2. 0:02how the story ends this is a story about
3. 0:09us the indoor generation a generation
4. 0:12that spends 90% of its life indoors it
5. 0:17all started the day with F nature behind
6. 0:20we filled our homes with lovely things
7. 0:23and all the stuff we wanted our homes
8. 0:28became places you would never want to
9. 0:30leave artificial light replaced daylight
10. 0:35and we build our houses so that nothing
11. 0:38could escape we cooked and showered we
12. 0:42even played flip and sweated but we had
13. 0:47closed ourselves in to a point where
14. 0:53nothing could get out
15. 1:04so when the air turned bad inside
16. 1:07we tried fixing it with chemicals and we
17. 1:12put in little artificial Suns everywhere
18. 1:15to make the darkness bearable that's
19. 1:20when things started to happen hard to
20. 1:23notice in the beginning
21. 1:30some needed help to sleep to breathe to
22. 1:36not itch many of us even started to feel
23. 1:42sad so we turned on happy lamps to make
24. 1:48the sadness go away then scientists
25. 1:54discovered that the air inside our homes
26. 1:56is up to five times more polluted than
27. 1:58the air outside and that the lack of
28. 2:02daylight can affect children's learning
29. 2:04and increase blood pressure it turns out
30. 2:08that kids rooms often have the highest
31. 2:11concentration of toxicants in the house
32. 2:13in fact millions of homes are unhealthy
33. 2:16to live in they discovered that living
34. 2:20in damp and moldy homes increases the
35. 2:22risk of asthma by 40%
36. 2:27and I learned that millions of people
37. 2:29like me suffer from asthma and allergies
38. 2:32caused by a bad indoor environment and
39. 2:37so here we are how the story ends is up

43. 2:52quality will affect our health and
44. 2:55well-being unfortunately most of us
