- 0:00The National Football League, also known
- 0:02as the NFL, consists of 32 teams divided
- 0:06equally among two conferences, the AFC
- 0:09and NFC. This is what makes the toughest
- 0:12league in the world so special. Each
- 0:16conference is further divided into four
- 0:18divisions, the AFC and NFC North, South,
- 0:22East, and West. Each division has four
- 0:25teams, and they play 17 regular season
- 0:27games. Teams will play half their games
- 0:30at home and half as the visiting team.
- 0:33At the end of the regular season, 14
- 0:36teams qualify for the playoffs. Seven
- 0:38from the AFC and seven from the NFC.
- 0:41This includes four division winners and
- 0:44three wildcard teams. Wildcard teams are
- 0:48non-division winners with the best
- 0:50record in the conference. The playoffs
- 0:53follow a single elimination format. The
- 0:55number one seed in each conference gets
- 0:57a first round buy, meaning they skip the
- 1:00first round. The remaining six teams in
- 1:02each conference play in the wildcard
- 1:04round. Winners advance to the divisional
- 1:06round and then to the conference
- 1:08championship, the AFC and NFC champions
- 1:12face off in the Super Bowl, the biggest
- 1:14game of the year.

- 1:19the champion and wins the Vince Lombardi
- 1:21Trophy.
