3. 0:12so excited to receive this bike and show
4. 0:15it to all of you.
5. 0:17Can barely put it into words. I didn't
6. 0:18think it was possible to get this bike
7. 0:20as a press bike.
8. 0:22But Moonraker Motorcycles,
9. 0:24they've come through for me.
10. 0:31Royal Enfield
11. 0:32Classic 350 Goan. I say press bike, that
12. 0:36isn't true. This bike is directly from
13. 0:38my friends at Moonraker Motorcycles in
14. 0:40Norwich, and you can test ride this
15. 0:43exact bike directly at Moonraker
16. 0:46Motorcycles, and they've got them
17. 0:47available for sale right now. Yes, it's
18. 0:50true, they've left Indian shores. These
19. 0:52are available across Europe,
20. 0:54and I'm guessing probably USA,
21. 0:56Australia, and further afield. Take a
22. 0:59Royal Enfield Classic 350 and give it a
23. 1:021960s, 1970s easy living
24. 1:06Goan vibe. Big, bright colors, laid-back
25. 1:10attitude, mini ape bars, whitewall tires
26. 1:14with that beautiful orange rim. I've
27. 1:17never seen a combo like that before.
28. 1:21It's a Classic 350 with edge.
29. 1:26And for me, I cannot imagine
30. 1:29anything cooler
31. 1:31than that. Let's do the specs then. I'll
32. 1:33take it out on the road.
33. 1:35Let's see what this is like because
34. 1:38my expectations are are sky-high with
35. 1:41this. I've been so excited. So, it's
36. 1:43that standard 350cc engine from the
37. 1:46Classic 350, 20 horsepower,
38. 1:49197 kilos. That's with 90%
39. 1:53fuel in it. And the price,
40. 1:5612,000. No, I'm joking.
41. 1:59For a dream bike, 4,700
42. 2:04and 19 pounds.
43. 2:07I'll quickly put this
44. 2:09into a side-on shot
45. 2:11to show you a couple of bits.
46. 2:16It's a good turning circle.
47. 2:18Very nice. Okay, so.

49. 2:27It looks nice. It's It's a bobber. It's
50. 2:30chopped. It's got ape bars. It's
51. 2:32stripped back.
52. 2:33But there is a bit of practicality, too.
53. 2:35This comes with the price.
54. 2:40If you can find it. Ah, here it is.

57. 2:48pillion seat.
58. 2:50That screws underneath the seat there,
59. 2:53and those clip on there.
60. 2:56And if you need it,
61. 2:59you can take a plus one, which is
62. 3:02excellent.
63. 3:04I'll just interject, if I may. Happy
64. 3:07Charger Car Day. Once a year, this day
65. 3:10happens, 5th of October, in celebration
66. 3:13and acting as a reminder to make sure
67. 3:15your car's starter battery is in tip-top
68. 3:18condition.

71. 3:23founded in 1997, and one of the pioneers
72. 3:26of much of the technology around battery
73. 3:28charging technology.
74. 3:30Uh one of the forerunners in the world.
75. 3:32I think they sell about a million
76. 3:34battery charging solutions worldwide
77. 3:37every year. And I'm using the MXS 5.0.
78. 3:41This has a lot of extremely clever tech
79. 3:44in it, and it's very user-friendly. So,
80. 3:47I'll quickly show you how all of this
81. 3:48works and a bit of the key technology
82. 3:50inside it in order to keep
83. 3:53the Jeep's battery in tip-top condition.
84. 3:56It is important to do this because, for
85. 3:58example, especially now all cars are
86. 4:01getting so technological with so much
87. 4:03stuff running off the battery,
88. 4:05start-stop technology, etc., etc. I
89. 4:08think if you've got, for example, a new
90. 4:10Range Rover, a brand new battery for
91. 4:12that can be 400
92. 4:14pounds.
93. 4:16It It's gigantic. So, it's extra
94. 4:19important, more than ever, that you
95. 4:21you keep your battery in tip-top
96. 4:22condition because this is one of the
97. 4:24single easiest ways to stop any big
98. 4:26bills.
99. 4:28Red to red, black to black.
100. 4:32Mhm.
101. 4:34And here.
102. 4:36Now, all I have to do turn it on at the
103. 4:39wall,
104. 4:40and pick
105. 4:42the selection I want. So, you've got
106. 4:44car, AGM, which is a certain type of
107. 4:46battery used, I think, in start-stop
108. 4:48technology a lot, which I won't need.
109. 4:50Recondition, that gives a depleted
110. 4:54battery complete reconditioning and
111. 4:55gives it a new lease of life, all three
112. 4:58of the above, or motorbike. For this, I
113. 5:00would go for car. And then you can see
114. 5:03this pop up, numbers 1 to 8 along here
115. 5:07that indicate the state of your battery.
116. 5:09So, three's just popped up. Three
117. 5:11standout bits of tech within this. The
118. 5:13AGM option, which will help maximize the
119. 5:16lifespan of your start-stop technology
120. 5:18battery.
121. 5:19Number two, the desulfation mode, that
122. 5:21will remove sulfate from your battery to
123. 5:24enhance its lifespan and its potential.
124. 5:26And finally,
125. 5:27recondition mode. That will use
126. 5:29extremely intelligent technology, get
127. 5:32gases moving around the battery in order
128. 5:34to get your battery as close as
129. 5:36physically possible to its original 100%
130. 5:39capacity. So, if you're interested in
131. 5:41looking after your vehicle's battery, go

162. 7:41of this bike, but there are a few
163. 7:43elements here that I don't understand
164. 7:46Royal Enfield's thought process. Bear in
165. 7:49mind, this is the two-wheeled embodiment
166. 7:51of a hippie. This is easy living. It's
167. 7:54fun loving. And Goan itself is all about
168. 7:58colors and vibrancy. And this is the
169. 8:01Goan Classic 350. That's what this is.
170. 8:05Why all the black? I remember when the
171. 8:08Royal Enfield Classic 350 first came
172. 8:10out. I loved it for for all of the the
173. 8:12beautiful colors, the
174. 8:14the bare metal engine casings, the the
175. 8:17beautiful chrome indicators. Perfect.
176. 8:21Why with the Goan
177. 8:23have they
178. 8:24diverted from that and put black engine
179. 8:27cases? Why have they put black
180. 8:28indicators? Why have they put black
181. 8:32instrument binoculars? Why have they put
182. 8:34black there? Why is there black there?
183. 8:38And why is there this?
184. 8:42This black extender. Make this whole
185. 8:44exquisite-looking metal mudguard all the
186. 8:47way down. Don't stop it there and then
187. 8:49add a
188. 8:50ugly plastic thing.
189. 8:52If this were my bike,
190. 8:54and I can already tell I would buy one
191. 8:56of these,
192. 8:57I What I would do,
193. 8:59I would have to and I would have to do
194. 9:02this, I'd have to find either a
195. 9:06a scrap Royal Enfield Classic 350 or
196. 9:09just buy the parts directly from Royal
197. 9:10Enfield and replace the engine casings,
198. 9:14the indicators, the black lights here,
199. 9:17and a few other bits and pieces with
200. 9:20a Classic 350 variant, i.e., all bare
201. 9:24metal, not black. It has to be bare
202. 9:26metal for me personally. I feel very
203. 9:28passionate about that.
204. 9:32Oh, one other thing. Let's just see
205. 9:33what's in here.
206. 9:36And then I'll carry on.

212. 9:54While I'm here, I'll give you a bit of a
213. 9:55close-up. So, you've got that light
214. 9:57cluster on the back. My lord, I wish
215. 9:58that was all uh metal. Royal Enfield
216. 10:01logo on the back holding the rear
217. 10:03mudguard. The color The color of this is
218. 10:07sensational with this orange and white
219. 10:10accents right in the middle. Whitewall
220. 10:13tires, that in itself That in itself is
221. 10:18so unique and such a selling point with
222. 10:20this beautiful orange rim here. Spoked
223. 10:23wheels, tubeless.
224. 10:25Lovely, simple, elegant exhaust. Again,
225. 10:28the shocks there in black. That's
226. 10:32I don't think you'd call it floating
227. 10:34seat, but kind of floating-ish style
228. 10:36seat. Very nicely padded with Going
229. 10:40Classic 350 there. That's a really very
230. 10:45plush-feeling seat. Come around here.
231. 10:47See, this is what I'm talking about.
232. 10:49Lovely lovely colors, lovely tank work,
233. 10:52all of the design, flowers. We've got
234. 10:55easy-living vibes here. Doesn't work
235. 10:58Doesn't work with a black engine. Has to
236. 11:00be bare metal. Moonraker Motorcycles

243. 11:14This is Classic 350 binacle here. Again,
244. 11:17the lovely lovely color of paint
245. 11:21continued through to the binacle. You've
246. 11:23got the tripper nav. So, my hands are
247. 11:25filthy. I've just been changing
248. 11:27suspension on a car. Uh tripper satnav
249. 11:30here. Look, I would personally do
250. 11:32without that and save a bit of money
251. 11:34because I'm just not a fan or I'm just
252. 11:36not a fan of tech on bikes. It always
253. 11:38ends up aging badly, but there it is.

258. 11:54like that. Coming round to the front,

260. 11:58This is so iconic and beautiful. As are

264. 12:08Royal Enfield I mean, this is actually
265. 12:10Classic 500 style from about 15 years
266. 12:13ago. I really like this front view. And
267. 12:17the color combo continues on the front
268. 12:19mudguard. But there it is. It's a It's a
269. 12:22really really nice-looking thing.

277. 13:36Good news on the bike. I've just figured
278. 13:38this out. I think I was told yesterday,
279. 13:40but I forgot. It's heel and toe shifter,
280. 13:42which is quite a nice option to have
281. 13:45depending on, for example,
282. 13:47what kind of shoes you wear. This means
283. 13:48you don't have to mess them up. So,
284. 13:51I do quite like that option.
285. 14:04In a world where everything's getting
286. 14:06more and more serious,
287. 14:08the Going 350 I've figured it out
288. 14:11already. It's
289. 14:13You know I was going to say it's a
290. 14:14middle finger up to
291. 14:16over-seriousness, but it's not. It's not
292. 14:19a middle finger up because this is
293. 14:21This is a chilled-out bike. It's It's a
294. 14:24rejection
295. 14:26of anyone and anything
296. 14:29that takes themselves too seriously.
297. 14:32It's just
298. 14:34easy-going vibes.
299. 14:37Nothing here to complicate or take away
300. 14:39from the joy of riding. And that is the
301. 14:43magic
302. 14:45of Royal Enfield. And this bike
303. 14:48goes a step further than even Royal
304. 14:50Enfield often do with its
305. 14:52its glorious going nature.
306. 14:58To the supermarket.
307. 15:02On a day like today
308. 15:04at this time of the year as it is now,
309. 15:09half a week,

312. 15:17I promise you this is a a ray of
313. 15:19sunlight in
314. 15:22a time of the year with ever-diminishing
315. 15:25light.
316. 15:27It's also incredibly
317. 15:30and I'm surprised by this.
318. 15:32I think I think I may even prefer the
319. 15:35ergonomics of this compared to the
320. 15:38Classic 350.
321. 15:40And that's saying something because the
322. 15:42Classic 350, I would probably say
323. 15:46if someone were to say to me, "What's
324. 15:47your
325. 15:49for you
326. 15:50the best bike or your favorite ever
327. 15:52bike?"
328. 15:53I think I would say the Royal Enfield
329. 15:55Classic 350. I know I've said this
330. 15:56before, so I'm going to be boring a lot
331. 15:58of people, but I've been lucky enough to
332. 16:00test out a lot of different bikes. And
333. 16:02it's really easy to make an exquisite
334. 16:05exceptional bike if you've got a big
335. 16:07budget and if you charge a lot of money
336. 16:09for it.
337. 16:10The hard thing is being able to make a
338. 16:13really desirable bike for the masses for
339. 16:17an affordable price. And that's the
340. 16:18magic of the Classic 350. That's why for
341. 16:20me the Classic 350 still,
342. 16:23years after it came out 4 years now
343. 16:25after it came out, it is still
344. 16:28probably my favorite ever bike.
345. 16:31And this Going variant
346. 16:36Ooh, this This is a
347. 16:39a pretender to the crown. This is This
348. 16:42is going to really take the fight to
349. 16:45that traditionally styled Classic 350.
350. 16:49It's the Classic 350 with
351. 16:53with edge. And that riding position
352. 16:56there, sorry about the bobbing up and
353. 16:57down
354. 16:58like I'm on a a bucking horse. That
355. 17:00riding position is so ergonomically
356. 17:03natural. Just perfect. The position of
357. 17:06my legs,
358. 17:07heel and toe shifter there. So, going up
359. 17:10the gears, going down the gears.
360. 17:13Mhm.
361. 17:15Yeah, it's nice.

370. 17:58lucky we as bikers are that a bike like
371. 18:00this
372. 18:01even exists at all.
373. 18:03I'll try and explain myself.
374. 18:05Let's go back all the way to 1950s USA.
375. 18:09This is a time when America was for one
376. 18:11in its heyday and certainly more high on
377. 18:14confidence than it has ever been in its
378. 18:17history. And that That shows in the
379. 18:19vehicles that it was manufacturing. Huge
380. 18:22fins, massive engines, garish color
381. 18:25work, and the most exquisite intricate
382. 18:28detail. This is a time when American car
383. 18:30manufacturers, they sold off passion and
384. 18:33emotion first and foremost.
385. 18:36But somewhere along the line in the
386. 18:38decades that followed, not just from the
387. 18:39Americans, but
388. 18:41the car manufacturers on a global scale,
389. 18:44we we lost our way in terms of emotion
390. 18:47and passion. And now vehicles are sold
391. 18:51on
392. 18:52"Two miles per gallon more you can get
393. 18:54now the latest model. And this vehicle
394. 18:57has electronic stability control. And
395. 18:59now you can have X and Y software that
396. 19:02you probably will never use. And we've
397. 19:05got this new safety feature with our
398. 19:07vehicles that you really cannot do
399. 19:10without." Vehicles now are sold all on
400. 19:13common sense. The emotion, the passion,
401. 19:16the heart,
402. 19:17it's almost all gone.
403. 19:20Yet within the biking sector,
404. 19:23it's very much still here.
405. 19:25So, to get a bike like this
406. 19:27with styling the likes of which the car
407. 19:29industry probably hasn't seen since
408. 19:32America in its glory years, it just
409. 19:34shows how incredibly incredibly lucky we
410. 19:38are. I'm so glad that bikes like this
411. 19:41exist. Bikes that pull at the
412. 19:43heartstrings. Monica's mom just came in.
413. 19:46She knows nothing about motorbikes, but
414. 19:48she was blown away, speechless, couldn't
415. 19:52stop looking at it, couldn't believe a
416. 19:54vehicle like this in 2025 exists.
417. 19:59And that is the magic of motorbikes for
418. 20:02one, and it's also the magic of what
419. 20:04Royal Enfield have brought back. And
420. 20:06this probably, from an extrovert styling
421. 20:08point of view, is
422. 20:11the cherry on the cake within Royal
423. 20:13Enfield's lineup.
