4. 0:15when you can start to change behavior.
5. 0:19Uh, Trinidad. This is a great, interesting case history
6. 0:23of how we look at problems.

8. 0:28[Nix] There are two main political parties,
9. 0:30one for the blacks and one for the Indians.
10. 0:32And you know, they screw each other.
11. 0:34So, we were working for the Indians.
12. 0:38We went to the client and we said, "We want to target the youth."
13. 0:42And we try and increase apathy.
14. 0:48The campaign had to be non-political,
15. 0:50because the kids don't care about politics.
16. 0:52It had to be reactive, because they're lazy.
17. 0:56So we came up with this campaign, which was all about:
18. 0:59Be part of the gang. Do something cool.
19. 1:01Be part of a movement.
20. 1:03And it was called the "Do So!" campaign.
21. 1:05[Kaiser] It means "I'm not going to vote."
22. 1:07[Nix] "Do so! Don't vote."

24. 1:12[man] The salute of resistance
25. 1:14that is known to all across Trinidad and Tobago.
26. 1:17Do So! Do So!

28. 1:23[Nix] It's a sign of resistance against, not the government,
29. 1:26against politics and voting.

33. 1:35This is the prime minister's house that's being graffitied.
34. 1:39It was carnage.
35. 1:42[Nix] We knew that when it came to voting,
36. 1:45all the Afro-Caribbean kids wouldn't vote,
37. 1:48because they Do So!
38. 1:49But all the Indian kids would do what their parents told them to do,
39. 1:53which is go out and vote.
40. 1:55They had a lot of fun doing this,
41. 1:57but they're not gonna go against their parents' will.

44. 2:05Thank God for the guidance that has brought us here to this victory.

46. 2:12[Nix] And the difference in 18- to 35-year-old turnout was like 40%.
47. 2:17And that swung the election about 6%,
48. 2:20which was all we needed in an election that's very close.
49. 2:26We now undertake ten national campaigns for prime minister or president each year.
50. 2:33Malaysia, we're working in.
51. 2:34[Kaiser] We did Lithuania, Romania, Kenya, Ghana.
52. 2:39-[Nix] So quite a few this year. -[Kaiser] Nigeria.
53. 2:42-[man] The Brexit campaign? -[Nix] Oh, and the Brexit campaign, yeah.
