Full transcript
- 0:00I've generated billions and billions of
- 0:01dollars. You know, it's estimated in
- 0:03today's dollars somewhere around 25
- 0:05billion around the world. A lot of
- 0:06people today know me as
- 0:08>> Superstar, TV king, author
- 0:09>> Infomercial king
- 0:10>> Marketing genius
- 0:11>> And all that stuff, but then being
- 0:12stripped away of that, sentenced to 10
- 0:14years, ended up serving about 2
- 0:15>> TV pitchman Kevin Trudeau will spend the
- 0:17next 10 years behind bars.
- 0:19>> I'd served 8 and 1/2 years without
- 0:22committing a crime.
- 0:23>> What is that like?
- 0:23>> When I went to prison, I looked at it
- 0:25like J.D. Rockefeller did. Every
- 0:27adversity that you face, within it is a
- 0:30treasure chest. The universe does not do
- 0:33things to us. It does things for us. It
- 0:37is a gift from God.
- 0:39>> Kevin Trudeau is a world-renowned
- 0:40entrepreneur, number one New York Times
- 0:42best-selling author, and one of the most
- 0:43controversial truth-tellers of our time.
- 0:45You want to put me in jail? Let's go to
- 0:47court, baby.
- 0:48>> He's a former insider in the elite
- 0:50secret society known as the brotherhood.
- 0:52>> And his book, Your Wish Is Your Command,
- 0:54has remained one of his
- 0:55most-talked-about works.
- 0:56>> Exploring the power of the subconscious
- 0:58mind and personal transformation.
- 1:00>> How did you get into the brotherhood or
- 1:01the secret society?
- 1:02>> From the time I was born, I had the
- 1:04ability to see energy. Years later, this
- 1:06fellow walks in, an older guy, gray
- 1:08hair, and he goes, "You can see what's
- 1:10in the corner of the room, can't you?"
- 1:11And I said, "Yeah, I can see that." He
- 1:12goes, "Yeah, so can I." He says, "I can
- 1:14teach you how to control." I says, "I'm
- 1:16I'm ready." He was training me of how to
- 1:18use my mind. I was given the entire
- 1:19puzzle of total success in life. And
- 1:21then I made several million dollars
- 1:23before I was 18. So many people just had
- 1:25it coming to me saying, "Teach us." And
- 1:27I would teach them a system that I
- 1:29learned in the brotherhood, the 40-point
- 1:31algorithm for success.
- 1:33>> What's the most shocking thing you ever
- 1:34experienced in the brotherhood or the
- 1:35secret society?
- 1:39>> Hi, I'm Kevin Trudeau, and I went from
- 1:41absolute zero to over 25 billion dollars
- 1:44in sales, and now helping people all
- 1:46over the world improve the quality of
- 1:48their life and their standard of living.
- 1:50And I'm one of the passionate few.
- 1:59>> Thank you so much for being on the show
- 2:00today, Kevin.
- 2:01>> It's my pleasure, glad to be here.
- 2:02>> Absolutely. So, a lot of people may know
- 2:05your story, a lot of people may not. You
- 2:07know, you've had some tremendous success
- 2:09early on. You recently
- 2:11became a free man in the last couple
- 2:13years and you're sharing principles to
- 2:15help people live their dreams, right?
- 2:16You obviously have the new book, Your
- 2:17Wishes Your Command. But before you
- 2:19became the Kevin Trudeau that the world
- 2:21over knows, take me back. Where did
- 2:23young Kevin grow up and how did the ball
- 2:25start start getting rolling for you as a
- 2:26kid early on?
- 2:27>> of people today know me as either the
- 2:29infomercial king because back in the
- 2:31'90s I was known as the infomercial
- 2:33king, America's marketing guru,
- 2:35marketing genius and all that stuff. Or
- 2:37an entrepreneur. In Europe, most people
- 2:39know me as the founder of the Golf
- 2:40Channel,
- 2:41Shop America, which was a TV shopping
- 2:43channel. We beat Home Shopping Network.
- 2:46We came in second to QVC.
- 2:48>> Wow.
- 2:49>> So, we did very, very well there. They
- 2:50had had a entertainment channel in
- 2:52Europe as well. In Australia, they
- 2:54usually knew me as the mining guy cuz I
- 2:56had mining operations there.
- 2:58But a lot of people really don't know
- 2:59the whole story. I mean, yeah, I
- 3:01generated billions and billions of
- 3:02dollars.
- 3:03And I'm not a motivational speaker and
- 3:05I'm not a success trainer, although
- 3:08people today know me as that because of
- 3:10the book Your Wishes Your Command and
- 3:11some of the other things I've done.
- 3:13But my business started back in the '70s
- 3:16when I got into direct mail.
- 3:17>> Mhm.
- 3:18>> I My dad was a welder. I grew up in
- 3:20Lynn, Massachusetts, a blue-collar
- 3:21community. I never went to college. We
- 3:23had no money.
- 3:24And I And we were going through and
- 3:26driving through this beautiful rich
- 3:28neighborhood cuz my dad was going to
- 3:30take me fishing on the shore, right? You
- 3:31know, cuz we didn't have, you know,
- 3:33money for a boat or yacht.
- 3:35So, we're going to go on the shore. And
- 3:36as we were driving through this rich
- 3:37neighborhood, I'm looking at all these
- 3:38big houses.
- 3:39And you know, my neighborhood was all
- 3:41these small little tiny houses with one
- 3:42little bathroom.
- 3:44No air conditioning.
- 3:45>> Mhm.
- 3:45>> And I says, "Hey, Dad." I says, "What do
- 3:47these people do?" You know, he goes,
- 3:49"Well, that's the doctor. You know, he's
- 3:51the lawyer. Uh that guy owns the car
- 3:54dealership. He owns the dry cleaning
- 3:56chain.
- 3:57>> Mhm.
- 3:57>> He owns a glass company. He owns a real
- 4:00estate firm. And I kept hearing owns,
- 4:03owns, owns.
- 4:05>> Mhm.
- 4:05>> So, I was like, okay, I don't want to be
- 4:06a doctor. I don't want to be a lawyer.
- 4:08And we're going to I don't have money to
- 4:09go go to college and I'm not that smart.
- 4:12But
- 4:13I have to own a business if I want to
- 4:15achieve success in life. And so, I
- 4:17really realized early on that if you
- 4:19want to become successful, you have to
- 4:20be your own boss.
- 4:21>> Mhm.
- 4:22>> You have to own a business. You have to
- 4:23have a business of your own.
- 4:25So, I thought, what can I do? I have no
- 4:26money. I have I don't know how to run a
- 4:28business. I have no money. What can I
- 4:30And I'm I'm, you know, 12 years old, 13
- 4:32years old.
- 4:34So, I read a book called Seven Steps to
- 4:36Freedom, How to Escape the American Rat
- 4:37Race by a guy named Ben Suarez. And he
- 4:39talked about I saw an ad in the
- 4:41newspaper for it, so I bought it.
- 4:42>> How old were you at the time? Do you
- 4:43remember?
- 4:44>> Like 12 or 13. And it was money from my
- 4:46paper route because I was an
- 4:48entrepreneur right at the beginning. I
- 4:49was shoveling snow and raking leaves and
- 4:52selling newspapers. I had a paper route.
- 4:54That's how I made some money.
- 4:56So, I bought this little book. It was a
- 4:57pretty big big book, actually. And it
- 4:59talked about going into direct mail, how
- 5:01to run classified ads or print ads and
- 5:05get people to either write in for more
- 5:07information and which you would mail
- 5:09them a sales letter or they would buy
- 5:11your product or you rent a mailing list
- 5:13and then put together a sales letter and
- 5:14actually mail it out and sell them
- 5:16something.
- 5:17>> Mhm.
- 5:17>> And I thought, well, I could probably
- 5:18start that small and kind of pyramid the
- 5:20profits cuz that's what it said to do.
- 5:22>> Right.
- 5:23>> And there was another book called The
- 5:24Lazy Man's Way to a Fortune by Joe
- 5:26Carbo. And he talked about the same
- 5:28thing.
- 5:29So, I started researching this and I and
- 5:31I just had a knack really early on of
- 5:34writing. I couldn't speak, by the way.
- 5:35People don't know that. I have always
- 5:36tongue-tied.
- 5:37>> Were you a shy kid early on?
- 5:38>> I was very shy, very insecure, and I
- 5:40couldn't speak. I I stuttered terribly
- 5:44and I turned beat red. So, I was I So,
- 5:46being able to write and be behind the
- 5:48scenes was perfect for me.
- 5:51>> Uh cuz you could express your
- 5:52personality, your intellectualism.
- 5:54>> Correct.
- 5:54>> You could experience You could
- 5:55experience and explore and express it,
- 5:57but not have to be the forward face.
- 5:59>> Correct. Yeah, so I I was always a
- 6:00behind-the-scenes very shy shy person.
- 6:03And I And I wasn't doing it really to
- 6:04make money per se, but I wanted the big
- 6:07house and and and the cars. But, very
- 6:09quickly, when I was marketing things, I
- 6:12was marketing reports on how to fix your
- 6:13credit and how to get loans and things
- 6:16of this nature, the letters that I got
- 6:18from the customers saying, "This saved
- 6:20my life." You know, this Now, something
- 6:23instantly shifted. Instead of me running
- 6:26this business to make some money and to
- 6:27become successful, I was running the
- 6:30business to help these people.
- 6:31>> Mhm.
- 6:32>> And that was And I And I can tell
- 6:35entrepreneurs today, when you shift from
- 6:37doing your business
- 6:40and stop trying to make money
- 6:43and really focus on helping people,
- 6:45that's when everything's going to
- 6:47change.
- 6:47>> How can people make that shift if right
- 6:49now they might be in a scarcity mindset
- 6:50or they have bills due Friday or right
- 6:52they're they're plagued by the overwhelm
- 6:54of bills today to open up that that
- 6:56abundance mindset of serving people when
- 6:58you're trying to survive yourself?
- 6:59>> Look, you have to always take care of
- 7:01yourself first and and and make sure
- 7:03you're stable. So, yes, you you do that
- 7:06first. But, I'm talking about the
- 7:07businessman who's out there who's, you
- 7:10know, trying to make his next million or
- 7:12trying to make a lot of money and he's
- 7:13focused on money money money. I want the
- 7:15Ferrari. I want the private jets. I want
- 7:17this and you know.
- 7:18>> Mhm.
- 7:18>> Okay, yeah, you want to make money and
- 7:20you're focused on that. The problem is
- 7:22you're going to go down a slippery
- 7:23slope, you're going to cut some corners
- 7:25someplace, you're going to do something
- 7:27to make more money at the expense of the
- 7:28customer, and that that is a dangerous
- 7:31place to be. If a person's just
- 7:33struggling right now, okay, that's fine.
- 7:34That's a whole different dynamic. You
- 7:36need to cut your expenses.
- 7:38>> Mhm.
- 7:38>> You know, people always say,
- 7:40"I'm in debt. I have financial problems.
- 7:43I Okay, fine. Stop whining and
- 7:45complaining and start basically looking
- 7:47at yourself and say,
- 7:49"I spent money I didn't have. I was
- 7:52stupid and foolish."
- 7:54Nobody wants to take that
- 7:55responsibility. But I have credit card
- 7:57debt. That means you spent money you
- 7:59didn't have.
- 8:01>> Mhm.
- 8:01>> You were stupid and foolish. Take
- 8:03responsibility. And if they take
- 8:05responsibility first, from that point of
- 8:08self-awareness, now you can fix it.
- 8:11>> I love that you talk about that, too,
- 8:12because I know early on one of your your
- 8:14philosophies was how powerful the I am
- 8:16statement can be. Can you talk a little
- 8:18bit about that, that identity
- 8:20that is strengthened or weakened by the
- 8:23I am concept of how you communicate to
- 8:25yourself?
- 8:25>> Yeah, you know, the I am is actually
- 8:28completely misinterpreted today cuz it
- 8:29comes back from the Old Testament when
- 8:31Moses was on the on Mount Sinai and he
- 8:34was talking to God, you know, the
- 8:35burning bush. And he says to God, you
- 8:37know, what do what what do people call
- 8:38what you know, what's your name?
- 8:40>> Mhm.
- 8:41>> And the Bible says, "I am who I am."
- 8:43Well, that's completely wrong. That's
- 8:45only in the Christian version. If you
- 8:46take the original Hebrew, which comes
- 8:48from Canaanite,
- 8:49>> Mhm.
- 8:49>> it's always translated in English in in
- 8:52in Hebrew in in in the Jewish tradition,
- 8:54it's always translated, "I will be who I
- 8:57will be." It's the future tense, which
- 8:59means it's a moving creation energy. And
- 9:03that's very critical. So,
- 9:05>> Why is that critical?
- 9:06>> It's critical because you are creative
- 9:09being.
- 9:11We're here to create, not to attain, but
- 9:14to create. People think, "I want this, I
- 9:17want this, I want this." No, you want to
- 9:19create that. That's really what gives a
- 9:21person joy, which is why the saying
- 9:24goes, "The journey is the reward."
- 9:27Success is a journey, not a destination.
- 9:29That's where it comes from. If you have
- 9:31have a children and you go down to the
- 9:32beach
- 9:34and your child says, "I want to build
- 9:36the sandcastle."
- 9:37He He doesn't say I want to have a sand
- 9:39castle.
- 9:40>> Mhm.
- 9:41>> He says, I want to build one.
- 9:42>> The process.
- 9:43>> Right. Oh, you want You want a sand
- 9:44castle, little Johnny? Okay, I'll tell
- 9:45you what. You sit here, you sit and
- 9:47we'll build you one professionally. I
- 9:49got some engineers over here and we're
- 9:52going to give you a sand castle. He
- 9:53cries.
- 9:54>> Yeah.
- 9:55>> He's like, "No, I don't want a sand
- 9:56castle. I want to build one. Even if
- 9:58it's a a disaster and a mess. It doesn't
- 10:01matter. The joy of creating is what we
- 10:03what we want." He wants to paint, even
- 10:06if it's a disaster. It's the joy of
- 10:08doing something. So, we're creative
- 10:10beings. So, I will be who I will be
- 10:12really as a creating creative essence.
- 10:14>> Mhm.
- 10:15>> But, the I am is separate than that.
- 10:17When When a person speaks, I
- 10:20am,
- 10:22whether it's your body, your mind, or
- 10:24your soul, your the spiritual essence
- 10:26that you are, whatever you put after
- 10:29that
- 10:30is so incredibly powerful because it
- 10:32creates who you are, your inner
- 10:35self-image.
- 10:36So, if you say, "Ah, I am such a loser."
- 10:39>> Mhm.
- 10:40>> Oh, cancel, cancel. Say the magic words,
- 10:43cancel, cancel. You are crucifying
- 10:45yourself.
- 10:46>> Mhm.
- 10:46>> You are setting yourself up to lose.
- 10:48You're programming yourself for failure.
- 10:51>> One of my coaches taught me this concept
- 10:52that your subconscious can't take a
- 10:54joke.
- 10:55>> I love that.
- 10:56>> say, "Ah, I'm not good at that." Or,
- 10:57"Yeah, I suck at that." Or, "Ah, that
- 10:58always happens to me." It's like chat
- 11:00GPT, it doesn't know tone. It just takes
- 11:01it as an incoming command and identity.
- 11:04Uh so, I totally agree with that.
- 11:06>> I I do something at my house uh for very
- 11:08high-level people within my group. It's
- 11:10called fly on the wall training. It's
- 11:11what I had when I was younger. So, I
- 11:13bring people in, they stay at my
- 11:14mansion, they live there for 24 hours.
- 11:18They can't speak. They're totally
- 11:19silent. They're invisible. They're a fly
- 11:22on the wall.
- 11:23And they just watch me and observe and
- 11:24they can take notes.
- 11:26And at the end they do a write-up and I
- 11:28can answer I answer their questions.
- 11:30But, they observe me, you know, what
- 11:32time I wake up, how I operate my day,
- 11:34how I write my to-do list, how I make
- 11:36phone calls, how I do Zoom meetings, how
- 11:38I interact with staff or vendors or
- 11:40whatever, how I give orders, how I
- 11:42create, and so forth. And if I go
- 11:44someplace, they help in the in the
- 11:46Rolls-Royce or one of the other cars I
- 11:47have, and we we go someplace.
- 11:50But one of the things that's so common,
- 11:51cuz I talk to myself all day long,
- 11:54is everybody says, "I can't believe how
- 11:56often he gives himself a pep talk."
- 11:59>> Mhm.
- 11:59>> You know, I'm constantly saying, "I'm so
- 12:01good."
- 12:01>> Mhm.
- 12:02>> I'm I had a schedule as usual. I'm I'm
- 12:04so efficient. I have such a good memory.
- 12:07You know, I was like, "Where's that?"
- 12:08Oh, I know, it's in that file. I'm
- 12:10right. I have such a good memory. And
- 12:12I'm constantly doing that. I'm
- 12:13constantly saying out loud things that
- 12:16are programming myself for success.
- 12:18>> Affirming.
- 12:19>> And I'm constantly giving myself a pep
- 12:22talk.
- 12:22>> Wow.
- 12:23>> This is what a real professional coach
- 12:24will do. You screw up on the on on the
- 12:27field, the first thing he says is he
- 12:28goes, "Shake it off." Remember that when
- 12:30we played sports in school?
- 12:32>> That phrase, "Shake it off." And that
- 12:34comes from a dog shaking off the water.
- 12:37>> The dirt, yeah, whatever.
- 12:38>> Exactly, whatever. He shakes it off. So,
- 12:41if you screwed up, you can't have that
- 12:43energy as, "Oh, I made a mistake. Oh, I
- 12:46made an error." You got to shake it off.
- 12:49>> Mhm.
- 12:49>> Because you can't have it on you. It's
- 12:51an energy that's going to create a
- 12:53vibration that's going to create more
- 12:55guck and junk and and failure and
- 12:57mistakes in your life. You have to shake
- 12:59it off. So, you have to get all all you
- 13:01know, get and somebody pat you on the
- 13:02back and go, "Get them next time."
- 13:03>> Mhm.
- 13:04>> You need to get motivated. Well,
- 13:07we need to motivate ourselves. So, we
- 13:08need to give ourselves those type of pep
- 13:10talks as well.
- 13:10>> Hey guys, we'll get back to the video in
- 13:12a sec. But first, quick question for you

- 14:11video, and now let's get back to the
- 14:13show.
- 14:14And you talk about this concept of
- 14:15feeling good and how important that is.
- 14:18Um why is that so important for people
- 14:20to anchor that cuz a lot of people think
- 14:21about doing stuff, right?
- 14:23>> Um and you talk about, you know, the A B
- 14:25A R philosophy, right? Like ask,
- 14:27believe, act, receive. Um how important
- 14:30is feeling good in that process and
- 14:32prioritizing that that sense of self
- 14:35feeling good, affirming self, and why do
- 14:36you think so few people do it?
- 14:38>> Well, it's very interesting because as
- 14:40we talked about and actually Esther
- 14:41Hicks in the in the in her books Ask and
- 14:43It Is Given, The Teachings of Abraham,
- 14:46talked a lot about feeling good now. And
- 14:47it goes back to The Magic of Believing
- 14:50by Claude Bristol and and uh the
- 14:53Psycho-Cybernetics by Dr. Maxwell Maltz,
- 14:56the original one in 1959.
- 14:58Uh
- 14:59Success Through a Positive Mental
- 15:00Attitude by W. Clement Stone, who I
- 15:02knew. He's the guy who got me smoking
- 15:03cigars, by the way.
- 15:04>> Oh, wow.
- 15:05>> Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 15:05>> We'll have to have one one day.
- 15:06>> I was at his house and he and he got
- 15:08convinced me. Uh but all these people
- 15:10talk about you have to have a positive
- 15:12attitude and that's akin to feeling
- 15:15good.
- 15:17Yes, you have to have a positive mental
- 15:19attitude, but it's it's misunderstood
- 15:21today. So, I want to clarify it, but at
- 15:22first I want to say this. I was being
- 15:24interviewed about this about positive
- 15:26mental attitude and the woman who was
- 15:28interviewing me was a real nasty person.
- 15:31And everybody in the in the studio kind
- 15:33of knew she was real real nasty person.
- 15:35>> Mhm.
- 15:36>> And so with a real you know, real nasty
- 15:38she says, "Oh, I bet you think you can
- 15:40do anything with a positive attitude."
- 15:43And I says, "Don't actually you can't do
- 15:45anything with a positive attitude.
- 15:47But you can do everything better than if
- 15:49you have a negative attitude
- 15:52And everyone cracked up and she cracked.
- 15:55She goes,
- 15:57>> Fair play, yeah.
- 15:58>> You got me. Okay." Um and then then she
- 16:00was my friend from then on. Because that
- 16:02because that makes sense, right? You
- 16:03can't do anything with a with a good
- 16:05attitude of feeling good, but you can do
- 16:06everything better. But it's a misnomer
- 16:09because we we think people grasp that
- 16:13and go, "Oh, all I have to do is all day
- 16:15long be in a state of gratitude and
- 16:17appreciation and thankfulness." And go,
- 16:19"Thank you. I'm so grateful. I'm so
- 16:21appreciative. I'm going to look for the
- 16:22gold in everything and I'm just going to
- 16:24work on feeling good now and feeling
- 16:26good now." And nothing's going to
- 16:27change. You get in your crappy car
- 16:30that's falling apart and you go, "I'm so
- 16:31grateful and thank you." Why would the
- 16:33universe give you a different car?
- 16:35>> Mhm.
- 16:35>> Think about that.
- 16:37You have to do something first. Do you
- 16:39remember Jim Rohn?
- 16:40>> Of course, yeah.
- 16:40>> Jim Rohn, one of the greatest trainers
- 16:42of success on the planet. Trained Tony
- 16:44Robbins, actually.
- 16:46As well as John Grinder and Richard
- 16:48Bandler I knew very well.
- 16:49>> Yeah, from NLP
- 16:50>> And that's right. They created NLP
- 16:51and I knew Richard very very well.
- 16:54But John Jim Rohn,
- 16:56who's the nicest guy in the world,
- 16:58right? He never cursed on stage or
- 17:00anything.
- 17:01He said something which shocked
- 17:02everybody. He said the most powerful
- 17:04emotion when it comes to success, it
- 17:07wasn't manifesting back then. It was the
- 17:10most powerful emotion you need in order
- 17:12to attain your goals. It wasn't manifest
- 17:15your reality. It was attain your goals.
- 17:17>> Mhm.
- 17:17>> Is disgust.
- 17:19>> Mhm. says, "You have to find something
- 17:21in your life that disgusts you,
- 17:25that you will not tolerate anymore. And
- 17:27unless you can get disgusted with
- 17:29something, unless you find something
- 17:31that you will not tolerate, you'll never
- 17:33be motivated to achieve anything."
- 17:35>> Wow.
- 17:36>> Now, you don't live there.
- 17:37You visit there.
- 17:38>> Mhm.
- 17:39>> So, you have to find something in your
- 17:40life like that car or that living
- 17:42situation or your credit card balances
- 17:45are too high. You got to find something
- 17:47that you will not tolerate anymore. You
- 17:49have to have pain. And only from that
- 17:52place of contracted energy
- 17:54can you do the next step in the formula
- 17:57of attaining your goals, which is
- 18:00clearly define what you want.
- 18:02>> Mhm.
- 18:02>> So, you can't define clearly what you
- 18:04want with a lot of obsession and power
- 18:07unless you have something you're
- 18:08disgusted with that you won't take
- 18:09anymore.
- 18:10>> Mhm.
- 18:10>> You have to know what you don't want,
- 18:12not just don't want, will not tolerate.
- 18:14And from there, you can clearly define
- 18:17what you want.
- 18:18>> Mhm.
- 18:18>> That's the only way you can do it and
- 18:20have that obsession and have that
- 18:22burning desire as Napoleon Hill said.
- 18:25Napoleon Hill says, "Define, clearly
- 18:27define your dream or desire, define your
- 18:31desire, and
- 18:33have a burning desire for its
- 18:36attainment.
- 18:37>> Mhm.
- 18:37>> Define your dream, define your goal,
- 18:40define what you want, and then get a
- 18:42burning desire for its achievement. You
- 18:44can't get a burning desire for something
- 18:46that you don't know what it is. So, it
- 18:47has to be clearly defined, and you can't
- 18:50get a burning desire to achieve
- 18:51something if you don't have a burn right
- 18:53now in terms of something you will not
- 18:56tolerate in your life anymore. So, you
- 18:58have to go through that cycle.
- 18:59>> So, one must need something to, for lack
- 19:01of a better expression, run away from
- 19:02and to run towards.
- 19:03>> That's exactly correct, because as we
- 19:05know,
- 19:06people have talked about this for a long
- 19:07time. This is not new, that we're
- 19:09motivated more to avoid pain than to
- 19:12gain pleasure.
- 19:13>> Yes.
- 19:13>> So, what you do here in the formula, and
- 19:15it's really an algorithm. I learned the
- 19:1640-point algorithm in terms of how to
- 19:18manifest your desires or create your
- 19:21goals or you know, attain your goals.
- 19:24In that formula, in that algorithm, you
- 19:26have to do two. You have to activate the
- 19:29the drive to get away from pain and the
- 19:33desire to attain pleasure.
- 19:35>> Mhm.
- 19:36>> When you have both working at the same
- 19:37time, this is you're being springboarded
- 19:40from here and pulled here.
- 19:43>> Mhm.
- 19:43>> So, you you get being pushed here and
- 19:45pulled here. That's when you can really,
- 19:47really create, manifest, or attain your
- 19:50goals faster than before.
- 19:52>> I love that. I love that and we'll dive
- 19:54into that a little bit. I got a few more
- 19:55questions on that. But, um I want to
- 19:57circle back briefly to, you know, early
- 19:59on in the journey cuz I'm fascinated at
- 20:01how you you arrived here when you say
- 20:03you came from such humble beginnings.
- 20:04You started in direct response.
- 20:06Um how old were you at the time?
- 20:08>> In my teens, at like 12 or 12 or 13
- 20:10years old, I started my first company.
- 20:12Yeah. It was called Collegiate
- 20:13Enterprises International and the reason
- 20:15I called it that is I knew I was never
- 20:17going to college. So, I said I'm going
- 20:19to call it Collegiate because that'll
- 20:21make me feel like a you know, it's a
- 20:23college thing or some academic thing.
- 20:25But, I I never went to college. Again, I
- 20:27you know,
- 20:28stuttered, virtually almost flunked out
- 20:30of high school. You know, I wasn't doing
- 20:32very well.
- 20:33>> And how much did you end up making in
- 20:34your teens doing direct response like
- 20:36>> several million dollars before I was 18
- 20:38in direct mail.
- 20:39>> So, you made millions of dollars before
- 20:40you were 18?
- 20:41>> Millions of dollars and that's how it
- 20:42started.
- 20:43>> What was your first piece? Like, how did
- 20:45you get your first opportunity to write
- 20:47your first direct response? Like, what
- 20:48was step one from zero?
- 20:50>> I when I read these books, Seven Steps
- 20:52to Freedom, it gave the basic axioms
- 20:55>> Uh-huh.
- 20:55>> of success in business. And it's really
- 20:57simple. But, let me back up first cuz I
- 20:59was good at something early on. Before I
- 21:01did that, I remember my mom, she's from
- 21:04Italy and she loved to cook. Thank God.
- 21:07Which means I ate really well growing
- 21:08up. I had a grandmother from Italy
- 21:10spoken speaking Italian cooking and my
- 21:12mother and I'm like we're we're eating
- 21:13like kings.
- 21:14>> Were any of them named Maria?
- 21:15>> Yeah, of course they're named named
- 21:16Maria. Mari, Mari.
- 21:19Angli- Anglican Mary. But it was Mari.
- 21:22Okay.
- 21:23That's my mother. So,
- 21:26we're we're cooking and I said, "How
- 21:27come you don't make cakes and stuff?"
- 21:29You know, she made like a ricotta
- 21:31cheesecake and some Italian cookies, but
- 21:33never these, you know, Americanized
- 21:35cakes. Well, that wasn't her thing. So,
- 21:37I said, "Well, I'm going to learn how to
- 21:38do this." I went down to the library and
- 21:40I'm looking at cookbooks and they
- 21:41actually had some pictures and there was
- 21:43one cookbook I thought was really cool
- 21:45cuz it had a cake like in the shape of a
- 21:47butterfly.
- 21:48>> Mhm.
- 21:48>> And I thought, "I want to learn how to
- 21:50do that. That's like magic. How do you
- 21:51do that?"
- 21:52>> Mhm.
- 21:52>> And it was real simple. You took a a
- 21:54round or square pan and then cut, you
- 21:57know, cut it into an X and then you flip
- 21:59them and then you could, you know, put
- 22:01the frosting on and it had a waterfall.
- 22:03>> Mhm.
- 22:03>> So, I thought I'm going to follow the
- 22:05instructions. I take it home. So, I go
- 22:07to my mom, "Hey, I need a pan 8 in by 8
- 22:09in. Do we have one?" Yeah, here. Get you
- 22:11know, get away from me. Okay. So, I I
- 22:13need some butter. Yeah, here. You know,
- 22:15don't bother me anymore. I need some
- 22:16flour. Go away. I need some eggs. Go go
- 22:19away. I need a bowl.
- 22:21I'm getting all this stuff. So, I get
- 22:23everything lined up. I read read it
- 22:25start start to finish to make sure I
- 22:26understand everything.
- 22:27>> Mhm.
- 22:28>> And then I go to work. I follow the
- 22:29instructions. Put the flour in the, you
- 22:32know, bowl. Then put the baking soda.
- 22:34Then stir it together to make sure it's
- 22:37all combined. Then slowly add the liquid
- 22:40and I'm just following the instructions
- 22:42to the letter.
- 22:43>> Mhm.
- 22:44>> I follow the instructions to the letter.
- 22:46I cook it. I cut it. I put it together.
- 22:48I frost it and then I bring it out to
- 22:50the family. It was a Thursday night.
- 22:51Never forget it.
- 22:52>> Mhm.
- 22:53>> All my relatives come over the house on
- 22:54a Thursday night for spaghetti and and
- 22:56all the Italian food. So, the house is
- 22:58packed with people and I come out so
- 23:00happy. I got this butterfly cake this
- 23:02big huge on that's big huge tray, and
- 23:05everyone is shocked. My mother is
- 23:07shocked. My aunt is shocked. My uncles
- 23:10are shocked. My everyone is like, "Oh my
- 23:12god, you're a genius." And I go, "No, I
- 23:15just followed the instructions."
- 23:17>> Mhm.
- 23:18>> I mean, this was not hard. And my aunt's
- 23:20like, "I could never do that." I go,
- 23:22"Can you read English?" "Yes, you can do
- 23:23this. You just follow the instructions."
- 23:26Anybody can do this. You just do what
- 23:28the instructions said to do. So my aunt
- 23:30says, "I'm going to try it." So I went
- 23:31over to her house, and she's not
- 23:32following the instructions.
- 23:34>> Mhm.
- 23:34>> She's putting the liquid in first
- 23:36instead of the I go, "What are you
- 23:37doing? That's not what it says."
- 23:39>> Mhm.
- 23:39>> Of course, it didn't come out right.
- 23:41Later on, I thought, "This is why people
- 23:43fail."
- 23:44>> Mhm.
- 23:45>> There is a recipe for success.
- 23:47>> And they try to get creative with it.
- 23:48>> their own thing. It's like they they
- 23:50they don't even follow the recipe.
- 23:52>> Yeah.
- 23:52>> So
- 23:53for me it was real simple.
- 23:55>> Even if they had all the ingredients.
- 23:56Yeah.
- 23:56>> They do it wrong. So when I was reading
- 23:58the book, it said,
- 24:01"Axiom for business. A, find a need and
- 24:05fill it."
- 24:07Right?
- 24:08>> Right.
- 24:08>> People sometimes have heard that. Most
- 24:10young entrepreneurs have never heard
- 24:12that. I one guy said, "That's the most
- 24:14profound thing I ever said." I go,
- 24:16"Well, I didn't invent that. That's been
- 24:18around forever." "I've never heard it."
- 24:20I go, "I don't know why."
- 24:22>> Oh, yeah.
- 24:22>> Secondly,
- 24:24tell me if you heard this one.
- 24:26Build a better mousetrap.
- 24:27>> Mhm.
- 24:28>> Do you ever hear that?
- 24:28>> Yep.
- 24:29>> Okay, yeah.
- 24:29>> Kind of.
- 24:30>> Okay, most people have never heard that.
- 24:32What that means is you take something
- 24:34that's already selling very well, which
- 24:37which which fills a need that people
- 24:39have. I have mice, I need a mousetrap.
- 24:41Now you take that and make it better.
- 24:44That's build a better mousetrap. So
- 24:47that's how you become successful in
- 24:48business or pick a product. You find a
- 24:51need and fill it, or you find something
- 24:53that's already a huge success and make
- 24:55it better.
- 24:56>> Mhm.
- 24:56>> Do something innovative to it.
- 24:58Build a better mousetrap. And that's
- 24:59what I did. So I said, "Fine.
- 25:01I'm not going to find a need and fill
- 25:03it. I'm too young. I don't know what
- 25:04people need. But I can build a better
- 25:06mousetrap." So I went and said, "What
- 25:09ads are running in the National
- 25:10Enquirer?"
- 25:12And then I my aunt had like National
- 25:14Enquirers for like 3 years in a row
- 25:16because she would like stack them up. So
- 25:18I said, "This is perfect.
- 25:20If an ad is running
- 25:22week after week after week for 2 years
- 25:25it's working.
- 25:27Right? That makes sense.
- 25:28So I found a few. I go,
- 25:31"Those are working."
- 25:32>> Proof of concept.
- 25:33>> I write in and I find out what they're
- 25:35selling and how they're selling it. So I
- 25:38have their direct mail pieces, I have
- 25:39their ads, and I go,
- 25:42"There's a mousetrap.
- 25:43Let me make it better."
- 25:46And that's all I did. Their sales letter
- 25:48was too long.
- 25:50And their book that they were selling
- 25:52was 300 pages. And I thought,
- 25:54"I bet you people would be motivated if
- 25:56their sales letter was only
- 25:58a page long
- 25:59cuz it was quick to read. And if I told
- 26:02them instead of a 300-page book, if I
- 26:03said,
- 26:04"What you're going to buy is one piece
- 26:06of paper, which will take less than 5
- 26:08minutes to read, and you'll learn the
- 26:10secret."
- 26:11Because one of the things that Ben
- 26:13Suarez said, "If you sell something,
- 26:15make sure it's quick and easy."
- 26:18So that's what I did. I built a better
- 26:20mousetrap. So I put together
- 26:22I I I read what was out there, and I I
- 26:24didn't invent anything. I just kind of
- 26:25repackaged
- 26:27a report on how to raise $10,000 in 24
- 26:31hours,
- 26:33which was by opening up various bank
- 26:34accounts and getting overdraft
- 26:35protection, which nobody knew you could
- 26:38actually do that.
- 26:39>> And how old were you at this time?
- 26:40>> 13. 12, 13.
- 26:43So I I would mail this out, and and the
- 26:45orders started flooding in. And this was
- 26:48cash money and money orders.
- 26:50>> Mhm. I mean, this was a no credit cards.
- 26:52I mean, so I would open up the thing and
- 26:54it'd be $35 in cash or $35 money order.
- 26:57>> Wow.
- 26:58>> And I'm sending them one piece of paper.
- 27:00>> And how did How did you know who how to
- 27:02mail? How did you know how to get this
- 27:03to
- 27:03>> the book in the book Seven Steps to
- 27:05Freedom and and the other one it
- 27:06basically gave me the it gave me the
- 27:08instructions.
- 27:09>> Yeah, and you followed them to the T.
- 27:10>> English. And I and and that's why I told
- 27:13you the story about the cake. I know how
- 27:15to follow instructions. Because to me
- 27:17instructions are critical. Follow the
- 27:20instructions.
- 27:21>> Yes.
- 27:22>> Do what it says and do it in the order
- 27:24it says. There's a reason why they're
- 27:25there. And if you're not sure, either
- 27:28ask questions, get clarification,
- 27:30understand why you're being told to do
- 27:31that versus you know, Alton Brown used
- 27:34to have a show on the Food Network and
- 27:36he would say do this and he goes,
- 27:37"Here's the reason why."
- 27:39>> Mhm.
- 27:39>> Cuz he goes, "If you mash the potatoes
- 27:41like crazy, it'll release too much of
- 27:43the starch and then you'll get gummy
- 27:44potatoes."
- 27:45>> Mhm.
- 27:46>> And if you put in hot uh uh hot milk or
- 27:49hot or
- 27:50>> Mhm.
- 27:50>> a cold milk or cold butter, you're going
- 27:51to get lumps.
- 27:52>> Mhm.
- 27:53>> That's why you want to have it at room
- 27:54temperature. So, not only did he tell
- 27:56you what to do, but he told you why and
- 27:58what the consequences were going to be
- 28:00if you didn't follow his instructions.
- 28:01>> Mhm.
- 28:02>> So, I kind of like that. So, that was
- 28:04how I basically started my business. It
- 28:06was just following instructions.
- 28:08>> Wow. And so, by the time you're 18, you
- 28:10make millions of dollars. You I'm sure
- 28:11you have a renewed sense of confidence.
- 28:13What happens next? Where do you go from
- 28:15there as you transition
- 28:16>> an organization called the Brotherhood,
- 28:17which which you can call a secret
- 28:19society. I had a a a mentor, which we
- 28:21called my uncle, and he knew about my
- 28:23stuttering problem and my insecurity and
- 28:25my shyness. So, he said, "I want you to
- 28:27read a book."
- 28:29I said, "Okay." And I was reading books
- 28:30like The Magic of Thinking Big and uh
- 28:33the the Power of Positive Thinking and
- 28:35The Magic of Believing. And I read, of
- 28:38course, Think and Grow Rich and The Law
- 28:39of Success in 16 Lessons. And I read
- 28:42many, many other books as well.
- 28:43Psycho-Cybernetics.
- 28:45And he said, "I want you to read this
- 28:46book." So, he gives me a book by a guy
- 28:49named Joe Girard.
- 28:50>> Mhm.
- 28:51>> How to sell anything to anyone. And it
- 28:53was about Joe Girard, the greatest
- 28:55salesman uh
- 28:56in the car business. And I'm reading
- 28:58this book going, "I can't do that. I
- 29:00would have to actually talk to people."
- 29:03>> Too much work, yeah.
- 29:04>> I I I'll throw up. I'll pass out. I
- 29:07can't I can't talk to somebody and
- 29:08heaven forbid they said no, they don't
- 29:09want to buy, cuz then I'll kill myself.
- 29:12You know, go in the back and I'll put a
- 29:13gun to my head. I said I
- 29:15So, I read this.
- 29:17Told my uncle, I said, "Thank you for
- 29:19the book, but how does that apply to
- 29:21me?"
- 29:22And he says, "Don't you think you need
- 29:24to do that?" I go, "I can't do that, you
- 29:27know."
- 29:27>> Yeah.
- 29:28>> And he says, "Well,
- 29:30why don't you make believe you could?"
- 29:32>> Mhm.
- 29:32>> I'll never forget that.
- 29:33>> Wow.
- 29:34>> why don't you just make believe you
- 29:35could?
- 29:36Why don't you just like put on an act
- 29:38like you're an actor and be a person who
- 29:39could do that?
- 29:42>> Act as if.
- 29:42>> Yeah. And I thought
- 29:44>> Mhm.
- 29:45>> Because no one knows you.
- 29:47If you go to a dealership where they're
- 29:48looking for a job, nobody knows who you
- 29:50are. Nobody knows you stutter. Nobody
- 29:51knows that you're shy. So, why don't you
- 29:53just put on an act of some other guy,
- 29:55like some crazy cocky salesman?
- 29:56>> Mhm.
- 29:57>> And act like that. See what happens.
- 29:59Do you think I should? He goes, "Well, I
- 30:01didn't give you the book for no reason."
- 30:03And I said, "Okay."
- 30:04Then
- 30:05the universe works perfect, man. Sunday,
- 30:07the next Sunday I open up the paper,
- 30:09there's an ad in there
- 30:11at uh the Pontic Lincoln uh no, Peterson
- 30:14Lincoln Mercury in Peabody,
- 30:16Massachusetts. Salesman
- 30:18>> Mhm.
- 30:19>> needed.
- 30:20Experience only need apply.
- 30:22>> Yes.
- 30:23>> Okay. So, I go.
- 30:25I'm in a suit and tie. Petersaurus was
- 30:27the sales manager.
- 30:29I said, "I'm here for the job." Sure,
- 30:30fill out this application. I fill it
- 30:31out. Course, I don't fill out anything
- 30:32cuz it says, "You know, where'd you work
- 30:34before?" It's all blank.
- 30:35>> Right.
- 30:36>> I lie about my age.
- 30:37>> How How old were you actually?
- 30:38>> I was 17.
- 30:39>> Yeah.
- 30:39>> So, I handed it and he brings me into
- 30:41the office and he looks at the
- 30:43application for the first time and he's
- 30:44going
- 30:45Where have you sold cars before? I said
- 30:48I've never sold any cars before in my
- 30:49life.
- 30:50And he goes the ad said experienced only
- 30:53need apply.
- 30:54>> Mhm.
- 30:54>> I go yeah, I know but I was thinking
- 30:56about that and I thought if a guy was
- 30:57experienced and he was so good what
- 31:00would he be doing here looking for a
- 31:01job?
- 31:01>> Mhm.
- 31:02>> And Peter goes well maybe he had
- 31:04problems at the other dealership or
- 31:05something. I go do you want somebody
- 31:07with problems?
- 31:09I go look I'm a blank slate. You can
- 31:12teach me I I don't have to be untrained.
- 31:14You can train me exactly the way you
- 31:16want to sell right from the beginning
- 31:18and I will work on straight commission.
- 31:20>> Mhm.
- 31:21>> Which means if I make a sale I get paid
- 31:22and if I don't I do not get paid so it
- 31:24doesn't cost you anything. He goes no if
- 31:26you blow out some good customers it does
- 31:27cost me sales. I go well that's true. I
- 31:31says but
- 31:32you really have less downside than if
- 31:35you hire some guy who has conflict
- 31:37problems.
- 31:38>> Right.
- 31:38>> He goes when can you start? I goes I'm
- 31:40dressed up I can start right now.
- 31:43Okay. Start. I says well
- 31:46the way I want to start though is by
- 31:48following the best salesman so I can see
- 31:51what they're doing cuz I had already
- 31:52learned the concept of flying the wall
- 31:54training.
- 31:55>> Success leaves clues, yeah.
- 31:56>> Correct. You watch and observe somebody
- 31:58else and then duplicate that pattern for
- 32:01success.
- 32:02So he said well there's the leaderboard
- 32:04right there with the top salesman based
- 32:06on the number of cars they've sold.
- 32:08>> Mhm.
- 32:09>> So I'm looking at the leaderboard and it
- 32:10says Dave Zola
- 32:12Mark Zola I'm assuming they're related
- 32:15and a guy named Jerry Green and then a
- 32:16whole bunch of other guys.
- 32:18>> Mhm.
- 32:18>> So as I'm looking at this this fellow
- 32:20walks in an older guy gray hair.
- 32:23He says uh
- 32:26You're looking at the leaderboard. I
- 32:28says yeah I'm looking for the top
- 32:29salesman. I says where's you know Dave
- 32:31Zola? He goes well first off Dave Zola
- 32:33sold the most cars last month.
- 32:35>> Mhm.
- 32:36>> But I made the most money.
- 32:38I'm the third guy down, Jerry Green.
- 32:40>> Mhm.
- 32:41>> He goes, "If you want to learn how to
- 32:42sell cars, talk to Dave Zola or Mark.
- 32:45But if you want to If you want to learn
- 32:47how to make money in the car business,
- 32:49listen to your old Uncle Jerry."
- 32:51>> Mhm.
- 32:51>> And I go, "I don't understand that." So
- 32:53he explained to me how it worked, where
- 32:55you get a commission based on the
- 32:56profit.
- 32:57>> Mhm.
- 32:58>> Those guys just keep lowering the price
- 33:00and they they sell a lot of vehicles,
- 33:02but they don't make as much money
- 33:03because they get a commission based on
- 33:05gross profit, where Jerry holds the
- 33:06price and is a better salesman.
- 33:08>> Mhm.
- 33:08>> And he goes, "And I work less hours." He
- 33:10goes, "I don't even work that hard. And
- 33:12these guys are always hustling and so I
- 33:14watched both for about a week and
- 33:17learned how to sell
- 33:18uh and then tried it and then I got got
- 33:21into that business. So that was the
- 33:22business that I got into to get over my
- 33:24not to make money,
- 33:25>> Mhm.
- 33:25>> to get over my shyness and to start
- 33:27training myself
- 33:29at being better at communicating with
- 33:30people.
- 33:31>> How did you get into the brotherhood or
- 33:32the secret society?
- 33:33>> That was in 1969. I was 6 years old at a
- 33:37bowling alley. From the time I was born,
- 33:40I had the ability to see energy. And if
- 33:42you ever interviewed somebody who is
- 33:44classified as a clairvoyant or a
- 33:46psychic,
- 33:46>> Sure.
- 33:47>> uh or an empath or something like that,
- 33:49almost all of them say that when they
- 33:50were born, they had the ability to feel
- 33:52energy or in many cases see energy or
- 33:56see entities or see into dimensions or
- 33:59see auras or read your thoughts or know
- 34:03the future. They could see the past and
- 34:05so forth. And I was like that. So right
- 34:07from the beginning, I could really see
- 34:09all these dimensions. I didn't know what
- 34:11they were.
- 34:12>> Mhm.
- 34:12>> I could see beyond the physical.
- 34:15>> Mhm.
- 34:16>> When you look at something in this room,
- 34:18>> Mhm.
- 34:18>> your eyes are only seeing a reflection
- 34:22of light.
- 34:22>> Correct.
- 34:23>> That's it. So a bat is going to see
- 34:25things differently than you do.
- 34:27>> Mhm.
- 34:29>> That these change,
- 34:31all we're seeing is a perception of
- 34:33energy.
- 34:34>> Mhm.
- 34:34>> It's a reflection of light based on our
- 34:37eyes' ability to see that reflection of
- 34:39light based on the spectrum that it can
- 34:41pick up. That's why a bat will see it
- 34:44differently and a dog will see it
- 34:45differently. Our ears do the same thing.
- 34:47>> Mhm.
- 34:49>> When you start seeing in different
- 34:50dimensions, you're seeing from the
- 34:52mind's eye or the self, which means
- 34:55you're not seeing reflections of light
- 34:57>> Mhm.
- 34:57>> because you're not seeing it through
- 34:58your eyes.
- 34:59>> Mhm.
- 34:59>> And therefore, you're seeing what's
- 35:02behind
- 35:04the reflection of light, the energy.
- 35:06>> Mhm.
- 35:07>> It's virtually just clusters of
- 35:08molecules, isn't it? I mean, we all know
- 35:10that right now that everything in this
- 35:11room is made up of the same atoms.
- 35:14>> Mhm.
- 35:14>> It's just put together different. And we
- 35:16also know that there's more space in
- 35:18something, whether it's this book or
- 35:20this table, there's more space in here
- 35:23than a solid. It's 99% air or space.
- 35:25It's not even air because
- 35:27air is just
- 35:28>> so tightly together, yeah.
- 35:29>> You don't You don't see it, but it's
- 35:31it's emptiness, really. It just
- 35:33perceives to be
- 35:35in this dimension solid.
- 35:37>> Mhm.
- 35:38>> So, with that ability,
- 35:40I also noticed that everybody else
- 35:41around that I was talking to was in a
- 35:43trance or asleep because I couldn't see
- 35:45that energy.
- 35:46>> Mhm.
- 35:46>> So, I could see the energy and everybody
- 35:48else I was walking around was virtually
- 35:49asleep.
- 35:50>> Did you know how to articulate it that
- 35:51young?
- 35:52>> No, but I also knew that it was
- 35:53irrelevant and also ridiculous to even
- 35:55try because everyone was asleep. So,
- 35:58they didn't What was the point of even
- 36:00talking to them about something they
- 36:01couldn't even comprehend.
- 36:02>> Right.
- 36:02>> The mind cannot comprehend something
- 36:04that's beyond itself.
- 36:05>> Right.
- 36:06>> So, I was in So, I
- 36:07I'm different. That's it. And I had I
- 36:09didn't see anybody that could see.
- 36:11Nobody was awake. Everybody was asleep.
- 36:13>> Did you have any siblings at the time or
- 36:15friends when you were younger that you
- 36:16could relate to or anything?
- 36:17>> No, no, no. I mean, I I basically
- 36:19entered planet Earth, if you will, in
- 36:22this realm and engaged in that, but from
- 36:26a from a point of being a witness and an
- 36:27observer.
- 36:28>> Right.
- 36:29>> So, I'm in this bowling alley and all of
- 36:31a sudden I perceive somebody's in the
- 36:33room who's awake.
- 36:35>> Mhm.
- 36:35>> I could sense it so for the first time
- 36:38in my life.
- 36:38>> Wow.
- 36:39>> And all of a sudden instantly this
- 36:40fellow says, "You can see what's in the
- 36:42corner of that of the room, can't you?"
- 36:45And I looked at him and he's awake.
- 36:47>> Wow.
- 36:47>> And if you can imagine, I got I want if
- 36:48I ever do a movie or something, I got to
- 36:50figure out how to actually visualize
- 36:51this where everyone is in this trance
- 36:53and all of a sudden him him and I are
- 36:55the only two that are awake, right? And
- 36:57I said, "Yeah, I can see that." He goes,
- 36:58"Yeah, so can I. You can see what's up
- 37:00there, yeah. You can see what's outside.
- 37:01You can see and then we're yeah." And he
- 37:03goes, "But, you can't control it." I go,
- 37:05"No." He says, "Um I can teach you how
- 37:07to control it." I says, "I
- 37:10I'm ready."
- 37:11That was it.
- 37:12>> And you were that young?
- 37:13>> Yeah. And you know,
- 37:15it was a different era back then. So, if
- 37:16a young boy went with a young a an older
- 37:19man,
- 37:20>> Yeah, yeah.
- 37:20>> it wasn't weird, you know.
- 37:21>> You said you were how old? Six?
- 37:23>> Six, yeah.
- 37:23>> Wow.
- 37:23>> So, he said, "Okay, fine." He says, "So,
- 37:25now next Saturday when you come to the
- 37:26bowling alley, we'll spend a little time
- 37:28over there, you know, have a Coca-Cola
- 37:30while your parents are bowling." Which
- 37:32was fine. We're amongst a big group of
- 37:33people and everything was good. But, he
- 37:35was training me of how to use my mind.
- 37:37He was in an organization called the
- 37:39Brotherhood, which I didn't know about
- 37:41till a few years later I understood what
- 37:42it was. And then I was brought in and
- 37:44and officially made a member.
- 37:47>> What is that like secret society? What's
- 37:49the truth behind them that people don't
- 37:51realize?
- 37:51>> Well, I've been to Skull and Bones
- 37:53Island. That's a secret society ation.
- 37:55Now, I've been to Bohemian Grove and
- 37:57then there's other ones, Bilderberg
- 37:58Group. I've been to the many Bilderberg
- 38:00Group meetings I was invited.
- 38:02Basically, most of them are just groups
- 38:05of people that get together that
- 38:08pledge to help one another and use that
- 38:11those connections to advance each
- 38:13other's
- 38:15personal
- 38:17>> agendas.
- 38:17>> wealth and and and and and and desires
- 38:20and achievements and and mission. That's
- 38:22really what it comes down to.
- 38:23>> And what's the scope of the net worth or
- 38:25caliber of people in these secret
- 38:26societies or brotherhood?
- 38:27>> Well, it varies because not everybody is
- 38:29ultra wealthy because some of them are
- 38:31just talented. So, they could be in a
- 38:32position of
- 38:34um a teacher or professor professor, but
- 38:36they have that ability.
- 38:38And some of them are, you know, in
- 38:39charge of major financial institutions
- 38:42or government institutions and so forth.
- 38:44Most politicians, however, are not
- 38:46members. They're actually just too easy
- 38:49to manipulate because their ego's a
- 38:50little bit too uh out of control. So, we
- 38:53would actually control them which they
- 38:56were very easy.
- 38:57And some of the groups use a little
- 38:59nefarious means like Skull and Bones
- 39:02where the axiom is
- 39:04it's not what you know, it's who you
- 39:05know.
- 39:07No. It's not what you know, and it's not
- 39:09who you know. It's what you know about
- 39:12who you know.
- 39:14That's how you can control somebody.
- 39:16>> Yes.
- 39:16>> Us Epstein.
- 39:17>> Yes.
- 39:18>> What he knew about everybody means he
- 39:21had the ability to control them. You
- 39:22could call it blackmail, you could call
- 39:24it whatever you want to call it, but
- 39:26that's really what happens at the
- 39:28highest levels of whether it's
- 39:30government or business.
- 39:31>> What's the most shocking thing you ever
- 39:33experienced in the brotherhood or secret
- 39:34society?
- 39:36>> Well, I was with Henry Kissinger when he
- 39:39was discussing China because even though
- 39:41I was incredibly young, my ability to
- 39:43see the future and collapse time was
- 39:46right at the top level. So, I was
- 39:47brought into some of these high-level
- 39:48meetings. And the meeting was about
- 39:51China.
- 39:52Because at that time
- 39:54there were, you know,
- 39:56a billion people starving in China. I
- 39:58mean, China was a third world country.
- 40:00I mean, it was a third world country
- 40:02where there was mass starvation,
- 40:04especially under Mao.
- 40:06So, China was a horrible place to live
- 40:08and was a backwards third world country.
- 40:12And Henry was talking specifically about
- 40:15helping the Chinese first, then India
- 40:18and other countries, improving the
- 40:20quality of life and standard of living.
- 40:22And the way to do that is to move
- 40:24manufacturing out of America and Europe
- 40:28into China. Because wherever
- 40:29manufacturing is, that's where
- 40:31prosperity is. And that's been around
- 40:34forever. It's If you go back to
- 40:37when the British Empire, you know,
- 40:39controlled the the world, they were the
- 40:41manufacturing capital of the world. In
- 40:43Europe, the number one most prosperous
- 40:45country in Europe after World War II was
- 40:47Germany,
- 40:49which was the number one manufacturing
- 40:50company country in in Europe, Germany.
- 40:54United States, the number one most
- 40:55prosperous country in the world after
- 40:57World War II,
- 40:58what was the number one manufacturer in
- 41:00the world?
- 41:02Germany. So, when you start increasing
- 41:04manufacturing, when Japan all of a
- 41:07sudden became a manufacturing Mecca, the
- 41:09quality of life and standard of living
- 41:11went out of control. Now, China. And
- 41:14it's it's it's simple mathematics. You
- 41:16either own the
- 41:18natural resources in that country and
- 41:20manufacturing, which is the ideal scene,
- 41:22or you own manufacturing and you have as
- 41:24a colony the place that have the natural
- 41:25resources and you suck it out of that
- 41:27economy.
- 41:28And then when you manufacture something
- 41:30here and I send it over there and they
- 41:33pay me, I'm sucking money in from every
- 41:35country in the world and bring it into
- 41:37my country.
- 41:38I mean, it's it's not hard, but the
- 41:40politicians and and the the people in
- 41:44power want to
- 41:46fake you out and deceive you into
- 41:49thinking, "Oh, no, you don't need
- 41:50manufacturing to be prosperous. Oh, no,
- 41:53you don't need that." Which is the
- 41:55biggest lie out there. A country to be
- 41:57prosperous has to have manufacturing and
- 41:59natural resources, ideally both, but
- 42:01always manufacturing. No, absolutely. I
- 42:04absolutely agree and we see it nowadays
- 42:05more than ever.
- 42:07I want to ask then, early on you talked
- 42:09about, you know, getting into the secret
- 42:10society and the brotherhood. They
- 42:12obviously teach you things and built
- 42:14upon that special gift that you had
- 42:15already had. Talk to me about, you know,
- 42:17after your initial, you know, you talked
- 42:20about making money early on with direct
- 42:22response, you talked about the
- 42:23dealership building your your skills.
- 42:25Where do you go from that to then seeing
- 42:27the opportunity down the road for the
- 42:28infomercial where you end up making
- 42:30hundreds of millions of dollars?
- 42:32>> Well, in in my life
- 42:34after I, you know, went through the
- 42:36initial, oh, they live in big houses, I
- 42:39want I need to own my own business and I
- 42:40was in the brotherhood.
- 42:42After I made that money, I thought, who
- 42:44cares about this money?
- 42:45>> Mhm.
- 42:45>> I mean, let me just give it away. I
- 42:46don't care.
- 42:47>> Did you ever blow it or lose it all?
- 42:48>> I didn't blow it. I gave it away. So, I
- 42:50said, what charity can I give this to?
- 42:52I was not a person who blew money. I was
- 42:55a person who gave the money away.
- 42:56>> Mhm.
- 42:57>> Now, I would fly first class or I would,
- 43:00you know, have a nice meal. Those are my
- 43:02two things and nice clothes, but blowing
- 43:05the money, no. For example, I was in
- 43:06Monaco one time at the
- 43:09at the Grand Prix and it was some
- 43:12ultra club we went to or whatever it
- 43:13was.
- 43:14And I'm sitting there, they had what's
- 43:15called bottle service. You ever hear of
- 43:17bottle service? Okay, what a scam this
- 43:20is. I said, I'd like I'd like a Tanger
- 43:23I'd like a I'd like a Tanqueray Martini.
- 43:26They go, oh, we we have bottle service.
- 43:28I go, what is that? Well, you get a
- 43:29bottle of Tanqueray and a bottle of
- 43:31vermouth and some ice and you make your
- 43:33own drinks. I go,
- 43:34no, I want the bartender to make a drink
- 43:36for me. Why am I making my own drink?
- 43:37>> Right.
- 43:38>> No, that's how we do it here. Okay. All
- 43:40right, so I I get the menu and it the
- 43:42Tanqueray is like $400 a bottle. I go,
- 43:45excuse me, Tanqueray is like 25 bucks a
- 43:47bottle here. Why are you charging me
- 43:49400? Well, it's the ultra lounge and I
- 43:51go, does it say sucker across my
- 43:53forehead?
- 43:54And then this guy, all of a sudden I see
- 43:56these sparklers come out with this this
- 43:59two this two naked, you know, half naked
- 44:01women are coming out with this bottle of
- 44:02champagne and it's a bottle of Dom
- 44:04Perignon champagne. It wasn't even rosé
- 44:07and I don't think it was even a good
- 44:08vintage. And I'm looking and it's come
- 44:10it's you know some gaff year that like
- 44:12that nobody else would buy. But these
- 44:14these guys you know 25-year-old suckers
- 44:16are over there and they got the all the
- 44:18sparklers and the girls are dancing
- 44:19around and the guys are like oh yeah.
- 44:21And I go, "How much how much is that?"
- 44:23That's 10,000 euros.
- 44:25>> Oh my god.
- 44:25>> And I said, "Okay, I don't I'm in a room
- 44:28of stupid people.
- 44:30So get me out of here." I I left.
- 44:32>> Yes.
- 44:33>> I could How could I be in a room with
- 44:34stupid people?
- 44:35>> That's blowing money.
- 44:36>> Yeah.
- 44:37>> That's being absolutely stupid.
- 44:39>> Yeah.
- 44:39>> So
- 44:40So I left. I went to the bar back at the
- 44:42hotel. I said, "Can I have a Tanqueray
- 44:44martini, please, with vermouth?" Yeah.
- 44:46"How much is that going to be?" Oh, it's
- 44:48going to be 8 euros. Thank you very
- 44:49much.
- 44:50>> Yep, exactly. Yep.
- 44:51No, I love that. And so So then from
- 44:53then on, you know, you start
- 44:55experiencing a little bit of um you
- 44:57know, success and obviously talk about
- 44:58never blowing money. But take me back to
- 45:00to zooming in on where do you go from,
- 45:03you know, where the momentum you have in
- 45:04business early on to seeing the
- 45:05opportunity in the infomercial space?
- 45:07>> So it's an interesting story because
- 45:09after I made the money,
- 45:10I thought, "I don't care about this
- 45:12money. The money is completely
- 45:14overrated.
- 45:14>> Mhm.
- 45:15>> And I have zero interest in making
- 45:16money." So I talked to my uncle in the
- 45:18brotherhood, my mentor, and I go, "Look,
- 45:20I'm a spiritual person. I can I have all
- 45:22these spiritual gifts. You know, I can
- 45:24see energy. I can I can clear people's
- 45:26energy. I can do all these things. I'm
- 45:28being used in the brotherhood to to see
- 45:30the future and and help with different
- 45:32world leaders and and and manipulate
- 45:34their mind in in in a way.
- 45:36>> Is it cultivated or is it something that
- 45:39just was there?
- 45:40>> It was initially there, but it was
- 45:41cultivated and enhanced. So if you have
- 45:43great physical skills, then you it's
- 45:45like you're you're just a natural on the
- 45:47piano. Okay, good. But you get a coach
- 45:50and now you you take it to the next
- 45:51level. Okay.
- 45:52So it was definitely cultivated by
- 45:54experts and through real rigorous
- 45:57training.
- 45:58So I said, "Look, I I want to make money
- 46:00anymore. I don't want to be in business.
- 46:02This is really ridiculous. I can see all
- 46:03these other dimensions. This is just a
- 46:05joke anyway. I'd rather go and live in a
- 46:08monastery or an ashram and just
- 46:10basically ohm and meditate and enjoy the
- 46:12spiritual nature of of the world. And he
- 46:15says, "Well, look at your dharma."
- 46:18>> Mhm.
- 46:19>> And we pronounce it dharma, but it's
- 46:20actually pronounced dharm even though
- 46:23the A is silent at the end. And it's a
- 46:25Sanskrit word. It means duty.
- 46:28It's not mission or purpose. It's duty.
- 46:31It's like your responsibility. It's your
- 46:32agreement when you came on planet Earth.
- 46:35He goes, "Look at what your dharma is."
- 46:39And I didn't want to, but I looked I
- 46:41looked and I said,
- 46:43"It's really to positively in- influence
- 46:46people." He says, "Yes,
- 46:47you have a gift because we all have
- 46:51touch points or or energy points in our
- 46:55body and in our field. So, if you can
- 46:57imagine, you have a trillion points,
- 47:00like little holes in you, and I have the
- 47:02same number in me.
- 47:04Some of them are open
- 47:06and most of them are closed.
- 47:08Whatever I have open, energy comes out.
- 47:12>> Mhm.
- 47:12>> And if if number 1 billion 258 comes out
- 47:17and yours is open, I can connect with
- 47:19you.
- 47:20>> Mhm.
- 47:20>> So, therefore,
- 47:23if I have a lot of them open,
- 47:25I can connect with a lot of people.
- 47:27>> Mhm.
- 47:27>> If I don't have a lot open,
- 47:29I can only connect with a small amount
- 47:31of people who have the same ones open.
- 47:33Does that make sense?
- 47:34>> Mhm.
- 47:34>> He said, "Look Look and see how many of
- 47:37these points you have open." He goes,
- 47:39"It's like off the charts. I mean, look
- 47:42at planet Earth. How many people have
- 47:45this many open?"
- 47:46>> Mhm.
- 47:47>> "You are unique in this moment in time.
- 47:51You're here for a reason. Your ability,
- 47:54even though you don't speak well because
- 47:55you're tongue-tied and you stutter, your
- 47:59ability to
- 48:00with intention put out that love to
- 48:04people and what you intend to
- 48:06communicate even if the words come out
- 48:08stuttered, you will still connect and
- 48:11they'll still understand you.
- 48:13You can impact more people than others
- 48:16and that's what your mission is. If you
- 48:17live in an ashram, you won't be able to
- 48:19do that. So, if you take a different
- 48:21path, you'll be able to fulfill your
- 48:22dharma or your duty.
- 48:25I said, "Okay, fine."
- 48:28>> Yeah.
- 48:29>> And I remembered a scripture that I
- 48:31studied in the brotherhood and it says,
- 48:34"If you're if you're
- 48:36if you're willing and obedient, you will
- 48:39eat the fruit of the land and be blessed
- 48:41by the Lord."
- 48:42And I said, "Okay, I'll be obedient, but
- 48:45I'm not going to be willing."
- 48:47>> Half half the battle.
- 48:48>> And I thought, "That means I'm not going
- 48:50to be blessed. I have to be both. I have
- 48:51to not only just be obedient, but
- 48:53actually have to be willing."
- 48:55>> Yeah.
- 48:56>> And do it willingly, right? It says God
- 48:58loves a cheerful giver. Well, I wasn't
- 49:00very cheerful at doing this cuz I wanted
- 49:02to go to the ashram. I didn't want to
- 49:03get into business.
- 49:04But I I got I got over that, you know, I
- 49:06kind of accepted my my my dharma and I
- 49:10thought, "Okay, fine. I'll get into
- 49:11business."
- 49:12So, knowing what I knew about
- 49:14manifesting,
- 49:16I could basically create what I wanted.
- 49:18Now, I was told you have to achieve
- 49:20great success in business because this
- 49:23will give you credibility. So, if you're
- 49:25going to talk about whether it's a
- 49:26spiritual concept or if you're talking
- 49:29about love and consciousness, but you're
- 49:32also a wealthy businessman, you'll
- 49:33you'll have more people that will be
- 49:34willing to listen to you.
- 49:36>> They believe you.
- 49:36>> Yeah, if you're going to talk about how
- 49:38to manifest, but you've and you've
- 49:39manifested $25 billion worth of stuff
- 49:42over the years, people are going to
- 49:44listen to you. If you've gone through
- 49:45great adversity
- 49:47and went through it like you were, you
- 49:49know,
- 49:50Gene Kelly singing in the rain and
- 49:52everything's lovely no matter what it
- 49:54is, people are going to say this guy is
- 49:57awesome. I want to How did he handle
- 49:59that? If If he can handle that, I want
- 50:02to learn from him. You're going to be in
- 50:03a unique position and that's your
- 50:05future.
- 50:06Okay, fine. I'm I'm with you. So, let me
- 50:09try to manifest some stuff.
- 50:10So, I thought, all right. I need to
- 50:12manifest some I was in the automobile
- 50:14business. I had a
- 50:16a dealership, a franchise like a Mercury
- 50:18as a part owner and I thought I have to
- 50:20get out of this and get into some bigger
- 50:22realm. So, I need to manifest something
- 50:23where I have some bigger impact with a
- 50:26larger audience.
- 50:28Two
- 50:29Two days later, this guy walks into the
- 50:31dealership, Michael Van Masters, selling
- 50:33memory courses.
- 50:34>> Okay.
- 50:35>> And I thought, okay, I'll He He
- 50:37remembers everybody's name. He does all
- 50:39these other demonstrations. We flip over
- 50:41playing cards. He remembers all the
- 50:42playing playing cards.
- 50:44I go, this is awesome. And he goes, I
- 50:46can teach you how to do it, too. So, we
- 50:48all bought the memory course. We took
- 50:49the memory course and I'm like, oh my
- 50:51god, my memory is like so much better.
- 50:54This is cool. And he goes, you should
- 50:56come work for me and teach memory
- 50:58courses to large audiences.
- 51:00>> Wow.
- 51:00>> And I'm like, well, I asked and it was
- 51:04given.
- 51:05My wish has been granted.
- 51:06>> Did you write it down in a journal or
- 51:08was it a thought you had?
- 51:09>> No, you always have to write down your
- 51:10goals. So,
- 51:12if you have a desire for something you
- 51:14want, a goal or an objective, you have
- 51:16to take a white piece of paper and a pen
- 51:18with blue ink cuz the the the frequency
- 51:20of the blue ink against the white works
- 51:22better in the brain and you write down
- 51:24specifically what you want. You have to
- 51:26write it down. You have to transfer it
- 51:28from the ether into the physical
- 51:29universe. And I wrote this down. So, now
- 51:32I go to Chicago and I'm in the memory
- 51:33training business.
- 51:35So, I work for him and I say, you know,
- 51:37I need I can't just be a salesman and
- 51:39and and teaching the class. I'm being
- 51:41groomed to teach the class. I need to
- 51:43have a bigger a bigger footprint
- 51:46somehow.
- 51:47>> Two days later, they have the top
- 51:49salesman comes in and goes, "Hey, you
- 51:51and I generating 90% of the sales in
- 51:52this company, we should buy this guy
- 51:54out."
- 51:55>> No way, just like that.
- 51:56>> said, "Well, ask and it is given." So,
- 51:59we went in, bought him out.
- 52:01And now, I'm the president of the
- 52:03American Memory Institute, the world's
- 52:05largest memory training school. Within,
- 52:06I mean, like a nanosecond, I'm the
- 52:08president of the world's largest memory
- 52:10training school. And I'm like,
- 52:12"How did this happen? This is like
- 52:13magic." But, that's how it it hap- I
- 52:15know how it worked.
- 52:16>> Yeah.
- 52:17>> So, now I'm the president and I'm going
- 52:18to say I'm going to expand this around
- 52:19the world.
- 52:20>> And how old are you at this time?
- 52:21>> 20.
- 52:22So, we blow this thing up, you know,
- 52:25tens of millions of dollars in sales all
- 52:27around the world, and we're teaching
- 52:29memory seminars and so forth. And I go,
- 52:31"Okay, not big enough.
- 52:33I need to have a bigger reach. I need to
- 52:35I need to reach more people."
- 52:37And I write down,
- 52:39"What do I really want?" I goes, "You
- 52:40know, I'll tell you what I really want.
- 52:41I want a hundred thousand dollars a
- 52:42month being deposited in my bank account
- 52:45without me having to do anything."
- 52:46>> Right.
- 52:48>> I don't know how that's going to happen,
- 52:49but that's what I want. So, I write
- 52:50that.
- 52:51>> Mhm.
- 52:51>> Two weeks later,
- 52:53I'm in staying at the Plaza Hotel in New
- 52:55York City.
- 52:55>> Mhm.
- 52:56>> That's when it was the coolest hotel in
- 52:57New York City. I had this big suite.
- 53:00I'm eating
- 53:01lunch at the Carnegie Deli.
- 53:03>> Mhm.
- 53:04>> I'm having a Danny Rose sandwich, which
- 53:05was half corned beef, half pastrami on
- 53:08rye with mustard.
- 53:09>> With dip? Oh, I was going to say
- 53:10>> know what No, no, no, no. This is Yeah,
- 53:11yeah, yeah. I got I got a pickle there,
- 53:13but that was about it.
- 53:14So, I'm sitting at the table, and it's
- 53:16one long table and you sit next to
- 53:18people you don't know.
- 53:19>> Mhm.
- 53:19>> So, me and my my girlfriend were there.
- 53:21And and the guy sitting right next to my
- 53:23girlfriend, I'm looking at him, he's
- 53:24eating his sandwich.
- 53:26And he I recognized him from TV, and I
- 53:28said, "Hey, aren't you Bobby Singer, the
- 53:30blackjack expert from television?" He
- 53:32goes, "Yeah."
- 53:33I go, "I You know, I saw your
- 53:34infomercial, and I bought that course.
- 53:36It's a course on how to, you know, win
- 53:38at blackjack, the Bobby Singer method."
- 53:41I said it was really easy for me. I
- 53:43loved it cuz I'm a memory expert. I can
- 53:45remember all the playing cards. So when
- 53:46I go to Atlantic City or Vegas, I can
- 53:49count the cards and with your system, it
- 53:50was fantastic.
- 53:51>> Yep.
- 53:52>> He says, "You're a what?" I go, "I'm a
- 53:53memory expert." He goes, "Tell me about
- 53:55that." So I tell him.
- 53:56He goes, "You need to put that on a
- 53:58cassette course and sell it on TV
- 54:00infomercials."
- 54:01>> Mhm.
- 54:02>> I go, "No, no, no, it won't work on TV
- 54:03infomercials. Nobody will buy it. It's
- 54:05It's only really designed for salesmen
- 54:07and you have to sell it live and you
- 54:08have to teach it live. You can't teach
- 54:11it in a home study course." And I start
- 54:12doing you know
- 54:13>> Yeah, limiting beliefs.
- 54:14>> Exactly. Yeah, yeah, yeah. All the
- 54:15reasons why not, excuses, can't do it.
- 54:17>> And he's going, "I'll put up all the
- 54:18money and pay your royalty. I'll even
- 54:20give you an advance."
- 54:21>> No way.
- 54:22>> I go, "Well, listen, here's my business
- 54:23card. Send you know, you send me a
- 54:24contract, I'll think about it. I but I
- 54:26think you're going to lose all your
- 54:27money."
- 54:28So I go back to the Plaza Hotel back
- 54:30then. This is 1980 87.
- 54:32>> Mhm.
- 54:33>> I pick up the phone and I call my home
- 54:35answering machine. You may not know what
- 54:37those were but you had a call and and
- 54:39then it it didn't you had to go punching
- 54:41the code ding ding ding ding ding and
- 54:42then
- 54:43re- re- then you listen to your
- 54:44messages.
- 54:45So the message is, "Kevin, it's Dr.
- 54:47Duarte. I'm in
- 54:49Lake Tahoe and I bumped into an old
- 54:50friend of your Ed Ed Beckley, the TV
- 54:53infomercial guy from '84 when they
- 54:54deregulated on the Millionaire Maker,
- 54:57the real estate guru and I told him what
- 54:59you were doing with the memory thing.
- 55:01And Ed says you should put that on a
- 55:03home study course and sell it with TV
- 55:05infomercials and he'll put up all the
- 55:06money and pay your royalty."
- 55:08>> So you have like the universe
- 55:09>> two people in the same day coming to me
- 55:13and I'm like
- 55:15okay.
- 55:16Okay, I I hear you. I'm going I hear
- 55:18you, right?
- 55:20>> Yes.
- 55:20>> I call up Ed. I said, "I just met this
- 55:22guy Bobby Singer." He goes, "I know
- 55:24Bobby Singer. He's terrific but go with
- 55:26me. I'm better."
- 55:27>> Right.
- 55:27>> I says, "Well, I don't know. I really
- 55:29like Bobby Singer. You have to give me a
- 55:30really good deal."
- 55:31>> Yeah, exactly.
- 55:31>> negotiating.
- 55:32>> You're creating a little bit of a you
- 55:33know a battle, yeah.
- 55:34>> I I "Look, whoever sends me the contract
- 55:36first is going to get the deal."
- 55:39Two days later,
- 55:40Federal Express comes to my door. Now,
- 55:44you don't you don't know, but back then,
- 55:46nobody got a Federal Express unless it
- 55:49was like huge. You had to be like the
- 55:52president of Paramount, you know,
- 55:54pictures to get a Federal Express. I
- 55:56mean, you had to be somebody, and it had
- 55:59to be urgent to get a Federal Express.
- 56:03Everyone's like, "Oh, a Federal Express.
- 56:06What is that?" You know,
- 56:07Mr. Trudeau. Mr. Trudeau. Federal
- 56:10Express. Open up, it's the contract from
- 56:12Ed Beckley. So, I read it over, sign it.
- 56:15Three days later, I get a letter
- 56:18>> Uh-huh.
- 56:18>> from Bobby Singer.
- 56:20And it's his contract. So, I call up
- 56:22Bobby, it's, "Hey, Bobby,
- 56:23you should have used Federal Express." I
- 56:25goes, "Ed Beckley used Federal Express,
- 56:27and I got I signed the contract." And
- 56:29I'll never forget this.
- 56:31Bobby Singer says, "I wanted to save
- 56:33$25, and it probably cost me $25
- 56:36million."
- 56:37>> Wow.
- 56:37>> And it did. It cost him actually $40
- 56:39million.
- 56:39>> Wow.
- 56:40>> That's what he would have made
- 56:41if he if I signed the contract with him.
- 56:44>> Wow.
- 56:44>> To save 25 bucks. So, I signed the
- 56:46contract with with with Ed. We did the
- 56:48infomercial. A few weeks later, the
- 56:50infomercial's running.
- 56:53He used Federal Express. He goes, "I'm
- 56:54going to Federal Express you a check
- 56:55every Friday." Back then, you didn't get
- 56:57ACH transfers. You got a check
- 56:59>> Right.
- 57:00>> that you could look at, you know, and
- 57:02smile, physically hold it, kiss it, you
- 57:04know.
- 57:06>> Make a photo of it, show your friends,
- 57:07right? This is what you did.
- 57:10So, I got the check. My first check,
- 57:12royalty check, was $276,000
- 57:14for the week.
- 57:15>> For the week?
- 57:16>> For the week. I was getting 15% royalty
- 57:18across the top. We did 180 million in
- 57:21sales in the next 18 months.
- 57:22>> And how old are you at this time?
- 57:23>> 20 Well, this was 1989. So, it's going
- 57:27to be 25, 26.
- 57:28>> 25. Okay.
- 57:30>> So,
- 57:31every week, my check was over 100 grand.
- 57:33Exactly what I had written down without
- 57:35me working cuz I shot one day. I shot
- 57:38the show one day and never had to shoot
- 57:39it ever again. I just got the check
- 57:41every single week. After the 18 months,
- 57:44uh the show was kind of winding down.
- 57:47So, I said, "Listen, you know, it's kind
- 57:48of run its life. Why don't we shoot
- 57:51another one?" "Nah, we think it's dead."
- 57:52>> Yeah.
- 57:53>> I said, "Okay, fine. I'll take the
- 57:54rights back." "Okay." So, I got the
- 57:55rights back and I shot my own
- 57:57infomercial and I did another 300
- 57:59million in sales with Mega Memory.
- 58:02Myself. And now I had all the money, not
- 58:04just the royalty, but I I I made all the
- 58:06money cuz I owned the product and I
- 58:09bought my own media time and so forth.
- 58:11But that's how I got into it. Wasn't
- 58:12some any master plan.
- 58:14There's a There's an axiom that
- 58:16>> Wow.
- 58:17>> that people I was taught
- 58:19I was taught this. I don't I didn't
- 58:21invent anything. I never say, "I call it
- 58:24this." No. I was taught this
- 58:26and this is what I share with others.
- 58:28What was taught to me. I was given the
- 58:30entire puzzle
- 58:32of total success in life.
- 58:34I know every puzzle piece.
- 58:36And all I'm doing is sharing what was
- 58:38taught to me.
- 58:39Everybody else is making stuff up along
- 58:42the way. They don't even know. I watch
- 58:44these podcasts with these gurus. I mean,
- 58:46major major success gurus and they're
- 58:49asked a question. And you know what
- 58:50their answer is?
- 58:52Well, I think
- 58:53>> Mhm.
- 58:54>> I don't Talk about Talk about You don't
- 58:56know?
- 58:57You think?
- 58:58>> And
- 58:59>> The The answer is they don't know. They
- 59:01know about it, but they don't know it.
- 59:03But I know it cuz I was taught it from
- 59:05the brotherhood. And this goes back a
- 59:06thousand years. It's so it's not made
- 59:09up.
- 59:09>> Mhm.
- 59:10>> I know exactly how the mind works. I can
- 59:11see it. So, I exactly know why you
- 59:13create success or why you don't, why you
- 59:15fail, why you create success and then it
- 59:17then it topples down. I know exactly. I
- 59:20don't know about it, I know it.
- 59:22So, there's a there's this formula that
- 59:24if you apply it, it actually does create
- 59:26create the results you want. And and and
- 59:28that's and that's what it is. But the
- 59:30one thing that I was taught that is so
- 59:32critical that everyone listening or
- 59:34watching should
- 59:36embrace.
- 59:38Go as far as you can see.
- 59:41And when you get there,
- 59:42you'll see further.
- 59:44>> Mhm.
- 59:45>> You have to have faith.
- 59:47You have to trust that there's stuff off
- 59:49your radar screen
- 59:51that you cannot see.
- 59:53You don't have to know everything.
- 59:55>> Mhm.
- 59:56>> If you're driving a car at night,
- 59:58you can only see as far as your
- 1:00:00headlights are.
- 1:00:01>> Right.
- 1:00:01>> And you can drive 1,000 mi.
- 1:00:03>> Mhm.
- 1:00:04>> You don't even think about that cuz
- 1:00:05every time you go a little further, you
- 1:00:06see a little further.
- 1:00:07>> Mhm.
- 1:00:08>> Life is the same way. All you have to
- 1:00:10know is what is the next logical step?
- 1:00:13Well, what are you going to do after
- 1:00:14that? I don't know.
- 1:00:16>> Mhm.
- 1:00:16>> When we get there, we'll figure it out.
- 1:00:18>> Mhm.
- 1:00:19>> And nobody has that faith. If you have
- 1:00:21that faith to just feel and go, you
- 1:00:24know,
- 1:00:25this is what the next logical step is.
- 1:00:27When I was in the automobile business,
- 1:00:29and the guy says, "I need you to work
- 1:00:30for me." I didn't know what how that
- 1:00:32would turn out moving from Boston to
- 1:00:34Chicago, but I knew that this was the
- 1:00:38next step.
- 1:00:40I didn't know anything beyond that.
- 1:00:43I'll go as far as I can see and when I
- 1:00:44get there, I'll see further.
- 1:00:45>> And you made hundreds of millions of
- 1:00:47dollars in your 20s.
- 1:00:48>> That's right. Yeah.
- 1:00:49>> Wow.
- 1:00:50>> just reading an old article my my my
- 1:00:51producer showed me, "Kevin, remember
- 1:00:53this Billiard Digest magazine? You're on
- 1:00:55the cover." Cuz I I started the
- 1:00:56International Pool Tour and it was
- 1:00:58talking about how I had, you know,
- 1:01:00natural cures and mega memory and we
- 1:01:02were bringing in $2 million a week in
- 1:01:05revenue
- 1:01:06and profits. I mean, this is back in,
- 1:01:09you know, the early '90s.
- 1:01:10>> And and what's going on inside of your
- 1:01:12like subconscious and your being as
- 1:01:13you're making that amount of money? Were
- 1:01:15you numb to it, immune to it? Does it
- 1:01:17become a bigger game or was there that
- 1:01:18high, that elation? Like cuz a lot of
- 1:01:20people dream about that. So,
- 1:01:22as somebody who experienced it, what is
- 1:01:23that like for people who aspire for
- 1:01:25that?
- 1:01:25>> me, and I can't talk about other people.
- 1:01:28For me, it was absolutely zero. It had
- 1:01:32no
- 1:01:32effect because it was the same way I
- 1:01:35felt when I made that butterfly cake.
- 1:01:38I just followed the recipe.
- 1:01:41And here it is. It's not hard. It's
- 1:01:44something anybody can do.
- 1:01:46>> Yeah, you don't just get excited about a
- 1:01:47cake. You just you followed the recipe.
- 1:01:49>> And there it is. So, I followed the
- 1:01:51recipe that was taught to me, the
- 1:01:5340-point algorithm for prosperity or
- 1:01:57abundance or success or how to achieve
- 1:01:59your goals or how to manifest your
- 1:02:01reality. That's the new buzzword today.
- 1:02:03But I just followed it. And the fact
- 1:02:05that it gave me the
- 1:02:08result was not a surprise
- 1:02:10>> Mhm.
- 1:02:10>> because it is a result that you get.
- 1:02:14It's like if you take these two
- 1:02:15chemicals and mix them together, it
- 1:02:16blows up. Remember we were we're in
- 1:02:17school. We have a I'm going to make a
- 1:02:20volcano.
- 1:02:20>> Mhm.
- 1:02:21>> And all you have to do is put
- 1:02:22bicarbonate of soda with with with
- 1:02:24something else and it bubbles up. You
- 1:02:26don't go
- 1:02:27"Wow, I'm so elated. This is a nice."
- 1:02:30It's like, "No, anybody who mixes those
- 1:02:32two chemicals, the same thing's going to
- 1:02:33happen. Why you you know, why you
- 1:02:35surprised?"
- 1:02:37>> Why do you think most people struggle
- 1:02:38then? Because there's people who work
- 1:02:39hard for years. There's people who read
- 1:02:40the books. They do their best to apply
- 1:02:42the principles, to follow instructions,
- 1:02:44but then for whatever reason they end up
- 1:02:45in a financial rut or they stay stuck
- 1:02:47despite their best of intentions. Why do
- 1:02:48you think that is? If they're being
- 1:02:50>> honest. So, the real question is why do
- 1:02:51people fail who seem to be applying the
- 1:02:56success principles?
- 1:02:57>> Yes.
- 1:02:57>> And I can tell you exactly. I'm not
- 1:02:59going to say, "Well, I think." No, I'm
- 1:03:01not going to tell you that. I'm going to
- 1:03:02tell you exactly why.
- 1:03:04Number one,
- 1:03:05they don't know the formula.
- 1:03:08And I ask people, "What books have you
- 1:03:10read?" Well, I read Thinking and Grow
- 1:03:11Rich. I read The Law of Success in 16
- 1:03:12Lessons. I read Ask and It Is Given. I
- 1:03:15I've read this. I've read that. I've
- 1:03:16read this. Good. Tell me the formula
- 1:03:19step-by-step to manifest something.
- 1:03:21What's the first step?
- 1:03:23>> Uh
- 1:03:24um
- 1:03:25>> Feel good now?
- 1:03:28Okay, fail.
- 1:03:29Fail. Go back to grade one.
- 1:03:32You failed. You don't know the recipe.
- 1:03:33So, number one, they don't even know the
- 1:03:35recipe. Number
- 1:03:36And the recipe if if there's a there's
- 1:03:3840 points to the algorithm, but the but
- 1:03:40the basic recipe, like the basic cake
- 1:03:43recipe, is you got to know what you
- 1:03:44don't want. You got to clearly define
- 1:03:46what you do want and have it written
- 1:03:47down. You have to see yourself in
- 1:03:48possession of what you want and feel now
- 1:03:50as if you actually had it. And then you
- 1:03:51have to release attachment to the
- 1:03:53outcome by saying even if it never
- 1:03:54happens, it's perfectly okay. That's the
- 1:03:56recipe. That's the basic recipe. Arnold
- 1:03:59Schwarzenegger talks about it in his
- 1:04:00Netflix documentaries. Jim Carrey talked
- 1:04:03about it. Anybody who's successful talks
- 1:04:04about it even if they didn't even if
- 1:04:06they don't consciously know they applied
- 1:04:08it, they tell you exactly that's what
- 1:04:09they did.
- 1:04:10So, that's the basic. They don't know
- 1:04:11it. Number two, they don't apply it
- 1:04:13properly.
- 1:04:15>> Mhm.
- 1:04:15>> For example, people always say, "I I'm
- 1:04:17applying it properly." Okay, well, tell
- 1:04:19me what you want. "I want this black
- 1:04:20Mercedes S-Class." Okay, good. You know
- 1:04:22exactly what you want. Okay, and have
- 1:04:24you seen you I picture myself in
- 1:04:25possession. I have my dream board. I
- 1:04:26have pictures of it. Okay, good. And
- 1:04:28then they say something stupid like,
- 1:04:30"And when I get it, I'm going to feel so
- 1:04:33good."
- 1:04:33>> Mhm.
- 1:04:34>> So, here's the error that most people
- 1:04:36make. When
- 1:04:38I attain what I want, then I'll feel a
- 1:04:42certain way, but not until then.
- 1:04:45You'll never get it.
- 1:04:46Because they're not following the
- 1:04:47formula properly. The formula says you
- 1:04:49feel now as if you already were in
- 1:04:51attainment of it.
- 1:04:52And then release attachment to the
- 1:04:54outcome, which means you don't even have
- 1:04:55to get it and you're still feeling the
- 1:04:56same way.
- 1:04:57>> How can one cultivate that feeling
- 1:05:00inside now if they don't have what they
- 1:05:01desire yet?
- 1:05:02>> Using your imagination.
- 1:05:04We have a powerful imagination. If I if
- 1:05:07I were to tell you to imagine there's a
- 1:05:08lemon right here and cut the lemon in
- 1:05:10half. Now, imagine you have in your own
- 1:05:12hand a half of lemon.
- 1:05:13>> Mhm.
- 1:05:13>> And you look at that lemon. And if
- 1:05:15everybody at home is doing this, imagine
- 1:05:17there's a half of lemon in in your hand.
- 1:05:19Feel the texture of that lemon in your
- 1:05:20hand. Look at it. Maybe you can see some
- 1:05:23of the juice and some of the beads of
- 1:05:24liquid coming up. Now, smell the lemon
- 1:05:26and just imagine what that lemon smells
- 1:05:29like. Use your imagination.
- 1:05:30>> Mhm.
- 1:05:30>> Now, just think about the how tart that
- 1:05:32lemon is. And tart to very tart, very
- 1:05:34tart, very bitter. Now, hold it up to
- 1:05:36your mouth. Open up your mouth and get
- 1:05:37ready. And ready? Bite down on it.
- 1:05:41Okay, you're salivating.
- 1:05:42>> Mhm.
- 1:05:43>> I'm salivating, you're salivating,
- 1:05:44anybody watching doing it salivating.
- 1:05:46>> Back then.
- 1:05:46>> Because your body and mind doesn't know
- 1:05:49the difference between reality and your
- 1:05:51imagination.
- 1:05:52That's how powerful your imagination is.
- 1:05:54Einstein said it, Walt Disney said it,
- 1:05:56imagination is more powerful than
- 1:05:58anything when it comes to manifesting or
- 1:06:00creating what you want. It's all about
- 1:06:01your imagination.
- 1:06:03So, step one is they don't know the
- 1:06:05formula, step two, the reason they fail
- 1:06:07is they don't apply it properly. Step
- 1:06:09three, they they have counter
- 1:06:10intentions.
- 1:06:11>> Mhm.
- 1:06:12>> Now, this is huge.
- 1:06:13If you came from a family, your mother
- 1:06:16and father and their and all your
- 1:06:18ancestors, none of them were wealthy,
- 1:06:20you probably have counter intentions in
- 1:06:22your DNA
- 1:06:23>> Mhm.
- 1:06:23>> about money.
- 1:06:25Such as, money is the root of all evil.
- 1:06:28>> Mhm.
- 1:06:28>> Rich people will not go to heaven.
- 1:06:30>> Mhm.
- 1:06:31>> We can't make money. We grew up on the
- 1:06:33wrong side of the tracks. We're not
- 1:06:35smart enough to make money. We don't
- 1:06:37come from the right class. We're not the
- 1:06:38right skin color. We're not the right
- 1:06:40religion. We don't have the right
- 1:06:41intelligence. We don't have the right
- 1:06:43friends. We don't have enough money. It
- 1:06:45takes money to make money. You could
- 1:06:46have all these counter intentions from
- 1:06:48your your mother or father or any of
- 1:06:50your ancestors. They could have put
- 1:06:52together a postulate, call it a belief,
- 1:06:55something, they made a decision.
- 1:06:58Scientists now tell us that if there was
- 1:07:01trauma in your ancestors as far as seven
- 1:07:03generations back, it's in your DNA.
- 1:07:05>> Right.
- 1:07:06>> We know this now. Science has proven it.
- 1:07:08I learned about it in the Brotherhood
- 1:07:09back in the '70s.
- 1:07:11But now it's scientifically proven to be
- 1:07:12true. Even the Bible talks about how the
- 1:07:16sins of the father are passed down seven
- 1:07:18generations. It would actually be
- 1:07:20scriptural or spiritual principle as
- 1:07:23well. It talks about in the Mahabharata
- 1:07:25or the Mahabharat
- 1:07:26>> Mhm.
- 1:07:27>> and the Ramayam in in India and the
- 1:07:29Quran and all these books say the same
- 1:07:31thing. So the point is you could have
- 1:07:33counter intentions in your DNA or even
- 1:07:35in your own memory from this lifetime or
- 1:07:37previous.
- 1:07:38So those counter intentions have to be
- 1:07:40neutralized. They have to be
- 1:07:42cleared.
- 1:07:44>> Mhm.
- 1:07:44>> If you don't clear them out, you have
- 1:07:46this glass ceiling that's going to be
- 1:07:47stopping you.
- 1:07:49The counter intentions are on money,
- 1:07:51relationship, leadership ability, the
- 1:07:53ability to dream big,
- 1:07:55>> Mhm.
- 1:07:55>> and several others. So you have to clear
- 1:07:57out counter intentions.
- 1:07:58>> How can one clear them out?
- 1:08:00>> Well, you clear them out by first
- 1:08:01feeling them
- 1:08:03>> Mhm.
- 1:08:03>> and then realizing that they're there
- 1:08:05and then working through with willpower.
- 1:08:08The way we cleared them out in the
- 1:08:10Brotherhood is I actually sat down
- 1:08:12because
- 1:08:13my dad was a welder. There was no wealth
- 1:08:15in any of my family. They were all It
- 1:08:16was all poverty.
- 1:08:17>> Mhm.
- 1:08:18>> So I had counter intentions on money. I
- 1:08:20didn't have counter intentions on
- 1:08:21relationships because in my family tree
- 1:08:23everybody was married and you know,
- 1:08:25>> Fair enough.
- 1:08:25>> they stayed together or or at least
- 1:08:27stayed together anyway.
- 1:08:27>> Right. Yeah, fair enough.
- 1:08:29>> But I mean it was a commitment to
- 1:08:31family, right? Once you made that
- 1:08:33commitment, it was family and you know,
- 1:08:37blood is thicker than water type thing.
- 1:08:39>> Mhm.
- 1:08:39>> So whether there was happiness and bliss
- 1:08:41all the time,
- 1:08:42the thought of
- 1:08:44ending a relationship once you made that
- 1:08:46commitment was not even an option.
- 1:08:48>> Mhm.
- 1:08:48>> So I had I didn't have counter intention
- 1:08:50there.
- 1:08:51But I had counter intention on money. So
- 1:08:53I had to go to people that were
- 1:08:55energy proficient that could go into the
- 1:08:58DNA and actually clear it out by
- 1:09:00neutralizing it by broadcasting their
- 1:09:02own frequency.
- 1:09:03>> Mhm.
- 1:09:03>> Energy work we call it. So, this counter
- 1:09:06intention. Now, the next one
- 1:09:09is habits.
- 1:09:11>> Mhm.
- 1:09:11>> So, somebody follows the recipe
- 1:09:12properly, let's say. Let's say they
- 1:09:14followed they know the recipe and they
- 1:09:15follow the success formula.
- 1:09:17And let's say they clear out all the
- 1:09:18counter intentions. Things are looking
- 1:09:20really good, but they still struggle.
- 1:09:22>> Mhm.
- 1:09:23>> Because they have failure habits.
- 1:09:26And they're operating out of habit.
- 1:09:27>> Mhm. Failure habits, I love that, yeah.
- 1:09:30>> Unconsciously competent when it comes to
- 1:09:32applying failure habits. They do it
- 1:09:34automatically.
- 1:09:34>> And consistently. They're really good at
- 1:09:36it.
- 1:09:36>> And you don't even know it. So, for
- 1:09:37example, you watch people's speech
- 1:09:40patterns. You know what I mean?
- 1:09:43Somebody says that, you know what I
- 1:09:44mean?
- 1:09:45>> Mhm.
- 1:09:45>> And you don't even hear it, you don't
- 1:09:46even think about it because you say it
- 1:09:48all the time. You know what I mean?
- 1:09:49>> Mhm.
- 1:09:50>> You you
- 1:09:51Right? It could be
- 1:09:52It could be that speech pattern.
- 1:09:54You could say the speech pattern and
- 1:09:55whatnot.
- 1:09:57>> Mhm.
- 1:09:57>> And you don't even realize that you say
- 1:09:58something and whatnot. You say something
- 1:10:00else and something else and whatnot.
- 1:10:02There's a pattern and it's habit. You
- 1:10:04don't even realize you're saying it. You
- 1:10:06do things out of habit. You say
- 1:10:08something like, oh
- 1:10:10I'm such a loser. I mean, that's a
- 1:10:11habit. You say something out of habit.
- 1:10:14>> Mhm.
- 1:10:14>> So, a lot of times you say things out of
- 1:10:16habit that are failure habits and
- 1:10:19producing more failure. You think things
- 1:10:21out of habit. Like, oh, when will
- 1:10:24Why are we looking at a plane? Can't
- 1:10:26afford that.
- 1:10:27When we get the money, we'll look at
- 1:10:28that. That's a failure habit. Successful
- 1:10:31people don't say that.
- 1:10:32>> Yeah.
- 1:10:33>> Successful people don't say, oh, let's
- 1:10:35not look at that because we can't afford
- 1:10:37it. When we get the money, then we'll
- 1:10:39look at it. No, a success habit is we
- 1:10:43don't have the money to buy that. Which
- 1:10:45means we need to look at it. We need to
- 1:10:47get it into our field so that the
- 1:10:49universe will give us enough money so we
- 1:10:50can.
- 1:10:51>> Mhm.
- 1:10:52>> We have to We have to know what we want
- 1:10:54first before the money can catch up.
- 1:10:56>> Absolutely.
- 1:10:56>> have
- 1:10:56>> expand our dreams. That's a success
- 1:10:59habit, but we have a failure habit of
- 1:11:01thinking small. Give me another example.
- 1:11:03I had a friend of mine
- 1:11:04who was trained in all this stuff, and
- 1:11:06he was doing contracts, and he goes,
- 1:11:08"You know, I'm struggling with
- 1:11:09closing deals, and they're just not
- 1:11:10happening." And I go, "Well, do you
- 1:11:12realize you have a habit? Every time you
- 1:11:13look at a contract, you say the same
- 1:11:15thing. You pick out one or two
- 1:11:16paragraphs, and you say, 'I have a
- 1:11:18concern with this paragraph.'"
- 1:11:21>> Mhm.
- 1:11:21>> When you say, "I have a concern,"
- 1:11:24fear instantly gets activated.
- 1:11:27>> Mhm.
- 1:11:27>> Because if you have a concern, I have a
- 1:11:29concern,
- 1:11:30this fear
- 1:11:31>> Mhm.
- 1:11:31>> fear repels success. It pushes it away.
- 1:11:35>> Yes.
- 1:11:35>> So, every time you say I have the use
- 1:11:37the word concern,
- 1:11:39it's blowing the deal up. The universe
- 1:11:40is just making sure that it doesn't
- 1:11:42happen.
- 1:11:42>> Right. It's honoring your signal.
- 1:11:44>> Correct. I go, "So, change it. Why don't
- 1:11:46you say, 'I have a question about
- 1:11:48this.'" That's neutral.
- 1:11:49>> Right.
- 1:11:50>> "I'd like clarity on this." That's
- 1:11:52neutral.
- 1:11:54I go, "But listen, forget about neutral.
- 1:11:56Let's take power. Watch this."
- 1:12:00"This paragraph,
- 1:12:02I think there's a way we can make this
- 1:12:03better."
- 1:12:03>> Mhm.
- 1:12:04>> Bam! So, here's a paragraph that first
- 1:12:08you can say I have a concern about, I
- 1:12:10have a question, I'd like clarity, or
- 1:12:13you can say,
- 1:12:15"I think we can make this better."
- 1:12:16>> Mhm.
- 1:12:17>> Which is the most powerful? You can even
- 1:12:19feel it.
- 1:12:19>> Right.
- 1:12:20>> Right? So, if I look at something and
- 1:12:21say, "Hey, there's a paragraph here.
- 1:12:23Let's make this better."
- 1:12:24>> Mhm.
- 1:12:24>> Bam! Number one, I'm in control.
- 1:12:26>> That's right.
- 1:12:26>> If it is to be, it's up to me. I'm
- 1:12:28taking charge. The whole universe stands
- 1:12:29up and go, like, "He's made a decision
- 1:12:31that he's going to make this happen.
- 1:12:33That's it, period. We need to go to work
- 1:12:35and conspire to help him."
- 1:12:36>> Mhm.
- 1:12:37>> And the other guy crumbles.
- 1:12:39Because you've just taken power and the
- 1:12:41lead. You now are at cause over your
- 1:12:45environment instead of being at effect.
- 1:12:47>> Mhm. Nothing in life has any meaning
- 1:12:49except the the we give it.
- 1:12:51>> Absolutely correct.
- 1:12:52>> Yeah. One of the things One of the
- 1:12:53things on our team, too, we talk about
- 1:12:54is nobody on the team is allowed to use
- 1:12:56the word problem. So, sometimes they'll
- 1:12:58use challenge or like, "Oh, but we have
- 1:12:59an opportunity with this situation."
- 1:13:01Right? And those little things become
- 1:13:03transformational vocabulary. Even with
- 1:13:05my significant other, uh we never call
- 1:13:07it a fight or argument, we call it a
- 1:13:08spirited debate.
- 1:13:09>> Mhm. Yeah.
- 1:13:10>> Right? Because then it it changes the
- 1:13:11energy totally and now you can operate
- 1:13:13in a different pattern of using that and
- 1:13:15it'll take you in a totally different
- 1:13:17trajectory versus something else, right?
- 1:13:19Another thing is like you know, "How was
- 1:13:21this?" "Oh, it was good." versus "It was
- 1:13:23great. It was excellent. It was
- 1:13:24phenomenal." You can't feel phenomenal
- 1:13:26if you don't use the word phenomenal.
- 1:13:28And most people have such a limited
- 1:13:29vocabulary and because of that limited
- 1:13:30vocabulary, they have limited emotions.
- 1:13:32Because of those limited emotions, they
- 1:13:33have limited experiences and expression.
- 1:13:35And so, I love that you break that down
- 1:13:37that it it really starts with us. We
- 1:13:39think we're out here going for stuff
- 1:13:41when in reality and and you know, you're
- 1:13:43a great testament to it, it's about
- 1:13:44cultivating within. Obviously, you know,
- 1:13:47taking the action, but when you do that,
- 1:13:49things come to you. Right? You're having
- 1:13:50lunch at the Plaza Hotel that turned
- 1:13:52into hundreds of millions in your 20s.
- 1:13:54You couldn't have thought and hustled
- 1:13:55and wrote down and been pissed off and
- 1:13:57dreamed and hoped and wished, but
- 1:13:59because you're living in the energy, it
- 1:14:00almost came to you. Do you find that
- 1:14:02when you're in secret societies or the
- 1:14:04brotherhood or even rub elbows with some
- 1:14:06of the most successful people in the
- 1:14:07world, do you find that a lot of them um
- 1:14:09also have stories like that where for
- 1:14:11lack of a better expression, things came
- 1:14:13to them? Obviously, they did the work uh
- 1:14:15versus, you know, pushing, they they
- 1:14:17were more pulling or attracting.
- 1:14:19>> So, in Calabasas, California here,
- 1:14:21there's a spa I go to. It's real famous
- 1:14:23called the Golden Door.
- 1:14:24>> Mhm.
- 1:14:25>> They have men's week six weeks a year
- 1:14:27and I've been going for decades.
- 1:14:29So, for a whole week, you have 35 guys
- 1:14:33and it's the same guys who've been
- 1:14:34coming for decades as well. So, a lot of
- 1:14:36them getting up in age, but there's a
- 1:14:37lot of young guys there, too. But these
- 1:14:38are incredibly successful guys. I was
- 1:14:40there one week and we kind of added up
- 1:14:42the collective net worth or how much
- 1:14:44money we controlled. It was over a
- 1:14:45trillion dollars.
- 1:14:46>> Wow.
- 1:14:47>> Well over a trillion between the 33
- 1:14:48guys.
- 1:14:49>> Mhm.
- 1:14:49>> The one common denominator
- 1:14:52and there's really not very many common
- 1:14:55denominators with successful people, but
- 1:14:57the one common denominator is that all
- 1:15:00successful people
- 1:15:03find the gold in adversity.
- 1:15:07>> Wow.
- 1:15:08>> When you look at J.D. Rockefeller
- 1:15:11>> Yeah, that just hit me big time.
- 1:15:12>> J.D. Rockefeller said the two things
- 1:15:15that made him wealthy He was a Baptist.
- 1:15:17A lot of people didn't know. Very
- 1:15:18religious person. Didn't drink. Didn't
- 1:15:20smoke.
- 1:15:21And he tithed
- 1:15:23because according to his religious
- 1:15:24tradition, you gave 10% of your income.
- 1:15:26>> That's right.
- 1:15:26>> And that was required and then you had
- 1:15:29to give an offerings on top of that. So,
- 1:15:31the minimum was 10%, but you had to give
- 1:15:33more to charity. And you had to do so
- 1:15:36silently
- 1:15:38and almost anonymously, not for fanfare,
- 1:15:41in order to get the blessings from God,
- 1:15:43which is a scriptural principle. It was
- 1:15:45a great book that talked about that
- 1:15:46called Magnificent Obsession.
- 1:15:48Spectacular book.
- 1:15:50A novel, but it's incredibly well worth
- 1:15:52reading.
- 1:15:54So, Rockefeller said that giving and he
- 1:15:56got his first paycheck, he said was a
- 1:15:58dollar 50. He gave 10% as his tithe and
- 1:16:015% more as an offering. And he goes he
- 1:16:03did it every single time he got money
- 1:16:05and it's the number one reason why he
- 1:16:06became success because the secret of
- 1:16:08living is giving. He said, "But the
- 1:16:10second thing, the second reason he
- 1:16:11created success was his He called it my
- 1:16:14uncanny ability to always find the seed
- 1:16:18of a greater benefit in every
- 1:16:20adversity."
- 1:16:21>> Mhm.
- 1:16:21>> He said, "Every adversity, every
- 1:16:23challenge, every disaster, every
- 1:16:26calamity
- 1:16:28that you face within it is a treasure
- 1:16:31chest.
- 1:16:32It is a gift from God.
- 1:16:35He said, "This is not something that you
- 1:16:38want to avoid. It's something you want
- 1:16:40to embrace. The universe does not do
- 1:16:43things to us. It does things for us.
- 1:16:46>> Yes.
- 1:16:47>> And when we get adversity, when we get a
- 1:16:49challenge, when we get a situation, as
- 1:16:51you wisely said earlier, they're all
- 1:16:53just opportunities. Right? There's no
- 1:16:55problems, there's situations,
- 1:16:56circumstances, there's situations and
- 1:16:58there's opportunities. How do you look
- 1:17:00at it? But in every adversity, and
- 1:17:02Napoleon Hill said this because he
- 1:17:03learned it from J.D. Rockefeller.
- 1:17:05>> Mhm.
- 1:17:05>> Because Rockefeller told Napoleon Hill
- 1:17:07when he put it in his book,
- 1:17:09"In every adversity is a seed of a
- 1:17:11greater benefit." You watch the History
- 1:17:13Channel. They have
- 1:17:14um, you know, the history of America's
- 1:17:17Titans,
- 1:17:19Carnegie, Ford, J.P. Morgan. You look at
- 1:17:22the food that built America with Kraft,
- 1:17:24Schlitz beer, all these, you name it.
- 1:17:28Mrs. Fields' cookies, Famous Amos
- 1:17:30cookies, uh,
- 1:17:31you know, Kentucky Fried Chicken.
- 1:17:33>> Right, Colonel Sanders, yeah.
- 1:17:34>> Yeah. You look at every single one,
- 1:17:37you look watch those shows, every single
- 1:17:40one of these people had a disaster,
- 1:17:43and it was the disaster that virtually
- 1:17:44bankrupted them. Out of that disaster
- 1:17:46came
- 1:17:48their their wealth.
- 1:17:49>> The gold.
- 1:17:50>> That's where they found the treasure.
- 1:17:53And Rockefeller did it. He was selling
- 1:17:55kerosene and he had to have it shipped
- 1:17:57on railroads. Well, there was two major
- 1:17:59railroads, Vanderbilt and some other guy
- 1:18:01who was with Carnegie. They were running
- 1:18:03the railroads and they got together and
- 1:18:05they said, "Hey, we can squeeze uh,
- 1:18:07Rockefeller. We're going to triple the
- 1:18:08price."
- 1:18:09>> Mhm.
- 1:18:09>> So, they told Rockefeller, "Hey, you
- 1:18:11want to ship your kerosene? You can only
- 1:18:14use us and we're tripling the price."
- 1:18:16Disaster, absolute disaster for
- 1:18:19Rockefeller. Rockefeller said,
- 1:18:23"There's a treasure chest here.
- 1:18:25I have to find it." So, he said he
- 1:18:27walked around his refinery and he was
- 1:18:30thinking, "I have this
- 1:18:32I have this blessing, you can call it a
- 1:18:33disaster, I have this blessing presented
- 1:18:35to me. I have to just find the treasure.
- 1:18:37I have to find the treasure. And as he's
- 1:18:38walking around,
- 1:18:40he's looking at all the pipes in his
- 1:18:42refinery, moving the oil from one side
- 1:18:45of the refinery to the other.
- 1:18:46And he says, "Wait a minute.
- 1:18:48If we can lay railroad track across
- 1:18:51America,
- 1:18:52why can't I lay I put down pipe across
- 1:18:55America and ship my oil via pipe? I
- 1:18:58don't have to use the railroad."
- 1:19:00Which is what he did. He created the
- 1:19:02pipeline, the oil pipelines.
- 1:19:03>> Wow.
- 1:19:04>> And he saved
- 1:19:07three times as much because it was
- 1:19:09cheaper than running it on the railroad.
- 1:19:10>> And created an entire new industry,
- 1:19:12yeah.
- 1:19:12>> And he then said to them, "Screw you."
- 1:19:16>> Right.
- 1:19:17>> His profits soared
- 1:19:19when the government tried to break up
- 1:19:21Standard Oil. A disaster.
- 1:19:24He made sure he had stock in all the
- 1:19:26companies, and when they broke it up,
- 1:19:28his net worth tripled.
- 1:19:30>> Yeah.
- 1:19:32>> He said, "Thank you.
- 1:19:34Thank you. Thank you, you stupid
- 1:19:36government politicians. You just tripled
- 1:19:39my net worth overnight."
- 1:19:42>> Can you share That's an incredible
- 1:19:43story.
- 1:19:44It's I'm literally like I got to
- 1:19:46>> happened to me. It happened to me. It
- 1:19:48happened to me. I get sued by the
- 1:19:50government, okay? I'm exposing corporate
- 1:19:52and government corruption corruption. My
- 1:19:54customers love me. They rebuy everything
- 1:19:56I I have. They recommend it to their
- 1:19:57friends. And the government sues me. And
- 1:19:59the government says, "We're shutting you
- 1:20:01down. You're going to be banned from TV
- 1:20:03infomercials even though not one
- 1:20:05customer complained."
- 1:20:06>> And what was their rationale at the time
- 1:20:07for people who don't know?
- 1:20:08>> rationale was that I was
- 1:20:10>> a charlatan.
- 1:20:12>> They Yeah, in the media they called me a
- 1:20:14lot of fun fun names, snake oil salesman
- 1:20:16and and charlatan and scammer and things
- 1:20:19like that. And I'm like, "I'm not
- 1:20:19saying, 'Who am I scamming?' I'm selling
- 1:20:21a book."
- 1:20:22>> Okay, that everybody loves.
- 1:20:23>> Right. I'm selling Mega Memory.
- 1:20:24Everybody loved it. Mega Speed Reading
- 1:20:26and Mega Math. Where's the charlatan?
- 1:20:28Where's the snake oil? I'm not I'm not
- 1:20:30selling snake oil. I'm not selling
- 1:20:32People love what I sell.
- 1:20:34They said, "Well, listen and behind the
- 1:20:36scenes they said, 'Look, we have to put
- 1:20:38these press releases out and we have to
- 1:20:39write them in a certain way for the
- 1:20:41politicians.'"
- 1:20:43And they were very open about it how it
- 1:20:44works because you're affecting the drug
- 1:20:47industry and the food industry and so
- 1:20:50the politicians have to say, "See what
- 1:20:51we did? We're attacking this guy." And
- 1:20:54it's all it's it's all a complete
- 1:20:56facade, exactly. It's it's it's a
- 1:20:58complete That's what the scam is.
- 1:21:01So, I said, "Listen." And they said,
- 1:21:03"Listen, the government says, 'We need a
- 1:21:05headline.
- 1:21:06We'll settle. And we'll even put in the
- 1:21:08settlement no finding of any wrongdoing,
- 1:21:12Mr. Trudeau, because you didn't do
- 1:21:13anything wrong." I said, "That's Okay,
- 1:21:15good. So, we'll settle, but we need a
- 1:21:17headline. We need to have a press
- 1:21:18conference and we have to win. You have
- 1:21:20to understand, we have to have a win." I
- 1:21:22got I'll give you the win. Put in there
- 1:21:24that um
- 1:21:26that there's um
- 1:21:28I'm banned from TV infomercials.
- 1:21:30They go, "What?" I go, "Yeah, I'll let
- 1:21:32you write up I'm banned from TV
- 1:21:33infomercials
- 1:21:35with the exception of First Amendment
- 1:21:37protected material like books."
- 1:21:39>> Mhm.
- 1:21:39>> And they go, "Well, that's all you're
- 1:21:40selling now anyway." I go, "Exactly."
- 1:21:42>> Yeah.
- 1:21:43>> So, I'm not banned, but you get the
- 1:21:45headline. And they go, "We love it."
- 1:21:48So, I'm I'm I'm now banned from
- 1:21:51infomercials, but I'm not. I'm doing
- 1:21:52exactly the same thing I always did with
- 1:21:54their agreement. I'm selling books.
- 1:21:56>> Mhm.
- 1:21:57>> I I'm in Ohio and I'm thinking, "You
- 1:21:59know, I'm tired of fighting with these
- 1:22:00people. Maybe I'll just retire."
- 1:22:03I said, "No, what I really should do is
- 1:22:05I should write a book exposing the
- 1:22:06corruption of the Federal Trade
- 1:22:08Commission and the FDA and the drug"
- 1:22:09That's what I really should do. Matter
- 1:22:11of fact, I should I should actually
- 1:22:13write a book with all the natural
- 1:22:14remedies.
- 1:22:15>> Yeah.
- 1:22:15>> And I should I should call it like
- 1:22:17natural cures that the government and
- 1:22:19the drug companies don't want you to
- 1:22:20know about.
- 1:22:21>> Yeah.
- 1:22:22>> I go, "That That'd be a little long."
- 1:22:25I go, "What if I wrote a book called
- 1:22:26natural They Don't Want You to Know
- 1:22:28About?"
- 1:22:28>> Mhm.
- 1:22:29>> And with three of my guys, and they go,
- 1:22:31"I don't think that'll sell."
- 1:22:33And I go,
- 1:22:34"No, that'll sell.
- 1:22:36That needs to be written." So, I sat
- 1:22:38down and wrote that book in 1 week.
- 1:22:40600 pages.
- 1:22:41>> Wow.
- 1:22:42>> I produced an infomercial, put it on the
- 1:22:44First, I went to all the publishers, and
- 1:22:45nobody would publish it. They said,
- 1:22:46"It's too thick, no one's going to read
- 1:22:48it, you're not a doctor, no one's going
- 1:22:49to listen to you. Plus, you've been
- 1:22:50crucified in the press as a snake oil
- 1:22:52salesman and a scammer, no one's going
- 1:22:53to buy it."
- 1:22:55I says, "Okay, well, that's fine. I'll
- 1:22:56publish it myself." So, I printed a
- 1:22:58million copies.
- 1:22:59>> No way.
- 1:22:59>> Wrote the check, put it on the floor.
- 1:23:01>> You printed a million copies?
- 1:23:02>> Printed a million copies, put it on the
- 1:23:04warehouse floor. I had the money, so I
- 1:23:06printed a million copies, and I put the
- 1:23:08infomercial up.
- 1:23:09The infomercial did a five ratio.
- 1:23:11>> Wow.
- 1:23:12>> Now, that's ROAS in today's marketing
- 1:23:14things. But not only that, but I also
- 1:23:16started the website naturalcures.com,
- 1:23:19and you could go there and sign up for a
- 1:23:21newsletter at 25 bucks a month, or it
- 1:23:23was 18 bucks a month back then.
- 1:23:25So, I I had a back end as well with
- 1:23:27continuity is what we call it.
- 1:23:30So, I I sold the books. The book sold 50
- 1:23:33million copies. It was number one on the
- 1:23:36New York Times best-seller list 26 weeks
- 1:23:39in a row.
- 1:23:40It was the best-selling book in all of
- 1:23:42America the year it came out. The point
- 1:23:43being is,
- 1:23:45it only came out
- 1:23:47because of the lawsuit I got from the
- 1:23:49Federal Trade Commission and the
- 1:23:50settlement.
- 1:23:51>> Mhm.
- 1:23:52>> Out of every adversity is the seed of a
- 1:23:55greater benefit. It was only because of
- 1:23:57that that I came up with that with that
- 1:24:00book.
- 1:24:01>> Wow. And then fast forward years later,
- 1:24:03you would end up serving a little bit of
- 1:24:05time.
- 1:24:05>> Mhm.
- 1:24:06>> Can you talk a little bit about that
- 1:24:07experience? A, how it came about, B, the
- 1:24:10day you went in, and then C, what that
- 1:24:11experience was like for you coming out?
- 1:24:13>> Yeah, this You know, this is the most
- 1:24:14amazing thing because, you know, the
- 1:24:16the internet
- 1:24:18is, as we know, is not accurate. You You
- 1:24:21you punch into chat GPT, ask chat GPT a
- 1:24:24question about the Bible and a verse and
- 1:24:26it gave me a like two verses and I said,
- 1:24:28"You're wrong. This is the verse." And
- 1:24:31it says, "Good catch."
- 1:24:33>> Whoops, my bad. Yeah.
- 1:24:34>> Good catch. I go, "You're the AI. You're
- 1:24:36supposed to give me the accurate
- 1:24:37information. You're just making stuff
- 1:24:39up."
- 1:24:39>> Yeah.
- 1:24:40>> It does that all the time and Wikipedia,
- 1:24:42as we know, is full of misinformation.
- 1:24:45>> Right.
- 1:24:46>> the stuff that that's on there that is
- 1:24:47just categorically not accurate.
- 1:24:50So,
- 1:24:52people say, "Well, he been he been The
- 1:24:53guy says, "You've been scamming people."
- 1:24:55I go, "Who?
- 1:24:56>> Mhm.
- 1:24:57>> What product?" Well, I read someplace
- 1:24:58that you were a scammer. I go, "I know,
- 1:25:01dude. What? What did I scam? Did I sell
- 1:25:03oil wells that didn't exist? No. I sold
- 1:25:06a book called Natural Cures They Don't
- 1:25:08Want You to Know About. It exposed the
- 1:25:10government corruption, the
- 1:25:11pharmaceutical corruption, and the media
- 1:25:13corruption, and how they collude
- 1:25:14together to hide non-drug and
- 1:25:17non-surgical ways to cure and prevent
- 1:25:18disease. I did a podcast earlier
- 1:25:20yesterday and the woman said, I said,
- 1:25:22"You know, everything I said in that
- 1:25:24book 20 years ago has been proven to be
- 1:25:25true." She goes, "Let me find out." So,
- 1:25:27she goes on the internet, she asks chat
- 1:25:28GPT and she goes, "Yeah, you talked
- 1:25:31about talcum powder, you talked about
- 1:25:33fluoride in the water, you talked about
- 1:25:34rebounding." All these things that you
- 1:25:36said have now scientifically been proven
- 1:25:38to be true. She goes, "There's 28
- 1:25:40things." And it continues to list them.
- 1:25:42I go, "Of course."
- 1:25:44But back then, that really shook up the
- 1:25:46pharmaceutical industry, that book
- 1:25:48Natural Cures. So, I was never sued for
- 1:25:50fraud. I was never sued for
- 1:25:52ripping anybody off. People
- 1:25:55completely misinterpret. That's not what
- 1:25:56I was sued for. I was sued for contempt
- 1:25:59of court.
- 1:26:01>> Mhm.
- 1:26:01>> And what was I in contempt of? The
- 1:26:03government told me to stop talking about
- 1:26:05my books on TV.
- 1:26:07I said, "No.
- 1:26:09I have a First Amendment constitutional
- 1:26:11right to talk about my First Amendment
- 1:26:14constitutionally protected books.
- 1:26:16>> Mhm.
- 1:26:17>> I have a right to express my opinion
- 1:26:19and I have a right under the
- 1:26:21Constitution to talk about books. This
- 1:26:23is not Nazi Germany.
- 1:26:25>> Mhm.
- 1:26:25>> We can't burn books here.
- 1:26:27>> Mhm.
- 1:26:27>> I have a right to talk about them. You
- 1:26:29cannot stifle free speech even if you
- 1:26:31don't like my opinion.
- 1:26:32>> Mhm.
- 1:26:33>> Just because I am attacking you, the
- 1:26:34government, and I'm exposing your
- 1:26:36corruption, and you don't like what I'm
- 1:26:38saying, and I'm attacking the drug
- 1:26:40companies who are the number one
- 1:26:41lobbyists in Washington, and I'm
- 1:26:43attacking the media,
- 1:26:45it doesn't mean you have you have the
- 1:26:47right to silence me.
- 1:26:48>> Mhm.
- 1:26:49>> Well, President Gorbachev from the
- 1:26:51Soviet Union when I was traveling with
- 1:26:52him
- 1:26:52>> Mikhail, yeah.
- 1:26:53>> Yeah, he said, "You know, be careful
- 1:26:54with the US courts because it's not what
- 1:26:56the law says, it's what the judge says
- 1:26:58that matters."
- 1:26:59>> Fair point.
- 1:27:00>> "Because you may have a trouble you may
- 1:27:01have some trouble, you know, about this
- 1:27:02book Natural Cures." And I said, "You
- 1:27:04think so?" He goes, "I think so."
- 1:27:06He was right.
- 1:27:07>> And one quick question I have for you
- 1:27:09is, you know, you seem to have a pattern
- 1:27:11over the years of being able to
- 1:27:13um I don't know a way to put it, but um
- 1:27:15acquire or um
- 1:27:16build expertise rather quickly, right?
- 1:27:19Um you go from being a young kid with no
- 1:27:20experience to direct response. Then you
- 1:27:21get in the car business. Then you get in
- 1:27:23the memory business. Then you get in the
- 1:27:25infomercial space. And you seem to just
- 1:27:27kind of whereas most people struggle for
- 1:27:295 6 7 years, it seems like every 2 3
- 1:27:31years you were up-leveling the
- 1:27:32opportunity.
- 1:27:34Um what is it that you were doing
- 1:27:36internally to be able to do that? You
- 1:27:38know, I know you talk about the theta,
- 1:27:39right? You talk about the theta brain
- 1:27:41state, but what is it internally you're
- 1:27:43doing to continually create ascension
- 1:27:45and abundance habitually seemingly
- 1:27:48rather quickly compared to most people.
- 1:27:50What's the secret there?
- 1:27:51>> interesting cuz I've been interviewed by
- 1:27:53vast numbers of people around the world.
- 1:27:56Radio hosts, TV hosts, newspapers,
- 1:27:58magazines, Fortune magazine, whatever,
- 1:28:00podcast now.
- 1:28:01No one's ever asked me that question. No
- 1:28:03one's been astute enough to just say
- 1:28:04what you just said.
- 1:28:06>> Mhm.
- 1:28:06>> And that is
- 1:28:07I
- 1:28:08>> Thank you.
- 1:28:09>> grab this information very quickly. No
- 1:28:11one's been really astute enough to
- 1:28:13observe that.
- 1:28:14>> Mhm.
- 1:28:14>> There was a TV series years ago called
- 1:28:17The Pretender. Are you familiar with
- 1:28:19that?
- 1:28:19>> Mhm. No.
- 1:28:20>> The Pretender was a story, the quote
- 1:28:24>> Mhm.
- 1:28:25>> fictionalized story of a guy named Jarod
- 1:28:27who as a young boy in 1963
- 1:28:30was taken into an organization called
- 1:28:33The Center because this boy had
- 1:28:34abilities
- 1:28:35>> Mhm.
- 1:28:36>> to see energy and move energy and see
- 1:28:39the future and so forth. And he had the
- 1:28:41ability so well established that he
- 1:28:43could become anyone.
- 1:28:45>> Mhm.
- 1:28:45>> He could virtually download, if you
- 1:28:47will, that's the new term today,
- 1:28:49everything from that person's mind. He
- 1:28:51could read books very quickly and absorb
- 1:28:54all the information. He could look at a
- 1:28:56person and virtually morph into them and
- 1:28:59therefore absorb all that knowledge and
- 1:29:01become an expert on something incredibly
- 1:29:03quickly. This is loosely based on my
- 1:29:06story.
- 1:29:07>> Wow.
- 1:29:07>> That series called The Pretender.
- 1:29:09Because one of my abilities was to morph
- 1:29:11into other people and
- 1:29:14quickly grasp all that data.
- 1:29:17>> Mhm.
- 1:29:17>> Whether it's shooting pool, one of my
- 1:29:19best friends is Mike Siegel, the 10-time
- 1:29:21world champion pool player.
- 1:29:23I'm terrible playing pool. All of a
- 1:29:25sudden I meet Mike, we hit it off and
- 1:29:27I'm going to morph into Mike.
- 1:29:29>> Mhm.
- 1:29:29>> And all of a sudden now I become Mike
- 1:29:31Siegel. I'm running out the table and
- 1:29:33I'm not
- 1:29:34>> Sharpening the little thing.
- 1:29:35>> Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, we go.
- 1:29:36Let's play. Or or playing the the the
- 1:29:39piano. I never took a lesson on piano in
- 1:29:41my life and I
- 1:29:42>> Mhm.
- 1:29:43>> All of a sudden watch somebody start
- 1:29:44morphing into them, start playing the
- 1:29:45piano or learning marketing or speaking.
- 1:29:48I'm Right now I think I'm a pretty good
- 1:29:50communicator.
- 1:29:50>> It's phenomenal.
- 1:29:51>> And remember, I stuttered. I couldn't be
- 1:29:54in a room with people. I needed to be by
- 1:29:57myself. I couldn't walk into a room, I'd
- 1:29:59have panic attacks. You know, anxiety
- 1:30:02attacks being in a room with other
- 1:30:03people because heaven forbid someone was
- 1:30:05going to talk to me. And then I'd have
- 1:30:07to actually talk back.
- 1:30:09I mean, this was a big challenge. So,
- 1:30:11being able to change that is something
- 1:30:13that everyone can get better at.
- 1:30:17People always ask me, can people
- 1:30:20really get to a high level of expertise
- 1:30:22in, whether it's marketing or sales or
- 1:30:24making money or manifesting or any of
- 1:30:26these things? And the answer is, no, not
- 1:30:29everyone can get to a high level of
- 1:30:30expertise, but everyone can get
- 1:30:33infinitely better.
- 1:30:35You take 10 people who have never played
- 1:30:38the piano in their life,
- 1:30:40and they all start taking lessons the
- 1:30:42same day.
- 1:30:43>> Mhm.
- 1:30:43>> And they all practice for the same
- 1:30:45amount of time every day. At the end of
- 1:30:46the year,
- 1:30:47there's going to be one person in that
- 1:30:48group who's going to be way better
- 1:30:51than everybody else. And there's going
- 1:30:52to be one person who's going to be the
- 1:30:54worst out of that group.
- 1:30:56But all of them are going to be
- 1:30:57infinitely better than when they
- 1:30:58started, right?
- 1:31:00>> Mhm.
- 1:31:01>> Same thing in in life. If it's making
- 1:31:03money, if it's running a business, if
- 1:31:05it's being a public speaker, if it's
- 1:31:06being a marketing person, writing ad
- 1:31:08copy, if it's being in a relationship,
- 1:31:11if it's being a communicator, anything
- 1:31:13at all, you can get much, much better
- 1:31:16than you are right now.
- 1:31:19Success, as Zig Ziglar said, is not what
- 1:31:22you've done compared to what others have
- 1:31:23done. It's what you've done compared to
- 1:31:25what you could have done. So, you have
- 1:31:27to really just compare yourself against
- 1:31:28yourself.
- 1:31:29>> And in terms of the theta state, um, can
- 1:31:32you talk a little bit about that and
- 1:31:33your philosophy about how important that
- 1:31:34is to achieve it?
- 1:31:35>> Yeah, so,
- 1:31:36if we look at the brain, brain vibrates
- 1:31:38at different frequencies. Scientists
- 1:31:39have put it into five categories, which
- 1:31:41is really not true. There's There's
- 1:31:42trillions of frequencies, cuz if you
- 1:31:44break down every frequency increases
- 1:31:46trillions of them. But, we take a big
- 1:31:48band of them and call it, this is going
- 1:31:49to be gamma. This is going to be beta.
- 1:31:52This is going to be theta. This is going
- 1:31:54to be alpha, and this is going to be
- 1:31:56delta. So, we put them into five
- 1:31:57categories, but each one of those bands
- 1:31:59is pretty wide.
- 1:32:00Beta, when you're broadcasting on beta,
- 1:32:02you can call that the slave wave
- 1:32:05or the or the poverty wave. Because if
- 1:32:07you're broadcasting in beta, you're
- 1:32:08going to be miserable. You're not going
- 1:32:09to be able to manifest anything because
- 1:32:11your brain is a broadcaster and receiver
- 1:32:13frequency. And if you're broadcasting
- 1:32:15your thought of what you want on beta,
- 1:32:17it doesn't affect anything in the
- 1:32:19physical universe.
- 1:32:21Nor does it affect anybody else's brain
- 1:32:23in a major way.
- 1:32:25If you're broadcasting on alpha or
- 1:32:27theta, it's going to have a much better
- 1:32:29impact on the physical universe and
- 1:32:31other people's brain. The sweet spot is
- 1:32:34right in between
- 1:32:36theta and alpha. So, right out there's
- 1:32:40alpha then then theta. So, it's right at
- 1:32:42the bottom end of the of alpha and at
- 1:32:44the top end of theta. That bandwidth,
- 1:32:48that combination bandwidth, you're if
- 1:32:50you're in that range, that's when
- 1:32:53virtually molecules in the universe will
- 1:32:55vibrate when you put out a thought
- 1:32:57>> Mhm.
- 1:32:58>> in the biggest way. You actually create
- 1:32:59heat.
- 1:33:00>> Mhm.
- 1:33:00>> I mean, you can create heat.
- 1:33:02>> Mhm.
- 1:33:02>> Somebody actually saw me do this. I
- 1:33:04never show abilities. I did and but
- 1:33:07somebody saw me do this. I was at my
- 1:33:08house. We were outside. It was cold. It
- 1:33:10was rainy. It was in the winter uh in
- 1:33:12Chicago. And I had all this wood in my
- 1:33:14fire pit. It was kind of moist. And it
- 1:33:17was kind of misty.
- 1:33:19And I didn't want to like look for fire
- 1:33:22starters or lighter fluid or newspapers
- 1:33:25or whatever or try to get some some
- 1:33:27wood. So, I just said, "Well, I'll just
- 1:33:29start the fire." So, I took a I took a
- 1:33:30match. And the guy was right there
- 1:33:32watching me. He was He was walking
- 1:33:33walking uh he actually was coming out of
- 1:33:35the house and and just opened the door
- 1:33:37and I just threw the match and and I
- 1:33:39just did this and the son of a gun went
- 1:33:41poof.
- 1:33:42And he said, "WHAT DID I JUST SEE?" AND
- 1:33:44I SAID, "You didn't see anything."
- 1:33:48>> That's incredible.
- 1:33:49>> Yeah, he said, "You're a witch. You're a
- 1:33:50witch."
- 1:33:51>> So, so what do you do to cultivate that?
- 1:33:53Do you you talk about it being a little
- 1:33:54bit of a meditative state? Is it Do you
- 1:33:55consciously meditate every day? What
- 1:33:56advice do you have for people on a
- 1:33:58practical level
- 1:34:00to implement some of these things to to
- 1:34:02improve that?
- 1:34:03>> things and every person is different.
- 1:34:04When I was in the brotherhood trained,
- 1:34:06everybody was given training based on
- 1:34:09what the issue was with them. So, today
- 1:34:11you may have major amounts of nano
- 1:34:13plastics in your brain screwing up your
- 1:34:15ability to get into that state. You
- 1:34:17could have all types of allergic
- 1:34:19reactions from the the dyes, the red
- 1:34:21dyes, or maybe even the dyes in the
- 1:34:23salmon you're eating you think is
- 1:34:24healthy for you. They ingest it with
- 1:34:26synthetic dye. It could be the dyes that
- 1:34:28are in or the or the fragrances that
- 1:34:31you're smelling.
- 1:34:32These fragrances are deadly poison. You
- 1:34:35get trash can liners, right? For your
- 1:34:37trash can and it smells of full you know
- 1:34:40full off you know what some you know It
- 1:34:42it it's poison to your brain. So, you
- 1:34:45could have some
- 1:34:46a neurological issues preventing you
- 1:34:49which means you have to
- 1:34:51clear them out. You have to cleanse them
- 1:34:53or detox them from your brain. So, today
- 1:34:56I think one of the most important things
- 1:34:57a person can do to be able to increase
- 1:34:59concentration and focus and the ability
- 1:35:01to broadcast a thought on a narrow beam
- 1:35:04which will help manifest it into the
- 1:35:06universe is to clear out the toxins in
- 1:35:08the brain. And there's a couple things
- 1:35:10out there. There's masterpiece.org
- 1:35:13which it has a little it's sea water
- 1:35:15with some zeolite in it which is
- 1:35:17excellent pretty cheap. Much more
- 1:35:19expensive is the Pampa program chelation
- 1:35:22uh
- 1:35:23oral chelation and there's other things
- 1:35:24you can do. Zeolite's always a a good
- 1:35:27one. Chlorella helps pull mercury out
- 1:35:29and heavy metals and nano plastics. So,
- 1:35:31there's some things to get to get rid of
- 1:35:33it. That's like number one, right?
- 1:35:35Number two is sleep.
- 1:35:37When you go to sleep your body needs to
- 1:35:38release melat melatonin, but today
- 1:35:40people have the hardest time sleeping.
- 1:35:42That's why these sleep aids are off the
- 1:35:44charts in terms of supplements. So,
- 1:35:46there's a couple reasons why you're
- 1:35:47having a hard time sleeping. Number one,
- 1:35:48you're plugging your phone by your bed.
- 1:35:50So, plug in your phone, but ideally shut
- 1:35:52the phone off and then plug it in the
- 1:35:54next room. That's ideal, but never by
- 1:35:56your bed. If it's in your bedroom,
- 1:35:57that's
- 1:35:58not as good, but it's better than by
- 1:36:01your bed stand. If you shut it off,
- 1:36:02that's better, but it's still vibrating.
- 1:36:04But ideally get it out of the room. You
- 1:36:06have no idea the effect that's having on
- 1:36:08your brain and your ability for your
- 1:36:09body to release melatonin and get into
- 1:36:11full sleep the way it it it it allows
- 1:36:14the brain to heal.
- 1:36:16Next,
- 1:36:18lights. In everyone's room, there's a
- 1:36:20blue light. There's a red light. There's
- 1:36:22the light for the
- 1:36:24all over the place. There's like
- 1:36:26lights. This prevents you especially
- 1:36:29blue and red. It prevents the body from
- 1:36:31releasing melatonin. You can't release
- 1:36:32human growth hormone between 10:00 p.m.
- 1:36:35and 2:00 a.m. because of the lights.
- 1:36:38Simple solution, get a silk black eye
- 1:36:41mask and put it on.
- 1:36:43Now you're in total darkness. Your
- 1:36:45body's going to release melatonin
- 1:36:47better. Next, oxygen.
- 1:36:50All of our homes are hermetically sealed
- 1:36:51for God's sakes. So, we're in this
- 1:36:53hermetically sealed room. We're getting
- 1:36:54no fresh air. This air is just
- 1:36:55recirculating. You're breathing all
- 1:36:57night long.
- 1:36:59You're throwing out carbon monoxide or
- 1:37:01is it carbon dioxide?
- 1:37:03Poison into the air. You have no plants
- 1:37:05that that are helping. And so, the
- 1:37:08amount of oxygen in the air all night
- 1:37:10long begins to go down and down and down
- 1:37:11and down and down and down. That affects
- 1:37:13your brain.
- 1:37:14Solution, what everyone everyone did 50
- 1:37:17years ago. Open the darn window. Sleep
- 1:37:19with the window open. Let the air fresh
- 1:37:21air in.
- 1:37:22And oh, it's cold. Good, get an extra
- 1:37:24blanket. I mean, it's better to be in
- 1:37:26the cold air against your face breathing
- 1:37:29oxygenated air. Your body is going to
- 1:37:32love it. You're going to sleep like a I
- 1:37:34mean, not a You're not going to sleep
- 1:37:36like a baby. You're going to sleep like
- 1:37:37a dog. I mean, you're going to be You're
- 1:37:40going to be out. And you're going to
- 1:37:41wake up completely refreshed. You do
- 1:37:43those three things. No cell phone. Shut
- 1:37:46it off and put it in a different room.
- 1:37:49Silk black eye mask and open the window
- 1:37:51so you have oxygen so the temperature
- 1:37:53gets much cooler.
- 1:37:55And your ability the next day to
- 1:37:58concentrate and focus is going to
- 1:38:00automatically go up dramatically.
- 1:38:02>> I love that. And I have a few last
- 1:38:04questions here before we wrap up. I
- 1:38:06wanted to ask um, you know, talking
- 1:38:08about you know, when the government came
- 1:38:09after you, you ended up serving, I
- 1:38:11believe you were sentenced to 10 years,
- 1:38:12ended up serving about eight.
- 1:38:14>> 10 years for the non-crime of contempt
- 1:38:17of court.
- 1:38:19>> How much time did you serve?
- 1:38:20>> Eight and a half years. There was no
- 1:38:21fine, no restitution, there was no
- 1:38:24customers ripped off or anything like
- 1:38:26that, no fraud, no deception. It was
- 1:38:29contempt of court because I didn't obey
- 1:38:30a court order.
- 1:38:32Which means I kept talking about my book
- 1:38:34on television. I was exercising my first
- 1:38:36amendment constitutional right. The case
- 1:38:39by the way is closed, the government has
- 1:38:41settled with no finding of wrongdoing.
- 1:38:43Thank you very much.
- 1:38:44>> That's awesome.
- 1:38:45>> Again, but that never gets reported. I
- 1:38:47did nothing wrong. I sold millions of
- 1:38:49books that people loved. I did zero
- 1:38:52wrong. I was charged with contempt of
- 1:38:55court. It was a political witch hunt,
- 1:38:57everybody knows it. Everybody knows they
- 1:38:59were trying to shut up a vocal critic of
- 1:39:01the government exposing the
- 1:39:03pharmaceutical corruption and how
- 1:39:06they're hiding the truth about non-drug
- 1:39:08and non-surgical cures to prevent
- 1:39:10disease.
- 1:39:12And over 28 things that I said in the
- 1:39:14original book to 20 years ago now have
- 1:39:16been proven to be 100% correct.
- 1:39:19>> Wow.
- 1:39:20>> I served eight and a half years without
- 1:39:22committing a crime and without getting
- 1:39:24any restitution or uh, fine.
- 1:39:26>> And what's the number one shift for
- 1:39:27Kevin Trudeau having that experience in
- 1:39:29getting out?
- 1:39:32>> There has been no change. When I went to
- 1:39:35prison,
- 1:39:37I looked at it like J.D. Rockefeller
- 1:39:39did. I've been given a gift. That was my
- 1:39:41feeling. Legitimate. I said, I've been
- 1:39:44given a gift. I've been given a
- 1:39:46blessing. There's a treasure in here.
- 1:39:48And when I went away, I thought
- 1:39:50this is the opportunity of a lifetime. I
- 1:39:52can do yoga every day. I can meditate
- 1:39:54every day. I can play bridge. I can
- 1:39:56really sharpen up my bridge game.
- 1:39:58>> Do you normally meditate every day?
- 1:39:59>> Yes. Yeah. So, I can I can do all types
- 1:40:02of things I didn't have time to do. I
- 1:40:03can write a course called the science of
- 1:40:05personal mastery course. I can write the
- 1:40:07Your Wishes Your Command book.
- 1:40:08>> Mhm.
- 1:40:09>> I can I can exercise like a fiend. I can
- 1:40:12do yoga exercises. I can learn German. I
- 1:40:15can learn learn Italian. I can play
- 1:40:17tennis. I can go for long walks. I can
- 1:40:19read great literature that I haven't
- 1:40:21read before. I can meet the most
- 1:40:22interesting people from a variety of
- 1:40:24things, whether they're the past
- 1:40:26president of a country or Jesse Jackson
- 1:40:29Jr. or Jeff Skilling from Enron or this
- 1:40:32billionaire or that billionaire. Or I
- 1:40:34can meet this guy here who's an arch
- 1:40:35criminal gangbanger uh who can't, you
- 1:40:38know,
- 1:40:39put together two sentences cuz his
- 1:40:41vocabulary's low. And I can become
- 1:40:43friends with him and learn about him and
- 1:40:45his culture and where he came from and
- 1:40:46the struggles he has in his community
- 1:40:48and his life and the fact that he has no
- 1:40:49education. And I can
- 1:40:51broaden my understanding of human beings
- 1:40:55and still have the same love and
- 1:40:57compassion for everyone regardless of
- 1:41:00race, religion, education level, of what
- 1:41:03they did wrong or what they didn't do.
- 1:41:05It was a beautiful beautiful blessing
- 1:41:07and experience that that that I had
- 1:41:10that I've been blessed with.
- 1:41:11>> That's awesome. Was it a humbling
- 1:41:13experience in the sense of going from
- 1:41:15making hundreds of millions of dollars,
- 1:41:16billions of dollars in the business
- 1:41:18to then kind of being stripped away of
- 1:41:20that temporarily?
- 1:41:21>> For me, no. And I'll tell you the reason
- 1:41:22why. Because I like to go fishing up in
- 1:41:24Canada for walleye. And when we go
- 1:41:26fishing up in Canada, we sometimes be in
- 1:41:27a tent. We'd be in a little tiny hut
- 1:41:29with no electricity. You know, have
- 1:41:31kerosene lamps or whatever.
- 1:41:33And we loved it. You know, we're in a
- 1:41:35sleeping bag.
- 1:41:36>> Yeah.
- 1:41:37>> Okay, well, this is poverty.
- 1:41:39You could call that living in poverty.
- 1:41:41>> Mhm.
- 1:41:41>> And I pay to live in poverty, right?
- 1:41:44>> Yeah.
- 1:41:44>> And I live in poverty and have to cook
- 1:41:46my own crappy meals and crappy stuff.
- 1:41:48And I don't think, oh, I'm very humbled
- 1:41:49to be here. I'm going, I love this. This
- 1:41:52is so cool, man.
- 1:41:53>> Finding the joy.
- 1:41:54>> We we got to go to the toilet in a hole
- 1:41:55out there in the woods in the rain. I
- 1:41:57mean, this is great, you know, we're
- 1:41:58roughing it, right? And we love it.
- 1:42:01We're not feeling humbled, we just love
- 1:42:02the experience.
- 1:42:04Whether I'm in a Ritz-Carlton Hotel or
- 1:42:06the Peninsula Hotel or whatever in the
- 1:42:08finest suite
- 1:42:10or whether I'm in a Holiday Inn or
- 1:42:12whether I'm in the backseat of a car
- 1:42:13because I'm just happen to be driving on
- 1:42:15a road trip and I have to sleep, to me
- 1:42:17it's all the same.
- 1:42:19It's just a different experience.
- 1:42:21>> No, beautifully put. And then I wanted
- 1:42:23to ask also about the 7-month uh I
- 1:42:25believe you did like a 7-month um
- 1:42:28>> cave
- 1:42:28>> cave. Can you talk a little bit about
- 1:42:30that and what you learned from that?
- 1:42:31>> When I talked to my uncle years ago,
- 1:42:34I said, you know, I'm I'm trying to Is
- 1:42:36there anything I can do to even take my
- 1:42:39abilities to the next level?
- 1:42:42They said, well, you're you're really
- 1:42:44there. You're anchored beyond the veil
- 1:42:47in the in the static in the oneness.
- 1:42:50You're at the top level of proficiency
- 1:42:53in using your abilities.
- 1:42:55But I think what you should do next
- 1:42:59is disconnect from the universe, from
- 1:43:01the world, and go into isolation.
- 1:43:05I said, well, what will it do for me? I
- 1:43:06go, they said, you'll find out.
- 1:43:08So, they set me up with going to the
- 1:43:10Himalayas into a cave.
- 1:43:12And it's set up. It wasn't you know,
- 1:43:14there there people this is what they do,
- 1:43:15right? You Some people go there for a
- 1:43:17weekend.
- 1:43:18>> Yeah.
- 1:43:18>> They said,
- 1:43:19you 7 months?
- 1:43:21Yeah, 7 months. Long time.
- 1:43:23>> Why seven?
- 1:43:25>> Yeah, seven's a magic number.
- 1:43:27>> Uh why is that?
- 1:43:27>> 733 Each number has a frequency and
- 1:43:30vibration. If you've ever talked to a
- 1:43:31numerologist numerologist, you know that
- 1:43:33there's frequencies of vibration. So,
- 1:43:34there's 12 There's seven, there's 33.
- 1:43:3812 is very powerful. There's 12 months
- 1:43:39of the year. Jesus had 12 apostles. Blah
- 1:43:42blah blah blah. There's, you know, 12
- 1:43:43hours in the cycle of a of a day.
- 1:43:46So, 12 is a number, seven is a number,
- 1:43:4833 is a number, 11 is also a number.
- 1:43:51So, we went for seven, better than 12.
- 1:43:53>> You're right.
- 1:43:54>> the lowest one. So, seven in the cave,
- 1:43:57no communication with any other human
- 1:43:59being, and I was told you're on your
- 1:44:02own.
- 1:44:02So, nobody can verify if it's true, but
- 1:44:04you can't speak.
- 1:44:06>> Wow.
- 1:44:06>> So, I'm by myself, so I can't talk to
- 1:44:08myself.
- 1:44:10I can't talk. I can only think. So, I
- 1:44:12cannot open my mouth. I can't utter
- 1:44:15sounds.
- 1:44:16Unless I had a cough, but I can't utter
- 1:44:18sounds. Can't hum, can't sing, can't
- 1:44:20speak. No No interaction with any human
- 1:44:24beings. Food was put down the trail uh
- 1:44:26every few days for me to eat. Uh and I,
- 1:44:29you know, bring back the trash and
- 1:44:32things, so they would get rid of it, but
- 1:44:33there was no connection or interaction
- 1:44:34with the you know, people. No books to
- 1:44:36read.
- 1:44:37Uh nothing whatsoever. And it was a
- 1:44:39clean cave, you know, kind of protected
- 1:44:40from snakes and spiders and lions,
- 1:44:43tigers, and bears type thing. So, it was
- 1:44:45Yeah, I felt safe.
- 1:44:47But, it was a cool experience for me
- 1:44:50because what it allows you to do is
- 1:44:54confront
- 1:44:56yourself.
- 1:44:57>> Mhm.
- 1:44:58>> Most people cannot
- 1:45:00be in silence.
- 1:45:02They cannot confront themselves. They
- 1:45:04want They don't want to look at
- 1:45:05themselves. They're afraid to look at
- 1:45:07themselves.
- 1:45:09Cuz they may not like what they see.
- 1:45:10>> Afraid to confront the truth.
- 1:45:11>> That's correct. You have to confront who
- 1:45:14you really are and see who you really
- 1:45:16are. And when you do, all your fears go
- 1:45:19away because
- 1:45:21it vanishes.
- 1:45:22Anything that you think is a problem, or
- 1:45:24I I so guilty about this I did this in
- 1:45:26the past. I don't want to look at that.
- 1:45:29When you look at it, you realize that
- 1:45:30it's
- 1:45:31a facade. It's a paper tiger.
- 1:45:34And it vanishes. Whatever you can
- 1:45:36confront, you can handle. And whatever
- 1:45:39you can confront fully, the charge on
- 1:45:42it, the energy, the electricity, the the
- 1:45:45energetic imprint just crumbles and
- 1:45:48vanishes into thin air, and you become
- 1:45:50free.
- 1:45:51>> Wow.
- 1:45:52>> So, the whole thing is becoming free.
- 1:45:54When you clear out of your field all
- 1:45:56these samskaras, as it says in the
- 1:45:58Sanskrit, which is an energetic imprint,
- 1:46:01that you put there yourself and created
- 1:46:05yourself, it doesn't exist. So, if you
- 1:46:07created something in your mind that's
- 1:46:09holding you back
- 1:46:11and giving you stress, anxiety, and
- 1:46:13guilt, and fear, and all these other
- 1:46:14negative emotions, but you created it
- 1:46:16and it doesn't exist. And when you
- 1:46:18actually look at it, it vanishes right
- 1:46:20before your eyes and it leaves you.
- 1:46:23The feeling of expansion,
- 1:46:26freedom, and liberation surpasses all
- 1:46:30human comprehension and surpasses words.
- 1:46:32You can't give it You can't even
- 1:46:33describe it.
- 1:46:35>> Yeah.
- 1:46:36Wow.
- 1:46:37The way you explain that is incredible,
- 1:46:38my man. And I want to ask you this, too.
- 1:46:41Um you know, a lot of people We told
- 1:46:42people to write in, and people had a
- 1:46:44funny silly question, but I'm curious
- 1:46:45just quick thoughts on it. How do you
- 1:46:47feel alcohol or marijuana, um your
- 1:46:50recreational drugs, affect the
- 1:46:51manifestation process, or do you feel
- 1:46:53they do something there?
- 1:46:53>> Oh, I
- 1:46:54I I I have a lot of things to say about
- 1:46:55this, and not my opinion. I can tell you
- 1:46:57what I know.
- 1:46:58Alcohol relaxes the muscles and relaxes
- 1:47:02the mind and gets processed by the
- 1:47:03liver.
- 1:47:04>> Mhm.
- 1:47:04>> Too much is poison.
- 1:47:06>> Mhm.
- 1:47:07>> By the way, what I just said is not
- 1:47:09disputable. It's It's It's indisputable.
- 1:47:11It's absolutely factual.
- 1:47:13So, I'll tell you a story about alcohol.
- 1:47:14So, I'm hiking up the mountain in in
- 1:47:16Germany. I'm hiking hiking up the Alps.
- 1:47:18And I'm hiking I got my poles, and I'm
- 1:47:19hiking. It's like a 3-hour hike straight
- 1:47:21up. And I got water, cuz you have to
- 1:47:23hydrate, so I'm drinking all my water
- 1:47:24all the way up and I run out of water.
- 1:47:26So, when I get to the top, there's a big
- 1:47:27restaurant up there cuz it's also a ski
- 1:47:29area. So, you you know, most people go
- 1:47:31up there and ski down, but in the
- 1:47:32summertime you hike up. So, I go out
- 1:47:34there and and on the patio it's a
- 1:47:35gorgeous gorgeous summer day. Tons of
- 1:47:37people are on the patio, all Germans
- 1:47:39mostly.
- 1:47:40Everybody's speaking German. So, I sit
- 1:47:42down and I go, "I want a big big bottle
- 1:47:44of water." And the waitress looks at me
- 1:47:47kind of funny.
- 1:47:48As if to say, "Water?" And I said,
- 1:47:51"Yeah." "Okay." She walks away. And I'm
- 1:47:54looking around at all the tables and
- 1:47:55everybody has this big huge glass with
- 1:47:58this brown light-colored liquid in it
- 1:48:01with this foam. It looks like beer, but
- 1:48:03it's this weird tall glass and it looks
- 1:48:06cloudy a little bit. So, she brings the
- 1:48:08water right over and I go, "What is
- 1:48:10everybody drinking?" She goes,
- 1:48:11"Weissbier."
- 1:48:13I go, "What's Weissbier?"
- 1:48:15Well, she goes, "That's white beer or
- 1:48:16wheat beer. It's made with wheat and
- 1:48:19that's what you should be drinking cuz
- 1:48:21you just hiked up the mountain." I go,
- 1:48:22"But that has alcohol in it. Alcohol's
- 1:48:24dehydrating." And she laughs, "You
- 1:48:26Americans."
- 1:48:28She says, "The alcohol is very small.
- 1:48:31It relaxes the muscle.
- 1:48:34The wheat beer has a low surface
- 1:48:36tension, which means it's more hydrating
- 1:48:39than water. And surface tension is if
- 1:48:41you take a piece of um
- 1:48:43let's say a brown paper bag and you take
- 1:48:45a bead, one little drop of water and you
- 1:48:47put it there and notice the bead just
- 1:48:49stays on top. It doesn't permeate.
- 1:48:52The surface tension isn't isn't correct.
- 1:48:55If you take some carrot juice
- 1:48:57and take one one little bead of carrot
- 1:48:59juice, it goes right in, boom, because
- 1:49:01it's the clusters of molecules are
- 1:49:03smaller and flatter. It has a lower
- 1:49:05surface tension, which means it's
- 1:49:06wetter.
- 1:49:08The beer is wetter than water. Wow. She
- 1:49:10goes, "Also, the beer has carbohydrates
- 1:49:13and minerals because it's wheat beer.
- 1:49:15So, it's not only going to hydrate you
- 1:49:17better,
- 1:49:18the slight amount of alcohol is not
- 1:49:20going to dehydrate you cuz you have
- 1:49:22you're drinking this much fluid.
- 1:49:23It's going to relax the muscles, so
- 1:49:25allowing the hydration to get into the
- 1:49:27muscle so you don't develop lactic acid
- 1:49:29or have any cramps. And then you have
- 1:49:31all the minerals, including calcium and
- 1:49:33magnesium, which you need after you hike
- 1:49:35up. This is what you should be drinking,
- 1:49:37like everybody else, she says. And I go,
- 1:49:39give me one. I drank it down. I'm like,
- 1:49:41"Oh my god, I feel like Superman."
- 1:49:45>> Yeah.
- 1:49:45>> I couldn't believe how good I felt. So,
- 1:49:47the bottom line is alcohol in small
- 1:49:49amounts and in moderation is perfectly
- 1:49:51fine. Then I bring this monk to live
- 1:49:53with me, Shi Yan Ming. He's the He was
- 1:49:57the lead monk at the Shaolin Temple in
- 1:49:59China, kung fu master.
- 1:50:02For the first time in history, the real
- 1:50:04monks who lived in the temple were
- 1:50:06allowed to leave and travel the world
- 1:50:08showing the world their kung fu mastery.
- 1:50:10He was like, you know, Kwai Chang Caine
- 1:50:12in the TV show Kung Fu.
- 1:50:15The stuff they did is, I mean, spooky.
- 1:50:18Like you put a spear into his throat,
- 1:50:20you push it, and the spear bends and
- 1:50:22breaks. It doesn't permeate his throat
- 1:50:24cuz his chi energy is so strong. So, I
- 1:50:26see this guy, and I'm amazed. I go see
- 1:50:29and watch the monks. I've trained in
- 1:50:31Shaolin martial arts for a long time.
- 1:50:33And then I hear he defects.
- 1:50:35>> Mhm.
- 1:50:36>> And he actually wins his asylum, and
- 1:50:38he's in New York. So, I track him down,
- 1:50:40and I go, "I need you to come live with
- 1:50:41me and teach me, train me." So, he comes
- 1:50:44to comes to uh California. He lived with
- 1:50:46me for a while.
- 1:50:47>> So, you just paid him to live with you
- 1:50:48and teach you kung
- 1:50:49>> I paid him. I paid his expenses and
- 1:50:50everything. So, he lived with me, we're
- 1:50:51going to train. And I had Grandmaster
- 1:50:53Tai, who was my my trainer, come with me
- 1:50:55cuz he talked
- 1:50:56spoke Mandarin. That way he could talk
- 1:50:58to him because his English wasn't so
- 1:51:00good.
- 1:51:01So, we're training, and I says, "What do
- 1:51:04you like to you know, eat?" "Oh, I eat
- 1:51:06anything." I go, "No, you're a Buddhist
- 1:51:08monk. You're a vegetarian, aren't you?"
- 1:51:10"No, no, no. Yeah, I Buddhist monk.
- 1:51:12Yeah, yeah, Chan Buddhist, but I eat
- 1:51:14anything, anything.
- 1:51:15>> Mhm.
- 1:51:15>> I go, "No, no, you're vegetarian. A
- 1:51:17Buddhist monks are vegetarian. Maybe
- 1:51:18there's a a
- 1:51:20issue with the translation." He goes,
- 1:51:21"No, I eat anything."
- 1:51:23I go, "Okay." So, we go out to I go,
- 1:51:25"What do you like to eat?" He goes, "I'm
- 1:51:26a Chinese. I like a Chinese food."
- 1:51:28>> Mhm.
- 1:51:30>> We go to a Chinese restaurant. They're
- 1:51:32all like bowing down to him because
- 1:51:33he's, you know, oh, you know, master.
- 1:51:36So, I go, "What do you want?" He goes,
- 1:51:37"I want a steam a vegetable, uh
- 1:51:39vegetable fried rice, and uh and uh
- 1:51:42vegetable noodle soup."
- 1:51:43>> Mhm.
- 1:51:44>> Okay. Sounds like a lot of vegetables.
- 1:51:45Sounds like vegetarian to me. So, we eat
- 1:51:47the food. The next day, the next day,
- 1:51:49the next day, the next day, everything
- 1:51:50he orders, vegetables, fried rice,
- 1:51:52vegetables, vegetable noodle soup,
- 1:51:55vegetables, more vegetables, more
- 1:51:57vegetables, fruit, vegetables, fruits.
- 1:51:59That's all he's eating. All vegetarian.
- 1:52:01So, I says, "Shi Fu,
- 1:52:03you lied to me. You told me uh that
- 1:52:05you're not a vegetarian, but all you eat
- 1:52:07is vegetables."
- 1:52:08>> Mhm.
- 1:52:09>> He looks at me and he goes,
- 1:52:10"I like vegetables."
- 1:52:13I go,
- 1:52:14"But wait a minute. Would you eat meat?"
- 1:52:16"I no order meat. I don't like meat, but
- 1:52:18if you serve me meat, I eat anything. I
- 1:52:21have no restrictions."
- 1:52:22>> Mhm.
- 1:52:23>> What a beautiful way to live, right?
- 1:52:25>> Right.
- 1:52:26>> "I'm free," he says. "I'm free."
- 1:52:27>> He's not living any kind of identity.
- 1:52:29>> That's correct. I go, "If I made you a
- 1:52:30steak right now, you would you eat it?"
- 1:52:31"Yes, because you give it to me out of
- 1:52:33love. Of course, I eat it. I no order
- 1:52:36steak. I I like vegetable."
- 1:52:40But what a beautiful understanding of,
- 1:52:41you know, no no attachment, right?
- 1:52:44>> Mhm.
- 1:52:45>> But I says, "What do you like to drink?"
- 1:52:46He goes, "Oh, I like a special water." I
- 1:52:48go, "What special water?" "Corona beer."
- 1:52:53>> Corona beer.
- 1:52:53>> And he goes, I goes, "Do you like
- 1:52:55anything else?" He goes, "Oh, and also
- 1:52:57very, very special water, champagne."
- 1:53:01>> That's incredible.
- 1:53:01>> And I go, "What?" So, we train
- 1:53:03>> Uh-huh.
- 1:53:04>> 2 and 1/2 hours in the morning, 2 and
- 1:53:061/2 hours in the afternoon, 2 and 1/2
- 1:53:07hours at night. I mean, this guy's
- 1:53:09killing me, right? I mean, we're just
- 1:53:11kicking it. Out of after every training,
- 1:53:14he drinks three Corona beers.
- 1:53:16>> Wow.
- 1:53:16>> And I said
- 1:53:18and I remembered the, you know, when I
- 1:53:20was hiking. I got And I But I asked him,
- 1:53:21"Why you drinking?" He goes, "Because it
- 1:53:23relax the mind, relax the muscle."
- 1:53:25>> Wow.
- 1:53:25>> He goes, "Uh we just generate a lot of
- 1:53:26lactic acid. We need to feed the muscle.
- 1:53:29You can't drink just water, no good.
- 1:53:31Because that basically leacha leach all
- 1:53:33the mineral out and no good for you. You
- 1:53:35have to
- 1:53:36give your body what it needs." He goes,
- 1:53:38"Throughout history, throughout history,
- 1:53:40we drink a wine, we drink a uh
- 1:53:43beer because low surface tension,
- 1:53:45hydrate very well. Low alcohol content,
- 1:53:47not the new beer with a lot of alcohol.
- 1:53:49The the the low alcohol content."
- 1:53:52>> Yeah.
- 1:53:52>> So, the point is that that that's fine.
- 1:53:54If you're an alcoholic and drinking a
- 1:53:56half a bottle of scotch every night,
- 1:53:58>> yeah, it's not going to help.
- 1:54:00Marijuana. Marijuana, okay, everyone's
- 1:54:02going to hate me about this.
- 1:54:05Marijuana was different than alcohol.
- 1:54:07>> Mhm.
- 1:54:08>> When you drink alcohol, the liver
- 1:54:09processes it, it's gone.
- 1:54:11>> Mhm.
- 1:54:11>> When you smoke a joint,
- 1:54:14a percentage of the drug stays in the
- 1:54:17fatty tissue in your body.
- 1:54:20The majority of the fat in your body is
- 1:54:22your brain.
- 1:54:23>> Mhm.
- 1:54:24>> Which means in your brain, all the fatty
- 1:54:25tissues have a residual amount of that
- 1:54:28drug.
- 1:54:29The next joint you smoke,
- 1:54:31they still call it joints? I guess.
- 1:54:32Okay.
- 1:54:33>> They call it everything, yeah.
- 1:54:34>> Yeah, whatever you want, right? That
- 1:54:35blunt or whatever, I don't The next
- 1:54:37marijuana cigarette you smoke,
- 1:54:39it adds to what you previously smoked.
- 1:54:42You do that for 2 or 3 years, you have a
- 1:54:45huge build-up of the drug in the fatty
- 1:54:47tissue in your brain. Your brain is
- 1:54:50operating slower.
- 1:54:53You cannot get into alpha theta,
- 1:54:55maintain it, you can't concentrate, the
- 1:54:58synapses don't work as well, they're all
- 1:55:00corroded, you cannot function properly.
- 1:55:04The longer you do this, the worse it
- 1:55:06gets. You think it's okay because it's
- 1:55:08like graying hair. You don't notice the
- 1:55:11change. Or the person who who who starts
- 1:55:13gaining weight, "Oh, I gained a quarter
- 1:55:15of a pound today, a quarter of a pound
- 1:55:17next week, a half a pound the week
- 1:55:18after." You don't notice the incremental
- 1:55:20changes because it's happening so slow.
- 1:55:23You don't notice the cognitive decline
- 1:55:26the more you smoke.
- 1:55:29All the psilocybin,
- 1:55:31the magic mushrooms, LSD,
- 1:55:34peyote,
- 1:55:36ecstasy, they are the same. They're in
- 1:55:38the fatty tissue. Now, how do we know
- 1:55:39this? Scientists prove that when they
- 1:55:42take the fatty tissue out and biopsy,
- 1:55:44it's there. They can see it. And there's
- 1:55:47a simple way to prove it as well. All
- 1:55:49you have to do is go into a sauna, take
- 1:55:51some niacin, go into a sauna for a
- 1:55:52couple hours, 20 minutes at a time, give
- 1:55:55yourself a 5-minute break in between.
- 1:55:57And all of a sudden, you will start
- 1:55:58having flashbacks. If you did LSD,
- 1:56:01you'll have a flashback of LSD. If you
- 1:56:02did cocaine, you'll feel it on your lips
- 1:56:04where you rubbed the cocaine on your
- 1:56:06upper lip when you used to snort cocaine
- 1:56:08or you feel it in your nose. If you
- 1:56:10smoked uh marijuana, you'll start
- 1:56:12feeling high. And
- 1:56:14the room will reek of marijuana.
- 1:56:17>> Wow.
- 1:56:18>> "Oh, I haven't smoked marijuana in 5
- 1:56:19years." Good, go into that sauna and
- 1:56:21guess in in 1 hour, that sauna is going
- 1:56:23to reek of marijuana because it's still
- 1:56:26in your system. And that happens 100% of
- 1:56:29the time. When the perspiration is then
- 1:56:31analyzed, we we can tell you exactly all
- 1:56:34the drugs you took.
- 1:56:35>> Mhm.
- 1:56:35>> So, somebody says, "No, no, I'm
- 1:56:37drug-free." Get into the sauna.
- 1:56:39>> Mhm.
- 1:56:39>> Okay? And we'll tell you how drug-free
- 1:56:40you are. We're not even going to take a
- 1:56:42urine test because that's only active
- 1:56:44drug. We want to find out what is in the
- 1:56:46fatty tissue. And not only can we find
- 1:56:48the marijuana or the LSD or the
- 1:56:51psilocybin or the cocaine or the heroin,
- 1:56:54but we can also find the pharmaceutical
- 1:56:56drugs you've been popping.
- 1:56:57>> Mhm.
- 1:56:58>> Cuz it's in the perspiration, cuz it's
- 1:57:00in the fatty uh cell. This is why the
- 1:57:03more drugs you take, you kind of blow it
- 1:57:05up, because the body is actually
- 1:57:06retaining water to dilute all the toxic
- 1:57:09poison chemicals from the drugs you've
- 1:57:11taken, so you don't die.
- 1:57:13>> Wow.
- 1:57:13>> That's why you get blowdy.
- 1:57:14>> Wow. Has Kevin Trudeau ever tried
- 1:57:16marijuana?
- 1:57:17>> One time when I was a kid, I smoked
- 1:57:20marijuana.
- 1:57:21>> But I didn't inhale.
- 1:57:21>> I I tried to inhale, and I coughed like
- 1:57:25a crazy person and said, "I tried to
- 1:57:27smoke a cigarette. I mean, I tried to
- 1:57:29smoke packs of cigarettes, and I'm
- 1:57:30trying to inhale, and I can't." So, I
- 1:57:33said, "I Listen, I want to enjoy, you
- 1:57:35know, this this tobacco thing. What can
- 1:57:38I do?" So, I kind of gave up. And then I
- 1:57:40went to see W. Clement Stone.
- 1:57:42>> Mhm.
- 1:57:42>> Um he was the billionaire from Combined
- 1:57:44Insurance, co-wrote the book with
- 1:57:45Napoleon Hill, Success Through a
- 1:57:47Positive Mental Attitude, in Northbrook,
- 1:57:49Illinois. Bowtie, pencil mustache,
- 1:57:52slicked-back hair. Looked like he was
- 1:57:53from the '20s, man. He was fantastic.
- 1:57:55So, I walk in his office,
- 1:57:57and we're talking, and he has this big
- 1:57:58huge humidor.
- 1:58:00He opened it He's a big cigar smoker. He
- 1:58:02opens it up, flips it around, shoves it
- 1:58:04in my face, and he goes, "Do you smoke?"
- 1:58:07I go, "No." He says, "Would you like to
- 1:58:09start?"
- 1:58:12>> That's awesome.
- 1:58:12>> And I said, "Well, sure, you know, but
- 1:58:14you have to teach me how to do this, cuz
- 1:58:16I don't know how to do this." First,
- 1:58:18let's start with the cutter.
- 1:58:19>> You have a guillotine or a V.
- 1:58:21>> And he's like going on and on, and I'm
- 1:58:23like, "This guy is the coolest guy."
- 1:58:25>> Okay. What's the number one thing you
- 1:58:26learned about mindset or success from W.
- 1:58:28Clement Stone?
- 1:58:30>> Clem Stone made a statement to me
- 1:58:34that I had a hard time understanding.
- 1:58:37But he said,
- 1:58:39"Success
- 1:58:40is a decision away."
- 1:58:44It was so simple, and I thought, "This
- 1:58:46can't be that easy."
- 1:58:48Is when you make a decision that you're
- 1:58:50going to do it, that's it, period. The
- 1:58:51whole universe goes to work for you.
- 1:58:55You have to make a decision that you're
- 1:58:57going to do it, that's it,
- 1:58:59period. No one's going to stop you. And
- 1:59:03he or his whole face changed. It was
- 1:59:05like, I don't want to fight this guy.
- 1:59:07He's 86 years old, but he'll beat the
- 1:59:08crap out of me with that type of
- 1:59:10determination.
- 1:59:12And I realized what he meant.
- 1:59:14He's 86. He's frail and fragile. I'm
- 1:59:17young and robust, and I know kung fu.
- 1:59:19Okay. I don't want to get into a fight
- 1:59:21with him. Cuz when he said that he was
- 1:59:24going to do it, that's it, period, you
- 1:59:25could feel the determination that he
- 1:59:28will not be denied.
- 1:59:30>> Mhm.
- 1:59:31>> No one and nothing is going to stop him.
- 1:59:34That's what it takes to become
- 1:59:35successful. You have to make that
- 1:59:37decision. Years later, flash forward,
- 1:59:39I'm in a swimming pool, and I'm with a
- 1:59:41very wealthy guy worth several billion
- 1:59:43dollars. Big burly guy. You don't hair
- 1:59:45all over his Not only on his chest, but
- 1:59:46his back, his shoulders, right? Cool
- 1:59:48guy, right? And he was We'd call him
- 1:59:50hairy hairy bear.
- 1:59:53So, he's in the pool, and I'm asking him
- 1:59:54about success. So, he comes over,
- 1:59:57grabs my hair. That's when I had a lot
- 1:59:59of hair. Grabbed my hair, and I mean
- 2:00:02like a vice, and shoved me under the
- 2:00:05under the water. He's like 260. At the
- 2:00:08time, I'm like 175
- 2:00:10lbs. And I'm kicking and screa- And I
- 2:00:13think he's playing until I feel he's not
- 2:00:16playing. I don't know what's going on.
- 2:00:18I'm freaking out, and I actually inhale
- 2:00:22some water.
- 2:00:23And he pulls me up, and I'm spitting the
- 2:00:25water out, and I don't know if I'm
- 2:00:28relieved, or if I'm pissed off, or if
- 2:00:30I'm still scared. I'm I have this
- 2:00:32combination, and he's just laughing.
- 2:00:34And it took me a while to kind of get my
- 2:00:36wits about myself, and he says, "When
- 2:00:39you want success as badly as you wanted
- 2:00:41to breathe, that's when you'll get it."
- 2:00:43>> Mhm.
- 2:00:45>> And I go,
- 2:00:47"How does this How does this correlate
- 2:00:49with release attachment to the outcome?
- 2:00:52>> Mhm.
- 2:00:53>> And he said, you can't release
- 2:00:55attachment to an outcome when you're not
- 2:00:57committed to that outcome. So, you have
- 2:00:59to want it like this first. You don't
- 2:01:01live in these states, you visit them.
- 2:01:03You go through the cycle.
- 2:01:05>> Mhm.
- 2:01:05>> So, you have to get to the state just
- 2:01:07like you had to get to the state of
- 2:01:09disgust. You don't live there, you go to
- 2:01:10the next one. So, you have to go through
- 2:01:12all of these. You have to have that type
- 2:01:14of emotion. And then, you have to repeat
- 2:01:17it again in an hour.
- 2:01:19And then repeat it next tomorrow. It has
- 2:01:21to be a constant moving thing. It's a
- 2:01:24movement. It's a movement.
- 2:01:26Oh my gosh, I could see it in my mind
- 2:01:29that the universe is constantly rotating
- 2:01:32and moving. It's not stagnant. And we
- 2:01:36have to be the same way with our mind
- 2:01:38and emotions if we're going to create
- 2:01:40something or manifest something or make
- 2:01:42something happen.
- 2:01:43>> I love that. And then the last question
- 2:01:45I have, uh, Kevin, is when you wrote the
- 2:01:48book, Your Wish Is Your Command, How to
- 2:01:50Manifest Your Dream Life, why did you
- 2:01:52write the book? And why should people
- 2:01:54get it if they're interested in changing
- 2:01:56their life? What can it do for you?
- 2:01:57>> a motivational speaker. I'm not in the
- 2:01:59success business. I was a real
- 2:02:00businessman. I had three TV networks in
- 2:02:02Europe, mining operations in Australia,
- 2:02:04a whole host of other companies. I had
- 2:02:06that billions in sales in real business
- 2:02:07before I ever gave one lecture on how
- 2:02:10to, you know, become successful or
- 2:02:12organization or communication or
- 2:02:14anything like that.
- 2:02:15>> How many billions in business have you
- 2:02:16done?
- 2:02:16>> You know, it's estimated in today's
- 2:02:18dollars somewhere around 25 billion
- 2:02:20around the world with all the companies
- 2:02:21I've been associated with and products
- 2:02:23that I've been associated with and so
- 2:02:24forth. Quite a lot, clearly. I'm most
- 2:02:27known in America for the TV infomercials
- 2:02:29cuz that was visible. But, most of the
- 2:02:32other businesses which generated huge
- 2:02:33money were not visible. You know, they
- 2:02:35were behind the scenes and not, you
- 2:02:37know, very public to people. But, the
- 2:02:39reason I wrote this is I had about 100
- 2:02:41people that worked for me over the years
- 2:02:42and it was one particular gal was my
- 2:02:45file clerk. She basically was at minimum
- 2:02:47wage part-time filing stuff for me and
- 2:02:49she went on to become a
- 2:02:50multi-millionaire in real estate.
- 2:02:53She first she became became worked her
- 2:02:54way up and became president a couple of
- 2:02:56my companies and then went off to build
- 2:02:58a real estate empire.
- 2:03:00Because I taught her the principles and
- 2:03:02she observed me. She was a fly on the
- 2:03:04wall watching me.
- 2:03:05And there has been over a hundred people
- 2:03:07that became millionaires or
- 2:03:08multi-millionaires who were in that you
- 2:03:10know, over the years that either worked
- 2:03:11for me, observed me and they used the
- 2:03:14principles that I taught them. I didn't
- 2:03:15teach them everything. She taught them a
- 2:03:17few things.
- 2:03:18So many people just started coming to me
- 2:03:20saying, "Teach us.
- 2:03:22You know, you have no college education.
- 2:03:24You got no degree. You have no
- 2:03:26connections. You had no money. You start
- 2:03:28all your companies out of cash flow from
- 2:03:31nothing.
- 2:03:32How do you do it so fast? How do you
- 2:03:34make all this money? I mean, you do all
- 2:03:36these successful ventures. It's like we
- 2:03:39don't understand. What are you doing?
- 2:03:40Teach it."
- 2:03:41So 20 years ago, 25 years ago, I went
- 2:03:43into the Alps and I decided to bring up
- 2:03:46about a hundred people in and I would
- 2:03:48teach them
- 2:03:49a system that I learned in the
- 2:03:51brotherhood, the 40-point algorithm for
- 2:03:53success. I'd say, "Here's all the pieces
- 2:03:55of the puzzle. There's nothing else.
- 2:03:57Everybody else is still making stuff up
- 2:03:59of what they think works. They don't
- 2:04:00have any idea. They know about success
- 2:04:02but they really don't know."
- 2:04:04So I'm going to give you the whole
- 2:04:06thing. And I'm it's not anything I
- 2:04:08invented. It's what was taught to me. It
- 2:04:10worked and I'm going to teach it to you.
- 2:04:11So I recorded that seminar. It was
- 2:04:13called Your Wish Is Your Command. I had
- 2:04:15some royalty there, members of royal
- 2:04:16families who were friends of mine
- 2:04:18validating that it worked. I had a few
- 2:04:19billionaires there validating that this
- 2:04:22is the success system that virtually
- 2:04:24never fails. I had people from politics
- 2:04:26and a whole bunch of others
- 2:04:28validating for the people in the room,
- 2:04:30"It's just not Kevin talking. You know,
- 2:04:31we're his friend. We use it. He taught
- 2:04:34me and my family. You know, he came to
- 2:04:35the palace. He taught my my kids. He's
- 2:04:38the real deal. This is the real deal.
- 2:04:41This is what we use in the highest
- 2:04:43elite class of people around the world.
- 2:04:46And if you do it, it it'll work as well.
- 2:04:49So, I recorded that
- 2:04:51and we sold that recording. First it was
- 2:04:53on CDs. Remember CDs? First it was on
- 2:04:56CDs. So, we sold the CDs for $1,000 or
- 2:04:59$1,500. And this is 25 years ago.
- 2:05:03And people loved the CDs. It was a live
- 2:05:05recording. I went into the studio and
- 2:05:06cleaned it up a little bit. But it was a
- 2:05:08live recording. But over the years,
- 2:05:11people had some questions. So, as I was
- 2:05:13getting the questions, I thought,
- 2:05:15"Okay, so maybe that's not 100% clear in
- 2:05:17the original recording."
- 2:05:19So, I thought, "Let me write a book
- 2:05:21where I could fill in all the blanks and
- 2:05:24basically
- 2:05:25answer all those questions that people
- 2:05:27generally have. This common questions."
- 2:05:29So, I I can clarify it. So, that's why I
- 2:05:31wrote the book. And also, the book when
- 2:05:34you know, when you have a number one New
- 2:05:35York Times best seller,
- 2:05:37that puts you in a different category
- 2:05:38than if you have a CD set.
- 2:05:39>> Right.
- 2:05:40>> Right? So, writing the book was
- 2:05:41significant because it would positively
- 2:05:43impact more people,
- 2:05:45allowing you to market it on Amazon and
- 2:05:47and and do podcasts like this and and
- 2:05:49do, you know, the Today show again. I
- 2:05:51did the Today show and CBS. I was on a
- 2:05:54couple Fortune magazine, front page of
- 2:05:56New York Times, front page of Wall
- 2:05:57Street Journal,
- 2:05:59you know, Howard Stern show, you know,
- 2:06:00when I came up with all these other
- 2:06:02books. So,
- 2:06:02>> You're on the Howard Stern show?
- 2:06:03>> I was on Howard, yeah.
- 2:06:04>> Wow. I love Howard Stern. What was that
- 2:06:06experience like? Side note.
- 2:06:07>> Howard was cool because I was um
- 2:06:10introduced to him through Amy Lynn
- 2:06:11Baxter. I was dating Amy Lynn. She was
- 2:06:15the only girl to be on the cover of
- 2:06:16Penthouse and Playboy. And we met
- 2:06:18through a couple
- 2:06:19mutual friends.
- 2:06:21>> You were You were staying busy in those
- 2:06:22days, it
- 2:06:23>> Yeah, I was staying very busy. I was
- 2:06:24single bachelor in my whole life. Now
- 2:06:25I'm happily married, which is way
- 2:06:27better. Uh to a fantastic woman.
- 2:06:30Best friend. She's right over there.
- 2:06:32Fantastic.
- 2:06:33So, but back then Amy Lynn was good
- 2:06:35friends with Howard cuz she was in the
- 2:06:36movie Private Parts that Howard did.
- 2:06:38>> Yes, back
- 2:06:39>> We went to his birthday party and hit it
- 2:06:40off and I was on his show and he was a
- 2:06:42big fan of the natural cures thing.
- 2:06:44>> That is awesome. And then my last
- 2:06:46question is, you know, for people who
- 2:06:48are watching this inspired, want to
- 2:06:50follow you, want to connect, they want
- 2:06:51to grab the book Your Wishes Command
- 2:06:53Your Wishes Your Command and they have a
- 2:06:55dream, a goal, a desire, but maybe they
- 2:06:57feel for whatever reason stuck inside or
- 2:06:59maybe they're going to start taking
- 2:07:00action. Maybe they want to start
- 2:07:01following the formula. Men and women
- 2:07:03around the world who are listening to
- 2:07:04this right now and they want to take
- 2:07:06that next step 1 2 3. What would Kevin
- 2:07:09Trudeau's best advice be to somebody out
- 2:07:11there? Last piece of advice if you could
- 2:07:12give to the world on how to make your
- 2:07:14dreams a reality, how to get unstuck,
- 2:07:16and how to finally blast through the
- 2:07:17limiting beliefs you might live with
- 2:07:18now.
- 2:07:18>> say it's different for every single
- 2:07:20person and just do the next logical
- 2:07:23step. Go as far as you can see and when
- 2:07:26you get there, you can see further.
- 2:07:28>> What if you see multiple options and you
- 2:07:29don't know what to pick?
- 2:07:30>> Yeah, then don't pick anything. It's
- 2:07:32okay to A decision isn't yes or no. A
- 2:07:35decision isn't left or right. Sometimes
- 2:07:37it's I'm not going to make a decision
- 2:07:38right now. It's perfectly okay to go
- 2:07:41into a state of going, "You know
- 2:07:42something? I'm not sure. I'm not going
- 2:07:44to choose."
- 2:07:45>> So, when should someone choose?
- 2:07:46>> When you feel the green light.
- 2:07:48>> What if years go by or months go by or
- 2:07:50weeks go by and you don't feel that
- 2:07:51green light?
- 2:07:52>> That's probably okay, too. Because
- 2:07:54you're not ready. If you don't get that
- 2:07:56green light
- 2:07:57>> How can someone get ready then? I don't
- 2:07:59mean to cut
- 2:08:00>> Yeah, no, and it's a very legitimate
- 2:08:01question.
- 2:08:03This is why if you do the basic things
- 2:08:07such as reading positive thinking books
- 2:08:09like
- 2:08:11at my website I have a whole bunch of
- 2:08:12books that I recommend. Here's one of
- 2:08:13them, but there's a lot of other ones,
- 2:08:15too. If you're reading a little bit
- 2:08:16every day, if you're listening to audio
- 2:08:18recordings every day, maybe you join a
- 2:08:20success club, maybe you go to some
- 2:08:22online masterminds or listen to some
- 2:08:25speakers, maybe just
- 2:08:27watch the History Channel.
- 2:08:29>> Mhm.
- 2:08:29>> And watch The Men Who Built America, The
- 2:08:31Food That Built America, and get
- 2:08:33inspired. Something is going to happen.
- 2:08:36Or just go for a walk without
- 2:08:39headphones, without music. Go for a walk
- 2:08:41in nature.
- 2:08:43Be around things that have a beauty
- 2:08:45aesthetic, which is what wealthy people
- 2:08:47do. They find, whether it's sculpture or
- 2:08:50art
- 2:08:51or nature
- 2:08:53that have the aesthetic wave of beauty.
- 2:08:56That influences you in a major way. Most
- 2:09:00people are not surrounded by that
- 2:09:01aesthetic wave of beauty, which actually
- 2:09:04acts as a prosperity attractor field
- 2:09:08generator.
- 2:09:09>> Mhm.
- 2:09:10>> And this is what wealthy people do. So,
- 2:09:11there's a whole host of things that
- 2:09:13people can do to get out of that stuck,
- 2:09:15you know, I'm stuck. I don't know what
- 2:09:17to do next. I feel like I'm stuck.
- 2:09:18>> Change the environment, change the
- 2:09:19energy, go work out of a hotel, luxury
- 2:09:21hotel, or go where it's better, whatever
- 2:09:22it is.
- 2:09:23>> Go to a museum and be surrounded by the
- 2:09:25aesthetic wave. You may hate it so much
- 2:09:27you'll get motivated to do something.
- 2:09:29I mean, seriously, that's what happens.
- 2:09:31Sometimes you get in there and you just
- 2:09:32get so agitated.
- 2:09:33>> Mhm.
- 2:09:34>> It's like, why am I go I I need to be
- 2:09:36doing something, but it's You don't know
- 2:09:37what's happening. You're surrounded,
- 2:09:39you're actually bathing yourself in the
- 2:09:42waves, actual energetic waves of an
- 2:09:46aesthetic frequency called beauty. And
- 2:09:49it blows out negative charge in your
- 2:09:52field, which is why all wealthy people
- 2:09:55are surrounded by what they classify as
- 2:09:57beauty. It's an aesthetic. Sure, it's a
- 2:10:00good investment, it's a good tax
- 2:10:02write-off, there's a bunch of other
- 2:10:03reasons, too.
- 2:10:04>> Right.
- 2:10:04>> But they're they understand the power of
- 2:10:07the aesthetic frequency band that's
- 2:10:10being that's permeating their body. They
- 2:10:14understand how that's clearing their
- 2:10:15field from negativity.
- 2:10:17>> I love that. Thank you so much for being
- 2:10:19on the show today, my man, and I
- 2:10:21appreciate you sharing the wisdom. Any
- 2:10:23final words of wisdom you could share
- 2:10:24with the audience or where they can find
- 2:10:26you, here at the Limitless podcast,
- 2:10:28anything else?
- 2:10:28>> I would I would just tell people this,
- 2:10:30just remember you were born to win.
- 2:10:33You were engineered for success. You
- 2:10:35were designed for accomplishment, and
