- 0:05Mario could be a very controversial
- 0:07character depend where you are U
- 0:09positioning yourself in front of the
- 0:11story but mainly for the people to know
- 0:14is the guy that actually um put some
- 0:16order down there and and try to stretch
- 0:21life as much as possible with the
- 0:23possibility that they have and the
- 0:24resources that they have were minimal
- 0:26just very little food little water and
- 0:29so what he did is just to have um great
- 0:33capacity of organization um with the
- 0:36rest of the 32 miners that that were
- 0:38that were
- 0:41there I will divide the character in two
- 0:44different parts the survival part at the
- 0:48beginning until the drill actually U
- 0:51found them and then the connection with
- 0:53the exterior and everything that came
- 0:55with us I mean with it not only just
- 0:58food but um the possibilities that this
- 1:01guide had to actually become
- 1:04Superstars and um you have to think that
- 1:07this is are people that have been
- 1:09struggling their whole lives to survive
- 1:12in tough environment and suddenly um
- 1:16something was coming from outside that
- 1:18opened their eyes to something
- 1:20completely different and new and so that
- 1:23created a lot of conflicts down there
- 1:26and Mari Mar was always in the middle of
- 1:29of those conflicts and U so the
- 1:33possibility that you're going to have to
- 1:34judge when you see the movie you know if
- 1:35he was right or he was
- 1:40wrong just to be working in a
- 1:45mind may you actually understand not
- 1:47only just the the problem that they
- 1:49lived our miners in the movie but uh
- 1:53every Miner in the world he um tougher
- 1:57than that I thought uh
- 2:00many different problems from methane gas
- 2:04that you are breeding practically all
- 2:05the time uh of course the lack of L of
- 2:08light um and at the same time the
- 2:10possibility of having an incident at any
- 2:13given moment you know uh um is is
- 2:17complex and and
- 2:19tough now I am happy that we did it that
- 2:23way if we would have done this in an
- 2:25Studio probably we wouldn't have had the
- 2:27same feelings that we had when when we
- 2:29were working there and
- 2:32uh at the same
- 2:35time we in a way we use that to to find
- 2:39some cohesion in the
- 2:43group many different things from for
- 2:46example religion how that played a role
- 2:50there you know the possibility that God
- 2:52is going to help us was very strong many
- 2:54of the miners were very much Believers
- 2:57um all of those things is what we are
- 3:00going to experience down there the ups
- 3:02and downs the drill is coming and they
- 3:04can hear it then the drill disappear
- 3:06they didn't know if actually you know
- 3:08the rescue uh Team just gave up and all
- 3:12of those things seeing it in first hand
- 3:15is when I think it's going to create a
- 3:17lot of excitement because obviously we
- 3:18know the end of the
- 3:20story
