1. 0:00If you're looking to get a new pair of
2. 0:01wireless earbuds, well, you've come to
3. 0:03the right place because here at Sound
4. 0:04Guys, we have tested hundreds of
5. 0:06different wireless earbuds. We perform
6. 0:08objective testing in our Sound Guys
7. 0:10testing lab, looking at things like
8. 0:12sound quality, active noise cancelling
9. 0:14performance, and of course, we also use
10. 0:16all these earbuds ourselves. So, any
11. 0:18earbuds that we run into any issues
12. 0:20with, well, you won't find them on this
13. 0:22list today. Instead, what we're going to
14. 0:23be looking at today are three wireless
15. 0:25earbud options. We've got a budget
16. 0:27option, a mid-range option, and then my
17. 0:30personal favorite wireless earbuds that
18. 0:31are on the market right now. There's a
19. 0:33new king of the hill when it comes to
20. 0:35budget wireless earbuds. We just got
21. 0:37these in last month, and they have
22. 0:39overtaken all the other sub earbuds that
23. 0:41we have tested to date. These are the
24. 0:43CMF Buds 2 Plus. These have a starting
25. 0:46price of only $69, but despite that low
26. 0:49price, they actually sound pretty good.
27. 0:52These have the latest Bluetooth 5.4 with
28. 0:54support for the LDAC codec. And in our
29. 0:56MDAC sound quality testing, these
30. 0:58attained an impressive 4.8 on a scale
31. 1:00from 1 to 5. What that means is that
32. 1:02most people will probably like the way
33. 1:04these earbuds sound straight out of the
34. 1:06box. And again, at this price, that's a
35. 1:09good thing. You also get a companion app
36. 1:11with these earbuds that has a custom
37. 1:13equalizer. So, if you want to tweak the
38. 1:15sound and boost the bass, well, you can
39. 1:17do that. It is only a threeb equalizer,
40. 1:19so you don't get a ton of customization.
41. 1:21But again, at this price, I'm not really
42. 1:23complaining. If you want to take them
43. 1:24outside in the rain or go for a run with
44. 1:26them, well, these have IP55 dust and
45. 1:28water resistance, so no sweat. There's
46. 1:30even some high-end features here as well
47. 1:32with these earbuds, such as spatial
48. 1:34audio. Moreover, these have impressive
49. 1:36battery life. In our battery testing,
50. 1:37the CMF Buds 2 Plus lasted 10 hours and
51. 1:4022 minutes, which is actually the best
52. 1:41out of any of the earbuds that we're
53. 1:43going to talk about today. Even the
54. 1:44active noise cancelling holds up to most
55. 1:46of the premium options, as our testing
56. 1:48shows that these earbuds are capable of
57. 1:50blocking out an average of 83% of
58. 1:52outside noise. So, if you're on the
59. 1:54noisy train on your way to work and you
60. 1:55want noise cancelling that can block out
61. 1:57all those annoying sounds, well, these
62. 1:59earbuds can do that. Now, they're not
63. 2:01perfect, though. So, in terms of the
64. 2:02drawbacks with these budget buds, well,
65. 2:04there's no wireless charging. So, if you
66. 2:07like to just throw your earbuds on the
67. 2:09pad to charge them, you won't get that
68. 2:11here. There's also no support for the
69. 2:13smart dial with these earbuds, which was
70. 2:15found on their predecessor, the CMF Buds
71. 2:172 Pro, and it allowed you to easily
72. 2:19adjust the earbud settings from a
73. 2:21convenient little dial on the case. So,
74. 2:23even when the case is in your pocket,
75. 2:24you could adjust playback and and change
76. 2:26to the next song. Now, these just have a
77. 2:29a plain old dial that spins. I mean, you
78. 2:31can still fidget with it, but doesn't
79. 2:34really do anything. So overall though,
80. 2:36considering how much these cost, the
81. 2:38SeamF Buds 2 Plus are a great buy and
82. 2:40they're my current pick for best budget
83. 2:42wireless earbuds. But what if you have a
84. 2:44little bit more money to spend? And what
85. 2:46if you want earbuds that sound good or
86. 2:49great? Or you want actually the best
87. 2:51sounding wireless earbuds on the market?
88. 2:53Well, they're not necessarily the most
89. 2:54expensive wireless earbuds. That's not
90. 2:56what I found after testing all of them.
91. 2:57No, if you care about sound quality, the
92. 3:00best wireless earbuds for you are the
93. 3:02Creative Arvana Ace Mimi. These earbuds
94. 3:05cost a little over $100, so they're a
95. 3:07great mid-range pick. But even though
96. 3:08they're only priced as a mid-range
97. 3:10option, I actually think that they sound
98. 3:11better than most of the premium picks
99. 3:13that cost twice or even three times as
100. 3:16much money. Why is that? Well, these
101. 3:18have XM's drivers inside of them, which
102. 3:20is an innovative new headphone
103. 3:22technology that is only found on a
104. 3:23handful of earbuds on the market right
105. 3:25now. If you want to learn all about this
106. 3:27technology and how it works, well, we
107. 3:28have a full explainer on soundguys.com
108. 3:30that you can go and check out. But all
109. 3:32you really need to know is this. These
110. 3:33earbuds sound damn good. Like really
111. 3:37good. Like my favorite sounding earbuds
112. 3:40that you can buy right now. In our MDAC
113. 3:43sound quality testing, these got a score
114. 3:45of 4.9 on a scale from 1 to five,
115. 3:47including a perfect five out of five in
116. 3:49tambber. These are the highest rated
117. 3:52earbuds that we've tested so far when it
118. 3:54comes to sound quality based on what
119. 3:56most people prefer. What's even better
120. 3:58is that thanks to their collaboration
121. 4:00with Mimi, these earbuds adapt to your
122. 4:03ears. Inside the Creative app, you can
123. 4:05take a listening test and then the
124. 4:07earbuds will adapt their sound based on
125. 4:09your ears and what amount of hearing
126. 4:11loss that you have. On the other hand,
127. 4:13if you're an audio file and you know
128. 4:15exactly the way that you want your
129. 4:16headphones to sound, well, there's a 10B
130. 4:19custom equalizer that you can dive into
131. 4:20to tweak these to your exact liking. So,
132. 4:23no matter if you're new to earbuds or
133. 4:26you're an expert audio file, well,
134. 4:28you'll probably like the way the
135. 4:29Creative Arvana Ace Mimi sound. Beyond
136. 4:31sound quality, the Creative Arvana Ace
137. 4:33Mimi also has everything else that you
138. 4:35might need in wireless earbuds. We found
139. 4:37that they have good active noise
140. 4:39cancelling. They have Bluetooth 5.3 with
141. 4:41support for LDAC, and I didn't run into
142. 4:43any connectivity issues, and they have
143. 4:45decent microphones, so if you want to
144. 4:47take calls on the go, you can also do
145. 4:48that with these. In terms of drawbacks,
146. 4:50well, these don't have amazing battery
147. 4:53life. In our testing, they only lasted 4
148. 4:55hours and 41 minutes on a single charge.
149. 4:57That's pretty low for modern wireless
150. 5:00earbuds. That said, though, I mean, over
151. 5:024 hours of battery life is still more
152. 5:04than enough juice to get you through
153. 5:06most listening sessions. And of course,
154. 5:08you can always just put the earbuds back
155. 5:09inside the case to keep them charged
156. 5:11throughout the day. Now, when it comes
157. 5:12to the best overall wireless earbuds
158. 5:15that you can buy right now, well, I
159. 5:18mean, it's going to come down to your
160. 5:20personal preferences and what you look
161. 5:22for in wireless earbuds. But for me, if
162. 5:26I could choose any wireless earbuds to
163. 5:28throw in my pocket and use everyday,
164. 5:30it's going to be the AirPods Pro 2. Now,
165. 5:33I know some of you might be saying, "Oh,
166. 5:35Apple fanboy, Apple." Okay, here's the
167. 5:37deal. Yes, I have an iPhone and I have a
168. 5:39Mac and I'm wearing my Apple Watch on my
169. 5:41wrist right now. The ecosystem is just
170. 5:44convenient and the AirPods work really
171. 5:46well within that ecosystem. The truth
172. 5:49is, if you have an iPhone and you want
173. 5:51the most features, the most convenience,
174. 5:53well, AirPods are the way to go. And
175. 5:55personally, I lean towards the AirPods
176. 5:58Pro 2 over say the AirPods 4. AirPods 4
177. 6:00with active noise cancellation because
178. 6:02the AirPods Pro 2 has those silicon ear
179. 6:04tips that come in different sizes. So,
180. 6:06no matter what shape your ears are, you
181. 6:08have a much better chance of getting
182. 6:10good fit with the AirPods Pro 2 than the
183. 6:12AirPods 4. The thing about the AirPods
184. 6:13Pro 2 is that these have really aged
185. 6:15like fine wine. As the years have gone
186. 6:17by, now nearly 3 years since the AirPods
187. 6:20Pro 2 first came out, well, they just
188. 6:22keep getting better and better thanks to
189. 6:24overtheair updates that Apple keeps
190. 6:26pushing to them. Last year, we saw Apple
191. 6:28announced the ability to use these
192. 6:29earbuds as a hearing aid for moderate to
193. 6:32mild hearing loss, making these one of
194. 6:34the most affordable options for people
195. 6:36looking for both wireless earbuds to
196. 6:38listen to music to as well as a hearing
197. 6:40aid to help amplify their surroundings.
198. 6:42This year at WWDC, Apple announced more
199. 6:44improvements coming to their AirPods,
200. 6:45such as improved microphone quality. I
201. 6:47mean, it's just crazy that it's been
202. 6:49nearly 3 years and Apple is still giving
203. 6:52these proper attention, even if the
204. 6:53AirPods Pro 3 might be around the corner
205. 6:56soon. And let's not forget that
206. 6:57objectively these are just pretty good
207. 7:00earbuds. We put these through our sound
208. 7:02quality testing. We put them through our
209. 7:03noise cancelling testing, our battery
210. 7:05testing, our microphone testing, and
211. 7:07across the board, the AirPods Pro 2 just
212. 7:10pass all the tests with flying colors.
213. 7:12Most people will have a very enjoyable
214. 7:14experience using the AirPods Pro 2. Now,
215. 7:16of course, the AirPods Pro 2 are a good
216. 7:18option for those with an iPhone, but
217. 7:19what if you have an Android phone? Well,
218. 7:21one set of earbuds that we're excited to
219. 7:24just see announced recently is the Bose
220. 7:26Quiet Comfort Ultra Earbuds 2, but we
221. 7:29haven't put those to our testing lab
222. 7:31yet. So, make sure to hit that subscribe
