4. 0:12that a skill is only complete when it
5. 0:14leads to work. In 2011, TEVTA opened its
6. 0:18placement cell. Graduate records lived
7. 0:20in registers, and employers were reached
8. 0:23one phone call at a time. Year after
9. 0:25year, the struggle went on.
10. 0:28Skilled youth and industry remained
11. 0:30disconnected, each working in its
12. 0:32[music] own silo.
13. 0:33In 2019, a team of dynamic professionals
14. 0:36took the lead and went beyond the office
15. 0:39walls. They engaged employers, chambers
16. 0:41of commerce, industry [music]
17. 0:42associations, faculty, placement
18. 0:45officers, trainees, and alumni, laying
19. 0:47the foundation for a new direction
20. 0:49[music] of the placement system. TEVTA
21. 0:51began a new journey towards
22. 0:53establishment of new ecosystem for
23. 0:55skilled youth. Career [music] guidance
24. 0:56activities were identified for trainees
25. 0:59and alumni.

28. 1:05were created for TVET sector trainees,
29. 1:07[music]
30. 1:08and technology became central to the
31. 1:10transformation. In 2021, TEVTA launched
32. 1:13its first [music] in-house built careers
33. 1:15dashboard, bringing visibility and
34. 1:17monitoring to career guidance and
35. 1:19placement activities.

37. 1:21joined hands with the TVET sector
38. 1:23support program and GIZ, and major
39. 1:26interventions initiated and implemented
40. 1:28[music]
41. 1:29through JICA.
42. 1:30Establishment of 10 CC and JP centers
43. 1:33across Punjab. Revision of career
44. 1:35counseling content with gender
45. 1:37inclusivity. Readiness of 80 master
46. 1:40trainers. Cascading [music] to 365
47. 1:43placement officers. Capacity building of
48. 1:46placement [music] officers on industrial
49. 1:48linkages and outreach. Webinar series on
50. 1:51skill-based migration. [music]
51. 1:53Training of counselors on ILO module of
52. 1:55entrepreneurship. [music] Training of
53. 1:57career counselors of KP, GB, and
54. 2:00Balochistan through TEVTA Punjab.
55. 2:02[music] Through targeted interventions
56. 2:04under the TVET SSP, a standardized
57. 2:07career counseling material was rolled
58. 2:09out across all TEVTA training
59. 2:10institutes. TEVTA Careers Division has
60. 2:13significantly expanded [music] its
61. 2:14reach, empowering skilled youth through
62. 2:1798,000 career counseling sessions, 5,000
63. 2:20guest speaker lectures, and 3,100
64. 2:23industrial visits. With 1,200 campus
65. 2:27recruitment drives and 53 job fairs,
66. 2:29[music] the division onboarded 7,000
67. 2:31employers to strengthen industry
68. 2:33linkages and connected 20,000 skilled
69. 2:36trainees [music] with meaningful
70. 2:37employment opportunities. The TEVTA
71. 2:39Careers Dashboard [music] monitors the
72. 2:41performance of field officers against
73. 2:43defined KPIs and annual targets. Through
74. 2:46a structured assessment matrix and
75. 2:48evaluation workshops, [music]
76. 2:49top-performing placement officers are
77. 2:51selected, ensuring transparency,
78. 2:53accountability, and merit-based
79. 2:55recognition. The Careers Division has
80. 2:58consistently set the benchmark [music]
81. 2:59for recognizing excellence, appreciating
82. 3:02outstanding contributions, and
83. 3:04celebrating [music] the dedication of
84. 3:05its placement team. Today, the TEVTA
85. 3:08Careers Division once again proudly
86. 3:10presents its top achievers of the
87. 3:12placement team, recognizing their
88. 3:14exceptional performance, commitment, and
89. 3:16valuable contributions to connecting
90. 3:18skilled youth with employment [music]
91. 3:20opportunities. Through its overseas
92. 3:22employment promoter cell, the Careers
93. 3:24Division has expanded horizons beyond
94. 3:26borders, connecting alumni with global
95. 3:28employment [music] opportunities, and
96. 3:30facilitating their careers with renowned
97. 3:32international employers at no cost to
98. 3:34the candidates.
