Tell Me - LIM | Less is More — Transcript
Full transcript
- 0:00The Tell Me is a video recording of yourself trying
- 0:05to tell your own project. The goal is to try to embark
- 0:10the others, to take the others, those who watch you into
- 0:15the intimacy of your project. It's all about creating as strong as
- 0:20possible a human connection between you and the others
- 0:24through the project you have in your hands.
- 0:29One of the key elements to generate a powerful flow is to be as
- 0:35far away as possible from analysis. It's not about trying
- 0:38to be clever. It's about trying to take us and try
- 0:44to generate an experience. It's about the creation of
- 0:47an experience. It's about taking us into something that we are
- 0:52part of, that we become with our stomachs and throats
- 0:56and lungs and bodies. Something that we become completely part of.
- 0:59You can do it with your iPhone, with your webcam,
- 1:07the smaller the camera is, the less impressive it will be
- 1:12for you and the more natural maybe you can be.
- 1:16It's all about taking us as close from your intimate process
- 1:21as possible, even if that intimate process is still at a pretty
- 1:25beginning stage of development. It has to be less than five
- 1:29minutes, without editing. We want to understand the excitement
- 1:32and the connection there is between you and that project.
- 1:36You can make of course as many attempts as you want and send us
- 1:40the best attempt you've done. The good thing with the
- 1:43Tell Me is that you're not trapped in front of people
- 1:46and in front of a jury and have to be good right now.
- 1:50No, you can be bad for 10 takes and then you reach
- 1:55the point of making it strong. So, please reach that point and
- 2:00try to have fun to generate the best you can.
- 2:07It's a good way to compare attempts. And this is why we use it a lot
- 2:13because it's a fantastic way to receive
- 2:17feedback in the work process, in the development process.
- 2:21So we even advise you to use the video Tell Me
- 2:25while you develop your project.
- 2:31And so you might surprise yourself, amaze yourself
- 2:37in such a way which is gonna be of course surprising for us.
- 2:43So, it's all about daring to be not so controlled
- 2:50as a synopsis or a treatment.
- 2:57And I would say please dare. Please jump.
