- 0:00So, after 10 years of learning English,
- 0:01people always ask me, "What's your
- 0:03[music] secret? How do you maintain your
- 0:05level?" And honestly, it comes down to
- 0:06just two daily habits. [music] That's
- 0:09it. They're simple. They're sustainable.
- 0:11And most importantly, you can actually
- 0:13see progress [music] every single day.
- 0:15And I'm still doing them every day. Now,
- 0:17the first one is read aloud every day. I
- 0:20think it is massively underrated. I see
- 0:23so many people obsessing over creating
- 0:25content or speaking practice at the very
- 0:27beginning of their study journey, but
- 0:29actually they completely [music] skip
- 0:31this fundamental step. Here's why
- 0:33reading aloud is incredible for you.
- 0:35First, it can help you boost confidence
- 0:37when speaking English and also you will
- 0:39have daily pronunciation practice and it
- 0:42can give you a solid foundation for
- 0:44everything else including fluency,
- 0:46inonation, natural rhythm. [music] When
- 0:48you vocalize these words and sentences,
- 0:50you are literally training your brain to
- 0:52connect the [music] sounds with meaning.
- 0:54You're teaching your mouth how to move.
- 0:56You are building muscle memory. But
- 0:58here's the crucial part. [music] Don't
- 1:00just be a reading robot. You know what I
- 1:03mean? That kind of word by word lifeless
- 1:06reading. Actually, don't [music] do
- 1:07that. Let me give you an example.
- 1:09Learning English is all about
- 1:12persistence [music] and perseverance.
- 1:15You cannot give up. Don't do that.
- 1:18Instead, you should do like [music]
- 1:19learning English is all about
- 1:22persistence and [music] perseverance.
- 1:25You cannot give up when difficulties
- 1:28emerge. You can be slow but pay
- 1:30attention to the place that you
- 1:32naturally pause and also where does one
- 1:35idea end and another begin. When you
- 1:37figure this out, suddenly the sentence
- 1:39structure becomes crystal clear for you.
- 1:41I still do this every single day even
- 1:43now. is how I maintain my English
- 1:45environment, especially since I'm not
- 1:47surrounded by native speakers 24/7 now.
- 1:49So, the second habit is write something
- 1:52every day. People will say like, but we
- 1:54have chat GPT, we have AI now. Why do I
- 1:57need to write? Here's the reality.
- 1:59Writing is just another form of
- 2:01speaking. Actually, it's speaking with a
- 2:04pause button. Think about it. If someone
- 2:06writes well with great grammar, clear
- 2:09logic, smooth flow, do you think that
- 2:11they're going to struggle when speaking?
- 2:13Of course not. Strong writing skills
- 2:15translate directly and smoothly to
- 2:17strong speaking skills. Here's what
- 2:20makes writing so powerful. When you
- 2:22write, you have time to think before you
- 2:24commit. You see your thoughts on paper
- 2:27or screen. You can rearrange them. You
- 2:30can visualize your sentence structures,
- 2:31your vocabulary choices, and your
- 2:33argument flow. But actually with
- 2:35speaking [music] it's gone the moment it
- 2:36leaves your mouth, right? You don't get
- 2:38that visual feedback. So my
- 2:41recommendation is that you should start
- 2:42a daily journal. [music] No matter on
- 2:45your phone or laptop or just with a
- 2:47notebook, just take notes about your
- 2:50work or your life. Write down random
- 2:52thoughts. Doesn't matter what, but just
- 2:54write something down every day. After
- 2:56you write, just [music] threw it into
- 2:58Chai GBT and ask it to polish your
- 3:01language and then read the improved
- 3:03version aloud. I will give you a very
- 3:04useful prompt here and just [music] take
- 3:06a screenshot. Actually, learning English
- 3:09is not about magically becoming C2 level
- 3:11overnight. It's not about perfect
- 3:13grammar or sounding exactly like a
- 3:15native speaker tomorrow. It's about
- 3:17showing up consistently. It's about
- 3:19building sustainable [music] habits that
- 3:21actually stick. Just start small. 5
- 3:23minutes of reading aloud, a few
- 3:25sentences in your journal. That's all
- 3:27you need to
