1. 0:03The new Moretti mansion was a fortress,
2. 0:06but even fortresses have cracks.
3. 0:09While Alessia was away at a meeting with
4. 0:12the port authorities, Bianca noticed
5. 0:15something was wrong. The guards were too
6. 0:17quiet. The air felt heavy. She walked
7. 0:21into the grand office and found Enzo,
8. 0:25Alessia's longest serving lieutenant,
9. 0:27sitting at the desk. He was holding a
10. 0:30folder of secret bank codes.
11. 0:33"Alessia's becoming soft because of you,
12. 0:36Bianca." Enzo said, his voice cold. "A
13. 0:40mafia boss shouldn't have a weakness.
14. 0:43The other families think we're a joke
15. 0:45now. I'm taking control tonight for the
16. 0:48good of the empire."
17. 0:51Enzo pulled a pistol and aimed it at
18. 0:53Bianca. He expected her to scream or
19. 0:56beg. Instead, Bianca laughed. A low,
20. 1:01dark sound she had learned from Alessia.
21. 1:04"You think I'm the weakness?" Bianca
22. 1:07asked, stepping closer to the gun until
23. 1:09the cold metal pressed against her
24. 1:12forehead. "You think Alessia hasn't
25. 1:15taught you how to handle a snake like
26. 1:17you?"
27. 1:18Outside the door, footsteps thundered.
28. 1:22Alessia kicked the door open, her eyes
29. 1:25wild with rage. She saw Enzo holding the
30. 1:28gun to Bianca, and for a second, the
31. 1:31powerful boss looked truly terrified.
32. 1:35"Drop it, Enzo!" Alessia roared, her
33. 1:38hand shaking on her own weapon. "I will
34. 1:41peel the skin from your bones if you
35. 1:43hurt her."
36. 1:45Enzo smirked. "See? She can't even think
37. 1:48straight when you're in danger. You've
38. 1:50ruined the Moretti name."
39. 1:53But before Enzo could pull the trigger,
40. 1:55Bianca moved like a blur. She reached
41. 1:58into the slit of her dress, pulled out a
42. 2:00small hidden dagger, and drove it
43. 2:03through Enzo's hand. The gun hit the
44. 2:05floor.
45. 2:07Before Enzo could scream, Bianca grabbed
46. 2:09the gun, kicked him out of the chair,
47. 2:11and pinned him to the ground with her
48. 2:13heel on his throat. She aimed the pistol
49. 2:16directly between his eyes. "Alessia
50. 2:19isn't the one you should be afraid of,
51. 2:21Enzo." Bianca whispered, her eyes
52. 2:24glowing with a dark fire. "She protects
53. 2:28the city. I protect her, and I don't
54. 2:31give second chances."
55. 2:34Alessia stood frozen, watching the woman
56. 2:37she loved handle a traitor with more
57. 2:40coldness than she ever had. She realized
58. 2:43then that Bianca wasn't just her
59. 2:46addiction. She was her equal.
60. 2:49Alessia signaled the other guards to
61. 2:51drag Enzo away to the dark rooms. When
62. 2:54the doors closed, Alessia rushed to
63. 2:57Bianca, grabbing her arms, checking her
64. 3:00for scratches. "You shouldn't have done
65. 3:02that." Alessia breathed, her voice
66. 3:05cracking. "You could have died."
67. 3:07"I told you in the ruins of the old
68. 3:10house, Alessia." Bianca said, smoothing
69. 3:13the collar of Alessia's shirt. "I am a
70. 3:16Moretti. I am the shadow that protects
71. 3:19the boss."
72. 3:21Alessia pulled Bianca into a crushing
73. 3:23embrace, burying her face in Bianca's
74. 3:26hair. The drama of the betrayal had
75. 3:28sparked a new kind of fire between them,
76. 3:32not just passion, but a deep, dangerous
77. 3:35respect.
78. 3:36"The city will hear about this." Alessia
79. 3:39murmured against her skin. "They will
80. 3:41know that there are two queens, and one
81. 3:44of them is even more terrifying than the
82. 3:47other." "Good." Bianca whispered,
83. 3:50leaning back to look into Alessia's
84. 3:52obsessive eyes. "Let them watch us. Let
85. 3:56them try to stop us."
86. 3:58As they stood together in the moonlight,
87. 4:01the message was clear. The Moretti
88. 4:03empire didn't have a weakness. It had a
89. 4:06new heart, and it was made of steel.
90. 4:11And that, my friends, is how the new
91. 4:13queen of the city handles a traitor.
