The Only Trading Strategy You Need (Fibonacci) — Transcript

- 0:00You don't need a different strategy for
- 0:02every timeframe. This is one model on
- 0:05the 4-hour and on the 15-minute. Same
- 0:07rules, same direction, same target.
- 0:10Price just tagged the 71 on the 4-hour
- 0:13chart.
- 0:14That's our 4-hour entry, and in our
- 0:16model, it's also the trigger to look
- 0:17closer because this one 4-hour candle
- 0:20holds 16 15-minute candles. And down
- 0:23there, the same model can form again and
- 0:25give us a second entry with a much
- 0:27tighter stop.
- 0:30Down here, price can do one of two
- 0:32things. It can react to our level, or it
- 0:34can slice straight through it. On the
- 0:364-hour, both start the same way with a
- 0:39candle touching the level. On the
- 0:4015-minute, they look completely
- 0:42different.
- 0:44The 4-hour tells us where. The 15-minute
- 0:47tells us when.
- 0:48>> [music]
- 0:49>> In this video, I'll show you how we find
- 0:51the trigger on the 4-hour, why we scale
- 0:53down, and exactly what the 15-minute has
- 0:55to show before we take that second
- 0:57entry. Then, we'll follow one real trade
- 1:00where both entries hit the same 4-hour
- 1:02target.
- 1:04Every trading session in our model
- 1:06starts on the 4-hour chart. Before we
- 1:08think about entries, we need context.
- 1:11First, the trend. Higher highs and
- 1:13higher lows mean bullish. Lower highs
- 1:16and lower lows mean bearish. We only
- 1:19trade in the direction of the active
- 1:214-hour trend. The one exception is a
- 1:23range break, and that's a separate
- 1:25model. On this pound-dollar chart, price
- 1:27sweeps the last low. Then, it breaks the
- 1:30external high with a body close. That
- 1:33break turns the 4-hour bullish, and the
- 1:35low made by the sweep becomes the
- 1:37protected low.
- 1:39So, second, we mark the structure. The
- 1:41last high that price broke and the
- 1:43protected low behind it. Third, we pull
- 1:46the Fibonacci from the protected low up
- 1:48to the high.
- 1:50That range shows us where we're trading,
- 1:52where liquidity is likely resting, and
- 1:54where a reaction is most likely. And
- 1:57fourth, we focus on one level, the 71.
- 2:01It's a deep pullback into the range
- 2:03where price often slows down and reacts.
- 2:06At this stage, we place our 4-hour entry
- 2:08at the 71. The stop goes under the
- 2:11protected low, and the target is the
- 2:13high.
- 2:15We also set an alert on the same level,
- 2:17and we wait for price to come to us. So,
- 2:20what is the trade trigger? It's price
- 2:22reaching that 71. Our 4-hour entry
- 2:25fills, and the alert goes off.
- 2:28And that alert is our signal to scale
- 2:30down to the 15-minute.
- 2:33Our 4-hour trade is running now. So, why
- 2:35look at the 15-minute at all? Here's
- 2:38why. The 4-hour tells us that price
- 2:40arrived at our level. It doesn't tell us
- 2:43how price is behaving there.
- 2:45One 4-hour candle takes 4 hours to
- 2:47close. Inside it, 16 15-minute candles
- 2:51show what actually happened.
- 2:54Down there, we can see if price is
- 2:56really reacting to the zone or simply
- 2:58passing through it.
- 2:59If price slices through the level and
- 3:01keeps making lower lows, there is no
- 3:03confirmation. So, there is no 15-minute
- 3:06entry.
- 3:07If price sweeps liquidity, turns
- 3:09aggressively, and shifts structure, the
- 3:11zone is doing its job.
- 3:14And when it does react, the 15-minute
- 3:16gives us a second entry with a much
- 3:18tighter stop and the same 4-hour target.
- 3:21And notice what doesn't change. The
- 3:23direction still comes from the 4-hour.
- 3:26When the 4-hour is bullish, we only look
- 3:28for buys on the 15-minute. We only
- 3:31change the zoom. One strategy, one
- 3:33direction, two time frames.
- 3:37So, what exactly do we need to see on
- 3:39the 15-minute? Our confirmation model
- 3:42has five [music] steps, and they come in
- 3:44this order. Here's an example. The
- 3:464-hour 71 sits at the bottom of the
- 3:49chart, and price has just reached it.
- 3:52Step one is the liquidity sweep.
- 3:54>> [music]
- 3:54>> Price takes out a recent low. The stop
- 3:57losses under it get triggered and that
- 3:59liquidity gets collected. It can be an
- 4:01internal low or an external one. What
- 4:04matters is that liquidity was taken.
- 4:07Step two is the aggressive reaction.
- 4:09After the sweep, price moves away from
- 4:12the level with strong displacement. We
- 4:14want to see clear intent, not a weak
- 4:16bounce. If that push leaves a volume gap
- 4:18behind, keep an eye on it. We'll need it
- 4:21in step [music] five.
- 4:22Step three is the market structure
- 4:24shift. Find the last high that created
- 4:27the last low. When a candle closes above
- 4:30it, short-term structure has shifted.
- 4:32That's the confirmation that control has
- 4:34changed hands. Without this break, there
- 4:37is no confirmation, no matter how good
- 4:39the sweep looked.
- 4:41Step four is the Fibonacci. When the
- 4:44impulse after the structure shift starts
- 4:46to pull back, we pull the Fibonacci on
- 4:48that move. The one goes on the low made
- 4:50by the sweep. The zero goes on the top
- 4:53of the impulse.
- 4:55And step five is confluence at the
- 4:5715-minute 71. The 71 has to line up with
- 5:01three things. A valid order block. In
- 5:03our model, that's the last candle before
- 5:05the push that created the volume. A
- 5:07volume gap left behind by that push. And
- 5:10the original 4-hour direction. A bullish
- 5:134-hour means we only take bullish
- 5:15confirmations. When all three line up,
- 5:18that 71 becomes our entry.
- 5:21Now the execution. We enter at the
- 5:2315-minute 71 and the stop goes below the
- 5:26low at the one. The first target is the
- 5:29minus 27 level of the same Fibonacci.
- 5:32That's where we take partial profits.
- 5:34And the final target comes from the
- 5:354-hour chart.
- 5:37Risk stays between half a percent and 1
- 5:40and 1/2% per trade. A 15-minute stop
- 5:43with a 4-hour target. That's the power
- 5:45of trading two time frames with one
- 5:47strategy.
- 5:49And if any step is missing, we don't
- 5:51take the 15-minute trade. No sweep, no
- 5:53entry. No structure shift, no
- 5:56confirmation. No confluence, no risk.
- 6:00And if price moves away from the zone
- 6:02without a confirmation, we don't chase
- 6:04it. We can apply the same rules again as
- 6:06the 4-hour move develops. That's our
- 6:09continuation model and a topic for
- 6:11another video.
- 6:14If the 15-minute part just clicked for
- 6:16you, hit like and subscribe so you don't
- 6:18miss the next breakdown. And tell me in
- 6:20the comments, which part of going from
- 6:22the 4-hour to the 15-minute used to
- 6:24confuse you the most?
- 6:27Now, let's follow it on a real chart.
- 6:30This is the same pound dollar 4-hour
- 6:32chart. The trend is bullish and the
- 6:34Fibonacci runs from the protected low up
- 6:36to the high. Price pulls back and this
- 6:38candle tags the 71. Our 4-hour entry is
- 6:42filled and the alert goes off. That's
- 6:44our trigger.
- 6:45So, we scale down.
- 6:48On the 15-minute, price taps the 4-hour
- 6:5071 almost exactly and bounces. But, a
- 6:54bounce on its own is not a confirmation,
- 6:56so we keep waiting. Price builds a few
- 6:59lows just above the level. Then, it
- 7:01drops under them and that liquidity gets
- 7:03taken. Step one, the sweep.
- 7:06Price turns back up and the push leaves
- 7:08a volume gap behind. Step two, the
- 7:11aggressive reaction.
- 7:13Next comes the structure shift. This is
- 7:15the last high that created the last low.
- 7:18Price works its way up and this candle
- 7:20closes above it. Step three, structure
- 7:23has shifted.
- 7:25For step four, as price starts to pull
- 7:27back, we pull the Fibonacci from the
- 7:29sweep low up to the top of the impulse.
- 7:32And step five, the 71 lands right at the
- 7:36top of the volume gap with the order
- 7:38block that started the push just below
- 7:40it. And the 4-hour bias is bullish, so
- 7:43all three line up. That's our
- 7:45confluence.
- 7:47Price pulls back into the 71 and the
- 7:49second entry gets filled. The stop sits
- 7:51under the 15-minute low.
- 7:54The 4-hour trade risks the whole range
- 7:56down to the protected low. The 15-minute
- 7:59trade risks about a third of that for
- 8:00the same target. From the trigger to the
- 8:03entry, that took more than a day on the
- 8:0515-minute. Patience is part of the
- 8:07model. Now we zoom back out to the
- 8:104-hour.
- 8:12Price never comes back to either stop.
- 8:15It runs through the minus 27 where we
- 8:17take partials on the 15-minute trade.
- 8:20And then it goes all the way into the
- 8:214-hour high. Both trades hit their
- 8:24target.
- 8:28So, let's put the whole process
- 8:29together. On the 4-hour, we read the
- 8:32trend, mark the structure, pull the
- 8:34Fibonacci, and put our entry and an
- 8:36alert at the 71. When price reaches it,
- 8:40the 4-hour entry fills and that's the
- 8:42trigger. We scale down.
- 8:44On the 15-minute, we wait for the sweep,
- 8:47the aggressive reaction, and the
- 8:48structure shift. Then we pull the
- 8:50Fibonacci and look for confluence at the
- 8:5271.
- 8:54That's how our model answers the four
- 8:56questions every trader has to solve.
- 8:58Where does price matter? At the 4-hour
- 9:0171.
- 9:02When do we engage? At the 4-hour 71 and
- 9:05again after the 15-minute confirmation.
- 9:08Where are we wrong? Below the low made
- 9:11by the sweep. And where do we get paid?
- 9:13At the minus 27 and at the 4-hour
- 9:16target.
- 9:18No 4-hour context, no trade. No sweep,
- 9:21no entry. No structure shift, no
- 9:24confirmation. No confluence, no risk.
- 9:28The 4-hour tells us where. The 15-minute
- 9:32tells us when.
