2:04Glory to God. Let's pray. Our father and
2:07our God, we give you praise and honor
2:08and glory for tonight. We pray for your
2:11anointing. It's your anointing that
2:13breaks yolks. We thank you, Father, that
2:16when we complete this series, we will
2:18have had a paradigm shift of how we can
2:21actually be everything that you have
2:24called us to be, including being lights
2:26in this world, cities that are set on
2:28this hill and on a hill that cannot be
2:31hid. You have called us to be the head
2:33and not the tail, first and not last.
2:35And I pray, oh God, that tomorrow and
2:38the next day and the next year, we will
2:41be walking in our destiny. You have
2:44created this world for us to prosper in,
2:46lead in, so that we as ambassadors of
2:50righteousness and of truth can, Father,
2:53positively affect our families and
2:55communities and industries and
2:57governments and and this world until the
3:00kingdoms of this world are become the
3:01kingdoms of our Lord and of his Christ.
3:03And you shall reign forever and ever.
3:06BLESS US TONIGHT, OH GOD. Cause your
3:09people to be encouraged. Empower them,
3:13Father, not only to be able to discern
3:15what your will is, but to do your will.
3:19Father, we have many decisions that we
3:21have to make. And we are asking, Holy
3:23Spirit, that you would lead us, that you
3:25would give us the wisdom and knowledge,
3:27THAT YOU WOULD GIVE US the insight, the
3:29revelation, that you would give us the
3:31instruction, that you would give us the
3:33ability so that we can look at the
3:36options that are laid ahead of us and
3:38make those right decisions. You have
3:40presented before us are life and death.
3:43You have presented before us blessing
3:46and cursing. And today we choose life.
3:49We choose blessings in the name of
3:51Jesus. We decree and declare father that
3:54as we sit, as we hear, as we listen, as
3:57we meditate, Father, that you would give
4:00us the uh ability to take these
4:02principles and apply it to our lives
4:05that WE WOULD BE DOERS of the word and
4:07not only hearers only. bless our time
4:10together in Jesus' name. Amen. Someone
4:12bless the Lord.
4:15We are here with my life group tonight
4:18and we are digging deep and I know those
4:20of you that are around the world and you
4:22are in your life group, I know without a
4:25shadow of a doubt that tonight is going
4:27to be a blessing to you. I want to draw
4:29your attention to the book of Luke
4:30chapter 15. And in it there is a story
4:34about the prodigal son. Now, those of
4:37you that have heard the series Spiritual
4:39Maturation, we know he was prodical not
4:42because he was rebellious, but because
4:44he was immature. His father actually
4:46gave him permission to go out there and
4:49discover yourself. And he had an
4:51encounter where he came to himself where
4:53through a series of decisions, he ends
4:55up in the pig pan. But in this
4:57particular text, it's interesting if we
5:00go down starting from verse number um
5:0416, the Bible talks about him having an
5:07experience after he was sent uh into uh
5:10this this country to fill into a field
5:13to feed swines. Now, if you read uh
5:16scriptures when the Bible uh begins to
5:20talk about how Jesus taught concepts, he
5:23taught parables. And here we have
5:25another parable that is speaking uh
5:28spoken uh of uh to the disciples by
5:30Jesus. And he was talking to them about
5:33the power of decisions. Uh and he used
5:36the example of a man having two sons.
5:39One decided to stay with his father and
5:42the other decided to go out and to uh uh
5:46find himself in the world.
5:48He comes to a place where he hits rock
5:51bottom. And verse number 16 said, "When
5:53he would fain have filled his belly with
5:56the husk that the swine did eat, no man
5:58gave unto him. And when he came to
6:00himself, he said, um, how many of my
6:03hired servants or many how many hired
6:06servants of my father's had bread enough
6:08to spare, and I perish with hunger? I
6:10will arise and go to my father and will
6:13say unto him, Father, I've sinned
6:14against heaven and earth. I'm no more
6:16worthy to be called thy son. Make me as
6:19one of thy hired servants." The Bible
6:21said, "And he arose and came to his
6:23father, and then he took 100%
6:27responsibility after he kissed and did
6:29all of the formalities. He said, "I've
6:31sinned against heaven and earth." Being
6:32able to take 100% responsibility for his
6:35life. Now, it's interesting because when
6:38we talk about destiny, a lot of people,
6:40it's still kind of mysterious uh
6:42concerning uh how we should live and
6:45what God has planned for our life. But
6:47destiny goes beyond just what God has
6:50planned for our lives. Is about us
6:52making a decision to be in sync with
6:55that plan. And uh a lot of us live our
6:58lives um pro uh reactive rather than
7:03proactive.
7:04And we have to become more proactive if
7:07we're going to see the will of God and
7:09the plan of God uh being expressed uh in
7:12in in such a way where we are actually
7:14making a difference in our industry in
7:17this world in our families uh as
7:19ambassadors of Christ. Now when he said
7:23to himself, in other words, up until
7:25that point he was driven by external um
7:28forces and even internal forces, one of
7:31them being immature immaturity. But when
7:34you mature in the things of the Lord,
7:36you will begin to discover that one of
7:39the greatest battlefields is your own
7:41mind. And um the wrestle that we have
7:45every single day. What's right? What
7:47should I do? There's so many options.
7:49Who who should I invite into my life?
7:51Who shouldn't I invite into my life?
7:53There's so much that is coming at us.
7:56But in Luke chapter 14, if you would
7:58turn there with me, please to verse
7:59number 28 to 30. The Bible said, "For
8:02which of you intending to build a tower
8:05does not sit down first and count the
8:07cost whether he has enough to finish it?
8:09Lest after he has laid the foundation
8:12and it is not able to finish, all who
8:14see it began to mock mock him saying
8:17this man began to build and was not able
8:20to finish." So which of you intending?
8:23This is the law of intention. And that
8:25word intending comes from a Greek word.
8:29fellow which means to will or to purpose
8:32or to determine or to resolve. When it
8:35comes to you making decisions, these are
8:38resolutions that you are making. You're
8:40resolving within your own self. It is it
8:43is an act of will. It's not an act of
8:45skill, but it's an act of will. Which of
8:48you intending? Because a lot of times we
8:51say, well, I don't have the education. I
8:53don't have the skill. but making a
8:55difference, doing something better,
8:58being able to improve the quality of
9:00your life, being able to improve the
9:02quality of your family, being able to
9:04send your children to the best of
9:06schools is not a skill, it's will. It's
9:09an act of of your will. Which of you
9:12intending using your will to build a
9:14tower does not sit down first and count
9:17the cost whether he has enough to finish
9:19it? So, you're going to sit down, you're
9:21going to meditate. So you go from
9:23intentions to thought. A lot of people
9:27don't have the future they dream of
9:29because they don't put enough thought
9:31into it. We allow other people's
9:33thoughts to determine where we're going.
9:36But as you think in your own heart, what
9:38you think about yourself, what you think
9:40that you are worth, what you think that
9:42that you can do, that's exactly what
9:44you're going to do. That's exactly what
9:46you're going to own because these are
9:48your thoughts. The Bible said, "Les,
9:50after he laid the foundation and is able
9:52to finish um and and is not able to
9:55finish, all who see it begin to mock
9:57him, saying this man began to build and
9:59was not able to finish." So this is
10:01action. So you go from intention to
10:04thought to action. So when it comes to
10:07your life, this is how uh destiny is
10:11birthed. It's birthed uh with with these
10:14three different it flows from these
10:16three different dimensions. So destiny
10:19flows from the dimension of thought and
10:22manifests itself as a product of
10:24intention and action through obediently
10:28following the word of the lord. So these
10:30are the three processes by which you
10:33make life decisions that that maintains
10:36or alters the path you take in life. So
10:39if you want to alter it, it's going to
10:42take thought, intention, and action. If
10:44you want to stay on the same path, it's
10:47going to take thought, intention, and
10:48action. You have to live your life
10:51intentionally. It's not about skill.
10:54It's about will. Listen to this. Daniel
10:56purposed in his heart that he would not
10:58eat from the king's table. And he
11:01didn't. David purposed in his heart that
11:04he would not sin against God. Which of
11:06you intending to build? Which of you are
11:09have have purposed in your heart? Which
11:12of you intending to build? It didn't
11:14only say build. It goes on. Which of you
11:17intending to battle? So, IT MEANS TO
11:20FIGHT FOR SOMETHING. WE'RE EITHER going
11:22to fight for a cause or we're going to
11:24fight for our rights. And I think about
11:27Gandhi and Martin Luther King and
11:29Mandela and Jesus. I think about women's
11:32rights and human rights and cancer and
11:34HIV and human trafficking and education
11:37and healthc care. Somebody is fighting
11:40for a cause. SO IF GOD IS calling you as
11:45a change agent, an agent of change, and
11:48if he's going to use you to MAKE A
11:50DIFFERENCE IN YOUR FAMILY, in your
11:52community, in industry, in this world,
11:54you're either going to intend to do
11:57something or to fight for something. WE
12:00WANT TO FIGHT FOR OUR FAMILY. We want to
12:02fight for our rights. And you're going
12:04to come up AGAINST OPPOSITION. BUT YOU
12:07DON'T FIGHT BECAUSE YOU'RE BEING
12:09OPPOSED. Opposition is there to
12:12determine how bad you want something and
12:14also for you to build muscle so that
12:16when God elevates you and promotes you,
12:18you have the muscle power to be
12:20sustained in that new realm or new level
12:23of influence or dominion or wherever God
12:26is taking you. I think about the woman
12:29with the issue of blood. It's in Matthew
12:31chapter uh 9 verse uh 20-22. The Bible
12:36said that she had been fighting for so
12:39long for her health. And the Bible said
12:42it was 12 years that she was fighting
12:44for her health. She wanted to get her
12:46health back. But then one day she
12:49happened across Jesus. And she said in
12:52herself, listen to this. She said in
12:54herself, THIS IS A PRODUCT OF THOUGHT.
12:57IF I MAY TOUCH HIS GARMENT, I shall be
13:00whole. That's an intention. I intend.
13:04HERE'S MY THOUGHTS. I DON'T WANT TO BE
13:06SICK. WHAT DO YOU WANT? I WANT TO BE
13:08HEALED. HOW ARE YOU GOING TO GET THERE?
13:10INTENTION. AND THAT INTENTION led to an
13:13action. SHE TOUCHED THE HEM OF HIS
13:16GARMENT and Jesus said, "BE OF GOOD
13:19COMFORT. THY FAITH have made you whole."
13:22Those are the three elements. Her
13:24thoughts, her intention, her action.
13:27WHEN YOU INTEND TO DO SOMETHING, HEAVEN
13:31CONSPIRES with earth to bring the
13:33resources together in order for your
13:36intentions to become a reality. People
13:39who try NEVER SUCCEED. YOU'VE got to
13:43intend to DO IT. YOU REMEMBER STAR WARS
13:46and they have Yoda and Yoda had this
13:48phrase, do or do not. You're either
13:51going to do it or you're not going to do
13:53it. But you're not going to intend to do
13:55something. If you intend to hit a,
13:57excuse me, if you try to hit a ball,
14:00you're never going to hit it. But if you
14:02say, "I intend to hit that ball," you're
14:05going to hit the ball. This is the
14:07product of thought. Let's back this up
14:09with scripture. Genesis chapter 2. This
14:12is the story of Abraham, verse number
14:15one. Genesis chapter 22, excuse me,
14:18verse number one. Genesis 22, verse
14:20number one.
14:22The scripture says and if you can go
14:24there Genesis uh chapter 22 verse number
14:28one the Bible said and it came to pass
14:30after these things that God did tempt
14:33Abram and said unto him Abram and he
14:35said behold here I am and he said take
14:38now thy son thy only son Isaac whom thou
14:42loveth and get thee into the land of
14:44Moriah and offer him there for a burnt
14:47offering upon one of the mountains which
14:49I tell thee off. Now, here's the caveat.
14:52Just because God asks you to do
14:54something, it doesn't mean that he
14:56requires you to do it. He just wants to
14:58know if you intend to do it. Because as
15:02the moment you intend to do something,
15:06heaven conspires with earth. I'm telling
15:09you. So, that means that there should
15:11never be a time where you're
15:13secondguing. Either you're going to be
15:15in or you're out. You don't have a plan
15:18A, plan B, plan C, plan D, plan E, plan
15:22F.
15:24This is This is plan A. There's no plan
15:26B, plan C, plan D. I'm going to do it,
15:29and it's going to work. The Bible said
15:31Abraham rose up early in the morning,
15:33settled his ass, took two of his young
15:36men with him, Isaac his son, and claimed
15:38the wood for the burnt offering, and
15:40rose up and went into the place which
15:42God had told him. Then on the third day,
15:45Abraham lifted up his eyes, saw the
15:47place a far off. Abraham said unto the
15:49young man, "Abide here with thy asses,
15:51and I and the lad will go yonder and
15:53worship, and come again to you." And
15:55Abraham took the wood of the burnt
15:57offering, laid it in it upon Isaac his
16:00son. He took the fire in his hand, and a
16:02knife, and they went both of them
16:05together. Isaac spake unto Abraham his
16:07father, and said, "My father." And he
16:09said, "Here I am, my son." And he said,
16:11"Behold the fire and the wood, but where
16:14is the lamb for the burnt offering?"
16:15Abraham said, "My son, God will provide
16:18himself a lamb." In other words, he
16:20asked me to do it. He's going to provide
16:23the lamb. Now, not you, but I know God
16:27is going to come through at this
16:29particular time for a burnt offering.
16:31So, they went both together and they
16:33came to the place which God had told him
16:36of. And Abraham built an altar there,
16:39laid the wood in the order, bond Isaac
16:41his son, laid him on the altar upon the
16:43wood. Abraham stretched forth his hand,
16:46took the knife to slay his son. And the
16:48angel of the Lord called unto him out of
16:51heaven, there is heaven, and said,
16:53Heaven and earth conspires. Called out
16:55of heaven, and said, Abram, Abram, he
16:57said, here am I. And he said, lay not
16:59thy hand upon the land, neither do thou
17:01anything unto him. For now I know that
17:04thou fears God. Seeing that thou has not
17:06withheld thy son, thy only son from me.
17:09Now he did not sacrifill him. He had the
17:13intention.
17:14So listen to this. As long as you intend
17:17to do something, God considers it it
17:20done.
17:22As long as you intend to do something,
17:26God considers it done.
17:30The Bible said,
17:32"And and and and and and Abraham lifted
17:34up his eyes and looked, and behold,
17:37behind him a ram called in the thicket
17:39by his horns. Abraham went took the ram,
17:43offered him up for the burnt offering in
17:44thestead of his son." And Abraham called
17:46the name of the place Jehovah, as he
17:49said, "This day in the mount of the
17:50Lord, it shall be seen." Now, this is
17:53this is this is so interesting because
17:56it goes on. This is the story doesn't
17:58end. The angel of the Lord called unto
18:01Abraham out of heaven the second time
18:03and said, "By myself have I sworn, said
18:06the Lord, for because thou has done this
18:09thing, hath not withheld thy son." Now
18:12listen to me carefully. Whatever you
18:14withhold will improvise you. Whatever
18:16you give will prosper you. This is why
18:19the law of giving and and receiving, the
18:22law of seed time and harvest. This is
18:24why you have to understand the power of
18:27the seed. And I'm not talking about
18:29tithe. I'm not talking ABOUT YOUR
18:31OFFERING. WE ALREADY KNOW ABOUT THAT.
18:33WE'RE LEARNING ABOUT first fruit. BUT
18:36WHAT A LOT OF PEOPLE DON'T UNDERSTAND is
18:38the power of the seed. I was I was
18:41sitting in my my um kitchen kitchen
18:46about two days ago and I was sitting
18:48there and God said, "You're going so and
18:50so. when you get there, this is the seed
18:54I want you to give. And right away, I
18:57said, I intend to give it. And it wasn't
18:59a small seed. IT WAS A VERY LARGE SEED.
19:03And I said, I intend to give the seed.
19:05NOW, I HAVEN'T SHOWED UP AT THE CHURCH.
19:08NOBODY IN THE CHURCH HAS ASKED FOR A
19:10SEED. BUT I REALIZE THAT THE MOMENT I
19:14INTEND to give the seed, SOMETHING
19:16SUPERNATURAL WILL HAPPEN. THIS IS LONG
19:19BEFORE I GIVE IT. LONG BEFORE I GIVE IT.
19:22SO, I intend to GIVE THE SEED. WATCH
19:25WHEN I WHEN the next time we talk, I'M
19:28GOING TO TELL YOU of what God did uh to
19:32to uh bless me as a result of it. We got
19:37to get the revelation of the seed. And
19:40whenever whenever an opportunity is
19:43given for YOU TO GIVE A SEED, I want you
19:45to intend intentionally give it. and I
19:49want you to deliberately give it knowing
19:52that heaven is conspiring with earth to
19:55bring you THE HARVEST. NOW WATCH THIS.
19:58HE INTENDED TO GIVE THE SEED. VERSE
20:00NUMBER 15. And the angel of the Lord
20:03called unto Abraham out of heaven the
20:05second time and said, "By myself I have
20:07sworn, SAID THE LORD, FOR BECAUSE THOU
20:09HAVE DONE THIS THING, and hast not
20:11withheld thy son or thy seed, thine only
20:14son." In other words, there ain't
20:16nothing else. That in blessing I will
20:20bless thee. In multiplying I will
20:24multiply THY SEED AS THE STARS of the
20:26heaven and as the sand which is upon the
20:29seashore. Thy seed shall possess the
20:32gates of his enemy. And in thy seed
20:35shall all the nations of the earth be
20:37blessed because thou hast OBEYED MY
20:40VOICE. SO ABRAHAM returned unto his uh
20:42unto his young men and they rose up and
20:46went together into Beersa and Abraham
20:49dwelt in Bersea. Now this is FANTASTIC
20:52BECAUSE GOD said look this is what I
20:55required of you. You intended to do it.
20:58I did not I did not I did not require
21:01this is what I wanted you to do but I
21:04didn't require you to do it. But because
21:06you intended to do it, HERE IS YOUR
21:09HARVEST. YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE ENOUGH TO
21:12BLESS NATIONS. AND I LIKE THIS. NOT JUST
21:16ENOUGH TO BLESS YOUR FAMILY. YOU'RE
21:19GOING TO HAVE ENOUGH TO BLESS NATIONS.
21:21TWO YEARS AGO, three years ago, I
21:23STARTED A PROGRAM. IT'S called Adopt a
21:26City. SO, I'M NO LONGER JUST BLESSING
21:29CHURCHES. I'm blessing cities. And one
21:32day, I WILL BLESS NATIONS. ARE YOU
21:34HEARING ME? AND IT STARTED OUT WITH THE
21:36REVELATION OF THE SEED. I'M GOING TO
21:39PROPHESY ONE MORE time over your life.
21:42You are going to have the revelation of
21:45the seed. AND AS YOU GIVE BY REVELATION,
21:48I DECREE AND DECLARE GOD WILL BLESS YOU
21:51WITH SO MUCH THAT YOU WILL NOT ONLY BE A
21:54BLESSING TO YOUR IMMEDIATE FAMILY, YOUR
21:56EXTENDED FAMILY, AND YOUR COMMUNITY.
21:58YOU'RE GOING TO START BLESSING CITIES
22:00AND YOU'RE GOING TO BLESS NATIONS.
22:03THAT AMEN IS SUSPICIOUS.
22:06That amen is weak.
22:12YOU ARE GOING TO BE A BLESSING.
22:15AND THIS IS WHY YOU SHOULD NOT FEAR. AND
22:18THIS IS ONE OF THE AREAS THAT THE ENEMY
22:21CONTINUES TO FIGHT US IN BECAUSE
22:24FINANCES IS NOT THE ONLY SEED THAT YOU
22:27CAN GIVE. THERE'S a there's there's a a
22:30A A NUMBER OF SEED THAT YOU CAN GIVE.
22:33And as we LEARN ABOUT SEED, YOU'RE GOING
22:37TO LEARN HOW GOD IS GOING TO GIVE YOU A
22:40STRATEGY to get wealth.
22:42I decree it.
22:44And it is so. And it cannot be
22:46otherwise.
22:49Are you getting this? His destiny was
22:53altered through intention.
22:56and your destiny is going TO BE ALTERED.
22:59IT'S NOT JUST MAKING a decision.
23:02What do you intend TO DO? BECAUSE
23:05THERE'S A LOT OF US THAT MAKE decisions
23:08and we don't do nothing about it. I'm
23:10going to leave. I'm going to go. I'm
23:13going to change my job. I'm going to And
23:15we never We make this decision, BUT
23:18THERE'S NO corresponding intention.
23:22It means DEVIL TRY TO GET IN my way. I'm
23:25going to run you OVER DOING IT. YOU'RE
23:27NOT GOING TO STOP ME. AIN'T NO DEVIL, no
23:30demon, or no deacon that's going TO STOP
23:32ME. THIS IS WHAT I intend to do. Now,
23:37when it comes to making a decision,
23:39there are eight
23:41the eight most important decisions you
23:43will ever make. And I want you to list
23:46this. The eight most important decisions
23:50you will ever have to make. Number one,
23:52the decision of who you're going to
23:54serve.
23:57You're either going to serve mammon or
23:59God, but you can serve both. Who are you
24:03going to serve? Number two, the decision
24:05of how you will live. How you will live
24:10prayerfully. You're living your life by
24:12the fruit of the spirit.
24:15You're living morally. You're living
24:17ethically.
24:19You're doing the right thing.
24:21Even if it costs loss on the front end,
24:24it will cause gain on the back end.
24:27You're living ethically. You're living
24:29authentically. You're living credibly.
24:32You're true to your word. Your yay is
24:34yay. Your nay is nay. Number three,
24:40the next decision you have to make is
24:42where you're going to go in life. Where
24:44am I going? Where am I going to end up
24:47uh at the end of the year? what I'm
24:49where I'm going to end up the next year.
24:51Where am I going? The next decision you
24:54you have to make is what you're going to
24:56focus on. You cannot focus on
24:58everything.
25:01You can't be distracted by everything.
25:05This is a season of productivity.
25:08That means your season of playing is
25:10over.
25:14This is your season of working
25:17of working on your dreams, your goal,
25:19your vision, your business, your
25:21education.
25:24Your focus is important. You got to make
25:26a decision of YOUR LIFE STRATEGIES.
25:28YOU'RE EITHER GOING TO continue with
25:30your survival skills or you're going to
25:32have life skills. You can't keep
25:35surviving. You've got to garner life
25:37skills. You got to make decisions about
25:39your relationships.
25:42What type of relationships do you need?
25:45What kind of networks do you need? How
25:47do you need to beworked? And you've got
25:49to make decisions on those
25:51relationships. You've got business
25:53relationships, friendship, intimate
25:55relationships, mentorship, coaching.
25:58You've got TO YOU'VE GOT TO DETERMINE
26:00THOSE UH PROFESSIONAL RELATIONSHIPS,
26:02THOSE personal relationships. Who's in
26:05your inner circle? Who's in your next
26:08circle? Who's in your circle of trust?
26:11There should be a handful of people that
26:12you trust with your life. YOU CAN'T
26:15TRUST EVERYBODY WITH EVERYTHING.
26:18SO, YOUR CIRCLE OF TRUST ARE PEOPLE THAT
26:20YOU CAN RELY ON that will hold you
26:22accountable for realizing your dreams.
26:26But people can take you where they've
26:28never been. And you've got some people
26:30in your IMMEDIATE CIRCLE OF TRUST
26:32SHARING YOUR DREAMS, and they can't even
26:34get their dreams to pass. How are they
26:36going to help you? They have never gone
26:38to the next level in their life, in
26:40their worship, in their giving, in their
26:42professional life. They've never gone to
26:44the NEXT LEVEL. HOW ARE THEY GOING TO
26:46HELP YOU UP TO YOUR next level?
26:49Who's going to push you to the next
26:51level? Who's going to speak to what
26:52you're carrying?
26:54Who's going to pray for you? WHO'S GOING
26:56TO GIVE YOU THE WORD of the Lord? Who's
26:59who who can touch HEAVEN ON YOUR BEHALF?
27:02YOU'VE GOT TO MAKE DECISIONS about your
27:04relationship. NUMBER SEVEN, YOU GOT TO
27:05MAKE DECISIONS about your core values.
27:08These are your non-negotiables.
27:10Let me ask you a question. HOW MANY OF
27:12YOU believe believe that it's not right
27:15to lie?
27:17How many of you have ever lied? Yeah.
27:20So, so, so that means that what you say
27:24is your core value is not your core
27:26value.
27:27SO, YOU'VE GOT TO GO BACK IN AND YOU'VE
27:29GOT TO SAY, "What are my
27:31non-negotiables?" these. Look, they
27:33could put a gun to my head and I will
27:35never do this.
27:38I don't care how much money they give.
27:39Let me tell you something. My integrity
27:42is not for sale.
27:45This is a non-negotiable.
27:49It's not FOR SALE. THERE'S NO AMOUNT OF
27:52money that you can give me that will
27:54make me compromise my Christian values.
27:57No amount of money, NO AMOUNT OF
27:59OPPORTUNITY, no amount of skill, none.
28:02What are your non-negotiables?
28:04And these are tied to your Christian
28:06values. Even as single women,
28:11what what what are you going to do when
28:12when you're lonely?
28:15Are are are you going to uh UH UH GIVE
28:18UP YOUR INTEGRITY AS A CHRISTIAN WOMAN?
28:21What are your non-negotiables?
28:24You got to choose. Let's go back to your
28:27focus. What holds your attention?
28:31Who holds your attention? That's your
28:33focus. What holds your attention? There
28:37are so many people I see wasting their
28:39lives on other people's timeline.
28:43They could tell you everything that's
28:44going on. who's wearing what, who did
28:46what, who had a birthday party, who They
28:49could tell you everything, but they
28:51cannot TELL YOU ANYTHING ABOUT their own
28:54vision, their own goals, their own
28:56dreams. THEY SPENT ALL THEIR LIVES
28:59WATCHING other people driving the car.
29:02That's my dream car. That's my dream
29:05house. But they're doing nothing about
29:07it.
29:09You What holds your attention?
29:13What holds your attention? who gets your
29:16attention and who is holding your
29:18attention
29:21and are they worthy of it?
29:27You got to make a decision on what you
29:29feed on.
29:33What do you feed on intellectually? What
29:35do you feed on spiritually? What do you
29:38feed on nutritionally?
29:40These are decisions you've got to make.
29:44Do you have a healthy mindset? How many
29:46books do you read? What books are you
29:49reading? What's on your phone? How many
29:51books are on your phone beside Candy
29:54Crusher and what other game Angry Birds?
29:58Whatever whatever they're playing now,
30:00Minecraft.
30:02Whatever they're playing,
30:04what what what what do you feed on? Do
30:06you feed on gossip?
30:09Who has your ear? I don't care what you
30:11think about me. I care about what I
30:12think about me. You got to be careful of
30:16the frenemies that bring you information
30:20on what people are saying about you
30:23negatively.
30:25Firstly, I don't care what people say
30:27about me. I care that they say it to
30:29you. How did that get your ear anyway?
30:35Are you hearing me?
30:39What are YOU FEEDING ON?
30:42WHAT you you you here here's a decision
30:45what you do with your time. You got to
30:49decide what are you going to do with
30:50your time. What are you going to do with
30:52your life experiences? And we've all had
30:55life experiences. Here's another thing.
30:57What are you going to do with the
30:58negative energy
31:00that you carry
31:03when people make you mad?
31:05Do you self-destruct? Do you sabotage
31:08yourself? Or do you use that energy for
31:10productivity?
31:12When you're frustrated,
31:15if I'm ever frustrated, oh, I I can do
31:17some work. I say, I'm frustrated. And I
31:20channel that frustration into
31:23productivity. I don't care where you get
31:25the energy from.
31:28Energy is energy, but it's how you use
31:30it. what you've got to make decisions
31:33with what you do with negative energy,
31:36negative um emotions.
31:39And we are going to have negative
31:40emotions. We're going to have
31:42disappointment. We're going to have
31:43hurt. We're going to have pain. We're
31:46going to have frustration.
31:48You got to make a decision on how you're
31:51going to harness that for your good. You
31:54got to make a decision on what you do
31:55with your resources, what you do with
31:58your life, what you do with your gifts,
32:01what you do with your potential.
32:04You got the potential, but is it just
32:06going to stay there? What you do with
32:09opportunities
32:11and then what you do with setbacks?
32:16Got to make a decision.
32:20And then finally, there are 10 kinds of
32:23destinies.
32:25So we know we're talking about destiny.
32:28Number one, you've got your spiritual
32:30destiny. Scripture said, "Choose you
32:33this day whom you will serve. Choose
32:35life, not death. Choose blessing, not
32:37cursing.
32:39Number two, you've got your personal
32:41destiny." Psalm 40:7 to8 says, "Lo, I
32:46come in the volume of the book. It is
32:48written of me. I delight to do your
32:50will, oh God. Yay, the law is within my
32:53heart. So, you've got to decide your
32:56personal brand, your vision, your
32:57legacy.
32:59Number three, your financial destiny.
33:03How do you want to live? Where do you
33:05want to live? What inheritance do you
33:08want to leave? How do you want to
33:10retire? How much do you need to retire
33:13with?
33:15Number four, you're nutritional.
33:18Don't dig your grave with your fork.
33:23Got to think about health. Every day I
33:26think about my health. I take vitamins,
33:28supplements, herbs. I wake up, I take my
33:31first set of herbs. Then at breakfast
33:34time, I take my next set of herbs and
33:36and vitamins. And then during lunchtime,
33:39I take my next. And then before I go to
33:41bed, I take my next. And I do it every
33:43single day of my life.
33:47You got to think about your nutrition.
33:51Um Genesis 1:29:31
33:54the Bible said, "Behold, I've given you
33:55every herbbearing seed which is upon the
33:57face of the earth, and every tree in
33:59which is the fruit of the tree yielding
34:01seed. It shall be meat for you." You
34:04should make your diet at least 50% raw.
34:10You know, all this processed food is
34:12killing us. It's convenient, but it's
34:15killing us.
34:16So, you've got to be able to think about
34:19uh what you're going to eat, how you're
34:20going to eat. You've got to eat raw. You
34:22got to eat live food. I take a lot of
34:25supplements, but if I eat all dead food,
34:28cookies, hamburgers, things that are
34:30fried, uh uh vegetables that are cooked,
34:34it's dead. They're dead. So, if I take a
34:37supplement, guess what I'm
34:39supplementing? I'm supplementing what?
34:41Death.
34:43So, in order for you to have life,
34:44you've got to supplement life so that
34:47your fruits, your vegetables, eat 50%
34:51raw, get up in the morning, have your
34:53banana, have your orange before you have
34:56bacon and eggs and grits. All of that is
34:58dead. And then you say, "I take my
35:00vitamin EVERY DAY." BUT A VITAMIN IS A
35:03SUPPLEMENT. IT'S NOT A SUBSTITUTE.
35:06And God said, "I've given you the fruit.
35:08I've given you vegetable. This is going
35:09to be meat for you. This is going to
35:12sustain you.
35:14Then you've got to think about your
35:16social destiny. Your life will resemble
35:19those with whom you assemble. 1
35:22Corinthians 15:33 says, "Be not
35:24deceived. Evil communication corrupts
35:27good manners.
35:29Your life is going to resemble those
35:31with whom you assemble." Birds of a
35:32feather flocks together. If you run with
35:35the wolves, you're going to learn how to
35:37howl.
35:39But if you run with eagles, you learn
35:40how to fly.
35:43Then you got to deal WITH YOUR
35:45PROFESSIONAL, YOUR CAREER, your career
35:47path. What is WHAT IS YOUR DREAM JOB?
35:51WHAT do you need to do to qualify? It's
35:54not just about money. It's about finding
35:56an expression for your passion.
36:00And then you've got your relational.
36:04Everything in your life will rise and
36:06fall based on the nature of the quality
36:07of your relationship. Particularly the
36:10relationship, listen to this, that you
36:12have with yourself and the relationship
36:15that you have with money. The
36:17relationship you have with God. It's not
36:21just relationship with people, but how
36:23do you relate to yourself? How do you
36:25talk TO YOURSELF? WHAT IS YOUR INTERNAL
36:27DIALOGUE LIKE?
36:29And then there's your intellectual
36:31destiny. Daniel 1:1 17-20 it says as for
36:36these four children God gave them
36:39knowledge and skill in all learning and
36:40wisdom and Daniel had understanding and
36:43all vision and dreams now at the end of
36:46the days that that the king had said he
36:48should bring them in. Then the prince of
36:50the unch brought them in before
36:52Nebuchadnezzar and the king communed
36:55with them and amongst them all was found
36:57none like Daniel, Hananiah, Mishall,
37:00Azariah. therefore stood before the king
37:05and in all manners, watch this, of
37:07wisdom and understanding that the king
37:10inquired of them. He found them 10 times
37:13better than all the magicians and the
37:15astrologers that were in his realm.
37:18Daniel was an immigrant and he was uh he
37:23ended up in Babylon um as a part of uh
37:28slave trade or uh human trafficking.
37:31Let's put it that way. But he was so
37:34smart they gave him a scholarship to the
37:37University of Babylon.
37:39And intellectually
37:41he was superior. 10 times superior.
37:46What have you thought about when it
37:50comes to your intellectual your
37:53intellectual destiny? I thought a lot
37:56about this. I have degrees up to the
37:57yin-yang. Not that I need another
37:59degree, but I thought, look, the degree
38:02that I had is now obsolete.
38:05How am I growing intellectually? How am
38:08I going to keep sharp? How am I going to
38:12uh be 10 times smarter than my
38:14contemporaries?
38:15So I had to make a decision for my
38:18intellectual for my intellectual
38:20destiny. So I applied to Oxford. I
38:23applied to Harvard. I got accepted in
38:25both Oxford and Harvard. So I went to
38:27Oxford last year. I'm going to Harvard
38:29this year.
38:32It it it was a decision that I made.
38:36It's not about skill but about will. And
38:39I wrote it down as a part of my vision.
38:42I didn't say how am I going to go to
38:44Harvard? How I've been out of university
38:46for so long. I didn't go there. I didn't
38:50think about that. I said I am going to
38:54Oxford. Full stop. AND HEAVEN CONSPIRED
38:58WITH EARTH. God can drop in anybody's
39:01spirit. Pick pick this applicant. and
39:05they might not EVEN KNOW WHY THEY'RE
39:06DOING IT, but heaven is going to
39:10conspire with earth. When it comes to
39:12that, you've got to be able to build
39:14capacity through reading. Ask God for
39:17supernatural wisdom. Ask the Holy Spirit
39:20to give you supernatural insight when
39:23you pray. Then number 10, you've got to
39:26have cultural. You got to deal with your
39:29cultural destiny. Will you embrace the
39:32status quo or will you overthrow it? Are
39:35you happy to live amongst the clutter of
39:37the common or are you going to lead?
39:40Are you going to be a follower or
39:42leader? Then you have to deal with your
39:45national destiny. And I'll GIVE YOU AN
39:48EXAMPLE OF PEOPLE THAT DEALT with their
39:50national destiny. You have Moses,
39:53Joshua, Esther, Deborah, David,
39:56modernday Gandhi, Mandela, Martin Luther
39:59King, Winston Churchill. There's so many
40:01others who dealt with their decision
40:05about their destiny.
40:08One of the things that Winston Churchill
40:09said, "History shall be kind to me
40:11because I intend to write it." I just
40:13rephrased it. History shall be kind to
40:15me because God has already written it.
40:18And I'm able to say I come into the I
40:21come in the volume of the book. It is
40:23written of me. In conclusion,
40:26destiny is about intentionality.
40:30I call it
40:34it.
40:37You know, when you have it, if you don't
40:40have it, you got to get it. And when you
40:43get it, you got to work it.
40:46You've got to be able to live
40:49intentionally.
40:51And when you find out that your thought
40:54plus intention plus action equals
40:58manifestation,
41:00you will discover
41:02where your tomorrow come from. And every
41:06day you're able to wake up. You're able
41:09to say hello tomorrow.
41:13Today I've challenged you.
41:17It was the parable that Jesus spoke of.
41:20The prodical son
41:23ended up giving his personal power away.
41:26But he had to take personal
41:27responsibility for the decisions that he
41:30made that led him to the pig pan. And he
41:34had a defining moment. Hold on one
41:36minute.
41:38My destiny is not determined by others
41:41but it's determined by my decisions. And
41:44he said, I will arise, go to my father's
41:46house. And he arose. In other words, his
41:50thoughts affected his intention, his
41:53tension, his action. And his action
41:57changed the manifestation of the
41:59realities in his future. As long as he
42:03was not conscious of the effects of his
42:06decision, he ended up in a peak pan
42:09living beneath him,
42:12living beneath the standard that God had
42:14for him.
42:16But when he came to himself,
42:19one day you're going to come to
42:20yourself. You're going to be able to
42:22say, "I can live better. I deserve
42:25better. And I'm going to live better
42:29because I deserve it." Each one of you
42:32are going to have destiny moments every
42:34single day. Moments within crises,
42:38moments within problems, moments when
42:40you're frustrated, angry, moments when
42:43people disappoint you. But you should
42:46never self-sabotage yourself by shifting
42:49your life into gear and playing the
42:52victim. You got to arise. You got to
42:55think at a higher level. The level that
42:58you were intended to think of as
43:00heaven's representative.
43:03Here's to a great life. Here's to a
43:05great year. Your best days lie ahead of
43:08you because you made a decision and
43:11you've chose life and you've chose
43:13blessing in Jesus name. Amen. God bless
