  7. 0:22they have and they've characterized it
  8. 0:24and spun it in in a way that they uh
  9. 0:27want to do it without any test of it
  10. 0:30without any due process guarantees for
  11. 0:34uh uh confrontation of witnesses testing
  12. 0:37Witnesses memories and so
  13. 0:39forth when they charged uh Lance and
  14. 0:45five others with
  15. 0:48uh oh charges or allegations that go
  16. 0:50back 17 years when their own statute of
  17. 0:54limitations and the international
  18. 0:56statute and the world anti-doping code
  19. 0:59statute
  20. 1:00says that you cannot go back further
  21. 1:02than 8 years well we knew it was unfair
  22. 1:05the outcome was predetermined we know
  23. 1:09that since the mid 2000s that uh the
  24. 1:13president of wat's and the usada people
  25. 1:17have been out to get Lance and uh even
  26. 1:20Floyd Landis in
  27. 1:232006 when he was uh uh caught
  28. 1:27cheating uh by a a drug test
  29. 1:30he uh in his book wrote about how Yad
  30. 1:33had approached him and said theyd let
  31. 1:35him off the hook if he would turn over
  32. 1:38Armstrong our reaction uh was one of not
  33. 1:43surprise what they call a reasoned
  34. 1:46decision is neither reason or nor a
  35. 1:50decision they what they what usada has
  36. 1:54done has uh they have characterized the
  37. 1:59evidence and testimony that they think
  38. 2:02they have and they've characterized it
  39. 2:03and spun it in in a way that they want
  40. 2:07to do it without any testing of it

  50. 2:39statute says that you cannot go back
  51. 2:42further than eight years well we knew it
  52. 2:45was unfair the outcome was predetermined
  53. 2:47we know that since the mid 2000s that uh
  54. 2:53the president of watas and the usada
  55. 2:57people have been out to get Lance and
  56. 2:59and uh even Floyd Landis in
  57. 3:032006 when he was uh uh caught
  58. 3:07cheating uh by a a drug test he uh in
  59. 3:12his book wrote about how usad had
  60. 3:14approached him and said they let him off
  61. 3:15the hook if he would turn over Armstrong
