The FASTEST Mounts That Change How You Play Palworld 1.0 (Level 1–80) — Transcript
Full transcript
- 0:00Power World has an absurd number of
- 0:02mounts and unlocking the wrong saddle is
- 0:05a fantastic way to declare technology
- 0:08point bankruptcy just like me. So from
- 0:12level one to 80, I'm going to be
- 0:14comparing every meaningful ground mount,
- 0:16water mount, and flying mount to show
- 0:19you exactly which saddles are worth
- 0:21purchasing and which pals deserve to
- 0:25remain unemployed. A few rules. I'll be
- 0:28talking about uncontensed pals unless I
- 0:30mention they are condensed. We'll be
- 0:33comparing the stamina, speed, and mount
- 0:37versatility. So, for example, a mount
- 0:39that can go on water and land versus a
- 0:42mount that can only go on land. For the
- 0:44first 10 levels in Power World, there is
- 0:46really nothing meaningful for speed. You
- 0:48could pick up the rush bore here, but as
- 0:51a running mount, it ain't really worth
- 0:53it. Same can be said about the dire
- 0:55howl. However, your first useful mount
- 0:59will be the Chilllet that's unlocked at
- 1:01level 11. He is found very early on into
- 1:05the map, and he's our perfect little
- 1:07firefighter to help us put out all the
- 1:10mistakes we will be making. The Chillet
- 1:13comes with a fantastic run speed of 10
- 1:17to 50. His stamina, sitting at 100, is a
- 1:20little bit on the lower side, but still
- 1:23a fantastic pal for level 11. But his
- 1:26MVP comes in on the swim dash speed
- 1:311900.
- 1:33Faster than a Germanide but slower than
- 1:35a NEP. This is super important because
- 1:37you're not going to find really anything
- 1:39in that early game that's going to
- 1:40compete with a Chillet. Super nice,
- 1:42versatile on land. It gets a little hop
- 1:44to help you get over some minor bumps.
- 1:47When he is deployed to the sea, he turns
- 1:49into an absolute motorboat. Further
- 1:52diving our way down the technology tree,
- 1:55you will get the Nightwing. This is your
- 1:57first flyer with the slowest movement
- 2:00speed in the entire game. 750 and 100
- 2:04stamina. I would rather alt F4 than
- 2:06touch this thing. Same thing can be said
- 2:08about the Vanguard. Do not touch these
- 2:11guys with a 10-ft pole. They are
- 2:13useless. At level 20 though, you will
- 2:15unlock the elf. The riding speed here is
- 2:18a,000, so 50 units slower than the
- 2:21Chillet. But he comes with one major
- 2:23upside. This guy can actually fly. He
- 2:26looks like that fat dragon from How to
- 2:28Train Your Dragon, you know, where he's
- 2:30like trying to flap. This is This is
- 2:32This is exactly what he is. However,
- 2:34though, he gets two big advantages that
- 2:37come along with that flying speed. If
- 2:39you get the aqua version, you will get a
- 2:4240% increase to your speed when in the
- 2:44water, and you do get 30% more stamina
- 2:47than a chillet. The only major downside
- 2:50here is that his saddle, the aqua
- 2:52version, unlocks at 32. In the earlier
- 2:55version, can be found very easily as
- 2:58just a standard boss out in the open
- 3:00world. So, at this point, we have a
- 3:03fantastic early game pal, the Chilllet.
- 3:05If you want a bit more traversal, then
- 3:06the aqua version here is good as it has
- 3:09a flying and some water capabilities.
- 3:11And plus, he just looks so special
- 3:13blazing up through the levels here. At
- 3:1624, you'll see an Azorbo. But just like
- 3:18I mentioned previously, the Chillet is
- 3:20just faster than him. So, I'd recommend
- 3:22skipping the Azorbo and the Surfent. Not
- 3:25worth picking up. The Hell Zephr. This
- 3:28is your next flyer at level 25. And now
- 3:31we're finally getting some decent speed.
- 3:33At 1,100 and 170 stamina, he is faster
- 3:37than any mount we have seen so far for
- 3:40land and air. I would say his contender
- 3:43would be the fangalope sitting at 1050,
- 3:45so just a bit slower. It has 140
- 3:49stamina. But something that the Fangal
- 3:51has in my opinion over the previous
- 3:53mount is it has that double jump which
- 3:55can make for some quick traversal
- 3:57moments as it's instant to get that
- 3:59double jump. And plus, I personally
- 4:01think the Fangaloupe looks really cool.
- 4:03I'm on the Lux version, but the Lux and
- 4:05the standard version of the Fangaloupe
- 4:07have the exact same writing stats. And
- 4:10that goes for any pal in the entire
- 4:12game. If it's a subvariant, the stats
- 4:14are always similar. Just like you should
- 4:16always be smashing that like button and
- 4:18subscribing. Further down the tech tree
- 4:21of hope. At level 28, we unlock a big
- 4:25one, the D the days move. Now, he has
- 4:271,200 movement speed, which is less than
- 4:3010% faster than our previous flying
- 4:33mount, but he gets a major bonus that
- 4:36should be not overlooked, and that is
- 4:3950% speed on sand. As you can see, when
- 4:42I'm off sand, I'm going much slower. But
- 4:44then the second I hit this patch of
- 4:46sand, I start zooming like I hit the
- 4:48nitro and I got to get in my Need for
- 4:50Speed movie. Why is he so valuable?
- 4:53Because there's a bunch of little
- 4:54patches of sand throughout the
- 4:57landscapes all throughout the early game
- 4:59and even in the mid game as you can go
- 5:01to the desert very early on at level 30
- 5:04if you want to go over there and pick
- 5:05him up. His stamina though is a little
- 5:07bit lower at 100, meaning he doesn't
- 5:10have a lot of longevity when he's going
- 5:12for those mad dash like a sprinter. Now,
- 5:15one of the biggest jumps in speed will
- 5:18be your beckon, the level 29
- 5:21demon. At first glance, he doesn't seem
- 5:24very special, sitting at 1,200 speed
- 5:27with 160 stamina. But if you fully
- 5:30condense him four stars and use his
- 5:33synergy properly, you will have 2400
- 5:36movement speed, making him a top 10
- 5:38fastest pal in the entire game. Now, of
- 5:43course, the way we do this is by
- 5:45stacking electrical pals in our party as
- 5:48he gets a 5% bonus for everyone we have,
- 5:51excluding Copycat Beckan. He is located
- 5:55a little bit on this northern side. So,
- 5:57you get a saddle earlier on for when
- 6:00you'll probably actually obtain one. So,
- 6:02the second you hit 29, I highly
- 6:04recommend bolting over here and grabbing
- 6:06him as long as you're down for some
- 6:08shock therapy inside of your party. He
- 6:10is one of the best flyers in the entire
- 6:13game, and you won't see many mounts that
- 6:16get much better. Now, the next one is
- 6:18the Rena Hawk. We already saw Spoon
- 6:21Speed. It's sitting at 1,300. So only a
- 6:24100 faster than a beacon and it has less
- 6:27stamina sitting at 150 compared to the
- 6:30160 that a beckon gets. The Rnahhawk
- 6:33does have four kindling and the passive
- 6:36here is kind of nice for some extra
- 6:37damage. But if you're looking for a fast
- 6:39mount, I would skip the Ragnahok as all
- 6:42it will take is a single uh electrical
- 6:45pal for your beckon to be faster than a
- 6:48Ragnarok. on the pluma. This one baited
- 6:51me pretty hard. As move speed is
- 6:53increased by 155% while in grass. It
- 6:56sounds really good in theory, right?
- 6:59That is until you realize it's one flaw,
- 7:01and that is there's a lot of sand out
- 7:04here in the open map. Without the grass,
- 7:06it's not very fast, and it doesn't it
- 7:10just doesn't feel good to get around the
- 7:12map with the low jump, the fact that
- 7:14terrain can always get in your way. I
- 7:17just never found this guy useful. Even
- 7:19though he's extremely fast while on
- 7:22grass, he's smoking that good stuff, let
- 7:24me tell you. Unless you have a
- 7:27McDonald's order to fill the plumba,
- 7:30just ain't worth a pickup. If you guys
- 7:32are curious about his stats at a,000
- 7:34speed with 180 stamina, so it sounds
- 7:37good in theory, right? Cuz double that
- 7:38means technically this guy is going at
- 7:402550.
- 7:43Bruh, it just ain't worth it. The Gorman
- 7:46Tide saddle unlocked at level 40. Now,
- 7:50this is where the fun begins. If you can
- 7:53get him at level 40, as you can find him
- 7:56at level 55, but getting him at level 40
- 7:59is not really going to be on the cards,
- 8:02but at swim speed almost on par with the
- 8:05chillet sitting at just 90 below, but it
- 8:08has 150 stamina compared to the 100.
- 8:11Translation: If you're going over a
- 8:13longer distances, the German tide will
- 8:16demolish the chillet. Only problem is
- 8:18finding a German tide at level 40.
- 8:20Unless you're doing a breeding trade, it
- 8:22it's not going to happen. I guess you
- 8:24could say that idea sunk. A xenogard is
- 8:27actually a very good mount if you can
- 8:29find one. These guys come in meteorites
- 8:32that fall around the map with the old
- 8:34bowling ball icon. They come in at 1,200
- 8:38movement speed, pretty good, and 250
- 8:41stamina. It's the highest stamina we've
- 8:42seen on this list and some of the
- 8:44fastest movement speed if you're looking
- 8:45for a good ground combat mount. But
- 8:48realistically, I have a better chance
- 8:50getting a date than getting a Xenogard
- 8:52in Power World. And my odds are pretty
- 8:54low. Now, a heavy hitter is the Suku
- 8:57Saddle at 43. And we're just going to
- 8:59include his little brother here, the
- 9:01Sazuka Aqua Saddle. Now, the aqua
- 9:04version can only be found over on this
- 9:06island, unless you breed it, of course,
- 9:09where the fire version can be found onto
- 9:11this desert, and this was actually my
- 9:14flyer throughout a lot of the Midame. It
- 9:16has,00 base speed, so slightly slower
- 9:18than the beckon, but it comes with a
- 9:21major upside, and that is if I don't
- 9:23want to use electricity, cuz cowards use
- 9:25electricity, and I want to burn the
- 9:27world down. So with the fire pal squad,
- 9:29which in my opinion is much stronger,
- 9:31you get that movement speed bonus as
- 9:33well. Another massive upside is you get
- 9:36over double the stamina of a beckon.
- 9:39Because of this, if you love fire or
- 9:41aqua, cuz the the aqua one's really good
- 9:44if you can get it as well is that small
- 9:46trade-off in speed is definitely worth
- 9:49that increase in stamina. Plus, in my
- 9:51opinion, the Suzuka is a much better
- 9:54combat pal than the mechanis. So, I
- 9:58think this is a worthy upgrade when you
- 10:00can acquire it at level 43. And if you
- 10:03don't want to stack fire, water, or
- 10:06electrical pals for your beacon and you
- 10:08want to have a diverse party, then the
- 10:10shadow beak will now become your best
- 10:12mount as its speed is 1,600, comes with
- 10:14decent stamina 250.
- 10:17Now, the shadow beak is unlocked at 47.
- 10:20And to be honest, he looks very cool.
- 10:22One of the best looking mounts in the
- 10:24entire game in my opinion, and he comes
- 10:26with a nice passive, and that is while
- 10:28flying, movement speed is increased. And
- 10:31comes with a nice passive enhances dark
- 10:33attacks while mounted by 15%. It just
- 10:36looks so cool. I I think this guy is
- 10:38like the Batman of Power. He is one with
- 10:41the knight. But continuing down the list
- 10:43of disappointment, the next one you will
- 10:46have access to that you might want to
- 10:48take a look at is the Selena. Her saddle
- 10:50is 53 and she comes from the same place
- 10:53the Zeno comes from and that will be
- 10:55meteorites that drop periodically around
- 10:58the map. The one major advantage of a
- 11:00Selen is she her combat power is
- 11:03extremely good. Probably the best combat
- 11:06power out of any mount I've mentioned so
- 11:08far. and she'll quickly be replacing
- 11:10that shadow beak. Same movement speed
- 11:13and 50 more stamina and her combat power
- 11:15is better. So just an allaround better
- 11:17mount. Now that opens up the question,
- 11:19is it worth getting the shadowbe mount
- 11:21at 47 or just waiting until 53? That's
- 11:24only 67 levels and that choice is yours.
- 11:28I think it's worth skipping until you
- 11:30get to Selen powered up. Suzuka or
- 11:32Rebeccin can easily get you to that
- 11:35point. Now a Glendane I think it's worth
- 11:37skipping. comes in with a ride speed of
- 11:401260. Not bad. Stamina 200, but we're
- 11:43not looking for speed and it just can't
- 11:45compete with what we already have. The
- 11:48Starion follows the same type of logic.
- 11:50I would just skip it. German tide Ignis
- 11:52has the same stats as a normal Dormant
- 11:54Tide. Now, the next flyers and mount you
- 11:56can you can get will be a Ferraris Aqua
- 11:59and the normal. Now, originally I
- 12:02thought these guys would be a great
- 12:04pickup. They have, you know, they they
- 12:06feel fast. They have good combat
- 12:08potential and they look like a fat KFC
- 12:11bird. But then you dive deeper into the
- 12:13stats and it has 100 more movement speed
- 12:15than a Rhino hawk and only 70 more
- 12:17stamina. Now it sounds like a good
- 12:19upgrade until you realize we're now at
- 12:21level 60 and the Rhino Hawk was at level
- 12:2333. This power scaling makes no sense.
- 12:26Now the Cigus, he kind of chy and
- 12:29honestly he's not a very good mount for
- 12:31for moving or fighting, but he comes
- 12:33with a broken passive. So, I thought I
- 12:35would quickly mention him as when he's
- 12:37in your party, you basically become an
- 12:39unkillable god with that 80% damage
- 12:41reduction. It is peak. All right. Now,
- 12:45we'll have access to the frost
- 12:47stallions. This is probably one of the
- 12:49best mounts you can get up until this
- 12:51point. Downside is you have to go and
- 12:53kill the boss at level 60 or you can go
- 12:56find the frostallion Noctturn at 65 over
- 12:59here on the island. Their stats are
- 13:01identical. And the cool part is they can
- 13:03actually fly at 1,800 movement speed
- 13:07with 300 stamina. Very good. The run
- 13:09speed is a lot lower at 1,200, but
- 13:13definitely work worth a pickup in terms
- 13:15of speed. Now, it is a very pretty pony
- 13:17and this will give your attacks ice in
- 13:20my opinion because it has good combat
- 13:22stats. It looks really cool. Frost, one
- 13:24of the best mounts in the entire game
- 13:26for aesthetics in my opinion. and it's
- 13:28the fastest mount at this point without
- 13:31uh building your party around it. Now,
- 13:33the Neptulus, we're going to quickly
- 13:35cover him since he's at 64. He just has
- 13:37really high swim speed being the
- 13:39Chillet, but his flying speed is nothing
- 13:41like amazing. He looks pretty cool and
- 13:43he's very good at combat. 2,000 swim
- 13:46dash speed. Fantastic. And if the nip is
- 13:48not inside of water, he looks like that
- 13:51salmon that like came out of the river
- 13:53and now just flopping around like
- 13:57I could see the inspiration. Then at
- 13:59level 70, we had the heartless. Now this
- 14:02guy is very fast, got good movement,
- 14:06triple jump. However, he comes from
- 14:08killing a level 70 raid boss. And I'm
- 14:11going to put money that most people are
- 14:13not killing this guy the second they hit
- 14:15level 70. You're probably going to be
- 14:17killing this guy at level 80 because of
- 14:20the difficulty of the raid boss. Like
- 14:22that's amazing. 410 stamina. We hit the
- 14:25jets, but as a ground mount, he is the
- 14:28fastest ground mount in the entire game.
- 14:321,900 movement speed with 400 stamina.
- 14:35And he's one of the best combat pals for
- 14:37a ground mount as well. So if you can
- 14:40beat that raid boss at level 70, I pick
- 14:42him up. Quickly backtracking the
- 14:44necrois. As you can see, he had the same
- 14:46movement speed, heart. If you want to
- 14:48ride him as grand mount, he's good to
- 14:50pick up, but he doesn't have a lot of
- 14:51mobility outside of like sprint speed.
- 14:54That's why I kind of glossed over him.
- 14:56And everyone's favorite mount if you
- 14:58want to go fast is the Idlon. At level
- 15:0168, we got to bring him back. He's a
- 15:04boss that you can fight right here at
- 15:07level 69 at the bottom of the map. And
- 15:09he's currently the mount I use even at
- 15:12Endgame. He is faster than Dreon and he
- 15:15is just an absolute speed demon. The
- 15:18reason why he's so fast is because when
- 15:21he's fully condensed and you pair him
- 15:22with a dragon or dark pal in your party,
- 15:25he moves at the speed of sound. And a
- 15:28lot of the pals that you will be using
- 15:29at the endame will follow a dragon or
- 15:33dark pal build. So a Selen, right, most
- 15:36people's party that's a dark. So that's
- 15:386% movement speed right there. And if
- 15:40you want to make your Eldrion your raid
- 15:43boss killer as he has very high damage
- 15:45and he is capable of doing this then
- 15:47you'll be taking nothing but dragon or
- 15:49dark pals with you further giving you
- 15:52that movement speed. So he's just does
- 15:54everything. The ro I would just skip
- 15:56him. Theodil she's good for some speed
- 15:59but more of a combat pet. And then we'll
- 16:02get down to the last two. The shaolong
- 16:05and the jetragon missile. We're going to
- 16:07group these all together as you pretty
- 16:10much can attain these around the same
- 16:12level. They're one level apart. The
- 16:14jeton located right here and the shaolon
- 16:17can be found immediately after you enter
- 16:20the world tree. How do they all stack up
- 16:22against each other? Well, the writing
- 16:23speed of a jeton is just the fastest.
- 16:25Faster than the whale at 3,000, the
- 16:28Shaolong at 2,800, and yes, the Idlon at
- 16:322750. The Idrilon has the best stamina
- 16:35at 1300, outbeating these three. Now,
- 16:39you could throw in the Xenolord here,
- 16:41which is tech level 66, but this thing
- 16:44is even harder to kill than the level 70
- 16:47in my opinion. So, the odds that you're
- 16:49killing this thing at level 66. It's
- 16:51just not happening. The stamina there is
- 16:53300 and his movement speed is at 2700.
- 16:56So, another great contender. All of
- 16:58these, by the way, are fantastic combat
- 17:00mounts and they serve multiple purposes.
- 17:03But now, if we head over to the site
- 17:04where if you're fully juiced up, the
- 17:07Idolon will beat the Detecton by 100
- 17:11sprint speed when he's fully juiced on
- 17:14four stars and properly
- 17:17synergized. The Zeta Load fourstar will
- 17:20be extremely fast as well, sitting at
- 17:233240.
- 17:24So then at this point when the speeds
- 17:26are less than a 10% margin I would just
- 17:28say pick whatever mount you enjoy
- 17:31playing. The Idelon fantastic the
- 17:33Jetricon great and the Xenolord are all
- 17:37good options. The Idrilon is just like
- 17:39the new and cooler version of the
- 17:41Jetron. It looks better. It's way more
- 17:44just stylish, man. It's like the Teeo
- 17:47jet versus the Amazon jet. I would love
- 17:51to try the Xenolord, but that boss is
- 17:54capital C, but he looks based as well.
- 17:57And if you can kill this guy at level
- 17:5966, I would love to hear it down in the
- 18:01comments below. But now I have two
- 18:04honorable mentions for this list as they
- 18:07don't have a movement speed or a stamina
- 18:09bar, but they are fantastic ways to get
- 18:12around the map. And that's going to be
- 18:14the Gail Claw. You find this man very
- 18:19early on. basically a starter pet and he
- 18:22can make you go faster than pretty much
- 18:24anything in the entire game when you
- 18:26combine the oldest trick in the book,
- 18:29the grappler
- 18:31light glider trick. You just fly around
- 18:35the map. So, if you can, I think this is
- 18:37one of the best mounts to use in the
- 18:39entire early game. Very fast, very
- 18:41versatile. If you want a trick for how
- 18:44this method works, you just always try
- 18:46to be on flat ground. And the second you
- 18:48think your character is going to hit the
- 18:50ground, you hit space and you just
- 18:54catapult your way across the map. Only
- 18:57downside is when you're going uphill,
- 18:59you can't really do anything. But
- 19:00something you can do is actually pull
- 19:02out your gun and start blasting. The tar
- 19:05rant saddle, the webslinger, something I
- 19:08slept on personally when I was leveling
- 19:10up, but this thing allows you to go so
- 19:13fast. I've seen the Tik Toks, man. like
- 19:15you are zooming on this guy and you are
- 19:18just a little mini Spider-Man. You
- 19:20unlock it very early on at level 20.
- 19:23However, this one takes some brain power
- 19:26to use. It's the hardest way to get
- 19:28around the map, but it's very rewarding
- 19:29and it's very fast. If you guys
- 19:32disagree, let me know down in the
- 19:34comments below. And while you're at it,
- 19:36what's your favorite mount in Power
- 19:38World and why? For me, it's got to be
- 19:40the Idleon. Fastest versatile mount in
- 19:44the entire game. I'm also a big fan of
- 19:46the heartilus, but it's locked behind
- 19:48that raid boss.
