab a water breathing potion. I'll
  1221. 54:17take one as well.
  1222. 54:20>> Okay.
1223. 54:21>> Okay. Listen, this might sound weird,
1224. 54:24but you know, just trust me. All right.
  1225. 54:28I've got a plan.
  1226. 54:30>> What's the plan?
  1227. 54:36That is a horrible idea. I actually
1228. 54:40respectfully do not think that would
  1229. 54:41work at all.
1230. 54:43>> Hey man, when have I ever done you
  1231. 54:44wrong?
1232. 54:45>> Literally, this is exactly what we did
1233. 54:47last time. This is exactly what you did
1234. 54:49on your world and I drowned. Like,
1235. 54:51what's the difference between that and
  1236. 54:52now?
  1237. 54:54[music]
1238. 54:56>> Now you trust me.
1239. 54:59>> Sorry. Can you like explain why is this
1240. 55:01time different? Why is it that drowning
  1241. 55:05wi willingly
1242. 55:06>> is gonna bring Leviathan?
1243. 55:08>> You realize the server is in parkour
1244. 55:10mode, right? If if we die, on the
1245. 55:12server, we can never log in again.
1246. 55:14>> Yeah. Yeah. Listen, we've never done
  1247. 55:16this in a negative 20,000 bygative
  1248. 55:1820,000 ocean. I didn't even know that
  1249. 55:19was a thing until about like 10 minutes
  1250. 55:21ago.
  1251. 55:22>> Yeah, I get that. I'm sure
1252. 55:23>> this ocean is special. And Aronax didn't
  1253. 55:26know that. I mean, she didn't even think
  1254. 55:27about She's been using potions this
  1255. 55:29whole time.
1256. 55:29>> And what are we doing? Aren't we using
  1257. 55:30water breathing?
1258. 55:33Yeah, for about 2 minutes more and then
  1259. 55:36nothing.
1260. 55:37>> So, just so I understand, we're going to
  1261. 55:40willingly drown because we're not going
1262. 55:43to drown and the Leviathan is going to
  1263. 55:44save us.
1264. 55:47>> I mean, maybe save us, but we might
  1265. 55:50catch.
1266. 55:52>> Hey, listen. Put your faith in Levi and
1267. 55:55you'll be all good. It's that simple.
1268. 55:58You put your faith in me. You're here
  1269. 55:59right now.
1270. 56:01And I put my faith in you. That's why
  1271. 56:03you're here.
1272. 56:06>> Again, this is You really think this is
1273. 56:10going to work? Because I remind you,
1274. 56:12this is a game. And if we die on this
1275. 56:14server, we cannot log back in. All the
1276. 56:16research that we have access to is
  1277. 56:18literally gone.
  1278. 56:23>> I don't know. I think it's worth the
  1279. 56:25risk. That's what I think. You think or
  1280. 56:28you know I'm and I can just I I don't
  1281. 56:30know is not convincing.
  1282. 56:32>> You're welcome. You're welcome not to do
  1283. 56:34this. You You're here by choice. I
1284. 56:36thought you wanted to look for Lea. I
1285. 56:38thought you said there's some holes in
  1286. 56:39Alex's plans.
  1287. 56:40>> I I still think there I I want to look
1288. 56:42for myself, but this is not how I think
  1289. 56:43of looking for it.
1290. 56:48>> Oh yeah, it's starting to get deeper.
  1291. 56:49>> I have 40 seconds of water breathing.
1292. 56:50Are we going to do something or no?
1293. 56:54>> Trust the process. It's that simple,
  1294. 56:56man.
  1295. 56:5830 seconds.
  1296. 56:59>> Yeah,
  1297. 57:01>> 30 seconds.
  1298. 57:20Should I trust you?
  1299. 57:25>> Yeah.
  1300. 57:34I trust you.
  1301. 57:46What the?
  1302. 57:55You cannot be.
  1303. 58:01So what happened?
1304. 58:04>> What do you mean,
1305. 58:07bro? We died. Like why
1306. 58:11did you why did you suggest that?
1307. 58:14>> I mean did you think I suggested it
1308. 58:15think it was going to fail?
1309. 58:17>> Well, I thought you suggested it without
  1310. 58:19thinking at all. I don't know. Like it's
  1311. 58:21happened twice now. It's happened twice
1312. 58:24that you've told me to drown and and now
1313. 58:27I'm banned. [music] Literally the server
1314. 58:28with perhaps the most information on the
1315. 58:30Leviathan ever recorded is now
1316. 58:32completely gone and we died for pretty
1317. 58:35much no reason. You know, I had a hunch
1318. 58:37that was going to happen and I could
  1319. 58:38have saved myself. I had a water
1320. 58:40breathing potion, but you know, I chose
1321. 58:42not to throw it because I trusted
  1322. 58:43[music] you.
1323. 58:45You had an extra potion.
1324. 58:48>> Yeah, I grabbed one from the barrel
  1325. 58:49[music] just in case, but I didn't use
  1326. 58:51it. But that's why it didn't work.
1327. 58:54>> What do you mean that's why it didn't
  1328. 58:55work?
1329. 58:56>> What did I say? You have to believe. I
1330. 58:59like Levi. Levi won't come out if you
1331. 59:01don't believe. You had an extra
  1332. 59:02breathing potion on you.
  1333. 59:03>> I did believe. I didn't throw it. I
  1334. 59:05didn't throw it.
1335. 59:06>> So what if you if you could have saved
  1336. 59:08yourself? It means you're not holding
  1337. 59:10back and you didn't have faith,
  1338. 59:12>> bro. I genuinely like I don't know what
  1339. 59:14you want me to say. I had Yeah, I had a
  1340. 59:16water breathing potion, but I didn't
  1341. 59:17throw it cuz I believed. I tried to
1342. 59:20trust you and then nothing happened. I
1343. 59:21died. Like it was it was for nothing.
1344. 59:23What does it matter if I believe? You
1345. 59:24realize this is just a game, right? Like
1346. 59:26the Leviathan, if it is real, which is a
1347. 59:29big if at this point, it is a
1348. 59:31combination of two bugs. Arinax was
  1349. 59:33probably right. Like I don't think the
  1350. 59:35Leviathan cares if I have faith. Don't
1351. 59:38leave. Levi cares. Levi. He cares.
  1352. 59:44[music] I just can't. Like I don't I
  1353. 59:46fundamentally don't agree. Like I don't
  1354. 59:49know how. Look, I I know you're smart.
  1355. 59:52With the exception of Arinax, I don't
  1356. 59:54think there's a single person in the
1357. 59:55world that's done as much research as
1358. 59:56you have about the Leviathan. So, you
1359. 59:59should know this more than anyone else.
1360. 1:00:02Do you have any reason to believe that
1361. 1:00:05this thing is more than just ones and
1362. 1:00:07zeros? Like, do you have any actual
1363. 1:00:08proof that shows you that Leviathan is
1364. 1:00:10more than some bug or like some hoax
1365. 1:00:13that people have just been making up? I
  1366. 1:00:16mean,
  1367. 1:00:19I
1368. 1:00:20I know what I think is right is right,
  1369. 1:00:24and that's all that matters.
  1370. 1:00:25>> How
  1371. 1:00:28I can
  1372. 1:00:30feel it.
1373. 1:00:33Great. You can feel it. So, did you feel
  1374. 1:00:35it when we drowned?
  1375. 1:00:41Okay, look, I I'm sorry. Um, it's
  1376. 1:00:44realistically it's not that big of a
1377. 1:00:45deal. We can just log on with an alt
1378. 1:00:46account. I doubt they have like IP bands
1379. 1:00:49on the server, so it doesn't matter.
  1380. 1:00:52Like, I can just log back on. It's not a
1381. 1:00:53big deal. That being said,
  1382. 1:00:58I don't know. There's one more thing I
  1383. 1:01:01want to try out.
1384. 1:01:03It's an idea I had if you want to do it
  1385. 1:01:06together. There's a lot of servers where
1386. 1:01:08people have reported sightings of
1387. 1:01:09Leviathan. Um, a lot of hardcore servers
1388. 1:01:12actually that have abnormally large
1389. 1:01:15numbers of reports given how big the
1390. 1:01:18server is. So, I was thinking of logging
1391. 1:01:20on to one of them and just seeing what
1392. 1:01:23the players there are saying.
1393. 1:01:26>> Okay, sure. I mean, yeah. Let's go to
1394. 1:01:29another server. I mean, what do you want
1395. 1:01:30to start with? The Which one?
1396. 1:01:32>> The one with the most reports is like
1397. 1:01:36kind of obviously the biggest hardcore
  1398. 1:01:38Minecraft server. But long story, I'm
  1399. 1:01:41banned from that one. But there's
1400. 1:01:42another good one that we can join. It
1401. 1:01:44has only like a couple hundred players,
1402. 1:01:46but it has a lot of reports, like way
1403. 1:01:48more than other servers do
1404. 1:01:49proportionally. So, I think we can just
  1405. 1:01:51join that one.
  1406. 1:01:54>> I'll send you the IP.
  1407. 1:01:55>> Okay. just email.
1408. 1:01:57>> Yeah, sure. Yeah, send it over. I'll
  1409. 1:01:58I'll see you there.
1410. 1:01:59>> Okay, perfect. I'll see you there.
1411. 1:02:01>> Oh, uh, also, yeah. Um,
  1412. 1:02:03>> what?
1413. 1:02:03>> Sorry about lashing out.
  1414. 1:02:06>> No, I'm sorry, too. Like, I don't know
  1415. 1:02:08why I'm getting mad. It's literally just
  1416. 1:02:09a game. Like, no, I'm I'm sorry. Like,
1417. 1:02:13we're we're fine. If I ever want to log
  1418. 1:02:14on to Aronax's world again, I can just I
1419. 1:02:17can just get an alt. It's not that big
  1420. 1:02:18of a deal.
  1421. 1:02:20>> Oh, good.
  1422. 1:02:21>> I I do apologize.
  1423. 1:02:22>> Yeah, I'm sorry, too.
1424. 1:02:24>> Okay. Well, I'll send you the IP and
1425. 1:02:26I'll see you on the the server. Okay.
1426. 1:02:27>> All right. Sweet. Yeah.
1427. 1:02:29>> All right. See you there.
1428. 1:02:34>> So, wait. Sorry. What's the plan?
1429. 1:02:37>> Well, like I said, this server has a
  1430. 1:02:40very, very high disproportionately
1431. 1:02:43high number of reports of the Leviathan
1432. 1:02:46compared to how many players actually
1433. 1:02:48play on here. Like maybe it really is
1434. 1:02:50just they all bandit together for some
1435. 1:02:51sort of massive hoax. But I think it
1436. 1:02:54would be cool just to check out their
1437. 1:02:57ocean and see if you can find anything.
  1438. 1:02:59If not, it's like
1439. 1:03:00>> it might be the last thing I have before
  1440. 1:03:03I
  1441. 1:03:03>> conclude it. But
  1442. 1:03:05>> Oh. Oh, really?
  1443. 1:03:07>> Yeah. I don't know. I This is the last
1444. 1:03:09good idea I had. You said you knew how
1445. 1:03:10to build a an underwater flying machine,
  1446. 1:03:12right? A submarine.
1447. 1:03:13>> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Easily. If
1448. 1:03:15you give me the resources, I can do it
1449. 1:03:16easily. And there it is. 20k village.
1450. 1:03:22>> How are you going to get the resources?
1451. 1:03:24You need to build it.
1452. 1:03:27>> How do you feel about stealing?
1453. 1:03:32>> Uh, hey, if it gets the job done.
1454. 1:03:35>> Okay. Okay. Okay. Good. [laughter] Like
1455. 1:03:37it's not stealing if we give it back,
  1456. 1:03:39right? I think is we can like we'll
1457. 1:03:41borrow one of these houses probably has
1458. 1:03:44redstone stuff as long as we just kind
  1459. 1:03:46of borrow it and we'll return it. We'll
  1460. 1:03:48disassemble the submarine, right?
1461. 1:03:50>> We'll go through the ocean. If you find
1462. 1:03:52anything, we find something. If we
  1463. 1:03:53don't,
  1464. 1:03:54>> we'll give it back and that's that.
  1465. 1:03:57>> Ah, if they don't notice, it doesn't
1466. 1:03:58really matter in my books. So,
  1467. 1:04:00>> okay, perfect. Yeah, that's okay. We'll
1468. 1:04:02just got to act normal.
1469. 1:04:04>> Oh, wow. There's a lot of people here.
  1470. 1:04:06>> There are quite a few.
1471. 1:04:09Wait, can they hear us?
1472. 1:04:10>> No, no, no, no. They can't. They can't
  1473. 1:04:11hear us. We're in a closed group, so
  1474. 1:04:13>> Oh, nice. Okay,
1475. 1:04:15>> we can't hear them and they can't hear
  1476. 1:04:17us.
1477. 1:04:19>> Oh my god, I hate that skin.
1478. 1:04:21>> Like, what if this is just my house?
1479. 1:04:24>> Watch just Okay, pretend. Okay.
  1480. 1:04:27>> Oh my Whoa.
  1481. 1:04:29>> Oh, this guy's kitted. Wait, this dude's
  1482. 1:04:31actually kided out.
1483. 1:04:34>> Okay. Oh my. Yeah, we're just going to
1484. 1:04:37quick borrowing of the materials. Dude,
1485. 1:04:40this is this like unethical.
1486. 1:04:44>> Uh, just take it. Just
1487. 1:04:46>> Whoa. Whoa. Yo, WHOA, WHOA, WHOA, WHOA.
1488. 1:04:48YO. UH. HI. LOOK. UM. YO. SO, it's not
1489. 1:04:53what it looks like. Oh, he can't hear
1490. 1:04:54us. Oh my god. We're in a voice chat
  1491. 1:04:55group.
1492. 1:04:56>> Okay. All right. Leave that.
1493. 1:04:57>> Hello. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi.
1494. 1:05:00>> Dude, what are you doing? Why are you in
  1495. 1:05:01my chest?
  1496. 1:05:02>> Who are you?
1497. 1:05:04>> Okay. Wait. I we just wanted to build a
1498. 1:05:07flying machine and we wanted to borrow
1499. 1:05:09some redstone. Would it be okay if we
  1500. 1:05:11just borrow some redstone supplies? I
1501. 1:05:13mean, you know, the Leviathan, this is
1502. 1:05:14like the reason we joined the server is
1503. 1:05:16cuz of the Leviathan. Sorry, this is
  1504. 1:05:18kind of awkward.
1505. 1:05:20>> You You can't just take my stuff. Like,
1506. 1:05:22you're going to build a flying machine
  1507. 1:05:23with my supplies.
  1508. 1:05:25>> Yeah. Just I'm making a video
  1509. 1:05:27investigating the Leviathan. Okay.
1510. 1:05:28[music] I just wanted to see cuz this
1511. 1:05:30server had so many reports. I promise if
1512. 1:05:32you let us just take a few breadstone
  1513. 1:05:34supplies, I will give it back. We'll be
  1514. 1:05:35gone for 30 minutes max and we'll bring
1515. 1:05:37everything right back to you.
1516. 1:05:40>> What? What are you talking about? What
1517. 1:05:41do you mean we'll bring it back?
  1518. 1:05:43>> I I mean like we'll bring it back. Like
1519. 1:05:45we'll we'll give it back to you.
1520. 1:05:46>> Just bring it back immediately after.
  1521. 1:05:48>> Yeah.
1522. 1:05:48>> Look, dude. I met you 25 seconds ago and
1523. 1:05:50the first thing I saw you do was open my
1524. 1:05:52chest with a diamond eye of burn on it.
  1525. 1:05:54So I can trust your word.
  1526. 1:05:56>> Okay. Listen. Anyway, I promise you're
1527. 1:05:58not going to lose anything. I'm sorry.
  1528. 1:06:00All right. I I just shouldn't have
  1529. 1:06:00stolen your stuff, though.
  1530. 1:06:02>> All right. 50 bucks.
  1531. 1:06:05>> What?
  1532. 1:06:0650 bucks?
  1533. 1:06:08>> Yeah. $50 for the materials,
  1534. 1:06:11bro.
  1535. 1:06:11>> I'm not giving you $50 for redstone
1536. 1:06:13materials. [laughter] Yo yo yo yo.
1537. 1:06:15>> You got to die.
1538. 1:06:16>> Okay. Okay. You want $50 for like
  1539. 1:06:20observers and and pistons?
1540. 1:06:23>> Yeah. You're here in my village.
1541. 1:06:26>> Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay.
1542. 1:06:28Do you have any dark oak saplings?
  1543. 1:06:33[music]

1554. 1:06:5350 bucks on the spot. Yeah, just like
1555. 1:06:55that. Good job. If yours grow before

  1557. 1:07:00and I get to keep it.
1558. 1:07:01>> Dude, this is ridiculous. You probably
1559. 1:07:03You probably rigged this somehow,
1560. 1:07:05>> bro. How would I have ever rigged it?
1561. 1:07:06You saw me. You I literally placed them
1562. 1:07:08a second ago. Do you want to see? Mine
1563. 1:07:09just grew. And yours is going to grow as
1564. 1:07:11well. Okay, we can just break these and
1565. 1:07:14that's it. Even want Do you want to
1566. 1:07:16trade sides? Will that make you happier?
  1567. 1:07:18>> All right. Yeah, let's let's trade
  1568. 1:07:20sides.
1569. 1:07:20>> Okay, let's trade sides. So, break your
1570. 1:07:22tree and then we just set it right back
1571. 1:07:24up. Now, Par, what are you spending your
  1572. 1:07:26$50 on?
1573. 1:07:30>> The city, of course. But whoever just
1574. 1:07:32hit me while they were trying to break
1575. 1:07:33the tree is not [music] invited.
  1576. 1:07:35>> I'm sorry.
  1577. 1:07:37>> Taking so long.
  1578. 1:07:38>> Accident.
1579. 1:07:38>> Yo, why is this guy still cutting?
1580. 1:07:40>> You have six people breaking one tree.
1581. 1:07:42What do you like, What do you want me to
  1582. 1:07:44do in this faster?
1583. 1:07:45>> Do you even know? Like, are you sure
  1584. 1:07:46it's not your deal?
  1585. 1:07:49>> It's always you.
1586. 1:07:50>> What do you mean it's always me?
1587. 1:07:53Are you sure this is going to work?
1588. 1:07:55>> Yeah. What's going to happen next?
  1589. 1:07:56You're going to take
  1590. 1:07:58>> Yo, parameterization.
1591. 1:08:00>> All right. So, how are we going to do
  1592. 1:08:01this?
  1593. 1:08:02>> Uh, well, if you're ready, we'll just
1594. 1:08:04take turns. I'll bone meal one, you bone
1595. 1:08:05meal one, I bone meal one, and whoever
1596. 1:08:08is tree growross first loses.
1597. 1:08:11>> How about you bone meal two every time I
  1598. 1:08:13bone meal one?
1599. 1:08:16>> No, I'm not going to bone meal two every
1600. 1:08:17time I bone. Look, I can start with two
1601. 1:08:20since it is your stuff. Uh, but then
1602. 1:08:23we're going one for one. Otherwise, no
  1603. 1:08:25deal.
1604. 1:08:27>> What do we think?
  1605. 1:08:29>> Makes sense.
1606. 1:08:29>> I I think we take that deal. This deal
  1607. 1:08:32lives.
  1608. 1:08:33>> Yeah, right.
  1609. 1:08:35>> All right, let's do it.
1610. 1:08:36>> Okay, one for one.
  1611. 1:08:56Oh,
1612. 1:08:58tough luck. It was It was anyone's game,
1613. 1:09:01genuinely, but it is okay if I have the
1614. 1:09:03redstone supplies, right? Per the
  1615. 1:09:04agreement.
  1616. 1:09:06>> Um, no. I I really just don't think so.
1617. 1:09:11>> What do you mean? We agreed. We had the
1618. 1:09:13deal. My tree grew first. I'd have given
1619. 1:09:15you 50 bucks, but you know, we had a
1620. 1:09:17deal, right? Did anybody else hear a
  1621. 1:09:20deal happen?
1622. 1:09:21>> Uh, no. I think we did, bro.
1623. 1:09:24>> Is it like on paper?
  1624. 1:09:25>> Dude,
1625. 1:09:27we agreed that if your tree grew first,
1626. 1:09:29I'd get the rest supplies. I promise
1627. 1:09:32you're not even you're not even losing
1628. 1:09:33anything. Like, we'll give it back to
  1629. 1:09:34you.
1630. 1:09:37>> Sorry, man. I mean, if you if you really
  1631. 1:09:39want them that bad, I'll take 50 bucks

  1637. 1:09:5675.
1638. 1:09:58>> What? Seven? What do you mean 75? We 50?
  1639. 1:10:01No, 50 bucks. I'll give you $50 for it.
  1640. 1:10:04I'm not [music] giving you 75.
1641. 1:10:06>> Sorry, man. Price just went up.
  1642. 1:10:11>> 75.
  1643. 1:10:13>> $75.
  1644. 1:10:22You know, it's crazy what $70 can get
  1645. 1:10:24you.
1646. 1:10:24>> I literally do not want to hear it at
  1647. 1:10:26all.
  1648. 1:10:50Okay.
  1649. 1:10:50>> Dang. Okay. Nice.
  1650. 1:10:53>> That's done. Now
1651. 1:10:53>> we just got to do the engine, right?
1652. 1:10:55>> Yeah. I got to finish the engine. Uh
  1653. 1:10:57then we're good to go.
1654. 1:10:59>> How do you know how to build this?
  1655. 1:11:02>> I learned it from a YouTube tutorial.
1656. 1:11:04>> Straight up rip. [laughter]
1657. 1:11:07>> Okay, I think my end is done. And I'm
1658. 1:11:12done as well. All right. Lovely. Uh, you
1659. 1:11:14make sure you did everything right.
1660. 1:11:16>> I think so. How do we actually run it?
1661. 1:11:18Or what we do? What do we do now?
1662. 1:11:20>> Well, now we just we go
1663. 1:11:23actually. Do you want to power it?
1664. 1:11:26>> Sure. Yeah. How do I do it?
1665. 1:11:28>> Uh, wait. Take some of these.
  1666. 1:11:30>> Thank you.
1667. 1:11:31>> Uh, okay. What you got to do is you just
1668. 1:11:32got to really quickly with a slime block
1669. 1:11:34in front of this observer,
1670. 1:11:35>> just place and destroy really, really
  1671. 1:11:38fast.
1672. 1:11:39>> Okay. and everything will move.
1673. 1:11:42>> Do you want to like put an obsidian or a
1674. 1:11:45furnace in case it doesn't work or do
1675. 1:11:47you want to just rip it and see what
  1676. 1:11:48happens?
1677. 1:11:49>> Sometimes you just got to believe.
  1678. 1:11:51>> Okay.
1679. 1:11:57Is it working? It looks like it's
  1680. 1:11:59working, [laughter] right?
  1681. 1:12:01>> Yeah.
  1682. 1:12:03Nice.
  1683. 1:12:05>> Sick.
  1684. 1:12:06[laughter]
  1685. 1:12:12Wow.
  1686. 1:12:20Looks like it's cowproof.
  1687. 1:12:24Yeah,
  1688. 1:12:26looks like it is.
1689. 1:12:53Not much out there, huh?
  1690. 1:12:56Uh
  1691. 1:13:00maybe.
  1692. 1:13:03So uh I never asked
1693. 1:13:06>> you do this kind of thing often
  1694. 1:13:10>> like
  1695. 1:13:12I I guess so. I I solve mysteries on the
1696. 1:13:15internet. I make videos about them. What
  1697. 1:13:17about you?
1698. 1:13:19You get so invested in this often this
  1699. 1:13:23kind of thing or
1700. 1:13:27Yeah. Yeah. I mean, all the time.
  1701. 1:13:30Personality I guess.
1702. 1:13:34Do you usually set out tests and take
1703. 1:13:37people with you or am I the first?
  1704. 1:13:45>> I Yeah. Yeah, you're the first.
  1705. 1:13:49>> Honored.
1706. 1:13:55So, well, if this doesn't work, what are
1707. 1:13:59we going to do after this?
1708. 1:14:02I guess it depends. If we don't if we if
1709. 1:14:05we if we do see something,
1710. 1:14:08>> then that would be really cool. But if
  1711. 1:14:10we don't,
1712. 1:14:13then I think I might call it and just,
1713. 1:14:17you know, start finishing up the video,
  1714. 1:14:20all that stuff.
  1715. 1:14:25Okay,
  1716. 1:14:27it's getting darker now.
  1717. 1:14:31>> Yeah.
1718. 1:14:34It'll be harder to see anything out
  1719. 1:14:35there.
1720. 1:14:40Do you think there is something out
  1721. 1:14:41there?
  1722. 1:14:45Uh,
  1723. 1:14:47yeah. I mean, I can feel something's out
  1724. 1:14:50there.
  1725. 1:14:53There's a dr running a nautilus.
  1726. 1:14:58If I didn't know better, I would have
  1727. 1:14:59thought that was a Leviathan.
  1728. 1:15:04>> No. Yeah, you'll you'll know when you
  1729. 1:15:05see it.
1730. 1:15:06>> Look at that. It just pops in and out
1731. 1:15:08just out of render distance. I mean, no
1732. 1:15:11wonder people are seeing things.
1733. 1:15:15>> Maybe you just need to believe a bit
  1734. 1:15:16more.
1735. 1:15:19I've done a lot of believing and look
  1736. 1:15:20where that's got us.
  1737. 1:15:27Do you think we'll actually find
  1738. 1:15:28something out here?
  1739. 1:15:30>> Uh, what's that?
1740. 1:15:33>> Like, do you think we're actually going
  1741. 1:15:35to find the Leviathan?
  1742. 1:15:39>> Uh, yeah, I hope so.
  1743. 1:15:44Yeah, me too.
1744. 1:15:51Do you know how many blocks we have?
1745. 1:15:53What? What are you doing? What the hell
  1746. 1:15:55are you doing?
  1747. 1:15:57>> Guess you're right. We're not really
1748. 1:16:00going to find Levi in some flying
  1749. 1:16:01machine.
1750. 1:16:03It's time for us to believe.
1751. 1:16:06>> So, we're back to this. What? Is this
1752. 1:16:08your idea of believing? Blowing up the
  1753. 1:16:10submarine and us drowning again? We've
1754. 1:16:12been searching for the Leviathan,
  1755. 1:16:14haven't we?
  1756. 1:16:14>> Oh, really? a lot of searching you've
  1757. 1:16:15been doing. You haven't even noticed
  1758. 1:16:17that we haven't moved to the last 5
1759. 1:16:18minutes. You're so ready to go through
1760. 1:16:21this whole ocean, find nothing, and just
  1761. 1:16:24to conclude the Leviathan isn't real,
1762. 1:16:26right? You just think Levi's going to
  1763. 1:16:28like magically appear whilst you're
1764. 1:16:29tapped out. You've given up hours ago.
1765. 1:16:32You're not searching for anything. And
  1766. 1:16:34what if I have given up? Okay, we've
1767. 1:16:37searched for hours, multiple days in a
  1768. 1:16:39row. If I wasn't making the video, this
1769. 1:16:41would be the biggest waste of time of my
1770. 1:16:42life. How many times do you think we
1771. 1:16:45have to drown for you to realize the
  1772. 1:16:47Leviathan isn't real?
  1773. 1:16:49>> Levi is real.
1774. 1:16:51That's what you want, right? This is
1775. 1:16:52what all this is about. You just don't
1776. 1:16:54want him to actually be real. You want
1777. 1:16:55it all to be a hoax. There you go. And
1778. 1:16:56you've proved it. [music] Done. Just
  1779. 1:16:58like that.
1780. 1:16:59>> You think I'm doing all this thinking?
1781. 1:17:00Of course I want it to be real. You
  1782. 1:17:01think I've done all this thinking it's
1783. 1:17:03>> No. YOU NEVER EVEN THOUGHT THIS WAS REAL
1784. 1:17:04TO BEGIN WITH. You were so set from the
1785. 1:17:06get- go that this was fake. You weren't
1786. 1:17:07even searching for an answer. You were
1787. 1:17:09just searching for anything that proves
1788. 1:17:10that you were right. Just as long as it
1789. 1:17:13was you who solves it. You don't even
1790. 1:17:15care if the Leviathan is real.
  1791. 1:17:18>> And even if that's true,
1792. 1:17:21why do you care so much?
  1793. 1:17:28Because I I want to see Levi.
1794. 1:17:34Then why do you need me? Why What do you
  1795. 1:17:37care if I care?
1796. 1:17:42because I want you to see it, too.
1797. 1:17:55I don't know what you want from me. What
1798. 1:17:58do you want me to do?
1799. 1:18:01>> I just want you to believe.
  1800. 1:18:04I don't know how I have it. Like,
1801. 1:18:10don't cling on to what you know about
1802. 1:18:11Minecraft. Like, yeah, this is a game,
1803. 1:18:13but you have to believe in something
1804. 1:18:16bigger. You have to believe in the
  1805. 1:18:18Leviathan.
  1806. 1:18:20>> I don't know if I can.
1807. 1:18:24>> Just because this doesn't make sense
  1808. 1:18:26doesn't mean it isn't real. You're
  1809. 1:18:29really telling me there isn't a part of
1810. 1:18:30you that wants the Leviathan to exist.
1811. 1:18:32that there isn't something more to this
  1812. 1:18:34game, that we're doing something
  1813. 1:18:36important here.
1814. 1:18:41You care about being curious. You care
  1815. 1:18:43about finding the truth.
  1816. 1:18:46Then try
  1817. 1:18:48try something that doesn't make sense.
  1818. 1:18:53Believe.
  1819. 1:19:00I don't know if I can believe in
1820. 1:19:01something that might not even exist.
  1821. 1:19:13They believe in me.
  1822. 1:19:26Okay.
  1823. 1:19:30I believe in you.
  1824. 1:20:13me.
  1825. 1:20:19Hey.
  1826. 1:20:25>> [sighs]
  1827. 1:20:28>> I'm alive. Hummer.
  1828. 1:20:33Hey.
  1829. 1:20:35Hey. What gives?
  1830. 1:20:38Hummer.
  1831. 1:20:40Hummer.
1832. 1:20:43Why? Why did I survive? Why did Hummer
  1833. 1:20:45die?
  1834. 1:20:49Hummer.
  1835. 1:20:54[music]
  1836. 1:20:59Why me?
  1837. 1:21:07[music]
  1838. 1:21:21>> [music]
  1839. 1:21:31[music]
  1840. 1:21:38[music]
  1841. 1:22:04>> What the hell?
  1842. 1:22:10I can't press F3.
  1843. 1:22:16Okay, screenshot still works.
  1844. 1:22:35>> [music]
  1845. 1:22:54>> Okay, this is the best idea I had. I I
1846. 1:22:57don't know what else to do. It just
1847. 1:22:58turned nighttime out of nowhere. All my
1848. 1:23:00items cleared. But this is the weirdest
  1849. 1:23:02part. I I cannot record. I'm pressing my
  1850. 1:23:05recording hotkey. I'm pressing F9. It
  1851. 1:23:07does. It's not doing anything. I can
1852. 1:23:09still look around. I'm still here for
  1853. 1:23:11some reason.
  1854. 1:23:13I don't know. I'm kind of freaked out.
1855. 1:23:14This is the only thing I don't know if
  1856. 1:23:16like it sounds so stupid. I don't know
1857. 1:23:18if it's going to sense me recording with
  1858. 1:23:20my phone. I don't know. But like while
  1859. 1:23:23I'm still here, I guess I'll I'll record
  1860. 1:23:27like this. It's better than nothing.
1861. 1:23:32Like it's kind of hard to move around
  1862. 1:23:33because I only have one hand.
  1863. 1:23:39What the hell,
  1864. 1:23:42actually? What is this?
1865. 1:23:46Just going to keep going.
  1866. 1:24:02Okay, I'm just going to keep going. I
  1867. 1:24:03don't know how much time I have. I don't
1868. 1:24:04know if it's like I feel like such an
  1869. 1:24:07idiot saying I don't know if it's going
  1870. 1:24:08to sense me, but I don't know if it's
1871. 1:24:09going to sense me. Like, okay. like
  1872. 1:24:12didn't know I was recording. I don't
1873. 1:24:13know. That sounds so dumb.
  1874. 1:24:17Sorry.
  1875. 1:24:28Sorry.
1876. 1:24:40But I need to get to the end in case
  1877. 1:24:43anything happens.
  1878. 1:24:46Something over there.
1879. 1:24:53I can fall through this. [snorts] Okay.
  1880. 1:25:00Why me? Why not Hummer? I don't know.
1881. 1:25:06I'll make sure he sees it. Okay. My my
1882. 1:25:09arm hurts. Let me switch hands. Sorry.
  1883. 1:25:25What?
  1884. 1:25:27There's a chest.
  1885. 1:25:51Okay.
  1886. 1:26:27Hello. Hello.
  1887. 1:26:29Hello.
  1888. 1:26:31Hello. Wiffies.
1889. 1:26:34We Hello. Can you hear me? Is anyone
  1890. 1:26:37home up there?
  1891. 1:26:39Dude, you've been standing there for
  1892. 1:26:40like 30 minutes. Hello, we wiffies.
  1893. 1:26:46Hello. Hello.
  1894. 1:26:48Hello.
  1895. 1:26:50Hello.
1896. 1:26:54So, are you going to give me my stuff
  1897. 1:26:56back?
  1898. 1:27:03[music]
1899. 1:27:10Hummer. I hope this [music] email finds
1900. 1:27:13you well. I don't know why Levi let me
1901. 1:27:16in and not you. I don't know why he
1902. 1:27:20stopped my recording or why all my
  1903. 1:27:23screenshots [music] are blank. Like I
  1904. 1:27:26was never really there. I don't know
1905. 1:27:28what Levi is or what he wants. But I can
  1906. 1:27:32promise you this. I won't stop until I
  1907. 1:27:37figure it out
  1908. 1:27:39for you
  1909. 1:27:41and for me.
  1910. 1:27:43Yours, [music]
