The Only 4 Minutes You Need To Control Reality — Transcript

- 0:00There's a missing piece in personal
- 0:01growth, and I believe it explains why
- 0:03you can spend years working on yourself,
- 0:05understand exactly what's holding you
- 0:06back, even have a breakthrough that
- 0:08changes your life, and still find
- 0:10yourself falling into the same old
- 0:11patterns. The strange thing is, this
- 0:13missing piece is right in front of us.
- 0:15And once you see it, it becomes so
- 0:17obvious. But for decades, we've been
- 0:19reading the books, going to the
- 0:20seminars, learning from teachers, and
- 0:21leaving something critical up to chance.
- 0:24You know your thoughts influence how you
- 0:26feel. You know your beliefs influence
- 0:28your decisions. You understand that
- 0:30creating a different life requires
- 0:31something to change within you. And
- 0:33you've probably experienced that change,
- 0:35a new understanding, a different
- 0:36perspective, a moment where something
- 0:38that had bothered you for years suddenly
- 0:39doesn't have the same power. But the
- 0:41question is, why doesn't that stick? Why
- 0:44can you change a belief, and then the
- 0:45next time life shows up in the old way,
- 0:47you find yourself believing the limiting
- 0:49belief again? Why does it seem so hard
- 0:51to reprogram the subconscious mind? This
- 0:53led me to the topic of integration. How
- 0:55do you take something you understand and
- 0:57actually integrate it into your being to
- 0:59change the way you think, change the way
- 1:01you feel, and change the way that you
- 1:02respond without daily effort? How do you
- 1:05practice a new way of being consistently
- 1:07enough that it becomes who you are, a
- 1:09natural part of your new identity? And
- 1:11I've been in the lab working on the most
- 1:13important project of my life for the
- 1:14last 18 months, and I believe I finally
- 1:17found the answer to this question, and
- 1:19I'm convinced it's going to change the
- 1:21way you and I do personal growth
- 1:23forever. See, human beings have an
- 1:24extraordinary capacity for change. It's
- 1:26called neuroplasticity. We can literally
- 1:28rewire our brains and reprogram our
- 1:30nervous system with our own thoughts.
- 1:32And this is a very powerful idea. But
- 1:34knowing that you can change and changing
- 1:37are two different things. Knowing you
- 1:38can change doesn't tell you what you
- 1:40need to practice, what you need to
- 1:41clear, what you need to focus on when
- 1:43you wake up tomorrow morning being
- 1:44overwhelmed. [music] And that's where so
- 1:46many of us are left on our own, without
- 1:48a map, without a plan. But look at a
- 1:50world-class athlete. They have a coach,
- 1:52they have a plan, they have people
- 1:54paying attention to their development.
- 1:55What they practice each day is connected
- 1:57to where they are and what will help
- 1:59them advance so that they can become
- 2:01better athletes and ultimately so that
- 2:03they can win a championship. But in
- 2:04personal growth, there's no plan.
- 2:07There's no team. You can have an entire
- 2:08library of books or courses, but still
- 2:10wake up wondering, what do I actually
- 2:12need to work on today? Is it a limiting
- 2:14belief? Some resistance that I haven't
- 2:15recognized? Do I need to expand my
- 2:17vision? Should I do meditation or breath
- 2:19work or a visualization exercise? That
- 2:22in and of itself can start to feel
- 2:23overwhelming. And when we struggle to
- 2:26make the changes stick, we assume
- 2:27there's something wrong with us. We end
- 2:29up throwing personal development
- 2:30spaghetti at the wall and not before
- 2:32long personal development starts to feel
- 2:34like a full-time job. But the point of
- 2:35personal growth is not to do personal
- 2:38growth all day long just to maintain a
- 2:40nervous system baseline. The point of
- 2:43personal growth is to allow us to freely
- 2:45live our lives. After more than a decade
- 2:47of doing this work and over 10,000
- 2:48coaching conversations, I believe we
- 2:50need a more complete system for turning
- 2:52what we learn into how we live. And so
- 2:54for the last 18 months, that's what I've
- 2:56been building. And on the December 4th
- 2:58and 5th at the Change Mind Masterclass,
- 3:00I'm finally going to reveal it. It's
- 3:01called Whole Human, and I believe it's
- 3:04the most important thing that I've ever
- 3:05created. But between now and then, I
- 3:07want to get you into a focused daily
- 3:09practice with me. [music] Imagine you
- 3:11and I sat down for coffee every morning
- 3:13for the next 30 days, and I said, "Okay,
- 3:15how are you feeling? What are you
- 3:16working on?" And you told me, and I
- 3:18said, "Great. Then here's what we're
- 3:20going to do." It might be something to
- 3:21help you uncover resistance, question a
- 3:23belief, expand your vision, make a new
- 3:25decision. You don't have to figure it
- 3:26out which podcast to listen to or which
- 3:29technique to try. [music]
- 3:31I will give you the practice. You put in
- 3:33the rep, and you start applying this to
- 3:35your life. That's what I'm inviting you
- 3:36into with Mindset Month. [music] The
- 3:38link is in the description of this
- 3:39episode. It is absolutely free.
- 3:42Every day I'm going to send you a tool,
- 3:43a teaching, an exercise, a practice.
- 3:46Most days it'll only take you about 5
- 3:47minutes. I'm opening up some of my
- 3:49personal tools, creating new content,
- 3:52and sharing new AI-powered experiences
- 3:54to help you work through limiting
- 3:55beliefs and hidden resistance in real
- 3:57time. And it's all completely free. And
- 3:59then on December 4th and 5th, we come
- 4:01together for the two-day Change Mind
- 4:03Masterclass and I show you how all this
- 4:05fits together. The missing [music]
- 4:07piece, the system that we've built
- 4:09around it, and where we're taking
- 4:11personal growth [music] next. So, my
- 4:13invitation to you, click the link in the
- 4:15description of this episode, register
- 4:17for mindset month, get immediate access
- 4:19to the live Masterclass on December 4th
- 4:21and 5th. Like I said, all of this is
- 4:23free. You've spent years learning what's
- 4:25possible, let's start practicing it
- 4:28together.
