2. 0:06beat your ass xoxo happy i was talking about how  my daughter's come 3000 miles to do three steps
3. 0:13and be lucky she's doing those three steps i don't  know how much people think i can take i didn't
4. 0:18think there should be blood on that dance floor  blood on that stage it's hard to watch your kids
5. 0:32on stage and think it's the last time you're gonna  watch some dance i just don't want to come back
6. 0:38coming up on dance moms i want you to be the  first to know that i'm gonna hold an audition i'm
7. 0:43replacing brook and paige come hella high water  i'm getting kelly back here can you tell me that
8. 0:48i have a brilliant idea yeah yeah idea kendall is  going to be doing a solo this weekend what's wrong
9. 0:58oh he kept feeling at me you go back to l.a if  that's what you want because we can't compete
10. 1:03with that here you cannot be a national title  holder and run off the stage because you forgot
11. 1:08your dance there will be none of that this  season year after year her kid won a title
12. 1:14now she all over that title hit the road  jack there's always another kid my world is
13. 1:44it's the first week back after our  long break and i think all the girls
14. 1:47are really excited to be back they came  off such an amazing win at nationals
15. 1:51and i think they're excited to show abby that  they've improved hi sweetie how are you we all
16. 1:56showed up for dance today and kelly's not in  the driveway it's like our team is not whole
17. 2:07yeah it really screams hip-hop  look look at this look at this part
18. 2:16all right
19. 2:27i am not doing a pyramid right  now how dare kelly do this to me
20. 2:32i've had it there's not enough people to do a  pyramid i have to go back to the drawing board
21. 2:37no pyramid i'm angry at the people  that aren't here i'm very disappointed
22. 2:45but i'm also angry at the people that are here who  had six group numbers some of you know two of them
23. 2:51some of you know one of them that's not gonna  be a winning number after nationals there was a
24. 2:56break in the competition season while i was gone  shooting my show in los angeles i arranged for
25. 3:01some guest choreographers to come into my studio  to have routines that are already ready to go but
26. 3:07then i learned from my staff that nobody showed  up last season you all had two solos ready to go
27. 3:15before we ever started our competition season i  didn't find out that people weren't here until
28. 3:21the choreographers called me and say hey it was  kind of hard to get a great number together when
29. 3:25only two kids were there that makes me look bad  do these kids really think that you win an overall
30. 3:32national title and then you don't take class  anymore really you're only as good as your last
31. 3:39performance the break is the time that you set new  goals you overcome new obstacles and you improve
32. 3:54no pyramid but abby how can you throw away all  that they worked for last year like this girls
33. 4:06no pyramid this weekend we will be traveling  to denver colorado to attend intensity dance
34. 4:14i want you to be the first to know that i'm going  to hold an audition i'm replacing brook and paige
35. 4:20and you will be nice and wonderful  and kind to whoever the two people are
36. 4:25abby not only is screaming at our kids that  they missed a few days of dance class for
37. 4:30family vacation but it's also our fault that  kelly brook and paige aren't here maybe i
38. 4:34had to rip your pyramid down throw it in the  dumpster because it won't fit in the trash can
39. 4:39okay so every minute that you have over the next  two weeks you better be working on these numbers
40. 4:46chloe put your hand down oh god please put your  hand down chloe you were at the top of the pyramid
41. 4:52you were the national winner it's the first  week out you should be doing a solo you should
42. 4:57be defending that title but i don't know if i'm  gonna even do solos yeah way to go khloe like
43. 5:03don't make eye contact raise your hand and ask her  questions like try to follow the back of the pack
44. 5:08mackenzie's the only smart one she's like i'm  little and i'm standing behind everyone don't
45. 5:12ask me about the solos again i don't know what i'm  doing everybody's probably wondering how i'm going
46. 5:17to assign routines this week my focus is going  to be the group i need to get the group routine
47. 5:23underway before i give any thought to who's doing  a solo or duet or trio this is the group routine
48. 5:30and you and you and paige were demons  and you and you and brooke were angels
49. 5:37so now chloe's the angel and you're all demons  see how people not showing up affected you
50. 5:46i love how abby's like oh she's not coming back  ever oh no one will treat me this way in my studio
51. 5:55and get away with it no kelly didn't show up you  didn't kick her out kelly is not gonna crawl back
52. 6:00no no she's not gonna do that she said she's not  i really do believe she's not i'm falling back
53. 6:06five six seven and pk through look down down up  pretty the group routine this week is angel and
54. 6:17demons it's about an angel who's being torn apart  inside by the demons one watch your arms watch
55. 6:24your arms she wants to let them out but then  again she wants to hide them from everyone run
56. 6:30run so take through run so you're cutting too soon  you're there before they get there and you are
57. 6:40forgetting what to do you're like blanking on me  you and you're not getting around her fast enough
58. 6:46you should be around her before she's out on the  floor wait can i just say one more thing about the
59. 6:50pyramid my child is the only one here who's never  been at the top of the pyramid you guys realize
60. 6:54that oh really so i know you don't give it any  clout but i would really like for some day for
61. 7:02her to have that goal and i really was hoping she  would say that look i want to get it to the top
62. 7:06of that pyramid because they can my goal is to get  kendall at the top of the pyramid and according to
63. 7:12abby it's not always your placement in how you do  in a group meaning you don't always have to win to
64. 7:19be at the top of the pyramid i'm holding an open  audition i'm gonna look at every kid and you know
65. 7:26that i don't take kids from other studios and  just stick them out there that's ridiculous i
66. 7:31wanted to be somebody from my own studio but  you know what i don't really care anymore
67. 7:37i hope they're 10 times better than  paige and brooke let's go turn around
68. 7:50we started planning this audition while  i was still in l.a there was a line
69. 7:53around the building and down  the block come on come on
70. 8:01all right anybody from michigan ohio new orleans  there's always that fear in the back of your mind
71. 8:12that what if she finds someone that she  thinks is better cuter more talented than
72. 8:17any one of our kids i mean i would hate for  kendall to be replaced who would like to be
73. 8:23on this particular team of the avili dance company  okay i have two spots all right let's do it
74. 8:34all right girls up you guys right there no the  talent in the studio right now is blowing me away
75. 8:41wow i have never seen this many talented kids
76. 8:46all in one place together at one  time oh maybe we have brock i think
77. 8:57ready let's do it
78. 9:02okay i'm gonna keep you you of course i'm  looking for somebody that fits in with the group
79. 9:08but i'm also looking for beautiful legs  gorgeous feet excellent flexibility and
80. 9:15a great ability to comprehend quickly that is  key when you have to do a new competition routine
81. 9:21every single week i'm gonna let you go where are  you from ohio you're gone you jump in there it's
82. 9:26kind of interesting sitting in the viewing room  watching these moms it's almost like the moms
83. 9:33were competing as well as their kids these moms  are crazy hey leslie yeah i do have something i
84. 9:40wanted to ask you about why did you tell her  i said leave our kids in la with their hand
85. 9:45okay i'm sorry i have to get this i felt like  it i don't have to answer you're the rudest
86. 9:50woman i know like really nobody  even asked me to are you kidding me
87. 9:54you were chaperoning you're a nobody why  are you even here i do not abandon you
88. 10:01go back and drive your path box next group
89. 10:09ariel walk over you're just looking  better all the time over there purple
90. 10:14next group where's enough talent during this  open call that abby could easily make another
91. 10:20team or two i see it i'm sure the other moms see  it i think everyone's feeling a little pressured
92. 10:26like hmm is happy to get any  bright ideas and maybe replace
93. 10:29all the girls congratulations these are  our finalists give them a round of applause
94. 10:35my biggest concern about abby bringing someone  new into the team is you know these girls are
95. 10:39all tall they're at least six eight inches taller  than our girls so it's kind of gonna look odd as
96. 10:45a group number so this girl is gonna have to be  featured in every single dance congratulations
97. 10:53i'm a little overwhelmed i have a lot to  think about i will have to decide who will
98. 10:59be here in rehearsal tomorrow and going to denver  colorado this weekend to compete with our groups
99. 11:06but you never know there's some kids  on thin ice it's not over tonight
100. 11:21ah have you guys thought what you wanted to do  about dance no not really my mom pulled me and
101. 11:27paige out of dance because abby's really mean to  my sister and she also doesn't get along with my
102. 11:36mom we need to decide what we want to do i don't  even know if i want to dance people what do you
103. 11:41want to do tell me what you want to do i'm going  to do dancing but i also want to like model i
104. 11:46would have never been able to take you to do that  modeling if we weren't already in la for dance and
105. 11:51that's why you got to do the song like it all goes  together i think the real question is do you want
106. 11:58to go back no i don't want to go back i'm just  done with abby torturing me and my kids i mean
107. 12:04this is supposed to be fun and i think my kids  were starting to not enjoy being there and i just
108. 12:11i'm not going to put my kids in an environment  that i don't think is safe and healthy for them
109. 12:16follow change one straight bottom leg up hello  kendall is going to be doing a solo this weekend
110. 12:26that's great and i'm going to start it today i  think she's going to do it well i just feel good
111. 12:30to have a good season and that you have learned  by stepping back and watching i think after
112. 12:36seeing some of those kids that auditioned i  know she should be inspired she will be yes
113. 12:41absolutely abby gives kendall the  very first solo of the season and
114. 12:46i said to her it's like the first gift of  christmas all right kendall has a solo yeah
115. 12:54thank you hi all right i worked on some  music and i gave some thought to who was here
116. 13:04and who did what they were supposed to do  and i am going to start a solo with kendall
117. 13:12it's called it girl you need to get yourself  ready that's what i'm going to start with
118. 13:16i want everyone else working on the group routine  so abby what did you think of the talent and
119. 13:20who'd you pick i'm not telling either you did  choose one or two i narrowed the decision down
120. 13:27there are a lot of talented kids with amazing feet  beautiful legs lines but it's only been a short
121. 13:34period of time since kelly hasn't shown up to  the damn studio why do we have this need to fill
122. 13:40paige and brooke's spot work with what you got  boyfriend i've been working with what i got for
123. 13:4639 weeks now it would have been easier to cast  a whole new group than to find somebody to fit
124. 13:51in with them those kids last night were  dancing for their lives abby would you
125. 13:55put the new person would you give them  a solo over the other kids in the group
126. 14:02yes and would this new person start out  on probation like kendall did last year
127. 14:10i don't understand why the mothers  don't understand this i don't want
128. 14:14their children looking any less than they did  winning the national championship i'm doing
129. 14:21it to protect their children this is called  it girl the music's a little bit different
130. 14:26so it's sassy and it's fast and it's fun the  music talks about a sassy swanky fun-loving
131. 14:34it girl somebody who's ahead of her time  and that's kendall ball change up up
132. 14:40i'm really excited that kendall has a solo you  know what this is kendall's year to get something
133. 14:47what did i tell you ten times don't step  in front of yourself you can see how pigeon
134. 14:52turned you are step to the left i feel like i'm  dealing with a five-year-old why are you not
135. 14:57continuing the turn and roll to the floor and  leap over your hand it's the same thing do it
136. 15:02she's screaming when i received reports  from my faculty during the break i kept
137. 15:07hearing about kendall she was always there  she was working really hard and i thought wow
138. 15:13kendall is going to be a force to be reckoned  with this season and i made the routine difficult
139. 15:21really kendall kendall you know what you're done
140. 15:25the people that were in here dancing are a  thousand times better than you go somewhere
141. 15:30else and work on it there's nothing like working  with abby you almost have to get your heart and
142. 15:35your mind in a certain mode to be able to work  with abby oh she's crying i know what's wrong

144. 15:48what were you working on and i didn't hear her  and she yelled at me joe i don't know what's
145. 15:55going on but i don't either i have an empty  room and i have 30 kids shoved into studio b
146. 16:01practicing i just gave you a combination and  you couldn't remember it two seconds later
147. 16:07that's not kendall time's up
148. 16:14okay that's what we mean she keeps being amazing  a kid who's the only one that got a solo shouldn't
149. 16:19be up there crying she's right you shouldn't  be crying however you are i am this crying kid
150. 16:27she's nine years old and she's sitting upstairs  on her mother's lap crying what is going on with
151. 16:34your kid no abby but you can wait a minute i can  say whatever i want well then you can't expect
152. 16:40her to perform for you triple coupee that she  used to do that we worked on to the devil pay
153. 16:46to the inside of her basket she couldn't do  it she to remember what she just did then she
154. 16:50goes upstairs and is crying like a baby or she's  crying because she told me how her feelings were
155. 16:56hurt oh you know what i gave it to her she had  the time all right that was it all right i can't
156. 17:02you know what we can't compete i'm pissed off at  abby because kendall still has all that fire in
157. 17:08her belly and all that potential and i need abby  to see that again my goal is to get kendall at
158. 17:13the top of the pyramid and i want kendall to be  a star we can't compete with that here next next

160. 17:31all right let's do it come on oh my god it's  hot as heck okay i don't know i'm afraid
161. 17:38of what we have to deal with and what our girls  have to deal with for this competition season
162. 17:43it's not just a regular old abbey it's like the  inflated egotistical abby here's the problem
163. 17:50it's the inflated egotistical i can have  any kid out there i want because look
164. 17:53they come to my house she's right you're she's a  lefty let's right hi new moms okay bring him in
165. 18:04hello hi how are you i'm great how are  you hi hello does anybody have a nail
166. 18:11file should we get our cat claws ready  if i go with you i have a 10 year old
167. 18:18to keep my age down if i go with you then i  can win in the 13 to 15 division i called back
168. 18:25two dancers from the audition ally and ava  originally i was replacing brooke and paige
169. 18:31but after closer consideration i decided just  to go with one dancer posse and just devil pap
170. 18:40i like ava i think she's a really pretty  little girl and i think she's fabulous for
171. 18:45only being 10 years old but she hasn't ever  signed ariel yet i need a kid that can tumble
172. 18:51as well as dance okay um whatever happens today  i don't want you to take it as the gospel two
173. 18:58weeks can go by and we could call somebody back in  right okay and by then you may have your side area
174. 19:04yes so i'm gonna tell you that today is not  your day all right and you're gonna go to
175. 19:09denver with us all right i'm allie i'm 13 years  old this is a big opportunity and i mean i just
176. 19:17don't want to screw it up congratulations  thank you ali is a special dancer she is
177. 19:23gorgeous to look at her technique is flawless  and she's over 12. that's what i'm looking for
178. 19:34here we are another competition season huh since  nationals in la where we encountered abby lee
179. 19:42my special teams kind of blew up so i am looking  for a total new package justice system coming back
180. 19:50if tanya doesn't want to participate at candy  apple's dance center then we don't need her
181. 19:54we don't need justice team kind of fell  apart on us didn't it do you miss justice
182. 20:03do you miss him a little bit yeah if i did  something like really crazy i'm here look at me
183. 20:13feel my eyes slow down if i did something really  crazy and went out and did a whole different team
184. 20:22would you be okay if you weren't on the team or  now i mean you know yeah do you think that it
185. 20:29would be a good idea if i used all boys  oh no you have chocolate on your teeth
186. 20:37ew ew let me see open up okay it's gone now it's  underneath my fingernail i think an all-boy team
187. 20:47will win a lot would win a lot yeah i think you're  right honey i think that mommy's idea is brilliant
188. 20:53can you tell me that i have a brilliant idea you  know how i'd love to hear that kind of brilliant
189. 20:57idea we're going to start working right now this  is the group number and i'm just tipping you off
190. 21:07chloe was my lead in the group  number and now it's going to be you
191. 21:11so i'm sure chloe's mother's going to  hate you but oh well it was overwhelming
192. 21:17because it was it was also new and you know  of course there's always anxiety when you
193. 21:21haven't danced with a team before especially  a team that was so seasoned and and had been
194. 21:26together so long so we're gonna start you over  here originally chloe had the lead as the angel
195. 21:33but now chloe is not the tallest member of the  group so i'm going with the tall member and
196. 21:38that's allie this was brooks and it's so little  i want to see if it fits you if it looks stupid
197. 21:46that's cute turn back around i felt really bad  because abby switched me out with chloe's part
198. 21:51because i didn't want to just come in and like  take her spot because she's been here for a long
199. 21:56time who are you i am allie's mom oh my god no  one introduced me here's holly shelley nice to
200. 22:02meet you yes shelly and that's allie oh okay what  is she working on i i really don't i really don't
201. 22:10know one two three four smile one looks like she's  learning a solo i don't know break into a big
202. 22:19lunge down i don't know if this is so much a solo  or is it private i don't think it's surprising
203. 22:27it's like chloe's part in a group hey as  ally's executing the dance movements it becomes
204. 22:35really apparent that she is not a demon she  is an angel because she's doing chloe's part
205. 22:41it's our featured part it's the part in the  group dance oh my gosh chrissy's gonna freak
206. 22:47because chloe's been talking non-stop  about she's happy and she said to miss
207. 22:51abby yesterday remember she goes am i still  going to have my part that's exactly right
208. 22:55she did excuse me just one minute okay abby's  not that noble to pick ally because i think she
209. 23:04she believes that ali's at that superior of  a dancer i think abby selects ally to do that
210. 23:10part because she's getting back at chloe for  missing part of her booty camp during break
211. 23:19this is the new girl's mom let's not tell her  what and let's just see if she figures it out
212. 23:26oh she's learning the group uh-huh but yeah and  no keep watching though she's doing chloe's part
213. 23:32isn't it there you go that's it i think christy  is going to be so disappointed i feel that this
214. 23:40was abby's way of teaching chloe a lesson  don't stay away from the studio for three
215. 23:45months don't go on family vacations nonstop and  and come to class pk go pk coupe pk coupe soutenu

217. 24:04oh does she have a solo um no not so much the  new girl no it's the group dance she's learning
218. 24:11why is she doing chloe's part uh huh  chloe's your national title winner and
219. 24:16she's been here since she was two you know  you talk about these girls missing three
220. 24:20days for a vacation well ali's missed 13  years you guys have summer scholarships hi
221. 24:25hi we meet again hi hi i had the opportunity to  meet the moms and um you know it was it was you
222. 24:36know scary at first because i'm not from here i'm  not from pittsburgh um i'm i'm from new orleans i
223. 24:42really don't know anyone so it was a little i  was i was timid at first i have to say i don't
224. 24:48approve nothing against i know there's nothing  you can do we we all do what we're told but
225. 24:55you know khloe worked hard they all worked hard  and they've danced here their whole lives yeah i i
226. 25:02mean i i i can understand that it's understandable  i'm sorry you know what shelley if you feel so bad
227. 25:10why don't you put your money where your mouth  is and go down and say something to abby like
228. 25:13you know it's not right to take the lead away  from a child who's been here since she was two
229. 25:19chloe the name of your music is nobody's perfect  and that means even though you won that national
230. 25:25title i didn't think your performance was perfect  you need to work on bringing that back leg down
231. 25:30straighter don't bend it and pull it through  you need to be just as good as you were then
232. 25:36chloe should have a solo of course she is the  reigning national champion she needs to hold on
233. 25:42to that title she needs to move forward  she needs to get better it's a mistake
234. 25:54and lipstick chloe you are the  national title holder you have
235. 26:02two more days to fix this combination  do you understand that two days and
236. 26:07you're in denver and everybody in the whole  country knows that you're the national winner
237. 26:12you're either gonna look better than you  did or you rested on your laurels and you
238. 26:17think you don't have to work anymore because  you already won it's up to you go get maddie
239. 26:30i'm warning you up front you cry today you're  finished no solos got it drop over come up
240. 26:38peace i give maddie a solo because maddie  had the best attendance over the break
241. 26:48okay you're a little early you have time for  a double compass i think maddie was definitely
242. 26:53a little threatened so now that ali's on  the team you know tensions are starting to
243. 26:59you know it's starting already first competition  as we go on i want to get a little more difficult
244. 27:05i want it to be more mature you have two  more days that's all you have and i want
245. 27:09you to get a copy of the music jonah so listen  to the words listen to the story it's beautiful

247. 27:26now remember mckenzie you have come a long  way kiddo you were just a dumb little kid
248. 27:33doing your little thing with a big sister  who was amazing now you have a national title
249. 27:40mckenzie has a solo this week too it's  called goody goody it's sassy it's cute
250. 27:45it's age-appropriate we're good we're good good  good look good do the walks big big really you're
251. 27:54looking down at the floor you need to look up in  the air these two walks are really bad you need
252. 28:00to be like sassy and really swing your head when  you're upstage last year at the end of the season
253. 28:05when you won your title you were hitting more than  a split now you're barely in a split understand
254. 28:12that's what i'm talking about about the end of  the season you were up here and now you're like
255. 28:17look right up there okay choreography for this  dance is hard and it makes me a little nervous
256. 28:24i just told your moms this whole story  now i'm gonna tell you real quick
257. 28:29you are not at the level you were on last  season when you won the national championship
258. 28:35you won a title you won a title rook  won a title and you haven't stepped
259. 28:42on a stage in how many weeks and now you're  gonna go all the way to denver and perform
260. 28:48really i'm crazy i think i'm crazy so you're gonna  do this number for me and if it's not perfect
261. 28:54i will pull all the demons and allie you  will do the angel part as a cello understood
262. 29:02that means you won't be dancing at all she cannot  possibly be seriously considering scrapping
263. 29:08the group number and putting someone who just  walked in off the street and giving her a solo
264. 29:13that's outrageous that means my child will have  nothing to do during this dance competition
265. 29:23so if we don't do this group dance that  means mia's not dancing no that's wrong
266. 29:30her name is abby lee miller she  has wrong as her middle name
267. 29:39get up i'm gonna give you a hug that was great  allie just did the number as a solo the group
268. 29:44number oh we're worried that she's taking  everybody out of the dance and just putting
269. 29:47your daughter as a solo oh gosh i hope that  doesn't mean yeah it won't be dancing at all at
270. 29:52this point we're getting really close to going to  competition and i don't want to waste my time when
271. 29:56i know as much as i hate to do it i'm going to  have to go downstairs and talk to abby about this
272. 30:02abby what i don't want to go all across the  country to have my child not dance in a group
273. 30:09or a solo suddenly holly really cares i mean  she doesn't want to go all the way to denver
274. 30:16if nia doesn't have a solo well you know what  too bad you're part of the team and this is
275. 30:21what we're doing don't get bitching and playing  when your kids don't even know that they should
276. 30:25have been your training abby you're not god  i'm just honestly what are you doing in here
277. 30:32in the group's ants or not that's all i'm  asking the last time abby pulled the stunt
278. 30:37nia did not dance in the group number if  she's going to denver i am expecting that
279. 30:42she's going to do the group member  i don't know if that's gonna happen
280. 30:55this is one of my favorite places ever since i was  a kid hello wow yeah okay can i get uh a dozen of
281. 31:04these to go in a box with without ali came onto  this competition team in a whirlwind her and her
282. 31:10mom haven't even had time to adjust to living  in pittsburgh i want to get to know them better
283. 31:16and see what they're all about what do you think  of the moms all together i mean they've been nice
284. 31:21you know they're very honest you know very  um forthcoming but they've been they've been
285. 31:26well they think you're a big dance mom i'm  not and you're just being sweet and nice and
286. 31:32yeah that you don't want to make waves and blah  blah blah blah blah and i'm like now i don't know
287. 31:37because you know you have an older child so you've  been through all this yeah shelly has an older
288. 31:41daughter who danced competitively for years she's  been through all the hoops before i don't think
289. 31:48these mothers are going to intimidate her at all  so she's really excited about dancing this weekend
290. 31:55i'm nervous i hope pally you know she's never had  the two-day challenge before so i'm hoping she
291. 32:00stands up to it but um what should  i expect my biggest advice to you
292. 32:06never let them see your sweat
293. 32:10never let them see you cry because  you're vulnerable think before you speak
294. 32:15and whatever you say it's a statement you know put  a period on the end of it don't let them come down
295. 32:21on you and talk about you and this and that they  have driven away more customers nip it in the back
296. 32:39oh criminy the team is certainly not ready to  go to denver i think the group dance could be
297. 32:48good if they know it or it could be a mess  if they screw it up all eyes will be on ali
298. 32:58she's going to look stunning and hopefully  the judges won't take their eyes off of her
299. 33:03oh my goodness oh finally we have a dance studio  all right girls remember you are the national
300. 33:16champions so on your best behavior i don't  want to see any of that baby bratty crying
301. 33:21got it i'm serious i'm nervous i'm gonna forget  my dance let's go let's go let's go come on
302. 33:29abby our solos first solos are first well since  solos are first did you make um can we get some
