1. 0:01Have you ever had a conversation that
2. 0:03turned into like World War III and
3. 0:05you're like, "I have no idea what just
4. 0:07happened. How did we get here?" Like one
5. 0:09minute you're talking about something
6. 0:10simple like dinner plans and the next
7. 0:12minute it feels like your relationship
8. 0:14is falling apart. Hi, I'm Dr. Jamie
9. 0:18Morgan. I've been in the ministry for
10. 0:19over three decades and I mentor Holy
11. 0:22Spiritfilled women to walk in God's call
12. 0:24on their lives. And today I'm going to
13. 0:27show you how to identify the spirit of
14. 0:30Leviathan that may be attacking your
15. 0:33marriage, your ministry, or even your
16. 0:35peace. And I'm going to give you the
17. 0:37exact biblical weapons to defeat it
18. 0:40through Jesus. And before this video
19. 0:42ends, I'm going to show you the one
20. 0:44prayer that shuts down Leviathan
21. 0:47instantly. But first, you need to
22. 0:49understand how to recognize it. This
23. 0:53video, by the way, is part of a video
24. 0:55series that I'm doing on spiritual
25. 0:56warfare. I'll leave the link to the
26. 0:58entire playlist on spiritual warfare
27. 1:01above at the end of this video. So, the
28. 1:04Bible mentions Leviathan like five
29. 1:07times, and each reference reveals both a
30. 1:11physical sea creature and a spiritual
31. 1:15demonic force. But it's Job chapter 41
32. 1:20that gives us the most detailed
33. 1:22description. God himself describes
34. 1:25Leviathan as untameable, powerful,
35. 1:28fierce, and impossible for any human to
36. 1:31control, except of course through the
37. 1:33power of the Lord Jesus Christ. [snorts]
38. 1:35At the end of the chapter, God calls
39. 1:38Leviathan king over all the sons of
40. 1:41pride. Listen to that. Pride. That's our
41. 1:44first major spiritual clue. So what
42. 1:46exactly is Leviathan? It it's pictured
43. 1:48as a large sea serpent, but biblically
44. 1:51it also represents a powerful
45. 1:54territorial demonic spirit that operates
46. 1:56through pride, twisting, confusion,
47. 1:59chaos, and division. This spirit is
48. 2:02fundamentally a covenant-breaking
49. 2:04spirit. Its primary mission is to cause
50. 2:07believers to shipwreck their faith,
51. 2:10their marriage, their ministry, or even
52. 2:12their prayer life. When we understand
53. 2:14how this spirit works, we can recognize
54. 2:16its attacks and defeat them through the
55. 2:18power of the Lord Jesus Christ. By the
56. 2:21way, would you hit the like button to
57. 2:23give this video greater reach? So,
58. 2:25listen closely to the next part. This is
59. 2:28where most people miss it. One of the
60. 2:30primary ways that Leviathan attacks is
61. 2:33by twisting communication. Isaiah calls
62. 2:37Leviathan the twisting
63. 2:40serpent. And that is exactly what it
64. 2:43does. It twists words, motives, and
65. 2:46intentions.
66. 2:48You say one thing and the person hears
67. 2:50something entirely different or even
68. 2:52completely opposite of what you
69. 2:55intended. Even your tone can get
70. 2:58twisted. Misunderstandings erupt out of
71. 3:00seemingly nowhere. People become
72. 3:02offended over something that you never
73. 3:04said. Relationships become strained over
74. 3:08something that didn't even happen. I
75. 3:11remember when this spirit attacked my
76. 3:13ministry. I would make like a simple
77. 3:16comment about something and what the
78. 3:19person in my congregation heard was
79. 3:22criticism and rejection and then within
80. 3:25minutes we were in a full conflict over
81. 3:28something that was never even said. That
82. 3:32is Leviathan's fingerprint, the
83. 3:35twisting. This spirit also frequently
84. 3:38attacks marriages and really any type of
85. 3:41relationship that believers have. If the
86. 3:44twisting spirit is not dealt with, it
87. 3:47will play on existing hurts leading to
88. 3:51broken covenants. Stop right now and
89. 3:53think, has this happened to you even
90. 3:56recently, maybe even this week? [snorts]
91. 3:59This the weapon against twisting is
92. 4:02truth. You defeat twisting by
93. 4:05proclaiming the truth of God's word out
94. 4:09of your mouth. Truth straightens what
95. 4:11Leviathan twists. You also defeat
96. 4:13twisting through praying in tonesues.
97. 4:16Praying in tonesues brings clarity,
98. 4:18alignment, and revelation because it
99. 4:21bypasses your mind and it allows the
100. 4:23Holy Spirit to pray through you. And
101. 4:26when confusion feels persistent, add
102. 4:29prayer and fasting. Prayer and fasting
103. 4:32clears spiritual fog and sharpens your
104. 4:35discernment. So truth, tongues, and
105. 4:38prayer and fasting break the twisting
106. 4:41serpent every single time. Now, here's
107. 4:43what most Christians don't know.
108. 4:46You can win every argument and still
109. 4:50lose to Leviathan. Because Leviathan
110. 4:53also operates through, as we mentioned
111. 4:55before, pride. According to Job 41:34,
112. 4:58Leviathan beholds every high thing and
113. 5:01is the king over all the sons of pride.
114. 5:03Scripture calls it the king over all the
115. 5:05children of pride. This spirit feeds on
116. 5:08pride and fuels stubbornness, arrogance,
117. 5:11defensiveness, unteability, and an
118. 5:14unwillingness to apologize. Pride is one
119. 5:18of Leviathan's main domains. So, what's
120. 5:22pride's oh, let's say kryptonite?
121. 5:24Humility. Humility is like spiritual
122. 5:27acid to Leviathan. Humility kills
123. 5:30Leviathan instantly. When under attack,
124. 5:33humbling oneself and refusing to defend
125. 5:35oneself, such as offering a soft answer
126. 5:38or an apology, immediately breaks the
127. 5:41spirit's influence because a soft answer
128. 5:44turns away wrath. You also defeat it
129. 5:47through repentance.
130. 5:49Repentance instantly breaks pride's
131. 5:52grip. Praying in tongues also helps
132. 5:55soften the heart because praying in the
133. 5:57spirit aligns you with God's will and
134. 6:00not your own will. And prayer and
135. 6:02fasting crucifies the flesh and breaks
136. 6:04stubbornness at its root. Where
137. 6:06humility, repentance, prayer, and
138. 6:08fasting are present, Leviathan cannot
139. 6:11stay. Picture this. Your ministry team
140. 6:14is thriving. Everyone's unified. The
141. 6:17vision is clear. And then suddenly out
142. 6:19of nowhere suspicion starts creeping in.
143. 6:23Motives get questioned. Offense spreads
144. 6:26like wildfire. That's another tactic of
145. 6:29Leviathan. Division and
146. 6:32misunderstanding.
147. 6:33This spirit loves to attack marriages,
148. 6:37friendships, ministries, leadership
149. 6:40teams, and churches. It twists motives,
150. 6:43plants suspicion, stirs offense, and
151. 6:46fractures unity. Leviathan thrives where
152. 6:50relationships break apart.
153. 6:53I have mentored many women whose
154. 6:55ministries were absolutely thriving
155. 6:58until suddenly her leadership team
156. 7:01turned against her or her board turned
157. 7:03against her or even her congregation
158. 7:06turned against her. When we recognized
159. 7:10what was happening and bound Leviathan
160. 7:14together, the atmosphere shifted
161. 7:16instantly. The accusation stopped. The
162. 7:19unity returned. That is the power of
163. 7:22recognizing this foul, filthy demonic
164. 7:24spirit. When division attacks, unity is
165. 7:27your answer. Unity crushes leviathan.
166. 7:30You speak scripture over your
167. 7:32relationships, releasing peace and
168. 7:34truth. You pray in tongues over every
169. 7:38relationship under attack because
170. 7:40tongues strengthens your spirit and
171. 7:43clears spiritual interference. And when
172. 7:46relationships feel spiritually
173. 7:47spiritually blocked or strained, you
174. 7:50pray and fast. So unity, tongues, and
175. 7:53prayer and fasting dismantle Leviathan's
176. 7:56dividing power. [snorts] And by the way,
177. 7:58if you're a Holy Spiritfilled woman who
178. 8:00wants to walk in God's calling in your
179. 8:02life, I'd love for you to check out my
180. 8:04group mentoring ministry, which can be
181. 8:05found at trailblazermentoring.com.
182. 8:09I'll leave the link below.
183. 8:12So far, we've covered how Leviathan
184. 8:15twists communication, operates through
185. 8:18pride, and creates division. But what
186. 8:21I'm about to share next is one of the
187. 8:23most dangerous tactics and the one most
188. 8:28believers missirely.
189. 8:31Leviathan also produces chaos and
190. 8:36confusion.
191. 8:38In scripture, the sea, you know, the
192. 8:40ocean, the sea symbolizes chaos and
193. 8:44Leviathan is the sea monster of chaos.
194. 8:47This spirit creates scattered thinking,
195. 8:50mental fog, emotional turmoil,
196. 8:52irrational reactions, and confusion that
197. 8:55makes no sense. Have you ever felt like
198. 8:57your thoughts were like scrambled and
199. 9:00you couldn't think straight? That could
200. 9:02be Leviathan. You asked God, but that
201. 9:05could be Leviathan. The spirit also
202. 9:07brings forth despair, depression, and
203. 9:10intimidation. When Leviathan is present,
204. 9:13the battle feels overwhelming. and so
205. 9:17large that people often feel compelled
206. 9:19to quit or become unable to see God as
207. 9:24the answer which he always is. Job 41
208. 9:26indicates that any hope of overcoming
209. 9:28him is false and and one will be
210. 9:31overwhelmed at the sight of him of
211. 9:33course except through Jesus. Job 41:8
212. 9:37warns against laying a hand on him in
213. 9:39battle, suggesting that the fight is
214. 9:42highly intimidating except of course
215. 9:44through Jesus. Chaos's antidote, the
216. 9:47Holy Spirit, the spirit of truth and
217. 9:49order. Where the Holy Spirit is,
218. 9:51confusion cannot stay. Praying in
219. 9:54tongues brings spiritual clarity and
220. 9:56alignment. Speaking scriptures of peace
221. 9:59releases divine order into your
222. 10:01atmosphere. And when confusion persists,
223. 10:04fasting and prayer breaks the
224. 10:06interference and restores spiritual
225. 10:08sharpness. Where the Holy Spirit flows,
226. 10:11Leviathan's chaos dissolves. By the way,
227. 10:15I would love for you to be part of my
228. 10:16YouTube channel community. Hit the
229. 10:19subscribe button and also would you
230. 10:21share this video so that everyone who
231. 10:23needs to watch it will. And there's a
232. 10:25lot of people that need to learn about
233. 10:27the spirit of Leviathan. The next this
234. 10:30next tactic is subtle but extremely
235. 10:33dangerous. Another way that Leviathan
236. 10:36operates is through religious pride. It
237. 10:39shows up as self-righteousness,
238. 10:42legalism, comparison, spiritual
239. 10:44superiority and judgmental attitudes.
240. 10:47This is pride wearing spiritual clothes.
241. 10:50Remember when I said Leviathan is the
242. 10:52king of pride? This is where it shows up
243. 10:54most. Whether it's in church, among
244. 10:57believers, in ministry, religious pride
245. 11:01is dismantled through repentance and
246. 11:04surrender. Repentance dethrons
247. 11:08Leviathan. Praying in tongues humbles
248. 11:11the spirit because it requires
249. 11:13dependence on the Holy Spirit, [snorts]
250. 11:16not your intellect. And prayer and
251. 11:18fasting softens the heart and tears down
252. 11:21spiritual arrogance. repentance,
253. 11:23surrender, tongues, and prayer and
254. 11:25fasting shut down Leviathan completely.
255. 11:28Now, why does this all matter? Because
256. 11:31many Christians misdiagnosed their
257. 11:33battles. They think like, "Oh, I'm just
258. 11:35stressed or oh, my spouse just doesn't
259. 11:39understand me or that person is such a
260. 11:42drama queen." when in reality a
261. 11:45Leviathan attack may be at work,
262. 11:47twisting communication, stirring
263. 11:49offense, fueling pride, creating
264. 11:51confusion, and dividing relationships.
265. 11:54Leviathan lurks and moves inside the
266. 11:58move of God, waiting for the opportune
267. 12:02time to attack and destroy. Scripture
268. 12:05tells us not to be ignorant of Satan's
269. 12:08devices, and Leviathan is one of those
270. 12:11devices. But now you recognize it. And
271. 12:14this is critical. Don't skip past this.
272. 12:18Here's exactly what you need to do.
273. 12:20Recognize what is really going on when
274. 12:22communication breaks down. And once
275. 12:24recognized, Leviathan must be bound in
276. 12:28the name of Jesus. Stop the interaction
277. 12:31and agree together in prayer. So here's
278. 12:34exactly what to pray. Are you ready?
279. 12:37>> [snorts]
280. 12:38>> In the name of Jesus, I bind the spirit
281. 12:40of Leviathan. You are not allowed in my
282. 12:43home, my marriage or my ministry. I
283. 12:45command you to leave now in Jesus' name.
284. 12:49Holy Spirit, fill this space with your
285. 12:51peace and your truth in the name of
286. 12:54Jesus. Once the spirit is bound, the
287. 12:56atmosphere can clear immediately and the
288. 12:59issues that cause the conflict like
289. 13:01testiness or twisted arguments can
290. 13:03disappear. That's the twisting we talked
291. 13:06about earlier, but now you know how to
292. 13:09break it. Here's the good news. Every
293. 13:13tactic of Leviathan has a God-given
294. 13:16weapon that defeats it. Truth defeats
295. 13:18twisting. Humility defeats pride. Unity
296. 13:22defeats division. The Holy Spirit
297. 13:25defeats confusion. Repentance defeats
298. 13:29spiritual and religious arrogance.
299. 13:32Prayer breaks resistance. Fasting breaks
300. 13:34strongholds and praying in tongues
301. 13:36releases clarity, revelation, and
302. 13:39spiritual authority. Listen, Jesus
303. 13:41already crushed the head of Leviathan.
304. 13:45If you're fighting, you're fighting from
305. 13:47a place of victory, not for victory.
306. 13:50Always remember that you are not
307. 13:51powerless. You are not confused. You are
308. 13:54not without help. You are filled with
309. 13:56the Holy Spirit, the spirit of God. And
310. 13:58the spirit of God knows exactly how to
311. 14:01defeat Leviathan every single time. What
312. 14:04Leviathan twists, God will straighten.
313. 14:07What Leviathan divides, God will
314. 14:10restore. What Leviathan confuses, God
315. 14:14will clarify. And what Leviathan
316. 14:16inflates through pride, God will bring
317. 14:20low. I'll leave the playlist to this
