  2. 0:06hey kids I think we can all agree that
  3. 0:09there are a few pastimes more grotesque
  4. 0:11than competitive-eating the concept of a
  5. 0:13bunch of guys pushing their Anatomy to
  6. 0:15its limits just for sport leaves a bad
  7. 0:17taste in my mouth in more ways than one
  8. 0:19but imagine if these men didn't adopt
  9. 0:21this habit just for fun imagine if some
  10. 0:23gross biological error forced them to
  11. 0:25eat like this for their entire life
  12. 0:27introducing tari tari was born in France
  13. 0:31around 1772 to a poor farming family it
  14. 0:34said that his appetite was so voracious
  15. 0:36that by his teens
  16. 0:38Tarara could eat an entire quarter of a
  17. 0:40cow carcass in a single day you think
  18. 0:42he'd be like mega obese but no he only
  19. 0:44weighed a hundred pounds by age 17
  20. 0:46however there was still a few things
  21. 0:48that stood out about Tarara
  22. 0:49appearance-wise for one he had a huge
  23. 0:52stretched out mouth with horribly
  24. 0:53stained teeth he could reportedly fit 12
  25. 0:56eggs in his cheeks at once much like a
  26. 0:58chipmunk keeping its chipmunk eggs warm
  27. 0:59additionally when terraria was full he'd
  28. 1:02get a crazy Octomom gut going and any
  29. 1:04other time he'd have a huge flap of
  30. 1:06stretched out skin hanging around his
  31. 1:07waist he also stank to high hell even by
  32. 1:1018th century French peasant standards he
  33. 1:12was described as reeking quote to such a
  34. 1:14degree that he could not be endured
  35. 1:16within the distance of 20 paces so
  36. 1:18between all this and is horrendous
  37. 1:20outhouse flooding dumps his family had
  38. 1:22had enough all right you're eating us
  39. 1:23out of house and home here you gotta go
  40. 1:25man
  41. 1:26you heard me cake bricks froggy wow he
  42. 1:29just called a French person a frog
  43. 1:30that's so racist no it's not they're all
  44. 1:32French the guy just looks like a frog is
  45. 1:34all well well too late I'm already
  46. 1:36offended that's fair
  47. 1:38dislike after leaving home terraria was
  48. 1:40forced to beg and steal just to satisfy
  49. 1:42his gargantuan appetite inevitably
  50. 1:44people began to take notice of him and
  51. 1:46eventually he landed a job as a street
  52. 1:47performer in Paris people would hand
  53. 1:49Terraria entire baskets of apples eggs
  54. 1:51and even wine corks and watch in delight
  55. 1:54as he horked him down without the
  56. 1:55slightest hesitation normally this went
  57. 1:57off without a hitch except for one time
  58. 1:59when he suffered a severe intestinal
  59. 2:00blockage
  60. 2:01fortunately the crowd was kind enough to
  61. 2:03carry him to the hospital where he was
  62. 2:05treated with the strongest laxatives the
  63. 2:0618th century had to offer I would draw
  64. 2:08what happened next but it would probably
  65. 2:10get my channel deleted so let's just
  66. 2:12picture it for a few moments
  67. 2:17moving on cut to the Year 1795 the War
  68. 2:22of the first coalition ever heard of it
  69. 2:24me neither who was in it [ __ ]
  70. 2:25everyone anyway terraria decided to
  71. 2:27enlist in the war after all maybe that
  72. 2:29profound emptiness he was feeling was
  73. 2:30just a lack of purpose in life
  74. 2:32turns out no he really was just
  75. 2:34psychotically hungry even after being
  76. 2:36granted quadruple rations terraria would
  77. 2:38still be digging through the trash pile
  78. 2:39whenever he got the chance after
  79. 2:41suffering extreme exhaustion he was sent
  80. 2:43off to the military hospital in Utah the
  81. 2:45staff they were so dumbfounded by the
  82. 2:47man's abilities that they decided to
  83. 2:49keep him there to run a few experiments
  84. 2:50the first of which involve putting two
  85. 2:52Rory in a room with a meal prepared for
  86. 2:5415 people naturally he ate the entire
  87. 2:56thing and immediately fell asleep next
  88. 2:58they presented him with a raw eel in
  89. 3:00response
  90. 3:01Tarara crushed the eels skull between
  91. 3:02his teeth before slurping down the
  92. 3:04entire creature in one go
  93. 3:06now this is hair crunching Lee
  94. 3:08horrifying for a couple of reasons
  95. 3:10firstly he put a whole freakin eel in
  96. 3:12his stomach but secondly there had to be
  97. 3:14some point during digestion where the
  98. 3:16meat was gone but the bone still
  99. 3:17remained now for those of you who don't
  100. 3:19know an eel skeleton looks like this
  101. 3:21that means Terraria had all of those
  102. 3:23needle sized ribs stabbing into the
  103. 3:25walls of a stomach at once and he was
  104. 3:27fine he also ripped a live cat apart
  105. 3:29with his bare hands drank its blood and
  106. 3:31ate everything but its bones and then
  107. 3:32later gagged up the fur and skin like an
  108. 3:34owl but you know that's neither here nor
  109. 3:36there after reviewing our data I've come
  110. 3:38to the scientific conclusion that uh
  111. 3:40yeah we got a goddamn demon on our hands
  112. 3:43but as we all know with great devourer
  113. 3:45comes great responsibility
  114. 3:46since terraria was still technically
  115. 3:48enlisted the military decided to utilize
  116. 3:50his abilities for the greater good hates
  117. 3:52our RA it's me the general listen could
  118. 3:55you eat this box with a note in it for
  119. 3:56me if you do it will give you a
  120. 3:59wheelbarrow full of bull organs oh lo
  121. 4:02and behold two days later he passed the
  122. 4:04container in mint condition and was
  123. 4:05given his reward as promised with this
  124. 4:07proof-of-concept they made him an
  125. 4:09official spy and sent him into Prussia
  126. 4:11with a document in his belly to be
  127. 4:12delivered to an imprisoned French
  128. 4:14colonel unfortunately there are a couple
  129. 4:16things Tariq couldn't do that are
  130. 4:18generally important when sneaking into
  131. 4:19another country hey he couldn't speak
  132. 4:21German and be it's pretty hard to
  133. 4:23maintain a low profile when you're
  134. 4:25running around like a madman
  135. 4:26wolfing down garbage and mutilating
  136. 4:28small animals so he ended up being
  137. 4:30captured by the enemy
  138. 4:31initially he kept his mouth shut for
  139. 4:32once but after a whipping in a day in
  140. 4:34jail Tarara gave in after confessing
  141. 4:36that he did in fact have vital
  142. 4:38intelligence snaking its way through his
  143. 4:40GI tract the Prussians chained him to a
  144. 4:42latrine until lebackes emerged 30 hours
  145. 4:44later the note wasn't actually anything
  146. 4:46important so they just mock executed him
  147. 4:48give him a severe beating and sent him
  148. 4:49on his way
  149. 4:50after all that terraria returned to life
  150. 4:52at the hospital desperate for a cure for
  151. 4:54his condition but nothing they ever
  152. 4:55tried worked meanwhile the man's endless
  153. 4:57hunger continued to get him into all
  154. 4:59sorts of trouble he'd often sneaked out
  155. 5:01of the hospital to eat the scraps behind
  156. 5:02the local butcher and fight stray dogs
  157. 5:04in the alley for their precious garbage
  158. 5:06he'd also seek out patients undergoing
  159. 5:08bloodletting in order to take all their
  160. 5:10life juice for himself on several
  161. 5:12occasions he was even caught attempting
  162. 5:14to eat bodies in the mortuary by this
  163. 5:16point my research I was so desensitized
  164. 5:18to this guy that I didn't even bat an
  165. 5:19eye when I first read that I was just
  166. 5:21like all right I guess he must have been
  167. 5:23hungry anyway the hospital staff
  168. 5:24begrudging Lee tolerated Tiwari's
  169. 5:26buffoonery until one day when he went
  170. 5:28too far welter RA you've only had three
  171. 5:31mess-hall raids for miscellaneous trash
  172. 5:33related mishaps and one cadaver defiling
  173. 5:36so I'd say so far this week's been
  174. 5:38pretty good doctor
  175. 5:40we should probably inform you that a 14
  176. 5:42month old child has gone missing from
  177. 5:44their room
  178. 5:47Tarara look at me
  179. 5:49did you eat a [ __ ] baby
  180. 5:54kirari was promptly kicked out of the
  181. 5:57hospital and spent four years out and
  182. 5:59about doing you know whatever horrific
  183. 6:00[ __ ] you can imagine when he came back
  184. 6:02he was suffering from advanced
  185. 6:03tuberculosis and died shortly after
  186. 6:05arrival during his autopsy the surgeons
  187. 6:07found that when they looked into his
  188. 6:09mouth they could see all the way down
  189. 6:11his throat and into his stomach cavity
  190. 6:12as you can imagine his whole abdominal
  191. 6:14region was profoundly deformed basically
  192. 6:17if this is a normal human this is what
  193. 6:18they found inside to our RA just like
  194. 6:20the man's mind we can see that around
  195. 6:2290% is devoted towards food and 10%
  196. 6:24towards everything else so moral of the
  197. 6:27story here is that now you know what not
  198. 6:29even I can find anything resembling a
  199. 6:31moral here not all stories have a point
  200. 6:33to them sometimes they're just sad and
  201. 6:34disgusting from beginning to end and now
  202. 6:38a word from our sponsor as you can
  203. 6:39probably tell I'm a very visual person
  204. 6:41when it comes to learning I firmly
  205. 6:43believe that engaging visuals are an
  206. 6:45essential teaching tool that allows for
  207. 6:47much deeper comprehension than plain old
  208. 6:48walls of text that's why I'm pleased to
  209. 6:50introduce our sponsor brilliant org we
  210. 6:53all know that math and science are
  211. 6:54really important to master and
  212. 6:55brilliance elegant UI and step-by-step
  213. 6:57design makes the learning seemingly
  214. 6:59complex topics very intuitive especially
  215. 7:02for visual learners they're
  216. 7:03straightforward graphics delightful
  217. 7:05animations and interactive puzzles make
  218. 7:07it easy and fun to hone your own
  219. 7:08critical thinking skills personally I've
  220. 7:10always been super intrigued by neural
  221. 7:12networks and all the things you can do
  222. 7:13with them but I've always been too
  223. 7:15intimidated to research them in depth
  224. 7:17after learning about brilliance I
  225. 7:18actually started taking their course in
  226. 7:20the subject and I got to say it's been
  227. 7:21such a pleasurable experience that I
  228. 7:23plan to continue with it in my own spare
  229. 7:25time to support me and learn more about
