0:01tonight we're so thankful that you're
0:02here I'm going to go to 2 Kings chapter
0:044 2 Kings chapter 4 thank you for
0:07listening to me on that earlier deal and
0:09and understanding thank you so much for
0:12that um 2 Kings chapter 4 verse one now
0:18there cried a certain woman of the wives
0:22of the sons of the prophets unto Elisha
0:26saying thy servant my husband is dead
0:31and thou knowest that thy servant did
0:34fear the lord and that the Creditor is
0:37come to take unto him my two sons to be
0:41bondmen and Elisha said unto her what
0:43shall I do for thee tell
0:46me what hast thou in thine house and she
0:50said thine handmaiden hath not anything
0:53in the house
0:56save a pot of oil
1:00then he said go borrow thee vessels
1:02abroad of
1:04all thy
1:08neighbors th this this next line right
1:11here is written a little differently
1:13because it's 1611 Kings English but he's
1:17saying they've got to be
1:18empty they don't need to have anything
1:20in
1:21them borrow not a
1:26few borrow not a few and when Thou Art
1:30come in Thou shalt shut the door upon
1:31thee and upon thy sons and shal pour out
1:34into all those
1:36vessels and thou shalt set aside that
1:39which is
1:41full and she went from him and shut the
1:43door upon her and her sons who brought
1:45the vessels to her and she poured
1:48out and it came to pass that when the

1:54son bring me yet a vessel and he said
1:58unto her there is not a vessel more and

2:05quit then she came and told the man of
2:08God and he said go sell the oil pay th
2:11debt and live thou and thy children on

2:33do I'm about to preach a message by
2:37request all right they I didn't um this
2:42is not what I planned to preach tonight
2:44this is not what I purposed to preach
2:47tonight but my
2:52kids savan and
2:56Matt Dylan and Olivia
3:00and my wife they all got on me today and
3:03told me to preach this
3:06tonight I've never done that
3:10before I guess I'm getting old and
3:15weak but I'm going to preach By Request
3:18tonight and this is going to be the
3:20title of my
3:22message the Lord of what's
3:25left the
3:27Lord of what's left God bless you you
3:29can be seated would you lift your hands
3:32and ask the Holy Ghost to speak
3:35tonight Hallelujah God In The Name of
3:38Jesus talk to our hearts and our minds
3:40our thinking our
3:41spirit speak in this place tonight in
3:44the precious precious
3:46name of Jesus Christ in Jesus name we
3:51pray
3:54amen now in the scripture that I read in
3:58your hearing Bri brother Brian Henry did
4:00such a tremendous job using the
4:03scripture just a few Services
4:06ago and but I want to go back to it and
4:10I I want to preach to you about an
4:14amazing story in the Bible this is this
4:18is one of the most amazing stories in
4:20the
4:22Bible and I have been I've been
4:25preaching this message
4:27for uh somewhere around 35 years I
4:31preached this message the first time
4:32this is this message I'm about to preach
4:35is an old message that I preached as an
4:37evangelist just about everywhere I
4:39went my wife told me today it was one of
4:42my her favorite messages when we were
4:44evangelizing because she got to hear the
4:46same sermons over and over and over
4:50again wherever we
4:53went and any of y'all that ever
4:55criticize a preacher for that obviously
4:58have never preached
5:02because if you have a tool chest full of
5:04tools you're going to have a full few
5:07tool tools in that tool chest that
5:08you're going to be partial
5:11to because they
5:13work and if a tool
5:16works you use it
5:21again it'd be silly not
5:25to and uh no one ever gets on to the
5:28singers for singing a song
5:31again but they think a preacher ought to
5:33have something brand new every time he
5:36preaches and we do it's a brand new
5:41anointing I've never I've never preached
5:44a message that it turned out the same
5:46way
5:47twice because when God takes over that
5:51thing takes a life of its
5:54own and sometimes that means it turns
5:56out real good and sometimes it means
6:00it you wonder what
6:02[Music]
6:04happened but that most of the time has
6:07to do with the
6:08crowd because there's two anointings
6:11that a man operates under one is a
6:15vertical anointing it comes straight
6:17down out of heaven and the other's a
6:19horizontal anointing and it's pushed
6:21onto that preacher from the
6:24pews
6:26hallelujah hallelujah and so I I want I
6:29want to preach to you for a few minutes
6:31about the Lord of what's left now this
6:33this is an amazing story because this
6:37lady was the wife of a
6:40prophet you you would expect her you
6:43would expect this woman
6:46to you you'd expect her to know about
6:49miracles and you would expect her to
6:52know what God can do her her husband was
6:56a
6:57prophet he worked operated in the
7:00prophetic I mean that's Elisha knew her
7:04this was this is one of his
7:08prophets that has died and she calls
7:11Elijah in Elisha in I'm sorry and begins
7:15to tell
7:17Elisha that she's lost it
7:20all that's the story is that she's lost
7:25everything
7:26everything has been lost now man this is
7:30this is so vital and this is so
7:32important that you grasp this and get a
7:34hold of what I'm
7:36saying she's she's lost it all
7:39now what stands out to me in this
7:43story is that our faith is always for
7:47other
7:51people and when it happens to us we tend
7:55to forget everything we've been telling
7:57other people
8:02because if someone else would have come
8:04to this prophet's wife this pastor's
8:06wife this preacher's
8:08wife with the same story that she was
8:11given this Prophet
8:14Elisha she would have given the same
8:18advice to them that Elisha gave to
8:23her but when is
8:27you when is you that had the
8:30loss it seems like all memories of
8:33everything God's ever
8:36done somebody steals it out of your
8:42file oh come on
8:45now there is a he listen to me he's not
8:48just a
8:50killer he can't just kill your dream it
8:53would be wonderful if that's all he did
8:56if he just killed your dream
9:01but he don't do that he also robs your
9:03God
9:05file and all of a sudden you can't
9:08remember one Miracle one
9:11Deliverance one answer and it's as if
9:14you're facing the first problem you've
9:16ever faced and you don't even know if
9:19God can deliver or
9:21not it's like you've never heard a
9:24testimony and you've never heard can
9:26anybody testify that you've been there
9:32and she calls the prophet in and she
9:36sounds like a brand new convert that's
9:39never had an experience with God
9:44before I have lost it
9:48all I've lost everything here's her very
9:51words I don't have anything
9:55left that's what she said that that's
9:58the very word that's cor that's recorded
10:01in the Bible I don't have anything left
10:05and then she don't want to
10:08lie and she said
10:13well I mean there's a pot of all what's
10:20that well obviously that pot of all was
10:24a
10:26lot because a bunch of that gave her a
10:32retirement oil must have been worth
10:39something because that's the very thing
10:42that he used to totally change her
10:46life totally turn her life
10:52around but her story was I have
10:55nothing
10:57left I mean not a
10:59thing C can I just shoehorn this in
11:02that's exactly where God wants you
11:09sometimes because if you can get back
11:11what you've
11:13lost you can blame the Miracle on your
11:17Ingenuity if you can get back what
11:20you've lost you can make you can blame
11:22the Miracle on your
11:26abundance if you can get back what
11:28you've lost
11:30you can blame the Miracle on whatever it
11:33is that you
11:36regained but if he works a miracle out
11:39of
11:41nothing then you can only say all you
11:44can say is only
11:50God somehow he sometimes he likes to put
11:53you in a position that you have to say
11:55only God
12:02if it had not been for
12:04Jesus if it had not been for the Lord
12:08you know sometimes he wants you there
12:11sometimes he just put not because he
12:12don't love you but because he does love
12:17you sometimes he puts you there not
12:19because you've done anything wrong but
12:21because you've done everything right and
12:23he can't show you a miracle he can't
12:25show you his hand he can't show you his
12:28greatness
12:31until you have to say only
12:36God my God have mercy we're we're so
12:39limited that we think the only way we
12:40can get there is because we've done
12:42something wrong or we've made a mistake
12:44or we've made God mad or we've upset God
12:48that's not what it is sometimes he does
12:49it because he loves you and he wants you
12:51to have more faith than anybody
12:55else he wants you to have a testimony
12:58that nobody else
13:00has he wants you to have a testimony
13:03that no one else can lay claim to your
13:05testimony all of a sudden it's not a
13:07mundane testimony anymore all of a
13:10sudden it's not an average testimony
13:11anymore all of a sudden you got a
13:13treetop tall
13:18testimony now you've got the testimony
13:20to beat all
13:25testimonies sometimes he wants to set
13:27you apart
13:29he lets you lose everything not because
13:31he loves you but because he trusts
13:36you job didn't lose any everything
13:39because he was a sinner he lost
13:40everything because he was a
13:43saint job didn't lose everything because
13:45he was unfaithful he lost everything
13:47because he was
13:49faithful job didn't lose anything
13:52everything because God was mad at him he
13:54lost everything because God was he was
13:56special to God
13:59oh you're not you're not hearing me
14:02preach he didn't lose everything because
14:04God didn't trust him he love he lost
14:07everything because God trusted him more
14:09than anybody else on
14:18Earth man he didn't he didn't lose
14:20everything because God didn't like him
14:22he lost everything because God wanted
14:23him to have his own book in the Bible
14:26yeah that's it
14:30his name wasn't going to be a part of a
14:32book his name wasn't going to be a part
14:34of a story he wasn't going to be
14:36mentioned in somebody else's book he got
14:39oh my God he took everything from him
14:42and left him with nothing so that he can
14:44give him a book with his name on
14:50it
14:51yes
14:53wow my God he's not written in the book
14:56of Kings he's not written in one of the
14:58prophets
15:00my God he's got his own book it's the
15:02Book of Job and the only way he could
15:04get there is he had to lose it all he
15:07had to lose it all he had to lose
15:10everything in order to have his own

15:47memory what if God wants you to have
15:49your own
15:51book what if God wants you to have a
15:54book with your name on

16:00my Lord have mercy when you turn to the
16:03Book of Job you start reading you got to
16:05understand the only reason there's a
16:06book of Job is because somebody lost it
16:11all there wouldn't be a book of job if
16:14somebody had lost it
16:17all but I'm preaching to you about the
16:19Lord of what's left
16:31woo my God have
16:33mercy well that was a good message how
16:36have I pastored here 27 years hadn't
16:38preached
16:40this and
16:43so this little woman is telling the
16:47prophet I don't I don't have
16:49anything and I I can almost hear
16:53Ela You Know M maybe I'm reading things
16:56in if I'm reading things in forgive me
17:00but I can almost hear Elisha get a
17:02little irritated with
17:04her because all she wants to do is talk
17:07about what she's
17:11lost all she wants to do is complain you
17:14you can almost tell when she's telling
17:17him yeah that he was the last on her
17:20list she's already told
17:23Suzy she's already called
17:27Jill I mean it's too
17:30rehearsed she's already called to
17:33complain to everybody that would listen
17:34I've lost it all my husband's dead
17:37they're coming to get my
17:39boys I mean she's already got all the
17:41mileage she can squeeze out of it and
17:43said well I guess I'm going to have to
17:44go tell the prophet I I can't think of
17:46anybody else to complain
17:51to I thought I lost my batteries there
17:54y'all got so Qui
17:59and when she starts in with the preacher
18:01he hears it in her tone that she's
18:05getting just a little too much out of
18:06telling
18:09this and he shuts her down and he says
18:12hey have you got anything
18:19left I can't work a miracle out of what
18:22you've
18:23lost but if you got something
18:27left yes sir

18:32why is that I'm going to tell you why
18:34because talking about what you've lost
18:36just keeps dousing your faith when you
18:38talk about what you've lost it it's a
18:41faith
18:42sucker when you talk about what you've
18:44lost it strips you of hope it strips you
18:46of Joy it strips you of Peace when all
18:49you can talk about hey you can talk for
18:52years about what you've lost I've seen
18:54people Circle what they've lost for a
18:56decade I've seen people Circle they've
18:59lost for 20 years the people that that
19:01I've pastored that never have a miracle
19:03never get anywhere never have any Joy or
19:06the people that's hung up on what
19:08they've
19:12lost God have mercy that's all they can
19:15do they want to get you aide you can't
19:17get over their house and get a good cup
19:19of coffee and talk about the Lord they
19:22got time to talk about the Lord they
19:23want to get you over there and talk
19:25about the husband they lost the house
19:27they lost the business they lost the car
19:29they
19:33lost you'll never get a miracle talking
19:37about what you've lost all
19:40right in fact somewhere you got to get
19:43sick of discussing what you've
19:45lost somewhere you got to say it is
19:51enough it is enough I have circled this
19:56mountain long enough
20:02that's what happened to the he Hebrew
20:04children lost in the wilderness for 40
20:07years they circled the same mountain and
20:09they circled that mountain and they
20:10circled that mountain until finally the
20:12man of good God stood up read it in your
20:15Bible he said you have circled this
20:17mountain long enough you can't get into
20:20canaan's land the land of promise
20:22circling this mountain if you're going
20:24to go into the miracles of god you got
20:27to quit cing this
20:33mountain and I came to preach to
20:35somebody tonight not to be rude but not
20:38to be unkind but to tell you it's time
20:40for you to shut up about what you've
20:44lost it's time for you to quit talking
20:47about what you've lost it's time for you
20:49to quit discussing what you
20:52lost it's robbing you of Faith it's
20:55stealing your Miracles it's taking your
21:01Joy because God can't do anything with
21:05what you've
21:07lost but if you got anything left is
21:11there anything left in your
21:13[Music]
21:18house let me tell you something it just
21:20happened to be a partt of
21:22O that just that it's just happen stance
21:25he could have done it if she had said
21:28all I have is one
21:32dress he could have done it if she had
21:34said all I have is a piece of rope he
21:36just said well go get
21:39it oh my God have mercy you we going to
21:42make you enough rope to pull in ever
21:44ship in the Middle East that's
21:48right to off ever
21:51boat you going to sell rope my God have
21:55mercy you you going to sell rope till
21:58you put for rope vendor out of business
22:01that's
22:04right it wouldn't have mattered if it
22:06had been a Scarlet
22:08thread she'd have found ever Rahab on

22:20important because he said have you got

22:48earth full of fish and oceans and seas

22:59that's just your faith he just wants you
23:01to be a part of the Mir oh oh my God

23:07mercy you miss what I just said he could
23:10have done it without the pot of all he
23:13just wanted her to be a part of the
23:16miracle he wants you to be a part of the
23:20miracle he want you to have some skin in
23:22the game he want you to have some
23:24investment in the process

23:44prophetic he's such a God that sees the
23:47future that one day months before she
23:50reached in there and started to use that
23:52pot of all and God said

24:01your life but you're going to be needing

24:16to leave that pot of
24:20oil and never a time in the next three
24:23months did she find any use for that pot
24:25of oil cuz every time she reached for it
24:27God said I hope you're just moving it we
24:30Ain using that that's right man we got a
24:33process for that's going to be a lot
24:35more than a kettle of fish
24:38right woo we got something coming from
24:40that it's going to be a whole lot more
24:42Fried Chicken
24:44do man we're not going to use that for
24:46wings we like wings but that ain't going
24:48to be used for
24:50wings
24:52yeah we're going to use that to make
24:55your own story in the Bible
25:026,000 years from now they're going to be
25:04talking about your faith they're going
25:05to be talking about your pot of
25:07oil woo I gave job a book but I'm going
25:10to at least give you a story you going
25:11to have a
25:16story it's going to take that pot of oil
25:18to get you there but hey I got to get
25:20you down to nothing before that pot of
25:21oil me see that pot of oil won't mean
25:23anything but fried chicken unless I take
25:25you to nothing that pot of oil won't be
25:28a story in the Bible until I get you to
25:30nothing I got to get you to nothing
25:31before I can put your name in the book I
25:33I got to get you to nothing before I can
25:35put your story in the word you got to be
25:38down to nothing and then that pot of O
25:40is going to mean everything it's it's
25:42going to mean
25:47everything I got somebody here the
25:49reason your Miracle you've been praying
25:50but the reason your Miracle is pushing
25:52off he because all you want to talk
25:53about is what you've lost all you want
25:55to talk about is what you've lost all

27:15have enough Faith to pour it
27:20out and notice he didn't say go listen

27:25me I know people she had a folder's
27:29coffee can
27:32somewhere she had a five gallon bucket
27:34from Home Depot
27:37somewhere that was empty vessel she
27:40already owned but the only way the
27:42miracle happened is she had to pour it
27:44out into somebody
27:48else's you can't keep it in your house
27:50you can't pour it into your son you
27:52can't pour it into your daughter because
27:54you still keeping it you hadn't given oh
27:56my God until you pour it into somebody
27:59else's
28:02vessel you got to pour it into somebody
28:04else's
28:06vessel you got to trust all you've got
28:09left into somebody
28:14else you got to get it outside your
28:19doors my God
28:28and then he he hey he knew how people
28:33were he knew when you ask people to
28:35strike the ground they only hit it three
28:38times he knew people pet her out too

28:50few I mean you can almost hear the smirk

29:12interpretation but let me just tell you
29:13what I believe about
29:15it I believe if that woman would have
29:19kept baring vessels that's right and
29:22kept pouring that's
29:24right and then her sons would have kept
29:27baring vessels and kept pouring and
29:30their sons would have kept baring
29:31vessels and kept pouring and their kids
29:34would have kept baring vessels and kept
29:35pouring that 6,000 years later somewhere
29:38over in the Middle East we'd be talking
29:40about somebody that's been pouring oil
29:42for 6,000 years out of a little pot that
29:46you can hold in your hand
29:55right God have
29:57mercy and so I'm prophesying to somebody
29:59in this place
30:00tonight thank y'all thank y'all for
30:03telling me to preach this message CU I
30:04feel it now it's on me there's people in
30:07this house this is your sermon this is
30:09your message this is
30:12your it's time tonight to make up in
30:15your mind I'm not talking about that
30:17failed business one more time I'm not
30:19talking about that bankruptcy one more
30:20day I'm not I'm through talking about
30:23that divorce I'm I'm I'm through talking
30:25about what I've lost I'm through talking
30:27about that car reposition possession I'm
30:28I'm through talking
30:32about some of you are worried because
30:34you lost your dignity some of you are
30:36worried because you lost the confidence
30:37of your family some of you worried
30:39because of of drugs or whatever it was
30:42drinking alcoholism Ju Just Just Pure
30:44being young you think you've lost
30:47people's confidence and Family's
30:48confidence and you've lost money and
30:50you've lost bank accounts and you've
30:51circled that and you've talked about
30:53that and it's kept you from walking into
30:55your destiny and I'm preaching to you
30:58Tonight Tonight is the last night we're
31:00going to talk about what we've lost
31:02Tonight is the last night we're going to
31:04talk about what we've got
31:10left I just want to ask you have you got
31:13one shred of Hope

31:24don't take a whole lot just use the

31:42seed do you understand what God can do
31:46with one Ox go he can destroy a
31:49Philistine Army have you got anything
31:52any idea what God can do with a Jawbone

32:01can do with a stick if it's stuck out

33:40known a man they're going to have to say
33:42only God and I'm telling you God's got
33:45you in the position if you'd quit
33:47talking about what you've lost and give
33:49him what you've got left you know what

33:54God stand and lift your hands and cry

34:01throw your hands in there and begin to
34:03cry out with all that is within you

34:06now come on everything that's within

34:14your voice lift your hands lift your
34:21heart my God my God my God my God my God

35:20rebellious they thought he's going to

35:24Kid his parents was worried that he's
35:26going to be a Jesse James
35:29Billy wouldn't
35:30listen Billy wouldn't obey Billy was
35:33rebellious he was angry he was full of
35:35all kind of
35:36rebellion at 10 years old he went with
35:39his daddy into
35:41town
35:43and his daddy had to go to the
35:45blacksmith shop to get work done on his
35:49Carriage he went in the black Shi Smith
35:51shop and begin to talk about talk to the
35:54blacksmith he said I need needs some
35:57work done out here and so the black
36:00blacksmith was working working in his in
36:04his Kil or whatever they call it I don't
36:06even know what they call that in the
36:07blacksmith shop Forge thank you he's
36:10working in his
36:12Forge
36:15and they had to leave the forge to go
36:17out and look at the
36:21wagon and he turned around and said come
36:23with us Billy and Billy shook his head
36:25no Billy didn't want to go with them he
36:27want stay in the blacksmith shop he said
36:28okay Billy he said you can stay in this
36:30blacksmith shop but don't you touch
36:33anything don't you touch anything in
36:35this blacksmith
36:37shop they were only going a few minutes
36:39they went out and looked at the axle the
36:41wheel or whatever it was that needed
36:42repair by the blacksmith
36:44and while they were gone Billy typical
36:47to
36:49Billy went over and begin to pump up the
36:52Bellows getting that fire hot and he
36:55walked and looked and into that Forge
36:58and when he did a big old hunk of iron
37:01ore popped out of that Forge and hit him
37:04right in the
37:05face and burnt both of his eyeballs out
37:08of his
37:12sockets Billy only got angry he only got
37:15more
37:17rebellious and he'd be be heard to say
37:19I've lost it all I've lost everything if
37:21I don't have my sight I don't have
37:23anything Billy became what we would call
37:25today probably a suicidal
37:30angry
37:33mad
37:36finally Billy changed one
37:39day he decided if he was going to live
37:41he was going to have to make the best
37:42out of his
37:44life he begin to go to a school for the
37:48Blind and it was there that Billy's
37:51loss became his greatest
37:55Miracle because he decided he did have a
37:57brain left he might not have his sight
37:59but he hadn't lost it
38:03all he could
38:06think I'm not going to drag this story
38:08out because I want to give this alter
38:10call God's got a miracle for several
38:11people in this house
38:13[Applause]
38:16today but years later you would know
38:19Billy but if he hadn't lost at all you'd
38:22probably never have known his
38:24name in fact his family said he'd
38:26probably ended up on death row or killed
38:29by a gunman at an early
38:31age but you know Billy as William
38:36Braille because he invented the Braille
38:39reading system for the
38:41blind but he had to lose it
38:48all but somewhere Billy had to decide
38:51I've cired the tree I've lost it all
38:53long enough I've got to use what I've
38:55got left
