- 0:00Hello everyone and welcome to ZPR Zanu
- 0:03Project Rethink. I'm Frank Zano and uh a
- 0:08couple of things happened this week and
- 0:10I want to I I just thought I should put
- 0:13it into a monologue and this is going to
- 0:16be a different uh a different kind of
- 0:20monologue because um it's a little
- 0:22emotional. Uh it it has come to a time
- 0:26when I think I need to speak more
- 0:28plainly so people can understand where
- 0:31I'm coming from. People can understand
- 0:32why I say rethink. When I say rethink,
- 0:35I'm not asking you to change your
- 0:38mindset. I don't know the formula or the
- 0:40means by which people change mindset. I
- 0:42don't know. Uh and so here is it. This
- 0:47past week we had a heavy rain pour. So I
- 0:49took time off. I hosted uh a group of
- 0:52people. They are African-Americans,
- 0:55Africans, and some Caribbeans. I think
- 0:57about 35 people altogether. And um I
- 1:00allowed with a secret recording. I
- 1:02allowed them to talk about what is just
- 1:04simple.
- 1:06I threw the question in a form of a
- 1:08conversation. What is wrong with the
- 1:11with black? By that I mean the race. Now
- 1:15you can call yourself uh a black
- 1:17American. I'm not African. You can call
- 1:19yourself a Caribbean. I'm not African.
- 1:21Uh, I am saying the race. Are you going
- 1:23to say that if you are an FBA or black
- 1:25American or afroamerican or
- 1:27African-American or Caribbean Jamaican
- 1:29American that you are not of the black
- 1:32race? No, you are of the black race. So
- 1:35when I say black, I am talking about the
- 1:37race. So let's keep that in mind.
- 1:40Anyway, the conversation when I hosted
- 1:42these 35 people went on for about the
- 1:45first hour long
- 1:48and I was hearing everything they were
- 1:50saying about black and some of them
- 1:52sounded like uh HL Hugley who says that
- 1:54something wrong with black people or the
- 1:56Breakfast Club that insisted something
- 1:58is wrong with black people. PLO Lumumba
- 2:01of Kenya. every speech you hear uh he
- 2:04was invited all the way by politicians
- 2:06to Nigeria to come from Kenya to come
- 2:08and talk to Nigerian politicians. What
- 2:11is wrong with black people? Uh Ariana
- 2:14from Zimbabwe. What is wrong? She talks
- 2:16about what is wrong with black people.
- 2:18The list is long. If you're in the
- 2:20United States, there are podcasts
- 2:22devoted solely to talk about something
- 2:24is wrong with black people.
- 2:26Commentaries, conversations.
- 2:29Am I wrong? Please correct me.
- 2:32It seems not it seems it is that we are
- 2:35the only race of people where
- 2:37Thanksgiving, Christmas gathering in the
- 2:40club, dinner at your home or when you
- 2:42hosted a people. If we are not talking
- 2:45about women, shoes, cars, we are talking
- 2:49about the black race. What is wrong with
- 2:51us? What is wrong with us? What? Oh,
- 2:52there's something wrong with black
- 2:53people. That is what you hear. You can
- 2:55read it in writings, in poetry.
- 3:00that something is wrong with us.
- 3:03During this very conversation, it went
- 3:05on on and on and on
- 3:08and one thing became clear to me. Not a
- 3:12single person in that room that day
- 3:17said in one word
- 3:20what is wrong
- 3:23with the black race. Nope.
- 3:26Nobody could mention a could say a word
- 3:28to describe it.
- 3:30But you hear things like we must change
- 3:32our mindset. We must change. We must
- 3:35move forward. We must move on. We must
- 3:37grow as a people. We must unite as a
- 3:40people. This is what you keep hearing
- 3:42throughout the entire conversation.
- 3:44But nobody said one word that describes
- 3:48what is wrong.
- 3:51And number two to say when it was never
- 3:55wrong when it was never there that is it
- 3:58just started happening. Nobody said it
- 4:01but everybody in the room agreed within
- 4:04among to themselves out loud that there
- 4:08is something wrong with the black race.
- 4:12And so when it quiet down a little bit I
- 4:14clear my throat and I said huh I've been
- 4:17listening to the conversation seems very
- 4:19very interesting. So I want to ask each
- 4:21and every one of you a simple question.
- 4:24The first question is do you agree that
- 4:27you are black? They said yes I'm black.
- 4:30And I said is something wrong with you?
- 4:33No. Nothing is wrong with me. Do you
- 4:36need to change your mindset?
- 4:39He said no.
- 4:41Are you a bad black man? No. I asked the
- 4:45second person, the third person, the
- 4:46fourth person, the fifth person. In
- 4:48short,
- 4:49the entire room said nothing
- 4:51independently as a unit of the race.
- 4:54They said nothing is wrong with them.
- 4:58And then that what was when it hit me.
- 5:01So I thought if I take a microphone and
- 5:03hit the road now
- 5:05in New York, in London,
- 5:08in Johannesburg, in Lagos, in Ara, in
- 5:11Cotto, Benini and I ask each and every
- 5:14black person in Jamaica, Barbados,
- 5:18Antigga, Haiti, and I ask each
- 5:21individual black person, is there
- 5:23something wrong with you?
- 5:26They will say, no,
- 5:28nothing is wrong with me. Are you
- 5:30corrupt? The answer will be no. I'm not
- 5:33corrupt.
- 5:38But collectively,
- 5:41we believe something is wrong with us.
- 5:44But individually,
- 5:47everyone says nothing is wrong with him
- 5:49or her.
- 5:52Do you get where I'm going with this?
- 5:55You want to know from me right now? Your
- 5:57mind is raising. So, Zano, what do you
- 5:59think?
- 6:00What do I think?
- 6:02This is what I think or this is what I
- 6:06know.
- 6:07When you walk into the jungle,
- 6:11you would see a couple of four-legged
- 6:13mammals, the antelope,
- 6:16the gazelle,
- 6:17the zebra. How would you know that
- 6:20you've seen a zebra?
- 6:23Because the zebra has stripes, so you
- 6:26know it's a zebra.
- 6:30How would you know you've seen a
- 6:31giraffe?
- 6:33The sheer height of that animal makes it
- 6:36distinct from other animals.
- 6:39How do you know you've seen an elephant?
- 6:42The shape.
- 6:45Birds. Would you confuse
- 6:49a sparrow from a green eagle? Ballheaded
- 6:54eagle?
- 6:55No. If they ask you, "How do you know it
- 6:58was an eagle?" You will describe it. How
- 7:00about a hawk? The same thing.
- 7:06How about a dog from a pig? You will be
- 7:08able to describe why you believe what
- 7:10you saw was a dog.
- 7:14Now,
- 7:17why wouldn't that be applied to the
- 7:20human race?
- 7:23How do you know you met a black person?
- 7:25Would you say a skin color? No.
- 7:30But if anybody observes you for a
- 7:32certain number of hours or days, a
- 7:35darkkinned
- 7:37man from India, a dark-skinned man from
- 7:40Africa,
- 7:42a dark-skinned man from Pakistan,
- 7:47a dark-skinned man from Australia, Papa
- 7:49Newu Guini, New Zealand, all dark
- 7:53skinned. But you'll be able to tell the
- 7:55difference, wouldn't you?
- 7:59So, how do you know when you say, "I met
- 8:01a black man?" Yes. First, the obvious
- 8:04one with the eyes, skin color, isn't it?
- 8:08And when people are talking about the
- 8:09race collectively, they're not talking
- 8:11about skin color.
- 8:15You are rejecting what you are.
- 8:21And the most dangerous and sickening
- 8:23game ever played on a man is when he is
- 8:26convinced that there is something wrong
- 8:29with him or her as a group and yet
- 8:32nobody is able to identify that one
- 8:35thing that is wrong. But you see it's
- 8:37been repeated so many times. You
- 8:41actually believe that what you are is
- 8:43not what you are supposed to be.
- 8:48Can you imagine the psychological pain
- 8:50and damage that is? So you pass it on to
- 8:53your children.
- 8:56No wonder it is only among us that
- 8:59people use words like selfhate.
- 9:03Oh, they say because I don't sing the
- 9:06victim song along with them to blame
- 9:08somebody else for our problem. The
- 9:10problem that has no name.
- 9:13This is ladies and gentlemen all again
- 9:151920.
- 9:18The problem without a name, feminine
- 9:21mistake.
- 9:23That was what launched the women
- 9:26liberation movement.
- 9:31That is what we are dealing with.
- 9:35In the 1920s,
- 9:37housewives believe that there is
- 9:39something not right with us.
- 9:42And they were honest enough.
- 9:45Miss Wright when she wrote the book
- 9:46called it the feminine mystic.
- 9:49The feminine mystic the problem without
- 9:52a name.
- 9:55What is the problem with the black race?
- 9:58For those of you who claim there is a
- 10:00problem. What is that problem?
- 10:03Here are 35 people in my in my presence.
- 10:06Men, women from three different
- 10:07locations of the black race. The
- 10:09Caribbean, United States of America and
- 10:11Africa.
- 10:13They can go on with abstract terms and
- 10:15words
- 10:17about what they believe, not what they
- 10:19have seen and researched and come to a
- 10:22conclusion. No, what they grew up
- 10:23hearing there is something wrong with
- 10:25us.
- 10:28Self rejection,
- 10:30but you can't fix it and you can't teach
- 10:31anyone how to fix it either.
- 10:36It's like you are asking a doctor to
- 10:39cure a disease you never had.
- 10:44is depressing, frustrating,
- 10:48psychologically damaging.
- 10:51You yourself have repeated it so many
- 10:53times. All you have to do is to look at
- 10:55the social media in the United States,
- 10:57as I said earlier, and you will see
- 11:00individual black people all the way to
- 11:02Gotfree who just stopped being a
- 11:05comedian. White, Black, Yellow, used to
- 11:07come to see his show and listen to him.
- 11:10He retired. I believe he has a podcast
- 11:14and he joined the army to repeat that
- 11:17there is something wrong with the black
- 11:19race.
- 11:25Everybody is saying it. You go to the
- 11:27continent, you go to South Africa,
- 11:30everywhere I have traveled, I have
- 11:33mingled with many different people.
- 11:36Have you listening to me right now? Have
- 11:39you seen any other group of people from
- 11:41a different race, the Europeans, Asians,
- 11:44Middle East, sitting down and openly on
- 11:48podcast telling the world that there's
- 11:50something wrong with us. Yet when you
- 11:52ask them individually, they said no,
- 11:55nothing is wrong with me.
- 11:59Go around and add Gossrey if something
- 12:02is wrong with him. He will say no. Ask
- 12:04every single guest he brings on that
- 12:05show. Ask Ploa of Kenya if something is
- 12:09wrong with him. He will say no. But ask
- 12:11him, "Are you black?" He will say yes.
- 12:19If we continue this way,
- 12:21nobody has to do it for us and nobody
- 12:23has ever done it to us.
- 12:26We are the ones telling the world to
- 12:28stay away from us.
- 12:32Of course, they should. You believe so
- 12:34deeply that something is wrong with us.
- 12:36And yet when you step outside,
- 12:39you ask people to treat you as if you
- 12:42have no contagious disease. What are you
- 12:45saying? How do you say to people? I have
- 12:48CO.
- 12:51But when I come to your house, your
- 12:52store, your workplace, please don't stay
- 12:54away. Don't force me to wear a mask,
- 12:57but I have CO. How is that possible?
- 13:02You want me to hug you? How is that
- 13:04possible? You want to get on the same
- 13:05train with me, but you said you have CO.
- 13:08You want to come into my restaurant
- 13:10unmasked, but you said you have CO. So
- 13:12if you tell the world, black people have
- 13:14a problem and you say it so loud in your
- 13:16movies, in your writings, in your
- 13:19podcast,
- 13:21in your psych, you've passed it on to
- 13:23your children. Of course, even I will
- 13:26stay away from myself.
- 13:32That is why people are staying away.
- 13:33They didn't read any book about us.
- 13:38They didn't.
- 13:40You don't know.
- 13:43You just heard it when you were growing
- 13:44up. But the only reason we came to a
- 13:48conclusion that there's something wrong
- 13:49with us, you know where it came from. Is
- 13:52because we looked at other people.
- 13:56And for some strange reason, I don't
- 13:58know why we liked what we saw
- 14:03on the other side of the other people
- 14:05who are not like us. White, Asian, red,
- 14:08blue, Russian, Indian. We liked it
- 14:11because if we didn't like it, we
- 14:14wouldn't say that something is wrong
- 14:15with us.
- 14:18Can I prove it? Sure.
- 14:21In this country, the United States of
- 14:23America, even on the continent of
- 14:25Africa, whenever we claim that we have a
- 14:28problem,
- 14:29our next go to for solution is this. We
- 14:34have a problem because when we look at
- 14:35the right, the white group, we are not
- 14:39equally mixed up with them. So, welcome
- 14:42DEI.
- 14:44If we mix with them, our problem will go
- 14:46away. What does that mean? You have just
- 14:49simply said
- 14:51we have a problem.
- 14:54They don't have a problem. So they
- 14:56should welcome a certain number of us to
- 14:58be equal with them and hopefully it will
- 15:01rub on us.
- 15:04We are even asking this in private
- 15:06sectors.
- 15:08So, welcome DEI, welcome affirmative
- 15:11action, welcome integration.
- 15:15In the 20s and 30s
- 15:17or however long it was,
- 15:20there was segregation in this country
- 15:23pushed by white people in the south
- 15:26since we don't want black people to come
- 15:28to our schools. We don't want to drink
- 15:30from the same fountain with them. We
- 15:33don't want them to come to the same
- 15:35lunch counter or restaurants. We want to
- 15:38segregate.
- 15:39Do you know what the march was about?
- 15:41People got beaten, spit on.
- 15:45Not that the states in the south. Not
- 15:48that they didn't say we would not direct
- 15:51the water supply to blacks. No, there
- 15:54are fountains marked blacks only, white
- 15:58only. Water was coming out of both.
- 16:01But a black man woman would give himself
- 16:03to be bitten just so I can cross over
- 16:06and drink from your fountain.
- 16:08But no white person
- 16:11felt the need to say, "How dare you
- 16:13segregate your own fountain." Right?
- 16:16Think about it. People sat at a private
- 16:20lunch counter lunch and say, "I'm going
- 16:22to eat here. You're going to serve me
- 16:24whether you like it or not." It's not a
- 16:25public welfare lunch restaurant. No,
- 16:29private. They pour ketchup on them, spit
- 16:32on them, but they sat down there and
- 16:34took the humiliation.
- 16:38I want to integrate with you. Never. I'm
- 16:41inviting you to come integrate with us.
- 16:43No,
- 16:45I talk about him all the time. The
- 16:48baseball player,
- 16:50he took all the humiliation a human
- 16:52being can allow himself. But if I can
- 16:54play with you guys
- 16:58in South Africa, the whites said we are
- 17:01in this land. We came to settle. You
- 17:03have your own tribal land over there. We
- 17:05have and we want to settle where either
- 17:07we stole it, took it, conquered it. We
- 17:09just want to be separate.
- 17:13For decades, people went to jail and
- 17:15died.
- 17:17Just let me be what I am. But as long as
- 17:19I can come to your area,
- 17:23I have never met any other nationality
- 17:25of any other race that sit around on
- 17:28television, on radio and just inform the
- 17:31world,
- 17:33what is wrong with us Germans? We are
- 17:36too backward. What is wrong with us
- 17:38French people? We are too backward. No,
- 17:40never.
- 17:42Even the poorest countries you would
- 17:44find in Eastern Europe,
- 17:46never. the poorest countries you would
- 17:49find in East Asia never.
- 17:54But as soon as you walk among black
- 17:56people, this becomes a repeated
- 18:00phrase and slogan
- 18:03and then they began to ask for things.
- 18:06because of what is wrong with me, you
- 18:07need to put me on your welfare system.
- 18:10In other countries that intentionally
- 18:12refuse because once somebody begin to
- 18:15receive things for free, you've killed
- 18:18the person's self-esteem.
- 18:20So many countries, they will set up the
- 18:23system in a way you will have to work at
- 18:26least the appearance of it to be able to
- 18:30receive services. And people will be so
- 18:32troubled that they will push hard to
- 18:34make sure the duration of remaining on
- 18:36that system is shorter so my children
- 18:38don't see it.
- 18:41But among us,
- 18:45first thing you start thinking is what
- 18:47are other ways and means can I stay on
- 18:49longer
- 18:52when other cultures do everything they
- 18:53can
- 18:55to not let you stay on it because it
- 18:57kills self-esteem. No, we will stay on
- 19:01it, broadcast it, tell the world.
- 19:08Why don't we accept? This is what
- 19:11interesting about humans. For example,
- 19:15the ADA, the American Disability Act
- 19:19was established because people said, "I
- 19:21am not well.
- 19:24I have certain challenges physically,
- 19:27psychologically, visually
- 19:31or with my hearing.
- 19:34The public didn't say, "Get away. We
- 19:36don't want you." The public came
- 19:37together
- 19:39and sympathize and said, "Yes, build
- 19:41ramps, have a braille, this and that.
- 19:44Enhance systems on the screen so these
- 19:47people can live with us even though they
- 19:51have solving problems." You see, we said
- 19:55we have no problem. You caused it.
- 19:59I can't defend myself. And you ask me to
- 20:02prove that I didn't cause it. Is the
- 20:04opposite.
- 20:06It's like in asking Saddam Hussein,
- 20:08prove you don't have weapons of mass
- 20:09destruction. What should I do? Shoot one
- 20:11of them.
- 20:13No, you have to prove that I have it.
- 20:16But we put the psychology on him
- 20:19because you told them they did this to
- 20:21you. They don't know what you said they
- 20:23did to you because you never say it.
- 20:26They never We never do.
- 20:31We never do. In Australia today as I
- 20:33speak with you, there is a Sudanese
- 20:36woman who moved to Australia instead of
- 20:38living with other people from other part
- 20:41of the world who've moved to Australia.
- 20:42No, she started refugee immigration
- 20:46advocacy
- 20:48saying that no, you got to review your
- 20:50immigration systems. in Ireland as I
- 20:53speak with you. There is a Nigerian
- 20:54woman paid by the Irish government to
- 20:57spew nonsense about how they the ones
- 21:01from outside don't feel like they belong
- 21:03and that they should pay her to teach
- 21:06people how to make room for the black
- 21:08man in Ireland including
- 21:13they should even allow the foreigners to
- 21:16inherit the country. That is her words,
- 21:17not my words. inherit and redefine and
- 21:20redesign the country. She said these are
- 21:23her words
- 21:29because she can only ask this
- 21:33if she didn't believe that there is
- 21:34something wrong with her.
- 21:37We ask the government to put in place
- 21:40services and welfare systems because
- 21:42first we have to believe something is
- 21:43wrong with us. We ask people to create
- 21:46room in their own community for us to
- 21:49fit in because first you have to agree
- 21:51something is wrong with you. Otherwise,
- 21:52why would you ask for DI?
- 21:55If you didn't believe something is wrong
- 21:57with you, why would you be asking for
- 21:58affirmative action?
- 22:02If you didn't believe something was
- 22:04wrong with you, why would you encourage
- 22:06the work culture that almost destroyed
- 22:08this country? For you to ask for
- 22:10something, for example, health care
- 22:12services, you must believe you are sick.
- 22:14Why would you walk into a doctor's
- 22:16office and ask for examination if you
- 22:18didn't think you were sick?
- 22:24And the more the doctor said, "San, you
- 22:26have no problem. You are racist."
- 22:29Oh, no. In this case, uh, you are what?
- 22:32Um, phobia, fear of human. How dare you
- 22:35tell me I don't have a problem?
- 22:40How else would you ask for
- 22:41transportation
- 22:44if you don't have a distance problem?
- 22:47So we are asking every time we ask
- 22:49anything like this from the government,
- 22:51we are informing the world that we have
- 22:54diagnosed ourselves and believe that we
- 22:56have a problem.
- 22:59You would call someone racist only when
- 23:01you believe you have a problem.
- 23:03Otherwise, you will simply describe his
- 23:05or her behavior as either, oh man, you
- 23:08have a bad attitude and that's all and
- 23:10walk on. He's not a current. She
- 23:14complained about something she believed
- 23:16was not right.
- 23:20But you have to call people names
- 23:23because you believe
- 23:26they are discriminating against a person
- 23:29with disability.
- 23:33And our children are hearing this. They
- 23:36are wearing t-shirts of it in schools.
- 23:41We cannot have something happened to
- 23:43anyone and say, "Oh, well, two American
- 23:45young American kids fought." No. If the
- 23:48one who failed in that encounter was
- 23:51black, then we highlight it. We
- 23:54highlight it. He's black. He's black.
- 23:57You see, because you believe something
- 23:59is wrong with you. The same way they say
- 24:00don't hit a woman, don't hit a child, we
- 24:03have included don't hit a black man.
- 24:07Unless you're black, then you can hit a
- 24:09black man until he or she is blue black.
- 24:14It's like allow two handicap people to
- 24:17fight in a wheelchair. Nothing is wrong
- 24:18with it.
- 24:20But if you are an upright able man,
- 24:23don't bend down and hit somebody in a
- 24:25wheelchair.
- 24:27So if white people do anything with
- 24:29black people, Asians do anything with
- 24:30black people,
- 24:32Middle Eastern people do anything with
- 24:34black people,
- 24:37and the outcome doesn't
- 24:41favor the black man. You are racist. How
- 24:45dare you hit a black man? Because there
- 24:49three things you don't hit in this
- 24:51world. Don't hit a child. Don't hit
- 24:54women. In fact, don't heat pets,
- 24:56animals, and we threw ourselves into it.
- 25:02Nolan Wells, may his soul rest in peace.
- 25:05I have never made a comment about that
- 25:06incident.
- 25:10How dare the one who died during the
- 25:11boat ride should be black. Think about
- 25:14it. Suddenly, Noah Nolan Wells was not
- 25:17an American.
- 25:20But America is a melting pot, right? No.
- 25:22Suddenly he's not just an American, he's
- 25:25black. Because the outcome of that trip
- 25:28did not favor him.
- 25:31Yeah.
- 25:34Yeah.
- 25:36The outcome didn't favor him.
- 25:40And it becomes like you've hit a
- 25:41handicap person. Oh, you're white. Your
- 25:44neighbor is playing music loud at 11
- 25:47p.m. Trash all the neighborhood. Don't
- 25:49call the police. How dare you? And they
- 25:52say it. Crown Ashton Joy Reed Don Lemon,
- 25:57they will say it.
- 26:00A white neighbor called the police on a
- 26:02black man.
- 26:05You see it? And everybody else in this
- 26:08country, I've had police call on them
- 26:11all the time. But when they call the
- 26:13police on you and you complain and play
- 26:16victim, the others, Asians and Middle
- 26:18East and Europeans who say, "Okay, these
- 26:20are very very
- 26:24delicate people.
- 26:27Who wants to touch a delicate thing? We
- 26:29have made ourselves to become too
- 26:31delicate people. Stay away." Then you
- 26:34call them racist. No, they are not
- 26:36racist.
- 26:37Even I, Zanu, I stay away.
- 26:44When is the time for you to say nothing
- 26:46is wrong?
- 26:49When you see something
- 26:52so common,
- 26:55constant and consistent with a certain
- 26:59group of people, why is it not sensible
- 27:01to say this is who they are?
- 27:06Hawaiians in the United States of
- 27:08America have a different body built. You
- 27:10can tell the color, the shape from other
- 27:14parts. Many
- 27:17Native Americans have a different build.
- 27:19You can tell
- 27:21you go to Australia, Aborigans have a
- 27:23different build. Everybody has something
- 27:25that makes people recognize you. You are
- 27:29just simple.
- 27:32But why did we think that what the other
- 27:35group and in the case of America it's
- 27:37white. Why do you think what they have
- 27:39in their neighborhood is better than
- 27:41what you have that will make you launch
- 27:43an integration or integrative
- 27:46charitable organization, the rainbow
- 27:48push and the action network for
- 27:52integration? Why? Why do you believe
- 27:53what they have there is better than
- 27:55yours? That's the first question you
- 27:56need to ask yourself.
- 27:59Why do you believe that your schools are
- 28:01better? Otherwise, you would not launch
- 28:04an activist movement to force the
- 28:06government
- 28:09to make a change.
- 28:12We have recognized others being better
- 28:14than us.
- 28:16When was the last time any group of
- 28:17people at all from any place who are in
- 28:19the United States or in Africa ever
- 28:22begged and marched and for activist
- 28:24groups to say blacks must allow us to
- 28:27come into their neighborhoods
- 28:29institutions when
- 28:33because they don't see anything wrong
- 28:34with them and they don't see anything
- 28:36you have that is better than what they
- 28:38have so they don't push for it.
- 28:42When was the last time you saw any
- 28:44non-black citizens of any country at all
- 28:46in this world sleeping at the embassies
- 28:49of black countries outside anywhere
- 28:51paying selling their grandmothers if
- 28:54they can just to get a visa to come to
- 28:57those black countries not that they
- 28:58don't on tourism on business they do
- 29:02because they don't believe anything is
- 29:04wrong with them that they need a result
- 29:05of the solution from your country but we
- 29:08would go on inflated inflated canons
- 29:11infl inflated boats, stolen ships,
- 29:15whatever through Libya. Libya will take
- 29:17half of us for slaves just so I can show
- 29:19up on the shores of Spain, Italy,
- 29:23London, Germany, as long as I can get in
- 29:26there.
- 29:27Isn't it because you see something good
- 29:29among them? Yes, you did. Who built it?
- 29:32They did. Why then go there and want to
- 29:35change the place?
- 29:40Because you think if you don't change
- 29:43the place and you remain the black man
- 29:45you are that you may stand out because
- 29:48every day in your head you've been told
- 29:50from childhood that something is not
- 29:52right and good about the black man. So
- 29:54you don't want to remain in Ireland or
- 29:56in Germany or in France and just be the
- 29:58black you are. You want to change the
- 30:00place so that your blackness that you've
- 30:02been told is wrong can disappear. That
- 30:04is why you try to do because you don't
- 30:06even think anymore.
- 30:08But if we have come to accept
- 30:11there is nothing
- 30:14and I mean it
- 30:17there is nothing wrong with us because
- 30:20this is what I've learned and I know
- 30:23you can never do what you are not.
- 30:28Do you trust your neighborhood? Yes.
- 30:30There's nothing wrong with it. It is
- 30:32your nature.
- 30:35But for me to accept and not use it to
- 30:38judge you, you have to accept it first
- 30:40and say listen it's my nature.
- 30:46That is the only time I know in the
- 30:49human existence people then start to do
- 30:51something about if they think things
- 30:53needs to change and if you can change it
- 30:55at all first is you got to accept
- 31:02if I'm your husband or you're my wife
- 31:06and by 12:00 noon you finish a bottle of
- 31:09vodka and you keep saying honey there is
- 31:12nothing wrong with me. Well, we have a
- 31:15problem. I can't help you.
- 31:18You're not admitting that you're
- 31:20biologically, psychologically, you have
- 31:22a problem. I can't help you. I'll
- 31:24therefore go for divorce or we both will
- 31:27be unhappy forever.
- 31:30But as soon as you call your wife or
- 31:31your husband and say, I think I have a
- 31:34problem. It's my nature to drink.
- 31:38I think I can tell you, ladies and
- 31:40gentlemen, you will agree with me. Nine
- 31:41out of 10, seven out of 10 people become
- 31:44very sympathetic that humans are
- 31:46compassionate and they would like to
- 31:48help the husband. Many have written
- 31:50books living with an alcoholic
- 31:53how I help my husband or my wife or my
- 31:55uncle because he first have to admit
- 31:58don't judge me this is my nature.
- 32:03We keep blaming other people
- 32:08for just what we are.
- 32:11Do you trash your neighborhoods? Yes.
- 32:13Slavery didn't make you trash your
- 32:15neighborhoods. Colonization didn't make
- 32:17you trash your neighborhoods.
- 32:20It's your nature. Nothing is wrong with
- 32:23it. The only time something is wrong
- 32:24with it is you keep saying that no, it's
- 32:26not me. Now, that is the simplest
- 32:29definition of a fool.
- 32:32Do you go to any meetings late?
- 32:36Tardiness is a Yes, I do. Are you tardy?
- 32:39No, I'm not tardy. Well, you are a fool.
- 32:42The other person will judge you as a
- 32:44fool. Why would you continue being tardy
- 32:47when you know you're not tardy?
- 32:50It means you are doing it intentionally.
- 32:52So, people will have to call you a fool.
- 32:58Do you speak over each other when you're
- 32:59having a conversation? Yes, we do.
- 33:03In Somalia, it's a joke, but I saw it
- 33:05when I was in Kenya. Three or five
- 33:07Somalians can be walking one mile. It
- 33:09happens also in my culture. Each one is
- 33:12telling a story of something that
- 33:13happened yesterday. The other one is
- 33:14telling a different story about his
- 33:15wife. The other one is talking about the
- 33:17animal he hunted yesterday. All at the
- 33:19same time, but they are hearing each
- 33:21other clearly. It's a culture
- 33:24polychronic.
- 33:27Now, if you go to Germany and there is a
- 33:29you become a member of the parliament or
- 33:32any group at all and you can't wait for
- 33:35the other person to finish speaking and
- 33:37when they try to correct you, you go
- 33:39bonkers on people. Well, you're a fool.
- 33:42The first thing you need to know is that
- 33:44I'm from a polychronic culture. In my
- 33:46place, we all speak three different
- 33:49topics at the same time and we are all
- 33:50hearing each other.
- 33:52But now I'm in Germany. They are
- 33:54monochronic. they can't do it.
- 33:58So you find a way. That is where
- 34:00integration comes in
- 34:03for the intelligent mind. You find a
- 34:05way.
- 34:09You see are are we not tardy people? We
- 34:13are. We have a nickname for it in the
- 34:15Caribbean, in Africa, and among
- 34:17African-Americans because we're black.
- 34:20We come from a polychronic culture. So
- 34:22why would you say you're not tardy?
- 34:26Every black person blame another for
- 34:29being tardy until it is his time to come
- 34:32to you, then he's tardy.
- 34:34That's what was happening at the
- 34:36grouping on Sunday. They all spent 30 or
- 34:41more minutes saying that there's
- 34:42something wrong with black people. When
- 34:43I asked them individually, "No, I'm not.
- 34:45I'm not. I'm not." Then who is that
- 34:48mystery black person you're talking
- 34:50about?
- 34:52Let the world hear it.
- 34:55We began to compare ourselves. Nobody
- 34:57told us to compare
- 34:59to the point some people on the
- 35:01continent, one of them is from Kenya, a
- 35:04young lady who claimed that she has the
- 35:06method to makes Africans become
- 35:08afroentric
- 35:11that she's going to lead a charge for us
- 35:13to have our own educational system. She
- 35:16hasn't said yet 42 languages in one
- 35:19country in Kenya. She hasn't said which
- 35:21language they going to use. She goes
- 35:23around with a bead and talks and talks
- 35:26and talks with tears in her eyes.
- 35:29She believes there's something wrong.
- 35:33There's nothing wrong.
- 35:35There is nothing wrong.
- 35:38When we want to be happy, we are the
- 35:41happiest.
- 35:43When African want to use a very humble
- 35:46food and meals as if it's Christmas, we
- 35:48are the best at it.
- 35:52When it comes to being
- 35:54compromising, we are the best at it.
- 35:59Yes.
- 36:01Who told you there is something wrong?
- 36:03When did you discover that thing that
- 36:05was wrong? You've not been able to build
- 36:08your countries to look like other
- 36:10countries? Why don't you simply
- 36:11understand just like other people from
- 36:14uh Eastern Europe and East Asia and
- 36:17other parts? They understand that what
- 36:20they have been able to build is based
- 36:22purely for now on the ability and their
- 36:25capabilities. Simple. Nothing is
- 36:28stopping you to clean your streets.
- 36:30Nothing. The government can beat you.
- 36:33And it did happen. You talk about 1979
- 36:36all the way to 1989.
- 36:39JJ Rollins of Ghana, you get whipped for
- 36:41not coming out on Saturdays to clean
- 36:43your street. And then Nigerian copied it
- 36:45in 1983. I believe it was called the war
- 36:48against in discipline. A military code
- 36:52decree was established that Nigerians
- 36:55must come out on Saturday to clean their
- 36:58streets.
- 37:01Why would that be possible? Now, as I
- 37:03speak with you, Ghana just started it.
- 37:07If the people by nature
- 37:10are very tidy
- 37:12and they discriminate how they dispose
- 37:16garbage. Nobody will whip anybody
- 37:19because they will just do it naturally.
- 37:23But foolish government
- 37:26who wants to play to social media camera
- 37:28are now going around and beating people
- 37:31up to come out and clean their
- 37:32neighborhoods because somebody is not
- 37:34thinking. First, if you recognize it as
- 37:37a nature of your people, that will help
- 37:39you find a certain means of how your
- 37:43streets and neighborhoods will be clean
- 37:46slowly with evolution. One day, maybe
- 37:49the third generation from today,
- 37:52something may change. I don't know or it
- 37:54may not change at all. But you got to
- 37:57recognize it that it is the nature of
- 38:00us. In fact, that stupid mayor mayor
- 38:02who's come out and trashing women to
- 38:04pick their leader, you go to his own
- 38:06neighborhood, I've been told and I was
- 38:08shown photos, he has three broken down
- 38:10cars parked on the public street in
- 38:13front of his house,
- 38:15but he's in another neighborhood telling
- 38:17people to sweep. It's all performance to
- 38:20the camera.
- 38:23Tardiness. Is it nature? Yes, it is.
- 38:26Yes, it is.
- 38:29If you recognize it, so you do something
- 38:32either flex time to allow people so that
- 38:35things can work. But first is to
- 38:38recognize
- 38:40but not to go around telling people that
- 38:42because of their interaction they made
- 38:45you a tardy person.
- 38:47Colonization made every black city in
- 38:50the world to trash their cities. Well,
- 38:52the person who colonized you has very
- 38:54tidy streets. Why didn't that rub on
- 38:57you? Oh, you were able to copy his dress
- 38:59mood, neck tie like me. Look at me.
- 39:02Fella would say this is colonial
- 39:03mentality.
- 39:05I'm not angry.
- 39:07You copied that very well. In fact,
- 39:08better than him. You copied his swag
- 39:11better than him. Your women copied her
- 39:14hair better than her. But you couldn't
- 39:16copy how to keep your streets straight
- 39:18and clean. You couldn't copy from him
- 39:20how to maintain your infrastructure
- 39:22ahead of time
- 39:25because it's nature.
- 39:28That is the only thing you couldn't
- 39:29shed. Clothing is not nature.
- 39:33Cosmetics is not nature. So those you
- 39:35were able to copy.
- 39:37But the one that is nature, you can't
- 39:39throw it away.
- 39:42The men who came to colonize you for
- 39:44years and build your school systems and
- 39:46your curriculum. They are very
- 39:47transparent and honest with each other
- 39:49in their culture. That is the number one
- 39:51thing you see when you go to the west.
- 39:54Kids just would turn blue when they lie.
- 39:59We we turn into angels when we lie
- 40:02because it's nature. So no conflict
- 40:04happens.
- 40:09We beat polygraph like we are pros.
- 40:14Why would you go around the world
- 40:16telling yourself and the whole world to
- 40:18hear that something is wrong with you
- 40:21through your podcast
- 40:23and I got called self-hating because I
- 40:27said there's nothing wrong and what
- 40:29really triggered me was not this weekend
- 40:32grouping that I had. There's a gentleman
- 40:34from Zimbabwe and I know he's going to
- 40:37hear this and please be honest and go to
- 40:41the comment section and say something.
- 40:44He wrote my manager kept reading it and
- 40:48saying don't read this, don't read this.
- 40:49I'm responding to him
- 40:53and he said I unlike him he works every
- 40:58day to uplift black people globally.
- 41:02Those are his words. I have published
- 41:04books and I write books because I think
- 41:06I want to uplift my people.
- 41:11You Zano otherwise
- 41:13on the other hand everything you say
- 41:16you're putting black people down.
- 41:19Then he went on to say that from his
- 41:22conclusions I say that the white man is
- 41:25superior and the black man is inferior.
- 41:29My manager asked him to pick any one
- 41:32video where I have said anything not
- 41:36even directly but along those lines. He
- 41:38sent a video back which is what changed
- 41:42my today's monologue to this one that
- 41:44there was a video I said what that is a
- 41:47question word isn't it? What have your
- 41:50ancestors left behind? Two young Gen Z's
- 41:53came on my show. This is a good
- 41:56thought-provoking question you should
- 41:57ask young people and see it might
- 41:59refresh their memory. If they can
- 42:01remember something
- 42:04was a question I asked. I never in that
- 42:07video insinuated you didn't. I gave you
- 42:09the opportunity. He said that video
- 42:11indicates that I said white is superior.
- 42:15But this man never saw the follow-up
- 42:19video,
- 42:22the second part two, where I said my
- 42:25answer, what made me proud of my
- 42:27ancestors. He never saw that video.
- 42:32He insulted the entire race by saying he
- 42:35has a god-given ability to uplift
- 42:39black people. Do you know where he's
- 42:41writing from? Zimbabwe.
- 42:46I never said in my bio that I, Frank
- 42:48Zano, I have what it takes to uplift a
- 42:51race of people. No.
- 42:55Yeah. My level of arrogance. No, that
- 42:58didn't go that far.
- 43:01I first have to know that you are down.
- 43:05Why would I say my people
- 43:10that they are down zero and I have
- 43:13[snorts] what it takes to uplift? That
- 43:15is what this Zimbabwe man is telling
- 43:16black people and he call me a black
- 43:19hater. You see them as low and down and
- 43:22out and they waiting for you to uplift
- 43:24them. I'm saying there's nothing wrong
- 43:26with them. They come as they are and I
- 43:29accept them as they are. I'm a thought
- 43:30provoker.
- 43:32So, I will ask questions regardless of
- 43:34race. But I'm a social commentator who
- 43:38happen to like to talk about and
- 43:40challenge people who look like me
- 43:44because I respect that they have brains
- 43:47and they can talk back and debate like
- 43:49it happened in the era of the Greece,
- 43:51the Greeks
- 43:54and the Romans and the Germans and Cars
- 43:58and Nopenhau.
- 44:03Nobody said that because they wrote
- 44:06philosophical thinking to question the
- 44:08status of their being that they are
- 44:09putting their people down. Only the man
- 44:12who has been told since childhood that
- 44:14something is wrong with him. So as soon
- 44:16as he hears Zano and I'm not quing some
- 44:19white man or Asian for what you've done
- 44:20to us or some Jew, therefore I'm putting
- 44:23my people down.
- 44:26Listen to me, buddy. I'm not in the
- 44:27business of pampering black people as if
- 44:31they are babies.
- 44:35But I think if you're a Gen Z, a young
- 44:38person listening to this message, start
- 44:40right now. If you care about your people
- 44:42and you respect them,
- 44:49you kill people's self-esteem if you
- 44:51keep telling them something is wrong.
- 44:54and all 90% of your charitable
- 44:56organization activist group is to beg
- 44:58other people to change who they are so
- 45:01you can be who you are. That must end in
- 45:042026.
- 45:06There is nothing wrong with the black
- 45:08man. What you see is what we are on our
- 45:13own terms. Our country the way it is
- 45:16nothing, not a corrupt politician, no
- 45:19not colonization, no slavery. Otherwise
- 45:22it will not be uniform
- 45:25on earth.
- 45:27I ask South Africans for your anger to
- 45:30go away. This is the very important
- 45:32part. Climb the tallest mountain in
- 45:35South Africa and look at the remaining
- 45:3753 countries in Africa. Look at the 10
- 45:40black countries in Asia. Look at the
- 45:43black neighborhoods and communities in
- 45:44the UK, in Australia, in China, in the
- 45:46United States. If any of these black
- 45:49places I've mentioned, South Africans
- 45:52is any different
- 45:55or looks the way you wish your country
- 45:58would look, then definitely something is
- 46:00going on affecting you. But if they all
- 46:03look, in fact, to tell you the truth,
- 46:05all of them, including Nigeria, looks
- 46:07worse than your country, South Africa.
- 46:12Let me repeat. A sensible person would
- 46:15climb the tallest mountain in South
- 46:16Africa. Look at the remaining 53
- 46:18countries in that one continent. Then
- 46:20take a look at the ones who moved their
- 46:22way to the Caribbean, Australia, New
- 46:24Zealand, Papa Newu Guinea, the groups
- 46:27that are in America, in the UK, and tell
- 46:29me what is different about those black
- 46:32people
- 46:34from you.
- 46:37If you see anything you can point to and
- 46:40say that is what we want to become then
- 46:42I can say something a path I real did
- 46:44something to you.
- 46:46Nothing happened my friend.
- 46:50And that is my monologue for today.
- 46:53Go to the comment section tell me what
- 46:56you think. Anyway announcement

- 48:342024, I launched ZPR. There is nowhere

- 48:40type of conversations. I'm not saying
- 48:42they are right or wrong or no.
- 48:46You won't find it.
- 48:51This material is now being used right

- 48:56group of PhDs trying to research into
- 48:59the things I'm saying.
- 49:02This material will be here for the next
- 49:0430, 40 years. In fact, I'm planning all
- 49:07my monologues are going to be cataloged

- 49:24listen to, they are now on Spotify and
- 49:26I'm collecting the numbers like crazy.
- 49:29So I'm excited as to the growth we have
- 49:31created together for just two years my
- 49:35dear two years
- 49:38and I'm just a few numbers from a
- 49:40100,000 which is bigger than population
- 49:43of more than 10 countries in the world
- 49:45be bmuda antigga uh libenstein in Europe

- 49:52I thank you guys really it's been a
- 49:54journey sometimes I think it's 5 years
- 49:56or 10 years but this is only 2024 for
- 49:59right at the end of co and I have to
- 50:01thank all of you
- 50:05those who are there just so they can say

- 50:26and I challenge anyone Man, show me any
- 50:30source you know. And those of you saying
- 50:32the CIA is giving me money, the juice.
- 50:34I'm begging the CIA and the juice in
- 50:36every episode. Bring the money. I'll
- 50:38take it.
- 50:40But I'm too confident. You can't change
- 50:42my editorial freedom. Forget it. What do
- 50:45you think? Have you Have you seen the

- 51:03will be kind enough to join my exclusive
- 51:05community, you get to ask me questions I
- 51:07can't speak in public about.
- 51:11But don't pretend.

- 51:15for me.
- 51:17I want to thank every one of you.
- 51:21It's been a journey. My cameraman, you
- 51:24haven't seen his face before. Maybe you
- 51:25saw him on other videos, but he's a
- 51:27great guy. I'm telling you. Again, don't

- 51:48In October,
- 51:49my first video for the Zanu think tank
- 51:55is how colonization saved the black
- 52:00race. Don't get angry until you hear me.
- 52:05And this I want to thank you all.
- 52:07Another monologue. I'll see you in the
- 52:09inside adios. Please subscribe. Thank
- 52:14you.
