1:55a man praise God and we're coming to the
2:01most important time in this service and
2:05that is to hear the word of the Lord
2:07what thus saith the Lord you know I've
2:11been praying that that God would give us
2:16a word and by that I mean there's many
2:19folks here
2:20preachers Saints young people folks
2:24living for God and there's many needs
2:27and there's different seasons in life
2:30and there's different places in life and
2:33folks are at different places but but
2:36sometimes we just need a word from the
2:38Lord and I've been praying that God
2:41would meet each individual need whatever
2:47that is let's worship the Lord
2:49hallelujah ah let's wash up the law
2:53thank you Jesus praise God praise God
2:58we're going to ask that there be no no
3:02unnecessary running in and out tonight
3:07everyone please be seated somewhere we
3:11have a very very capable preacher
3:12tonight brother Copeland brother
3:15Copeland for many years twenty-something
3:18years was an evangelist preached in many
3:21of our churches blessed many of our
3:25congregations for the last 17 years he
3:29has been in Buford Georgia I just came
3:33from there a couple of weeks ago and I
3:37was with them years ago when they first
3:40started and they're in a bigger
3:44sanctuary now God has really blessed
3:47them in Buford Georgia and they have
3:50branch works and they're just doing a
3:52good work there in the Atlanta Georgia
3:54area and brother Copeland is a very very
3:58capable preach
3:59and we want him to come tonight and we
4:04want to open our hearts and let him feed
4:08us with the good word of the Lord let's
4:12worship the Lord his brother Copeland
4:13comes to the name of the Lord thank you
4:22Jesus and everybody say praise the Lord
4:27hallelujah isn't it good to be in the
4:29house of the Lord tonight nothing like
4:32coming to God's house and feeling his
4:35presence the Bible says in the house of
4:38the righteous there is much treasure and
4:40the revenues of the wicked there's
4:43trouble and there's so much trouble
4:46outside this building there's trouble in
4:49our world but there's a lot of treasure
4:53still in the house of God I'm so glad so
4:57glad I'm in God's house part of God's
5:01people it's an honor to be a little part
5:05of this conference this year I love and
5:08appreciate elder Martin so much I cannot
5:14tell you how much he's meant to my life
5:16and my wife and four boys but we love
5:21the elder and he has been a shining
5:24light an example high-water mark for us
5:30to look at and follow after I love him
5:36so much thank God for this great great
5:38church here in Fresno all the daughter
5:41works and what God's doing I want the
5:45Lord to help us tonight I really need
5:47the Lord's help tonight I want to obey
5:51the Lord I want to do what God would
5:54have me to do I don't feel very capable
5:59tonight you mentioned that word capables
6:03few times here tonight and
6:05but I need the Lord to help me and I
6:08won't obey him seem like I've just had
6:11some confusion about this night I wants
6:16to pray tonight can we let's just pray
6:18that the Lord would help us tonight God
6:21we love you hallelujah we love you Jesus
6:24we thank you for your goodness and mercy
6:26God to help me tonight god I pray that
6:57you would help us tonight God speak to
6:59us tonight God talk to us that night God
7:03Alleluia I know that people have gone to
7:06a great expense to come to this meeting
7:09and people have come hungry to hear from
7:14the Lord and we certainly we certainly
7:18need to hear from God don't we and you
7:21hear from him
7:22Alleluia with the Lord to speak to us
7:28tonight get your Bibles mark chapter 14
7:35mark chapter 14 and verse 32
7:45I wouldn't say that this would be an
7:52ordinary message for a night like
7:55tonight but seems like this is what I'm
8:01feeling tonight mark chapter 14 and
8:08verse 32 and they came to a place which
8:19was called Gethsemane he said to his
8:23disciple said he here while I shall pray
8:26and he taketh with him Peter and James
8:29and John and began to be sore amazed and
8:33to be very heavy and saith unto them my
8:40soul is exceedingly sorrowful unto death
8:43tear you here and watch and he went
8:47forward a little and fell on the ground
8:49and prayed that if it were possible the
8:53hour might pass from him and he said our
8:58Father all things are possible unto thee
9:01take away this cup from me nevertheless
9:05not what I will but what thou wilt and
9:10he cometh and findeth them sleeping and
9:14said to Peter Simon sleep us down
9:17because not they'll watch one hour what
9:21she had pray lest ye enter into
9:23temptation spirit truly is ready but the
9:27flesh is weak and again he went away and
9:31prayed and state the same words and when
9:34he returned he found them asleep again
9:38for their eyes were heavy
9:42neither which they want to and
9:47sure him and he cometh the third time
9:50and said unto them sleep on now and take
9:53your ease it is enough the hour has come
9:56behold the Son of Man is betrayed into
9:59the hands of sinners rise up let us go
10:06lo he that betrayeth me is at hand
10:11hallelujah would like to say that I'm
10:18glad to have my wife and four boys and
10:20we've got about 20 of our folks from
10:23Georgia here with us tonight and so glad
10:26to have them with us today
10:29hallelujah thank you Lord for your word
10:32anointed and speak to our hearts Jesus
10:35name that you will be done tonight amen
10:39you can be seated the setting of the
10:50scripture that I read in your hearing
10:51tonight was the hour of Jesus Christ's
10:55greatest trial and temptation Jesus
11:01tells his disciples to wait probably
11:04somewhere within the entrance of that
11:07Garden of Gethsemane I want you to wait
11:10here while I shall pray and he took
11:12three hand-picked disciples with him
11:16Peter James and John and they went
11:18deeper into this garden and the Bible
11:22lets us know that as they went that he
11:25began to be sore amazed and very heavy
11:29these men these Friends of the Lord
11:32Jesus Christ had seen him in times pass
11:36over three and a half years and no doubt
11:40they at times had seen a great burden in
11:43his heart and in his life but I do not
11:46believe that they had ever seen the
11:48agony etched across his face like they
11:51saw that night in disseminate place of
11:55pressing
11:57Jesus tells his disciples my soul is
12:00exceedingly sorrowful even unto death it
12:05was a sorrow that could have actually
12:07exploded his heart and broken his heart
12:09and a sorrow that he could have died of
12:13it was beyond sorrowful it was
12:16exceedingly sorrowful unto death Jesus
12:20Christ makes the requests of these
12:22disciples I want you to tarry here and
12:24watch and pray while I go and pray and
12:28he went and he knelt down and he began
12:32to pray and I've seen pictures of the
12:34Lord praying in the Garden of Gethsemane
12:36I've never seen a picture that I believe
12:39really depict the scene of that night
12:42most of the time he is very carefully
12:46knelt before a large rock and his hands
12:49are folded very pious and his face is
12:52turned toward the heavens and there's a
12:54glow of the heavens light upon his
12:57countenance and there he prays but I do
13:01not believe that was really the print
13:04the picture the Bible lets us know that
13:06he prayed in such anguish that his sweat
13:09was as great drops of blood falling upon
13:12the ground
13:13it was a pressing beyond anything that
13:16he had ever experienced in his life and
13:18and he prayed earnestly and he his heart
13:22was filled with sorrow beyond
13:25imagination after Jesus Christ had
13:28prayed for an hour so he he comes and
13:31times his disciples are sleeping these
13:34men that had seen the agony on his face
13:36these men that wanted to stand by their
13:41master he found them asleep after they
13:45had heard his plea for help and that the
13:48Lord had asked them could you please
13:51help and pray with me and Jesus comes
13:54and finds them asleep but he asked them
13:56ask Peter Peters Simon has you not
14:00watched with me one hour and out you
14:03pray with me again Jesus goes away any
14:06praise and he
14:07the same words and it prays the same
14:10prayer if it be thy will let this cup
14:13pass from me nevertheless not my will
14:14but thy will be done after about an hour
14:18pray and he returns again the second
14:21time and he finds them asleep the Bible
14:24says for their eyes were heavy and then
14:27it says neither which they want to
14:29answer him I can see the Apostle Peter
14:33rubbing his eyes and shaking his head
14:35that's Jesus awakens him and the other
14:38disciples and and I he said could not
14:41see what's with me and and the Bible
14:44let's just know they had no answer for
14:46why their eyes were heavy and while
14:49there was a unexplainable heaviness and
14:54a sleepiness that had got ahold of them
14:57he goes back to the third time and he
14:59prays and the Bible says that he comes
15:02back and he finds them sleep the third
15:04time and he finally says arise let us be
15:08going behold the Son of Man is betrayed
15:10into the hands of sinners at a time that
15:14Jesus needed his disciples the most they
15:18were asleep and they they had seen the
15:22agony they had seen the heaviness but
15:25yet they could not stay awakened why
15:28were they not able to stay awake they
15:30were not able to stay awake because of
15:33the power of the night there was a power
15:36that had kept them at that time and they
15:40did not realize what they were up
15:42against just a couple hours ago in this
15:45part of the world the Sun went down and
15:49it was the close of another day it began
15:54to get dark around here and there were
15:57people that turn their lights on and
15:59some of you most of you started getting
16:01ready for church and preparing yourself
16:04to come to the house of the Lord but
16:07while this was all going on there was a
16:10power that began to grip this part of
16:13the world as the Sun began to set and
16:16the shadows begin to linger and begin
16:18to get dusky dark all of a sudden
16:21flowers begin to feel the power of what
16:25was creeping slowly over this part of
16:28the country these flowers begin to cut
16:31themselves and close their petals for
16:34the night them animals of the day birds
16:37begin to try to find a nest try to find
16:40a place of lodging instinct told them
16:44that it was time to find some shelter
16:46and squirrels begin to try to find a
16:49little hole in the tree or some nest
16:52that had been prepared and because they
16:55knew by Nature that the Sun was setting
16:57and darkness was coming and there was a
17:00need of protection even we as human
17:04beings even though that this phenomena
17:06happens every 24 hours if you'll be
17:11honest with yourself when darkness comes
17:13to our world you step out of your house
17:16at night and begin to make your way to
17:18your car we're a little more skittish at
17:21night than we are in the daytime when
17:24the Sun begins to set and begins to get
17:27dark as you begin to kind of look around
17:30maybe unconsciously you kind of kind of
17:33scanned the area and when darkness is
17:36there everything looks different at
17:39night everything seems to be shaped
17:41different the shadows and and if you're
17:44not careful your imagination can run
17:46away with you and and you can see things
17:49that are not really there it's the power
17:52of the nighttime men that work for night
17:56shift
17:56I'm told that even though that they may
17:58sleep during the daytime and and on the
18:01night shift sometimes for months and
18:03months and even though that they sleep
18:06in the day and they try to get eight
18:08hours of sleep and they go to work at
18:10night them I have been told that even
18:13though they may be awake and may be
18:14rested twelve o'clock comes and one
18:17o'clock in the morning and two o'clock
18:19in the morning and three o'clock in the
18:21morning and somewhere in the darkness of
18:24the night as the hours begin to slowly
18:28pass by
18:29hallelujah two or three o'clock in the
18:31darkest hours of the night and men tend
18:35to have a problem of staying awake let's
18:38just say sleepiness that seems to get
18:40ahold of them darkness seems to affect
18:43them the power of the night doctors tell
18:47us that more people die at night than
18:50they do in the daytime as a man as a
18:53pastor and being up with people in the
18:56night and at hospitals there's something
18:59about the night that does that more
19:01people die at night than they do during
19:04the daytime there's a power of darkness
19:07that affects light and so these
19:10disciples they were sleepy and there was
19:13a reason why they were sleepy these men
19:17that had a devotion toward their God
19:19that these men that for three and a half
19:21years and faithfully followed the Lord
19:24Jesus Christ these three hand-picked
19:27disciples that were called out to stand
19:30by his side at this most trying time
19:34Aloha bees that had seen the sorrow and
19:38the pain and the pressure hallelujah
19:40extra cross his countenance and knew
19:43that he needed them like he had never
19:45needed them before he had asked him
19:48please stay awake would you please pray
19:52with me in this hour
19:54hallelujah don't allow yourself to fall
19:57into temptation and go to sleep I do not
20:00believe that these men had a desire to
20:02fail their Lord and they wanted to be
20:06awake but they did not understand the
20:08power of what they were against them
20:11hallelujah they failed to be with him
20:14when they needed him he needed them the
20:16most because of the power of the night
20:20um I want to tell this congregation but
20:23it's night time for the Apostolic Church
20:26in this hour that we live an end
20:28hallelujah was night time for the
20:31disciples and it's night time in 2010
20:35for this blood boat apostolic Jesus name

20:42and I believe it was hiding what we're
20:45fighting what Jesus Christ mentioned in
20:48his it is parable when he said the
20:50kingdom of heaven shall be likened it in
20:53virgins
20:54however the wise and father than foolish
20:57and the Bible says that when they were
21:00talking about him coming and they had
21:02gathered together to be ready for his
21:04coming the Bible says it while they some
21:07bird and self the bridegroom came I
21:13don't know about you but I've been
21:16preaching now over 40 years and I am
21:19fighting sleeping is more than I've ever
21:21fought sleeping this before tell me it
21:24seems like you can get so much out of a
21:27Sunday night service and you can be
21:30ready to arise Monday morning for the
21:32challenge hallelujah you want to be
21:35awake you want to be on your toes I've
21:37got the practice of consciousness of
21:40God's presence in my life where we're
21:43every waking moment Oh God would you let
21:45me be sensitive that hallelujah that the
21:48judge is standing at the door and and
21:50the Sun is setting in we're racing
21:52against time and yet there is a
21:56sleepiness these disciples were asleep
21:59because it was night spiritually
22:01speaking them and they were asleep in
22:03this garden the law had been fulfilled
22:05and the Sun of Christ day was setting
22:09and all around the corn in the corner
22:12the day of grace would soon dawn but as
22:16for now it was night and these disciples
22:18were asleep hallelujah Jesus had come
22:21and live for thirty three and a half
22:23years and he had been a wonderful day a
22:25ministry of three and a half years he
22:28did more to change the course of this
22:30world than any any ruler has ever
22:34performed a change in any nation has
22:38ever changed the world and just in just
22:41three and a half years
22:42Jesus had impacted this world that we
22:45are a part of him but now it seemed that
22:48the Sun was setting and there was a
22:49bathroom there was a dog dolphin and
22:52here he was at a place suppressing and
22:55and it seemed as far as what could be
22:57seen by the national high that that this
22:59was the devil's finest hour I want to
23:02tell you the devil is a master at taking
23:04advantage of the darkness hallelujah he
23:07is a master at taking advantage of those
23:10times in our lives when we have stepped
23:12out of the bright light of Revelation
23:14and glory in it we find ourself where it
23:17seems like it ever star is falling out
23:20of our heavens in it and then where is
23:22God and I'll tell you where God's at
23:24that God's worries always been having a
23:27gods fear on the premises hallelujah God
23:31is still controlling it hallelujah this
23:33apostolic church that we're a part of
23:35we've got something to shout about and
23:38be positive about in it this is an hour
23:40of great revival and great overcoming
23:43them hallelujah but sometimes we don't
23:46feel like he's anywhere around us
23:51hallelujah the devil is a master at
23:54taking advantage of the night the Bible
23:58says he died a roaring lion walketh
23:59about seeking whom he may devour
24:02hallelujah several years ago in Life
24:04Magazine there was a story of a pride of
24:08lions these reporters went out with
24:14high-powered cameras and night-vision
24:17goggles and they began to study this
24:20pride of lions and and they spent
24:23several weeks watching them and studying
24:25the habits and he didn't take them very
24:28long to find out that it was the female
24:30lion in this pride that was the hunter
24:34of the family these lives would sleep
24:37all day long and in the afternoon and
24:40the early evening as the Sun would start
24:42to set they would watch this lioness and
24:45all of a sudden she would begin to stir
24:47herself and she would begin to slowly
24:49stretch her muscles and at first her
24:52movements were just just very slow and
24:55not very frequent but does he was
24:57getting ready and she was waking up and
24:59and after a while she would get on her
25:02feet and and her eyes would be ablaze as
25:05he would look out across them that open
25:08and and she was she was looking at he
25:11was searching and and but she was
25:13motionless for a while and and then
25:15after a little while she would start
25:17taking a few steps and she would slowly
25:19begin to move away from the other
25:23members of that pride and and she would
25:26slowly begin to move into an area where
25:29there was a watering hole and and she
25:32took a time and with with every minute
25:36and that passed the Sun was slowly
25:38setting and the shadows were lingering
25:41and it was getting a little darker in it
25:43what was she waiting for he knew her
25:46in-seat that if she was going to make a
25:48kill she would have to take advantage of
25:51the nighttime hallelujah she was waiting
25:54for it to get just a little bit darker
25:56and she was waiting just for the night
25:59to come on and I just want to tell some
26:02folks here that I'm hallelujah we have
26:04an adversary that knows how to take
26:07advantage of the nighttime hello you
26:09when we begin to slide away from that
26:12power that has been built and we begin
26:14to slip away from the the saints of God
26:17around us and we forget them
26:19our attitude and our are a pigeon is
26:22toward things that that are not becoming
26:24to what we are supposed to be interested
26:27in it hallelujah all the devil he knows
26:30when to make his move hello it's not
26:33when you begin to slide away and you
26:35begin to not pray the way you need to
26:37pray that that something suddenly
26:39happens the devil smart enough to
26:41realize that he wants everything and it
26:44is advantage when he begins to make the
26:47move and this this lion he was waiting
26:51for the time to come he was waiting for
26:54it to get a little bit darker oh I want
26:58to tell you we need to understand what
27:00time it is and in 2010 hello it's
27:04getting dark in the United States of
27:06America
27:07hello you're the common citizens they're
27:09not thinking the way they used to think
27:11yet hallelujah somebody's traded and
27:14change the past bags of life but in all
27:17the good ol America the God's here in
27:19America
27:20we have been apart after I want to tell
27:22you this world is getting ready for the
27:24Antichrist this world is getting ready
27:26for the mark of the beast this radius
27:29near this world is getting ready for the
27:31last judgment of this day an hour but if
27:35the day of salvation it's a day of
27:37revival it's a day to realize hey we
27:40gotta stay awake
27:42we gotta realize and were the people
27:44that has the message we have the answer
27:47to a loss in a dying world hallelujah we
27:50have an answer to the darkness
27:52that's being expelled assailed upon this
27:54world and we're a part of it's a sad
28:07thing you wanna say to God falls to
28:09sleep it's a sad thing when the pictures
28:11of the wheel he the pastor and he goes
28:14to sleep sweetly hello is it's agony I
28:17want a day when you go to sleep it's
28:18like almost being unconscious
28:22you know doctors can put you to sleep
28:25hello they can lay you on a table and
28:27they can open you up hello you they can
28:30take your heart out and hold it in their
28:33hands and it don't even bother you
28:36because your soul sleep oh yes they've
28:40done something to you to put you to
28:42sleep I remember a few years ago my dad
28:45had open-heart surgery and we went to
28:47Houston Texas and I was in evangelizing
28:51in those days and took off and men and
28:53was there with him and the family and
28:55him it was a very scary time for all of
28:58us and so they they cut him open and
29:02they pried his his his rib cage open in
29:05it and they reached on the inside and
29:07grabbed hold of his heart and to begin
29:09to cuddle and they begin to work on it
29:11and he had open-heart surgery and the
29:14doctor came in a little while we were
29:16all anxious and he said everything's
29:17fine everything's okay you know
29:21everything went well and we're just
29:23gonna push him into the recovery room
29:25and a little while you'll be able to go
29:28see him everything's okay when I found
29:30out when a doctor tells you everything's
29:32fine
29:33it doesn't really mean that that
29:35everything's fine I just happen to be
29:37sitting there in the right place where
29:39when when the door opened up and they
29:41pushed him across the hall into the
29:43recovery room hallelujah I was amazed to
29:47see his countenance and he looked more
29:49dead than he was alive and it was a
29:52fearful thing and when we went in and I
29:54laid my hand upon his his his hand in
29:57his arm and it was as cold as ice um no
30:00color in his face and and I thought dear
30:04God
30:04hello he's everything but but all right
30:07that they had put him in such a deep
30:09sleep he was so cold and he was so
30:12unconscious and he looked more dead than
30:15he did alive I want to tell you
30:17something the devil is time to put
30:19people to sleep right on our views hello
30:22me I'm finding in our church I'm finally
30:25done hallelujah my prayer room I'm
30:27partnered hallelujah my days of
30:30evangelism and trying to get people to
30:32Clemen knock doors and peace of Bible
30:34study in it how do you look at it you
30:36see people that their eyes are open but
30:39there's a deep sleep that is falling
30:41upon them I'm seeing young people that
30:44the devil is opening their mouths let
30:45hell yeah
30:47and we sit down on the inside of anomie
30:49he's got ahold of their heart and the
30:51sneaking things that they never thought
30:53before and the same place he Thames it
30:55but there I thought they would say in it
30:57and it seems that they become
30:59unconscious it the divorce of the
31:01preacher the power the word of the Lord
31:03is rosters have left it in their eyes it
31:06and sometimes you said my God wasn't
31:08gonna take that to wake him up Oh God
31:11wasn't gonna take it that caused him to
31:13come out of the spiritual coma that
31:16they're in yeah hallelujah hallelujah
31:24sometimes we will just get comfortable
31:27with it sometimes we're allowing our
31:30children to go to sleep in the cradle of
31:32our own church and I'm gonna say I go to
31:35church sometimes and I
31:37look at it realistic I got you know
31:40babies maybe a few centers out there and
31:42then I get to looking and I find out how
31:43many people I get to look at the people
31:45that really need the printer is and
31:47really need something fresh and what
31:49would happen if the Lord would come in
31:51the top of God would sound sometimes we
31:53get comfortable with it with members of
31:55our family not where they ought to be in
31:57it and we just rock them to sleep in our
31:59church and we sing the same old songs in
32:02it we say the same old things and it
32:04hello your church becomes a routine
32:06Oh God needs to give us a divine
32:09interruption in our life hallelujah to
32:12God we need to build a bonfire we need
32:14to we need to scratch some things out
32:16but we need to get a pressed bourbon
32:20hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah
32:24hallelujah sometimes they're not in
32:27recovery sometimes our times I found
32:31that in the recovery room
32:32that's just watching to see if you're
32:34gonna lay over you're gonna die look at
32:45that line position herself that lioness
32:49hello the Sun had set and it was it was
32:53not easily easy to see all of a sudden
32:56there was a zebra that came walking down
32:58that path that game trail to that
33:01waterhole and they began to watch it
33:03this this line was taken advantage of
33:06the darkness hallelujah oh yes taking
33:11advantage of the darkness
33:13look at that can't lay there and the
33:16story told of how quick pit a lioness
33:19like this could reach top speed of about
33:2250 miles an hour it's just in a matter
33:24of a few feet a little do they have a
33:27burst of energy and a burst of speed
33:30they can't run for a long distance but
33:33and in just a few seconds that can be a
33:35top speed and how did this this line is
33:38skate out of a bush and jumped in there
33:41and caught that zebra by the back of the
33:43neck and before that animal knew what
33:46was going on
33:47it was over with it was too late
33:49Oh Jeremiah 4 & 9 says the line has come
33:53out of the thicket and the destroyer of
33:56the Gentiles is only his way
33:59hallelujah can anybody feel a change
34:01from the climate in the world that we're
34:03in tonight and can anybody feel a change
34:06in the time of government and
34:08philosophies in that hallelujah oh yes
34:11I'm going to tell you this is an hour
34:12where the line is about to come out of
34:15the picketing and invested there that's
34:17great destruction that's coming upon the
34:19land hallelujah hallelujah I've set up
34:26with sick people at night and I have I
34:29remember as a child I had an uncle that
34:31had emphysema and I went to spend a week
34:34with him when I was about nine years old
34:37he bought me a pocket knife and he used
34:41to be a wiggler which stood on the front
34:43porch and with whittling and he had tell
34:46me all kinds of stories and I enjoyed it
34:49so much that first day I was with him
34:51uncle Edward he was just so personable
34:54and so sweet nice and but he had a
34:56disease called in for Zeeman it seemed
34:59like he was just Donald that day and we
35:01went to bed that night and I went to
35:03sleep in and about the two o'clock in
35:05the morning all of a sudden I heard a
35:07stirring in the house and noise and all
35:09of a sudden I heard a machine go in and
35:11it was all strange to me I jumped out of
35:14bed and and I ran over to the bedside of
35:17my uncle and and my aunt was there
35:19working with him and they had a machine
35:20on him and the oxygen was being put in
35:23and he was fighting for brandy ever
35:26breath was yesterday a struggle and he
35:29was trying to get oxygen in those lungs
35:31he was having a talk of this this
35:33emphysema
35:34and I yeah scared me to death I thought
35:37at any moment he was going to die all
35:40the lights were turned down low in it
35:42and had this man that I thought was just
35:44a normal man everything was fine with
35:46him hallelujah sickness had come on him
35:49up on him in the night and and he was he
35:52was fighting to breathe he was
35:54to survive and ever so often my uncle
35:58Edward would say what time is it and
36:00then tell him what time it was and if I
36:03didn't fighting a little bit later you
36:06said what time is it and they tell him
36:08what time it was it seemed like ever
36:10theater 15 minutes he was wanting to
36:12know what time it was and then I heard
36:14him said oh I'm just make it two more
36:17days that I I just wish it was morning I
36:20was who was the Sun would come up he
36:22just had a feeling that things would be
36:24better in him he just had a feeling that
36:26he could get a light on the situation he
36:29could overcome this thing this time to
36:31smother him and time to take his life
36:33I'll tell you what he was it it was the
36:36power of the night hallelujah it was the
36:39power of the night and I would say it's
36:42dangerous to be walking out of the
36:44church and in the day that we're living
36:47in and it's dangerous to be not frequent
36:50in the prayer room in it and get shot on
36:52your consecration and reading your Bible
36:55in this day an hour they were living in
36:57it my god when it's search time you're
37:01just set it home when church is going on
37:04and God speaking and things are
37:06happening and people are shaking the
37:08devil off to get the levers and chains
37:11are being broken I'm gonna tell you the
37:13only way we're going to be saving this
37:15in time but we got to keep close to the
37:17fire we got to keep the lights on I like
37:20I said we got to keep the lights on in
37:22our eyes hallelujah hallelujah want to
37:26church starts getting dark when the
37:28church loses a spirit of worship and
37:30praise and enthusiasm and favor it's
37:33time for somebody to flip the lights on

37:44when I came to Buford Georgia we had a
37:46problem with bats Ellie our attic was
37:50filled with bats
37:51I stood one even encountered 87 of them
37:55as the Sun begins to set they start to
37:56get a little darker I've seen them
37:58coming out of a little hole there near
38:00the roof and flying off and flying off
38:03and final 89 of the
38:05hallelujah you know what I'll figure it
38:07out I figured out I gotta get rid of
38:09these pants and you know what I came up
38:11with say what again I've done something
38:13just it was a lot of work but I did it I
38:16climbed up in the attic and I turned the
38:19lights on I got me an extension cord and
38:22I got me a light bulb and a turn the
38:25lights on and guess what happened
38:27hallelujah we got rid of every bad in
38:29the church
38:30hallelujah oh it's dark tonight it's
38:33dark tonight that the devil is operating
38:36at hallelujah people tonight he stands
38:39did arrested person he was the treasure
38:42chest wide open and he wants to grab a
38:44hoodie a heart that he wants to start
38:47controlling much strings in your life
38:49but I'm gonna die you your only answer
38:51in a red-hot praying through the Holy

39:48power of the night there's a
39:56penitentiary in Louisiana it's got quite
39:59a reputation back in years past it
40:02really did and we had Pentecost with men
40:05that worked at this penitentiary and
40:08they would talk about men on death row
40:10some of them young men how that they
40:14would go to some of them that were
40:16sentenced to die and they were going
40:18the electric chair the next morning they
40:20tell some young boy about 21 or 22 years
40:23old we're going to be we're going to be
40:26giving you a breakfast in the morning if
40:28you whatever you want to eat we're going
40:31to fix it for you and you're going to
40:34eat your last meal and and then we're
40:36going to take you down the hall Gary and
40:40you're going to lose your life with a
40:42mixer future
40:45they told however they watch a man spend
40:49his last night so these young boys were
40:53sentenced to die they'd be in a Cell and
40:56they'd be Restless that last night come
40:59time to turning the lights out and
41:01everybody's getting ready to go to bed
41:03but not the man that just had a few
41:05hours to live he didn't want to go to
41:07bed he didn't want to go to sleep he'd
41:10start walking back and forth in that
41:12cell god only knows the faults in his
41:15mind maybe he was repentant in those
41:18last hours and thinking of how it could
41:20have been different what he had done to
41:21his mama how he had made crazy mistakes
41:25what caused him to take the wrong road
41:27and if he could have done it different
41:29had another chance
41:30back and forth members of what could
41:33have been and ten o'clock eleven o'clock
41:36twelve o'clock midnight in he's still
41:38walking one o'clock in the morning they
41:40look in on him and he was still restless
41:42and walking back maybe not walking quite
41:44as fast as he was and one birdie and two
41:48o'clock in the morning and then they
41:50would see these voices they just kind of
41:52slowed down hallelujah in the middle of
41:55the night and three o'clock in the
41:57morning and they're just dragging it and
41:59four o'clock and they've set down on
42:01their bumpkin and they holding their
42:04head in their hands and they don't want
42:07to go sleep they won't stay awake
42:09something happened they they want to
42:11stay awake they want they want to try to
42:13squeeze out whatever they can squeeze
42:14out of what life so were left they want
42:17to get something out of it they don't
42:19want to die they don't want to die
42:20they're too young to die
42:22helloyou but they say it's a terrible
42:24thing to see the power of sleepiness in
42:27the night and the darkness and the
42:28blight missing and nobody talking in
42:31all the other prisoners asleep and
42:33finally to see them the head goes back
42:36in and then finally they found the fall
42:38asleep and they talked about her play
42:41over the years open that sale see that
42:44young boy lay in there he's so full
42:47alive and and he just looks like a boy
42:50so he looks like just a young boy and
42:53then a healthy body and he he should
42:56have lived for so many more years and
42:58the terribleness of being able to shake
43:00him and shake it hey you gotta get up I
43:03gotta wake ya I gotta wait you have to
43:05die that's what I've got to do I've
43:06gotta wake ya
43:07do you still ask me a lot well they
43:10didn't want to go to sleep they did not
43:12want to go to sleep but it was the power
43:15of the night oh yes we had people that
43:18day that they wouldn't argue with me I
43:20know I'm not what I need to be tonight I
43:22know that deep down inside that some
43:24things are working on them I know that
43:27there's some things I need to get right
43:28if if I knew Jesus was coming tonight
43:31I'd get in the altar and I'd make things
43:33right I'd reconsecrate myself to the
43:35work of God I wouldn't just sit in the
43:38pew and be a floater and just be a
43:39spectator and watch everybody else I
43:42know I'm not in the will of God I know I
43:44don't have the favor of God I know God
43:47loves me and God be merciful to me but
43:49I'd be afraid I'd be afraid to meet God
43:51tonight them hallelujah but all who is
43:54it gonna be that somebody's gonna wake
43:55you up when it's already too late is it
43:58going to be the sound of the trumpet and
44:00the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ in a
44:02church no more in and the states of God
44:05dawn and the preacher down and you wake
44:07up to die
44:21Jocelin the Bible was in the midst of a
44:23battle going on and the son was sick and
44:27he had a lot of victory but he and had
44:29as much as he wanted he was still alive
44:32with vision but God was older didn't
44:34he'll lose all of a sudden he prayed an

45:03sleeping a bolide it's time for us to

45:07lights all around us we've got too many
45:09neighbors and friends and we got to need
45:11backsliders it's march into hell and on
45:14the way to handle we we got too many
45:16people that jump leading the way there's

47:13what the world needs this is no time to
47:15kind of hide our message and put a
47:17higher holiness at our standards of who
47:20we are there's no time to get on the
47:22internet and have some kind of website
47:25when you got pictures of people that
47:27don't even have a Holy Ghost because
47:29you're afraid the world of Revelation
