- 0:12week 4. PE and Health activating
- 0:15[musika] safety in action. Today ang
- 0:18topic natin ay building your safety net.
- 0:21Kapag naririnig natin ang word na
- 0:23safety, madalas isipin natin agad ay
- 0:25rules, guards, gates or emergency exits.
- 0:29Pero sa lesson na ito, mas lalalim ang
- 0:31meaning ng safety. Safety is not only
- 0:33about being physically protected. It is
- 0:36also about feeling emotionally secure,
- 0:38socially supported, and mentally okay.
- 0:41Ang safety net ay parang invisible
- 0:43support system. Ito ang mga tao, lugar,
- 0:46habit ation na tumutulong sa atin kapag
- 0:48may problema, stress, fear, conflict or
- 0:51emergency. Sa MAPE mahalaga ito kasi
- 0:55health is not just a physical fitness.
- 0:57Kasama rin dito ang mental health,
- 0:59emotional wellbeing, relationship and
- 1:02community safety. Habang dini-discuss
- 1:04natin ang slides, isipin ninyo sino ang
- 1:07trusted people niyo, saan kayo
- 1:09nakakaramdam ng safety at ano ang kaya
- 1:11ninyong gawin para maging safer ang
- 1:14school, home, and community. This slide
- 1:17shows our mission from understanding to
- 1:19action. Ibig sabihin, hindi sapat na
- 1:22alam lang natin kung ano ang safe
- 1:24environment. Dapat kaya rin nating
- 1:26gumawa ng konkretong aksyon para
- 1:28makatulong. Sa week three, focus natin
- 1:31ang tuury. Dito natin inaaral kung ano
- 1:33ang healthy connections, support system,
- 1:36and safe space. Pero sa week four,
- 1:38ililipat tayo sa action. Dito na papasok
- 1:41ang planning, decision making, and
- 1:43responsibility. May four directives
- 1:45tayo. Una, identify healthy connections
- 1:48and how they help. Second, recognize
- 1:51emotional, informational and practical
- 1:54support. Third, design safe highents for
- 1:56everyday life and emergencies. Fourth,
- 1:59create an action plan for school, home,
- 2:01and community. Safety does not happen
- 2:04automatically. Binubuo ito choices,
- 2:07words, habits, and willingness to ask
- 2:09for help. Kaya ang responsibility natin
- 2:11ay hindi lang protektahan ng sarili
- 2:13kundi makatulong din na gumawa [musika]
- 2:15ng safe space para sa iba. This slide
- 2:18explains the anatomy of a healthy
- 2:19connection. Kapag sinabi nating healthy
- 2:21connection, hindi lang ito simpleng
- 2:23friendship. Ito ay relationship na may
- 2:25trust, [musika] support, communication,
- 2:27acceptance and shared interest. Una,
- 2:30trust. Kapag may trust, kaya mong
- 2:32mag-share ng problema without [musika]
- 2:33fear na pagtawanan ka. I-judge ka o
- 2:36ikalat ang sinabi mo. Second, support.
- 2:38Ito yung taong nagpapalakas ng loob mo
- 2:40kapag bagsak [musika] ka. Malungkot or
- 2:42disappointed. Third, communication.
- 2:45Healthy connection means both people can
- 2:47speak and listen respectfully. [musika]
- 2:49Hindi lang puro advice, hindi lang puro
- 2:51sermon. Fourth, acceptance. You are
- 2:53[musika] valued for who you are. Hindi
- 2:55lang kapag mataas ang rates mo or
- 2:57perfect ang performance [musika] mo.
- 2:58Fifth, short interest. Covon interest
- 3:01like sports, music, gaming [musika] or
- 3:03hobbies can help build connection. Pero
- 3:05tandaan, healthy connections must
- 3:08respect boundaries. Hindi porket
- 3:09[musika] close kayo, pwede ng
- 3:11mangkontrol, mang-pressure or
- 3:12mang-invalidate. Respect is part of
- 3:15safety. This slide teaches us how to
- 3:17identify what kind of support [musika]
- 3:19we need. Minsan kasi kapag stress tayo,
- 3:22hindi natin alam kung paano humingi ng
- 3:24tulong. Kaya mahalaga ang self-advocacy.
- 3:26Meaning, kaya mong sabihin clearly and
- 3:29respectfully [musika] kung ano ang
- 3:30kailangan mo. There are three types of
- 3:31support. Una, emotional support. Ito ang
- 3:34kailangan natin kapag overwhelm, scared
- 3:37or sad [musika] tayo. Example, someone
- 3:39listens, comforts, encourages, and stays
- 3:42with us emotionally. Second,
- 3:44informational support. [musika] Ito ang
- 3:46kailangan kapag hindi natin alam ang
- 3:48gagawin. Example, advice, guidance,
- 3:51study tips, [musika] instructions or
- 3:53exploration. Third, practical support.
- 3:56Ito naman ang direct help like
- 3:57transportation, helpings, [musika]
- 4:00carrying supplies or assisting during
- 4:01emergencies. Important din ang cultural
- 4:04sensitivity. [musika] Hindi lahat
- 4:05pare-pareho ng need. May taong gusto
- 4:07munang mapakinggan. May taong gusto agad
- 4:10ng solusyon at may taong nahihiya
- 4:12humingi ng tulong. [musika] Kaya before
- 4:14helping, listen first. For activity one,
- 4:16ang gagawin ninyo ay i-map ang inyong
- 4:19[musika] support network. Pipili kayo ng
- 4:21dalawang tao na healthy connection sa
- 4:23buhay ninyo. Pwedeng family member,
- 4:25friend, teacher, coach, classmate or
- 4:27[musika] guidance counselor. Pero hindi
- 4:29sapat na pangalan lang ang ilalagay
- 4:31natin. Kailangan ninyong isipin ano ang
- 4:34role ng taong ito sa buhay ko? Ano ang
- 4:36core characteristic [musika] niya? Is
- 4:37this person trustworthy, supportive,
- 4:40respectful, or good listener? Then
- 4:42magbibigay kayo ng proof. Halimbawa,
- 4:44pinakinggan [musika] niya ako nung
- 4:45stress ako or tinulungan niya ako nung
- 4:47nagre-review ako without making me feel
- 4:49stupid. [musika] Ang proof ay mahalaga
- 4:51kasi hindi tayo basta-basta nag-a-assume
- 4:53na supportive ang isang tao. Nakikita
- 4:56ito [musika] sa actions. Finally,
- 4:58ilalagay ninyo kung anong support ang
- 5:00usually [musika] binibigay niya.
- 5:01Emotional, informational or practical.
- 5:04Thisactivity bills gratitude. Kapag
- 5:06na-recognize [musika]
- 5:07natin ang tumutulong sa atin, mas
- 5:09natutuot tayong mag-appreciate and
- 5:11maintain [musika] healthy relationships.
- 5:13Kapag na-recognize natin ang tumutulong
- 5:15sa atin, mas natuto tayong maging
- 5:17appreciative [musika] and maintain
- 5:19healthy relationships. This slide
- 5:21focuses on safe [musika] environments. A
- 5:23safe environment is not only a place
- 5:25without danger. It is a place where
- 5:27people [musika] feel protected,
- 5:29respected, included, and able to recover
- 5:31from stress or crisis. Sa school, safe
- 5:34environment includes clear rules,
- 5:36anti-bullying [musika] policies,
- 5:37approachable adults, and peaceful space
- 5:39like library corners. Kapag may trusted
- 5:42teacher or guidance counselor, mas
- 5:43madaling humingi ng tulong sa community.
- 5:45[musika]
- 5:46Safety can youth programs, welllighted
- 5:49states, clean public space, sports
- 5:51activities and people who look out for
- 5:53each other. Sa home naman, safety means
- 5:56[musika] being free from violence or
- 5:57neglect, ablear expectations and open
- 6:00communication. This [musika] slide also
- 6:02mentions childfrily spaces during
- 6:04emergency like bloods or fires. These
- 6:07spaces allow [musika] children and teens
- 6:09to draw, play, talk and return to a
- 6:11sense of safety is [musika] not just
- 6:13protection it is also emotional recovery
- 6:16and dignity. Activity 2, you will design
- 6:19your ideal safe space. This can be a
- 6:21physical place like a clean room, white
- 6:24corner, [musika]
- 6:25library table or classroom area. Pero
- 6:27pwede rin itong mental and emotional
- 6:29safe space like a routine that helps you
- 6:31come down. There are four parts. First,
- 6:34physical [musika] environment. As
- 6:35yourself, clean ba, quiet ba? Or welled
- 6:38ba? Comfortable [musika] ba? Second,
- 6:40social environment. Sino ang kasama mo?
- 6:43Alone ka ba with a best friend or with a
- 6:45trusted mentor? Third, activities. What
- 6:47activities [musika] help you feel safe?
- 6:49Reading, journaling, listening to music,
- 6:51stretching, prayer, drawing, walking
- 6:53[musika] or talking to someone? Fourth,
- 6:56feelings. What do you want to feel in
- 6:57that space? Peaceful, confident,
- 7:00accepted [musika] or secure? This is
- 7:02selfcare. Hindi selfcare ang pag-iwas
- 7:04lang sa responsibility. Real selfcare
- 7:06[musika] means knowing what helps your
- 7:08mental health so you can function
- 7:10better. This slide reminds us that you
- 7:12are the architect [musika] of your own
- 7:13safety plan. Ang architect ay hindi
- 7:15basta naghihintay na may bahay na mabuo.
- 7:18Nagplaplano siya, gumagawa ng blueprint
- 7:20[musika] at naghahanap ng mga materials.
- 7:22Ganun din sa safety. There are three
- 7:24parts. [musika] Goal, action, and
- 7:26resources. Una, goal. What exactly do
- 7:28you want to improve? Be specific.
- 7:30Halimbawa, I want to reduce bullying
- 7:32[musika] during break time or I want a
- 7:34quiet study routine at home. Second,
- 7:37action. [musika] What step will you
- 7:39take? Example, report to a trusted
- 7:41teacher, organize a study schedule,
- 7:43talkfully to family members, [musika] or
- 7:45join a school campaign. Third,
- 7:47resources. Who or what can help [musika]
- 7:49you? People, tools, group, school
- 7:51offices, family members, classmate or
- 7:54community programs. Active citizenship
- 7:56[musika]
- 7:56begins with a small action. Kahit simple
- 7:58step, kapag consistent, nakakatulong
- 8:00[musika] sa safer environment. Activity
- 8:033 is about making a safety net action
- 8:05plan for three environments. School,
- 8:08community [musika] and home. Here hindi
- 8:10tayo puro idea. Kailangan action
- 8:12oriented na. For each environment you
- 8:14will write a goal. Action and [musika]
- 8:16resources for school. Example goal. Make
- 8:19our classroom safer from teasing.
- 8:21Action. Report repeated teasing.
- 8:23Encourage respectful language.
- 8:25Resources. Advisor, [musika] guidance
- 8:27councelor, class officers. For
- 8:29community, example goal. Help make our
- 8:32own area clear and safer. [musika]
- 8:34Action: join or promote a cleanup drive.
- 8:36Third, resources. Resources. Barangay
- 8:39Youth Council, neighbors, [musika]
- 8:41classmates. For home, example goal,
- 8:44improved communication when I feel
- 8:45overwhelmed. This slide checks if you
- 8:47understand [musika] the lesson. Let us
- 8:49go through the ideas, not just the
- 8:51answers. Number one, ask about a friend
- 8:54who keeps your personal problem private.
- 8:56That is [musika] trust. Trust means you
- 8:57feel safe [kumakanta] sharing without
- 8:59fear of gossip. Number two, ask about
- 9:01study tips from a teacher. That is
- 9:03informational support [musika] because
- 9:05the teacher gives guidance and advice.
- 9:08Number three, talks about relief
- 9:09[musika] workers, giving food and
- 9:11bottled water after a flood. That is
- 9:13practical support because it direct
- 9:15health. Because it [musika] is direct.
- 9:17Number four, as why childfly spaces
- 9:19matter during emergencies. They are
- 9:21important because [musika] they provide
- 9:23routine, protection, and emotional
- 9:25recovery. Number five, ask about
- 9:27[musika] safe community environments.
- 9:29Welllighted streets and new programs are
- 9:31example [musika] because they reduce
- 9:33risk and promote positive activities.
- 9:35The knowledge check remind us that
- 9:37safety [musika] is seen in
- 9:38relationships, support, emergency, and
- 9:41community design. For part two, we
- 9:44continue checking [musika] deeper
- 9:45understanding. Number six, ask about
- 9:47self-advocacy. The best example is
- 9:50saying, I am overwalth and did advice.
- 9:52[musika] Bakit? Kasi self advocacy means
- 9:55clearly stating what you need instead of
- 9:56waiting silently, complaining or doing
- 9:59everything alone. [musika] Number seven,
- 10:01ask about resources in an action plan.
- 10:03Resources are the people, tools or
- 10:06groups that can help you. [musika]
- 10:07Number eight. Number eight, gives a
- 10:09classmate with a low score to encourage
- 10:11them and remind them that they can
- 10:13improve. That is emotional support
- 10:15number nine, ask about cultural
- 10:17sensitivity, it means understanding
- 10:18[musika]
- 10:19that people have different needs based
- 10:21on age, culture and personality. Number
- 10:2410, as about active [musika] citizenship
- 10:26at home. Starting a respectful
- 10:28conversation to solve conflict is a good
- 10:30example. Hindi kailangan laging grand
- 10:33action. Sometimes safety starts [musika]
- 10:35with respectful communication. This
- 10:38slide gives real life situations. Dito
- 10:40natin makikita kung kaya ba nating
- 10:42gamitin [musika] ang lesson sa actual
- 10:43life. Scenario 1, your best friend
- 10:46failed a major exam and is crying. The
- 10:48first support [musika] should be
- 10:49emotional support. Huwag agad sermon or
- 10:52solution. Start by listening. I know
- 10:54this feels heavy. [musika] I'm here.
- 10:56Kaya mo pa bumawi? After that, pwede ng
- 10:59mangbigay ng informational support like
- 11:01study tips. Scenario 2, [musika]
- 11:03a typhoon damage your town and families
- 11:05are in a covered court. If creating a
- 11:07childfly space, you can [musika] set up
- 11:09drawing activities and simple games.
- 11:12Drawing helps children express [musika]
- 11:14feelings while games restore routine and
- 11:16reduce fear. Scenario 3. Your house is
- 11:19noisy but you need to study. Use the
- 11:21ideal [musika] safe space quadrants.
- 11:23Find a quiet corner. Use earphones if
- 11:25allowed. Inform family [musika]
- 11:27respectfully. choose focus activity and
- 11:30and aim to be peaceful and secure.
- 11:32[musika] Scenario number four is about
- 11:34bullying. If you see a younger student
- 11:36being bullied, do not ignore it. Your
- 11:39goal can be stop repeated [musika]
- 11:41bullying during break time and help the
- 11:43younger student feel safe. Your action
- 11:45can be to report the incident [musika]
- 11:47to a trusted teacher or guidance
- 11:48councelor. Stayiner ner the victim safe.
- 11:51Avoid [musika] joining or laughing. Your
- 11:53resources can include advisor, guidance
- 11:56office, [musika] class officer, and
- 11:57school anti-poollying policy. Scenario 5
- 12:00is about feeling [musika] overwhelmed
- 12:02with school work and household works.
- 12:04This is where self-advocacy becomes
- 12:06important. Instead of saying, "Wala
- 12:08kayong pakialam [musika] sa akin, say
- 12:09something respectful and specific."
- 12:11Nahihirapan po akong tapusin ang
- 12:13assignment ko tonight. Pwede mo bang
- 12:14matulungan [musika] ako sa isang work or
- 12:16ilipat ko ito bukas? Self advocacy is
- 12:19not complaining. It is communicating
- 12:20[musika] your need clearly, comely, and
- 12:23respectful. This final slide summarizes
- 12:26the whole lesson. Your safety blueprint
- 12:28has three major parts. [musika] Support,
- 12:30safe space, and action plans. Support
- 12:32nodes are the people you [musika] trust.
- 12:34Safe spaces are the environments that
- 12:36help you feel protected and accepted.
- 12:38Action plans are [musika] the steps you
- 12:39take to improve school, home, and
- 12:41community safety. The most important
- 12:43message is this. A strong safety net is
- 12:46not a luxury that we simply [musika]
- 12:48wait for. It is something we
- 12:49intentionally build. We build it by
- 12:51choosing healthy connections, asking for
- 12:54the right kind of health, [musika]
- 12:55expecting boundaries, and practicing
- 12:57cultural sensitivity, and even taking
- 12:59small but meaningful actions. You can
- 13:02ask for help. You can [musika] support
- 13:03others. You can report harm. You can
- 13:06create safer spaces. Safety is not just
- 13:09a rule written on a wall. [musika] It is
- 13:10assured responsibility that we practice
- 13:13everyday.
