1. 0:00So, it was December 31st and I look back
2. 0:02at my year and I realized I [music]
3. 0:04wasted it. I was busy hustling, checking
4. 0:06boxes, and at the end of the year, I
5. 0:08couldn't tell you what actually [music]
6. 0:11mattered, what made me truly happy. What
7. 0:13were my accomplishments? [music] Another
8. 0:15year old, same old problems, same
9. 0:18patterns. And I thought, why does this
10. 0:20keep happening? Then I learned a
11. 0:22framework from an incredible
12. 0:23entrepreneur I met in Chicago. His name
13. 0:25is John [music] Butcher. He and his wife
14. 0:27Missy had built the most extraordinary
15. 0:30life I've witnessed of any [music]
16. 0:31person in the world. And it hit me. I'd
17. 0:34been optimizing the wrong things.
18. 0:36[music] So I started following John and
19. 0:38Missy's methodology. And look, this
20. 0:40methodology seemed insane. Their first
21. 0:43piece of advice is this. Don't focus on
22. 0:44one thing. Focus on 12 different areas
23. 0:47of your life and go deep. Focus on many
24. 0:50things in many different [music] areas.
25. 0:52They call this procedure life book. And
26. 0:55it involved 12 categories of life in
27. 0:57four major questions you ask yourself
28. 1:00and [music] an 18-hour process where you
29. 1:02go really deep. But the crazy thing is
30. 1:06it freaking worked. 2010 when I took
31. 1:10Lifebook was the year where I had the
32. 1:12most insane amount of change in my life.

34. 1:16I brought Lifebook to Mine Valley and
35. 1:18just recently I invested in Lifebook and
36. 1:20became a co-founder of the company
37. 1:23because I love this process so much.

42. 1:34billion in annual revenue. They were
43. 1:36able to go into their 60s, 30 years of

45. 1:43each other. five grandkids, they are in
46. 1:46peak physical shape. You do not meet
47. 1:48grandparents that look this good and
48. 1:51they're able to do it while also doing
49. 1:54their passions, which part of that is
50. 1:56also teaching and inspiring people
51. 1:58around the world. It's a truly unique
52. 2:01process that I think everyone should
