The BEST NEW Way to Test Ads on Meta in 2026 — Transcript

- 0:00Every expert says to test more and more,
- 0:02but that only wastes more money, creates
- 0:04more ad fatigue, and makes scaling
- 0:06almost impossible. In this video, I'll
- 0:09show you the Olympic rings method, my
- 0:11five concept system built around one
- 0:13simple question, and how it's taken
- 0:15dozens of accounts from hundreds a day
- 0:18to thousands. Before I walk you through
- 0:20how all of this works, I need to show
- 0:22you what an ad really is, because it's
- 0:24not what you think. On Instagram and
- 0:27Facebook, every post, paid or organic,
- 0:31is a web page on their site that
- 0:33competes for attention in the feed.
- 0:37Every social media feed is basically
- 0:40just a Google search results page, where
- 0:42Andromeda is showing you content it
- 0:44thinks you'll engage with.
- 0:47Every single piece of content has a
- 0:49score called the estimated action rate
- 0:52based on how likely people are to do
- 0:55things like engage and click, and every
- 0:57new ad starts with a score of zero.
- 1:04This is where testing tons of ads begins
- 1:07to make everything worse. For the first
- 1:09few days of any new ad, your ads are
- 1:12always shown first to the warmest
- 1:15audience, because those are the people
- 1:17most likely to engage and click and take
- 1:19actions on your site that you want them
- 1:21to. Let's take a step back real quick.
- 1:24The more new ads you launch, the more
- 1:26you invest in competition against your
- 1:29warmest audience. The new ads take spend
- 1:32and credit from your existing ones, so
- 1:35the older ads look worse, and you're not
- 1:37filling the funnel. This means it gets
- 1:40more and more difficult to reach new
- 1:42customers, and all of your costs go up,
- 1:45and then you get trapped in the cycle.
- 1:47Results look worse, so you launch more
- 1:49ads, performance gets less stable, and
- 1:52you become more dependent on whatever
- 1:54new ad is getting the warm conversions
- 1:56today. You end up day trading the ad
- 1:59account, just fighting to hold the line,
- 2:01and that's not scaling the business. If
- 2:03you want to make a lot more money, that
- 2:05doesn't make a lot of sense.
- 2:11Now, I know what you're thinking.
- 2:14Charlie, WHAT ABOUT CREATIVE DIVERSITY?
- 2:17LET'S clear it up. Because if you don't
- 2:19understand this, nothing else is going
- 2:22to fix your problem.
- 2:24Creative diversity is not about the
- 2:26volume of ads you make. Meta
- 2:28specifically states that Andromeda was
- 2:31built because so many people were
- 2:32launching so many ads, and now it
- 2:35penalizes that. What Meta wants is
- 2:38simpler, a few ads that do different
- 2:40jobs.
- 2:45Which brings us to the method of the
- 2:47Olympic rings, a framework to analyze,
- 2:50test, and scale without undermining the
- 2:52ads that are already working. The
- 2:54Olympic rings is a five-concept
- 2:57process. Each ring is a concept. Each
- 3:00ring has different ads, and all rings
- 3:03are purposefully connected.
- 3:06The three rings on top are your
- 3:07prospecting ads. The two rings on the
- 3:09bottom are your retargeting ads. Ring
- 3:12number four should be designed as the
- 3:13second touch for the ads in ring number
- 3:15one and number two. Ring number five
- 3:18should be designed as the second touch
- 3:19for ads in ring number two and number
- 3:21three. This structure creates a
- 3:23well-organized framework of prospecting
- 3:26ads and retargeting ads. To get started,
- 3:28you just need five core ads, not
- 3:30hundreds, not spammy chaos, a small team
- 3:33where every ad has a job, and none of
- 3:35these ads have to be perfect. They just
- 3:37have to be good enough at their role in
- 3:39the system. Because when they are,
- 3:41Andromeda can match the right message to
- 3:43the right person at the right time, and
- 3:45that's what this is all about. Now, I
- 3:47hope you're enjoying watching this video
- 3:48as much as I enjoyed making it, and I
- 3:50want to take a moment and just say thank
- 3:52you for watching it. Go ahead and smash
- 3:53the like button, subscribe to the
- 3:55channel if you haven't already, ring the
- 3:56bell so you don't miss any future
- 3:57videos, and take a moment to join the
- 3:59Disruptor Academy where you can get for
- 4:01free all the assistance that you need
- 4:04all the things we talk about in this
- 4:05video. There's a link right there. All
- 4:07right, with that being said, let's get
- 4:09back to it.
- 4:14When you build your account like this,
- 4:16everything changes. These ads don't
- 4:18magically become profitable forever, but
- 4:20they stay stable for much longer and
- 4:22actually improve over time because they
- 4:24aren't competing for the same
- 4:26conversions. Every impression teaches
- 4:29Andromeda something useful, which
- 4:31sequence of ads works on which person,
- 4:34when to show the problem ad versus the
- 4:36one with proof, and who just needs a
- 4:38reminder, and in what order to tell the
- 4:40story to get the best customer for the
- 4:41cheapest price. Most accounts run dozens
- 4:44of new ads every week competing to be
- 4:46the last touch on any sale that happens.
- 4:49The Olympic Rings is a five-concept
- 4:51system of ads that work together to make
- 4:53more sales happen. That's why results
- 4:55get more stable, scaling stops feeling
- 4:58like gambling, and you stop needing to
- 5:01save the account every week with a new
- 5:03win from a fresh creative pack. And when
- 5:06your traffic is more consistent in
- 5:08intent and quality, everything
- 5:10downstream gets easier. Landing pages,
- 5:12email, even search because you can
- 5:15finally focus on improving the business,
- 5:17not day trading the ad account. Less
- 5:20wasted spend, higher quality customers,
- 5:23and more scale that finally feels
- 5:25inevitable instead of impossible. Alex
- 5:28Schultz, Meta CMO in his last book,
- 5:30explains that when Zuckerberg talks
- 5:32about personalization, he's not talking
- 5:34about making a different ad for every
- 5:35single person. He's talking about the
- 5:38overall experience somebody gets across
- 5:40the feed, across all of the touchpoints,
- 5:43paid and organic. And that is the whole
- 5:46point of the Olympic rings. You're not
- 5:48trying to spam the system to hack your
- 5:50way into the highest row as. You're
- 5:52giving it a small set of distinct and
- 5:54proven messages so it can personalize
- 5:56who sees what and when. Personalization
- 6:00is a delivery sequence problem, not a
- 6:03creative volume problem. So all of this
- 6:05forces one simple question.
- 6:09When should you test new ads and how
- 6:12should you do it?
- 6:13Creative testing isn't about the next
- 6:15win or the cheapest sale. It's about
- 6:18being able to get more sales. If the
- 6:21balance between the rings is stable and
- 6:23every time you increase the budget, the
- 6:25performance is consistent, you already
- 6:27solved the hardest problem in any ad
- 6:30account. The real question is, can I
- 6:32spend more money? If the answer is, yes
- 6:35I can, don't try to fix what ain't
- 6:37broken. You've already won. The single
- 6:40worst thing you could do is launch new
- 6:42ads. Just keep scaling. But if the
- 6:45answer is no, that is when creative
- 6:47testing matters.
- 6:52That is when we use a simple version of
- 6:55the scientific method to solve the
- 6:57problem. You start with a control, the
- 7:00system you already know works, even if
- 7:03it's not working well enough. Then you
- 7:05test one variable at a time until it is.
- 7:08One variable could be a new hook or a
- 7:10new testimonial or handling a different
- 7:12objection. But don't change three things
- 7:14at once because you'll never know what
- 7:16actually fixed the problem. That is what
- 7:18creative testing is for. Not finding the
- 7:21perfect ad, it's finding one small
- 7:24improvement that gets you back to a yes,
- 7:26I can spend more money without
- 7:28performance breaking. So instead of
- 7:30launching random new ideas, you look at
- 7:33your rings and ask one simple question.
- 7:36Which one of these isn't doing its job?
- 7:38Remember when I said creative testing
- 7:39isn't about finding more winners? This
- 7:42is why any winning ad can look
- 7:44unstoppable, but it can only carry so
- 7:46much weight. And if your winners don't
- 7:49work together, you don't have a system.
- 7:51You just have a bunch of isolated
- 7:53journeys, and you've effectively built a
- 7:55more complicated house of cards, and
- 7:57you've amplified the problem instead of
- 7:59solving it. And I've made that mistake.
- 8:01And this is why so many accounts
- 8:03struggle to scale, testing as much as
- 8:06possible to find the next winning ad.
- 8:09But Facebook Ads is a team sport. Messi
- 8:12is incredible, but he's not winning
- 8:14matches if he's on the pitch by himself.
- 8:16The way you win is by building a team of
- 8:19complementary players, each designed for
- 8:22a specific job, all pushing towards the
- 8:24same goal, consistent, profitable
- 8:28growth.
- 8:33That's what Meta rewards. That's what
- 8:35real creative diversity actually looks
- 8:37like in practice, and that's what
- 8:39Andromeda is built for, a system that
- 8:41can win again and again, and that makes
- 8:44your job incredibly easy. If you're not
- 8:47winning, improve the worst player on the
- 8:50team. Meta doesn't care how clever your
- 8:52ads are. It cares whether your system
- 8:54gives people a good enough experience,
- 8:56and if it does, your performance will be
- 8:58good enough to increase the budget. That
- 9:00is how you scale an account. The real
- 9:03definition of success isn't vanity
- 9:05metrics like ROAS or CTR or hook rate.
- 9:08It's being able to say yes to the one
- 9:10simple question of can I spend more
- 9:13money tomorrow? If the answer is yes,
- 9:15you're winning. If the answer is no, you
- 9:18do what we talked about here in this
- 9:19video until you get back to a yes. You
- 9:22don't try to hack your way to the next
- 9:24win. You make Andromeda your sales team.
- 9:26You make Meta work for you, not the
- 9:28other way around. And if you want to
- 9:30know exactly how to take this system and
- 9:32scale to the moon, that's exactly what
- 9:35I'll show you in this next video.
