The INFAMOUS Chris Watts front porch interviews — Transcript
Full transcript
- 0:01You're afraid people think you may have
- 0:02done something.
- 0:03>> Yeah. I mean, no, everybody's going to
- 0:05have their own opinion on on anything
- 0:07like this. I just want them people to
- 0:08know that I want my family back. Like, I
- 0:10want them safe and I want them here.
- 0:13Like, this house is not the same. I just
- 0:17I just want I want everybody just come
- 0:19home. Like, wherever they're at, come
- 0:20home. If she's vanished, like, I want
- 0:22her back so bad. I want those kids back
- 0:24so bad. They're not safe. Like, I want
- 0:27them back now.
- 0:29Like that that that's what's in my head.
- 0:30Like if they're safe right now, they're
- 0:32going to come back. But if they're not
- 0:34safe right now, that's what that's the
- 0:36not knowing part. Like Yeah. Cuz like
- 0:38Bella was going to start kindergarten
- 0:41next next Monday and they they were just
- 0:44getting ready to start.
- 0:44>> I I was it was torn tearing me apart
- 0:47last night and I needed that. I needed
- 0:49that last night. And
- 0:50>> hey guys, welcome back to another Chris
- 0:52Watts video. Today we'll be watching the
- 0:54infamous front porch interview brought
- 0:56to you by America's dumbest family
- 0:59annihilator, Chris Watts.
- 1:02>> Uh Chris Watts, WATS.
- 1:06>> What's going on right now around your
- 1:08house
- 1:09>> right now? It's got K9 units, the
- 1:11sheriff's department, everybody's like
- 1:13they're they're doing their best right
- 1:15now to figure out like if they can get a
- 1:17scent and see where they went. They went
- 1:20on foot. They went in a car. They went
- 1:22somewhere.
- 1:23>> Okay. So, I'm stopping at 22 seconds in.
- 1:26And the reason is because this is one of
- 1:28the first indicators that I saw at least
- 1:31the reporter asked him. So, tell us
- 1:33what's going on at your house. And
- 1:35Chris, rather than say, "Yeah, my family
- 1:37is missing." He talks logistics. The
- 1:39canine unit is here. The cops are here.
- 1:42They're trying to see if they can catch
- 1:44a scent to see if they they went
- 1:45somewhere. Did they go on foot? Did they
- 1:47go by car? Did they go by train? They're
- 1:50trying to get some scent. It's 22
- 1:52seconds into an interview of a man in
- 1:55Colorado whose family just went missing.
- 1:58Us as the audience, we still have no
- 2:01idea who he's talking about. Who is he
- 2:03talking about? Who who are they looking
- 2:05for? So anyway, that was just the very
- 2:07first thing that stood out for me. But
- 2:09let's continue.
- 2:10>> And right now, it's just like they've
- 2:12they've been on point. They're going
- 2:13through the house trying to get a scent
- 2:14and hopefully they can pick something up
- 2:16to where it's it's going to lead to
- 2:18something.
- 2:19>> What happened?
- 2:21Your wife came out and told me tell me
- 2:23what's
- 2:24>> she like she she came home.
- 2:25>> Okay, I'm going to go ahead and rewind
- 2:26that. But the reporter had to ask Chris,
- 2:29so what happened? Like what happened
- 2:30with your wife? Tell me more like tell
- 2:32us about the actual situation. This came
- 2:35from a reporter because the father,
- 2:37right, like the father and husband who
- 2:39is like, "Oh, where's my family?" hasn't
- 2:42once mentioned that his family is
- 2:44missing. And so the reporter had to kind
- 2:46of Hey bro, can you talk to us about
- 2:48your family? Like what happened? Let's
- 2:50continue.
- 2:51>> What happened?
- 2:52Your wife came home. Talk to me. Tell me
- 2:54what's
- 2:55>> she like she came home from the airport
- 2:572 a.m. And I left around 5:15 she was
- 3:01still here and like about 12:10. And
- 3:05that afternoon her friend Nicole showed
- 3:06up at the door. Like I had texted Shan a
- 3:09few times that day, called her, say, you
- 3:11know, but she never got back to me, but
- 3:13she wasn't getting back to any of her
- 3:14people as well. And that's what really
- 3:16concerned a lot of people is like she's
- 3:18not getting back to her. Like if she
- 3:19doesn't get back to me, that's fine.
- 3:20Like she gets busy during the day, but
- 3:22she didn't get back to her people, which
- 3:23was very concerning. And Nicole called
- 3:25me when she was at the door and that's
- 3:26when I came home. And then walked in the
- 3:30house and nothing. It's vanished.
- 3:32Nothing was here.
- 3:33>> And that's when I came home.
- 3:36vanish. Just everything vanished. Just
- 3:38no one was here. Those were the very
- 3:40first tells. Really, a minute in, I'm
- 3:43seeing zero emotion from this man who is
- 3:48pleading for his family to return.
- 3:50Within just the first minute of watching
- 3:53this video, I can say that none of us
- 3:55need a psychology degree to know that
- 3:58there was something wrong with this guy.
- 4:00It's just not normal. His behavior is
- 4:03not that of a father and husband who is
- 4:06urgently trying to find his family.
- 4:08There have been so many other interviews
- 4:10given by people who are innocent. There
- 4:12have also been interviews from people
- 4:15who have committed the crime pleading
- 4:17for their family's return. And even they
- 4:20do better at acting than Chris did. I
- 4:23knew that he did something that he was
- 4:25behind his family being missing because
- 4:27again, you don't need a psychology
- 4:30degree. You don't need to be this
- 4:31professional psychiatrist to know that
- 4:33this guy is lying about something being
- 4:36deceptive and he's trying to hide stuff.
- 4:39Not to mention the huge He's got a huge
- 4:42scratch on his throat. Yeah, this guy's
- 4:44family went missing and he has a huge
- 4:45scratch on his neck. Let's continue.
- 4:48>> I mean, she wasn't she wasn't here. The
- 4:50kids weren't here. No, nobody was here.
- 4:52>> What's your wife's name?
- 4:53>> Shannan. SN.
- 4:55>> What's your What's your kids?
- 4:57>> Bella and Celeste. spells.
- 5:00>> Uh, C E L E S T E.
- 5:03>> How old are you? How old are you?
- 5:07>> The camera crew is doing a great job
- 5:09zooming in on his face because when he
- 5:12was asked Shannan's name and to spell it
- 5:14out, he he did it so easily. He's just
- 5:16like Shannan.
- 5:17>> What's your wife's name?
- 5:18>> Shannan. S H A N.
- 5:20>> Then he's asked to spell Celeste's name.
- 5:23>> What's your What's your kids?
- 5:24>> Bell and Celeste.
- 5:26>> Spell Celeste. Uh, C E L E S T E.
- 5:31>> Right away, we can tell there there's
- 5:34something going on with his eyes. He's
- 5:35He's doing the slow blink. Like,
- 5:38something about saying Celeste's name,
- 5:40Celeste and Bella's name, and having to
- 5:42spell it out is bothering him. He's
- 5:45like, Celeste.
- 5:47Now, we know that he murdered them. But
- 5:50even then, even when we watched this
- 5:53interview seven years ago, something was
- 5:55weird. Why is he doing that? Why is he
- 5:58talking like this? Let's continue.
- 6:01>> Four. Bella is four. Celeste is three.
- 6:05>> And so, how many times did you try
- 6:07calling guard?
- 6:08>> I called her three times. Texted her
- 6:10about three times just to say, you know,
- 6:13what's going on? Like I for the after I
- 6:16called her.
- 6:18He texted her about three times and then
- 6:20he called her about three times just to
- 6:23be like, "Hey, you know, laugh.
- 6:26>> He's malfunctioning." And the reason
- 6:28he's malfunctioning is because he's
- 6:30lying. As we know, he texted her. He
- 6:32texted her about three times. That's it.
- 6:35And then he called her about three
- 6:36times. That's it. He did stage a lot of
- 6:38calls and a lot of text messages trying
- 6:40to make it seem like Shannan left,
- 6:42abandoned Chris, and oh, look at me. I'm
- 6:44the victim. That was the whole plan
- 6:46here. But here we see Chris again
- 6:49stumbling. He's stuttering. He's like
- 6:52because he was lying. He was lying from
- 6:54the get-go. But let's continue.
- 6:56>> And text her once is like like maybe she
- 6:58was just busy like she just gotten back,
- 7:00you know, like everybody's probably
- 7:02calling her from her trip. She just got
- 7:03back from Arizona and I figured she was
- 7:06just busy. But when her friend showed
- 7:08up, that's what it was like. It it
- 7:10registered like, "All right, this isn't
- 7:12right.
- 7:14>> All right, this isn't right.
- 7:18Chris has this stupid look on his face
- 7:21the whole time. That dumb smirk.
- 7:26Am I convincing, guys?
- 7:28Are my lying skills on point?
- 7:32No, they're not. You're terrible at
- 7:34lying. He's so awful. He's so bad at
- 7:37lying. And because of his terrible
- 7:40acting, I knew that this guy did
- 7:42something. His family is missing. I
- 7:44don't think he has them hiding
- 7:46somewhere. So, my immediate guess 7
- 7:49years ago when I first watched this
- 7:51interview was, "Oh, he killed them. He
- 7:53killed them." I wasn't shocked, not in
- 7:56the least bit, when I found out that he
- 7:58had a mistress. Because Chris is not the
- 8:00first family annihilator, Scott
- 8:02Peterson. I've talked about him ad
- 8:04nauseium in the past, but there's also
- 8:07the other Chris. If you guys haven't
- 8:09heard about the other Chris, his name is
- 8:11Chris Coleman. He murdered his wife and
- 8:14his two sons to be with his mistress,
- 8:17who happened to be his wife's friend.
- 8:20His mistress? Yeah. His mistress used to
- 8:22be his wife's friend back in high
- 8:24school. He annihilated that family, too.
- 8:27Staged this whole attack. He thought he
- 8:29was going to get away with it, but just
- 8:31like this Chris, that Chris was also an
- 8:34idiot. Let's continue.
- 8:37>> Do you think she just took off? Do you
- 8:38think? I I mean right now I don't even
- 8:40want to just like throw anything out
- 8:42there. Like I hope that she's somewhere
- 8:45safe right now.
- 8:46>> I hope here the reporter is asking him,
- 8:49"So what do you think happened? Do you
- 8:50think she just took off?" And Chris
- 8:52right away says, "Yeah, I don't want to
- 8:54throw anything out there, but I don't
- 8:56know. Could she have just vanished? Who
- 8:59knows? Who knows? Maybe uh it's because
- 9:01he was trying to throw that out there.
- 9:03He was aware that it was too early. It
- 9:06was way too early to be blaming Shannan
- 9:08and making it seem like, oh, I don't
- 9:10know, maybe she just took off and left
- 9:12with the children. I don't want to throw
- 9:14anything out there, though. Again, it's
- 9:17his demeanor, lack of emotion, zero
- 9:20tears. It doesn't even look like he has
- 9:23lost any sleep or like he's worried at
- 9:26all. He It doesn't look like he has
- 9:28cried all night wanting his family back.
- 9:31He looks like a normal dude. He looks
- 9:33like like they just picked up some
- 9:34stranger and they're like, "Hey, tell us
- 9:36a story." Like, "What's going on?" You
- 9:37see a lot of movement. What do you think
- 9:39is going on here? And then this random
- 9:40guy is like, "Yeah, you know, so there's
- 9:42a lot of canine units out here. There's
- 9:43like a sergeant over there. There's an
- 9:45officer. Oh, look, there's a detective."
- 9:48Oh,
- 9:49is that the fire department? Yeah. I
- 9:51don't know. Just lots of activity, you
- 9:53know. Very nonchalant. Not typical of a
- 9:57man whose family just went missing.
- 10:00Let's continue.
- 10:01>> All right. This isn't right.
- 10:05>> Do you think she just took off? Do you
- 10:06think?
- 10:07>> I mean, right now I don't even want to
- 10:09just like throw anything out there. Like
- 10:11I hope that she's somewhere safe right
- 10:14now and with the kids.
- 10:17But I mean, could she event? Could she
- 10:19just taken off? I don't know. But if
- 10:21somebody has her and they're not safe,
- 10:23like I want them back now.
- 10:25>> Like I want them back now. Could she
- 10:28have just vanished? Like I don't know.
- 10:30Maybe. But if she's not safe right now,
- 10:33like I want them back now. Do you guys
- 10:36believe me? I want them back now.
- 10:38>> They're not safe. Like I want them back
- 10:40now. Like that that that's what's in my
- 10:43head. Like if they're safe right now,
- 10:45they're going to come back. But if
- 10:47they're not safe right now, that's what
- 10:48that's the not knowing part. Like if
- 10:50they're not safe last night, I was I had
- 10:53every light in the house on. I was
- 10:55hoping that I would just get just ran
- 10:57over by the kids running in the door and
- 10:59just like barrel rushing me. But it
- 11:00didn't happen.
- 11:01>> It didn't happen last night. I just
- 11:04wanted them to barrel rush me. Just But
- 11:07it didn't happen. He's so unconvincing.
- 11:09I bet he knows that he's unconvincing.
- 11:11He knows that he's terrible at lying. He
- 11:14keeps stuttering. He keeps saying stupid
- 11:17things like, "Oh, I really wish that
- 11:18they had just barrel rushed me. Is he
- 11:22John Cena? What is he doing?" We can see
- 11:24you though. That's the thing is we all
- 11:27see you. And that was the issue, right,
- 11:30is that everyone saw him and so everyone
- 11:33knew he was guilty.
- 11:35Let's continue.
- 11:37>> And it was just a traumatic night trying
- 11:39to be here.
- 11:42>> It was just a traumatic night trying to
- 11:45be here.
- 11:49Again, notice that there is zero
- 11:51emotion. And the only expression that we
- 11:54see on Chris right now is a stupid
- 11:56smile, a smirk. He's holding back
- 11:59laughter. It's like he is so overjoyed
- 12:03at the fact that his family will never
- 12:05come back. And he wants to run to Nicole
- 12:08and celebrate the fact that they can now
- 12:10be together. Unfortunately for them,
- 12:13they couldn't be together. And that is
- 12:15the only joy that we are able to get out
- 12:17of this horrific crime. The only joy
- 12:20that we get is Chris didn't get to spend
- 12:23a single second with his mistress. The
- 12:25only expression and the only emotion
- 12:27that I do see in him is excitement, joy,
- 12:31happiness. He wants to laugh. He wants
- 12:33to celebrate. And I also get the sense
- 12:35that he's annoyed. He can't go be with
- 12:37Nicole. He did the deed. He got rid of
- 12:40the obstacle. the people that were in
- 12:42the way of his future, he got rid of
- 12:44them. And now there's this news crew. Oh
- 12:47man. And now the cops. Oh god. Now
- 12:49they're looking for Shannan and the
- 12:50girls, man. Now I have to get rid of
- 12:52these obstacles. But then once I get rid
- 12:55of all of this, then I can go be with
- 12:57Nicole. And that's what I'm sensing more
- 12:59out of anything else with Chris. And
- 13:01this is just 2 minutes in to this
- 13:04interview. All we can see is that this
- 13:06guy seems happy. He seems happy. This is
- 13:09not the face of a guy who wants his
- 13:12family back. Look, look at his Look at
- 13:15his smile.
- 13:21Let's continue.
- 13:24>> I'm going to ask some kind of tough
- 13:25questions about your relationship with
- 13:26your kids.
- 13:27>> Yeah. I mean, my kids are my life. I
- 13:30mean, those those smiles light up my
- 13:32life.
- 13:32>> The reporter asked, "Okay, tell me about
- 13:34your children. We're going to ask you
- 13:35some tough questions."
- 13:38Those smiles light up my life.
- 13:40>> I mean, those those smiles light up my
- 13:42life.
- 13:43>> He says the words, but they come out
- 13:45with zero emotion. I don't know what's
- 13:48up with Chris. I don't know if he really
- 13:51did believe that all he had to do was
- 13:53the bare minimum. This picture perfect
- 13:56persona that he had created for himself.
- 13:59you know, this loving and caring
- 14:01husband, this loving and caring dad.
- 14:04That is what was going to stand out. Oh,
- 14:06it wasn't this interview. No, it's not
- 14:08the fact that you're a bumbling idiot.
- 14:10That you're sounding like an absolute
- 14:13[ __ ] You're eyeblinking. You're
- 14:15laughing. You're smiling.
- 14:18You're saying stupid things. You're
- 14:20rocking back and forth. You're being
- 14:22nervous. None of those things. No.
- 14:24Everyone's going to ignore those things
- 14:26because everyone's going to focus on the
- 14:28Chris that we see on social media. Oh,
- 14:32just ask his friends. He's such a caring
- 14:34guy. Oh, he would never harm his family.
- 14:38He's so softspoken. Oh, where is Chris?
- 14:42Oh, there he is. I would have never
- 14:44known. Oh, you're so quiet. Not a peep
- 14:46from the boy. Wouldn't hurt a fly. That
- 14:49is what he was banking on. He was
- 14:52banking on the persona, the personality
- 14:55that that he had shown to his friends
- 14:58and his family. Everyone's going to
- 15:00think I'm innocent because like duh, why
- 15:03would I do this? That's the impression
- 15:05that I get from Chris 7 years later.
- 15:08Now, 7 years ago, no, this guy's guilty.
- 15:10He killed his family. Let's continue.
- 15:13>> Relationship with the kids.
- 15:14>> Yeah. I mean, my kids are my life. I
- 15:17mean, those those smiles light up my
- 15:19life. And there's like I mean last night
- 15:21like during like at you know when they
- 15:23usually eat dinner it was just like I
- 15:25miss them like I mean I missed telling
- 15:27them hey you got to eat that or you're
- 15:29not going to get your dessert you know
- 15:30just like you're not going to get your
- 15:32snack after but I miss that like I I
- 15:33missed them you know cuddle up on their
- 15:35couches. They have like a Minnie Mouse
- 15:37couch and a Sophia couch that they
- 15:38cuddle up on and watch you know Bubble
- 15:40Guppies or something. And it was just
- 15:41like you I I was it was tearing tearing
- 15:45me apart last night and I needed that. I
- 15:47needed that last night. And for that,
- 15:50for nobody to be here last night and to
- 15:52go into their rooms and not and know
- 15:54that I wasn't going to turn the rain
- 15:55machines on and I know that I wasn't
- 15:58going to turn their monitor on and know
- 16:00I wasn't going to kiss them to bed
- 16:01tonight. It was
- 16:04it it was I I that's why last night it
- 16:06was just horrible. I couldn't do it.
- 16:10It I just
- 16:12I just want I want everybody just come
- 16:13home, right? Wherever they're at, come
- 16:15home. If you were watching this
- 16:17interview 7 years ago and you weren't
- 16:20convinced that this man had something to
- 16:22do with the disappearance of his family,
- 16:25there's something wrong with you.
- 16:27Because if you watched this interview up
- 16:29until this point and saw this man say
- 16:32these things with that look on his face
- 16:36and that smile and that laugh and you
- 16:38still believed that he was a father and
- 16:41a husband who was pleading for the
- 16:43return of his family. I'm sorry, but
- 16:46you're someone who is easily fooled.
- 16:48There is nothing about this interview,
- 16:51especially at minute 350, that says,
- 16:54"Yeah, this guy is innocent. He didn't
- 16:57do anything." Let's watch that again.
- 16:59>> I mean, those those smiles light up my
- 17:01life. And there like I mean, last night,
- 17:03like during like at, you know, when they
- 17:05usually eat dinner, it was just like I
- 17:07miss them like I mean, I missed telling
- 17:09them, "Hey, you got to eat that or
- 17:10you're not going to get your dessert."
- 17:12you know, just like you're not going to
- 17:13get your snack after. I miss that. Like
- 17:15I I miss them, you know, cuddle up on
- 17:17their couches. They have like a Minnie
- 17:18Mouse couch and a Sophia couch that they
- 17:20cuddle up on and watch, you know, Bubble
- 17:22Guppies or something. And it was just
- 17:23like, you know, I I I was it was torn
- 17:27tearing me apart last night. And I
- 17:28needed that. I needed that last night.
- 17:30And for that for nobody to be here last
- 17:33night and to go into their rooms and not
- 17:36and know that I wasn't going to turn the
- 17:37rain machines on and I know that I
- 17:39wasn't going to turn their monitor on
- 17:41and know I wasn't going to kiss them to
- 17:43bed tonight. It was
- 17:46it it was I I that's why last night it
- 17:48was just horrible. I couldn't do it.
- 17:51It I just
- 17:54I just want I want everybody just come
- 17:55home. Like wherever they're at, come
- 17:56home.
- 18:00It it was I I that's why last night it
- 18:03was just horrible. I couldn't do it.
- 18:06It I just
- 18:07>> Yeah. Apart from the obvious laugh and
- 18:10the terrible acting, he says things that
- 18:13at the time still didn't make sense.
- 18:16Watching it now, we know that Chris
- 18:19spent a lot of time away from his girls.
- 18:22Knowing what we know now and watching
- 18:24this 7 years later, it was so obvious
- 18:26that he was lying because he's talking
- 18:28about his kids and he's saying, "I miss
- 18:31feeding them and telling them, oh, if
- 18:32you don't eat that, you're not going to
- 18:34get your dessert. Oh, I miss turning on
- 18:36the TV and having them watch Bubba
- 18:38Guppies or something." Because again, he
- 18:40spent 5 weeks without them. And they've
- 18:42been missing for one night and he's
- 18:45like, "Oh, I miss them. I miss doing all
- 18:47of these things that I used to do with
- 18:49my daughters." It's been 24 hours. But
- 18:51he's talking about them as as if they're
- 18:54not coming back. And that's what stood
- 18:56out seven years ago because seven years
- 18:59ago, we didn't know anything about
- 19:01Shannan. But even then, it was still a
- 19:04little weird to hear a dad say, "Oh, I
- 19:07miss telling them to eat their dinner
- 19:10and telling them, "Oh, if you don't eat
- 19:11that, you're not going to get your
- 19:12dessert." So, of all of the fond
- 19:15memories he has of his children, the one
- 19:18thing he misses is disciplining them. If
- 19:21you don't do what I say, you're not
- 19:23going to get the thing that you want.
- 19:25That is the fond memory that he could
- 19:27come up with during this interview,
- 19:29which was yet another one of those red
- 19:31flags. Because again, a parent who is
- 19:34worried sick about their children and
- 19:36their wife being missing isn't going to
- 19:38say the fond memory I have of my husband
- 19:41is when oh he would always yell at me. I
- 19:44miss him yelling at me to put the dishes
- 19:47in the dishwasher. I miss making all of
- 19:50those sandwiches for him. Oh, what I
- 19:53really miss the most is the sound of all
- 19:56of that snoring at night. It kept me up
- 20:00all night. Last night, I slept so
- 20:04soundly. I didn't wake up, not once.
- 20:06It's the best sleep I've gotten in
- 20:08years. And that's what I miss. I miss
- 20:12not being able to sleep. I miss his
- 20:15snoring so much. But ma'am, your
- 20:17husband's only been gone for 5 hours.
- 20:19>> I know, but I just miss him so much.
- 20:22Whose laundry am I going to do now?
- 20:25>> Let's continue.
- 20:28>> I just want I want everybody just come
- 20:29home. All right. Wherever they're at,
- 20:31come home. That's what I want.
- 20:35[Music]
- 20:38>> Wherever they're at, come home.
- 20:40That's what I want. Am I convincing?
- 20:43Yeah. Okay, good.
- 20:49[Music]
- 20:51>> Where was she gone for?
- 20:54She was she she was on um she came back
- 20:58Sunday. You said at 2 at night. Yeah,
- 20:59cuz her her flight got delayed from
- 21:01Arizona because of like other storms
- 21:03around the the nation. So, she's
- 21:06supposed to get home like 11:00. She got
- 21:07home at like 1:48. Got to bed about
- 21:102:00.
- 21:10>> Yeah. She was late, you know, because of
- 21:13the flight that was delayed because of
- 21:15all of these thunderstorms around the
- 21:18nation. America, founded in 1774.
- 21:25He throws a lot of additional words in
- 21:27there that don't need to be said. The
- 21:28flight got delayed because of the nation
- 21:30because of the dust particles and the
- 21:33wind all over the nation. And this is
- 21:35where we see Chris begin to really be
- 21:39nervous. The reporters here did another
- 21:41again excellent job at backing up,
- 21:45zooming out so that we can see Chris's
- 21:47full body. And now we can see that he's
- 21:50doing the self soothing, self hug again.
- 21:53We've seen this time and time again,
- 21:55especially during the police body cam
- 21:57footage where he's watching himself at
- 21:59Neighbor Nate's house and he's like,
- 22:00"Oh, now we're going to see Chris do the
- 22:05rock back and forth dance on his front
- 22:08porch.
- 22:09>> What was she going for?" Like family
- 22:10trip or
- 22:11>> It was a Thrive direct sales. Uh it was
- 22:14a local event that was down there
- 22:15between a bunch of leaders in in the
- 22:17company.
- 22:18>> And that night that day she was back. I
- 22:21mean,
- 22:22>> I left I left work for work early that
- 22:24morning, like 5:15, 5:30. So, like, she
- 22:27barely I mean, she barely got barely
- 22:29gotten into bed pretty much.
- 22:33>> He's trying to downplay the amount of
- 22:36time that he spent with Shannan. Oh, she
- 22:39got home at 2:00 a.m. in the morning,
- 22:41not in the afternoon, 2:00 a.m. in the
- 22:44morning. And I got up at 5:15. So, you
- 22:48know, I like barely even saw her, you
- 22:50know, like she had barely even gotten
- 22:52into bed. Yeah, that's 3 hours that you
- 22:54have 3 hours with her. He's downplaying
- 22:57it. He's saying, "Oh, you know, she got
- 22:59home late. Like, I was kind of sleeping.
- 23:01I got up to work, kissed her goodbye,
- 23:04you know, saw the kids on the monitor,
- 23:05say peace out, and then left." I didn't
- 23:07really spend that much time with her
- 23:09again because he's trying to convince
- 23:11us, the public, to feel sorry for him.
- 23:14Oh, I had nothing to do with this
- 23:16because I didn't get I didn't see her at
- 23:18all. I didn't even see her come in. She
- 23:19came home so late because of all of the
- 23:21dust winds all over the nation. Let's
- 23:24continue.
- 23:25>> Might be a tough question, but did
- 23:28you guys get into an argument before she
- 23:30after?
- 23:30>> It wasn't it wasn't like an argument. We
- 23:32had an emotional conversation, but I'll
- 23:34leave it at that. But it's
- 23:36I just want them back.
- 23:39I just I just want them to come back.
- 23:41And if if they're not safe right now,
- 23:44that's what's that's what's tearing me
- 23:46apart. Cuz if they are safe, they're
- 23:48coming back. But if they're not, this
- 23:50this this has got to stop. Like somebody
- 23:52has to come forward.
- 23:53>> You spoke to her family, like her
- 23:55parents?
- 23:55>> Yeah, they've been in constant contact
- 23:57like every hour. I mean, it's I mean,
- 24:00everybody back in North Carolina and the
- 24:02East Coast. I mean, from Maine to
- 24:05Florida.
- 24:06>> What is your parents?
- 24:08>> No, he didn't call everybody from Maine
- 24:10to Florida. No. All of this is an
- 24:12obvious lie that can be easily verified.
- 24:15And it was it was verified. He was
- 24:17downplaying the whole situation. He told
- 24:19Shannan's family to not even fly out.
- 24:21Oh, it's not that serious. Don't fly
- 24:23out. It's fine. And here he's saying,
- 24:24"Yes, I've called I called everybody,
- 24:27everyone all over the East Coast. You
- 24:30know, the East Coast from Maine at the
- 24:32very top all the way to Florida." That
- 24:35is what we consider here in the US of a
- 24:38the East Coast. contacted everybody
- 24:41there. No one knows where Shannan is. No
- 24:45one on the East Coast. Not a single soul
- 24:48in Maine. I even contacted all the
- 24:50lobsters. None of the lobsters have seen
- 24:52Shannan and the girls. I don't know
- 24:54where they could be. So ridiculous.
- 24:56Let's continue.
- 24:58>> Saying to you,
- 24:59>> they're just like like if they need to
- 25:01get on a flight, just let them know cuz
- 25:03I mean they don't they they feel
- 25:05helpless right now cuz they they're on
- 25:06the opposite side of the country. I
- 25:08mean, this Colorado is I mean, you can't
- 25:11just drive around and look. I mean, it's
- 25:13just like you wouldn't really know what
- 25:15you're looking for. That's what the cops
- 25:16pretty much told me that that first day
- 25:17I was like, I want to get out and drive
- 25:18around. They said, you wouldn't know
- 25:20what to look for.
- 25:21>> Um,
- 25:22>> you know, I just I just want to find my
- 25:24family.
- 25:26He's like a robot. Sparks flying.
- 25:30I just wanted to find my wanted to find
- 25:32my family. Family. Family. and he's
- 25:36lying through his teeth now. We all know
- 25:38that he did not rush to the house.
- 25:42Nicole Atkinson was there with the
- 25:44police and he took his sweet time
- 25:46getting there and now he's lying again
- 25:48and he's saying, "Oh, I wanted to find
- 25:50my family. It's the first thing I asked
- 25:51the police. Can I go look for them?" And
- 25:53the police said, "No, son. Don't go out
- 25:56and look for them because it's Colorado.
- 25:58You know, the squarer state. It's square
- 26:01looking. So, there are too many corners
- 26:04to look at. Don't. You wouldn't even
- 26:05know what to look for. Can you go down
- 26:07to the four corners? There's too many
- 26:10states down there. No, that's too many
- 26:12corners to be looking at. Chris, you're
- 26:14not going to find anything. Trust me,
- 26:16son. I wanted to find my family, but I
- 26:18was told not to, so I just didn't. Let's
- 26:21continue.
- 26:22>> Last couple questions. Uh, what is what
- 26:25is law enforcement? What would have the
- 26:27police or the sheriffs or your
- 26:30neighbors? Is anybody what is what
- 26:32what's police saying to you?
- 26:35Look at the worry on his face. This is
- 26:37Chris anticipating the question. He
- 26:40doesn't know what he's about to be
- 26:41asked. So, he's like,
- 26:44>> let's continue.
- 26:46>> Right now, this is what they're doing
- 26:48right now is with the K9 in the sense. I
- 26:51think this is the biggest thing. This is
- 26:53the biggest thing they've done so far
- 26:54because yesterday they did all the
- 26:55Federal Police Department did all the
- 26:56searching of the house and try to gather
- 26:58whatever information they could and with
- 27:01the detectives, officers, and sergeants.
- 27:03And today it's I mean obviously with all
- 27:06the activity that's around it's it's
- 27:09it's it's there's a lot going on around
- 27:11here. And I really hope that all this
- 27:14can lead to something positive.
- 27:19All the officers, all the corporals, all
- 27:21the sergeants, all the staff sergeants,
- 27:22all the gunnery sergeants, the captain,
- 27:24too, the chief, the police chief was
- 27:26here, the commander was also here. I
- 27:28think I saw the colonel. Is that the
- 27:30major over there? Hey, major. The canine
- 27:32units. All the all kinds of canines.
- 27:34There was also I think I saw a cat. Oh,
- 27:37yeah. There is a cat. There's the feline
- 27:38unit as well. They're also checking.
- 27:40Everyone Everyone's checking. Everyone.
- 27:42Chris is another rambler. We've been
- 27:44watching Nicole Kessinger and her cringe
- 27:47police interview and she loves to
- 27:49ramble. She's a rambler. She'll go on
- 27:52and on and on about details that have
- 27:54nothing to do with the case. And Chris
- 27:57is another one. He is another rambler.
- 27:59He goes on. He says a lot, but all of it
- 28:02is nothing. He said three things. The
- 28:05officers, the sergeants, and the
- 28:06detectives. He could have just said the
- 28:08cops. The cops encompasses all three. We
- 28:12see Chris just naming off all things.
- 28:14Yeah. There's Maine, there's Rhode
- 28:16Island, there's New York, there's New
- 28:19Jersey, there's northern South Carolina,
- 28:21and then there's Florida. That's the
- 28:23East Coast. Yeah, I think Connecticut is
- 28:26in there somewhere. I'm not really sure.
- 28:28We're supposed to believe that he woke
- 28:29up one morning, went to work, and his
- 28:32family's gone. He came back home, and
- 28:33he's like, "Oh my god, I don't know
- 28:34where they went. They vanished." But
- 28:36this is what we're hearing from him. The
- 28:39officers, the sergeants, the detectives,
- 28:41the corporals also were there. Let's
- 28:44continue.
- 28:45>> What did um
- 28:47your neighbors did they see anything
- 28:49that you see?
- 28:49>> No. Like we've we've uh the police
- 28:51department went door to door asking like
- 28:54cameras and everything just like
- 28:56nothing.
- 28:58>> And my last question,
- 29:02>> we're watching this 7 years later. We
- 29:05know that what he just said was a
- 29:07complete lie. Neighbor Nate had a video
- 29:10of Chris backing his truck up into his
- 29:13garage and loading it. And here the
- 29:15reporter asked him if the cops have gone
- 29:18around the neighborhood to see if
- 29:19there's any any camera footage. Maybe
- 29:21they saw Shannan leave with the girls.
- 29:23He says, "No, no, the cops went
- 29:26everywhere and there's just nothing."
- 29:27But we knew seven years ago that this
- 29:32was a lie just because of how he said
- 29:34it. Let's watch it again.
- 29:36>> Your neighbors, did they see anything
- 29:37that you never said?
- 29:38>> No. Like we've we've uh the police
- 29:40department went door to door asking like
- 29:43cameras and everything. Just like
- 29:45nothing.
- 29:46>> And my last
- 29:48>> is that believable? No, it's not
- 29:50believable. It wasn't believable then
- 29:53and it's definitely not believable now.
- 29:55Now that we know the truth, it just
- 29:57never was because this man is a terrible
- 30:00liar. The majority of us knew that he
- 30:03was lying in 2018 when he gave this
- 30:05interview because of how bad he is. Look
- 30:07at him. Look at him. Look at his face.
- 30:11Let's continue.
- 30:13>> Question. If you have any though. My
- 30:16last question is if your wife can see
- 30:18this, if she if she can watch these,
- 30:21what would what would you like to tell
- 30:22your wife and your kids? Shannan, Bella,
- 30:25Celeste, if you're out there, just just
- 30:28come back. Like, if somebody has her,
- 30:30just please bring her back. I need to
- 30:33see everybody. I need to see everybody
- 30:35again. This house is not complete with
- 30:37without anybody here. Please bring her
- 30:40back.
- 30:42>> It's this look, this is the look right
- 30:44here that tells me that he's guilty.
- 30:47This is the look that tells me that he
- 30:48knows that his family is not coming
- 30:50back. He's subconsciously saying, "No,
- 30:53no, don't come back." He's saying,
- 30:55"Please don't come back." At the same
- 30:57time, he knows that they're not coming
- 30:59back. He's like, "I know you guys are
- 31:01not coming back.
- 31:03Please don't come back. I don't want you
- 31:06to come back." And that was the biggest
- 31:08tell for me. If anything else wasn't
- 31:10convincing enough, like his psychotic
- 31:13laugh, this ending, it was so cringe to
- 31:16watch cuz you can tell he's
- 31:18uncomfortable. The guy is awkward. Let's
- 31:20watch this last part again because he's
- 31:22asked to do something that he knows is
- 31:25not going to happen.
- 31:26>> If she if she can watch this, what would
- 31:28what would you like to tell your wife
- 31:29and your kids?
- 31:30>> Shannan, Bella, Celeste, if you're out
- 31:34there, just just come back. Like, if
- 31:36somebody has her, just please bring her
- 31:38back. I need to see everybody. I need to
- 31:41see everybody again. This house is not
- 31:43complete with without anybody here.
- 31:46Please bring her back.
- 31:50That's it. I can take that mic off, you
- 31:52know.
- 31:53>> This interview was full of red flags.
- 31:56Yeah, we had like an emotional
- 31:57discussion that morning, but I'll just
- 31:58leave it at that. I want them back. I
- 32:01do. I want them back. And then his laugh
- 32:04and his mouth thing and his fast blinks
- 32:07and then his slow blinks. Everything was
- 32:10off with Chris. Okay, so this was
- 32:13interview with Denver 7 News. So, now
- 32:16we're going to watch the interview with
- 32:18Nine News, and we'll see what he has to
- 32:20say here because uh yeah, this is just
- 32:23another one of those really bad videos.
- 32:26Here we're going to see Chris be a
- 32:28little more confident. He gained a
- 32:30little bit of confidence after giving
- 32:32his first interview. So, here we're
- 32:34going to see Chris try to lead the
- 32:36interview. Of course, it all fails. He
- 32:38fails. Nonetheless, he will still
- 32:40attempt to fool everybody with his lies.
- 32:43Let's watch this video. most important
- 32:46thing like I'm not sure I'll just wait
- 32:48for you to ask a question but like it's
- 32:50I want I want them wherever they're at
- 32:53like I have no inclination to where
- 32:54they're at right now like I've exhausted
- 32:57like every friend that I know of and
- 32:59every friend that I have has called
- 33:01friends that Shannan has that maybe I
- 33:04didn't know about and it's just like
- 33:06there's it's like it vanished like she's
- 33:08not like when I got home yesterday it
- 33:10was like a ghost town like she wasn't
- 33:13here kids weren't here I have no idea
- 33:15idea like where they went and it doesn't
- 33:18it's just earthshattering. I don't feel
- 33:20like this is even real right now. It's
- 33:21like a nightmare that I just can't wake
- 33:23up from.
- 33:25>> He rambled for almost 40 seconds. He
- 33:28started the interview with, "Oh, I'm
- 33:30just going to wait for you guys to ask
- 33:31me questions, but uh I really want my
- 33:34family back. I got here yesterday and it
- 33:36was like a ghost town. There's nobody
- 33:38here. If they're not here, like where
- 33:40did they go?" And if they didn't go,
- 33:42like, where did they went? And if they
- 33:44didn't went like where are they? He
- 33:47wants the audience, the public to know
- 33:50that he has contacted everyone that he
- 33:54knows. He is trying to get us to believe
- 33:58Shannan was probably picked up by
- 34:00someone that he didn't know. So he's
- 34:03trying to paint this picture where
- 34:04Shannan left on her own by an unknown
- 34:08person, someone that Chris didn't know
- 34:10about. And that is why he wanted to lead
- 34:13this second interview. He knows that he
- 34:15fumbled the first one. And so that's
- 34:17what we see Chris do the first 40
- 34:19seconds of this interview is just
- 34:21ramble, ramble, ramble, ramble. And none
- 34:23of the ramble actually makes sense. Pay
- 34:26attention to the first thing that comes
- 34:27out of his mouth in this interview that
- 34:29he's leading.
- 34:30>> I'll just wait for you to ask question,
- 34:32but like it's I want I want them
- 34:35wherever they're at. Like I have no
- 34:37inclination to where they're at right
- 34:38now. I have no inclination of where
- 34:41they're at right now. That is how he
- 34:43wanted to open this interview. This
- 34:44really confident, cocky guy here. Yeah.
- 34:47Yeah. I got them all fooled. Yeah, I'll
- 34:49show them. I have no inclination of
- 34:52where they're at. One, it was a Freudian
- 34:55slip, but two, it also wasn't a Freudian
- 34:59slip because he says that he has no
- 35:02inclination of where they're at. Meaning
- 35:05that the Freudian slip is him saying
- 35:07that he is not inclined to find them. He
- 35:10has no inclination to find his family.
- 35:13Because if we look up the word
- 35:15inclination, the definition for
- 35:17inclination is a person's natural
- 35:19tendency or urge to act or feel in a
- 35:23particular way. There was no urgency for
- 35:26him to find his family. So he was
- 35:30correct that he had no inclination to
- 35:33find his family. So that was a Freudian
- 35:35slip on his part. However, Chris is a
- 35:38dum dum. I think he meant to say I have
- 35:41no inkling because when we look up the
- 35:43word inkling, the word inkling means a
- 35:47slight knowledge or suspicion. A hint. I
- 35:50have no clue. So it's both a Freudian
- 35:53lip and an idiot just saying stupid
- 35:56things. He meant to say, "I have no
- 35:58inkling of where they're at." But be but
- 36:00he's such he's such a [ __ ] that he
- 36:02ended up using the word inclination. And
- 36:05it ended up being a bad choice of word
- 36:09because it ended up showing us the truth
- 36:12about Chris that he had no inclination
- 36:15to find his family. He just butchered it
- 36:19at every step of the way. Again, he
- 36:21thought he was coming in confident like,
- 36:22"Yeah, I'm going to lead this line of
- 36:25questioning. I'm gonna come out on top.
- 36:28Yeah. I have no inclination. No
- 36:30inclination whatsoever. I have no clue
- 36:33like where they went.
- 36:36Let's continue.
- 36:38>> I've exhausted like every friend that I
- 36:41know of and every friend that I have has
- 36:43called friends that Shannan has that
- 36:46maybe I didn't know about. And it's just
- 36:47like
- 36:49there's it's like it vanished. Like
- 36:50she's not like when I got home
- 36:52yesterday, it was like a ghost town.
- 36:54Like she wasn't here. Kids weren't here.
- 36:57I have no idea like where they went. And
- 37:00it doesn't if just
- 37:01>> kids weren't here. She wasn't here. I
- 37:05have no idea like where they went. Why
- 37:08is he talking like that? Barely opens
- 37:10his mouth. He's like talking with his
- 37:12teeth. He's like, you know, I don't
- 37:13know. Is that him trying to sound more
- 37:17assertive or authoritative? Because he
- 37:20just looks weird. He just looks weird.
- 37:23But anyway, let's continue.
- 37:24>> Earth shattering. I don't feel like this
- 37:26is even real right now. It's like a
- 37:28nightmare that I just can't wake up
- 37:29from.
- 37:31>> See, these are all real things. I do
- 37:33believe that it's like a nightmare he
- 37:34can't wake up from. The nightmare is him
- 37:36being here with the police and with the
- 37:39news crew. That is the nightmare that
- 37:41he's living. It's not that his family is
- 37:44missing. That's not the nightmare. The
- 37:46nightmare that he's referring to is the
- 37:48nightmare that is happening to him
- 37:50because he did it to himself. And we
- 37:52know that now. Again, we know that now 7
- 37:54years later. But we also suspected that
- 37:587 years ago because again, look at what
- 38:00he's saying. Listen to what he's saying
- 38:04and look at how he's saying it. Nothing
- 38:06matches. It's this is not normal
- 38:10behavior. It's not anything that any any
- 38:13worried husband and worried father would
- 38:15act like when their family is missing.
- 38:19I've already called everyone. I know.
- 38:23I've already exhausted everybody. All of
- 38:26her friends.
- 38:30Let's continue.
- 38:32>> Chris, when did you learn that they got
- 38:35there and they weren't here?
- 38:36>> Like yes. Well, I texted her a few times
- 38:39and called her. I didn't get a response,
- 38:41which that was a little off. And then
- 38:44her friend Nicole showed up about a
- 38:46little afternoon. I see you on the
- 38:47>> Okay, so in the second interview, he's
- 38:49now saying that when he texted Shannan
- 38:51and she didn't respond, oh, it was a
- 38:53little off. Even though we just heard
- 38:55minutes ago him say that when he texted
- 38:59and called Shannan three times and she
- 39:01didn't respond, it was like whatever. If
- 39:03she doesn't get back to me, it's like
- 39:05whatever. You know, she gets busy. But
- 39:07if she doesn't get back to her people,
- 39:08now that's concerning.
- 39:10>> Like I had texted Shan a few times that
- 39:12day, called her, say, you know, but she
- 39:14never got back to me. But she wasn't
- 39:16getting back to any of her people as
- 39:17well. And that's what really concerned a
- 39:19lot of people is like she's not getting
- 39:21back to her. Like if she doesn't get
- 39:22back to me, that's fine. Like she gets
- 39:23busy during the day, but she can get
- 39:24back to her people, which was very
- 39:26concerning.
- 39:26>> Now we're seeing him change his story.
- 39:29He wants the public and the audience of
- 39:319 News to think that he was worried. Oh,
- 39:35she didn't reply to my text messages.
- 39:37Now that was that was a little off. But
- 39:39everyone who's watching Denver 7 thinks,
- 39:41"Oh, it wasn't that big of a deal. She
- 39:43was she didn't text them back. Oh,
- 39:45whatever. She didn't get back to her
- 39:47people. Now, that is concerning. So, two
- 39:50different stories going on here, right?
- 39:52Two different stories. Now, Chris
- 39:53saying, "I wasn't concerned with Denver
- 39:567." And now he's saying, "Oh, it was a
- 39:58little off. I was a little concerned
- 39:59when she didn't text me back with 9
- 40:02News." So, inconsistencies.
- 40:04We are already seeing some
- 40:06inconsistencies here. Let's continue.
- 40:09>> The doorbell camera and I was like,
- 40:11"Hey, what's going on?" I said, "I can't
- 40:12get a hold of Shenan." And that's when I
- 40:14was just like, "All right, something's
- 40:15not right. If she's not answering the
- 40:17door and she said the car was here, it
- 40:18was like, I got to go home." And got
- 40:21here, got inside, and no, nobody was
- 40:24here. Not nothing.
- 40:27>> And so I read that Shannan had
- 40:29>> again, same kind of smirk. He's trying
- 40:31to hold back some laughter and he's
- 40:33making it sound like he was so worried.
- 40:35Oh, he saw Nicole Atkinson at his front
- 40:38porch and he was like, "Oh, now I need
- 40:39to go home." But as we know, it took
- 40:42Nicole threatening Chris with calling
- 40:44the police and then calling the police
- 40:46and then the police showing up for Chris
- 40:49to finally decide to go home.
- 40:52There was no sense of urgency from
- 40:55Chris. No inclination to find his
- 40:58family. Let's continue.
- 41:00>> Goes to school, which was unusual. Yeah,
- 41:02cuz like Bella was going to start
- 41:04kindergarten
- 41:06next next Monday and they they were just
- 41:08getting ready to start.
- 41:10>> Bella was going to start kindergarten
- 41:12next Monday. And yeah, they were about
- 41:15to start. He's referring to his children
- 41:17in the past tense, which is a huge
- 41:21giveaway. If for some reason we were
- 41:24still wondering or giving him the
- 41:25benefit of the doubt by this point we
- 41:29should be wondering what he did to his
- 41:31children. Lots of red flags. His
- 41:33behavior, his demeanor, what he's
- 41:35saying, what he isn't saying, how he's
- 41:37saying it. All of these things combined.
- 41:41You put them into an interview and you
- 41:42give us a man saying that he wants to
- 41:45have his family back. Yet this man is
- 41:48referring to his children in the past
- 41:50tense. Let's continue.
- 41:52>> Start back again.
- 41:54>> And so what kind of So your friend
- 41:57Nicole kind of tipped you off that
- 41:59something.
- 41:59>> Yeah, cuz like she was here at the front
- 42:01door and
- 42:02>> his gulps are so loud that you can hear
- 42:05them here. Let's Let's hear that again.
- 42:08>> So your friend Nicole kind of tipped you
- 42:10off something.
- 42:11>> Yeah, cuz like she was
- 42:12>> Your friend Nicole, she like tipped you
- 42:14off into something, right?
- 42:18Yeah.
- 42:20here at the front door. And that's when
- 42:23I kind of knew, okay, like if she's not
- 42:25answering anybody else either, this is
- 42:26this isn't like her. Cuz I mean, she she
- 42:29works at direct sales business and
- 42:31that's her that that's what she does.
- 42:34And for her not to respond to any of her
- 42:36people that I mean, if she doesn't
- 42:38respond to me, that's fine. I mean,
- 42:39like, she's busy. She's got stuff going
- 42:41on. But not to respond to her people
- 42:43though, that was that was not like her.
- 42:47Chris, you've got a beautiful family,
- 42:49you know, and it looks like you all love
- 42:50each other very much. What went through
- 42:52your mind the minute kind of you're like
- 42:54something's wrong.
- 42:56>> Like I I was trying to get home as fast
- 42:58as I can.
- 42:58>> Okay, let's watch that part again. The
- 43:00reporter is saying, "Chris, you have
- 43:02such a lovely family and it looks like
- 43:04you all love each other so so much. What
- 43:07was going through your mind when you
- 43:10found out that your family was missing?"
- 43:13And here we're going to see Chris make
- 43:16up a bunch of lies. Just ramble, ramble,
- 43:18ramble, ramble. Let me tell these lies,
- 43:21the ones that I prepared for to just
- 43:23keep making it seem like I care. To keep
- 43:26going on with this this lie of a
- 43:29personality, right? This lie, this
- 43:31persona that he built up for himself.
- 43:35>> Chris, you've got a beautiful family,
- 43:37you know, and it looks like you all love
- 43:39each other very much. What went through
- 43:40your mind the minute kind of you're like
- 43:43something's wrong? It's
- 43:44>> like I I was trying to get home as fast
- 43:46as I can. I was blowing through stop
- 43:47lightss. I was blowing through
- 43:48everything. Just trying to get home as
- 43:49fast as I can cuz none of this made
- 43:50sense. Like if she wasn't here, like
- 43:53where did she go?
- 43:58>> If she wasn't here, like where did she
- 44:00go?
- 44:00>> Chris is a mess. He's a mess. The
- 44:04reporter asked him something so so
- 44:06basic. what were you feeling when you
- 44:08when you found out that something was
- 44:10wrong? And he goes,
- 44:13I was blowing through stop lights. I was
- 44:15trying to get here as fast as possible
- 44:17because if she isn't here, like where
- 44:19did she go? And we're supposed to
- 44:22believe that he is worried about his
- 44:25family. We know that Chris never blew
- 44:27through any stop lightss to get home. He
- 44:29took his sweet time like molasses. Even
- 44:34when he did get to his house finally,
- 44:36he's looking for stuff in his truck.
- 44:39Like, huh? Where did that piece of gum
- 44:41go? Hold on. Yeah, hold on, officer.
- 44:44Hold on, detective. Hold on, Sergeant.
- 44:47Hey, K9 unit. Hang on real quick. Oh,
- 44:50hey, Nicole. Please hold on. I'm looking
- 44:52for my gum. It's in my truck somewhere.
- 44:55Where is it? I know my family's missing.
- 44:57You all can wait. This is more
- 44:59important. I have to find my stick of
- 45:01gum.
- 45:09I have no idea where my stick of gum
- 45:11went. If it's not in my glove
- 45:13compartment, like where did it go? And
- 45:15so, yeah, we know that Chris never
- 45:17rushed home. So, that's that's just
- 45:20another one of his lies that was
- 45:21verified later. But even then, even 7
- 45:24years ago, watching this interview, we
- 45:27can tell this guy is lying. Look at the
- 45:29way he's saying it with a huge smirk on
- 45:31his face. If she's not here then like
- 45:34where does she go? If she's alive then
- 45:37like she'll be back. Yeah. No [ __ ]
- 45:39Officer obvious. Let's continue.
- 45:43>> Like once I got here it was like all
- 45:45right, who can I call? Who do I know
- 45:48that she could be with right now? If she
- 45:50went to a friend's house, where could
- 45:52she be staying? And we went through
- 45:54everybody. I mean, just everything in my
- 45:57in my contact list. and her her friend's
- 45:59contact list and nothing has come up.
- 46:02Everybody has said like they haven't
- 46:04heard from her either. I'm just hoping
- 46:06right now that she's somewhere safe
- 46:10and maybe she's just she's there. But
- 46:13right now it's just like if she's v
- 46:16>> I just hope that she's somewhere safe
- 46:18and
- 46:21she's there, you know. But it's almost
- 46:24like he wants to throw up because his
- 46:27nerves are just getting to him. He's
- 46:28like, "Oh god, stop asking me these
- 46:32questions."
- 46:35>> Somewhere safe.
- 46:37And maybe she's just she's there. But
- 46:40right now, it's just like if she's
- 46:43vanished, like I want her back so bad. I
- 46:45want those kids back so bad.
- 46:48>> Oh,
- 46:49>> if she vanished, I want her back so bad.
- 46:54>> If she's vanished, like, I want her back
- 46:56so bad. I want those kids back so bad.
- 46:58>> Okay. So, if they're safe and if they're
- 47:01there, where there is, who knows? But if
- 47:04they're safe and then they're there then
- 47:08but if they've vanished then he wants
- 47:10them back. What? When we break down the
- 47:15English language and we break down his
- 47:18sentences, those sentences don't make
- 47:21sense. What is he saying? What is he
- 47:23trying to say? So he he's okay with his
- 47:26family leaving as long as they're
- 47:28huddled up somewhere and they're fine.
- 47:30But if they've vanished, poof, vanished
- 47:33into thin air, then he wants them back.
- 47:37Says these things with a huge smile on
- 47:40his face. Look, look at the smile.
- 47:41Colgate.
- 47:43A huge smile on his face, chapped lips
- 47:46and all
- 47:48as he's trying to convince the public
- 47:50that if his family is okay and they just
- 47:53left and whatever, he doesn't care. But
- 47:55if they've completely vanished and
- 47:57there's no trace of them anywhere, then
- 47:59he wants them back, which would lead
- 48:02anybody to believe that he did something
- 48:04to his family because he's okay if they
- 48:07leave him. He doesn't even care about
- 48:08them. He only wants them back when he
- 48:11knows that they can't come back. It's
- 48:12when they've vanished. Does he want them
- 48:14back so that he can get out of this
- 48:16mess? I still don't think so because I
- 48:18think he'd rather be doing this and
- 48:20entertaining the news crew and
- 48:22entertaining the police as long as he
- 48:25believes that he can still go be with
- 48:26Nicole. But let me know what you all
- 48:28think in the comments. Let's continue.
- 48:32>> Um, you know, I I wanted to ask you a
- 48:35little bit about the hard part. Your
- 48:37first thought is where are they? I want
- 48:39them back. Your second thought is, you
- 48:41know, your friends are telling us
- 48:42something.
- 48:43>> The reporter is tired of hearing, oh,
- 48:46where are they? I want the Mac. He wants
- 48:48something more substantial.
- 48:49>> Kind of hurt you a little. You're also
- 48:53your second thought is that you're
- 48:55afraid people think you may have done
- 48:56something.
- 48:57>> Yeah. I mean, no, everybody's going to
- 48:59have their own opinion on on anything
- 49:01like this. I just want them people to
- 49:02know that I want my family back. Like, I
- 49:04want them safe and I want them here.
- 49:07Like, this house is not the same.
- 49:09>> I just want them people to know that if
- 49:12you think I killed my family, I didn't.
- 49:14I just want them people to know I want
- 49:16them back because I'm sad and because
- 49:18this house is so empty without anybody
- 49:21here. Most people who are accused of
- 49:23committing crimes that they didn't
- 49:25commit are going to be incredibly
- 49:27defensive, incredibly angry. Like, how
- 49:30dare you even suspect me? How can you
- 49:33even say something like that to me right
- 49:34now? Are you serious? However, Chris is
- 49:37like, "Oh, I know. I know it looks
- 49:40terrible. I know. I know it looks like I
- 49:43probably killed them, but I just want
- 49:45them people to know that I didn't do
- 49:47anything to them. I'm sad. Can you not
- 49:51tell?
- 49:52I'm sad. No effort what whatsoever to
- 49:56try and convince the public that he is
- 49:58innocent. He doesn't care. He just wants
- 50:00to go be with Nicole. This is an
- 50:03inconvenience for him. That is what I'm
- 50:05sensing is, oh, you guys are
- 50:07inconveniencing me right now. Stop
- 50:09asking me all these stupid questions.
- 50:11Like, can we just wrap it up? I have
- 50:13places to be. I have people to see.
- 50:17Let's continue.
- 50:19I mean, I Last night was traumatic. Last
- 50:21night was
- 50:23I I can't really stay in this house
- 50:25again, like with nobody here. And last
- 50:29night, I wanted I I wanted that knock on
- 50:31the door. I wanted to see I wanted to
- 50:32see this kid just running just just
- 50:35barrel rush me and just give me a hug
- 50:36and knock me on the ground. But that
- 50:38didn't happen. Where are you going to
- 50:40stay with tonight?
- 50:41>> He repeated the same thing he said in
- 50:43his first interview. He wants the kids
- 50:45to barrel rush him, but it didn't
- 50:47happen. I wanted that knock on the door,
- 50:49but it didn't happen. It was a ghost
- 50:51town. It was weird sleeping here by
- 50:54myself. I want my family back. Same
- 50:56phrases, the same words. All of it was
- 50:58rehearsed and premeditated, which is why
- 51:01he has the same sentences. Every
- 51:04interview is the same with Chris. He
- 51:06tries to convince every person and every
- 51:08interviewer and every interrogator that
- 51:11he loves his kids because they are the
- 51:13light of his life. He wanted them to
- 51:15barrel rush him. They are his lifeline.
- 51:18Let's continue.
- 51:21probably my friends Nick and Amanda just
- 51:23I mean and if something develops in the
- 51:26next next hours or so like I'm hoping
- 51:29that somebody sees something or somebody
- 51:33knows something and comes forward.
- 51:36>> What's the hardest part of all of this
- 51:37for you?
- 51:38>> Not knowing like if they're safe or if
- 51:41they're in trouble. Like there's just
- 51:43that it's that variable like I'm not
- 51:45sure. I mean I can't do anything right
- 51:47now from where I'm at. like I'm not sure
- 51:49if they're safe somewhere just huddled
- 51:50up somewhere or if they're in trouble
- 51:54and knowing that if they could be in
- 51:56trouble it it just it's earthshattering
- 51:59right now and it doesn't feel like it's
- 52:01real.
- 52:02>> It's just earthshattering right now. It
- 52:04doesn't feel like it's real. You know,
- 52:06they could be huddled up somewhere and
- 52:08safe, but it's just the not knowing.
- 52:12It's earthshattering.
- 52:13He dumped Shannan in a shallow grave in
- 52:17the earth and then uses the words
- 52:20earthshattering. He wants his daughters
- 52:22to barrel rush him. And as he says that
- 52:26his daughters lie in barrels of crude
- 52:29oil. So even the words that he chose are
- 52:33so telling. He was giving us hints from
- 52:36the very beginning. His two daughters
- 52:38were in barrels. He kept saying, "I want
- 52:40them to barrel rush me." and his wife
- 52:42and unborn son were in the earth. And he
- 52:46keeps saying that it's earthshattering
- 52:48and it's a nightmare he can't wake up
- 52:49from. Let's continue.
- 52:51>> The weird part of all this, it sounds
- 52:53like everything's kind of locked up.
- 52:54There's no signs of them leaving the
- 52:56house.
- 52:57>> No, like we have camera there. Neighbor
- 52:59has a camera. We I mean everything was
- 53:02everything's checked out.
- 53:05>> You have a camera right there?
- 53:06>> A doorbell only right there. The
- 53:08neighbor has one over there.
- 53:10You see how he points to neighbor Nate's
- 53:12camera with so much contempt? It's like
- 53:15he hates his neighbor for having that
- 53:17camera. Oh yeah. Yeah. We have cameras
- 53:20reporter guy. Yeah. There's like one
- 53:22right here in my house and then that
- 53:24that guy that has one too. What about
- 53:27these cameras guy? Look at his face. The
- 53:30first type of emotion that we see with
- 53:32Chris other than laughter and joy is
- 53:34anger and contempt. Anytime he's asked
- 53:37the question about the cameras, you can
- 53:39tell that he gets upset. His face gets
- 53:43all like his eyes. He starts rolling his
- 53:46eyes and he's like, "Yeah, these cameras
- 53:49back here and then thating guy and his
- 53:53piece of cameras
- 53:55piece of Yeah, that guy. Yeah. What
- 53:58about these cameras, man?
- 54:00>> Doors around the house locked.
- 54:02>> Front door was locked. The garage door
- 54:05was unlocked, but that that's normal for
- 54:08like when she comes in the house, she
- 54:10leaves it unlocked just so she can come
- 54:11in and out just in case, you know, to
- 54:13get in the the garage door, but the back
- 54:15sliding door was locked as well.
- 54:18>> So, how would she have left the house if
- 54:20she did leave?
- 54:20>> He made a point to say that the garage
- 54:22door was left unlocked. I think it was
- 54:24part of the whole plan. The whole part
- 54:26of the plan was to make it seem like
- 54:28Shannan was either taken from the back
- 54:31or she left from the back or she left
- 54:34through the garage or some weird thing
- 54:36happened because he keeps mentioning the
- 54:39garage door being open. And notice that
- 54:41he didn't even finish the sentence. He
- 54:43just kind of says the garage door was
- 54:45open. But you know that's just always
- 54:46open because you know Shannan Shannan
- 54:48sometimes she likes to go in and out of
- 54:49the garage door just in case you because
- 54:52I'm but yeah but also the back was
- 54:55locked.
- 54:56Everybody look into the unlocked garage.
- 54:59There has to be something up with that
- 55:00garage. That's a clue. You guys go look
- 55:03at that. Right. Trying to send people on
- 55:05a wild goose chase. The garage door was
- 55:08unlocked, but that that's normal for
- 55:11like when she comes in the house, she
- 55:13leaves it unlocked just so she can come
- 55:14in and out just in case, you know, to
- 55:16get in the the garage door, but the back
- 55:18sliding door was locked as well.
- 55:21>> So, how would she have left the house if
- 55:22she did leave the house or anybody?
- 55:24>> I I've don't want to put anything out
- 55:26there like just suspecting like if
- 55:28something like somebody pulled in the
- 55:29back and because we have drive away back
- 55:32there from the new town homes, but it's
- 55:34it's so hard to tell. like there's no
- 55:36cameras in the backyard or anything like
- 55:38that. So, it's it's really hard to even
- 55:41suspect anything right now as far as how
- 55:42she could have left or if someone came
- 55:44picked her up or someone took her.
- 55:47>> So, again, he's nonchalant. He's
- 55:49downplaying everything. He's like,
- 55:50"Yeah, you know, I don't want to throw
- 55:52anything out there you guys yet, but I
- 55:55don't know. Someone probably picked her
- 55:57up from the back." Right now, I suspect
- 55:59that she was taken from the back. trying
- 56:02to get the public and the police and the
- 56:04news crew to believe that Shannan just
- 56:06took off on her own. Let's continue.
- 56:09>> Today's reality, you've got cops there,
- 56:11cops tier, cops in your house, K9 units.
- 56:14>> It's I've I've never seen something like
- 56:17this in my lifetime, unless it was on TV
- 56:19or a movie. And this this doesn't seem
- 56:22real at all. It just seems like I'm I'm
- 56:24living in a nightmare and I can't get
- 56:26out of it. I just want them home so bad.
- 56:30I've never seen anything like this
- 56:32before, you know. Maybe I mean only on
- 56:35movies and TV.
- 56:39But um
- 56:42yeah, you know, I just I just want
- 56:47I just want them back. I just want them
- 56:50back so bad.
- 56:58Um, did you see your kids and your wife
- 57:00whenever or you had the kids? I forgot
- 57:02when
- 57:02>> Yeah, I had the kids over the weekend.
- 57:04>> Did you see your wife when she got home?
- 57:06>> She got home really late about 2 a.m.
- 57:08from the airport when she got back from
- 57:09Arizona.
- 57:11>> Did you wake up and say, you know,
- 57:12>> no, I saw her when she got in, but it
- 57:15was really quick. Just
- 57:16>> Why is he talking like that? What's
- 57:18What's going on with his mouth?
- 57:21I sense contempt. He seems annoyed. He's
- 57:24like,
- 57:25>> I had the kids over the weekend.
- 57:27>> Did you see your wife when she got home?
- 57:29>> She got home really late, about 2 am
- 57:31from the airport when she got back from
- 57:32Arizona.
- 57:34>> Did you wake up and say, you know,
- 57:35>> no, I saw her when she got in, but it
- 57:38was really quick just because it was 2
- 57:40a.m. in the morning, but I saw the kids
- 57:41in the monitor before I left and
- 57:44that was it.
- 57:46>> What What kind of efforts are happening
- 57:47right now, Chris, to find
- 57:49>> I saw the kids on the monitor this
- 57:50morning and you know that was it. You
- 57:53are wasting his time right now. He has
- 57:56better things to do. Look at the way he
- 57:58answers. He answers with such disdain.
- 58:01It's like he hates this family that he's
- 58:04pleading for. It was so obvious from the
- 58:07beginning that Chris did not want his
- 58:09family back. Let's continue.
- 58:12>> Find them.
- 58:12>> Right now in Frederick Police
- 58:14Department, they've been they've been on
- 58:16point. They've with the officers,
- 58:18detectives, sergeants, K9 units here.
- 58:20They're getting sense. So hopefully they
- 58:23can pick up something and kind of go in
- 58:25a direction that will actually lead us
- 58:28to where maybe they're at right now.
- 58:33>> Um here we go with the officers, the
- 58:36detectives, and the sergeants and the K9
- 58:39units. Something positive. It sounds
- 58:40like he just wants it to lead to
- 58:42something positive for him. The outcome
- 58:44that he wants is to be positive for him.
- 58:47Which is why he doesn't outwardly say,
- 58:50"I hope that the K9 units find my
- 58:53family." Because we know that he doesn't
- 58:56want the K9 units to find his family.
- 58:58When we find his family, we'll know that
- 59:01because of how they were found, they
- 59:03were victims of homicide. And so,
- 59:06obviously, he doesn't want his family to
- 59:08be found. So, he will not even say it.
- 59:11So, I hope the K9 units end up doing
- 59:14something with that situation. And I
- 59:17hope that this situation ends up in
- 59:20circumstances that are of a positive
- 59:23nature for some human beings who are
- 59:26involved in this said circumstance of
- 59:30the present time. He sounds like a
- 59:32politician. I hope that that family,
- 59:35wherever they may be, I hope that they
- 59:37may return. Let's continue.
- 59:40Shannan went to
- 59:45>> Where'd you get that shirt?
- 59:46>> Oh, this is uh I think she got it off
- 59:49Amazon, but this is my favorite college
- 59:51sports team.
- 59:52>> She was Wasn't she just there?
- 59:54>> She was Yeah, just in North Carolina.
- 59:56Yep. So, she probably she actually
- 59:57probably got it from there. Usually she
- 59:58gets stuff from Amazon, but this one I
- 1:00:01like these shirts a lot.
- 1:00:04>> You guys you you love your shirt.
- 1:00:06Describe your little girls to us. And
- 1:00:08you know
- 1:00:08>> this Celeste, she's just a ball of
- 1:00:11energy. She's call her rampage cuz she's
- 1:00:14like she's just always she's got two
- 1:00:16speeds. Go or she's sleeping. And she's
- 1:00:18always a troublemaker. She's always the
- 1:00:20one like jumping off things, you know,
- 1:00:22just yelling at you and all kinds of
- 1:00:24things. And Bella, she's the more calm,
- 1:00:26cautious mothering type. And she's she's
- 1:00:30more like me. She's more calm. She's But
- 1:00:34uh Celeste has definitely got her mom's
- 1:00:36personality to where she's always just
- 1:00:38gung-ho, ready to go.
- 1:00:40>> Chris shows more emotion describing his
- 1:00:44t-shirt. His favorite t-shirt, the
- 1:00:46Carolina Tar Heels. I love this shirt.
- 1:00:49Shannan gets things from Amazon, but she
- 1:00:51was in North Carolina, so who knows,
- 1:00:53maybe she got it from there. I love
- 1:00:55these shirts a lot, though. And then the
- 1:00:57reporter asked him, "Okay, so tell me
- 1:00:59about your daughters." Oh, yeah. Uh
- 1:01:02yeah, my kids. My kids. You know, my
- 1:01:05kids.
- 1:01:06>> We've seen Nicole Cassinger. We've seen
- 1:01:08the same type of acting with Nicole
- 1:01:11Cassinger, she'll be doing one thing
- 1:01:13like, "Yeah, you know, oh my god, yes."
- 1:01:16And then when the interrogator asks her,
- 1:01:19"Oh, so who's Charlotte?" And she's
- 1:01:21like, "Who?
- 1:01:24You're asking me that question? How dare
- 1:01:27you? What? She's just my friend." Who's
- 1:01:30Charlotte?
- 1:01:33>> Are you asking me who's Charlotte? Like
- 1:01:34one of my friends?
- 1:01:36>> Uh, she's like a really good friend of
- 1:01:38mine. Why?
- 1:01:39>> Did you have some conversations with her
- 1:01:41regarding another boyfriend?
- 1:01:45>> You might have met Anie Harmony or did
- 1:01:47she meet somebody on Harmony?
- 1:01:49>> No, she's engaged.
- 1:01:51>> Same with Chris. We see him standing
- 1:01:53here and he's looking at both reporters.
- 1:01:55Who's going to ask me a question?
- 1:01:58And then the question is about the
- 1:02:00t-shirt. And he goes, "Oh, yeah. I love
- 1:02:03this t-shirt. I love it."
- 1:02:05>> Yeah. It's my favorite college sports
- 1:02:08team. Okay, Carissa, tell us about your
- 1:02:10daughters. Oh, yeah. You know, my kids.
- 1:02:15Yeah. Uh, the little one. Call her
- 1:02:18Rampage. She's just like her mom. Just
- 1:02:21like her mom. Um, Bella. She's just like
- 1:02:25me. She's more of the mothering type.
- 1:02:28More calm like me, says the man who
- 1:02:32murdered his daughter, the one who was a
- 1:02:35lot like him. And then he also killed
- 1:02:38his other daughter, the one that was a
- 1:02:39lot like Shannan. I believe that he
- 1:02:42drugged Shannan. I think Shannan was out
- 1:02:45cold when he killed her because he's a
- 1:02:48coward. He could not even bring himself
- 1:02:50to let Shannan know that he was cheating
- 1:02:52on her. Even knowing that he was going
- 1:02:54to snuff the life out of her, he still
- 1:02:56did not have the courage to tell Shannan
- 1:02:59that he was cheating on her. So, I
- 1:03:01believe he drugged her and she was out
- 1:03:03completely cold. She was completely
- 1:03:06asleep and had no idea what was coming.
- 1:03:08And that is the only way that he was
- 1:03:10able to do that. He tried the same thing
- 1:03:12with his daughters. He tried killing
- 1:03:14them in their sleep. He says so himself
- 1:03:17in the letters that he wrote to Cheryl
- 1:03:19and Kadel that he he smothered his
- 1:03:22daughters and then he was surprised when
- 1:03:24they both woke up asking what is wrong
- 1:03:26with mommy because he thought that he
- 1:03:28had killed them again because he's such
- 1:03:30a coward. He's such a pathetic pos that
- 1:03:35the only way that he can kill his family
- 1:03:37is by doing it in their sleep. And so
- 1:03:40the fact that he had to then do it a
- 1:03:42second time while they were alive, awake
- 1:03:46and alive, fully awake, fully aware of
- 1:03:49what was going on in their surroundings.
- 1:03:51Yeah. He was pissed off. He he wrote in
- 1:03:54that letter to Cheryl and Kel that he
- 1:03:55was upset. He was angry that they were
- 1:03:58alive cuz now he had to kill them again
- 1:04:00and now they were fully awake. And yeah,
- 1:04:03I do believe that the thing that haunts
- 1:04:06him is the fact that he was able to take
- 1:04:08out his family, Shannan, the unborn baby
- 1:04:12that he never met and he didn't have to
- 1:04:13see, so it was easy for him to do. And
- 1:04:15then Celeste was too much like Shannan.
- 1:04:18And the way that he describes Celeste is
- 1:04:20just different. I'm I'm sure he probably
- 1:04:22still felt something because he murdered
- 1:04:26a three-year-old who was his flesh and
- 1:04:28blood. I still think that it was a lot
- 1:04:31harder for him to do the same to Bella
- 1:04:33because Bella was his firstborn. Bella
- 1:04:36was like him. Bella put up a fight and
- 1:04:38it was the fight that he was trying to
- 1:04:40avoid this whole time. He just wanted
- 1:04:42his family gone like just disappear. If
- 1:04:45he could just snap the finger and they
- 1:04:46could just poof disappear. That is what
- 1:04:48he wanted. But he couldn't do that
- 1:04:50obviously. So the easiest way out for
- 1:04:53him was just to annihilate the family.
- 1:04:55And what would have been easier for him
- 1:04:57mentally, psychologically, and maybe,
- 1:05:00again, who knows, right? Too much
- 1:05:02credit, but who knows? Maybe even
- 1:05:04emotionally, the easiest way for him to
- 1:05:07get rid of his family was to do it while
- 1:05:08they were sleeping. There was no fight.
- 1:05:11There was no struggle. But the fact that
- 1:05:12he had to then do it to his two
- 1:05:14daughters who were very awake and
- 1:05:17Celeste did not put up a fight. Not like
- 1:05:19Bella. Bella put up a fight and Bella
- 1:05:22said words. Her last words according to
- 1:05:25Chris were, "Daddy, no." But anyway, let
- 1:05:27me know again if I gave Chris too much
- 1:05:29credit here.
- 1:05:30>> The ring type and she's she's more like
- 1:05:33me. She's more calm. She's But uh
- 1:05:36Celeste has definitely got her mom's
- 1:05:39personality to where she's always just
- 1:05:40gung-ho, ready to go.
- 1:05:42>> Have a baby on
- 1:05:45you about that third child.
- 1:05:47>> Mhm.
- 1:05:47>> Is that kind of going through your mind
- 1:05:48right now, too?
- 1:05:49>> That's like That's why I want everybody
- 1:05:51back.
- 1:05:53That's fine. Everybody I need everybody
- 1:05:54back here. I need everybody safe.
- 1:05:59I
- 1:05:59>> think I'm good.
- 1:06:02>> Notice how he didn't even answer the
- 1:06:04last question. The last question the
- 1:06:05reporter asked him was, "Oh, you have a
- 1:06:07baby on the way too, right? Like let us
- 1:06:09like tell us like what do you feel about
- 1:06:11that?" And he's like, "Yeah, that's why
- 1:06:13I want everybody back. That's why that's
- 1:06:15why I need everybody back. I need
- 1:06:17everybody back here now. That's why."
- 1:06:20not a mention of the baby. One of the
- 1:06:23biggest reasons that he murdered Shannan
- 1:06:25was to get rid of the baby because
- 1:06:27having a baby meant that it would
- 1:06:30complicate things. In his mind and in
- 1:06:32Nicole Kessinger's mind, it would
- 1:06:34probably be easier to separate from your
- 1:06:36wife with the two grown kids. However,
- 1:06:40if you have a baby on the way, it just
- 1:06:43complicates things. Nicole Kessinger did
- 1:06:45not want that baby to be born. In my
- 1:06:47opinion, speculation. I do not think
- 1:06:50that she wanted that baby to be born
- 1:06:52because she wanted to be the one to give
- 1:06:54that experience to Chris. Nicole
- 1:06:55Kessinger was jealous of Shannan.
- 1:06:57Everything that Nicole wanted, Shannan
- 1:06:59had. And so if Shannan then gave him a
- 1:07:02son, which is the thing that he wanted
- 1:07:04the most, then what was Nicole going to
- 1:07:07give him? Nothing. He has already
- 1:07:09experienced all of those things that
- 1:07:11Nicole wanted to experience. So what new
- 1:07:14experiences were was Nicole going to
- 1:07:16bring to Chris? the only new experience
- 1:07:19that she could bring to him was to give
- 1:07:20him a son. But since Shannan was already
- 1:07:23doing that, she could not have that
- 1:07:24happen. And so the oxy didn't work. The
- 1:07:27oxy did not lead to a miscarriage. And
- 1:07:30the biggest thing here, the biggest
- 1:07:32threat to their relationship was
- 1:07:35bringing yet another baby into this
- 1:07:38world. That was the biggest threat I in
- 1:07:40my opinion was a newborn son. Not a
- 1:07:43single mention. The reporter asked him,
- 1:07:45the reporter had to remind him, "Oh,
- 1:07:48your wife is also pregnant, right? Like,
- 1:07:50you are expecting a child." And he's
- 1:07:51like, "Yeah,
- 1:07:54don't even ask me about that. I don't
- 1:07:55want to talk about that." I get the
- 1:07:57impression that Chris was pestered so
- 1:08:01much by Nicole because of that baby that
- 1:08:04he doesn't want to keep hearing it. He's
- 1:08:06tired. He's like, "Yeah, I know. I
- 1:08:08already know that there was a baby. I
- 1:08:09heard it from Nicole constantly." But
- 1:08:12anyway, that's just my opinion. Uh,
- 1:08:15let's continue. There's It's literally
- 1:08:17This is the end of it.
- 1:08:19Let me know what you think. Let me know
- 1:08:21what you thought about Chris Watts 7
- 1:08:24years ago when you first watched this
- 1:08:25interview and let me know your thoughts
- 1:08:27on it. Now, we can talk about Chris
- 1:08:30Watts and all his interviews for eons,
- 1:08:32and we can still find so many things
- 1:08:34that we've missed in the past. But if
- 1:08:36this is your first time on my channel
- 1:08:37and you liked this video, go ahead and
- 1:08:39subscribe. And if this is not your first
- 1:08:41time on my channel and you noticed these
- 1:08:44stickies, these stickers could not have
- 1:08:46been made possible without you guys.
- 1:08:49Because of your love and support and
- 1:08:50your contributions, we were able to make
- 1:08:53stickers. I am so excited to show you
- 1:08:55guys. We have a sticker of my painting.
- 1:08:57This is one of my very first paintings
- 1:09:00that I've painted ever with acrylic, the
- 1:09:03spazzed out heart. And we also have the
- 1:09:06holographic sticker for my other
- 1:09:08painting, one of my very early paintings
- 1:09:11as well, Joshua Tree at night. And with
- 1:09:13this one, the original painting has a
- 1:09:15gold moon. So, the sticker also has a
- 1:09:20gold holographic moon. I love all of
- 1:09:24your suggestions, you guys. I love all
- 1:09:26of your suggestions. Of course, we've
- 1:09:28got the Let's Continue stickers.
- 1:09:33We have the laptop let's continue
- 1:09:36sticker. And then we also have the let's
- 1:09:39continue in pixie dust. And we have the
- 1:09:43let's continue in holographic.
- 1:09:46So if you like these stickers and you
- 1:09:48want to keep supporting my channel, go
- 1:09:50ahead and get you some. Get some for
- 1:09:52yourself. Get some for your friends and
- 1:09:53your families. Again, all of this was
- 1:09:55made possible because of you guys. As
- 1:09:57this channel grows and as we get 5,000
- 1:10:01and then 10,000 subscribers, we'll be
- 1:10:03able to make more merch. Um, my goal is
- 1:10:06to make t-shirts. I also want to make
- 1:10:07hats. With that, continue to make
- 1:10:10content for you guys. And so, please let
- 1:10:12me know your suggestions. I love reading
- 1:10:14your comments. Keep keep bringing me
- 1:10:16suggestions. And with that, I do want to
- 1:10:19say the Nicole Kessinger series is
- 1:10:21almost over. So, I will be putting a
- 1:10:23poll out for the next series. Now, for
- 1:10:26the series, we do have a few options. We
- 1:10:29have the Nicole Kessinger interview
- 1:10:31without her dad.
- 1:10:33>> Like, I think I made it clear that I
- 1:10:35wasn't like 100% sure this was like the
- 1:10:37man of my dreams and I was going to
- 1:10:39spend the rest of my life with him or
- 1:10:40anything, but I was enjoying the time
- 1:10:42that I was spending with him at that
- 1:10:44point.
- 1:10:46>> And then we also have other suggestions
- 1:10:48like Chris Watts, the Chris Watts
- 1:10:50interrogation videos. We also have Chris
- 1:10:53Watt's body cam footage that we can
- 1:10:56dissect and make it into a series or we
- 1:10:59can also choose an entirely new case.
