0:40that so I think I just became one it's
0:42true you know yeah today's going to be
0:44an amazing day there's no one better to
0:46be than myself it's true my feelings
0:49matter yeah I get better every single
0:53day listen if your kids are having a bad
0:56day the Affirmation song is great it is
0:58it it gets them pumped up for the day
1:00does and I dance silly to it and I think
1:02that's the the funnest part sometimes
1:04you know it's hard to go to school
1:05sometimes cuz when especially when your
1:07parents are so [ __ ] awesome I know
1:09and your auntie you know like me and
1:10John so like you don't want to leave
1:12them they just want to hang so they just
1:14didn't want to leave but we did the
1:15Affirmation song got him laughing and
1:17got him ready for the day and I did sick
1:19breeds today on them it's true well on
1:21one of them yeah I was pretty excited
1:22about that is true it is true we have a
1:25cute little fan bam it gives it gives
1:27full full Housewives here in the morning
1:30I'm just like Uncle Joey over here it's
1:32true it's like a combin maybe a
1:33combination of Uncle Jesse and Uncle
1:35Joey yeah you know my Gemini nature I
1:38like that I don't know just ranting over
1:40here we did yoga this morning we really
1:42grounded ourselves we really did it was
1:44so nice I know we're getting back I
1:46think like spring is coming so I feel
1:48like we can get back into the swing of
1:50like I really fell out of my workout
1:52routine in the winter well it was so
1:54nice driving today and not having it be
1:56pitch black it was getting lighter it
1:58was like 5 :0 probably when I left the
2:01house and it was already light out yeah
2:03which was sick and then on my way home
2:05today on my way see I said to myself
2:08this is why you got to wake up early CU
2:09you just don't know what's going on
2:11around you you don't know what you're
2:12going to run into you just don't know
2:13this morning I'm coming back for my yoga
2:15class and I passed a farm and there was
2:20cows that like escaped this farm and
2:22they were on the front lawn of the
2:24neighborhood I love this so much and
2:27there's just a cop like standing on this
2:29guy's front lack and him like what's a
2:31cop going to do about a cow he just he
2:34beened he's been trained in the matter
2:37is that he's been trained in Bine
2:39matters is that did they tell you what
2:41to do if a Bine escapes I don't know
2:44possibly that's crazy that's crazy it
2:47was so funny I was laughing so hard I
2:49was like cry laughing by myself I love
2:52it I think it's very small town uh Vibes
2:56it really was I was like am I am I just
2:58in the midwest all am I where am I it
3:01was cute though cows are crossing the
3:02road just like three big ass cows just
3:05in somebody's front lawn hell yeah I'd
3:07be pissed if that was my friend lawn
3:09yeah I I feel like they'd [ __ ] up your
3:10lawn real bad I would kind of love it
3:12though I would love it but then
3:14afterwards I feel like I'd be like yeah
3:17but honestly their manure is some of the
3:20best soil that's true but not want to
3:25leave that on my yard cuz that' be big
3:28sank stinky it's very true you know look
3:31at you looking to the bright side you're
3:32all grounded and [ __ ] I am I'm very
3:34grounded I love that I had a good coffee
3:37that's good I had a great coffee there's
3:39cool things happening yes but um I think
3:42you'll know about them by now yeah I
3:44think I'm going to stop teasing these
3:46things because um I'm so confused about
3:49what episodes come out when it'd be
3:50super dope if we could just like put
3:52them out when we wanted to just like
3:53don't know where or when these come out
3:56and I apologize for that um we won't be
4:00confused forever uh but it's right now I
4:04just don't know if what episode is
4:06coming out so if if it are if the bonus
4:08episode already happened was wasn't that

4:40oh God yep all right well we we yoga we
4:43cowed we Jesus was a biscuit we did all
4:46all the important things yeah we have
4:47for made yeah and now we're going to
4:49talk about a wild Survivor tale that I
4:54think is probably one of our most
4:56requested yes cases it is
5:00this is a doozy this is a doozy of a
5:04case and a doozy of a human I mean in
5:08the best way I don't think there's a
5:10single person more resilient Bionic
5:13Woman yeah truly unbelievable tale yeah
5:17so this is wild let's get into it we're
5:19going to be talking about Alice and
5:20Botha today Alice and Botha she was born
5:23September 22nd 1967 in Port Elizabeth
5:27South Africa to Brian and Claire colier
5:30or Kier according to Allison her house
5:33growing up was a place of unconditional
5:35love which she got from both of her
5:36parents she said often as we were
5:38growing up I love this my mother would
5:41take us aside and tell us how special we
5:42were she would always add though that
5:44this did not mean that we were above or
5:46better than others but we had our own
5:48inner value oh my God I love that I'm
5:51going to do that [ __ ] when I have kids
5:52it's like take your child decide just to
5:54be like I love that like you're so
5:57special yeah but like you're you're not
5:59above anybody or not like more special
6:01than somebody else but you are like I
6:03love that that's great sadly despite the
6:06love and support and the happy household
6:07that they had 10 years after Allison was
6:10born Brian and Claire uh did end up
6:12divorcing it was about 1977 when the
6:14divorce was finalized and Allison and
6:17her brother Neil continued living with
6:19their mom but luckily they still saw
6:20their dad on a pretty regular schedule
6:22oh good the divorce obviously created a
6:25pretty like less than ideal situation to
6:27raise two kids but it's on like Brian
6:30and Claire really made the best of it
6:32they made sure that Allison and Neil
6:33always had what they needed and were
6:35always thriving good for them yeah very
6:37mature Allison led a pretty normal life
6:40in Port Elizabeth where she went to
6:42Collegiate High School uh during her
6:44senior year in 1985 she was named head
6:46girl which is an honor that kind of came
6:48as a shock for her she did not expect
6:50this at all damn she said I was always
6:53considered bright but I knew I did not
6:55apply myself to the fullest in my last
6:56few years at school I wasn't good at any
6:59sport and I didn't really shine in any
7:00one area so I guess I thought I wouldn't
7:03be good enough to be a head girl damn
7:05but whether she realized it or not the
7:07teachers and the head mistress at the
7:08col at Collegiate High School thought
7:10very highly of her yeah they described
7:13her as a mature young woman of the
7:15utmost integrity and sound moral
7:17values like the the term head girl just
7:21it makes me think of like Harry Potter
7:22yes and uh it's that it just sounds so
7:25prestigious that I can't fully
7:27comprehend it it does like I want to be
7:28head girl I think imagine being head per
7:31anything yeah at in school like wow
7:35that's like really really impressive
7:37yeah that [ __ ] did not happen for me I
7:39made you head [ __ ] in charge at my
7:41wedding you did that's true yeah so I
7:43got to do that instead of Made of Honor
7:44I said head [ __ ] in charge hell yeah
7:46well when Allison graduated from high
7:48school she felt that the honor she'
7:49earned in her final year gave everybody
7:51this impression that she was a high
7:53achiever and would continue her
7:55education and P pursue a very impressive
7:57career but she said the truth was I had
7:59no idea what I wanted to do with my life
8:01which I feel like a lot of people feel
8:03that way when high school is over like
8:05it's really not like that's not unheard
8:07of at all no you're 18 years old like
8:10most of the time you have you're still a
8:12baby and there's so many options at your
8:14fingertips I feel like people are like
8:16expect you to have like exactly what you
8:18want to do figured out and for a lot of
8:20people that's just not the case yeah for
8:22sure when she was younger Allison had
8:24always dreamed of becoming a writer or
8:25maybe a poet but now that she was in a
8:27position to pursue whatever goal she
8:29wanted she just couldn't figure out
8:31which direction to go in well cuz it it
8:33really can feel like the whole world is
8:35your oyster yeah like you know you mean
8:37like when you're that young and you're
8:38just like start you like I can choose
8:40anything which is awesome how do I
8:42narrow it down too many options it's
8:44awesome but exactly it's overwhelming
8:46it's a great problem to have yeah well
8:48as always Claire supported her daughter
8:50suggesting that she just take a
8:51secretarial course while she considered
8:53some of her options and she said if
8:55nothing else you'll learn some new
8:56skills that will apply with whatever you
8:58do for sure and it turned out that that
9:00course was a really good decision for
9:01Allison's future career because when she
9:03finished it up she took a job as an
9:05insurance broker a job she enjoyed and
9:08was really good at although she hadn't
9:10pursued a high stress career as like a
9:12doctor or lawyer as several of her
9:14teachers and classmates thought that she
9:15might by the time she reached her mid
9:1720s she was building a respectable
9:19career for herself and she was really
9:21happy good for her so she was like
9:23living her best life she just she was
9:24just going for it yeah well on the
9:27afternoon of December 18th 199 4 Allison
9:30met up with her friend Kim and Kim's son
9:32Devon and Jared for just an evening on
9:34the beach in Port Elizabeth just like a
9:36nice little friend hangout H they hung
9:38out at the beach for a little while and
9:40then they went back to Kim's apartment
9:41that night and they were joined by their
9:43mutual friends Phil and Richard who just
9:45stopped by unannounced and Allison said
9:47it had been one of those wonderfully
9:49spontaneous evenings a which I love I
9:52love that they chatted for a while they
9:54enjoyed the nice weather and then they
9:55decided to go to Allison's apartment
9:57where they ordered a pizza and played a
9:58board game just like cute little night
10:01friends being dudes sounds like a fun
10:02night to me yeah when the night finally
10:05came to an end a little after midnight
10:06Phil and Richard left and Allison had
10:08promised Kim that she would drive her
10:09home that night so she was driving Kim
10:12back to her apartment and then she got
10:14back to her own house a little after or
10:16a little before excuse me 1: in the
10:17morning mhm she circled the block a few
10:20times looking for a place to park and
10:22the place where she usually parked
10:24wasn't open which was like very close to
10:26the apartment she finally spotted an
10:28open space just just a few dozen feet
10:30from her front door now the neighborhood
10:32that she lived in wasn't like a rough
10:34area but the spot was further from her
10:36apartment than she preferred yeah and it
10:38was in a dark part of the street there
10:40was like a tree covering the lights I
10:42hate that you have to worry about this
10:43yeah you shouldn't have to worry about
10:44that at all so she hesitated for a few
10:47seconds and was like maybe I should find
10:49something better but she was like
10:50whatever like I I she really wanted to
10:52go in and take a shower yeah you just
10:53want to go to your house yeah so she
10:55pulled in the spot put her car into park
10:57she said later I adjust turned off the
10:59engine and flicked off the headlights it
11:01was so routine I did it all in one swift
11:03movement before opening the driver side
11:05door she reached over to the passenger
11:07seat to gather up a pile of clean
11:09laundry and she suddenly felt a gust of
11:12warm air rush into the car as somebody
11:14opened the door holy [ __ ] she looked up
11:17just in time to see what she described
11:18as a scrawny tallish young man with
11:20light blonde hair just push his head
11:22into her car no she also noticed a long
11:26thin knife in his hand I hate this he
11:29immediately put the blade up to her
11:31throat and said move over or I'll kill
11:34you and she said his voice was quiet and
11:37controlled she had never seen him before
11:39but he seemed to know exactly what he
11:41was doing so she just without thinking
11:43slid over to the passenger seat and he
11:45got in behind the wheel that's
11:47horrifying which I feel like she did the
11:49best thing you could in that situation
11:50you have to try to be as calm as
11:52possible what are you supposed to do
11:54he's got a knife to your throat like I
11:56don't know what I would do I don't
11:57either so as he drove he kept the knife
12:00close on the seat next to him close to
12:02the door he fumbled with the dashboard
12:04trying to find the control for the
12:05lights and then asked her how to turn
12:07them on and told her don't worry I don't
12:09want to hurt you I just want to use your
12:11car for about an hour I feel like then
12:14and I'm I'm not saying I would do this
12:15I'm saying like when he says something
12:18like that you just want to be like then
12:19take the car yeah like why do I have to
12:20be car why do I have to be here you just
12:22have it well you can take it for more
12:23than an hour she basically said that I
12:25was going to say I'm sure she was just
12:26like you can take this yeah eventually
12:28she said that but at when he said it she
12:30was so confused and also completely
12:32terrified this is a horrifying situation
12:34I can't even fathom your brain working
12:36in that situation no way so she just
12:38didn't say anything she was just sitting
12:40there like stunned and she contemplated
12:42opening the passenger door door and
12:44jumping out but she said she felt
12:45strangely immobilized and just couldn't
12:47bring herself to do or say anything of
12:49course now they had him been driving
12:52long when he broke the silence and said
12:53you live in number one don't you so he
12:56knew exactly where she lived what the
12:58[ __ ] and she said it was less of a
12:59question than a statement like he was
13:01clearly letting her know that he'd been
13:03watching her and like oh I know you live
13:05here knew exactly where she horrifying
13:07he asked what her name was and thinking
13:09on her feet she told him her name was
13:11Susan she didn't give him her real name
13:13even that I don't know that I would
13:15think to do that I don't think I would
13:17think to do that I really don't you're
13:20like cuz I'm I'm nervous just listening
13:23to this I can't imagine being in it and
13:25to think on your toes like that already
13:27I'm like damn just smart survival like
13:29skills you know so he said he said his
13:32name was Clinton which was not true but
13:34hoping to appeal to his Humanity she
13:36started asking questions about him
13:38figuring that if he could see her as an
13:40ordinary person and they could just
13:41strike up a conversation he would let
13:43her go without hurting her another smart
13:46tactic very smart that takes a lot of
13:48like wherewithal control and like
13:52keeping yourself calm to do because
13:54otherwise you're just going to freak out
13:55I mean my voice would be shaking I'd be
13:58I'd just be crying think I'd be able to
13:59yeah I would definitely be that's just
14:02out of fear and I wouldn't know what
14:04questions to even ask that's the
14:06thing well unfortunately that plan
14:09didn't quite pan out because in a harsh
14:11tone he answered her and said I'd rather
14:13not tell you anything about
14:14me just wouldn't say anything I hate
14:17that so when that didn't work she did
14:19what you were just saying and said why
14:21don't you just take my car I'll go I'm
14:23not going to say anything to anybody
14:24just take the car yeah but he told her
14:26no and said he just wanted company
14:29I hate this so much terrifying he
14:32explained to her that he had a friend
14:33who stole his TV and he said he was
14:35driving to go find him and get some
14:37money that he owed him which is just
14:41that story is strange yeah so she grew
14:43increasingly fearful as they just drove
14:45further and further away from her
14:47apartment and further from the city
14:49proper until they ended up in a part of
14:51the city that she hadn't been to in
14:52several years and was almost entirely
14:55unfamiliar to her they approached a
14:57large group of people on the sidewalk
14:59talk and quote unquote Clinton slowed
15:01down and started scanning the crowd
15:03clearly getting more and more agitated
15:05and muttering under his breath like he
15:07was looking for somebody and obviously
15:09he hadn't found whoever he was looking
15:10for so he jerked the car down a side
15:12street and did a loop around and then
15:15slowed down to scan this crowd a second
15:17time and then it appeared he found
15:18whoever he was looking for so he slowed
15:21the car to a stop and a short man
15:23dressed in all black approached the
15:24driver's side neither of them said
15:27anything to each other but Clinton slid
15:29the driver's seat forward and the second
15:31man climbed into the back seat oh I be
15:34so scared like oh my God I can't imagine
15:37cuz now there's two men there's two men
15:38in this car with like in your car I hate
15:41this and it's like 1 it's after 1:00
15:43a.m. so Clinton told the other man meet
15:46my friend Susan and just started driving
15:48back to the main road [ __ ] so he
15:51gestured to the man now riding along
15:53with them in the back seat and told
15:55Allison this is tons and the man the two
15:58men talked Clinton drove but Allison was
16:00too nervous to even follow what they
16:02were saying she just caught a few words
16:04here and there yeah and instead she was
16:05trying to keep her attention focused on
16:07the landscape outside of the car and was
16:09also hoping at the same time that she
16:11might catch the attention of another
16:13driver yeah but nobody seemed to be
16:15paying any attention to what was
16:16happening outside their own vehicles and
16:19even if you saw this yeah think
16:21anything's weird cuz it's just three
16:23people in a car driving and a lot of
16:24people don't want to intervene with that
16:27stuff oh yeah that comes up which is
16:30really scary it is scary So eventually
16:33it occurred to Allison that they had
16:34been driving for quite some time and
16:36they seem to be headed along the beach
16:38towards Summer strand a suburb of Port
16:41Elizabeth about five or so miles outside
16:43of City Limits so they were kind of just
16:45like in the middle of nowhere yeah as
16:48they got further from the city they
16:49stopped talking the two men just stopped
16:52talking completely and the car was
16:54filled with an unbearable silence in her
16:57head Allison convinced her that they
16:59were just taking the long way to visit
17:01this friend as Clinton had indicated
17:03earlier but the further and further they
17:05got from Port Elizabeth the less likely
17:07it was all seeming so finally when they'
17:10put the lights of Port Elizabeth behind
17:11them Clinton broke the silence and told
17:14Allison tians doesn't speak good
17:17English okay now the sound of his voice
17:20jolted Allison out of a panicked State
17:21and brought her back into reality the
17:23statement seemed to come out of nowhere
17:25and wasn't followed by anything else
17:28which she thought was very strange yeah
17:30but now with her attention focused on
17:32what was happening in the car it
17:33occurred to her that Clinton was
17:35starting to slow down as they were
17:36reaching a wooded area oh God yeah so as
17:41that happened he made a u-turn and
17:43pulled the car onto a small path that
17:45led down to the beach driving the car
17:46right up to the sand until they reached
17:49a dark isolated spot among the trees
17:51about 300 ft away from the road the fear
17:54she must have felt as this car is just
17:56slowing down you're in the middle of
17:58nowhere apprehensible to strangers who
18:00are just being weird like obviously
18:03they've abducted you at knife Point
18:05first of all and they're just being
18:06weird and creepy and quiet and just as a
18:10woman being alone with two men you don't
18:12know is this regardless of whether
18:14they're being threatening or not I'm
18:16sorry just automatically is very very
18:19scary yeah for them to be this weird and
18:22threatening and to be driving you into
18:23an isolated area of a wooded area would
18:27be I mean like my nervous system is in
18:30Orbit right now just thinking about it
18:32even just being like not even like
18:34completely alone with two strangers that
18:36are men being like with friends and then
18:38two strangers that you don't know that
18:40are men is scary like I've had that
18:42experience you don't know what they're
18:44about yeah you don't know what's going
18:46to happen
18:47exactly I just I do want to I mean some
18:50I think a lot of people know this story
18:51but if you don't I do just want to
18:53forewarn you that there's going to be
18:55talk about a very intense sexual assault
18:58and rape yeah
18:59it is extremely graphic yeah very
19:01graphic I did my best to make it a
19:04little less graphic but it's kind of
19:06impossible to take it fully away yeah so
19:08and we got to tell the story for what it
19:09is so Clinton brought the car to a stop
19:11under a cluster of trees and tian's got
19:14out leaving Allison completely alone now
19:16in the car with her abductor and Clinton
19:19sexually assaulted Allison at this point
19:21piece of [ __ ] and this was all while T
19:24was just like sitting on the hood of the
19:26car my God just like got out of the the
19:28car knew that this was going to happen
19:30[ __ ] monsters and then when Clinton
19:34was finished sexually assaulting Allison
19:36he called tian's into the car and Tion
19:38started to do the same thing also
19:40sexually assaulted her but moments later
19:43he shouted no I can't do this and he got
19:45out of the car and sat back down on the
19:47hood and just smoked a cigarette instead
19:50of like trying to stop this at all what
19:52the [ __ ] he couldn't bring himself to
19:54continue assaulting her but he wasn't
19:55going to be he wasn't going to be a good
19:57person and try to stop it no no so when
19:59he finished his cigarette he hopped down
20:01from the hood and looked back at the car
20:03and looking at Clinton he yelled
20:06fron oops Yeah not not his real name
20:09Clinton fron is his real name very
20:11bright it was the first time that
20:13Allison had heard the name of her
20:14attacker so she just started repeating
20:16it over and over again in her head like
20:18silently determined not to forget his
20:21name but almost as if he knew what she
20:23was doing fron looked over at her and
20:25said if we take you into town now you're
20:27going to go to the police it was almost
20:29like he could sense it she tried to
20:31assure him that she wasn't going to say
20:33anything to anybody but neither of them
20:35would be convinced and one of them then
20:37said to the other what do you think um
20:39Nick would want us to do with her what
20:41the [ __ ] um Nick Allison recognized as
20:44another name for
20:45Satan what the [ __ ] o is like a South
20:49African um word it basically it's it's
20:52akin to Uncle for us it's like a sign of
20:56respect so umnik they were referring to
20:58Satan Satan's also known as old Nick
21:00which I didn't realize that is weird but
21:02I was looking into it the other night or
21:04like I don't mean weird I mean like
21:05that's different yeah it's different he
21:07so he looks at the other guy say do
21:08think Uncle Satan would want us to do
21:10with her yeah he doesn't exist I don't
21:13think he's going to give you yeah
21:14exactly I don't think he's going to
21:16weigh in here well when she's sitting
21:17there and she said she thought to
21:18herself like what does Satan have to do
21:19with this what the [ __ ] are you talking
21:21about but she didn't know what to do so
21:24tion's answered I think he wants us to
21:25kill her they're just having this ation
21:29yes and they're just acting like like
21:32this is all normal like they're not
21:34acting freaked out or anything like that
21:36like they're acting just like this is
21:38another Tu conversation yeah so fron
21:41then instructed Allison to get out of
21:43the car and remove all of her clothing
21:45which she did because at this point
21:46she's just I would I would do the same
21:48thing I was going to say I just don't
21:49know what else she would and remember he
21:50has a knife and the two of them have
21:52just bured her so when she'd taken off
21:54all her clothes he gestured at the rings
21:56on her hand and told her to even take
21:58those off
21:59and tition quickly grabbed them like
22:00snatched them out of her hands the next
22:03thing she knew she was knocked to the
22:04ground and fron was choking her and they
22:07made her take off those rings so she
22:08couldn't be identified mhm later she
22:11said I was I was surprised by how strong
22:13he had become this man knew what he was
22:15doing and he was determined to do it and
22:17we will find out he knew what he was
22:18doing because this was not the first
22:20time they had attacked
22:22somebody Allison managed to get a few
22:24words out while he was choking her just
22:26begging him not to kill her but all Fran
22:29said was sorry while he continued
22:31violently choking her until she lost
22:33Consciousness so he's standing like
22:36straddling over her choking her into
22:38unconsciousness and
22:40apologizing but still doing it but like
22:42that adds such a layer of just I would
22:45like of Terror to this whole thing
22:47apologizing while you're doing this yeah
22:49and just Contin stopping it's horrifying
22:54so she regained Consciousness just a
22:56short time later and realized she was
22:58still on the ground and she's looking
22:59around and she sees that she's
23:01surrounded by trash and broken bottles
23:03one of the men was crouched over her and
23:05she couldn't see what he was doing all
23:07she saw was his arm swinging wildly back
23:10and forth in front of her face oh God
23:12but then it occurred to her and she
23:14thought my God he's slashing my throat
23:17holy [ __ ] she couldn't see really what
23:20was happening obviously cuz it's like
23:21she can't look down and see it and she
23:23didn't feel any pain in this moment but
23:26she quote could hear the flesh
23:29split oh my
23:32God
23:34yep what this woman has and this isn't
23:37this is just the tip of the iceberg oh
23:39this is just just that going through
23:41that I don't know what you do after that
23:44but like oh my God it would later be
23:47determined that they had slit her throat
23:4916
23:51times and she was almost like she was
23:54nearly
23:55decapitated the fact that this woman is
23:58aive
23:58five and what
24:01beasts truly and just [ __ ] wait but
24:06that's just Unthinkable this entire
24:08crime is Unthinkable and it only gets

24:12what happened and N these two just
24:15decided they wanted to do this one day
24:18they just decided that they wanted to do
24:19this together that's wildly [ __ ] up
24:21came up with the idea and for two people
24:23to get together to do this kind of [ __ ]
24:25always really it's scary enough throws
24:27me off it's scary enough when one person
24:29is able to do this kind of thing when
24:31they can get a team together that all
24:33cuz it's like I and we've said this
24:35before in other things like the Hillside
24:36stranglers and all the other kind of T
24:38teams that team up and do this like you
24:40know Ian and Myra hinley
24:43um where does that conversation start
24:46that's that's the thing that you have to
24:47sit there and wonder start and where
24:48does it start and what has already
24:50happened see the other person runs what
24:51has already happen to make you feel
24:53confident that they're going to be cool
24:54with you bringing that's the thing
24:55because you have to feel real confident
24:57to say to somebody
24:59do you think you'd want to just like
25:00randomly kill someone for Sport with me
25:02yeah like you have to be very confident
25:04to do that I would think and it's like
25:06cuz otherwise like what are you going to
25:07say like no I was just kidding like that
25:10then the person's going to be like
25:11you're that's crazy
25:13by like I just I can't I never get over
25:16these things I don't know where you find
25:17one person who's capable of this not
25:19that I'm looking and I then where do you
25:21find two yeah and how do they find each
25:23other like what [ __ ] evil has to
25:25happen in the world for these people to
25:26be guided to each other seriously like
25:29what ancient tomb was opened up that
25:32released the kind of evil that allows
25:34this to happen it's so true so she could
25:37hear her flesh being split open and I
25:40don't know if I said this already but it
25:41was determined later that they had slid
25:42her throat 16 times 16 times 16 times
25:45and that's not it suddenly the attack
25:48stopped and her attackers moved away and
25:50she could hear the two men muttering and
25:52pacing around near her and then she
25:54turned on her stomach stomach in an
25:56effort to protect herself and she said I
25:58tried to hold my breath but I realized I
26:00had no control over my breathing I moved
26:02my hand up to cover my neck my whole
26:05hand disappeared into it but it seemed
26:07to have worked the sound the sound was
26:11silenced oh my
26:14God I I can't like this is so horrifying
26:18it's insane this poor woman people are
26:20depraved this poor woman so she lay on
26:23the ground now playing dead she's
26:25completely she has the this woman has
26:27her throat has been slit 16 times to the
26:30point of near being decapitated and she
26:32has the wherewithal to play dead that's
26:34the thing it's like this woman
26:36throughout this entire thing the the
26:40sharp [ __ ] mind on Allison is un
26:44[ __ ] match and just the will to
26:46survive like
26:48she's I can't say enough like I just I'm
26:51I'm a astounded I'm astounded I'm my
26:55flabs have been gasted there's not a
26:57word to describe how incredible how
26:59incredible she is my Timbers have been
27:02shivered just I'm shook by all of the
27:04above like she
27:06is to have that kind of brand I I can't
27:10even every statement you think of like I
27:11was just going to say she's a force to
27:13be reckoned with not that's not enough
27:15that's not enough so she just lays there
27:17on the ground pretending to be dead she
27:19can hear the two of them talking over
27:21her and they're talking in afro cons at
27:22this point and they're rumaging around
27:24through her car and one of them asks the
27:26other they're like do you think she's
27:27dead and the other one responded no one
27:29can survive that wrong except Allison
27:33wrong [ __ ] [ __ ] now a few
27:36seconds later she heard the engine start
27:38and then rev a few times of course yeah
27:40you got of course you got to as the car
27:43just revers swinging around kids yeah
27:45swinging around the car reversed and
27:47drove back out onto the main road she
27:48was finally completely alone but she was
27:51obviously in very bad shape such bad
27:53shape she didn't even know that she was
27:55in at this point and she was almost sure
27:57she was going to die here so wanting to
27:59do anything she could to help the
28:01authorities catch her Killers she
28:03started writing in the sand my God as
28:06she's laying there nearly decapitated
28:08and there's other stuff that I'm going
28:09to get into that happened that she
28:11hasn't even realized yet but she's
28:13laying there writing in the sand she
28:16wrote frons then underneath she wrote
28:18teens cuz I don't know if she knew how
28:20to spell tons or I mean she's she's in a
28:24state right now yeah and then just
28:26before losing Consciousness She Wrote I
28:28love Mom oh my God and traced it in a
28:31square so that it would be like very
28:33obvious
28:35oh oh my God the strength that that must
28:39have taken her body is actively shutting
28:42down and you're trying and she's writing
28:44down valuable information for
28:46investigators so that they can't do this
28:47again to someone else exactly like
28:50exactly so later she said she would
28:52remember this moment with remarkable
28:54Clarity she said it was as if I'd cut
28:56moing feeling like her spirit had left
28:58her body just floating she said as I
29:00hovered there I recognized the person
29:02down below I knew it was me and I felt
29:04such a strong connection to that
29:05bleeding mangled girl lying on her
29:07stomach wow and in that moment she said
29:10it occurred to her that she'd only just
29:11started her life cuz she was 27 years
29:14old holy [ __ ] she hadn't achieved really
29:17any of the things that she hoped she
29:18would do so as thoughts just rised
29:21through her head she suddenly caught a
29:23glimmer of lights out of the corner of
29:24her eye during the attack everything
29:26obviously seemed so far away but it
29:28turned out that they actually weren't
29:30very far from the main road at all she
29:32remembered the headlights were enough of
29:33an inspiration to try for me to try to
29:36reach a place where someone might at
29:37least find me even if I was dead wow so
29:41despite her absolutely profound injuries
29:45she managed to push herself up onto her
29:48knees how as soon as she did something
29:51felt very wrong she reached down to her
29:54stomach and felt something she described
29:56as something tepid wet and
29:59slimy looking down she could see that
30:01her intestines were exposed and hanging
30:04out of her
30:06stomach
30:08holy [ __ ] her
30:10intestines were literally falling out of
30:13her stomach she said it was horrifying
30:17there was just so much of me on the
30:18outside I tried to scoop it all up with
30:21my hands but everything just slithered
30:23away again because you're liter how do
30:27you survive this
30:28how do you survive this oh I'm just like
30:31I'm holding my own stomach just sitting
30:33here like I and how do you do that to
30:37somebody stab them to the point that
30:40their intestines are pouring out by the
30:42way so in addition to her her throat
30:46being slashed 16 times they stabbed her
30:48in the abdomen over 50
30:51times to the point that her intestines
30:53were now spilling out of her how were
30:55they ever she's alive how were they ever
30:58let out oh yeah cuz spoiler sorry
31:00spoiler L but I think you should know
31:02right off the bat that they got let out
31:03like they got let out how were they let
31:05out I I'll get to it I think they served
31:0817 years maybe a little more and got out
31:11because there was uh it's similar to
31:13what happened here with the Constitution
31:15where um life sentences became
31:17unconstitutional it was it was I think
31:19it was literally the same year 2004
31:21we'll get to it but yeah yeah holy [ __ ]
31:26yeah so she still crazy she must have
31:29just been in complete shock and there
31:31must have been like so much adrenaline
31:32coursing through her veins because of
31:34this like that's what your body does so
31:36she still wasn't experiencing any pain
31:39but the sight of her intestines and the
31:41considerable wound in her stomach
31:42unnerved her and for the first time the
31:45gravity of the situation struck her yeah
31:47so she starts groping around with one
31:49hand just trying to find something cuz
31:51she she had taken off clothes so she
31:53knew maybe they were right there they
31:55had left her shirt sock I know so she
31:59found that lying in the sand and used it
32:01to tie around her abdomen just to keep
32:03her insides in
32:05place literally tourniquets herself [ __ ]
32:08to keep her intestines in place my God
32:12and then she just started crawling
32:14toward the road all the while debris and
32:17bits of broken glass are cutting her
32:19knees and hands open as she's crawling
32:22and her intestines are still spilling
32:24out of her and she's having to like oh
32:25and she's basically decapitated for she
32:29yeah exactly in in case you forgot she's
32:31also nearly decapitated and that's not
32:33hyperbolic no like medically she's
32:36literally medically like her half of her
32:38thyroid was sitting outside of her her
32:42neck
32:43I I swear to you the next time I have a
32:47[ __ ] complaint oh some dumbass
32:50complaint punch me in the [ __ ] face I
32:53probably won't do that because my God
32:55but I'll remind you of this story my God
32:57the the perspective that this will give
33:03you is beyond it's it's beyond I get to
33:07the point like I got to the point
33:08reading this I was telling Drew about it
33:10when I was like putting it together I
33:11was like telling him about it and I just
33:12got to the point where I was like I
33:13don't even have words left that's thing
33:15like you really don't I don't even have
33:17words left to describe this story
33:18describe this woman like yeah it's Tru
33:21Unthinkable I can't believe what she
33:23survived and what she was able to walk
33:26away like not walk away from but you
33:27know what I mean yeah so badly injured
33:30and only having one free hand at this
33:32point because one of them is uh keeping
33:34her neck together oh and realistically
33:36only she doesn't even have a free hand
33:37cuz she's keeping her intestines
33:39together and trying to keep her head
33:41together so her progress was slow and
33:44exhausting because again her body is
33:46shutting down but when she reached the
33:48clearing where the attack had first
33:49started she collapsed on a pile of rocks
33:52and felt like she couldn't go any
33:53further because I you can't imagine what
33:55this had to have taken and she's rapidly
33:58losing blood at the same time so then it
34:00occurred to her though she wasn't even
34:02thinking of herself in this moment she
34:04said it occurred to her that if anybody
34:06found her there like so far away from
34:08the scene there would be a large trail
34:10of blood behind her and they would know
34:11that she struggled and suffered and she
34:14didn't want that for her friends and
34:17family Allison are you a real are you a
34:21person she's a like a saint like what
34:23are you she is a goddess I'm so
34:27impressed with with her mind to think
34:29like I'm just like what like that mind
34:31of hers and that like I don't know I
34:34don't know what what she is but like
34:36that that mind and soul is something
34:38that I I don't think you come across
34:41often no to have the capacity to think
34:43about the reaction of your friends and
34:46family and like just that you wouldn't
34:49want them to be that heartbroken and
34:50know you what you went through wow
34:53insane like in a good way yeah so the in
34:57at this point was taking too long and
34:59she knew that if she was going to get to
35:01the road she had to move faster so it
35:04took some time but eventually she did
35:05manage to get to her feet but as soon as
35:08she was upright everything went black of
35:10course now this moment was deeply
35:12confusing because she hadn't lost
35:13Consciousness she was still completely
35:15conscious but for some re some reason
35:17everything was completely wrong she said
35:20my head I realized had flopped backwards
35:23and almost rested between my shoulder
35:25blads oh my God she said I hadn't I
35:29expected to feel something but was
35:30completely taken aback when my hands
35:32seemed to almost disappear inside my
35:34body as if I had swallowed myself so
35:37what most likely happened there Elena
35:39and I was talking to Elena a little bit
35:40about the details of this something had
35:42to have happened where the nerves that
35:44like help give you sight were so messed
35:46up in that moment that when she flopped
35:48backwards they weren't like maybe
35:50registering backwards like pinch the
35:53occipital or like you know any kind of
35:55nerve that makes it so you can see and
35:56the lights lit literally just went out
35:58because there was a kink in the line
36:00insane like that
36:02is and when she says her head is resting
36:05between her shoulder blad oh my god when
36:07you said I'm literally like I keep
36:09grabbing my neck CU I'm just like oh God
36:11like I can't that's like like if you put
36:14your head back and look at the sky hers
36:16was almost in between your shoulder
36:18blades you couldn't physically do that
36:20because you're not decapitated I ask my
36:23kids to look up at the ceiling when I
36:25wash their hair in the bath and they act
36:27like I asking them I've seen that to do
36:29just acrobatics the Lords work and this
36:33what yeah oh so that's when she real cuz
36:37that's so that's why she had one free
36:38hand at that point because she didn't
36:39realize how bad it was while she's
36:41crawling so when she was crawling she
36:42was crawling with one hand the other
36:44hand was keeping her intestines together
36:46now at this point she tries to stand and
36:48that's what happen so now she has no
36:49free hands now she's got to hold her
36:51head she's literally holding her head
36:52and her abdomen so yeah my God holding
36:55her head forward with one hand and
36:57pressing her intestines into her abdomen
36:59with the other both if you could see
37:01know a picture of us right now I am
37:04clasping my neck with one hand and I
37:06have the other hand on top of my head
37:08stabilizing my own head holding holding
37:11her stomach and the top of her head and
37:13we are both just nodding at each other
37:15being like wow this is what she had to
37:16do but with everything spilling out of
37:19her and this is just listening to this I
37:21am holding all of my body together yeah
37:25so now she's got that's the other thing
37:27now she like she's lost all this Blood
37:29she's nearly decapitated her intestines
37:31are spilling out and now she's standing
37:34and has to have the balance to walk
37:37putting one foot in front of the other
37:38keep the lights on I could barely do
37:40that and I I'm fully here yeah so she
37:44very slowly swung One Foot In Front of
37:46the other just slowly moving in the
37:47direction of the main road she said at
37:49various points she felt like she was
37:50just going to lose Consciousness again
37:52and after what felt like an hour she
37:54considered giving up but when she raised
37:56her eyes forward she realized she made
37:58it to the road Allison but [ __ ] yeah
38:01Allison now she realized she'd reached
38:03her destination which was incredible
38:06remarkable in like Beyond but now she
38:09needed to get somebody's attention every
38:12fiber of her being just wanted to lay
38:15down right there where she was on the
38:16pavement but she was on the side of the
38:18road at this point and she knew that by
38:20lying on the side of the road she might
38:22not be seen missed yeah exactly so
38:25instead she took even more steps and
38:27made it to the middle of the road and
38:29just lay horizontally down across the
38:32road ensuring that a driver coming in
38:34either direction would have to stop or
38:36intentionally drive around her wow but
38:39literally thought that was like I'm just
38:40going to first of all laying in the
38:41middle of the road horrifying scary she
38:44didn't even think of that at that point
38:46All Natural Instincts she didn't even
38:48think of that she just said they'll have
38:49to swerve around me or they'll they'll
38:52see me and they'll stop stop cuz she's
38:54also thinking like people are humans
38:58yeah they're not just going to run me
38:59over luckily nobody runs her over but
39:02people aren't humans but I'm surprised
39:04after what she has been through that she
39:05can still trust in humans enough to be
39:08like honestly they won't just run me
39:09over honestly you know so at this point
39:12she's just relieved to finally rest this
39:14has taken everything and more out of her
39:18so she laid down for an in indeterminate
39:20amount of time until finally she heard
39:23the hum of an engine from off in the
39:25distance and the hum grew closer and
39:26closer until it finally stopped and she
39:28could see the headlights from the car
39:30bearing down on her and it was just
39:32sitting idle in the road but the driver
39:33wasn't getting out she said I
39:35frantically waved as fast as I could I
39:37wanted whoever it was to see that I was
39:39alive and needed help but the driver
39:41didn't make any moves to get out of the
39:43vehicle and for a moment a terrible
39:46thought flashed through her mind what if
39:48this is them what if this is them
39:49returning to make sure I'm dead luckily
39:52it was not but what felt like 15 or
39:54maybe even 20 minutes later the engine
39:56revved slight
39:58and the car just drove around her and
40:00continued down the
40:01road whoever that was how do you live
40:04with yourself whoever that was I hope
40:07you stub your toe every morning I hope
40:09you've never had a good coffee since I
40:11hope you have every [ __ ] tastic thing
40:15happened to you every [ __ ] day I hope
40:17it's always raining on your side of the
40:20street I hope that you don't like
40:22rain
40:24I'm without words I I wish you the worst
40:28rarely am I speechless person who just
40:31sat there for however long they did
40:33because obviously she had no concept of
40:34time at this took a look at her I wish
40:38you the very worst which is exactly what
40:41you deserve all you had to do is call
40:43the
40:44police or just get out and comfort the
40:46woman in the Middle Road like hello
40:48police that's what like call the police
40:50you have and wait all you have to do is
40:52uh be a [ __ ] fellow human like holy
40:55[ __ ] and you did you just like go have
40:57dinner with your family after that who
40:59knows like what' you do all the rest of
41:01your day who knows did you tell someone
41:04did you go somewhere and just be like oh
41:05yeah I saw this crazy thing you hope
41:07that that person called the police but
41:08it doesn't sound like they did Jesus so
41:10her heart is just broken as she's
41:12watching her what she feels is her only
41:14hope drive away but yet the more she
41:17thought about it she had the wherewithal
41:19to have compassion everybody the more
41:22she started to consider why a person
41:24might not get out under these
41:25circumstances she thought perhaps it was
41:27a woman on her own who was scared to get
41:29out of her car maybe the driver sensed
41:31danger and thought it was an ambush and
41:33thought I was some sort of decoy she
41:35still was able to have compassion for
41:37this person and come up with like G like
41:40J not that it's by by no means okay that
41:42that person but valid reason to come up
41:44with valid reasons too to like excuse
41:46them of their actions
41:49is this girl just I mean I I just don't
41:52have words anymore I've lost vocabulary
41:54words for what she is this right here is
41:56an etal Optimist TR and just like she's
42:00like oh you know what I'll give you the
42:02excuses yeah that I hope you needed yeah
42:05so as she just lay there in the middle
42:07of the road nearly decapitated
42:09intestines filling out she just
42:11considered all the reasons why the
42:12driver had left and then she started
42:14hearing the sounds of another
42:15approaching car and then she heard
42:17voices when she opened her eyes there
42:20was a woman standing over her who just
42:22started screaming when she saw Allison's
42:24injuries which you honestly can't even
42:26blame this woman I think that was just
42:27like an instinctual response I don't
42:30blame this woman in the least because I
42:33know that was probably awful for Alison
42:36but which like I feel awful about but
42:37like I I mean you can't conjure this
42:41image in your mind and to see a human a
42:43fellow woman like that lying in the road
42:46I can't that would destroy me no it's
42:49like horrifying she said later it was
42:51the kind of scream you hear in a cheap
42:53in some cheap horror movie and then I
42:54realized how awful I must have looked so
42:57the women's screams eventually stopped
42:59and Allison started to hear other voices
43:01and then she saw the face of a young man
43:03who was a literal [ __ ] hero
43:05knel beside her this man forever he
43:07looked her directly in the eyes and was
43:09talking but she couldn't really
43:11understand what he was saying cuz she's
43:12going in and out of Consciousness at
43:14this point and she opened her mouth and
43:15tried to speak but obviously no sound
43:17came out and the young man responded
43:20telling her just to relax as best as she
43:22could and reassured her that help was on
43:24the way I love this man it was too 2:45
43:27a.m. by the time she was discovered in
43:29the street meaning this entire course of
43:32events from her abduction to her
43:34Discovery had taken no more than 90
43:38minutes oh my God all of that happened
43:42abduction to this
43:44point 90
43:47minutes that is an hour and a half
43:51everybody I cannot I can't conceive of
43:54that they were able to do that to her in
43:57minutes that's how much her life changed
43:59frenzied that attack oh absolutely
44:02absolutely and even more badass of her
44:06mhm you got all the way out there in
44:08that little of time yes and it probably
44:10which to her felt like hours oh I think
44:12it felt like days she was zo out there
44:14yeah yeah in this in this [ __ ]
44:18economy like in this in this situation
44:21she's just zooting out to the road yep
44:23holy [ __ ] yep now Tiana know that wow
44:28incredible 90 minutes wow so tion
44:31different than
44:32tion this this is a different person
44:35elard had been out with friends at a bar
44:37that night and was driving just driving
44:38home around 2:30 a.m. when he came upon
44:41Allison lying there in the street he was
44:43a Veterinary student so he was familiar
44:46with anatomy and immediately started
44:48checking her Vital Signs and he also
44:50recognized the severity of her wounds
44:52and did everything he could to minimize
44:54any further risk he gently tucked an
44:57exposed piece of thyroid back into her
45:00throat and then using his own shirt he
45:03applied pressure to her neck to slow the
45:05bleeding by then other cars had stopped
45:07and there was a great deal of activity
45:09in the road other drivers were directing
45:11traffic around them somebody brought a
45:13flashlight to tion oh thank goodness
45:15people yeah people people peed in a good
45:18way now so there was only one people who
45:20peopled in the bad way outside of the
45:22attackers obvious and even Allison was
45:23able to give them even Allison gave them
45:25the excuse so somebody brought him a
45:27flashlight and he was able to get a good
45:29look at her wounds seeing for the first
45:31time that her intestines were exposed he
45:34said later I was utterly amazed that
45:35this person was still alive considering
45:37this second major injury wow so while
45:40they waited for an ambulance tion
45:41continued talking to Alison both to keep
45:44her calm and conscious until the
45:46ambulance arrived and meanwhile one of
45:48the other drivers massaged her legs to
45:50keep the the circulation going my god oh
45:53I love this I love this part like this
45:56is I'm like okay this is where the
45:57humanity is at oh man she saw the she
46:00saw the opposite ends of the spectrum
46:02yep that night yep so they could finally
46:05hear the siren of the ambulance wailing
46:06in the distance but it still seemed so
46:08far away but finally the EMTs were
46:10beside them and they loaded Allison onto
46:13the stretcher and into the ambulance and
46:15instinctually Tion followed them in and
46:18climbed into the ambulance oh tion under
46:21the circumstances nobody bothered to ask
46:23what his relation was he rode all the
46:26way to the Hospital holding her hand the
46:28entire way I hope tion became a vet yes
46:32I hope he became something that cares
46:34for something clearly that is his nature
46:36that is your soul sir
46:39yeah incredible beautiful it wasn't
46:42until they arrived to the hospital and a
46:44doctor appeared that anybody even paid
46:45any attention to him and they just
46:47ushered him out of the way because she
46:48had to be brought to surgery he finally
46:51let go of Allison's hand but not before
46:53he leaned in and assured her he was not
46:55going to leave her alone he would he
46:57would be there when she woke up oh my
46:59God yes I know I love I love this years
47:03later Allison would credit her survival
47:05in large part to him who she described
47:08as her Lifeline that night my God I know
47:11so by the time the surgeon arrived at
47:13the hospital the other doctors had
47:15managed really only to get Allison's
47:16name and her mother's phone number
47:18before she went she lost Consciousness
47:20again based on the extent of her trauma
47:23the surgeon Dr vodia an Angelov was
47:27stunned that she had even managed to
47:29stay alive oh yeah after checking her
47:31vital signs he did his best not to
47:33reveal his surprise to the patient who
47:35was just slipping in and out of
47:36Consciousness and according to Dr anelo
47:39Allison looked like a quote creature
47:41straight out of a Dickens novel she
47:42looked like a corpse cuz you have to
47:44think the amount of blood she lost she
47:47must be gray and just yeah dead
47:51literally like on the brink of death
47:53yeah once they cleaned her off and moved
47:55her into surgery they could see the
47:57extent of the wounds Dr Angelov said her
47:59neck had been split open almost from ear
48:02to ear I've seen many injuries as a
48:04doctor but the severe cruelty of the
48:06wounds really shocked me wow her thyroid
48:09had been sliced nearly in half and had
48:12tition not thought to push it back into
48:14her throat she would have died ton if he
48:17hadn't done that she would have died
48:19this is teamwork her larynx had been
48:22separated from her trachea oh my most of
48:25the muscles intended in the front and
48:27sides of her neck had been sliced and
48:29just retracted into the base of her
48:31skull holy [ __ ] and the wound to her
48:33abdomen was equally horrific like we
48:35said her intestines had been exposed and
48:38you probably weren't even thinking now
48:40they're covered in sand dirt and other
48:41debris I actually as soon as you said
48:43she was crawling in the sand my first
48:45thought was like oh my God her
48:47intestines are covered and just holy
48:49[ __ ] but her intestines had also
48:52sustained several stab wounds her actual
48:55intestines which is so [ __ ] so bad oh
48:58yeah you could go into um septic in a SE
49:01in a incredible that she did I'm
49:03astounded she did yeah Additionally the
49:06stab wounds to her stomach had caused
49:08her abdominal muscles to collapse around
49:10the area of that wound wow but after 3
49:13and 1 half hours of cleaning and
49:15stitching wounds they finally had
49:16stabilized Allison and she was taken to
49:18the Intensive Care
49:20Unit while those while the surgeons
49:22worked to close Allison's wound other
49:24hospital staff had contacted her poor
49:26mother Claire oh I can't imagine getting
49:29that phone call my God but Claire
49:31started a kind of phone tree to inform
49:33everybody in Allison's life of what had
49:35happened and finally when she was out of
49:38surgery the family was allowed to see
49:39her and CLA rushed to the hospital to be
49:41right by her side and when she entered
49:43Allison's room she said she was shocked
49:46by what she saw CLA said she looked
49:48frightened she was filthy her face was
49:50swollen her eyes were filled with blood
49:52and bulged out of her head and she had
49:54tubes and pipes everywhere oh my God
49:56there was a cage over her lower body
49:58keeping blankets off of her and there
50:00was this massive bandage across her
50:02throat imagine seeing her baby like that
50:06like somebody did that to your
50:09baby there wouldn't be a safe
50:12[ __ ] corner of this Earth in
50:14the Galaxy no just you can't even you
50:18could go light yours away and I would
50:19travel there and find you out the
50:21atmosphere without me following like
50:23that's I feel
50:26immensely for her mother for having to
50:29see that so despite her injuries Allison
50:32was awake and did her best to Mom
50:35because she's got to entertain her
50:37visitors because she's a good Hostess as
50:39well yeah that's Alison laying in the
50:41hospital under all all those
50:43circumstances and is like hi Mom hey the
50:45fact she could even [ __ ] talk is like
50:47her larynx was separated from her
50:49trachea yeah yeah and she's like hey Mom
50:53hey so she tried to explain she she
50:56tried to sit there and explain what had
50:58happened to her mom but her voice was
50:59too horse to say much gee I wonder why
51:02but she just insisted that the police
51:03needed to catch the men who had done
51:05this to her and it took more than a few
51:07minutes before she realized that in
51:08addition to her mother there was another
51:10young man in the room it was tion tion
51:13it was tion the man who stayed with her
51:16while they waited for the ambulance so
51:18she just thanked him profusely and did
51:19her best to hug him oh my God outside
51:22the room the attending physician Dr
51:24Coleman detailed the extent of Al wounds
51:27to her family explaining that her head
51:29like I said had almost been severed from
51:31her body she had also remember been
51:34sexually assaulted oh yeah he said I
51:37fought in the Rhian Bush war and I've
51:39never seen anyone with injuries like
51:40this survive those wounds were gross
51:43beyond belief my goodness he explained
51:45that her Outlook was not good because
51:47even if she survived the first few days
51:49there was still an incredibly high risk
51:52of infection from all the debris found
51:54along her intestines and the injury to
51:56her throat was equally serious it was
51:59very possible for the wound to develop a
52:01thick scar tissue that could potentially
52:04choke her Airway holy [ __ ] so even
52:06though they were able to get everything
52:08back in order think of that scar tissue
52:11could have formed and like the inside
52:13and literally like pushed back into her
52:15Airway yeah my God yep you don't even
52:19think of that no although the Outlook
52:21was Grim Claire was confident that her
52:22daughter would survive she said she was
52:24confident that God had not allowed her
52:26daughter to make it this far only to
52:27take her a few days later wow within a
52:30few days visitors started to show up to
52:32Allison's room every few hours including
52:33of course her father her brother and a
52:36ton of friends and family and when she
52:38was finally stable she was visited by
52:39two police officers now that she was out
52:42of danger and she was able to speak more
52:44clearly she described her attackers to
52:46the police and told them that their
52:47names were frons and tians fortunately
52:51one of the officers Nadia swanpool
52:53thought that she actually might have had
52:55an interaction with these two men at a
52:57shopping mall a few days earlier which
53:00was confirmed the following day when
53:02Allison identified them both in a photo
53:04lineup holy [ __ ] what are the odds cuz
53:07these are they're just out here being
53:09[ __ ] menaces in every way you can
53:10think a few days later another police
53:13officer uh Melvin humle showed up at
53:16Allison's bedside and he explained that
53:18he was now the lead detective on the
53:19case and wanted to inform her that they
53:21had arrested fron dutoit and tion's
53:24Krueger and they'd found her car
53:27wow they were already out on bail
53:29pending a trial for another rape charge
53:33so humle assured Allison that neither
53:35man would be eligible for bail now so
53:38they attacked her when they were already
53:40out on bail for raping another woman so
53:43they're just [ __ ] monsters monsters
53:45pure monsters monsters by that point
53:48Allison had been in the hospital for
53:49almost 2 weeks a news about her attack
53:52had spread throughout the count the
53:53country the Press was obviously eager to
53:55talk to her had been harassing Claire
53:57which I'm like really like come on yeah
54:00day and night they're harassing her in
54:02most cases you would assume somebody in
54:03Allison's position would probably just
54:05want to avoid talking about this ordeal
54:06at all and not want to be anywhere near
54:09strangers you totally understand that
54:11you would yeah you'd give her every
54:12Grace in the world but she felt
54:14compelled to tell her story she was
54:16still in such a fragile condition though
54:18that interviews had to wait but she was
54:20willing to give them holy [ __ ] just to
54:22make sure that like every word got out
54:25the story was told yeah so she remained
54:27in the hospital obviously for several
54:28more weeks and during that time her
54:30attackers were arrested and prosecuted
54:32for her attempted murder which honestly
54:34they should have just been prosecuted
54:36for murder because that's what this
54:37would have been that's I hate attemp
54:39we've gone through that before but like
54:41this is murder yeah this is murder yep
54:45they walked away from somebody they
54:47after decapitating her and slashing her
54:51throat 16 times and stabbing her in the
54:53abdomen upwards of 50 times exposing her
54:56intestines after raping her violently
54:59yep and choking her as well to the point
55:02of unconsciousness if you tell me that
55:04is not murder that's stupid as [ __ ] no
55:08that's that is that is murder but the
55:11but Allison's just stronger than they
55:13are she's just better than them and she
55:14should not be punished for being
55:16stronger than they are exactly because
55:18it's like that's not that's not aemp
55:20that's not like oops I didn't do it
55:22right no they did it right yeah
55:24Allison's just stronger than that she's
55:25just an Aly it's like they did it they
55:28they overdid it in fact they overkilled
55:30her they did and for them to not
55:32consider that like they're needed to be
55:35some kind of break from precedence yeah
55:37where they sat there and said this is
55:39murder because this case a break from
55:41precedence doesn't mean that this is not
55:43murder y let's be real here it drives me
55:46[ __ ] nuts it it has always pissed me
55:51attemped murder drives me nuts to be him
55:53with but when it's this flagrant it's a
55:56whole it's like it I don't there needs
55:58to be a different precedent there just
56:00needs to be there absolutely does cuz
56:02this makes me so angry yeah [ __ ] so
56:05she's in the hospital she's reading
56:07updates in the papers and she was
56:08surprised by how quote disheveled and
56:10terrified they both looked in the
56:12photographs because when they were
56:14around her they were acting completely
56:15normal but now they look like [ __ ] it's
56:17like you're not scared you're scared you
56:19got caught the Press had dubbed the pair
56:21the Nord Hoke Nord Hoke rippers which is
56:24like don't give them a nickname and of
56:26course
56:27there was reports that they claimed to
56:28be satanists to Allison the claims of
56:31Satanism seemed like a ploy to lessen
56:32the severity of what they had done like
56:34they weren't acting of their own free
56:35will when they very much were I am 100%
56:38with her on that yeah 100% now if
56:41friends and tans had hoped to influence
56:43the court with their claims of Satan you
56:45know Satan's influence only the Press
56:47seemed interested in their religious or
56:49spiritual beliefs the judge and the
56:51prosecutor could give less of a couldn't
56:53give less of a [ __ ] they had no interest
56:55in their beliefs and remained focused on
56:57the cruelty and the utter brutality of
57:00their crimes after multiple days the two
57:02finally went before the court where they
57:04pleaded guilty to eight charges
57:06including kidnapping rape and attempted
57:08murder during all of this she learn
57:11Allison learned various things about her
57:12attackers from the papers fron she
57:15learned was the son of a police officer
57:18oh which uh naturally came as a surprise
57:20to her wow the son of a police officer
57:24she also learned that they had attacked
57:26uh another woman on December 4th but
57:29according to fron the urge to kill her
57:31had passed once he raped
57:33her wow so he would have killed that
57:35woman it was just the urge passed when
57:37he was done assaulting her wow from
57:41their statements in court she learned
57:42that they had just been out drinking
57:43earlier in the day and decided to prowl
57:46the streets looking for a woman to
57:48attack tion said we wanted a nice car
57:51and a nice woman our goal was to find
57:52the woman take her car kidnap her rape
57:55her and then kill her
57:57and he said this like he was just like
57:58rattling off items from a grocery list
58:00well like what we plan to do then like
58:02yeah I was just going to go to the bar I
58:03was going to run to the grocery store
58:05after I grab like apples bananas and
58:06oranges yeah but he's like we're going
58:09to kidnap a woman rape her and then kill
58:12her what like what you just sat around
58:17and shot the [ __ ] about that and we like
58:19this you know what we should do tonight
58:22instead of literally anything
58:24else what I can't I I yeah not in my
58:30wildest like I my brain just will not
58:33even attempt to comprehend that no so
58:37both men seemed arrogant and cruel to
58:39Allison and me but she was determined
58:41not to let them dominate her life going
58:43forward the judge did sentence them both
58:45to life in prison without the
58:46possibility for perole and Allison was
58:49released from the hospital with a new
58:50appreciation for life and a
58:52determination to tell her story of
58:54complete resilience and the years
58:57following her attack she focused on
58:58recovery and on processing the trauma
59:00that she experienced she said the one
59:03thing I do have control over is choice I
59:05have the freedom to choose how I will
59:07respond to it I have the choice to make
59:09of it what I must and learn from it wow
59:12she also recognized the role that she
59:14played in her own Survival focusing on
59:15her will to survive rather than the
59:17randomness of luck she was like nah I
59:19did that [ __ ] which I love Yeah cuz that
59:21was not luck that was that was 100% she
59:25is a
59:26wrong anomaly of nature yes that I don't
59:30know if there's another like how many
59:32Alison are there in the world one how
59:35many Almas are there in the world truly
59:38so she told her reporter in 2006
59:40believing that I could live the night of
59:41my attack and seeing the miraculous
59:43result of that belief is a great
59:44achievement for me like that's an
59:46understatement you can do [ __ ]
59:48anything mhm once she had physically
59:50healed she started giving interviews and
59:52speaking publicly about her experience
59:53and the path to recovery she said said
59:56when I first started speaking publicly I
59:58noticed that most people were interested
59:59in my amazing survival and physical
1:00:01recovery but as the years have gone by I
1:00:03have found more and more people have
1:00:05been Have Become interested in my mental
1:00:07and spiritual Rejuvenation which I could
1:00:09imagine in time she became a symbol of
1:00:12Hope and resilience to countless young
1:00:14women across South Africa who themselves
1:00:17had experienced sexual violence but were
1:00:19denied Justice or were unable to tell
1:00:21their stories damn and it's those women
1:00:23that Allison wanted to make a difference
1:00:25with and they were they became the
1:00:27central premise of her story she said
1:00:29you must know that you are special and
1:00:31value yourself it's what got me through
1:00:33my attack wow mhm and that was and her
1:00:36she said she grew up being told you're
1:00:39special pulled into the other room and
1:00:40said like you're special that stayed
1:00:42with her that's stuck that was a
1:00:44foundation that her mother laid wow yeah
1:00:47I love that that came back around yep we
1:00:49do that yeah that's amazing now this I
1:00:52love in 1997 her life changed
1:00:55dramatically for a second time in a good
1:00:56way when she married teeny Botha they
1:01:00met years earlier and had lost touch
1:01:02actually but they reconnected at a party
1:01:04one night where they ran into each other
1:01:05unexpectedly oh I love it so they got
1:01:07married in 1997 February 1997 and
1:01:11despite being told that she would likely
1:01:12be un unable to have children due to her
1:01:14abdominal injury she has since given
1:01:17birth to two children holy [ __ ] she said
1:01:20maybe I survived because I was meant to
1:01:22bring these two boys into the world for
1:01:24them to grow up and to become special
1:01:25people people and what makes that even
1:01:27more amazing and special is that during
1:01:30the attack one of the men said to the
1:01:32other one while they were stabbing her
1:01:34almost 50 times in her intestines and
1:01:35abdomen they said they were purposely
1:01:38trying to mutilate her reproductive
1:01:39organs and Destroy them this is a
1:01:41two-pronged response one how [ __ ]
1:01:45diabolically evil do you have to be to
1:01:47be purposely mutilating someone's
1:01:49reproductive organs while in the course
1:01:51of killing them on another level like
1:01:53just cuz that's the other thing they're
1:01:55trying they thought she was dead so they
1:01:57were just doing that adding insult to
1:01:59injury like literally blatantly and then
1:02:02two for her to go on to have two
1:02:05beautiful kids despite every odd despite
1:02:08that [ __ ] [ __ ] being like I like
1:02:11trying to mutilate her reproductive
1:02:13system and then a doctor telling her
1:02:16like truthfully like with all the
1:02:17injuries that this may not happen for
1:02:20you that
1:02:22is a miracle what two miracles what is
1:02:26this story like this story is like
1:02:28unbelievable this story is straight up
1:02:31inspiration yeah yeah if you to do the
1:02:34most menial things at this point like
1:02:37I'm like this story is inspiration to
1:02:38wake up and do my workout routine to do
1:02:41anything wake up like it's literally
1:02:44like holy [ __ ] wild now despite her
1:02:47miraculous Survival Story and seemingly
1:02:50indomitable Spirit Alis Allison spent
1:02:53years of emotional turmoil fighting to
1:02:55keep her attackers in prison which is
1:02:57[ __ ] that she even had to do that
1:02:59[ __ ] yeah that's disgraceful because
1:03:01even though they were both sentenced to
1:03:03life in prison I touched on this in the
1:03:04beginning they had no possibility of
1:03:06parole as early as 2012 there was talk
1:03:09of one of or one or both of them being
1:03:12released and people were saying they had
1:03:14earned their release how in 2012 a new
1:03:17legislation was enacted in South Africa
1:03:19that allowed for any prisoner who
1:03:21received a life sentence prior to 2004
1:03:24to apply for parole after serving at
1:03:26least 13 years of their sentence by that
1:03:29time frons and tons had been in prison
1:03:31for 17 years so they were eligible for
1:03:33this the potential release of these [ __ ]
1:03:36wads or really any potential Killers
1:03:39came as a shock to Allison of course she
1:03:41told a reporter in 2012 2012 can you
1:03:43imagine if just 100 lifers are released
1:03:45into society who are not rehabilitated
1:03:48yeah like what what do you what do is
1:03:51supposed to be all about Rehabilitation
1:03:53if you have already sentenced somebody
1:03:55to life in prison without the
1:03:56possibility they can't be rehabilitated
1:03:58you've said exactly you've said exactly
1:04:00that and allowed back into society
1:04:02because you are literally saying they
1:04:04should never be allowed back into
1:04:05society but now we're just like reneging
1:04:07but now we're being like well that
1:04:08wording makes me sad so like let's let's
1:04:10change the wording like like nope that
1:04:13doesn't change what you did that doesn't
1:04:16change that you sentenced them to be in
1:04:17prison for life cuz you didn't believe
1:04:19they could come out what the [ __ ] is
1:04:20that but now all of a sudden we're being
1:04:22like yeah yeah totally cuz it's fine we
1:04:24decided that's unconstitution when I
1:04:25said life I meant a handful of years
1:04:28when I said life I meant like less than
1:04:30a than a whole adolescent yeah the [ __ ]
1:04:33like they can't even drive yet yeah so
1:04:36after hearing the news that they had
1:04:37both applied for parole now Allison
1:04:39immediately spoke out against their
1:04:40release and used her platform to urge
1:04:42the government to keep them both in
1:04:44prison good for her her activism
1:04:45successfully kept them both in prison
1:04:47for another decade after the
1:04:49correctional services Act passed in 2012
1:04:51but in the summer of 2023 so recently
1:04:56she received yet another shock when
1:04:58without any notice to her both men were
1:05:01released on parole the fact that one
1:05:03they released them at all and two that
1:05:05they did not notify her is [ __ ]
1:05:07shameful like she what if she wanted to
1:05:09make plans to leave the country that's
1:05:11shameful because I would want to leave
1:05:13the [ __ ] country if those men had
1:05:14done what they did to her and were now
1:05:17just out just bopping around you think
1:05:19they give a [ __ ] about being on parole
1:05:21no they literally took her intestines
1:05:23out of her body and nearly decapitated
1:05:25her and intentionally tried to destroy
1:05:27her reproductive organs and you don't
1:05:29tell her that they're back out on the
1:05:31streets quote unquote on parole that's
1:05:32the least you could do what does are you
1:05:35[ __ ] kidding me in a message on
1:05:37social media she addressed the news
1:05:39saying the day I hoped and prayed for
1:05:40would never come when I was asked how
1:05:42you feel if they ever get parole my
1:05:44immediate answer was always I'm hoping
1:05:46I'll never find out but today I did wow
1:05:50now I'm sure them being released on
1:05:52parole caused this next thing I'm about
1:05:54to tell you more tragedy struck when in
1:05:57September of 2024 Allison suffered a
1:06:00massive brain aneurysm and was rushed to
1:06:03a hospital in Cape Town the surgeons
1:06:05were able to stop the bleeding in her
1:06:07brain and they were able to relieve the
1:06:08pressure that was caused by a buildup of
1:06:10fluid but she was expected to face yet
1:06:13another long road to recovery oh my God
1:06:15no stranger to adversity she met the
1:06:17challenge head on of course she did cuz
1:06:19she's Alm Botha and she's been exceeding
1:06:21her surgeon's expectations Alm Botha but
1:06:24her mother CLA released a state in
1:06:25October saying I'm beside myself that my
1:06:28child who was afflicted by a second
1:06:30death blow has exceeded all expectations
1:06:32and has lived talked and remembered and
1:06:34it and I agree with you that the stress
1:06:36of having them out absolutely I
1:06:39guarantee you had something to do with
1:06:40that absolutely whoever signed that
1:06:42stress must have been immense immense to
1:06:46the kind of stress I can't even quantify
1:06:49with words we'll never know thoughts or
1:06:51creative writing I can do it in any
1:06:54space no who whoever signed the papers
1:06:57that let them out of prison to be asham
1:07:00WR I don't know how you lay your head on
1:07:01a pillow at night but yeah despite their
1:07:04positive outlook and determination the
1:07:06medical emergency put a huge financial
1:07:08burden on this small family Allison
1:07:11doesn't have any medical insurance and
1:07:13has accured a significant amount of debt
1:07:14since undergoing the surgery course
1:07:16that's how the medical system works and
1:07:18by now and as of now the uh Botha family
1:07:20is relying on the generous support of
1:07:22public donations made to a trust account
1:07:24set up with her
1:07:26uh name in nedbank in South Africa so
1:07:29there is a fundraiser that you guys can
1:07:31donate to and we're going to donate to
1:07:33as well um it's I'm going to share the
1:07:35link but it's backabuddy doco zaa

1:09:13every day looking over her shoulder I
1:09:14bet yeah oh I can't yeah who wouldn't
1:09:18how did how did they get let out how did
1:09:21they get let out how did this happen
1:09:23again she's not the only she's the one
1:09:25that they attacked in such a brutal
1:09:28manner but she's not even the only woman
1:09:30that they've ever attacked they attacked
1:09:31a pregnant woman a pregnant woman my God
1:09:35yeah they are horrific they are filthy
1:09:40truly it's insane it's it's Unthinkable
1:09:43that they got let out so we will post
1:09:45those links for sure and cuz I mean like
1:09:48hearing this story and what she's been
1:09:50through it's unable I mean damn and she
1:09:54just has such deter to live yeah and she
1:09:57has empathy yeah and she had empathy in
1:10:00some of her darkest moments and so I
1:10:02think this is time for us all to give
1:10:03that back to it for sure for sure yeah
1:10:07so with all that being said please
