- 0:00Previously on DANCE MOMS. SOLDIERS, ARE
- 0:02YOU READY?
- 0:04THIS IS WAR. WHAT ABOUT ME? What about
- 0:06you?
- 0:07You're on suspension.
- 0:09That's good, right there. That's it.
- 0:11Good, good, good. I had some new
- 0:12headshots taken.
- 0:13Okay. Woo! That's beautiful.
- 0:16I'm going to take Kenzie to the
- 0:17hospital.
- 0:18Mackenzie actually hurt her foot 2 weeks
- 0:20ago. Don't lie for your kids. You lie
- 0:22enough for yourself as it is.
- 0:26In seventh place Abby Lee Dance Company
- 0:30Coming up on Dance Moms. Group routine
- 0:33is about Rosa Parks. DO SOMETHING WITH
- 0:35THAT FACE!
- 0:37WE WON LAST TIME. Remember that.
- 0:39Can I have AN AMEN? AMEN!
- 0:41I CAN'T CHOREOGRAPH with you sitting
- 0:43over here.
- 0:43Maybe if we throw a stick, she'll leave.
- 0:45I'm not the one that fell down the ugly
- 0:47tree.
- 0:47I'm really not sure who I want to use as
- 0:48Rosa Parks. Let's give it to one of the
- 0:50blondes.
- 0:51What's the status with Rosa Parks?
- 0:55Christi and Kelly are going berserk.
- 0:57She just threw all of us under the bus.
- 1:17My girls, let's go.
- 1:19I'm really worried when Abby comes into
- 1:21pyramid what she's going to say about
- 1:23seventh place. We're normally in the top
- 1:25three, and that's even hard to take.
- 1:27Seventh is awful.
- 1:30In seventh place with a score of 274.2
- 1:32points is act number 84, Don't Ask, Just
- 1:35Dance.
- 1:40I've been trying to figure out what does
- 1:41the Abby Lee Dance Company need to do
- 1:44to get back to first overall high score?
- 1:48We went all the way to Minnesota. I've
- 1:50never been there before.
- 1:51Huh. And I'm probably never going back.
- 1:54Our top soloist couldn't even win.
- 1:57All right now,
- 1:59for the pyramid.
- 2:02Mackenzie
- 2:06I told you to stay off of your foot.
- 2:09I even went and got you a wheelchair so
- 2:12that you weren't standing on hard cement
- 2:15all day long. But you didn't listen. You
- 2:17were hopping all over the place.
- 2:19Melissa claims that she's injured, and
- 2:22then the next day she's fine and she can
- 2:24dance again. I don't know what to really
- 2:26believe. This week, you are benched.
- 2:30You will not be performing.
- 2:33Paige
- 2:36You did a good job. It's fine, but I
- 2:39don't want good. I don't want fine.
- 2:41Paige could win a Nobel Prize, and she
- 2:43would still be at the bottom of the
- 2:44pyramid.
- 2:46Brooke,
- 2:47in the group dance,
- 2:48you're almost lethargic.
- 2:50You move slow.
- 2:53You don't have a lot of zip, a lot of
- 2:55energy.
- 2:57I don't know if it has something to do
- 2:58with me, but no matter what my kids do,
- 3:01they're always at the bottom.
- 3:03Chloe
- 3:06Have you learned your lesson?
- 3:07I hope so.
- 3:09Chloe is suspended. So is her mother.
- 3:11Replace us. That's fine.
- 3:13I don't like the pyramid, but I have
- 3:16really been trying to behave myself
- 3:17because it really means a lot for Chloe
- 3:20to be on that pyramid. Moving on up
- 3:23Maddie
- 3:24second
- 3:262 weeks in a row.
- 3:27We're going to see. Do you have what it
- 3:29takes?
- 3:30Can you get past second?
- 3:33Next
- 3:36Kendall
- 3:39Jill, I used your new headshot that you
- 3:41gave me. I got some gorgeous headshots
- 3:44made for Kendall. Abby loved them. She
- 3:46put it on the pyramid.
- 3:48I didn't get the memo that we were
- 3:49supposed to stop and get new headshots
- 3:51for pyramid this week. Jill always has
- 3:53to one-up everybody. Do you guys like
- 3:55it? I didn't realize we were doing new
- 3:57headshots for the pyramid.
- 3:59Um
- 4:01You never quite know what to expect from
- 4:03Jill.
- 4:04She claims she's not sneaky, but there's
- 4:07always some surprise. Kendall's a pretty
- 4:09girl.
- 4:10You have the face, but you go on stage
- 4:13and you don't use it.
- 4:15And on top of the pyramid this week
- 4:18is Nia.
- 4:20I'm ecstatic. I am absolutely ecstatic
- 4:23that Nia is on the top of the pyramid.
- 4:25I thought you looked great. Your face
- 4:27was off the charts. You were beyond stay
- 4:30up there.
- 4:31I like Nia's fierceness.
- 4:33It's a payoff of all of that hard work,
- 4:36and it means a tremendous amount to her.
- 4:40Now, this week we will be attending
- 4:43Powerhouse Dance Competition in
- 4:45Cincinnati, Ohio, and I have a rotten
- 4:48feeling that you know who is going to be
- 4:50there. The last time we faced Cathy,
- 4:53she beat us,
- 4:55and that can't ever happen again.
- 4:57There's nothing to ruin the competition
- 4:59like Cathy.
- 5:01The group routine is about Rosa Parks.
- 5:05Rosa Parks served as a catalyst for a
- 5:07civil rights movement by refusing to
- 5:10stand up and give up her seat on a bus.
- 5:12I didn't really learn about Rosa Parks
- 5:14in school, but I know who she is because
- 5:17of my mom. She broke down barriers, and
- 5:20she united entire races. I like routines
- 5:24that move the judges in some way. If the
- 5:26girls just do exactly what they're
- 5:29supposed to do, we may not be second. We
- 5:32may actually win this time.
- 5:34Since Nia's at the top of the pyramid
- 5:36and the dance called Rosa Parks, and
- 5:38obviously this is a part destined for
- 5:40Nia. Don't assume anything. I have no
- 5:43idea who will play Rosa Parks.
- 5:48Really?
- 5:49I'm just saying. I absolutely want Nia
- 5:52to play the role of Rosa Parks, but this
- 5:54is the big lead role in the number this
- 5:57week. She has to give it her all before
- 6:00I'm even going to let her know that the
- 6:02part is hers.
- 6:04I'm annoyed. Here's finally a part for
- 6:06Nia, and Abby's playing games. Holly,
- 6:09what's going on with the short skirt?
- 6:11And your hair's in your face. I mean,
- 6:13come on. Suppose you don't like my
- 6:14style. I I I don't.
- 6:17Who is Abby to be calling Holly out on
- 6:19her fashion sense? I mean, really? My
- 6:21favorite part about Abby's accessories
- 6:22is that they're all organized in a
- 6:25shoebox by color. Red plastic rhinestone
- 6:27crap. Blue plastic rhinestone crap. I
- 6:31don't know. I just think that an
- 6:32award-winning costume designer
- 6:34would have picked something better.
- 6:35Winner of the award for fierce costume,
- 6:38congratulations to number 25.
- 6:42And you made your costume?
- 6:44Well, my mom made my costume.
- 6:46Congratulations.
- 6:47You have stylist on your resume now,
- 6:49too? Oh, I've been dressing people for
- 6:52years.
- 6:54I've been dying to spruce up Holly a
- 6:56little bit, so with the Rosa Parks thing
- 6:59dangling over her head, this might be
- 7:01the week.
- 7:04Kendall
- 7:05you will be doing a solo again this
- 7:06weekend. The name of your routine is
- 7:09Look at Me Now. We're going to do some
- 7:11exercises about this face. My other solo
- 7:14will go to Maddie.
- 7:17The name of your routine this week is
- 7:19Breaking Down Walls. Now, remember,
- 7:22I gave you a lifeline,
- 7:24you dropped it. You had to climb up a
- 7:25hill, you rolled back down.
- 7:28I was really sad that I won second place
- 7:30last week, but I'm really happy now that
- 7:32Miss Abby gave me another chance so I
- 7:34can win. We're going to see. Do you have
- 7:36what it takes?
- 7:38I have one more routine.
- 7:41Paige
- 7:42For years, you have begged me to do a
- 7:44duet with Chloe, and all this time I've
- 7:47been waiting for you to step it up to
- 7:49her level. So I don't have to wait any
- 7:51longer
- 7:52because Chloe
- 7:55you've slipped down to that level.
- 7:57So Chloe has to be bad for Paige to get
- 7:59a duet.
- 8:00Abby has to totally ruin the moment and
- 8:02be like, Paige, you haven't had a duet
- 8:05with Chloe because
- 8:07you don't dance as good as Chloe, but
- 8:10now that Chloe isn't dancing so well,
- 8:12you can have a duet with her.
- 8:15The name of your duet is Broadway
- 8:17Blondes. The style of your routine is
- 8:20jazz. Ladies, I'm going to ask you to
- 8:22spread apart. We're going to get started
- 8:23on the group routine.
- 8:25Moms, you're dismissed. Go ahead
- 8:27upstairs.
- 8:30Chloe's finally on the pyramid. Who
- 8:32would have ever thought I'd be excited
- 8:33to be on the pyramid? This season has
- 8:36really been rough on the girls between
- 8:37suspensions, you know, strikes,
- 8:40injuries. It's taken 12 weeks to get
- 8:42those seven little girls back on that
- 8:44pyramid. Really? It is so great to have
- 8:46the team together. It's nice to see Nia
- 8:49at the top. Really excited about that.
- 8:52That was a surprise. Nia, come here. I
- 8:54want you to demonstrate this for
- 8:55everyone. Inverted knee and a double
- 8:57pain. Step to upstage.
- 9:01Did you see her face when she said Rosa
- 9:03Parks? I know Nia was beaming. And then
- 9:06she goes, "Make no assumptions." Like,
- 9:08really?
- 9:08Let's give it to one of the blondes.
- 9:11I I'm shocked. She doesn't know who's
- 9:13going to play Rosa Parks. Well, Rosa
- 9:15Parks is standing right in front of you.
- 9:17No, she has to get the part.
- 9:18Oh my god, because if not, can you
- 9:19imagine if she was like, "Chloe, you're
- 9:21going to be Rosa Parks." Like, how could
- 9:23you make Chloe look like Rosa Parks
- 9:25without being too controversial? Oh boy.
- 9:28I don't know what Abby's thinking. I
- 9:30mean, clearly Nia should be the one to
- 9:32play Rosa Parks. Anything else would be
- 9:34inappropriate.
- 9:39Mackenzie
- 9:40do you know what being benched is?
- 9:44Being benched means that either you have
- 9:47an injury or like
- 9:51I'm the referee, and I benched you.
- 9:54I told you I wanted you to stay off of
- 9:56that foot. You were hopping all over the
- 9:58place.
- 9:59And look, you're still all taped up.
- 10:01Miss Abby benches me because last week I
- 10:04She thinks that I was doing cartwheels
- 10:06on my other foot, but I wasn't.
- 10:13Walk up on that step and freeze.
- 10:16This Rosa Parks routine is extremely
- 10:19technical, and the girls are so sloppy.
- 10:22The timing was really off. I can't get
- 10:25through more than 5 seconds without
- 10:27stopping somebody to correct something
- 10:29THEY SHOULD ALREADY KNOW. BOTH of you
- 10:31were off the music. We just told Brooke
- 10:34and Paige the same thing. These girls
- 10:37are rehearsing like they're seventh
- 10:39place dancers, not national champions,
- 10:43and I think their mothers are to blame.
- 10:47She can't let you walk out of there
- 10:49feeling good about yourself. She could
- 10:51ruin anything.
- 10:53Holly is angry about the Rosa Parks
- 10:55situation. Kelly is mad about the duet.
- 10:59I don't even want my kid to do it. Why?
- 11:01Because she pretty much said my kid
- 11:03sucks. That's why she never had one. Oh,
- 11:06Kelly, please don't take that away from
- 11:08them.
- 11:09Well, no thanks. I'll pass. Give it to
- 11:12somebody else.
- 11:14Shut up. They have waited forever. Quit
- 11:16stealing their joy. That's Abby's job.
- 11:18If you guys would have walked in here
- 11:20done what we started earlier perfectly,
- 11:23we would be going on right now. But we
- 11:25can't do THAT BECAUSE YOU DON'T REALLY
- 11:27CARE. Who's she yelling at? We're doing
- 11:30a routine about Rosa Parks. She cared.
- 11:33She stood up for it. She was arrested.
- 11:35She went to jail
- 11:37for something she was passionate about.
- 11:39You don't care if you win or not.
- 11:41You care how many Instagram things you
- 11:43get.
- 11:45I'm sick of the negativity. It spreads
- 11:48like wildfire to these girls, and I'm
- 11:50the one left to pick up the pieces, and
- 11:52I've had it.
- 12:01Parents, if you would just stand over
- 12:02here, please.
- 12:06Let's go back to the last competition.
- 12:10Let's give ourselves a round of
- 12:11applause.
- 12:13Last time we saw Abby, we won. We won
- 12:16big time, and boy did it feel good.
- 12:21But my question to you is was it luck?
- 12:27We need to stay on top of things. We
- 12:29need to be at our best, better than our
- 12:32best, every time. So, we won, all is
- 12:35good. We're going to win again when we
- 12:37go to competition. I've always known
- 12:39that my boys are better dancers than
- 12:42Abby's girls, and now Abby knows it,
- 12:44too. I'd like to talk about the pyramid.
- 12:48Brandon,
- 12:49I think that you've got so much to give.
- 12:53You've got this ultimate dazzling smile,
- 12:55but I need to see your dancing dazzle as
- 12:58much as your smile.
- 13:00Nick,
- 13:01do you know how many dancers in the
- 13:02country want this opportunity, and we
- 13:05came after you?
- 13:08Gino,
- 13:10you are like the most fabulous turner.
- 13:13Don't let your
- 13:15perfectionism get in the way so that it
- 13:18becomes a negative, okay?
- 13:20All right. So, that leaves us to the top
- 13:23of the pyramid.
- 13:25Jaylen,
- 13:27yeah.
- 13:29So, we are going to do a dance that's
- 13:32called Candy Apple Style, and it is a
- 13:35takeoff of the Gangnam Style. Yeah. Our
- 13:39group number, it's highlighting Jaylen
- 13:42with all of his hip-hop skills and his
- 13:45crazy moves that he does. I think this
- 13:47is going to knock Abby Lee right off of
- 13:50her height. No, she doesn't wear high
- 13:52heels. It's going to knock her socks
- 13:54off. And then, let's see. We still have
- 13:56to talk about our soloists. Jaylen, you
- 13:59will be doing a a solo this week, okay?
- 14:02Yeah. So, yes.
- 14:04SO,
- 14:05YOU HAVE AN opportunity to knock it out
- 14:08of the park. Abby is going to be
- 14:09completely knocked off her A game when
- 14:12she sees Jaylen. He has hip-hop moves
- 14:16that no one has seen, and he's going to
- 14:18pull all of those out of his little bag
- 14:20of tricks. You guys are just it for me.
- 14:23You're my it boys. We got to have a
- 14:24clean clean sweep this week.
- 14:34Hello.
- 14:35I'm meeting somebody here. She doesn't
- 14:37really dress right for her body. When
- 14:39Holly walks into a room, she should make
- 14:42a statement, but she's not making a very
- 14:44good statement. She has the badonkadonk,
- 14:46you know? And she has the
- 14:48And she has like big bunions, and she
- 14:50wears these short skirts and these
- 14:52open-toed shoes, and you're like, oh my
- 14:53gosh. I'm going to take her on a little
- 14:55shopping spree. I want to revive her
- 14:58look. I'm going to make her fabulous.
- 15:00Oh.
- 15:02Hi. Look, cute store.
- 15:04What you all doing, huh? I
- 15:07She invited me for moral support. You
- 15:08look very nice.
- 15:09Jill, this isn't about you.
- 15:12it's about Holly. I came to help.
- 15:13finally getting something special. It's
- 15:16going to pay off for Nia, but now we
- 15:17can't discuss Nia because you brought
- 15:18another
- 15:19Well, you can discuss Nia. I won't No. I
- 15:21won't listen. I won't say a word. When
- 15:22Holly told me that Abby was going to
- 15:24take her shopping, I really wanted to be
- 15:26there. I know that the role of Rosa
- 15:28Parks hasn't been assigned to any of the
- 15:30dancers yet, and I really want to take
- 15:32this opportunity to speak with Abby and
- 15:35find out what she's looking for. If
- 15:37she's not going to cast Nia, it might as
- 15:39well be Kendall. You have to look like
- 15:41you know how to dress your body. I think
- 15:43I know how to dress myself.
- 15:45Come with me. I'll show you the
- 15:46difference.
- 15:52All of this.
- 15:53The knees, the calves, the ankles, cover
- 15:57it up.
- 16:00Well, these are zeros. Let's move away
- 16:01from here. I found some stuff. How about
- 16:03when two adults are speaking? Excuse me.
- 16:05Excuse me, I found you some Let's get in
- 16:07the dressing room and let's start. Jill,
- 16:10you're not wanted. Normally, Abby's not
- 16:12the type of person I would take fashion
- 16:14advice from, but
- 16:16I want Nia to be considered for Rosa
- 16:17Parks, and if it makes Abby happy to
- 16:19dress me up for a little bit, I'll go
- 16:21right along with it.
- 16:23Abby, yesterday Nia said that you
- 16:25weren't sure who was still doing the
- 16:28Rosa Parks dance.
- 16:30No.
- 16:31And, you know, I keep getting uh thrown
- 16:34under the bus for typecasting.
- 16:37Holly has forever
- 16:40been accusing me of typecasting.
- 16:43You think Holly would want me to give
- 16:45her the part because she deserves it,
- 16:47and that's exactly what I'm going to do.
- 16:49But I have to make Nia earn this role,
- 16:51and that is going to make her a better
- 16:53dancer. So, Abby, what's the status with
- 16:57Rosa Parks? Have you seen the number
- 16:59long enough to figure out who's going to
- 17:01play I just started the number. I didn't
- 17:02even get the props in the studio. Well,
- 17:03that's why I asked what the status is.
- 17:05What are you thinking about it?
- 17:07I can't believe Jill's lobbying for her
- 17:09daughter to take this part away from
- 17:10Nia. Jill, I brought you along to kind
- 17:13of be a buffer, not to absorb
- 17:16opportunities for your child to get
- 17:17ahead. I don't know. I mean, you know,
- 17:19come on. Maddie's the strongest dancer.
- 17:21So, I don't know if I'm going to use her
- 17:23for Rosa Parks and go against type. I
- 17:24have no idea. I I know you want Kendall
- 17:27to work on her face, and if that's what
- 17:29you want, then I need to get that for
- 17:31Kendall. You know what, Jill? If she
- 17:32gets it, she's going to get it on her
- 17:33own. Excuse me, Jill. I'm going to get
- 17:34back to what I'm
- 17:35Okay. Okay.
- 17:36That Jill is just unbelievable. She is
- 17:39shoving her kid down my throat. I want
- 17:41you out of the store. You're not seeing
- 17:43what I'm buying. Go.
- 17:44Poof, be gone.
- 17:53Hey, honey. Come on in.
- 17:56You know, mommy's always busy with the
- 17:57boys and everything, and I don't get to
- 17:59do like privates with you, so this is a
- 18:01good opportunity that I've got some time
- 18:04off. I really miss Vivi being on my team
- 18:07now that I have all boys, but I'm trying
- 18:09to sneak in every opportunity I can to
- 18:12work with her. Nothing makes me happier
- 18:14than watching my baby dance. So, what I
- 18:17wanted to work on today was some ballet
- 18:20technique and stretches, okay? So, let's
- 18:22stand at the bar.
- 18:23Right right hand on the bar.
- 18:25Pull your belly in, press your derriere
- 18:26down, and prepare your arm.
- 18:30Demi and straighten and relevé. Now, I
- 18:33want you to keep your shoulders down.
- 18:34Pull your knees up. Good. Keep your
- 18:36tummy tucked. Keep your tummy tucked in.
- 18:38Press down with your derriere, and lift.
- 18:41Hold. Hold. Come on, hold on. Hold on.
- 18:44Squeeze your derriere. Nice job. Don't
- 18:46roll Roll on those feet. Keep little
- 18:47toes on the ground.
- 18:48Vivi is at this age where she is growing
- 18:50up so fast, and I just don't want to
- 18:53miss anything. I'm trying my hardest to
- 18:55make sure that I have time for her
- 18:57because I don't want to blink my eyes
- 18:59and have my baby all grown up. I have to
- 19:01get back to the boys, okay? And I snuck
- 19:04away so I could spend a couple minutes
- 19:06with you.
- 19:08Love you, honey.
- 19:17Kendall,
- 19:18you have this gorgeous face and get on
- 19:20stage, and there's nothing happening.
- 19:22You try so hard. It's like
- 19:25I get a little sass. I get a little
- 19:28And then, you hit the turns, and you're
- 19:30like this.
- 19:32And your mouth is open, and flies are
- 19:33going to go in there someday. Missed.
- 19:35I'm not sure Kendall will ever be ready
- 19:38to play Rosa Parks, but she must use her
- 19:41face in her solo. All right. Face that
- 19:43way.
- 19:44Shock, surprise.
- 19:47Really? Really, you run around with your
- 19:49hands like this?
- 19:51No. Surprised.
- 19:53I feel like Abby's giving me my own
- 19:55private lesson with my facial
- 19:57expressions.
- 19:59Shocked. 1 2 3
- 20:02It's really weird for Abby to pick me
- 20:05out of everybody to work on something
- 20:08that I need to improve. Evil.
- 20:11No, that's not evil. That's Joey. Evil.
- 20:14I really want to prove to Miss Abby that
- 20:17I can do my facial expressions just as
- 20:19she taught me. Now, let's do happy.
- 20:22Sad.
- 20:24Pouting.
- 20:26See, I'm good at it.
- 20:31When we do the dance and I teach you
- 20:34your lesson,
- 20:35I want to see every one of those faces.
- 20:38If Kendall's not going to act out the
- 20:40emotion during her solo,
- 20:42then she's not going to beat Cathy and
- 20:45I'm finished giving her solos. Well, you
- 20:47know, what's up with the duet? We
- 20:49haven't even heard The what?
- 20:50Who knows? Where's Kendall? I don't know
- 20:52where Kendall is.
- 20:53over it. What was Kendall? Was
- 20:55everything okay? She was sitting in the
- 20:56um
- 20:57dressing room with Abby. They were going
- 20:59over she was going over facial
- 21:01expressions.
- 21:02Oh. For this? No, I'm assuming for her
- 21:04solo, but I wasn't there.
- 21:05Wow. What do you got to do to get like
- 21:07facial expressions? Our kids don't even
- 21:09have choreography.
- 21:11Jill is so ridiculous. She's always
- 21:14sneaking around behind our backs trying
- 21:16to get Kendall ahead. I mean, we have so
- 21:18much going on this week. I really don't
- 21:20think Abby should be wasting her time
- 21:21working on Kendall's faces in a mirror.
- 21:23The way that Abby's telling the story is
- 21:26like it gets kind of
- 21:28lost in translation. You know how Abby
- 21:31starts with a theme and then it develops
- 21:33and then it's kind of not like what she
- 21:35initially told you it was going to be
- 21:36about. I don't even know who's playing
- 21:38Rosa Parks. Every time I look at you,
- 21:40Nia, because you're the obvious choice,
- 21:42your feet are like
- 21:43hooves.
- 21:45You're flexing your foot and you're
- 21:46clenching your toes.
- 21:48We're going to do an epic routine about
- 21:51a woman who changed history. I honestly
- 21:53want Nia to be good enough to play the
- 21:55role of Rosa Parks,
- 21:57but I don't know if she is. This one
- 21:59over here was over there trying to pitch
- 22:02her daughter to Abby as being Rosa
- 22:04Parks.
- 22:05When Holly told me that Jill invited
- 22:07herself to go shopping with Holly and
- 22:09Abby, it didn't surprise me at all. I
- 22:11knew that this was Jill's way of being
- 22:13sneaky and her way of talking to Abby
- 22:16trying to get Kendall the lead. You
- 22:18actually asked her for that part. No.
- 22:20What No, I said
- 22:23it it would be a good part for Kendall
- 22:26because she needs to work on her acting
- 22:28and her face.
- 22:30I really think you're like delusional
- 22:32about Jill.
- 22:33Give it to Kendall.
- 22:35I don't understand why these moms are so
- 22:37upset over this. Their kids get lead
- 22:40roles all the time. Kendall does not.
- 22:42Kendall always gets overlooked. Here's
- 22:45an opportunity for my child to have a
- 22:47lead role and it's driving them crazy.
- 22:50I'm the only one who gets in trouble for
- 22:51wanting something for my child.
- 22:53none of us do crazy stuff like you do to
- 22:55get ahead.
- 22:55I do crazy? You asked Abby if Kendall
- 22:58could be Rosa Parks.
- 23:06I'm the only one who gets in trouble for
- 23:07wanting something.
- 23:09You asked Abby if Kendall could be Rosa
- 23:11Parks. That's
- 23:12No, I didn't. You weren't there. Kendall
- 23:14never had a special part, people. I
- 23:16think every one of your kids has. Jill
- 23:18will do anything for a special part even
- 23:21if it means that Kendall is Rosa Parks.
- 23:23Really?
- 23:25If anybody is Rosa Parks but Nia,
- 23:28I'm not watching the dance.
- 23:30And I don't think that anyone should be
- 23:32Rosa Parks but Nia.
- 23:35Why? These moms are coming down on me so
- 23:38hard, I I can't stand it. We think you
- 23:42should go down and say, "You know what?
- 23:44I think I was mistaken. I don't think
- 23:46that this would be a good part for
- 23:47Kendall. I think Nia fits this role."
- 23:51Just act stupid and be like, "I thought
- 23:52Rosa Parks was somebody different."
- 23:57I thought she was
- 23:58an immigrant.
- 24:00girl with brown hair AND BROWN EYES.
- 24:06ABBY, DO YOU have a minute? I just need
- 24:08to let you know that Christi and Kelly
- 24:10are going berserk
- 24:12that they think Kendall is playing Rosa
- 24:15Parks.
- 24:16Oh, wait. Let me just say for the
- 24:18record, she just threw all of us under
- 24:19the bus. The moms said Kendall can't be
- 24:22Rosa Parks. What do you think? Nia needs
- 24:25to think she has competition. I can't
- 24:27just hand it to her on a platter.
- 24:28Healthy competition is good for every
- 24:30dancer. But, leave it to the moms to get
- 24:33involved and mess it all up. But, why is
- 24:36that bimbo running this studio? It would
- 24:39make perfect sense for Nia to play Rosa
- 24:41Parks. They badgered me and badgered me
- 24:43until I gave
- 24:44dance. I did because I had
- 24:45So, you just took your kid
- 24:48and put her on the back burner for
- 24:50somebody else.
- 24:53Kendall's never had special parts. So,
- 24:55this might be the last one the poor kid
- 24:57ever gets. And here I am letting these
- 24:59moms badger me into taking it away from
- 25:02her. I can't win, really.
- 25:05Kendall, your mother just took you out
- 25:07of the running for Rosa Parks.
- 25:10Nia,
- 25:13you will be playing the part of Rosa
- 25:15Parks.
- 25:18This is a huge lead role,
- 25:20so you better make me proud. I'm not
- 25:22sure what caused Abby not to give Nia
- 25:25the part of Rosa Parks from day one, but
- 25:27I'm glad Nia has it now.
- 25:35HEY, KELLY!
- 25:37YES?
- 25:39Kelly has been so negative since I
- 25:41assigned Paige a duet with Chloe. Paige
- 25:44has a duet? It's hard, it's difficult
- 25:47and I want her to embrace that and I
- 25:49want her to do it. I need Kelly to be
- 25:52supportive of Paige, not to sabotage
- 25:54your own kid with her negativity. You
- 25:56give her the duet and it's all negative.
- 25:59So, it's like Chloe sucks just like you,
- 26:03so you're getting a duet. But, go out
- 26:04there and do it well.
- 26:06Well, I think she needs to come in there
- 26:07and try to prove me wrong. Okay. Be
- 26:09tougher. Be stronger. I hope she does.
- 26:19All right, girls.
- 26:20This is it. Show me what you've got.
- 26:23Oh, look the duet. Yeah.
- 26:27I don't know if I want Paige to do the
- 26:28duet. You know, I think Abby's setting
- 26:31her up for failure
- 26:32and I don't want to put my kid through
- 26:33that.
- 26:39Broadway Blondes is a sassy hot jazz
- 26:42number. It accentuates the beautiful
- 26:45long lines and legs on Paige and Chloe.
- 26:53Ugh.
- 26:54That's horrible. That's four stars
- 26:56clearly on the left leg. I want them to
- 26:58dance well. I want them to do good. I I
- 27:00just want it to be a happy thing for
- 27:01those two.
- 27:03I think you're capable of doing more
- 27:04things together.
- 27:06You need to be in sync. You need to
- 27:07mirror each other.
- 27:09I think it could be great. I don't think
- 27:11it's great yet. I need Paige to really
- 27:14pay attention to the choreography if
- 27:16she's going to be any match for Chloe's
- 27:18technique.
- 27:19All right.
- 27:20Chloe, you're dismissed. Paige, I want
- 27:21to talk to you for a second.
- 27:23Oh, god. If Abby asks about my kid about
- 27:27this duet, I'm pulling it. I'm not
- 27:29letting Abby treat my kid this way.
- 27:31Paige,
- 27:32you have it all.
- 27:34You're tall, you're lean, you're
- 27:37gorgeous,
- 27:39but you don't go through A and B and C
- 27:42to get to D.
- 27:44You think you can just skip over it. I
- 27:46know I'm tough on Paige, but that's my
- 27:48job. I need to correct her mistakes and
- 27:50make her a better dancer. It's Kelly's
- 27:53job as the mom to build her daughter up
- 27:55with confidence and be her cheerleader,
- 27:58but Kelly's not doing it. So, now it's
- 28:00my job. If you want to be better than
- 28:02Chloe,
- 28:04then you want to be better than Maddie
- 28:05and better than Kendall and better than
- 28:07your sister,
- 28:08you have to work more.
- 28:12Well, like
- 28:13I I think this is very good that Abby's
- 28:15talking to Paige like this.
- 28:17I
- 28:18She should do this more often. If you
- 28:20don't like what I have to say,
- 28:23you have two options.
- 28:25You either quit
- 28:27and I'll never see you again
- 28:29or you come back in here and you prove
- 28:31me wrong.
- 28:33Make me eat crow.
- 28:36All right. Go. Nia, hug.
- 28:38See you.
- 28:40I don't think Paige knows what eat crow
- 28:42means.
- 28:43I'll explain that to her though cuz I'd
- 28:45like to have her make Abby eat crow.
- 28:48A little more than that. Her with a
- 28:50little on top.
- 28:56Come on, Maddie. Let's do it. Breaking
- 29:00down the wall.
- 29:03Are you going to break down the wall?
- 29:05Or is the wall going to be nice and
- 29:08strong and you're like
- 29:10and you're against the wall and you're
- 29:11like splat.
- 29:12Maddie's dance this week is called
- 29:14Breaking Down Walls.
- 29:16It's a contemporary piece
- 29:19and it's just saying, you know, breaking
- 29:21down the walls. I'm trying to get back
- 29:22to first place.
- 29:24You need to use your STOMACH ON YOUR
- 29:26JUMPS.
- 29:28BACK LIKE HIGHER, STRAIGHTER. Each week
- 29:30I think Maddie's choreography gets
- 29:33better and better. This dance this week
- 29:35is so difficult. I'm really excited to
- 29:38see it on stage.
- 29:42I have to show you the cutest thing.
- 29:45So cute. Mackenzie like locks herself in
- 29:48her bedroom. I went on her computer. So
- 29:52McKenzie's been doing all these
- 29:53tutorials and so cute. Melissa is
- 29:56hilarious sometimes. We all know that
- 29:58Melissa thinks Maddie is the best dancer
- 30:00and she can't help bragging about it to
- 30:02anyone who cares.
- 30:05But who knew that McKenzie was the star
- 30:07makeup artist?
- 30:09Where'd she get the idea to do that? I
- 30:11don't know.
- 30:12So she not only did the tutorial,
- 30:15filmed herself, had her materials, and
- 30:17then she actually put it up on the
- 30:19internet.
- 30:20What? So Melissa, you're telling me you
- 30:23let her in a room by herself and you
- 30:25don't know what she's doing behind a
- 30:27locked door? But you know she figured
- 30:29out how to get my credit card number to
- 30:31do iTunes. Ooh, It's hard for
- 30:34McKenzie sometimes to be in Maddie's
- 30:36shadow and I'm glad for her because
- 30:38she's not dancing. So it's really nice
- 30:40that she's like the little makeup star
- 30:41this week.
- 30:44Big fourth arabesque. Push.
- 30:47Cross in front soutenu contract.
- 30:51Forward tendu.
- 30:53And easy.
- 30:55Easy.
- 30:56Easy. Maddie is nailing the technique in
- 31:00this routine. But I have to make sure
- 31:03that she's also nailing the emotional
- 31:05execution. The wall crumbles
- 31:09and now suddenly you realize that you
- 31:11broke it down and you're leaving and
- 31:13you're on your way.
- 31:15And you got to say goodbye to her
- 31:17and McKenzie and everybody else. What?
- 31:20Now when you're headed to stardom, you
- 31:21can't take along the whole group.
- 31:24All right. It's better without them.
- 31:29Okay. I thank you.
- 31:32All right. This is Nia who is now
- 31:35playing the role of Rosa Parks.
- 31:36Thank you.
- 31:37Yeah, cuz Joe gave it up.
- 31:40Oh, Abby is never going to let me live
- 31:42this down and neither will those moms.
- 31:44She's pretty. They're cute. You want to
- 31:47set that on and we'll just see. I like
- 31:49the big hat. I think that that would be
- 31:52a good church hat for you, Dr. Holly.
- 31:54CAN I HAVE AN AMEN? AMEN.
- 31:57LADIES, GET home and get packed.
- 31:59Tomorrow morning I want to see the girls
- 32:00here. They have to run all these numbers
- 32:03before they get on that bus.
- 32:05All right. Go go go go go. Thank you.
- 32:15Our group number is called Candyapples
- 32:18style. It's a K-pop number and there's a
- 32:21lot of funky jazz.
- 32:23We'll go up even like that. Boom. Boom.
- 32:26Anthony Burrell is an in-demand
- 32:28choreographer. He has worked with such
- 32:31entertainers as Jay-Z and Beyoncé. We
- 32:34are incredibly lucky to have him help us
- 32:37go against the ALDC team.
- 32:39Five, six, seven, eight. Ba ba ba.
- 32:43Anthony is quite an artiste and he wants
- 32:47to make sure that we all know that.
- 32:50And and that's that's the energy that
- 32:52I'm missing from you guys. You guys got
- 32:53all these amazing tricks, but you have
- 32:55no pop. He is extremely hard on the
- 32:58boys. Stop punching that foot like that.
- 33:00Point it. Point it all the way.
- 33:03Boom. Yes. Point it. Stretch that knee.
- 33:06That's how you stretch your foot. Don't
- 33:08sit on top of it punching it. Put your
- 33:11hands down.
- 33:12Come again. And five again.
- 33:15Don't baby these guys. They're boys.
- 33:17They need men in their life. They need
- 33:19men. Do you like affection? I like
- 33:20affection, but
- 33:22outside of the studio.
- 33:23Cathy is easy on those guys. She treats
- 33:26them like they're little girls and
- 33:27there's no space for that. Tell them to
- 33:29do 25 push-ups, you know? We can't have
- 33:32our boys as dainty as the girls on the
- 33:34dance floor. I don't want you baby That
- 33:35doesn't happen in my studio when I'm
- 33:37with boys. Well, you just said a
- 33:38mouthful, darling. In your studio. We're
- 33:40in my studio.
- 33:41Okay. And that's And exactly, since it's
- 33:43your studio, did you want to do this?
- 33:46I'm absolutely not the type of person
- 33:47that will back down from Cathy. Whenever
- 33:49I step in the studio, I don't care if
- 33:50this is your studio, your house. You
- 33:52invite me here, this is my room. I can't
- 33:55choreograph with you sitting over here
- 33:56on my over my shoulder like this.
- 33:57sitting over your shoulder. Now I could
- 33:59be sitting on your lap. Would you like
- 34:01that?
- 34:03You You figure the combination out.
- 34:04Okay, fine.
- 34:05Go count to 10.
- 34:07Maybe take 10 dance classes.
- 34:19Don't baby these guys. They're boys. Go
- 34:21count to 10. Maybe take 10 dance
- 34:23classes.
- 34:28This lady is tripping, man.
- 34:31I don't need a watchdog over my back,
- 34:33you know, when I'm when I'm being
- 34:34creative and I I can't work like this. I
- 34:36just can't. That's why she always gets
- 34:38slaughtered by Abby. She's a handful,
- 34:40you know? She She's very opinionated.
- 34:42She has her hand in in all the pots. I
- 34:44do know that she comes off a little
- 34:46strong and then
- 34:48um
- 34:49she will listen to reason.
- 34:51But let me just chill off a little bit.
- 34:54Just cuz this this is her house. This is
- 34:55her school.
- 34:56Thanks, man. It's good though, man.
- 34:57Yeah, she She's definitely a handful,
- 34:59but you know, I respect her, you know?
- 35:00You know, I respect what she does.
- 35:04You feeling better? Mhm.
- 35:10This is it. You're getting on a bus.
- 35:12You're going to Cincinnati and you're
- 35:15going to see your old dancing teacher
- 35:16there. The one your mother thought was
- 35:18better than me. Cathy does not get any
- 35:21credit for Kendall. I don't care. She
- 35:23taught her nothing. You're going to get
- 35:24out there and dance against her kids.
- 35:27Don't lose.
- 35:33There's a lot of pressure on Kendall to
- 35:35win this week.
- 35:38More energy. Face. Face. That gorgeous
- 35:41face is the key to scoring high with the
- 35:44judges. Face. Face. Face. Face. Come on.
- 35:47Get away from that mirror. Breathe.
- 35:49Breathe. Breathe. Face is bad. BAD. BAD.
- 35:52DO SOMETHING WITH THAT FACE.
- 35:54GO SIT IN FRONT OF THAT MIRROR and work
- 35:56on those faces.
- 35:57Miss Abby really wants to focus on my
- 36:00face and I agree with her because I need
- 36:02some work.
- 36:05Happy.
- 36:06Excited.
- 36:08Mad.
- 36:10Evil. It's really funny doing facial
- 36:13expressions with Kendall. Good.
- 36:15I'm like Miss Abby and I'm like telling
- 36:18her what to do. Excited.
- 36:20After a while, I think we were just
- 36:22making up faces. We were having so much
- 36:24fun and we didn't want to stop.
- 36:26Do what Miss Abby does best.
- 36:36Since we beat Abby, we have had so much
- 36:39local support. We're practically famous
- 36:42around town.
- 36:45So I thought that it was about time to
- 36:47give the outside of our studio a
- 36:49facelift and today is the day that we're
- 36:51showing it off.
- 36:54Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to
- 36:56Candyapples. Cathy, it's my privilege
- 36:58and honor to present you with this
- 36:59plaque commemorating your victory over
- 37:01Abby Lee's Dance Studio.
- 37:03Oh, thank you so much. Today is
- 37:06Candyapples Day. I would like to make
- 37:08everyday Candyapples Day. Do you agree?
- 37:20I'd love for you to do the honors.
- 37:26We are winners and now our studio looks
- 37:29like a place where winners dance.
- 37:31guys. We're open for business. Let's go.
- 37:37All right, Maddie. Come on.
- 37:38The name of the song is Breaking Down
- 37:41the Wall. That's what I need to see you
- 37:42do.
- 37:44Go get help. Get out that way. Get out
- 37:46there. Nice.
- 37:48This routine is exquisite.
- 37:50It shows that Maddie truly is a star and
- 37:54I'm going to do everything I can to make
- 37:56sure she reaches her full potential.
- 37:58Come on. These are the points. Come on.
- 38:01Come on. Hold on. Hold on. Press down.
- 38:03Longer knees. There you go. Nice. And
- 38:06beating Cathy is just the cherry on top.
- 38:09You're going up against boys.
- 38:11You know you can win.
- 38:13You've done it already.
- 38:16Did you see that Cathy redecorated?
- 38:19She got a facelift at Candyapples.
- 38:22What I gather on the internet, it seems
- 38:23that Cathy has painted exterior of her
- 38:26studio. It's all the money she's making.
- 38:28They look like big tomatoes. Let me see.
- 38:30I got to look. Wait, are those deers
- 38:32jumping out? Everything Cathy touches
- 38:35turns tacky. She has these big red
- 38:37tomatoes painted on her wall. The
- 38:39dancers look like they have deer antlers
- 38:43coming out of their heads.
- 38:44I would like to know she spelled
- 38:45Candyapples cuz she had an apple like
- 38:48the apple owns the studio. Cathy
- 38:50probably thinks she's so high class
- 38:52because she painted her building.
- 39:02You're about Jaylen's size. In coming
- 39:04with me here today, I want you to be my
- 39:08model. Can you do that for me? I have to
- 39:11do some shopping for Jaylen's solo
- 39:13costume and I thought that I could spend
- 39:15some one-on-one time with Vivi. Because
- 39:18Jaylen moves on his head and that sort
- 39:20of stuff, I need to see if the costumes
- 39:22are going to move. So can you like break
- 39:24that out on the floor for me at any
- 39:25moment?
- 39:27Let's Let's start out with the police
- 39:29uniform. Do you think that you can try
- 39:31this on?
- 39:34Oh.
- 39:35OH.
- 39:37OH, do we know Who muffin man? What the
- 39:42heck is this doing?
- 39:44I see. Maybe he could be like a
- 39:47motorcycle person. It's short.
- 39:50Bam! And pose.
- 39:52It's a bit long.
- 39:54Push it and throw it.
- 39:56That was good, honey. Do you think that
- 39:59he would look like he's from Wall
- 40:01Street? Yeah. Do you know what Wall
- 40:04Street is?
- 40:04No. No, okay.
- 40:06Yeah, it was a movie, honey. It was a
- 40:08movie. Just let me see what a couple of
- 40:10these things look like. You make without
- 40:13a doubt
- 40:15the cutest
- 40:17cowboy to rob a bank.
- 40:19All right. Well, I think that we've got
- 40:21what we need.
- 40:23Vivie, hurry up, honey. Let's get your
- 40:24clothes on. Okay.
- 40:30I have costumes for Chloe and Paige,
- 40:34your duet costumes.
- 40:37Ooh, I see ruffles.
- 40:40Now, you're going to wear black fishnet
- 40:41tights, black jazz shoes. I thought they
- 40:44were Broadway. No,
- 40:46they're girls. Well, the name of the
- 40:47dance is Broadway Blondes.
- 40:49Yeah. There's not much fabric on those,
- 40:51Abby. Yeah. All right, go try it on.
- 40:53Let's see. Go ahead.
- 40:55These costumes are ridiculous. They're
- 40:56more for Vegas than Broadway.
- 41:03They are gorgeous.
- 41:05Rose between two thorns. They're more
- 41:08for Vegas than Broadway. Are you sure
- 41:11the judges aren't going to think these
- 41:13are too skimpy for their age?
- 41:17No.
- 41:19You guys like the costumes? Yeah.
- 41:21The duet costume is pushing it, but if I
- 41:23go to Abby and complain, she's going to
- 41:24take the duet away from Chloe and Paige.
- 41:26I don't know if I want them wearing
- 41:27those costumes in front of the boys. I
- 41:29guess I'll just look at these costumes
- 41:31and imagine that it's just a swimsuit
- 41:33and they're at the pool. Come on, girls.
- 41:34Let's get back in there. Let's go. Let's
- 41:36go.
- 41:39You know what? We're on borrowed time
- 41:40here, so we need you to get moving. I do
- 41:42this with Vivie every morning. I wonder
- 41:45if it's possible to just
- 41:47build this shirt on the front of this
- 41:49shirt. The name of Jaylen's routine is
- 41:52working 9 to 5 and he is going to
- 41:54portray three different professions.
- 41:57He's incorporating his dance skills
- 42:00along with movable take-off props.
- 42:03Do it again. See if that was luck.
- 42:06Oh. And between the intricate costume
- 42:09changes and Anthony's tough way of
- 42:13teaching,
- 42:14I hope that Jaylen can learn this
- 42:16routine. Boom, big big timing. You go
- 42:19toss, boom. So, look. First of all, you
- 42:21got to look where you're throwing so you
- 42:23can see boom boom pop so you can know
- 42:26the timing where it was going. See where
- 42:27it's going?
- 42:30Oh. Mix it. Mix it. I have a I have a I
- 42:33have a really good idea. From this
- 42:34position, Jaylen, that you have the rag
- 42:36in your hand, is this the transition
- 42:38position? Yeah.
- 42:40Once you go from here, spin into a ninja
- 42:43drop, then you can come up changing.
- 42:45It's kind of disrespectful to a
- 42:46choreographer when there's an outside
- 42:49voice
- 42:50hovering over your shoulder. But, you
- 42:52can almost just leave that on the floor
- 42:54when you get up from your ninja and
- 42:56disrobe and come forward. His father
- 42:57doesn't have the experience that I have
- 42:59of a stage performer.
- 43:08Come on, girls. We're ready to go. I'm
- 43:10questioning whether I ever should have
- 43:12given Chloe and Paige a duet. Paige is
- 43:14the one who begged me for this duet
- 43:17and I figured since Chloe wasn't at her
- 43:19peak, this would be the perfect time to
- 43:21bring these two girls together. But
- 43:23right now, Paige is not cutting it and I
- 43:27know it's because of Kelly's bad
- 43:29attitude.
- 43:34Come on, match your faces. I'm hoping
- 43:36that Paige and Chloe can dance in sync
- 43:39because if two dancers doing a duet
- 43:41aren't in sync, it's a disaster.
- 43:44Now, these girls really need to focus,
- 43:46especially Paige. two
- 43:48three four and exit.
- 43:53Paige tried her duet costume on last
- 43:55night.
- 43:56They're wearing fishnets, which makes it
- 43:57even worse.
- 44:00And And how about the music?
- 44:02This isn't so Broadway Blondie. I know
- 44:04Kelly is really struggling with the
- 44:06duet. The costumes are skimpy. Yes, the
- 44:09music is racy, but we really just have
- 44:11to make the best of it if we want our
- 44:13girls to have the chance to be featured.
- 44:15Do you like the duet? I don't want it if
- 44:17that's the attitude she's going to have
- 44:18towards it.
- 44:20You guys wouldn't have liked it if she
- 44:21presented it to your kids that way,
- 44:23either. I thought she was mean to Chloe,
- 44:24too.
- 44:27You know, Kel, you might be my friend,
- 44:29but you better not try to take this away
- 44:30from Chloe. She needs this. I mean, she
- 44:32needs a chance to shine.
- 44:34I'm just got to go with it.
- 44:47So, I tend to think that, you know, they
- 44:48like to really come out and and impress
- 44:50the girls.
- 44:52So, let's let them do it. It's fun to
- 44:54perform in front of your peers. So, I
- 44:56asked the girls if they wouldn't mind
- 44:58being a live audience for the group
- 45:01number of the boys.
- 45:09FIVE, SIX, THREE, FOUR, FIVE, SIX. TURN
- 45:13AND ONE, TWO.
- 45:15TURN.
- 45:19FIVE, FIVE. JAYLEN, WHAT YOU DOING, MAN?
- 45:22YOU missed your cue. Make it happen.
- 45:24This is showtime. You have an audience
- 45:25here. Jaylen, why did you miss your cue?
- 45:27Jaylen.
- 45:29Jaylen.
- 45:31It's because you don't pay attention in
- 45:32rehearsal. That's why. This is what
- 45:34happens. You have to take precaution. If
- 45:35it happens on stage, what are you going
- 45:36to do?
- 45:37I missed my cue because of what?
- 45:40Somebody was there, come out. Do your
- 45:42thing. It doesn't matter. Jaylen missed
- 45:44his cue and that is not good. He is the
- 45:47star of this routine and we need to have
- 45:49him nail this.
- 45:50I'm only screaming at you because I
- 45:52care, you know? So, you can get your
- 45:54moment, man. You know, I'm depending on
- 45:56you to to make this that that that
- 45:57section pop. I want you to be the best
- 45:59that you can be.
- 46:00Yeah?
- 46:04Jaylen is my child and if for someone to
- 46:08yell at him in that manner,
- 46:11I would usually
- 46:13get up and take control of the
- 46:14situation.
- 46:18It's hard for me to stand by and watch
- 46:21Anthony be so hard on the boys,
- 46:23especially Jaylen.
- 46:25I just hope that they can shake this
- 46:27performance off and get out any mistakes
- 46:30now so that they can be perfect for
- 46:32tomorrow.
- 46:42The little line. The line, whatever you
- 46:45want.
- 46:48I'm in the den and I'm doing all the
- 46:50girls' makeup because I'm really bored.
- 46:54I have hiccups. So, what? I'm putting
- 46:57lip gloss on you, make you look classy.
- 47:02Ooh.
- 47:03I got it in my mouth.
- 47:05That doesn't look right.
- 47:07Hey, hey.
- 47:08You can chill. Cool.
- 47:10What's going on? Nothing.
- 47:13Nothing? You were doing nothing? I was
- 47:15doing your makeup.
- 47:16You're doing makeup? Well, that's okay.
- 47:17What you all doing makeup? I'm going to
- 47:18sit down cuz I don't like this lipstick
- 47:20I have on, so hit me up.
- 47:22Mackenzie is benched this week, but that
- 47:25doesn't mean I can't put her to work.
- 47:28Is that better? Mhm. That's better. Is
- 47:30that better?
- 47:32Since you like doing makeup so much, you
- 47:34can be in charge of the makeup this
- 47:36weekend. You're going to do the whole
- 47:37group and guess who you're going to
- 47:38start with.
- 47:39Who?
- 47:40MADDIE.
- 47:43NO, SHE WOULDN'T LET ME DO HER MAKEUP.
- 47:45SHE'S NOT IN CHARGE. I'm in charge. I
- 47:47say you're doing it.
- 47:48I'm really nervous that I might mess up
- 47:50the makeup. I don't want Miss Abby to
- 47:52yell at me.
- 47:54I'm done. We have hats.
- 47:55Not only is the Rosa Parks piece
- 47:58artistry in motion,
- 48:00but they also have a lot of props to
- 48:02deal with. They have hats and bus seats
- 48:05and there's not a lot of time to master
- 48:07them. Brooke, your feet can't come apart
- 48:09and be a mess. You need to really pull
- 48:11up through your spine and tuck your head
- 48:12under. NOW, WIGGLE YOUR FEET, BROOKE.
- 48:14WIGGLE THEM. TIMING. THE FURTHEST flex
- 48:17there.
- 48:18I want this to be one of those big
- 48:20award-winning numbers and these girls
- 48:23are not ready to compete.
- 48:25And we're leaving in a few minutes. The
- 48:27Abby Lee Dance Company needs a victory.
- 48:29We need to beat Cathy. Nia, you are
- 48:32portraying Rosa Parks, a great American
- 48:35hero. You're going to tell the story?
- 48:36Are you going to be a strong woman? Are
- 48:38you going to change history on the
- 48:40stage?
- 48:46Now, listen, girls. Please stop. Stop.
- 48:48Take the earplugs out. Pay attention.
- 48:52We are going to Ohio
- 48:54and you know what that means.
- 48:56I do not want
- 49:00to lose to Cathy.
- 49:02The last time we faced Cathy, she beat
- 49:04us and that can't ever happen again.
- 49:07Now, I've tried really hard to create
- 49:10better team unity
- 49:12and this team needs to lead us to
- 49:14victory.
- 49:21Nia,
- 49:22would you come up and tell us a little
- 49:24what you learned about Rosa Parks
- 49:26while you were researching? Nia stayed
- 49:28up all night making this poster of Rosa
- 49:29Parks. This is not just any role. This
- 49:32is a role about a woman who changed
- 49:33history for me and for many others and I
- 49:36couldn't be proud of Nia to have the
- 49:38opportunity to teach people about Rosa
- 49:40Parks. She
- 49:42sat down on the bus and they asked her
- 49:44to move and she politely didn't say
- 49:46anything and she just
- 49:48sat there. I'm proud of Nia. She came in
- 49:52with this full-blown poster about Rosa
- 49:54Parks. I'm glad she's taking the role
- 49:56seriously because if you're going to win
- 49:58it, you have to want it.
- 50:03This is a little something that when I
- 50:05saw it, I thought of you. Jill, stop.
- 50:08I know you wanted Kendall to be Rosa. I
- 50:10know you wanted me to just No, I didn't.
- 50:14No.
- 50:15I want Kendall to have opportunities and
- 50:17you're giving them to her and that's all
- 50:18I want.
- 50:20Very nice of this.
- 50:23After Nia shares her poster with Abby,
- 50:25Jill slides in and gives Abby a
- 50:27necklace.
- 50:28This woman is ridiculous. She's trying
- 50:30to bribe her with gifts? She'll do
- 50:32whatever she can to get her daughter
- 50:34ahead.
- 50:46Hi. Hi, nice to see you. Candy Apples.
- 50:48Nice. We're checking in. All right.
- 50:57Run girls. Let's go. Let's go.
- 51:00Oh, I feel the earth move under my feet.
- 51:05We're here at Power House Dance
- 51:06competition in Cincinnati, Ohio.
- 51:09And I am on a mission to win. I just
- 51:12have to keep my blinders on from any and
- 51:14all distraction. Hey boys, we could be
- 51:17cocky. We won last time. Remember that.
- 51:20Hi, how are you? Hey, excuse me for just
- 51:24a moment. Hi. Don't touch me. Oh,
- 51:26bodyguards.
- 51:28After that last assault. Cathy needs a
- 51:31bodyguard like I need another psycho mom
- 51:34at my dance studio. She's the one that
- 51:36hit me. I'm the one that should hire a
- 51:38bodyguard. I didn't even know the lid
- 51:40was off. You know what? Cuz I didn't
- 51:41mean to do that either.
- 51:45I want to thank you guys for being
- 51:46beside me
- 51:48because you never know when water's
- 51:50going to fly out of their hands or a
- 51:52fist. Who said they saw Cathy with a
- 51:54bodyguard? She does not have a
- 51:56bodyguard. That's funny. She's the one
- 51:59that comes up uh,
- 52:01you know, with her insults and then
- 52:02starts beating on you.
- 52:05Okay, water doesn't HURT ME. GROW UP.
- 52:07YOU grow up. If Cathy makes her if she
- 52:10makes herself feel good with having like
- 52:13two grown up cops walk around, like
- 52:14that's the only way Cathy can get men to
- 52:16hang out with her. Either bribe them to
- 52:17be on her team or pay them to guard her.
- 52:19Cathy needs bodyguards? She's the one
- 52:22who accosted all of us. I mean, Cathy
- 52:24has hit me twice, thrown water on me,
- 52:26thrown water on Abby, beat Abby with a
- 52:29purse, tried to beat Jill with a purse,
- 52:31and threw water on her. I think of
- 52:33anything, we need a bodyguard and a
- 52:35sponge.
- 52:36Holly,
- 52:37what do you have on? Clothing. Let me
- 52:40see. This is an Abby authorized outfit.
- 52:43No.
- 52:44You can do better. Holly, I'm trying to
- 52:46pizzazz you up, all right?
- 52:48Oh lord.
- 52:50How about if you take this, everything's
- 52:52in here, and jump behind the dressing
- 52:54room and get yourself changed. Here I am
- 52:56getting a costume from Abby just like
- 52:58the girls getting costumes and I have to
- 53:00try it on
- 53:02in the back and come out and show all my
- 53:05costume.
- 53:07Ready for me? Yes.
- 53:12You're beautiful.
- 53:14This is Abby's ensemble and this makes a
- 53:17statement though. You walk in, I'm here.
- 53:21Rosa Parks wouldn't walk in
- 53:23like
- 53:24me and little Nia. But what was it about
- 53:26Holly that you didn't like that you felt
- 53:28you needed to change? I gave Nia the
- 53:30part of Rosa Parks.
- 53:32She's a star. And now Holly looks like a
- 53:35leading lady, too. Mackenzie,
- 53:38come on over here. I don't know if all
- 53:40the moms heard or not. You think they
- 53:41know what your role is here?
- 53:43What your job's going to be?
- 53:46Yes. Mackenzie is the official makeup
- 53:48artist for the Abby Lee Dance Company.
- 53:51She's going to do all the girls' makeup
- 53:53and the moms have no say in the matter.
- 53:56Jill,
- 53:57as soon as you get that hair finished
- 53:58over there, Mackenzie's going to start
- 54:00with Kendall. So, I want to see
- 54:02Mackenzie's work first.
- 54:03Oh, no, no, no, no. Kendall's first.
- 54:06Usually Maddie does Mackenzie's makeup.
- 54:08I know. Mackenzie's not the makeup guru,
- 54:10Maddie is. Well, she sure was the makeup
- 54:12guru the other day, weren't you?
- 54:16So, make sure the makeup helps her
- 54:18facial expressions.
- 54:20All righty. All right. Let's go.
- 54:23I don't think Mackenzie is qualified to
- 54:25do makeup on six girls
- 54:28right before competition.
- 54:31Yeah, do one more little bit little bit
- 54:32darker. That's great. You did good. Just
- 54:35a little That's really dark, yeah. I'm
- 54:37excited that Mackenzie gets a special
- 54:39job for the competition. She's not
- 54:40dancing, so this is something special
- 54:42for her to do. Okay. Okay.
- 54:46This one here?
- 54:47Uh-huh.
- 54:54I think I did a pretty good job. It was
- 54:56hard, but I pulled it off. Did you do
- 54:59Kendall or I see her mother over there
- 55:00wiping off your work?
- 55:01No, I'm wiping off the lipstick that
- 55:03ended up up here by accident. She looks
- 55:05great. She did a great job.
- 55:08She's lying.
- 55:09Okay, Mad.
- 55:11Oh, I love it. I look like Cinderella.
- 55:15The girls look great and it's time to go
- 55:17out there and win. I need my soloists to
- 55:20beat Cathy.
- 55:22All right, let's do this.
- 55:25Right now it's time for the intimidation
- 55:27face. Nose up,
- 55:29chin out,
- 55:31confidence.
- 55:40All right, let's do this. Come on. Come
- 55:42on. Go. Go. Go. Go. Go.
- 55:43Go.
- 55:44Unhappy faces and
- 55:47unhappy face from her as well.
- 55:50Okay, Kendall has worked really hard on
- 55:52her facial expressions this week and I
- 55:55hope she goes out there and nails this
- 55:57number to remind Abby she should give
- 55:59her more solos. All right, here we go in
- 56:01the junior small group division. This is
- 56:04Kendall with Look
- 56:05at Me Now.
- 56:08GO KENDALL.
- 56:10WOO.
- 57:56STRAIGHT LEGS. COME ON.
- 58:26KENDALL LOOKED GREAT. She's shining
- 58:28bright and she deserves that.
- 58:34Maddie is under a lot of pressure right
- 58:35now. She hasn't gotten first place in
- 58:37the last few weeks and she wants to
- 58:39please Miss Abby. So, this is big big.
- 58:42This has to be a win for her.
- 58:50WOOHOO.
- 59:14IF
- 59:15MILES WERE ONLY
- 59:17EVENTS,
- 59:19MONTHS COULD
- 59:21take like seconds.
- 59:23It wouldn't
- 59:25be that easy
- 59:27for me.
- 59:31It wouldn't
- 59:33fill the
- 1:01:13Maddie has the makings of a star.
- 1:01:16Already, she performs like a seasoned
- 1:01:19professional. Take that, Cathy.
- 1:01:23Jaylen's solo is unlike any other
- 1:01:26routine at this competition. I just hope
- 1:01:28that he can make his costume changes
- 1:01:31because with this performance, we can
- 1:01:33win. All right. Up next in the junior
- 1:01:36solo division, we have Jaylen with
- 1:01:37working 9 to 5.
- 1:01:57Nice, Jaylen.
- 1:02:19Uh-oh. Jaylen couldn't get the costume
- 1:02:21change done and he's off the music.
- 1:02:25This is not good.
- 1:02:50Even after all of the special time that
- 1:02:52we made for Jaylen to rehearse the
- 1:02:54costume changes, he still misses it.
- 1:03:13Jay, you were good. There was nothing
- 1:03:16wrong with the handkerchief.
- 1:03:17going to win with this stupid
- 1:03:18performance.
- 1:03:19you did everything perfectly. What are
- 1:03:21you talking about? I'm sure that he's
- 1:03:23taking this slip-up really hard.
- 1:03:26He needs to just move on because he
- 1:03:28finished strong. It's possible that the
- 1:03:30judges won't even notice.
- 1:03:34You still knocked it out the box like a
- 1:03:36performer supposed to do. No one didn't
- 1:03:38know that wasn't in your routine. It is
- 1:03:40not your fault. Cuz I want to do good. I
- 1:03:43know you did.
- 1:03:44You didn't do good, you did great.
- 1:03:47Maddie, it's okay.
- 1:03:49It's all right.
- 1:03:55Good job, girls. GOOD JOB, GIRLS.
- 1:03:58GIRLS, HIGH FIVE.
- 1:04:00OH my god, THAT WAS SO GOOD. OH my
- 1:04:03goodness, amazing.
- 1:04:05How did it feel? Good. Good? Yes. What
- 1:04:09was the lesson this week? What did we
- 1:04:10need to improve? My face. Your face.
- 1:04:14Beautiful. Good job. Thank you. The Abby
- 1:04:16Lee Dance Company started out strong.
- 1:04:19Our solos were fabulous. I just hope
- 1:04:22this momentum stays strong for Chloe and
- 1:04:25Paige's duet.
- 1:04:31God, I wish I could wear something like
- 1:04:32that. If it was up to me, I wouldn't
- 1:04:34have Paige do this duet because I didn't
- 1:04:36like the way that Abby presented the
- 1:04:38duet. But, I know Paige wants to do it,
- 1:04:40so I just want Paige to go out there and
- 1:04:43dance her best.
- 1:04:49All right. Up next in the junior duet
- 1:04:51trio division, we have Paige and Chloe
- 1:04:53with Broadway Blonde.
- 1:06:22Despite all the negativity with this
- 1:06:24duet, I thought that Paige and Chloe
- 1:06:26went out there and they danced amazing.
- 1:06:28I thought they were together and they
- 1:06:30looked great.
- 1:06:33If I were Jill, I would get so tired of
- 1:06:36falling short of Maddie.
- 1:06:37I didn't have a dance, by the way. No, I
- 1:06:40didn't always fall short of Maddie.
- 1:06:41I were you, I'd really get tired of my
- 1:06:43kid falling short of Maddie.
- 1:06:44Your kid doesn't even dance. Well, you
- 1:06:46know what I'm not talking about you. You
- 1:06:47know what? You know what, MOUTH? I'M NOT
- 1:06:49TALKING about my kid, I'm talking about
- 1:06:52your kid.
- 1:06:52That's rude. And you're not rude?
- 1:06:54Going around throwing water on people's
- 1:06:56heads is completely protocol. Maybe if
- 1:06:59we threw some water on you, actually.
- 1:07:01It's excuse me.
- 1:07:02I'm not THE ONE THAT FELL DOWN the ugly
- 1:07:04tree and got hit by every branch. Yeah,
- 1:07:07look again, baby. And Jill, the next
- 1:07:08time you say something about Vivi, it's
- 1:07:10going to be your last time.
- 1:07:16Think about your own technique, your
- 1:07:18lines, your feet, your legs. Those knees
- 1:07:20squeeze together, Maddie. Contestants
- 1:07:22number 88, Candy Apple Style.
- 1:07:261 2 3
- 1:07:28Now, wait a minute. My god, we're like
- 1:07:30fumbling idiots. Finish your lines,
- 1:07:32girl. You're like clodhoppers. That foot
- 1:07:34banging on the ground. Develop pain
- 1:07:36tight in the back of the knee. 2 3 4 5 6
- 1:07:387 8
- 1:07:409
- 1:07:42Yay.
- 1:07:44Rosa Parks
- 1:07:47changed history. Thank goodness
- 1:07:50in 2013,
- 1:07:51we don't have segregation anymore.
- 1:07:53Yes?
- 1:07:55But, we do have winners and we have
- 1:07:57losers.
- 1:07:59It's all for a reason. It's all a
- 1:08:00purpose, you know?
- 1:08:02You guys are amazing talents, you know,
- 1:08:04with amazing abilities. So, let's go and
- 1:08:06shine. I got a quote from Alvin Ailey.
- 1:08:09There's nothing to prove, only to share.
- 1:08:11Cool? Yeah.
- 1:08:13well said. Well said. I'm begging you.
- 1:08:15Don't be the kid that screws this dance
- 1:08:16up. Do not.
- 1:08:19I want Nia to be present in the moment.
- 1:08:21Understand that
- 1:08:24there were people who made tremendous
- 1:08:26sacrifices so she could have an
- 1:08:27opportunity like this. And I want Nia to
- 1:08:31know that she can aspire to do whatever
- 1:08:33she sets her mind to and leave her own
- 1:08:36legacy.
- 1:08:37I couldn't be more proud.
- 1:08:40Come on.
- 1:08:50I think the guys stand a great chance of
- 1:08:52winning. Their costume with their, you
- 1:08:54know, with their performance. Four boys,
- 1:08:57competitions are full of little girls,
- 1:08:59so come on. These boys are going to have
- 1:09:01those girls screaming.
- 1:09:02All right. Up next in the junior small
- 1:09:04group division, we have entry number 88.
- 1:09:07This is Candy Apple Style.
- 1:10:56These boys nailed it. I know that no
- 1:10:58Abby routine could beat that.
- 1:11:02I'm kind of nervous. Cathy's boys did an
- 1:11:04amazing job, and everyone knows at dance
- 1:11:07competitions boys stand out. I mean, the
- 1:11:09crowd loves them, they're very
- 1:11:10entertaining, and girls are really a
- 1:11:12dime a dozen.
- 1:11:13You know, I know our girls are better
- 1:11:15dancers, but is it enough to beat boys?
- 1:11:18I'm not so sure.
- 1:11:20All right, ladies and gentlemen, we're
- 1:11:22ready to get started back up in the
- 1:11:23junior small group division. This is
- 1:11:25entry number 87 entitled Rosa Parks.
- 1:11:30It's not about wanting to win. It's
- 1:11:32about having to win. It's tough to get a
- 1:11:35group routine together, and we've been
- 1:11:37losing week after week.
- 1:11:41Don't say it. If you say it, you're
- 1:11:42Stop.
- 1:11:43If we don't win with this number,
- 1:11:45there might not be a group any longer.
- 1:11:48And I'm serious about that.
- 1:13:50Brooke, what are you doing? I think it
- 1:13:52looks good. What does it do what she's
- 1:13:54doing?
- 1:13:58WHAT DOES BROOKE DO?
- 1:14:03BROOKE WAS STANDING THERE ON STAGE like
- 1:14:08Brooke has been dancing longer than
- 1:14:09Maddie has been alive.
- 1:14:11When she's a wandering aimlessly on the
- 1:14:13stage, I'm thinking, how could she screw
- 1:14:15up a group like that? Brooke, it was
- 1:14:17your It was fake money.
- 1:14:18even think the judges noticed. You're
- 1:14:20fine. At least it wasn't the whole day.
- 1:14:21No, Abby didn't cheat.
- 1:14:23Before Brooke's big mistake on stage,
- 1:14:27I think we had this one in the bag. Now,
- 1:14:29I'm not too sure. I just hope the judges
- 1:14:32didn't notice.
- 1:14:37Here we go. In the elite junior solo
- 1:14:39division, in seventh place, February.
- 1:14:44In sixth place, Working 9 to 5.
- 1:14:51Payton's lesson to be learned today was
- 1:14:54never storm off stage. Never let them
- 1:14:56see you sweat. In third place, With
- 1:14:59Heart.
- 1:15:02In second place, entry number 22, Look
- 1:15:05at Me Now.
- 1:15:10Kendall came in second in the overalls.
- 1:15:12I thought she was amazing. I think she
- 1:15:14did everything that Abby asked of her.
- 1:15:16And in first place,
- 1:15:19entry number 34, Breaking Down Walls.
- 1:15:27Maddie has always been a winner, of
- 1:15:29course, in my eyes. But for the judges
- 1:15:31to validate that she won this time is
- 1:15:34huge for Maddie. She really needed this.
- 1:15:37Top 10 highest elite junior duet trio,
- 1:15:40in third place, entry number 67, Born to
- 1:15:44Hum.
- 1:15:46In second place, entry number 68,
- 1:15:49Puttin' on the Ritz.
- 1:15:53And in first place,
- 1:15:56for top 10 highest elite junior duet
- 1:15:59trio, entry number 72, Broadway Bound.
- 1:16:06I'm so happy that Chloe and Paige went
- 1:16:08out there and won, because if they would
- 1:16:10have went out there and lost, I I would
- 1:16:12have never heard the end of it from
- 1:16:14Abby. And I think that,
- 1:16:16you know, Paige went out there, and she
- 1:16:18made Abby eat crow, cuz she showed her
- 1:16:20that she can dance with Chloe.
- 1:16:22For highest elite junior small group,
- 1:16:25third place, entry number 81, Pure Love.
- 1:16:32Second place, entry number 88, Candy
- 1:16:35Apple Style.
- 1:16:41I can't breathe at this moment. Who is
- 1:16:43going to win?
- 1:16:45First place,
- 1:16:46entry number 87, Rosa Parks.
- 1:16:56First place,
- 1:16:57from
- 1:16:58Abby Lee Dance
- 1:17:06I had my doubts about Abby's
- 1:17:09choreography, whether she's going to be
- 1:17:10able to portray Rosa Parks in a 2-minute
- 1:17:13number. But there's a moment in the
- 1:17:15dance when Nia has to put herself down,
- 1:17:18and
- 1:17:19Maddie walks on her back, and I'm like,
- 1:17:22you know, it's just such a powerful
- 1:17:25symbolism. Abby did a a lovely job.
- 1:17:29Cathy doesn't shut her trap the whole
- 1:17:31day.
- 1:17:31Because she thought they were going to
- 1:17:33win.
- 1:17:35Cathy has been talking crap all
- 1:17:36competition. She has been in our face
- 1:17:39all day.
- 1:17:41Cat got your tongue now, Cathy?
- 1:17:43And that little boy whose dad never
- 1:17:46shuts up? Oh my god.
- 1:17:47Like his kid couldn't do half the dance,
- 1:17:49that's why he was off the stage. If it
- 1:17:51isn't hip hop, he can't do it. I
- 1:17:53personally think that dance dads are way
- 1:17:56worse than dance moms. And, you know,
- 1:17:58Payton's dad has definitely proved that.
- 1:18:01Jill, you know what you should go in
- 1:18:03there and say?
- 1:18:03No, I'm not going in there. Yes, you
- 1:18:05are. No.
- 1:18:07Last time we faced Cathy, there was a
- 1:18:09big fight, and I missed it. Now, I want
- 1:18:11a chance to go in there and gloat, and I
- 1:18:13want all the moms to come with me. If we
- 1:18:15all go together, we'll go. Melissa's all
- 1:18:17on board.
- 1:18:18We're all going to go in as a team.
- 1:18:20Melissa, are you going to say something?
- 1:18:22I was saying stuff to her in the in the
- 1:18:24All right, Melissa, we'll go in as long
- 1:18:26as you say something.
- 1:18:27I'm not saying anything.
- 1:18:29Melissa talks a lot of smack when
- 1:18:30Cathy's not around, but when Cathy's
- 1:18:32around, Melissa's all like, "Ooh, Cathy,
- 1:18:34I love your dress." If we go in, we have
- 1:18:36to go in as a team.
- 1:18:39And we have to stick up for one another.
- 1:18:41Should we all go with a bottle of water?
- 1:18:43No.
- 1:18:46I'm happy that we got what we got. We're
- 1:18:48not going to walk away losers, we're
- 1:18:50going to walk away that, you know, we're
- 1:18:51number two, we're going to try harder
- 1:18:53again.
- 1:18:54Wait a minute. Where are our bodyguards?
- 1:18:57They're not working VERY WELL THERE.
- 1:19:00WAIT A MINUTE. WAIT WAIT A MINUTE. Is
- 1:19:02this a mug shot lineup? One quarter turn
- 1:19:05to the right.
- 1:19:06Oh, ladies, when you do that quarter
- 1:19:08turn, suck 'em in. Suck 'em in. These
- 1:19:12moms are mistaken if they think that
- 1:19:14they can intimidate me.
- 1:19:16They may have a win today, but it's not
- 1:19:18going to happen again. Your son did 2
- 1:19:20minutes of the dance because obviously
- 1:19:21he can't do the the dancing portion of
- 1:19:23it. He can only do the hip hop. What has
- 1:19:25your child done outside of this on their
- 1:19:28own?
- 1:19:30Sumer has This kid has more talent in
- 1:19:32his little finger than your kid. Oh,
- 1:19:34wait a minute. She has a
- 1:19:35Because he can do more styles of dance.
- 1:19:37Yours can only spin on his head.
- 1:19:39Every time I've seen your kid, they do
- 1:19:40the exact same move. There's nothing
- 1:19:42different. Kelly's throwing a lot of
- 1:19:44stones for someone whose daughter forgot
- 1:19:46the routine. My routine had no mistakes.
- 1:19:50Oh, Kelly, how soon we forget. Cathy,
- 1:19:53maybe you should have spent the money on
- 1:19:54more lessons instead of improving the
- 1:19:56studio.
- 1:19:57Bye. Thank you. Always a pleasure.
- 1:20:07I feel like we should hug, too. So? I
- 1:20:10have one thing to say.
- 1:20:11Ding dong, the witch is dead. I think
- 1:20:13those are polar bears out there. They're
- 1:20:15not bodyguards. They're carrying that
- 1:20:17casket down the highway.
- 1:20:20Kendall,
- 1:20:22you were told to use your face. You used
- 1:20:23your face. That was your lesson this
- 1:20:25week. You did it, and look where you
- 1:20:27are.
- 1:20:28Maddie,
- 1:20:30you finally climbed that uphill battle.
- 1:20:32You knocked down the wall. First overall
- 1:20:35high score.
- 1:20:36Deservedly so. You were I thought you
- 1:20:38were brilliant today.
- 1:20:41All right. How about my duet?
- 1:20:44I told you we could do it. Yes. You were
- 1:20:47pretty sassy up there.
- 1:20:49What about the group?
- 1:20:53Brooke,
- 1:20:55were you just waiting at the bus stop
- 1:20:57for the bus?
- 1:21:00What? I don't know what happened up
- 1:21:02there, but the bus was moving, the bus
- 1:21:04was happening, and Brooke was just kind
- 1:21:06of standing at the bus stop waiting for
- 1:21:08everybody to get on the bus.
- 1:21:10What did she do? Nothing. That's the
- 1:21:12problem.
- 1:21:15Well, I just want you to know that I
- 1:21:17think that Rosa Parks would be very
- 1:21:18proud of you.
- 1:21:19Thank you. You did a great job. Great
- 1:21:21job.
- 1:21:22for giving her an opportunity.
- 1:21:23distraction from the bus stop here.
- 1:21:26I'm patting myself on the back cuz I did
- 1:21:28an outstanding job with the costuming. I
- 1:21:30knew we were coming to Ohio. I knew she
- 1:21:32was going to be here, and I just I just
- 1:21:34felt like I needed to pull out the stops
- 1:21:37because I was never going to let her get
- 1:21:40the best of us again. I'm just not going
- 1:21:41to do it. Cathy's mishmash applesauce is
- 1:21:44no match for a fully functioning ALDC.
- 1:21:49When we're on, we're unstoppable.
- 1:21:52Cathy's crazy. I mean, all the money she
- 1:21:54spends, all the money flying these boys
- 1:21:57in. The same thing with the
- 1:21:58choreographer, blah, blah, blah.
- 1:22:00Money can't buy talent.
- 1:22:03Moms, moms, I want positive energy. If
- 1:22:07you're going to badmouth me in your
- 1:22:08house, wait till your kid goes to sleep.
- 1:22:12Next on Dance Moms, Mackenzie, you are
- 1:22:14not in the group dance. Frankly, I don't
- 1:22:17think you can keep up.
- 1:22:18If the group dance messes up,
- 1:22:20it's on Mackenzie. What's got on your
- 1:22:21finger there?
- 1:22:23Wait, what?
- 1:22:26This is what she does to every week, and
- 1:22:27you've let her psych you out.
- 1:22:32What was that exit about?
- 1:22:35This is your team. These are your girls.
- 1:22:37This is your name on their backs. So,
- 1:22:39you have to give them some sort of
- 1:22:42I'm really nervous.
