The new way of becoming a 10k/mo copywriter in the age of AI — Transcript
Full transcript
- 0:00So, I myself hit 10K per month with
- 0:02copywriting all the way back in 2023.
- 0:04And now, in 2026, I've helped a ton of
- 0:06other people do the exact same thing,
- 0:07hit 10K per month, and even a handful
- 0:09hit over 20K per month as well. But,
- 0:12this video is about how copywriting in
- 0:142023 is absolutely nothing like
- 0:17copywriting in 2026. It is completely
- 0:20different. And this video is about that
- 0:22actual opportunity on why it's
- 0:24different, how you can get started, and
- 0:25how you can scale your income if you are
- 0:27currently a copywriter with clients, or
- 0:29you're somebody who wants to become a
- 0:30copywriter in the near future. Just like
- 0:32any way to make money online, it is not
- 0:34instant, it is not painless, but I'm
- 0:36telling you it is extremely worth it.
- 0:38And this opportunity is also just not
- 0:39going to last forever. And what exactly
- 0:42I am talking about? Two words, creative
- 0:44strategy. Now, before you think, "Oh,
- 0:46well, I've heard of this already
- 0:48before," or I have no idea what that is,
- 0:51in short, in this video, we're going to
- 0:52take it from a different angle. I'm
- 0:53going to tell you all the things that
- 0:55you need to know that most people
- 0:56overlook, most beginners overlook as a
- 0:58copywriter and creative strategist.
- 1:01Because creative strategy is the hottest
- 1:02copywriting skill of 2026. If you were
- 1:05to say that you were a creative
- 1:06strategist like two or three years ago,
- 1:08nobody would even really know what that
- 1:11is. But now, there are tons of people in
- 1:12the business and e-commerce space who
- 1:14are looking for creative strategists. So
- 1:17much so that you can't go 5 seconds
- 1:19without seeing somebody with an
- 1:20application on something like X or
- 1:22LinkedIn or Upwork. So, I want to give
- 1:24you the real, practical, tactical what
- 1:25to actually do right now in order to
- 1:28increase your income and become a
- 1:29creative strategist if you aren't
- 1:30already, or even if you are a creative
- 1:32strategist, just do a little bit better.
- 1:34But first, I want to go over some main
- 1:35principles and some main points. The
- 1:37first one is that you are not competing
- 1:39against who you think you are. There is
- 1:42so much creative strategy opportunity
- 1:44out there, it is literally
- 1:45mind-boggling. And the difference, the
- 1:48contrast from 2023 is insane, because
- 1:50back in 2023, 2024, it was all DMs, it
- 1:54was all outreach, it was all cold email.
- 1:57And when everybody was else was doing
- 1:58cold email, I decided to do something a
- 2:00little bit different and go the cold
- 2:02Instagram DMs. And this was completely
- 2:05different. I mean, nobody was doing
- 2:06this. Everybody was saying, "Bro,
- 2:07Instagram is for sliding in the in some
- 2:10girls' DMs. Like, it's not for
- 2:11business." But, I decided to use it
- 2:14anyways. I got really, really successful
- 2:16with that. I got super, super good
- 2:18results. It was insane. I was getting on
- 2:20sales calls like every single week. And
- 2:23then, you know, whatever method it is,
- 2:25and I shared, of course, with many
- 2:26people. And then that method becomes the
- 2:28method that everybody knows. The thing
- 2:29with outreach and why it doesn't work as
- 2:31well in 2026 is two main reasons. The
- 2:34first one is that so many people are now
- 2:36outreach aware, right? They're outreach
- 2:38aware. It's like if you went to a car
- 2:41salesman, right? And you tried to sell
- 2:43him a car. He's going to know all of the
- 2:45little tactics and tricks that you're
- 2:47doing. And you're not going to be able
- 2:48to, yeah, I don't know, fool him. I'm
- 2:50not saying that you're going to fool
- 2:51anybody, per se. But, you got what I
- 2:53what I mean. You're not going to be able
- 2:54to use those sales tactics on him
- 2:56effectively because he already knows
- 2:57them and uses them himself. And he's
- 3:00already going to be more stand-offish
- 3:02because, you know, he he knows what the
- 3:04real numbers are and he's not going to
- 3:06let his emotions play a huge role or
- 3:08play a huge part in that. And outreach
- 3:10was the exact same thing. When you were
- 3:12to If you were to message somebody on
- 3:14Instagram, they might have like
- 3:15thousands of followers and a really good
- 3:17business. You could ask them something
- 3:18like, "Hey, man,
- 3:20um
- 3:21I signed up to your email list and I
- 3:22didn't end up getting any emails in my
- 3:24inbox. Do you have anybody doing your
- 3:26emails right now?" They'll say no, and
- 3:27then they'll hire you. It used to
- 3:29literally be that easy. Now, not every
- 3:31single message, but a couple days, uh of
- 3:34actual constant outreach, and you'd be
- 3:35able to get a client that way. Now, it
- 3:37is just completely different. The method
- 3:40to actually get clients now is literally
- 3:41just go to people who are already asking
- 3:44for what you do. Go to people who are
- 3:45already looking for copywriters, content
- 3:48writers, script writers, and creative
- 3:50strategists. And there are so many
- 3:52people who are looking for these things.
- 3:55Now, one thing that I've learned in
- 3:57business and investing, right? If there
- 3:59If there is one thing that I've learned
- 4:01at all, is that when things are feeling
- 4:04like way too good to be true and they
- 4:06are really, really working, that right
- 4:09there is exactly when you know that it's
- 4:12not going to last forever. It just It
- 4:13just will not last forever. Like
- 4:17I wanted to try myself, right? I wanted
- 4:18to see what this creative strategy thing
- 4:21was all about. So, I sent out some
- 4:23applications on my own about 1 hour per
- 4:26day. And in about a month, a month and a
- 4:29half, I got like nearly a dozen
- 4:31interviews and also uh a couple of
- 4:33clients as well. Um even a couple of
- 4:36people who are actually messaging me
- 4:37currently and I'm in talks with some
- 4:40potential clients, too. I actually just
- 4:42got out of an interview like not very
- 4:43long ago at all. But, the point being
- 4:46that it is a literally so much more
- 4:50easy. But, it will not not not be this
- 4:53easy for very long. Eventually, right?
- 4:56The the the masses are going to catch
- 4:58wind. They're going to see all these
- 4:59applications. They're going to say
- 5:01something like, "You know what? Why
- 5:02don't I just get really good at creative
- 5:04strategy and I apply to these and I get
- 5:06hired for these roles." And it's already
- 5:08happening. So, just to let you know,
- 5:10obviously I'm not a complete beginner.
- 5:13I'm somebody with a whole personal
- 5:14brand. I've been doing copywriting for
- 5:15years. Uh but, I haven't done much
- 5:17creative strategy or paid media, right?
- 5:20So, it's not like some somebody with
- 5:22tons and tons of experience, but how are
- 5:24the people with absolutely no experience
- 5:27faring? Well, I have uh some proof here
- 5:29that I wanted to give you and show you
- 5:31as well. So, I've been working with this
- 5:33copywriter named Ricardo.
- 5:35And within the first month of me working
- 5:38with him, he got his first um client as
- 5:41a creative strategist right here on
- 5:42Upwork. And uh the screenshot, I'll just
- 5:44throw it up on screen right here as
- 5:46well. There's not really much to say
- 5:47about it, other than he just got his
- 5:49first client. And then somebody else,
- 5:51right in the 4D Bootcamp community,
- 5:53named Adrian, posted a win. He said, "I
- 5:55swear I'm not making this up. I can't
- 5:56believe this is happening right now.
- 5:58I've been applying to creative strategy
- 5:59roles for the past couple of weeks, and
- 6:01it took some time before I started
- 6:03seeing results. But this week, not two
- 6:05calls scheduled,
- 6:07not three,
- 6:08not four,
- 6:09five interviews, five calls. Honestly,
- 6:12I'm still trying to process it. I'm not
- 6:15sure if this is the reason, but the this
- 6:18started happening shortly after I
- 6:19updated my
- 6:20CV, portfolio, and profile based on what
- 6:24I learned in the Jasper course in the
- 6:25creative strategy launch pad. A reminder
- 6:28to keep improving, keep applying, and
- 6:30trust the process. Keep going, guys."
- 6:31And then he attached some screenshots so
- 6:33that people would believe him
- 6:36as well. And that's the thing when it
- 6:37comes with applications, right? Is that
- 6:39a lot of people I've even gotten some of
- 6:41these comments on my Instagram before.
- 6:42Oh, yeah, Tyson, you know what? I've
- 6:44tried to apply to some of those places,
- 6:45but
- 6:46I just never heard back. It's like,
- 6:48"Dude, you have it so literally so
- 6:50easy." This guy went for a couple of
- 6:52weeks and got a whole handful, like five
- 6:56different calls. And he's not somebody
- 6:59with a ton of experience, right? He
- 7:00didn't say that in his post, but I I
- 7:02know of him. I know I know him a little
- 7:04as well. And he's not somebody who has 2
- 7:06years of creative strategy experience
- 7:08under his belt. He's not much farther
- 7:10ahead than a complete noob, right? I'm
- 7:12not saying that you watching this are
- 7:14all complete noobs, but you get the
- 7:15point. He's not that far ahead of
- 7:18anybody really watching this
- 7:20this video right now.
- 7:21Now,
- 7:23this brings me to my next point, which
- 7:24is that cold outreach is completely
- 7:26optional, right? I'm not going to say
- 7:28something like it doesn't work, but
- 7:29applications are absolutely the new
- 7:31meta. Now, for the first time I've ever
- 7:33seen when it comes to copywriting
- 7:35or just making money online in general,
- 7:37getting clients is not the hard part.
- 7:39Getting clients is just simply not the
- 7:41hard part. It's the easier part. What
- 7:43people really need to know is how to
- 7:45deliver good results for these clients
- 7:47and what are the creative strategy
- 7:49basics. Now, as a side note, I did
- 7:51upload a complete 4-hour copywriting and
- 7:54creative strategy course, actually. It
- 7:57was my last upload before the video
- 7:58you're watching right now. So, you can
- 8:00go watch that if you don't understand
- 8:01the fundamentals and the basics of
- 8:03creative strategy, what it is, and how
- 8:05to actually do it. But, when it comes to
- 8:07applications and getting creative
- 8:08strategy clients, it is literally
- 8:10shooting fish in a barrel. All you have
- 8:13to do is make a profile really quickly.
- 8:15You don't even have to add anything to
- 8:16it. Look up hiring creative strategist,
- 8:18hiring copywriter, hiring content
- 8:20writer, all of these copywriting and
- 8:22copywriting adjacent skills, and you
- 8:24will find the tons and tons of
- 8:25applications to apply to. And I already
- 8:27know somebody's going to be thinking
- 8:28this or saying this underneath this
- 8:30video, but the next point is that
- 8:32experience is not the filter that you
- 8:34think that it is.
- 8:37I was telling you about the free course
- 8:39that I uploaded last week, and I showed
- 8:42a couple clips of some interviews with
- 8:45some uh potential clients, right?
- 8:48And there was this agency who I was on
- 8:51an interview with, and this was a 4K per
- 8:54month position plus incentives. Um I
- 8:57think the incentives was I can't even
- 8:58remember, but it was it was like really
- 9:00good potential as well.
- 9:02So, 4K
- 9:04per month, and
- 9:06he asked me about my experience. And I
- 9:07was honest with him. I'd never worked
- 9:08with a D2C brand or an e-commerce brand
- 9:11at that point, right?
- 9:13I had never worked with one at that
- 9:14point. And he said, "Well," his words
- 9:16verbatim, "Well, you know, we don't
- 9:18really care about experience that much
- 9:19because there are people who say they
- 9:20have all the experience in the world,
- 9:23and they come on and they just end up
- 9:24not really knowing what they're doing.
- 9:26But, I see the test project as the best
- 9:29indicator of experience, and we loved
- 9:31your test project. So, it's not really a
- 9:33big deal. And here's the other part of
- 9:35he said. "We also have tons of course
- 9:37Actually, he said a couple more parts.
- 9:38We also have tons of courses and
- 9:39resources and SOPs that you can just
- 9:41look and we have all the instructions on
- 9:43how to do all the stuff. And I already
- 9:45hired somebody with a very, very similar
- 9:47background to yours. So, she's doing
- 9:50awesome as well. So, I don't see why you
- 9:52wouldn't do awesome, too. Bro was
- 9:53basically just selling himself on the
- 9:56fact that I might not have experience.
- 9:57The other thing about experience that
- 9:59you need to know is that in 2026, bro,
- 10:01we're in the age of AI. Of that it's
- 10:04just unfortunate and it's true. The
- 10:05vast, vast, vast majority of people I'm
- 10:08not even going to say majority, but a
- 10:09lot of people end up just faking their
- 10:11experience. They end up just taking a
- 10:12screenshot of some random Facebook
- 10:15dashboard. They go to chat GPT and say
- 10:18add some zeros, add some commas. And
- 10:20nobody's really any of the wiser. Like
- 10:23nobody really vets super deeply. So, you
- 10:26can just
- 10:27you can just do that. Now, huge warning,
- 10:30please don't do that because you're
- 10:32going to get found out most likely.
- 10:33You're going to get found out. And even
- 10:35if you don't, you are you are the
- 10:37definition of over promising and under
- 10:39delivering. So, don't do that because
- 10:42you'll get hired without experience
- 10:43anyways and all you need is one client,
- 10:46right? Stick with that one client for a
- 10:47couple of months and you're going to
- 10:48have so much experience and you're going
- 10:50to know so, so, so much more.
- 10:53The next point is that AI doesn't
- 10:59threaten to replace you.
- 11:00AI is actually something that you should
- 11:02use and companies actually want you to
- 11:04use. See, when I was just copywriting
- 11:07and just like writing the words was the
- 11:10was the job for me basically.
- 11:12It was crazy to me because many people
- 11:15would say that oh, I don't want I don't
- 11:17want AI stuff. I don't want AI stuff. It
- 11:18cannot sound like AI. It cannot sound
- 11:19like AI. A lot of the top performers in
- 11:22my clients
- 11:24Facebook ads are just straight up like
- 11:27AI UGC. So, it's like an AI creator
- 11:31saying an obviously AI script going to a
- 11:35a website that is clearly made by like
- 11:38vibe coded by Claude or something. Just
- 11:39just completely straight up AI.
- 11:41And they're like super encouraging.
- 11:43Like, yeah, you have to be AI forward.
- 11:45You have to know AI. Like, what kind of
- 11:46AI tools do you use? They want you all
- 11:48up inside of AI. Pause.
- 11:51They really want you to to know it, to
- 11:53understand it.
- 11:54So, don't shy away from it, right? When
- 11:56they ask you questions about, you know,
- 11:58AI and I've even done this. They ask me
- 12:00questions about like AI research and
- 12:02things and I'm like, oh, yeah, you know,
- 12:03I'm not a I don't lean on AI too too
- 12:05much or whatever. And then then I get on
- 12:07boarded by them. They're like, all
- 12:08right, here are our AI systems. Like,
- 12:09you just want to go to
- 12:10you're just going to want to go to AI
- 12:12for this straight up. All right. It's
- 12:14really it's really really insane. But,
- 12:15it just goes to show that you learning
- 12:17AI and actually using it and putting it
- 12:19into your process will put you a very
- 12:21far. Now, I want to put you on a little
- 12:22bit of game here. This is what I call
- 12:24the social proof shortcut. The social
- 12:27proof shortcut. Because when you're
- 12:29starting out, remember I said that
- 12:30experience is not everything? Experience
- 12:32is not everything, but it sure is
- 12:34something. It sure is something that's
- 12:36going to make it easier. It's going to
- 12:38make it better for you and just better
- 12:40in general.
- 12:42And you want to know the easiest way to
- 12:43get experience? It's actually not just
- 12:45through applying cuz let's be honest,
- 12:47right? You're going to apply to a bunch
- 12:48of places. You might get some test
- 12:49projects, but it's still going to take
- 12:51time and it's still going to be a grind
- 12:53through just like finding all the
- 12:54applications that you can, applying to
- 12:55all of them. And without any previous
- 12:58clients, I mean, you're probably going
- 12:59to end up just at a gig that's just not
- 13:01that great anyways.
- 13:03So, instead, you can actually get
- 13:05you you can literally get clients today.
- 13:07You can get clients today by doing
- 13:09something completely different, which is
- 13:11the social proof shortcut. All that
- 13:13entails
- 13:14is finding a creative strategist who
- 13:16already has clients, which I mean, you
- 13:18don't have to go far.
- 13:19You don't have to go very far to to find
- 13:21that.
- 13:22Find a creative strategist that already
- 13:23has clients
- 13:25and do some work for them.
- 13:27Right? Uh I have a client and I need
- 13:31four creatives
- 13:32for for them by next week. Do you think
- 13:35you can make them for me? And then you
- 13:37can say, "Yeah, I've made the creatives
- 13:39for this brand." And they actually
- 13:41tested them as well. So, you get to see
- 13:44the results from your creatives that
- 13:46have been run. And you get to use those
- 13:48results as [clears throat]
- 13:50your social proof, put them in your
- 13:51portfolio. People ask you who you've
- 13:53worked for, you're able to actually
- 13:54point to someone who you've worked for.
- 13:56Now, obviously be up front about it. Be
- 13:57like,
- 13:58don't be like, "Oh, yeah, I I helped
- 13:59scale this business from scratch. I
- 14:01built it on the on the ground level."
- 14:03Cuz that's that's not true. But, you've
- 14:05still written for that business. You've
- 14:06still done creative strategy for that
- 14:08business. And most people, again, they
- 14:11don't they take experience at face
- 14:13value, okay? So,
- 14:15even if you just get 10% more hireable
- 14:18or 10% better, that's still a 10% you
- 14:20really really want. So, how do you even
- 14:22find a creative strategist that's
- 14:23willing to do this with you? It's very
- 14:25very simple. You have to network. You
- 14:27have to be a part of a community. And
- 14:29the more vetted the community, the
- 14:31better. So,
- 14:33you can go into a free community, you
- 14:35know, meet people, right? That's great.
- 14:36But, if you go into like a a mentorship
- 14:39or a mastermind or something that costs
- 14:41like a couple thousand dollars to get
- 14:43in, that's something that you already
- 14:45have
- 14:46uh again, it's pre-vetted, right? Only
- 14:48the people who are genuinely willing to
- 14:50invest in themselves are going to be in
- 14:51there. And most of the people in there
- 14:52are going to have more clients. The free
- 14:54communities, people in there might have
- 14:56clients. A lot of people in there are
- 14:57going to have clients. But, there's
- 14:58going to be way more people without
- 15:00clients than people with clients. So, it
- 15:02comes becomes a little bit harder. But,
- 15:03all you have to do is be a genuine part
- 15:05of that community. I'm not saying that
- 15:07you need to just join it and then all of
- 15:09a sudden clients are going to fall into
- 15:10your lap. No, you need to join it. You
- 15:11need to show up to calls if there are
- 15:13any calls. You need to message other
- 15:14people. You need to get in the message
- 15:16boards. You need to ask them for advice.
- 15:17You need to share your best advice.
- 15:18Share something that you learned that
- 15:19actually helped you. Give some value to
- 15:21other people as well. and you will just
- 15:23become a part of that community. And
- 15:24being a big part of the community, I
- 15:26mean, that right there is just going to
- 15:27help you
- 15:28much more than anything else. I've
- 15:30already seen this play out multiple
- 15:32multiple multiple times where there was
- 15:34this copywriter and creative strategist
- 15:35who was at He's past 10k per month now,
- 15:38basically.
- 15:39Past 10k per month now, and there was
- 15:42another mentorship student as well. He
- 15:44was just kind of starting out. So, he
- 15:45outsourced a lot of his work, right? The
- 15:48senior copywriter.
- 15:50Outsourced a lot of his work to the
- 15:50junior copywriter. Didn't pay him that
- 15:52much, right? I actually don't even know.
- 15:54He probably didn't pay him all that
- 15:55much, right? Couple hundred bucks,
- 15:57couple thousand bucks. But, he what he's
- 15:58really doing it for is the experience,
- 16:00anyways. And the senior copywriter now
- 16:03gets a little bit of a lighter workload,
- 16:05which is awesome. That's exactly what
- 16:06you want, a little bit of a lighter
- 16:08workload. I mean, what more can you
- 16:09really ask for? Because one of them has
- 16:12a lot of time, but not not much money.
- 16:14The other one has lots of money, but
- 16:16just not that much time. So, they make a
- 16:17very fair exchange. And this is like a
- 16:20complete shortcut. This is why it's
- 16:21called the social proof shortcut in
- 16:23general. If you're looking for
- 16:24communities, I have a bunch down below
- 16:26in the description, and free ones are
- 16:27available as well. Okay, so now I want
- 16:29to take you guys to the tactical
- 16:30practical section. What do you actually
- 16:32need to do? What are the actions that
- 16:34you need to complete in order to make
- 16:36this happen? Well, first one is very
- 16:38very simple. You just apply to some
- 16:39places on places like LinkedIn,
- 16:41X {slash} Twitter, right? Same thing.
- 16:43And Upwork. You're looking for places
- 16:45that are hiring that are remote, right?
- 16:47So, they can't say that you have to be
- 16:49in the US if you're not in the US, etc.
- 16:51Some of them say they're remote, but US
- 16:53only, so from anywhere within the US.
- 16:56So, you want to find ones that would
- 16:57work for your country. Ideally, you're
- 17:00just starting out. You probably don't
- 17:02want to go for like senior roles or
- 17:04senior positions, but there's still ones
- 17:06that you can apply to anyways. I like to
- 17:07tell people that you should have a
- 17:08tiered system, a tiered approach. Tier
- 17:11one is like the top tier. It's like, if
- 17:13you're a junior copywriter and it says
- 17:14junior copywriter hiring for 3k per
- 17:16month, then that's like, yeah, that's
- 17:18definitely one that I want to apply to.
- 17:19But even if it says like, senior
- 17:21copywriter or senior creative
- 17:23strategist, you have to have at least 3
- 17:25billion meta ads spent before
- 17:28in your portfolio, then that's one that
- 17:30you're probably not going to land, but
- 17:31screw it, man. You just just apply
- 17:32anyways, cuz you never really know. Then
- 17:34tier three is like the ones that are
- 17:35just disqualified. They're looking for
- 17:37people who are in a country that you're
- 17:38not actually even a part of. Next is to
- 17:40apply better than anybody else. And you
- 17:42know, people think that I just say this,
- 17:44but the example I give is that there's
- 17:46only really three ways to apply better
- 17:48than else. The first one is quality. If
- 17:50they want a brief from you, go out and
- 17:53do your own research and give like
- 17:54Reddit screenshots in the brief itself,
- 17:57or or give something else, or give a
- 17:59Loom video when they don't even ask for
- 18:02one. Anyways, this is you going above
- 18:04and beyond. Next is quantity. If they
- 18:07ask for two scripts or two briefs, give
- 18:09them three briefs. Very very simple. And
- 18:11then the last one is timeline. If they
- 18:13ask for it on Wednesday, give it to them
- 18:14by Monday. Couple of very very extremely
- 18:18easy and simple ways that you can just
- 18:19over deliver. And again, you can get
- 18:21creative with this. When you're about to
- 18:23get on an interview with one of these
- 18:25businesses, for example, you can bring
- 18:27an extra project that you just made,
- 18:29right? They haven't even given you a
- 18:31test project yet, but yet you come to
- 18:32the interview and you're like, "Hey, so
- 18:34I had
- 18:3530 minutes today between clients and I
- 18:38decided to
- 18:39make a little bit of a creative
- 18:40breakdown for your ads and I don't have
- 18:44any of the data within the Facebook ads
- 18:47manager.
- 18:48So this is kind of just, you know, me
- 18:49from the outside looking in, but here
- 18:51are some things that I'm seeing. Here
- 18:53are some things that I'm noticing. You
- 18:54just taking a huge amount of initiative
- 18:57will literally just slaughter the
- 18:59competition. They won't be able to keep
- 19:00up keep up because
- 19:01if they are more experienced than you,
- 19:03they're probably already working for
- 19:04clients and they don't have time to
- 19:05really go above and beyond. And if
- 19:07they're just starting out, they probably
- 19:08just suck. So you get to beat absolutely
- 19:10everybody. Next is the interview. The
- 19:12interview is a very simple process to
- 19:14prepare for. People often ask me like,
- 19:16"Oh, I got my first interview, like what
- 19:18do I say?"
- 19:19All you really need to do is master the
- 19:22questions that you know they'll probably
- 19:24ask and study
- 19:27creative strategy and copywriting enough
- 19:29or whatever the position you are
- 19:30applying for. Study enough to where if
- 19:33they ask you a situational question,
- 19:34you'll be able to answer it. If they ask
- 19:36you, how do you know when to turn off a
- 19:39Facebook ad? For example, or if it's
- 19:41performing or not.
- 19:43Then you have to have somewhat of a
- 19:44semblance of an answer for that. Or
- 19:48something that you know that they're
- 19:48going to ask you is, tell me a little
- 19:50bit about your experience.
- 19:51Right? Um, how many clients have you
- 19:53worked with before? And if you're
- 19:55somebody who hasn't worked with any
- 19:56clients before and you get asked that
- 19:57and the first time you even thinking of
- 19:59an answer is right there on that call,
- 20:01you're going to bomb.
- 20:03And you're going to you're going to
- 20:03stumble over your words. Um, and you're
- 20:05going to try to figure out a way to say
- 20:07that you have experience when you don't
- 20:08have any on the spot and it's not going
- 20:10to be smooth. It's not going to be
- 20:11great. So, instead, what you want to do
- 20:13is just have this all these things
- 20:15pre-planned. Again, if you want the
- 20:17actual like everything in-depth and see
- 20:19some of my interviews, that's in the
- 20:20free 4-hour copywriting and creative
- 20:22strategy course that I just uploaded as
- 20:24well. Next two things, really simple. Do
- 20:27the social proof shortcut. I already
- 20:29went into what it is and how to do it,
- 20:31but I'm telling you that is the number
- 20:32one fastest, easiest way to get clients.
- 20:34And then finally, it's just to land,
- 20:36deliver, and scale the clients.
- 20:38Genuinely be interested in their Stripe
- 20:41account. Be interested in their ads, in
- 20:44their money. And your money and your
- 20:47compensation will come. But you have to
- 20:49genuinely work really hard for these
- 20:51clients, right? That's the part where
- 20:52it's like it's it's easy to get clients
- 20:55now for [snorts] the most part. And
- 20:57everything else is easy, but genuinely
- 20:58you have to put your best foot forward.
- 21:00You have to initiate every single
- 21:03conversation. They shouldn't be like,
- 21:05"Yo, where is that guy?" They should be
- 21:07wondering what you're doing today. Every
- 21:09single morning, you should be giving
- 21:10them an update. Hey, uh here's how this
- 21:12is going. I have these briefs written
- 21:14up. Tell me if you think that these ones
- 21:16are on the right track, etc., etc.
- 21:18Right? All All of these are best client
- 21:20practices. And then, of course, you're
- 21:21going to learn. You're going to learn so
- 21:23much just from starting and just from
- 21:25getting on your very first account.
- 21:26That's basically it. That's all there is
- 21:28to it. If you do every single thing that
- 21:29I talked about here in this video, you
- 21:31will have no issues becoming a highly
- 21:33paid copywriter and creative strategist.
- 21:35And who knows? Maybe I'll be doing a
- 21:36success interview with you in not too
- 21:39long. Anyways, guys, that's it for now,
- 21:41and I'll talk to you guys on the next
- 21:42one. Peace.
