- 0:01If you can see it here and you have the
- 0:04courage enough to speak it, it will
- 0:07happen.
- 0:08So, who's the best player in the world
- 0:09ever? Me.
- 0:11Where does this confidence come from?
- 0:12What were you like as a child? Were you
- 0:13always like this? Did you know you were
- 0:15destined for greatness?
- 0:16I was always one of those guys. Yeah.
- 0:20The first step before anybody else in
- 0:24the world believes it is you have to
- 0:25believe it. To all of you out there,
- 0:28please keep your dreams alive. Dreams
- 0:31are something you have to believe in. I
- 0:34almost gave up on mine. They say stories
- 0:37like this only happen in the movies. I
- 0:40cannot believe it's happening to me.
- 0:43Mom, I just want an Oscar.
- 0:48Anything's possible. Anything's
- 0:51possible.
- 0:53The mind is but a magnet for what you
- 0:55want. You know what I'm saying? The law
- 0:56of attraction.
- 0:57Fourth grade, I went in my closet. I
- 0:58said, "I am going to the NBA."
- 0:59I was a kid, I used to visualize
- 1:01stadiums and and like raising my hand
- 1:04and visualizing a arena full of fans and
- 1:07that that was something I done as a kid.
- 1:09So, I always had these visions of
- 1:11something. You have to do that. You have
- 1:12to battle with this.
- 1:14Whatever the mind can conceive and
- 1:17believe, the mind can achieve.
- 1:20So, a lot of times people believe in
- 1:22certain things, but they keep to
- 1:24themsel. If they don't put it out there,
- 1:26if you truly believe in it, if you
- 1:29become vocal with it, you are creating
- 1:32that law of attraction and it will
- 1:33become reality.
- 1:35Connor, you've been dreaming about this
- 1:36moment. You've been talking about this
- 1:37moment. Honestly though, does it feel
- 1:40the way you thought it would?
- 1:42Yeah, it does. It feels beautiful. I
- 1:44dreamt this so much, so clearly, so
- 1:47precisely, and so frequently that it has
- 1:50manifested itself into reality. And
- 1:52that's what we that's what I am feeling
- 1:54right now. It's it's a dream come true.
- 1:55Why not you? You've got the brains. You
- 2:01can make decisions. You can study the
- 2:04plan. You can change your life. You can
- 2:07grow immensely in the next few years.
- 2:10You can make your dreams come true. You
- 2:12can build a financial wall around your
- 2:14family. Nothing can get through. You can
- 2:16become healthy. You can become powerful.
- 2:19Why not you? There's this thing about
- 2:22people and they talk about manifesting.
- 2:26It's real, man. Manifesting is real.
- 2:29When you figure out who you are and what
- 2:32you want to do and you devote your life
- 2:34to it like like a maniac, like you're
- 2:37all in on this thing and you manifest,
- 2:41most of these people end up, you know,
- 2:43doing what they say they're going to do
- 2:44and being who they say they're going to
- 2:46become. It's real. It's and there's no
- 2:49excuses. There's no days off. There's no
- 2:52uh you know not willing to grind and you
- 2:55know the the everybody's against me and
- 2:57this didn't happen for me because of
- 2:58this and that and all this whining.
- 3:00There's these people who dive in and
- 3:02they're hardcore and they're focused and
- 3:03they know what they want. They know who
- 3:04they are and they lay out these
- 3:07short-term goals and this road map on
- 3:09how to get there. most of those people
- 3:11make it. uh you know through just true
- 3:13through true through true through true
- 3:14through true through true through true
- 3:14through true through true through true
- 3:14through true through true years in the
- 3:14gym through true true wins through
- 3:17losses through life I just realized that
- 3:19if you say it to yourself and you look
- 3:21yourself in the eye and look yourself in
- 3:22the mirror and truly truly believe that
- 3:24not a man alive can be you then that
- 3:26that is the way it is and and just
- 3:28through hours in the gym and preparation
- 3:30I feel that I am untouchable right now
- 3:33I think that there's a certain
- 3:36delusional quality that all successful
- 3:40people have to have you have to believe
- 3:44that something different than what has
- 3:46happened
- 3:47for the last 50 million years of
- 3:51history. You have to believe that
- 3:53something different can happen.
- 3:54Confucious said, uh, he who says he can
- 3:59and he who says he can't are both
- 4:02usually right.
- 4:03Wow. So, your brain doesn't really know
- 4:05the difference between Say that again.
- 4:08between something that happened in real
- 4:11life or something that you strongly
- 4:12visualize.
- 4:13Wow. So you could create
- 4:14most people talk to themselves in terms
- 4:16of doubt and fear and worry and anxiety.
- 4:18Talk to yourself positive. I can do it.
- 4:20I can do it. I can do it. I can do it.
- 4:21Just repeating I can do it. I can do it
- 4:24over and over again. Boost your
- 4:25self-confidence and boost your
- 4:27self-esteem.
- 4:28We did not come this far to just break
- 4:30down and lose. Now everything's not
- 4:32always about winning and losing. I'm a
- 4:36winner.
- 4:37I'm going to win.
- 4:38There's people like us where we're crazy
- 4:40in the sense that we believe to be it's
- 4:43almost delusional sometimes. Yeah. Like
- 4:45what was the one I've heard this quote
- 4:47on the JRE before? It's like greatness
- 4:50and madness are nextdoor neighbors and
- 4:52they just borrow each other's sugar once
- 4:53in a while.
- 4:54I literally it was madness. It was me
- 4:56prepared for having a sports car paddle
- 4:58shifts. So I shifted you know three.
- 5:00This is I bro I can manifest like a
- 5:02mother.
- 5:04Everything comes from the imagination.
- 5:06Everything comes from the imagination.
- 5:07So the power of the mind people don't
- 5:09understand. We still don't understand. I
- 5:10still don't understand how powerful it
- 5:12is. I'm still learning. But I know one
- 5:13thing is I can make things happen. I can
- 5:16go into levels. I just can't tell the
- 5:18world. But like there's levels that like
- 5:20I've manifested things that I'm just
- 5:22like I still shock myself like how the
- 5:24did I make that happen? And this is not
- 5:26even to do with fighting. This is to do
- 5:27with my personal life. And I'm like I
- 5:29made that happen. And this is through
- 5:31this like manifesting subconsciously as
- 5:33well. just years of something just
- 5:35manifesting, manifesting, and boom, it's
- 5:37right there. I'm just like, I really
- 5:39made that happen. It's scary, man.
- 5:41You have to understand you are a magnet.
- 5:44Whatever you are, that's what you draw
- 5:46to you. If you see it in your mind, you
- 5:50can hold it in your hand. You got to
- 5:52create dream boards. You got to put the
- 5:54new car up on your mirror. Put the
- 5:56weight you want to be on the
- 5:58refrigerator. If you can see it in your
- 6:00mind, you can hold it in your hand.
- 6:02That's the law of attraction. And now
- 6:04here's my last question on the questions
- 6:06to ponder is why not now?
- 6:09Your future hasn't been written yet. No
- 6:12one's had. Your future is whatever you
- 6:15make it to make it a good one.
- 6:17If a person would sit down and let their
- 6:20body relax, totally relax and then start
- 6:23to visualize in their mind. See
- 6:26themselves the way they want to see
- 6:27themselves. See how you'd like to live
- 6:30your life. See yourself living it that
- 6:32way. Okay. Now understand that that's a
- 6:34picture in your mind and then take that
- 6:37picture and describe it. Write it out in
- 6:40the present tense. I am so happy now
- 6:43that I see myself and write it out.
- 6:46Start to read it and read it and read it
- 6:49and read it every day. Carry it around
- 6:51and keep reading it. The one point that
- 6:54all the great teachers all down through
- 6:56history have all agreed on. They've been
- 6:58in complete unanimous agreement on it.
- 7:00We become what we think about. Now, it
- 7:02may be fantasy at first. It might even
- 7:05appear to us as being a lie. But if you
- 7:08read it often enough, you'll start to
- 7:09believe it. And when William James said,
- 7:11"Believe in your belief will create the
- 7:13fact." You will see the person's
- 7:14personality change.
- 7:16Me signing my uh my signature uh with
- 7:18Champion 2011 on it. Um it can't hurt
- 7:21me. It can't hurt me. It could uh could
- 7:23only help me to believe it even more,
- 7:25you know? So, yeah. I mean, it works for
- 7:26me.
- 7:29Everything is possible in your life when
- 7:32you believe. When you believe,
- 7:34everything is possible. Everything is
- 7:37possible.
- 7:39Oh.
- 7:41Oh. And take it whatever you want to do.
- 7:44Anything you say with the words I am,
- 7:47your subconscious will then take that as
- 7:48a command.
- 7:49You know, I used to go up to Mhulland
- 7:50Drive every night, sit on the side of
- 7:52the road, look out at the lights, and
- 7:54and go, uh, you know, I'm a popular
- 7:57actor. I'm uh you know every every
- 8:00director wants to work with me and I
- 8:02used to like open my arms and imagine
- 8:04things you know things that I wanted
- 8:06coming in my way and stuff. I I would
- 8:08stay up there until I actually believed
- 8:10that I had all these things and then I
- 8:12would drive down the mountain feeling
- 8:13like the the biggest star in Hollywood.
- 8:15I wrote a check out to myself for $10
- 8:17million for acting services rendered and
- 8:21I put it in my wallet and I carried it
- 8:23for that many years. And what happened
- 8:26was basically a few months ago we did
- 8:29the deal for the mask for $10 million.
- 8:32$10 million payment for doing the mask,
- 8:34right?
- 8:35And so it's very surreal for me. It's
- 8:38it's it's strange.
- 8:39We become what we think about most of
- 8:43the time. And that's the strangest
- 8:44secret. This is why thinking is so
- 8:46vital. This is why a goal is so
- 8:49important because we will become that.
- 8:52Connor, in February of 2013, we spoke
- 8:54for the first time. You didn't have a
- 8:55car. You didn't have a pot to piss in.
- 8:57All you had were blueberries. Now here
- 8:59you are with the undisputed gold. Enjoy
- 9:02it, my friend. You deserve it. You
- 9:04called it.
- 9:04Yeah. From nothing to something to
- 9:07everything. So that's where I am right
- 9:09now.
- 9:09And I've always had visions of better.
- 9:12I've always visualized better. And in
- 9:15times of struggle,
- 9:18like driving around, driving down in a
- 9:20banger of a car that I had to push
- 9:22start, I'd be still driving a soft top
- 9:24Bentley around beautiful California in
- 9:27my head. And lo and behold, now I am
- 9:31driving a beautiful soft top Bentley
- 9:33around California. So I always
- 9:36visualized good things. I always
- 9:38visualize victory, success, abundance.
- 9:42I visualized it all and it's all
- 9:43happening.
- 9:44Act like the person you want to become.
- 9:46That's not fake it till you make it. By
- 9:48the way, this is intentional.
- 9:50Intentionally act like the person you
- 9:52want to become. Because when you
- 9:54intentionally act like the person you
- 9:56want to become, your brain sees you
- 9:59taking those actions. So, your brain
- 10:01starts to change the way it relates to
- 10:03you. When your brain sees you
- 10:06high-fiving yourself in the mirror, it
- 10:09starts to go, "Oh, wait a minute.
- 10:12Stephen loves himself.
- 10:14Steven's cheering for himself. We don't
- 10:16beat Steven up."
- 10:17But again, nothing changes for me. You
- 10:19know what I mean? I already felt like
- 10:20I'm had money back then, even though I
- 10:22didn't have money. I always felt like I
- 10:23was the champ, even though I wasn't the
- 10:25champ. You know what I mean? So, nothing
- 10:26changes for me. I still feel the same
- 10:28way as I did before. I continue to do
- 10:30what I do day in day out. I show up at
- 10:32the gym. I train when I when I leave the
- 10:34gym I take down notes of what happened
- 10:36in in training all the scenarios that
- 10:39have occurred all what we learned what
- 10:40we did I go back to the gym I repeat and
- 10:43then that's it that's my life
- 10:44the three most common traits of highly
- 10:46successful people do you remember those
- 10:47so the three most common traits of hyper
- 10:50successful people that they looked at
- 10:51and it was interesting so number one was
- 10:52that they had a superiority conflict
- 10:54they thought they were better than other
- 10:55people and that they deserved more the
- 10:56second is that they suffered from
- 10:58massive insecurity and feeling that they
- 10:59would never be enough and third they had
- 11:02impulse Control
- 11:03visualization activates your
- 11:05superconscious capabilities and releases
- 11:08your mental potential. The clearer the
- 11:10picture is in your mind, the more
- 11:12rapidly your subconscious and
- 11:15superconscious go to work to bring it
- 11:17into your reality. My father always
- 11:20jokes that I could be doing anything. He
- 11:21said, "Listen, I'm going to by the time
- 11:22I'm 25 years old, I'm going to be a
- 11:24self-made millionaire." And he laughed
- 11:26at me.
- 11:26How old are you?
- 11:27I'm 24 now. So, you know, I feel like a
- 11:30millionaire. I feel like a superstar.
- 11:31And that's the way I kept that's the way
- 11:33I felt back then when I first started.
- 11:35You know, I kept that vision in my head.
- 11:36I kept that belief. I hit the gym. I
- 11:39trained hard. I believed in my
- 11:40abilities. And now here I am.
- 11:42Let me leave you with some words from
- 11:43Muhammad Ali.
- 11:45Impossible is just a big word thrown
- 11:48around by small men who find it easier
- 11:51to live in a world they've been given
- 11:53than to explore the power they have to
- 11:55change it. Impossible is not a fact.
- 11:57It's an opinion. Impossible is not a
- 11:59declaration. It's a dare.
- 12:02Like you just decide what it's going to
- 12:05be, who you're going to be, how you're
- 12:07going to do it. Just decide. And then
- 12:10from that point, the universe is going
- 12:12to get out your way. It's like it's
- 12:13water. It wants to it wants to move and
- 12:16go around stuff, you know? So for for
- 12:18me, I want to represent possibilities. I
- 12:22want to represent the idea that you
- 12:25really can make what you want. There's
- 12:27only one thing that's impossible, and
- 12:29that's to be a man that doesn't give up.
- 12:31You need an alter ego, a version of you
- 12:34that's limitless.
- 12:36Make your weaknesses their strength.
- 12:38Make your insecurity their confidence.
- 12:40Give them a name. Give them traits.
- 12:43Create an amazing character. When you
- 12:46need them, let them take over. And
- 12:49eventually, you won't need to pretend.
- 12:52It will just be you.
- 12:53This is why people who set goals achieve
- 12:55them. The trouble with men is not in
- 12:57achieving their goals. They do that.
- 12:59It's in establishing them. I think it's
- 13:01good to remember that if we just go
- 13:02along with the crowd, we won't wind up
- 13:04with much more than the wish that we can
- 13:06do it all over again. And as far as we
- 13:07know, you can't. If we want to amount to
- 13:10anything as individuals need individual
- 13:12goals, individual thinking, individual
- 13:15actions and we must never conform to the
- 13:18big group.
- 13:18This is the law of attraction. I mean,
- 13:20you have to in the struggle, you know,
- 13:23when when things are going good and you
- 13:24visualize these good things happening,
- 13:26you visualize more good things happen.
- 13:27That's easy. What's not easy to do is
- 13:30when things are going bad
- 13:32and you're visualizing the good stuff
- 13:34and that that was what I was able to do.
- 13:35I was able to, you know, even though I
- 13:37was having these troubles at home and
- 13:39even though I had no real I had no job,
- 13:41no, you know what I mean? Or whatever, I
- 13:43still was able to feel like it was. I'm
- 13:45sitting here holding the steering wheel
- 13:47visualizing a brand new car. and
- 13:48visualizing good things in times of
- 13:50struggle. And that when you can do that,
- 13:53I think that really makes the the the
- 13:55that law of attraction work. I think it
- 13:57really attracts to you more. You know
- 13:59what I mean? Cuz that is harder to do
- 14:01when you're in the struggle to to
- 14:02visualize these things.
- 14:03You have to believe in yourself. You
- 14:05have to believe that you're here for a
- 14:06purpose to enrich the world. Your
- 14:09destiny is in your mouth, in your mind.
- 14:11Once you receive that that level of
- 14:13confidence, you know what I mean? And
- 14:15it's practiced properly. It was the path
- 14:19of genius. There's nothing more supreme
- 14:20than confidence. Confidence breeds
- 14:22success and success breeds confidence.
- 14:24Applied properly, you're in conquerable.
- 14:27I am in a state of zen. The closer the
- 14:29fight comes every time. I say it over
- 14:32and over. The face becomes blank. There
- 14:35is no face. It's just blank and a fresh
- 14:37body type. I am calm, cold, ruthless,
- 14:42and ready to take out the body that's in
- 14:44front of me. Ever since you came to the
- 14:46UFC, the confidence has been sky-high.
- 14:48You said you were going to be the
- 14:49champion. You said you were going to
- 14:50take over. You've achieved all that and
- 14:52probably more. You really have taken
- 14:53over the sport. Un undoubtedly the
- 14:55biggest star in it. Where does this
- 14:57confidence come from?
- 14:58You know, confidence grows through
- 15:00through work ethic, through through
- 15:01seeing what's happening around you and
- 15:03and that's it. I put the work in and and
- 15:05it's paying off.
- 15:05Whenever you think whenever you think
- 15:08you can't, the confidence comes from the
- 15:10thing that you built. You must build
- 15:14belief. You must build confidence. I can
- 15:17knock that [ __ ] out. It's a belief and
- 15:20it's built on what you put in to
- 15:22yourself.
- 15:23We're all in a battle with our own
- 15:24brains.
- 15:25It's the most powerful thing in the
- 15:26world is your own brain. It can work for
- 15:28you or against you.
- 15:29And when did you start to realize that
- 15:31the visualization could work for you?
- 15:33Cuz the visualization got you through
- 15:35the SEAL training. I think
- 15:37it did. And I was able to visualize the
- 15:40end. So, so before, so when I was 297
- 15:43and I was all fat and out of shape and I
- 15:45couldn't run a quarter mile and I was
- 15:47drinking milkshakes and eating boxes of
- 15:48donuts, I visualized, man, how would it
- 15:51feel? So, after I watched that show on
- 15:53Discovery Channel, for a brief moment, I
- 15:56was So, there was 22 guys that
- 15:58graduated, I watched this segment on TV
- 16:01about these guys going through Navy Seal
- 16:02training, and I couldn't even I I wasn't
- 16:04a great swimmer. I was afraid of the
- 16:06water, all this, man. And um I saw these
- 16:10guys just quitting, but at the very end
- 16:12it says 22 guys, this commanding officer
- 16:14is up there and he gives this great
- 16:15speech. I was like, man, I wonder. So I
- 16:18started visualizing me being the 23rd
- 16:20guy in these dress whites sitting there
- 16:23with these guys getting that Navy Seal,
- 16:26you know, graduating this Navy Seal
- 16:28training. I was like, God. So I put
- 16:30myself there. I was like, man, that's
- 16:31that's a amazing feeling. I put myself
- 16:34there at 297, not even able to do
- 16:36anything that these great men were
- 16:38doing. I said, "Man, if I could feel
- 16:40that, that would change my life."
- 16:42I kept going, not because I wanted to.
- 16:45Trust me, all of me wanted to stop. I
- 16:48kept going because I deserve to know
- 16:51what not giving up on myself felt like.
- 16:53Great rule. You become what you think
- 16:55about, but you become what you say to
- 16:56yourself. So, what you do is you say to
- 16:59yourself these magic words. You say, "I
- 17:02never give up." Say it. Say, "I never
- 17:05give up. I like myself and I never give
- 17:07up."
- 17:08Around 2010, 2011, um I went through
- 17:12this huge spiritual thing where I um I
- 17:15became obsessed with um the power of the
- 17:18mind, meditation, visualization, and
- 17:20just realizing how powerful our minds
- 17:23actually are in our level of
- 17:24self-belief. I I just took myself to
- 17:26this different mental level where I took
- 17:29myself from being average, very uh
- 17:31average-minded to actually believing
- 17:33that I was the and believing that I
- 17:36could be the and that I could be the
- 17:37goat and be the greatest and never lose.
- 17:39I took myself to a different place
- 17:40mentally and a lot of it came from um
- 17:44mental practice and meditation and
- 17:46visualization and just seeking knowledge
- 17:48from people who are strong believers.
- 17:50You know, I always dreamed as a kid
- 17:52that, you know, it was possible to score
- 17:5480 or 90 or 100. I always just like, you
- 17:57know, had a dream, you know, like
- 17:58sometimes you lay down in bed and you
- 18:00visualize things. You just kind of, you
- 18:02know, just that's how that's at least
- 18:04how I would go to sleep. I lay down. I'd
- 18:06imagine playing for the Lakers and I'd
- 18:08imagine what the uniforms look like. I'd
- 18:10imagine when we' be playing, you know,
- 18:13the smell of the arena and all stuff and
- 18:15I would see myself, you know, getting
- 18:17hot. So you just keep dreaming and
- 18:19dreaming and dreaming and before I go to
- 18:20sleep I'm like at 120 points you know
- 18:23and so and so when you grow up
- 18:26downloading that into your brain over
- 18:27and over and over and then you know that
- 18:30summer I made a thousand shots a day a
- 18:33thousand
- 18:34before you go to sleep every night
- 18:36visualize yourself being doing and
- 18:38having the good which you desire and
- 18:40when you impress the subconscious just
- 18:42before going to sleep the subconscious
- 18:45works with that idea that you've given
- 18:47it Even while you're asleep, the
- 18:48subconscious mind will be correlating
- 18:50you with all of the good which you have
- 18:52visualized. You say you may not realize
- 18:54it, but your mind is working for you are
- 18:57against you even while you are asleep.
- 19:00Once you figure out your brain, you
- 19:03become unstoppable
- 19:06to almost anything. Your brain's
- 19:08amazing. Once you feed it the right
- 19:11conversation, the right mental
- 19:14nutrients, the right mental supplements,
- 19:18the right the right internal dialogue at
- 19:21the right time with the right hit with
- 19:24the right proof of what you've done in
- 19:26the past and you send it right to the
- 19:29right circuit, dude, you're a beast. A
- 19:32beast. I truly believe we are all equal
- 19:35as human beings. If we are obsessed with
- 19:37something and we truly pursue our
- 19:39passion with everything we have
- 19:40regardless of any anything else. If you
- 19:44are obsessed, work hard, put in the
- 19:46time, you will succeed. And and that is
- 19:48a philosophy that I carry. I remember
- 19:50during a one lunch break, I was in the
- 19:52car park and it was pissing rain down
- 19:54and I just said to myself, I don't there
- 19:57was some music playing and I it was like
- 19:58some there wasn't even words to it. It
- 20:00was just a kind of a beat and I got like
- 20:01real I I went somewhere with it and I
- 20:03was like I'm I'm out of here. I'm I'm
- 20:05going to just drive out out of this
- 20:07building. So, I head home and and and
- 20:09pursue this dream of of becoming a world
- 20:11champion in mixed martial arts. And
- 20:12that's what I did. I drove home. When I
- 20:14got home, my mother and father said,
- 20:15"How come you're not still at work?" And
- 20:17I said, "I'm never going to go back to
- 20:18that site another day in my life." And
- 20:21then all hell broke loose. But through
- 20:24hard work, through dedication, they saw
- 20:26what I was uh pursuing and they
- 20:28supported me and and I I done it. I did
- 20:30it.
- 20:31Visualizing is is my biggest tool of
- 20:33life. That's why I I've been able to put
- 20:36myself in cold water, put myself in a
- 20:38100 mile race, and I've able to go
- 20:40through the race and see how I'm going
- 20:42to feel at mile 50 almost to the exact
- 20:45exact feeling,
- 20:46right? So, when it comes up, it's no
- 20:48surprise.
- 20:48It's no surprise. I've already done this
- 20:50a million times. And that's the one
- 20:52thing I've practiced and practiced and
- 20:53practiced and practiced overnight. But
- 20:55also, the most important thing is I I I
- 20:58practice that feeling of accomplishment
- 21:00that I'm going to have.
- 21:00Write everything you want on a piece of
- 21:02paper. everything. I don't care. Use
- 21:04your wildest imagination. If you can
- 21:07think it, you can achieve it. Write it
- 21:08on piece paper. Read it every morning
- 21:10and every night. Come back here one year
- 21:12from today and see how much of that
- 21:15stuff that came true. I will attract
- 21:17into my life what I am, not what I want.
- 21:20So that's the difference. It's like you
- 21:22get what you are rather than what you
- 21:24want. So you want to become. And I had
- 21:27one of the greatest lessons I ever
- 21:29learned and I'm about to share it with
- 21:30you. set a goal that'll make you stretch
- 21:32that far. And he said, "Here's why. For
- 21:35what it will make of you to achieve it."
- 21:39And I got one of the greatest classes in
- 21:42one sentence I've ever received in my
- 21:44life. Set a goal that'll make you
- 21:46stretch that far. For what it will make
- 21:49of you to achieve it. What a brand new
- 21:53reason for setting goals. What an
- 21:55allencompassing challenge to have a
- 21:58better vision of the future. but for to
- 22:01see what it will make of you to achieve
- 22:03it. And here's why. The greatest value
- 22:05in life is not what you get. The
- 22:08greatest value in life is what you
- 22:09become.
- 22:10My first rule that I always talk about
- 22:12to success is you got to have a very
- 22:14clear vision.
- 22:15Yes.
- 22:16Of where you want to go. Because if you
- 22:18don't have that, you're just floating
- 22:19around.
- 22:20And so, you know, I was very fortunate
- 22:22that I created that vision. Visualizing
- 22:26became a normal thing. If I can see it
- 22:31then it must be a reality and I can make
- 22:35it a reality.
- 22:37So for me the vision became a reality.
- 22:40So it was only then a matter of
- 22:42following through with the work to get
- 22:44there. Work your
- 22:46because every single time when I had a
- 22:50vision about anything
- 22:51Yeah.
- 22:52I had to work my ass.
- 22:54What you have at the moment Mr. Own
- 22:56you've attracted by the person you've
- 22:57become. what you have at the moment
- 22:59you've attracted by the person you've
- 23:01become. Few little simple principles
- 23:03here. Once you understand these, it
- 23:05starts to explain so much. Now,
- 23:07sometimes it's a little tough to take.
- 23:09Blaming yourself instead of the
- 23:10marketplace, taking responsibility
- 23:13instead of putting it off on someone
- 23:14else. Those that transition sometimes is
- 23:17a challenging mission. And this one was
- 23:20a little tough for me. He said, "Mr.,
- 23:22you've got pennies in your pocket.
- 23:23You've got nothing in the bank. The
- 23:25creditors are calling. you're behind on
- 23:27your promises. And he says, here's how
- 23:29that occurs. You've attracted up until
- 23:32now, you've attracted the things to you
- 23:35because of the person you've become.
- 23:37Now, I said, well, how can I change all
- 23:39that? He said, very simple. If you will
- 23:41change, everything will change for you.
- 23:45You don't have to change what's outside.
- 23:47All you've got to change is what's
- 23:48inside. To have more, you simply have to
- 23:51become more. And then he said, don't
- 23:53wish it was easier. Wish you were
- 23:54better. Don't wish for less problems.
- 23:57Wish for more skills. Start working on
- 23:59yourself, making these personal changes.
- 24:01And he said, "It'll all change for you.
- 24:03You attract what you feel, what you are,
- 24:06what you attract on your mind."
- 24:09What's on your mind? Yeah.
- 24:10It's like the law of physics. I don't
- 24:11know how anybody can disagree with that.
- 24:13It's just ask any physicist, they'll
- 24:16tell you that's true.
- 24:17You attract, not something you pursue.
- 24:20Success is looking for a good place to
- 24:22stay. So instead of going after it, you
- 24:25work on yourself. Personal development.
- 24:28See the major question to ask on the job
- 24:30is not what are you getting. The major
- 24:33question to ask on the job is what are
- 24:36you becoming? See the big question is
- 24:38not what am I getting paid here. The big
- 24:40question is what am I becoming here?
- 24:43You don't attract what you want. You
- 24:45attract what you are. Now think about
- 24:47that. If you want to attract what you
- 24:49want, you've got to see yourself already
- 24:51with it. Start to see yourself mentally.
- 24:54Use your imagination. See yourself
- 24:56already in possession of the good you
- 24:57desire. That will flip your mind onto a
- 25:00specific frequency. And you do think on
- 25:03frequencies. It's on that frequency that
- 25:06good you desire is going to start coming
- 25:08toward you and you will start moving
- 25:10toward it. If you want to attract what
- 25:12you actually want, you've got to see
- 25:14yourself now already with it. It's only
- 25:16a period of time till it manifests in
- 25:18physical form. Never stop. No matter how
- 25:21many failures, when you know you're
- 25:23doing what you're meant to do, you have
- 25:26to try. If you're going to try, go all
- 25:29the way. Otherwise, don't even start. If
- 25:33you're going to try, go all the way.
- 25:36This could mean losing girlfriends,
- 25:37wives, relatives, jobs, and maybe your
- 25:40mind. Go all the way. It can mean not
- 25:44eating for 3 or 4 days. It can mean
- 25:46freezing at a park bench. It can mean
- 25:48jail. It can mean derision, mockery,
- 25:52isolation.
- 25:53Isolation is the gift. All the others
- 25:55are a test of your endurance or how much
- 25:58you really want to do it. And you'll do
- 26:00it despite rejection and the worst odds.
- 26:03And it will be better than anything you
- 26:05could imagine. If you're going to try,
- 26:08go all the way. There's no other feeling
- 26:11like that. You'll be alone with the gods
- 26:14and the nights will flame with fire. Do
- 26:16it. Do it all the way. All the way. You
- 26:22will ride life straight to perfect
- 26:24laughter. It's the only good fight there
- 26:27is. I'm enjoying the fruits of my hard
- 26:30work. Nobody works harder than me inside
- 26:32the octagon, outside the octagon. I am a
- 26:35workhorse. So, I'm going to enjoy the
- 26:37benefits of this life. I'm going to get
- 26:39myself a big mansion in Las Vegas. I'm
- 26:41going to get the soft top cars. I'm
- 26:43going to bring my whole team out. want
- 26:45to spoil them and give them this life.
- 26:47Big states that size we're eating every
- 26:50single night each. We're eating good.
- 26:52We're living good. It's it's human
- 26:54nature. Some people will sit and take
- 26:56positivity from that. They will look at
- 26:58that and and take inspiration and
- 27:00inspire. It will inspire them to go and
- 27:02push for that. Others will shell up and
- 27:05critique it and and and be negative
- 27:07towards it. But one thing is sure, those
- 27:09people will stay where they are. the
- 27:11people who take inspiration from it will
- 27:13rise up and and also one day experience
- 27:15that life. So this is this is human
- 27:18nature. Some go one way, some go the
- 27:19other way. But I am I am enjoying my
- 27:22money, my hard-earned money that I that
- 27:24I have dedicated my life to. Now the
- 27:26latest research in neuroscience says you
- 27:28can change your brain just by thinking.
- 27:31So then as you begin to think about a
- 27:34new possibility and your brain begins to
- 27:37fire in new sequences and new patterns
- 27:39and new combinations and you begin to
- 27:41plan your behaviors and you begin to
- 27:44review in your mind, mentally rehearse
- 27:47who you're going to be in your life, the
- 27:49mere action of mental rehearsal begins
- 27:52to install the neurological circuits in
- 27:54your brain. Now your brain is no longer
- 27:57a record of the past. There's a law of
- 27:59attraction in the universe that says
- 28:01that you attract into your life people
- 28:03and circumstances in harmony with your
- 28:05own thinking. So if you start to read
- 28:08really good material, set goals, uh
- 28:10commit to your own personal development,
- 28:13strive to become good at what you're
- 28:14doing, listen to positive audio
- 28:16programs, associate with positive people
- 28:18like at this seminar. What happens is
- 28:20you set up a force field of energy that
- 28:22is invisible, but it attracts into your
- 28:24life people, circumstances,
- 28:27possibilities, opportunities that would
- 28:30not have been there in the absence of
- 28:31your own changed thinking. The person
- 28:34who's living in lack is waiting for
- 28:36their wealth to feel abundant. They're
- 28:39waiting for their success to feel
- 28:41empowered. They're waiting for their
- 28:43healing to feel gratitude. They're
- 28:45waiting for their new relationship to
- 28:47feel love. That's the Newtonian model of
- 28:50reality of cause and effect. Waiting for
- 28:52that event to happen to take away this
- 28:54separation or lack. Nothing wrong with
- 28:56it. It's the way most people create. But
- 28:58what we've discovered is actually
- 29:00something else. The moment you feel
- 29:03gratitude, your healing begins.
- 29:05The moment you feel worthy and abundant,
- 29:08you're generating wealth. The moment
- 29:11you're empowered, you are moving towards
- 29:13your success. The moment you're in love
- 29:15with yourself and you're in love with
- 29:16life, you'll create an equal. So that's
- 29:19causing an effect, right?
- 29:21When doubt creeps into your mind,
- 29:23remember that uh whatsoever a man
- 29:26believeth, that shall he also reap.
- 29:30Remember, faith is not something you
- 29:32get. Faith is something you already
- 29:35have. But you may be using it in reverse
- 29:37gear by believing in the circumstances
- 29:40and things you do not want, the things
- 29:43you fear. Remember also that faith is
- 29:46guidance only. It is not a power which
- 29:49will bring you what you want, but a
- 29:52power that can guide you to go after
- 29:54what you want and get it. There are many
- 29:57ways to get the things that we want for
- 29:59ourselves in our lives, but basically it
- 30:03all begins with how we choose to think.
- 30:06As you think, so shall you be. Seven
- 30:10little words that I think are perhaps
- 30:12the most important things that we can
- 30:14learn and master in our lives. This old
- 30:18proverb notion that I become what I
- 30:21think about all day long. And once you
- 30:24know that what you think about is what
- 30:27expands, you start getting real careful
- 30:30about what you think about. You don't
- 30:32allow your thoughts to be on anything
- 30:33that you don't want or that you wouldn't
- 30:36want to have manifest or show up for you
- 30:37in your life. Emerson said, "The
- 30:39ancestor to every action is a
